They had managed to not only find the alien, but communicate with them, convincing the 5-story tall, orangish, almost gungan-looking creature to allow them to get footage of the alien chasing them around.

Although he also could not help but get a visual on the blue alien down on his knees before some gungan. it was a thought that seemed to be made of glue because it stuck in his mind and refused to move.
