It had been a very rough few weeks for young Harry James Potter, everything had seemed like it was going so well for his 4th year at Hogwarts, but, it seemed like everything had just liked to hit him in the face when he least expected it. First he was hoping to spend a great time at the Quidditch World Cup with Hermione and the Weasley clan, but that quickly turned to shit when a group of Death Eaters had viciously attacked and left the games in ruins and fire. Then, Voldemorts death mark had appeared, add that to the TriWizard Tournament with the Drummstrang and Beauxbaton star pupils Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour competing against his friend Cedric Diggory, but things got worse when he found that he was also a champion. Then he and Ron began to fight and no longer spoke to each other. But they reconciled and patched up, but after the first task, Harry was beginning to doubt himself and with the Yule Ball vastly approaching, things got more and more frustrating, since he needed a date.

Harry sighed as he laid on his bed in the Gryffindor dorms, running a hand through his untamed wild raven haired locks. Hedwig flew in and gently perched next to her master, gently nipping his ear with her beak, making him giggle ticklishly, and he smiled at his sweet owl. Petting her head softly and scritches her neck as she leaned in towards him, even though he loved the comfort Hedwig gave him, Harry still sighed in depression as he held his owl close. "I don't know what I'm gonna do now Hedwig, I thought this would be a good year for me, but, now, it just turned into a big pile of hippogriff dung. First the attack at the world cup, now, this. Only thing I'm hoping for, is that I win this tournament and get out of it alive." Harry sighed softly, petting Hedwig some more. He missed his chance with Cho, seeing that she's going out with Cedric, turned out that Hermione was going now Viktor's date and Ron had a date for himself.

Harry gently sat up and pushed his glasses up, adjusting his robes and tie, gently letting Hedwig perch onto his arm. "Maybe a walk will make me feel better, why don't you go out and hunt for a while girl?" He asked his bird who hooted gently. Harry smiled, aside from his friends, he was happy he can also turn to Hedwig for a conversation. He gently lets her fly out of the door and walks out. As he walked he heard a voice he knew well. "Harry! Hey, wait up!" Harry smiled as he turned around to see, the brother of his biggest rival, Draco run to him. This, was Aries Capricorn Malfoy. It still amazed and interested Harry how Aries was even a Malfoy and, how different he was from his brother Draco, along with being of course, a Slytherin. Aries was a 6th year Slytherin, but unlike most Slytherins and Draco who were snooty, bratty, privileged, and just plain annoying, Aries was one of the most easy going and nicest Slytherin's he had ever meet.

Sure Aries had some of that classic Malfoy attitude and of course the sneer, along with a short temper, but that temper only came if Aries was pushed too far, Aries was way different than any Malfoy. He was blonde, but his mop of blonde hair was more of a cowlick and it was more of a mix between dirty blonde and natural blonde. He was more laid-back, carefree, always listening, and an expert at not only potions, but he also was excellent at charms, hexes, spells, hell Aries can learn high level magic! He also knew how to keep Draco in line should his little brother acted up, and Aries took more of his mother Narcissia's side of the family. And surprisingly, he held no prejudice against Muggle-born wizards or half-bloods like his father and Draco did. He had made quick friends with Harry and Hermione, but it did take a while for Ron to get used to him since, he was still a Malfoy, but as time went on, Ron accpeted Aries and they became fast friends, even though Draco highly disapproved of it, but Aries didn't care.

The two friends linked arms and walked together, another thing Draco hated was that Aries became best friends with Harry. It still amazed Harry that even though Aries and Draco love each other as siblings, they didn't see eye-to-eye as Ron's own twin brothers Fred and George did, even though considering the twins were always together, and they agree with pretty much everything they do, but with Draco and Aries, it was like two different people. But, yet, Aries and Draco were siblings, and no matter how many times they argued or disagree, they still love each other. "So, what're you doing walking around these vast halls here Harry?" Aries asked as they walked to the Great Hall to sit down and chat. Harry sighed as he sat next to Aries and laid his head on his arms, "I just needed to clear my head for a little bit. These past few weeks have really been getting to me. I still don't understand why I'm even in this tournament. I never even thought of competing, but it seems like, there's always a plot that comes up and smacks me right in the face. I didn't even write my name in the goblet." Harry sighed, resting his head against Aries' shoulder. The older Malfoy frowned and gently held Harry in a side-hug.

