Demons and Demon Hunters, Like I promised during Thanksgiving, I present to you the last beta version of Astraifort Estate, beta 0.11b
This being the last beta doesn't mean that this game is over. This means that next release will be the first of several "release candidates" which would be getting us closer to a final version of this CYOA game.
Story-wise, Release Candidates will wrap up the adventure and introduce the lord of the manor.
But today, with this beta release, I bring to you the ground work for the final stage in the game.
All of the endings not related to the master wing of the manor are here.
What is next for this CYOA adventure? Will I be working directly on the final part of the game?
Yes and No.
I want to revise and review all of the areas that I worked on for the last year or so. The area that has my interest the most are the Pharaoh's stage which seems to be the most confusing for players. I might have to rewrite parts of it. I also think that the hellhound could use a little bit more of work. Also with this release, I am not 100% happy with ending 44. I think it is lacking more quality but I promised to release this tonight.
I want to deliver something good and it is my responsibility to deliver the best quality to the people who are here cheering me up :>
At the same time, I want to also make progress. I'll write the final section of the game in traditional story format so when I am ready to continue, I can progress on the game and hit Release Candidate 1 ASAP.
