Meeting Our Dream Girls In Another World
!!!!!!! Oh my god, I still live. Apologies again for the long absence on my behalf. But things are starting to settle down and I'm slowly getting back to working my old brain on stories. I decided to dip my toe into the isaki side this time around as I got my good friend Catstih to lend his OC to this. Forbidden Pleasures is still on as the next part is being worked on. Hopefully you'll like this one as I have great ideas for this. Thanks again for being patient with me and enjoy the story.
“Come on dude, hurry it up already,” the young man said on the couch, his face in the phone as he scrolled up and down on the site he was looking at.
“I'm coming you impatient asshole,” another young man spoke up, sliding his backpack off as he took a seat next opposite of him with a sigh. “So what's the emergency?”
The young man scrolling the phone only grinned before finding what he was looking for and showing it to him.
“Check it out. Got it commissioned last week.”
He took a look at the phone which was enlarged showing a picture of a black cat with a red bandanna laying on a couch with a gray kitsune riding him hard. Both their tongues were open, eyes closed as they seemed to be in the thrones of passion with the kitsunes five tails wrapping possessively around the cat.
“Damn dude, that's nice.”
“I know right. Only costed me eighty dollars,” he smiled taking the phone back.
“I still have my picture being worked on. But I got a wip.”
“Well lets see it.”
The young man nodded before taking out his own phone, scrolling through his emails until he found the one he was looking for.
“Here you go,” he said tossing him the phone.
It was a rough sketch of a wolf taking a sergal from behind, its long tail wrapped around the wolf's back while its head was thrown back, mouth open as sharp teeth could be seen. The wolf's paws were wrapped around the sergal's waist, holding her tight to its body. One clinging to its hips while the other was wrapped around its shaft.
“I don't get your obsession with herms.”
“Nothing wrong with ladies having something extra. Just means more pleasure to give them,” the man grinned.
“Dennis, if you don't get going, you're going to be late for school!!” a lady screamed from upstairs.
Dennis cringed before getting up.
“I'm going already. Come on Paul.”
“Bye Ms. Thompson,” Paul said grabbing his bag.
“Have fun kids.”
They walked down the stairs before onto the sidewalk to school. Dennis and Paul were the best of friends since middle school, almost like brothers. But each of them had different personalities which made them almost a deadly combo when working together.
“What are you doing later today?” Dennis asked.
“I got practice today. You know that,” Paul replied.
“You do nothing but practice man. When are you going to do something else? Like try to enhance your mind.”
“My grades are decent.”
“Yeah right. You are borderline C average. You won't get a job with that average.”
Paul huffed before throwing his hands behind his head.
“Bite me. I don't need a job. I'll just work at the dojo.”
“Yeah I can see it now. A seventy year old man with no college education working at the dojo. You won't get any girls like that.”
“Humph. At least I'm more disciplined then your ass.”
Dennis was going to reply when they both heard the chime for school.
“Crap. We're going to be late.”
They managed to make it to class just before the teacher entered as they hurried to their seats. Classes went by quick as lunch time hit. The cafeteria was packed as kids laughed and joked. They found a seat and took it, eating their lunch with idle chatter before they were joined by two other people.
“You two are always coming in late,” a cute girl said sitting next to Dennis.
“You're going to get in trouble one of these days. And with as bad as your grades are Paul, you can't afford to be late,” another teen said sitting next to him.
“Up yours Will,” Paul huffed.
“You ready for the test Brittany?” Dennis asked, taking a drink of his soda.
“Yeah. But I might need to borrow some of your notes seeing as you take better ones then me,” she blushed a little.
“I got you cutie,” he smiled at her.
Will took a bite of his burger before wiping his mouth.
“I take it you're going to need my notes Paul?”
“Not really. I did my studying.”
Everyone looked at him with wide eyes before laughing.
“You studying? That's like having tacos with no cheese,” Brittany chuckled.
“Screw you guys. I'll show you when I get a better grade then all you fucks,” Paul fumed.
“The day you get better grades then me is the day the school catches fire,” Will laughed.
Paul just grunted again, taking his soda to the head before getting up with his finished lunch and tossing it in the garbage. The bell rang singling the end of lunch as everybody went back to their classes, the day going by quick as it was three in the afternoon meaning the end of the school day. Paul yawned as he reached for his bag by the side of his desk.
“Are you going to come by later with your notes?” Brittany asked Dennis who was stretching.