He hated the fact that nothing or no one can give Harry a break. He couldn't blame him, everyone kept referring Harry as the Boy Who Lived, when honestly, Harry just wanted to avoid the fame and just be a normal wizard, living his life and just be himself. But, sometimes, things never go his way. Aries also knew that there was no way Harry could've entered his name in the Goblet of Fire, for all he knew, someone could've done it as sabotage and frame Harry for doing it. But, that didn't matter, he was still glad Harry made it through alive. "Now add to that, I gotta find a date to the Ball, even though everyone's paired up. Leaving me dateless." Harry continued, sounding like he was close to frustrated tears. Aries gently held Harry in his arms and wiped a stray tear from his friends eye and smiled. "Life has a sick sense of humor sometimes Harry, but we learn to live with it, i mean, look at me, I'm a Malfoy, and everyone thinks I'm either gonna be dangerous, or snooty like my dad, when, i'm not. I've learned to deal with it." He said truthfully, Harry smiled, he admired Aries' honesty and another thing about Aries, was that he had no problem speaking his mind or how honest he was someone.

Then, Aries got an idea as his eyes brightened and smiled, turning to Harry with that happy-go-lucky smile of his, "Hey, Harry i'll be your date to the ball." He said, making Harry's eyes widen and blush deeply. Harry didn't admit it, but, when he first met Aries. He had a bit of crush on him, because after all the crap Draco or Snape put him through, Aries was there to back him up or stand up for him. "R-Really Aries? Y-You'll go out with me to the ball?" He asked softly. Aries winked and chuckled, ruffling Harry's hair making the younger boy annoyed but playfully swatted the older Malfoy's hand away making him chuckle. "Are you sure you're a Slytherin?" Harry asked teasingly. This was a joke between the two of them, due to Aries' playful and carefree nature, Harry always jokingly asked Aries if the elder Malfoy was a Slytherin. "Because, you'd make one great Gryffindor or...." He then smirked as Aries narrowed his eyes at him, "Don't say it." He warned. "A....." Harry slowly said, grinning widely.

"Potter I'm warning you." Aries growled. "Hufflepuff!" Harry laughed, making Aries groan and shake his head in complete annoyance and exasperation. "There will be, no way in hell, that I'll ever be, a freaking Hufflepuff." Aries whined. He really hated it that Harry teases him of being a Hufflepuff, but, he knew it was all in good fun. But Aries smirked again, "Scared I might, infest your Gryffindor lions with my sneaky Slytherin charms, Potter?" Aries taunted, making Harry roll his eyes and just smile at the older boy. "You wish, Malfoy." Harry taunted back. The two just laughed and, it didn't take long for Draco to come, swaggering in then he stopped as he passes by his brother and Harry, snorting in annoyance. "Well, well, what do we have here, my older brother walking and talking around with the commoners." He taunted. Aries rolled his eyes and just lazily smirked, he then grabbed Draco and sloppily planted a wet kiss on Draco's cheek, making the younger Malfoy shout in complete disgust and surprise, a nice plant of saliva on his cheek.

"Hello brother dearest." Aries smiled. Draco sneered and wiped his cheek in disgust. As much as he loved his brother, Aries will someday be the death of him and also sometime Aries will make him go crazy. "What do you want Draco, cause now, is not a good time for your usual taunts.." Harry said boredly. Draco huffed and crossed his arms, running a hand through his fair blonde locks to which Aries did the same. It still sometimes amazed Harry how Malfoyish Aries can be without even trying. "Well, Potter, I'm just surprised you're still alive even after that dragon task of yours in this tournament and, the fact you don't have a date to the ball yet. Planning on going solo?" snickered Draco. Aries narrowed his eyes at his brother and slowly rose up. "Actually, little brother, I'm going as Harry's date." He said.

Draco's eyes widen in complete shock, "WHAT?! B-But Aries, he's a Potter! He's our rival!" The younger Malfoy protested. Aries raised his eyebrow and crossed his arms, "Um, correct me if I'm wrong little brother, but Harry is yours and Dad's enemy, not mine. He's my friend." Aries corrected. "And, I didn't become Harry's enemy when he rejected your friendship first year, I became his friend. You became the enemy Draco." Aries reminded. Draco felt his cheeks blush in embarrassment at the correction his brother gave him, if there was one thing that Draco hated, it was being corrected by his older brother. He growled in annoyance and stared at his brother. "You seriously gone mad if you're thinking of being Potters date at the ball! I forbid it!" Draco snarled. Aries smirked and leaned back, flicking Draco on the nose, making his younger brother squeak in surprise. "Ummm, last time I checked, you're not Dad, so sorry Draco. You can't forbid me from going out with Harry." He responded. Draco held his nose and turned to Harry who was laughing at the exchange between the Malfoy siblings. "Then, Potter, i forbid you from going out with Aries!" He snarled. Harry narrowed his eyes and stood up to Draco, "Umm, you're not my master Malfoy, and I'm going with Aries. You can't forbid me Malfoy. So, why don't you mind your business and bring your little blonde arse back to your table?" Harry growled. Draco gasped at the indignant response and huffed, "Wait till Father hears this Aries! You'll be sorry!" He screamed.

Aries chuckled and crossed his arms, "Actually Draco, Daddy Dearest won't be hearing this, Dad's out doing business for the Ministry as of now. And, last I heard from Mom, he's out at Knockturn Alley.." He taunted. Draco snarled and then just walked off in frustration, muttering angrily. "See you at the ball brother dearest!" Aries called. Making Draco growl in annoyance. Both boys just laughed at Draco's expense then sighed in happiness as they walked out and just sat outside of the castle near Hagrid's shack. Harry noticed how the snow and clean air brought out Aries' pale complexion, and some of the snow falling onto his hair almost looked like a halo, the elder Malfoy definitely looked handsome and beautiful. "Aries, I actually accept your proposal, you'll be my date to the ball." Harry smiled. Aries smiled back and hugged Harry tightly, and without thinking, Aries gently kissed Harry's cheek, making the younger boy blush softly. "I'll see you tomorrow Harry, we can practice some dancing and, i'll be making our clothes." Aries winked, happily walking to join his friends. Harry gently touched his cheek and smiled, he definitely was falling hard for the elder Malfoy.

"So, Harry, who do you have for your date?" Hermione asked that night at the Gryffindor common room, where the Golden Trio were studying for a test in their Transfiguration class. Harry blushed and smiled softly but turned to his friends and sighed happily, "Aries." He said. That made Ron's jaw drop and he yelped as he comedically fell off his bed, Hermione gasped happily and held her friends hands. "Oh my god Harry I'm so happy for you! You finally have a date! And it's with Aries!" She said. But, Ron, thought otherwise, coughing awkwardly. "I'm happy for ya mate, but are you sure this is a good idea? I have nothing against the guy but, he is still a Malfoy. What if he tricks you or...or tries to leave you dancing alone?" Ron squeaked.

Harry gave Ron a deadpan look and crossed his arms, "Aries would never do that. Besides, he's a sweet guy. And I don't care if he's a Malfoy. Aries is Aries and that's that. Besides, he stood up for me when Snape and his arrogant brother were putting me down. And, I know I shouldn't admit this but, I gotta say it. Guys, i-I have a crush on Aries." Harry admitted. Both his friends eyes widen in complete shock. "Oh that's so sweet Harry!" Hermione smiled, feeling happy for her friend that he can possibly fall in love with someone as kind and handsome as Aries.

"You sure mate, because, i know we've been around Aries for the last 3 years but, are you sure you're really falling for him?" Ron asked. Harry crossed his arms again and raised his eyebrows in a Malfoy like way, somehow, Aries was rubbing off on him. "Of course i did. I mean, during the whole Heir of Slytherin trouble, he stood up and was there for me. He didn't believe it at all. And, he was there for us when he helped us prove Sirius was innocent. And, he protected me when Remus turned into a werewolf." Harry listed. And, since then, I've fallen for him. When i look at him, I smile and I feel like I get lost in a trance, he makes me...all giddy inside, he makes me happy, and, I don't know, the way he smiles, he talks, everything about Aries is so perfect." Harry sighed, with a thoughtful smile.