“Yeah. I'll be there. You want to come along Paul?”
“Can't. Got training to go to,” Paul responded back, putting his books in his bag.
“You know the sports jock still want you on their team,” Will added.
“I'll pass. I don't like meaningless competition.”
They all chuckled before heading out of school along with the rest of the students.
“See you tomorrow Paul,” Brittany said, waving bye to him along with Will and Dennis as they headed towards Brittany's house.
Paul watched them leave before heading to his favorite place in the whole world, his master dojo. A place where he can be happy and do what he does best. He arrived at the wooden gates and slid it open, taking a deep breath as the smell of cheery blossoms filled his nose. The thunk of the bamboo stem hitting the stone echoed through his ears making him sigh happily. Walking up to the front door, he took his shoes off before entering.
“Tadaima,” (I'm home), Paul said.
“Okaeri. Gakko wa dodatta?” (Welcome home. How was school) an elderly man said, sitting on a pillow and drinking some tea as he watched the leaves fall from the tree
“Itsumo no yo ni taikutsudesu. Toreningu ni furutaimu de shuchu dekiru yo, kanryo suru no ga machi kiremasen,” (Boring as usual. Can't wait to be done with it so I can focus full time on training.)
“Wakamono yo, isoide wa ikemasen. Iki rareru no wa ichido dakeda. Soji o shite ressun o hajimete kudasai,” (Don't rush your youth young one. You only get to live it once. Clean up and begin your lesson) his master said with a chuckle.
“Hai,” (Yes) Paul replied as he went to his room.
He tossed his bag down and took a seat, letting out a sigh before starting to take off his school uniform and dawning his training ki. Walking out to training room, he grabbed a wooden sword from the wall and started his practice swings.
///////
“Why do think Paul is like that?” Brittany asked as her, Will, and Dennis were seated around the kitchen table, books open.
“Its just the way he is. Been like that since I've met him,” Dennis shrugged.
“Don't you think its odd though? He cares nothing for school, but yet when you bring up anything that has to do with training, he's like a new person,” Will added.
Dennis shrugged again as he took some more notes, turning pages in his study book.
“That place is like his second home. If he's not with me, he's there.”
“You two are like brothers with very different personalities. No wonder you two get along so well,” Brittany giggled.
If she only knew the truth Dennis thought as he chuckled with her. They studied a bit more, stopping for some snacks before the time got late.
“We'll see you at school tomorrow D,” Will said walking down the stairs with Brittany as they both waved goodbye.
“Later,” Dennis smiled, waving goodbye.
Once they were gone, he let out a sigh before heading back in.
“Are your friends gone already?” his mom asked from the kitchen as the smell of food hit his nose.
“Yeah mom.”
“Well dinner almost ready. Go wash up.”
Dennis nodded his head as he went to his room, grabbing some undergarments. He reached for his phone, typing a message out before dropping it back down and heading to the bathroom to take a shower. Feeling clean and satisfied, he hopped out and dried off before tossing on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. Just before he reached the bottom of the stairs, the doorbell rang as he walked over to open it and saw Paul standing there.
“Jesus dude. Did you run all the way here?”
“Not really. I hiked a ride from the next door neighbor who happened to be coming this way,” Paul replied.
“Well come on in. Dinner's done,” he shrugged.
Paul took off his shoes and walked in to the kitchen as his mom had three plates already out and set with a nice helping of rice, pork-chops, and vegetables. Saying a small prayer, they started to eat.
“How is your training coming along Paul?” his mom asked.
“Very good. My swordsmanship is almost on par with my master,” Paul said proudly.
“But yet your studies are on par with a dunce,” Dennis laughed.
“Up yours. I can beat your ass any day of the week.”
“Boys, boys,” Dennis's mom chuckled, seeing them jab at each other was funny. “But Dennis is right. You really do need to work on your studies if you hope to do anything afterwards.”
Paul sighed before taking his chopsticks and grabbing a mouthful of rice.
“I know. I just don't find school.....fun. Sitting in a desk listening to someone mumble on about this and that can really make you tune out.”
“He's not lying,” Dennis added.
“I know it can be hard. But think of all the possibilities that lay open for you once you finish. You are a bright young man and I can see you doing all kinds of great things.”
Paul blushed a little at that
“Yeah, great things. Like being the only seventy year old in high school,” Dennis laughed.
Paul grunted at that as the mom chuckled to.
“Regardless, I do hope you take your studies a bit more seriously. I really want you to succeed.”
Paul sighed and gave a nod at that as they finished dinner with idly chatter. Once it dinner was over, Dennis's mom started to get dress for her overnight shift at the hospital.
“Don't stay up to late boys. You got school tomorrow. And I won't remind you about being late,” she said, glaring at Dennis.
Once she was gone, they retreated to Dennis's room, Paul taking a seat on the floor as Dennis plopped on the bed.
“Mom really cares about you, you know?” Dennis said.
“I know that. But what I said was true,” Paul huffed out, crossing his arms.
“But yet you have no trouble training all day and probably all night?”
“I find it very relaxing as it sharpens my mind and body,” flexing his arms as Dennis could see the muscle flex and relax.
Dennis shook his head before looking at the ceiling.
“You know what I wish?”
“To be like me?”
“Yeah. Dumb as a box of rocks,” Dennis chuckled as a pillow hit him. “But no. I wish our dream girls were real. I would love to get lost in Nei's tails. I bet they are fluffy like clouds.”
Paul chuckled and closed his eyes, imagining Sylin.
“Might be a good thing. But the bite marks would kill me.”
“Well sergals do bite during their mating. But knowing your muscle mass, it wouldn't affect you probably.”
Paul chuckled at that before laying down on the mattress with a sigh.
“We can only dream about them. And its enough for me.”
“Well I want that dream to come true. She's my dream girl,” Dennis pouted.
“What about Brittany?”
“No thanks. Besides, Will is trying for her also. Better he get her then me.”
It was silent for a bit, the only sounds coming from outside as the nocturnal life was out and about. Paul yawned before turning over on his side, cover on his shoulders.
“The only way that'll happen is if we get teleported from our world to theirs. And last I checked, it only happens in anime. Now go to sleep or your mom will kill you.”
Dennis huffed before looking out the window, the full moon shining bright as it illuminated the room with its glow.
“One can only wish huh?” Dennis said to himself.
He stared at the moon for a few more minutes before his eyes started to close and he drifted off to sleep. The moon started to glow brightly, its beams shining into the window before dying down as two small orbs of light were flying around in the room.
“Are these the ones?”
“They should be. I've been following them for a bit now. And they have those funny images of them with the princesses in such.....compromising states.”
“Dare I ask what kind of states?”
“You don't want to know.”
The orbs floated closer to them both, fluttering around like small flies as Paul huffed and swatted at his ear.
“I really hope you are sure about them.”
“It'll be a dream to them. Or at least to the one called Dennis.”
“Fine. Lets get this over with.”
The orbs floated to the ceiling before starting to spin rapidly in the air, creating two rings of light. The rings descended on them, starting from the head and covering their bodies with a golden glow before they disappeared.
“We better head back with them. I know they'll probably be going crazy at what just happened to them.”
“I'll let you do the talking.”
The orbs of light glowed brightly themselves before vanishing with a slight pop, leaving the room empty.
\\\\
“Dude, wake up!”
“Its to early,” mumbled Paul as he turned in the bed.
“Dude seriously, wake the fuck up. We got a major situation.”
“You probably didn't hear your mom come back from work.”
“Fine. If you don't believe me, get up and look at me.”
“If that's what it takes for you to leave me alone,” Paul said with a growl he didn't notice as he sat up and opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was a cat standing in front of him wearing a simple brown tunic with matching pants, a red bandanna around his neck as its tail twitched behind him in irritation. Paul looked at it some more before yawning.
“Great dream,” he said pulling the covers back over his body.
“It's not a dream dammit,” he hissed, grabbing the covers off Paul's body. “Look at yourself.”
Paul sat up and gasp as he saw paws instead of his feet. Lifting his hands, he saw the blunt claws at the end of his fingers. Reaching up, he felt the muzzle and the wet nose at the end.
“What.....what the hell....”
“I told you we had a situation.”
“What did you do?”
“Me? I went to sleep the same as you. How the hell is this my fault?”
“Cause you're the one who wished we were like this.”
“You think I know magic or something?”
Paul let out a growl as he got out the bed, trying to stabilize himself on his feet, swaying a bit from left to right as he used his tail to the best of his ability. Dennis looked around the room they were in, which was clearly not his. Everything had a past look to it. Kind of like going back in the past and taking all the furniture and using it instead of present day. Despite that, everything seem almost new, no dust was on it and well maintained.