Hermione smiled and leaned with her best friend, "You're smitten aren't you?" She asked, and Harry nodded without saying a single word. "Well, why don't you prove your love at the ball? This could be your one chance to prove yourself to be the one for Aries." She said wisely. Harry sighed and leaned back, "I don't know Mione, Aries has had lovers before, and, I really want him to love me. But, there's also the fact who he's related to. If his father or Draco find out we become a couple, I'll never be able to talk to him without Lucius or Draco barging into a room and bothering us." He complained.

"Well that never stopped you from talking to him. Besides, Aries didn't care if his father or brother scolded him for talking to you. And, I can tell he likes you too Harry. The signs were there, the way his eyes shine when he talks to you, the way he always smiles when he sees you, i think Aries maybe crushing on you too Harry." Hermione smiled. Harry felt his heart beat against his chest, now that he thought about it, he did kinda saw that Aries also may feel the same way about him. He also sometimes saw that Aries would turn away with a blush anytime Harry would playfully tease him. "Just consider it Harry, you never know." Hermione smiled, giving Harry a sisterly kiss on his cheek and walked out.

"You really think Aries likes me Ron?" Harry turned to his other best friend, who shrugged but smiled nonetheless. "Maybe, besides, I'm not as perceptive as Ginny or Mione are, but I can tell Aries does seem infatuated with you. Hehe, maybe after you marry you can invite Draco to your honeymoon!" He teased, Harry grew annoyed and smacked Ron in the face with his pillow, making him yelp in surprise. "That's what you get for teasing me. And, besides, i don't think Draco or his parents would ever wanna come to a wedding their elder son would have if he's marrying a Potter." Harry chuckled.

The next few weeks, preparations for the Ball began running like clockwork. Harry and Aries were practicing together as they waltzed in The Great Hall. They were making good progress except for the times Harry had accidentally stepped on Aries' feet a few times. Aries held his arm out and Harry twirled around it and smiled as Aries twirled him back in and dipped him. Then Aries brought Harry close and they carefully moved across the floor. Aries chuckled as they stopped, "Alright, not bad Harry, you're getting it. Hopefully by tomorrow, you'll be all set and ready." Aries praised.

"Thanks Aries, so how our clothes coming?" He asked. Aries sighed and growled, "Not so well. I can't think of anything." Then, he heard Hedwig screech and flying around, Harry smiled as he watches his owl return to the Owlery and Aries smiled, "Hey Harry, has Hedwig been, molting? Growing new feathers?" He asked. Harry nodded and Aries smiled as he took Harry up to the Owlery, delicately picking Hedwigs fallen feathers up and the elder Malfoy smiled, "I think I got the perfect idea for an outfit for you Harry. And, i think we should go together as animals of winter. I'll be a fox and, you can go as a snowy owl, to match Hedwig." Aries smiled. Harry chuckled and blushed, he never actually thought of wearing an outfit that'd make him look like Hedwig, but, it was a great idea nonethless. "That's awesome Aries thanks." He said. But, then, the two lost each other as they stare into each others eyes. Their lips nearing each other until they gasped and blushed softly, laughing nervously.

Aries cleared his throat and scratched the back of his head, "Umm, well, t-that was awkward." He said, gently adjusting his tie. "But anyway, I'm really enjoying spending time with you Harry, and i can't wait for the ball. I really hope it'll be a magical night." Aries said, gently walking out, "Wait Aries." Harry called making the elder Malfoy stop and turn around. "Yeah?" He asked. Harry felt his heart beat excitedly and his adams apple bob in his throat, gulping nervously, "I-I-I love being here with you too." He said, then mentally cursing himself. '_You idiot!' _He thought angrily. Aries smiled softly and hugged Harry gently. "Aww, that means a lot Harry. I love doing this with you too. See you tomorrow?" He asked. Harry didn't speak but nodded weakly. Aries smiled and kissed his cheek, walking away.

Harry groaned and ran a hand through his hair. Why did he look like such an idiot in front of his crush, he was really hoping that tomorrow night at the ball, everything will turn out way better. Cause honestly, it was gonna take a miracle or at least luck for Harry to confess his love to Aries.