“What the hell is going?” Paul growled, looking around himself.
“You are in Eorsia,” a voice spoke up making them both look around.
A small ball of light appeared from the window, flying in before materializing into a dachshund. It was wearing a simple vest and a pair of shorts.
“Who are you? And why did you turn us into this?” Paul asked angrily.
“Because this is what you wanted is it not?” the dachshund asked, head tilted to the side. “I've seen the weird images you have of the princesses. Normally you both would be executed for such things, but since this isn't your world, you don't have to worry about that now do you?”
Paul and Dennis looked at each other before back at the dachshund.
“So why bring us here?” Dennis asked.
“To make your dream come true. You wanted to meet the princesses did you not?”
“How can we meet royalty?” Paul asked.
“I'll let you figure that out yourselves.”
“Forget it! Send us back.”
“Are you sure?” the dachshund asked. “This is a once in a life time chance.”
“Did I stutter?”
The dachshund looked at Dennis who was looking out the window at the scene below. They were in a thriving town full of animals walking and talking. His tail started to wag a little and a small smile appeared on his muzzle.
“If I have both of your consent, I will send you back at once.”
“You know, since we're already here.....” Dennis started.
“Fuck that dude. I want to go back home!”
“I can only send you back if you both agree. Once you both agree, seek me out. Me and my brethren are not hard to find. Just ask for Castor. Someone will point you in the right direction. In the meantime, enjoy yourselves and indulge in your fantasy,” Castor said with a bow before disappearing in a flash of light.
Paul let out a growl before grabbing Dennis.
“Dude what the hell? I want to go home. Not stay here so you can get your dick wet.”
Dennis let out a growl himself before slapping Paul's hands away.
“Fuck off dude. You think everything's about you. Well what about what I want sometimes? I always go along with whatever you decide. Well now its time to pay me back. I want to at least see Nei in person. Is that so much to fucking ask for?”
Paul looked into Dennis's eyes before letting out a grunt of frustration.
“Fine. You do have a point about me. I'll make a deal with you. We stay as long as needed ONLY to see them. Nothing else. Deal?”
Dennis couldn't help but smile at that and nod his head.
“Deal.”
///////
The medieval town was bustling with activity as people went about their ways. Dennis and Paul walked through the town, taking in everything as their noses took in the varies scents around them. The smell of fresh baked bread along with fruits and vegetables that were being sold on stalls capture some of the town folks as they stopped to purchase the goods.
“I like to watch anime, not be in one,” Paul said as his eyes roamed and took in everything.
“At least in this anime, we'll get the girls at the end,” Dennis smiled.
“Get real. They are royalty. And just look at our clothes, we're peasant people.”
“Always so negative. You need to be more cheerful, you'll live longer,” Dennis replied before his stomach growled. “Man, I haven't eaten anything yet.”
The smell of meat caught both of their noses as they followed it to a stand where a coyote was cooking with a happy wag of its tail. He took slices of meat before skewering them with sticks, sprinkling something on them before placing them over a fire. His ear perked before looking beyond him to see Dennis and Paul.
“Welcome friends!!” he said with a cheerful voice. “Would you care for a stick?”
“We don't have money. Especially for food,” Paul whispered.
Dennis huffed, his stomach growling again as he put his hands in his pocket. He felt something inside as he pulled it out. The coyote's eyes went wide as he saw what Dennis pulled out.
“By the king, where did you get that?”
Dennis looked at it as it looked like a simple dollar coin but it was all gold with the engraving of a clover on both sides.
“I just pulled it out of my pocket. Is it worth anything?”
“Are you kidding? Only royalty carry those. Who are you? Where did you get that?”
Paul looked around through the corner of his eyes as people started to gather around them.
“Dude, we're getting unwanted attention.”
“I agree. Sorry. We need to go,” Dennis said, placing the coin back as they hurried through the crowd.
They found an alleyway and ducked in as a few pursuers rushed passed.
“Well this is a great start,” Paul sneered, leaning on the wall arms crossed.
“Hey, I didn't know okay.”
“I bet it was Castor that planted that.”
As soon as he said that name, a ball of light appeared before dissipating as a dachshund stood there.
“Castor?” Dennis asked.
“No. My name is Hector. I clean up whatever mess he causes. And it appears he caused a good one,” he said, pointing to Dennis's pocket where the coin was. “That coin he gave you is a symbol of royalty that is passed down to the one succeeding the throne. He really fudged things up this time.”
Another ball of light appeared as Castor emerged.
“Dennis, have you found.......”
“This,” Dennis finished pulling out the coin.
“By the king, what a blunder I caused. I meant to give you coin to purchase things.”
Dennis was about to respond when there was loud cheering and clapping.
“What's going on?” Paul asked.
“The visiting king of Soren, Rodel Enzo is here along with the queen, Sophie Trinity, and their daughter Sylin,” Castor replied.
Paul's ears perked at that making Dennis grin.
“Sounds like that perked your interest. Come on, lets see if we can get a good view.”
“Hey wait, what about the coin?” Castor said hurrying after Dennis.
They managed to squeeze their way to the front as an open carriage was being pulled by two majestic white horses, adorned with regal dressings that were gold and red. A large gray sergal was leading the way, a large claymore attached to his back as he wore white gauntlets. Adorn on his body was a gray chain mail vest with matching leggings. It made his appearance even that more intimidating Three more guards followed, two at the side and one in behind each holding a sword in their protectors on their hips.
The carriage held a regal looking red sergal and white sergal. The red sergal wore a blue cape that attached around its neck as he waved to the crowd. He had what appeared to be a silk long sleeve shirt and a blue vest that matched the cape. Next to him was a beautiful, pure white sergal that wore a stunning turquoise blouse along with matching gloves. On top of her head was an equally beautiful gold hairpin.
But then, he saw her. Sitting across from her parents was Sylin, his dream girl. She was wearing what appeared to be a uniform that was blue and yellow. Paul couldn't believe it. It was truly her in the flesh, or fur rather. His tail was wagging happily which whacked Dennis's leg making him chuckle.
“That's her isn't it?” Paul said, never taking his eyes off her as the carriage rode on towards the castle into the background.
“Yes. That is princess Sylin. She's in line for the throne,” Hector added.
“Who are they visiting?” Dennis asked.
“Its princess Nei's birthday today. She is very good friends with princess Sylin as they grew up together,” Castor said.
Dennis's ears perked up hearing that name. Birthday? That means lots of visitors, cake, and presents. Lots of presents. Wait, presents? That gave him an idea.
“We have to get into that castle for that party.”
“Get real. We are nothing compared to royalty,” Paul growled.
“Just follow me back to the place we woke up in. I have an idea.”
///////
With a lot of convincing to both Hector and Castor, he managed to get them to go back to his home and get certain items that would please both the princesses. He gave a small smile as he patted the scrolls in his bag.
“I'm so going to get you for this,” Paul growled lightly.
“Relax dude. My plans always work. Sometimes,” Dennis added with a thumbs up.
Paul thought he was crazy about the plan to get them in. While back at the inn room, Dennis had Hector and Castor explain everything about the world they were in. He learned the world was filled with magic, monsters, dungeons, and all the good things that followed. The neighboring kingdoms of Eorsia and Soren were trying to repel the demon army that were constantly invading. They managed to repel them time after time but they were getting pushed back slowly year after year.
“Explain to me how we are going to get in?” Paul asked.
“Its simple. I'll pretend to be the missing prince of the destroyed kingdom of Alliyrme. Nobody should question it since the prince has been missing after demons destroyed the kingdom.”
“And what is my role in all of this?”
“You are my bodyguard that saved me and looked after me all these years.”
“And we're using our sona names correct?”
“Yes. That way there's no confusion between us,” Dennis added.
Devil let out a huff before adjusting his hakoma outfit which was a mixture of red and black. Hector didn't understand why he wanted that instead of armor and Devil just responded that it helped with movement and air flow. He lifted the hat on his head which covered his face as he looked at the castle that was coming into view. Hector also provided him with all the abilities his sona had, which included the magic and the katana Masamune.
He still couldn't believe it was real as he unsheathed the blade and looked at it as it gleaned in the sunlight. A smile crossed his face as he hurried out the room to try out everything. It took a bit of work to get the magic down right and understand the timing of the cast. But when it came to handling the blade, it was like second nature as he wielded it like it was his second arm.
“By the king, where did you learn to handle a sword like that?” Hector asked as he watched him from the barrel he was sitting on.
“I trained everyday back home. This comes naturally to me. Its the magic that's going to mess me up a bit,” Devil replied, spinning the katana before sheathing it.
“Wow. You would give even the best knight a challenge.”
Devil tapped the handle of Masamune as he looked at Cat.