The night of The Yule Ball had come. Everyone was in the Great Hall, happily sitting at their tables. Fleur and her date, along with Viktor and Hermione, and Cedric and Cho had made it, but everyone was waiting on Harry and his date. But, then, the wait was over as violins can be heard and everyone turned to the hear music. "And our last couple, Master Harry James Potter...and his date....Master Aries Capricorn Malfoy." Everyone was in shock at hearing Harry picking the elder Malfoy sibling as his date. Snape was outraged and gritting his teeth while Draco seethed in silent rage. The other Slytherins were either shocked, outraged or surprised. While everyone else cheered. The doors soon opened and they were astounded.

Aries soon walked out, wearing an elegantly tailored mahogany and white suit, his fox earrings nicely hanging from his ears, his hair groomed elegantly, a fox mask nicely placed over his eyes and nose, a long red and white thinstriped necktie hanging from his neck with the Malfoy family crest embedded in the center of his tie, and a long orange/white furred cape that went from his shoulders to his ankles. He then smiled as he held his arm out and Harry stepped in. Everyone's jaws dropped, eyes widened, and heads turned at the sight of Harry. He had on a beautiful white suit with a few details of black stitched in, a long white cape with snowy owl feathers beautifully and delicately stitched in, his usual messy wild hair now tamed and groomed nicely, and he surprisingly didn't have his glasses on, instead, he had on a white snowy owl eye mask over his eyes and a crest of white feathers ontop of the mask and a snowy owl necklace hanging on his chest.

Aries and Harry both smiled as they held hands and walked down the aisle. Their capes flowing behind them as they walked, no one spoke a word, as they all clapped at the beautiful sight. All of Harry's friends smiled and cheered for him while Aries' own friends did the same for him. They never had felt more happy then they had ever did before. They gently stepped together and looked at each other through their masks.

The ball was in full swing over the next few hours but, then, it was almost like time stopped for both Harry and Aries. As soon as a slow song came, Harry and Aries nodded together. Draco, Hermione, Ron all watched closely. Draco was sneering and wishing silently his Potter would mess up, and his brother can dump him and pick someone else. While Hermione and Ron were praying for Harry to finally reveal his feelings for Aries. Aries held his hand out and smiled at Harry, who softly blushed and looked up at Aries, "Harry James Potter, would you do the me the honor and dance with me?" Aries asked softly. Draco crossed his fingers and snarled, '_That's it Potter, blush and say no. Aries is way too good for you.' _he thought, but felt his jaw drop and growled as Harry smiled and took Aries' hand. "I'll happily accept that honor, Aries Capricorn Malfoy." Harry said and then Aries gently wrapped his free arm around Harry's waist and brought him close.

No sooner than ever, the two began to dance, swaying and swinging side-to-side as they waltzed across the floor. Their capes billowing and flowing behind them as they moved. They twirled around the floor and stopped as they slowly extend their left legs out, dragging their legs across the floor and turned to the other side, now doing a little bit of a tango. They didn't care if anyone saw them. They didn't care if Draco was sneering at them, they were in their own world. Aries gently dipped Harry and soon, things stopped as the two boys stared at each other, "Aries...I gotta confess something..." Harry said. Aries blushed gently as he held Harry, "I-I gotta admit something to Harry." They slowly brought their lips closer and it didn't take long for them to finally admit it. "I love you." They both said. And, they kissed. Everyone was in awe and shock at seeing the two males kiss. Draco fainted in shock while Hermione and Ron cheered happily, soon everyone else joined, except a few Slytherins.

Aries and Harry were still in their own little world as they kissed. Aries gently gripped Harry's waist and felt his tongue slowly dance and roll around Harry's tongue. Slowly now beginning to make out with each other Harry's arms wrapped around Aries' shoulders, deepening the kiss. But soon enough, they broke for air, panting softly and Harry giggled gently, hugging his new boyfriend tightly. Aries smiled and held his lover in his arms.

At the end of the dance, they joined hands again and bowed for their audience. Aries giggling at Draco's unconscious body and his followers trying to get wake him up and Snape's outraged and ranting words. But, did Aries care, hell no he didn't. It was just him and Harry.