“Do you actually think this will work?” Cat asked the small light ball which was Castor who was floating around him as they walked towards the castle.
“I gave you all the past and present information on every kingdom, place, and event that happened up until now. I'm surprised you remembered everything I said.”
“Well unlike my friend, I pay attention,” Cat chuckled making Devil growl.
“And in case you get in trouble, I'll stick with you,” the ball of light replied before disappearing into Cat's pocket.
The duo passed the guards stationed at the entrance with no problems luckily. Maybe cause there were to many coming in that they couldn't be bothered to stop and inspect each one. But it wouldn't have mattered if there was any trouble cause guards could be seen all around them. Following the crowd, they arrived at the banquet hall where everyone was gathered and chatting with one another. A giant chandler was on the ceiling as small wires extended from it, each holding small crystal that lite up. Along the walls were banners of the king's symbol which was a kitsune with five tails. Tables full of food lined the walls as Devil's stomach growled as the smell of food hit his nose.
“I'm going to grab some of that buffet food,” he said walking over to the table with a happy wag.
Cat watched him leave with a shake of his head. He looked around some more, taking in everything and making mental notes of certain things and areas. Soon, at the top of the stairs, guards entered from the door along with a hedgehog, dressed in regal clothing that was all red.
“Presenting the king, Alain Josef, the queen, Dinah Ramona, and the princess, Nei Clanstine!!”
From the top of the stairs came down three kitsunes. A red and white kitsune wore the crown and dressed in regal clothing that looked simple but you could tell in an instant that it was made only with the finest silk. His smile captured everyone who all went to one knee and bowed their heads. Next to him with her arm around his own was a pure white and gold kitsune, adorned in a beautiful dress that didn't drag on the ground as she walked along with her husband.
And then, behind them, was the princess, their daughter Nei. Cat watched slacked jaw as she walked down down the stairs, her five tails wagging behind her happily. There was his dream girl in the flesh as she was wearing an elegant yellow dress that made her white fur shine. She was so close, but yet so far away. The king and queen took their seats as he spoke up with a smooth, happy voice.
“Thank you all for coming to this glorious occasion of my daughter's birthday. And also thanks to my good friend, Rodel, the king of Soren for joining us along with his beautiful wife and daughter. So please, everyone, arise and enjoy yourselves!!”
People cheered and clapped before going back to mingling with one another. Alain got up from his seat and was greeted by the sergal as they shook hands and hugged each other before taking seats and talking. The queens also started talking themselves, giggling and smiling. Sylin was with Nei as they chatted away also. Cat saw they were a good distance away from any guards. With shaky steps, he started towards them.
“What do I say? What do I do when I get there?” he kept thinking over and over in his mind.
He was almost to his goal when a panther wearing a gold breastplate with matching gauntlets stopped him.
“Can I help you?” she said in a calm voice
“Oh....um...” he started.
“What business have you with princess Nei?”
“I....just wanted to wish her a happy birthday and a gift.”
“What is your gift? I must inspect it.”
Cat reached down to his satchel for the scrolls, his eyes still locked on the beautiful Nei, that he missed the satchel and instead, reached into his pocket and pulled out the coin.
“Wrong item!” Castor panicked.
The pantheress went for her weapon in a blink of an eye, pointing it at his neck.
“What are you doing with that commoner? And your answer better be good.”
The altercation caused a small crowd to look their way.
“Shit....um...” Cat started, heart thumping in his chest.
Nei and Sylin looked at him quizzically making his heart beat that much faster as he looked into her eyes.
“I'm waiting,” the pantheress growled.
“I'm prince Catstih from the destroyed kingdom of Allyrime.”
Lots of gasps were heard along with murmuring as he looked around. The pantheress wasn't buying it as she snatched him by the collar and dragged him to the king as they both stopped talking. A hard kick behind Cat's knees made him go to the floor as the pantheress's sword was at the back of his neck.
“Your majesty, this commoner claims to be the missing prince of Allyrime. He has the coin in his possession also. Permission to execute him.”
Alain looked at Cat briefly before raising a paw which made the pantheress raise the sword off his neck.
“Are you lying good sir?” Alain spoke calmly.
Cat shook his head.
“I know I may not look the part, but I really am the lost prince.”
By now, the whole party was silent, watching everything that was happening and talking among themselves.
“If you really are who you claim to be good sir, then how did you escape from the onslaught of the attack?”
“It wasn't easy your majesty. Its hard watching as everyone you knew and loved was cut down in front of you, giving you the only chance to make an escape. Friends, family, strangers, all lifeless on the ground as you ran for your life. It took all my willpower not to go back and do something,” Cat said softly, paws balled up in a fist.
Both kings looked at each other before back at him.
“If what you say is true, then how did you survive out there?” Rodel asked him.
“I would surely be dead and with my family if not for my bodyguard who saved me.”
The sergal with the claymore laughed at that before walking forward.
“Get real commoner. You're telling me a single bodyguard kept you safe for all these years?”
“That would be correct.”
“Really? And where is this so called bodyguard of yours? Shouldn't he be by your side at all times?”
Cat lifted his head and looked towards the buffet table where Paul was still munching away but sitting down.
“That's him over there.”
All eyes were on Devil who wasn't even paying attention as he murred in happiness as the food was so good. The sergal laughed even harder at that.
“That puny wolf saved you? Your majesty, forgive me for saying this, but this commoner is no prince. If he has a bodyguard like that, he must've had help from some other army.”
Both kings looked at Cat, before at Devil munching away.
“Bring his bodyguard here,” Alain said.
Devil got tapped on the shoulder as he opened his eyes to see who was bothering him. Looking up, he saw guards standing over him, making him swallow what he had in his mouth.
“What?” he asked.
“The king demands your presence now.”
That made Devil growl a little. Did Catsith fuck up? He knew this was a bad idea as he stood up, cleaning his paws with a towel before walking over. Approaching, he saw Cat on both knees, a pantheress to his right with its sword drawn and that tall sergal guard in front of what he would guess are the kings. He went to both knees before bowing his head.
“Your majesty, you called for me?” Devil asked, glaring daggers at Catsith who gave a weak smile.
“Yes I did,” Alain replied. “Is it true you kept this person who calls himself prince from being killed during the fall of Alliyrme?”
“Yes your majesty. I happened to be in the vicinity at the time and saw him being chased by demons which I dispatched before leading him out of the kingdom.”
“No offense good sir, but you look rather.....weak,” Rodel spoke up, rubbing his chin.
Before Devil could reply, Catsith spoke up quickly.
“Trust me your majesty, he is quite the opposite. In fact, I bet he could take on your strongest knight and win.”
Lots of chatter was heard as Devil looked at Catsith with a look of pure anger. Cat gave him a thumbs up sign with a smile before speaking up.
“And if he doesn't win, it'll prove that my claims about being a prince was wrong. But if he does win, my claim is right and I expect an apology from your guard here,” he said looking at the pantheress.
“Oh please let me have at this wolf. I'll break him in two,” the tall sergal laughed.
Alain and Rodel looked at each before back at Catsith.
“Very well, since we cannot prove that you are truly who you say are. Your words do speak with conviction and honor. Everyone, please make room for this sparring match,” Alain spoke.
A large circle was made in the middle of the banquet room as the sergal took front and center. Devil was snarling angry as Cat walked besides him, ears folded.
“I fucking hate you for this,” Devil said angrily, taking off his hat and shoving it into Cat's chest making him stumble back a little.
He walked out into the circle as the sergal stood tall and confident.
“So puny wolf, what is your name?”
“Devil. Nagasumi Devil. And you?”
“Rolf. Rolf Steinbach. How do you wish your defeat to be?”
“No weapons.”
Rolf grinned at that as he unhooked the claymore from his back and tossed it aside as it clanked loudly on the floor. Devil grabbed his katana and laid it gently on the ground. Alain stood up as the crowd went silent.
“May you both fight with honor and dignity. Begin!!”
Devil didn't have time to react as Rolf flew at him with speed that unmatched his size, that large fist grazing his face as he barely managed to dodge it in time. Rolf didn't give him a chance to recovery as he went on the vicious attack. Even Catstih had to cringe watching as Rolf connected with some painful blows.
“Looks like your bodyguard is a joke,” the pantheress said with a laugh as she watched.
It seemed like the whole crowd was doing some laughing and pointing at him making him grit his teeth. Devil was breathing hard before crossing his arms, a strong kick sending him flying into the crowd which evaded quickly as the table broke Devil's fall making him grunt. Rolf laughed before raising his arms in victory as everyone clapped and cheered. Cat ran over to Devil who was getting up slowly, a trail of blood coming out the side of his muzzle.