At the end of the ball, the two boyfriends were still dressed as they cuddled up in Aries' dorm in the Slytherin house. "So, you really do love me Harry?" Aries asked, as he pulled his boyfriend to his lap. They also still had their masks on. Because Aries thought they looked more cute with them on. "Yes i do Aries, I really do love you. I mean, i remember the day we first met, at Madame Malkin's for my robe fittings." Harry said. Aries chuckled, he remembered that day well. It was him, Harry and Draco. Well, Draco was the one who first talking about him and Harry being first years together and when Draco began being his usual arrogant self, Aries stepped in and stopped Draco from annoying Harry. That was when Harry started crushing on the elder Malfoy. "You were such a cutie back then and you still are." Aries teased, running his finger against Harry's cheek. Harry blushed and smiled softly when he remembered how Aries said how cute Harry was when they met.

"Yeah, and then, i fell for you. You're such a nice guy, and i began to doubt that we'd even be a couple because of your brother and your father." Harry said softly. Aries held his hand up. "Harry. I don't care what my father or my brother say, I'll gladly love you till the day I die. And, you're one the most bravest boys I've ever meet. You care so much for your friends, Hedwig, and have a good heart, and you don't care what people say about you. You went through hell and back. If your parents were here, i think they'd be proud of you." Aries smiled, Harry felt tears of joy run down his cheeks and kissed his boyfriend again. This time their kiss lasted much longer as Aries ran his hands up and down his lovers back.

Aries was the one to break the kiss and smirk, "As much as this night has been fun, it's not over yet." He said, Harry tilted his head curiously and asked, "Why?" He asked. Aries smiled and grabbed his broomstick, gently taking Harry out. They were soon outside of the castle. Aries gently got on his broom and smiled, "Do you trust me?" He asked, holding his hand out. Harry looked down and then smiled shyly, "Yes.." Then, Harry wrapped his arms around Aries' waist and in an instant, the broom took off and Harry gasped, holding tightly onto Aries who smiled at his boyfriend. Harry then gasped as they were now flying around the castle. This was more fun when Harry was flying around on Buckbeak last year. He then turned to his boyfriend who softly began to sing as they flew above the castle.

Aries: I can show you the world...shining, shimmering, splendid....

They then flew to the top of Hogwarts as they stared up at the softly falling snow and clouds while Aries turned to Harry, singing to him.

Aries: *Tell me prince...now when did you last let your heart decide. *

Aries smiled as he held his arm out and Harry opened his eyes at the beautiful sight of the castle being covered in snow and the snow gently pelting their faces. Now flying away from Hogwarts and around the the Hogwarts train tracks.

Aries : I can open your eyes...take you wonder by wonder..over sideways and under on, a magic broomstick ride! A whole new world.....a new fantastic point of view, no one to tell us no. Or where to go, or say we're only dreaming.....

The two lovers were now around King's Cross and Harry began to sing himself leaving Aries in amazement at his lovers voice.

Harry (Aries): _A whole new world, a dazzling place I never knew. But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear, that now I'm in a whole new world with you... _(now i'm in a whole new world with you...)

Now the lovers were sailing around muggle London and watching everything from their view and smiled as they looked up at the starry night sky.

Harry: Unbelievable sights, indescribable feeling! Soaring tumbling, freewheeling, through an endless diamond sky, a whole new world!

The lovers swirled and twirled around on their ride as they soon began to descend quickly to the water as Harry held his eyes, thinking they were gonna crash.

Aries (Harry): Don't you dare close your eyes... ** _(A hundred thousand things to see...) _ **Hold your breath it gets better!

Harry then smirked as they flew by his filthy muggle house and the Dursely's jaw dropped in complete astoundment and they all fainted as they flew by, but did Harry have any sympathy or did he care, nope, no he didn't.

Harry (Aries): I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far, I can't go back to where I used to be. (A whole new world...) **_Every turn a surprise. _(With new horizons to pursue...) **Every moment red letter!

They were now finishing their journy as they made it back to Hogwarts with Harry gently running his hand through the lake and sang together.

Harry & Aries: I'll chase them anywhere, there's time to spare, let me share this whole new world with you...

They both starred into each others eyes as they were now close to Hogsmead and smiled as they descended.

Aries (Harry): *A whole new world...... * (A whole new world...) _ *That's where we'll be... * _(That's where we'll be...) _ *A thrilling chase.... * _(A wondrous place...)

They both stared into each others eyes and kissed softly, singing one final time.

Aries & Harry: For you and me.......

At the end of their journey, their night was notquite finished yet. They joined one more together, untied their capes, undressed down to their underwear and walked silently walked to Aries' dorm.