“Devil what are doing? You're making me look bad.”
This pissed Devil off as he grabbed Cat by the neck and squeezed hard making him gag a bit.
“Oh I'm sorry. Maybe you want a sergal footprint on your chest instead of me you fucking asshole. You got me into this.”
“I'm sorry man. But it was the only thing I could think of to get out of the jam I was presented with. It was either this, or have my head taken off by that guard.”
Devil got to one knee, rubbing his chest as he stared daggers at Rolf who just grinned, arms crossed over his chest.
“I do this for you, you're doing my homework for a month.”
“A month? Jesus dude come on. That's not fair,” Cat said with a whine.
“Neither is this.”
Cat let out a sigh of defeat before nodding.
“Alright, you win.”
“Swear on it.”
“Dude.....”
“Do it!”
Cat balled his fists before huffing.
“I swear that I will do your homework for a month.”
Devil grinned before he stood up along with Cat.
“Can you beat him?” Cat asked.
“Look who you're talking to,” Devil grinned before walking to the center.
Cat smiled before walking back over to the pantheress.
“Did you tell him to give up?”
“Nope. Just watch.”
Rolf watched as Devil walked near him before smiling.
“Do you actually think you have a chance against me?”
“I do. Sorry I wasn't taking you seriously. But I'll change that,” Devil said calmly, sliding the hakoma off his shoulder and tying the sleeve around his waist. He started to stretch his body out, making everyone chuckle at his antics, even Rolf.
“You weren't taking me seriously? Am I supposed to be scared hearing that?”
“Be what you want,” Devil said, doing the last of his stretches before taking a stance.
The pantheress went quiet, seeing the way Devil stood and the look in his eyes made her tail twitch.
“His stance shows no kind of opening or weakness. And those eyes are those of a hardened warrior. Who is this wolf?” she said to herself.
Rolf let out a growl before taking off towards Devil again. This time, Devil wasn't fazed as he stood there, closing his eyes slowly. Rolf took advantage of that and threw that heavy fist forward. Devil reacted differently this time, catching that hard blow inches from his chest. Still in motion, he used the force of movement Rolf added from the blow and pulled him closer, driving his elbow into that hard chest along with several body blows that made Rolf back up a little.
“You got lucky wolf. But can you get lucky twice?”
Rolf ran at him again, this time instead of trying the punch, he went for kick. But it ended up being the same result, but this time Devil pulled him forward, causing him to do a split which was painful to look at before driving his foot into his chest making him slide backwards a little.
“I will not lose to someone like you!” Rolf growled angrily.
Devil said nothing as he stood there, but he did smile which made Rolf see red. Blinded in rage, Rolf threw himself at Devil who parried and countered his blows with ease, eyes still closed as his body moved on autopilot. The crowd went quiet, seeing Rolf get staggered with each blow to his body. Rolf was breathing hard, signs of bruises appearing on his chest. This wolf was not going to get the better of him.
“I'm going to end this with one blow.”
He reared his fist back as it started to glow lightly, focusing all his power into it. With a growl, he launched himself towards Devil, rage in his eyes looking to destroy this wolf. Devil felt him coming as he opened his eyes and ran towards him. They met half way in the middle, Rolf's fist coming down onto Devil as the building shook a little and dust covered where his fist struck.
“Ha. Hit him so hard there's nothing left of him,” Rolf said with a laugh.
“Rolf above you!” the pantheress said.
Rolf looked up seeing Devil in the air coming down at him. He didn't have time to react Devil came down onto him, his fist connecting with his head and driving him into the ground. Rolf laid there, unmoving as Devil let out a sigh before getting to his feet and doing a bow of respect. He walked over and picked up his weapon before heading towards the kings and going to one knee.
“Is that satisfactory to you your majesty?” Devil asked.
Alain and Rodel were silent, eyes looking at the unmoving Rolf before back to Devil.
“Is.....he dead?” Rodel asked.
Devil shook his head.
“I don't kill without reason. My master taught me that. But he will have one major headache when he wakes up,” Devil smiled.
Cat pumped his fist before composing himself as he went to one knee himself.
“I trust this proves my claim?”
Alain was quiet before nodding his head.
“Your claim is valid prince Catstih. Please forgive me for doubting you. Grace, apologize to the prince.”
Grace let out a humph before sheathing her sword and bowing to Cat.
“Forgive me prince for doubting you.”
“All is forgiving. Now, I believe there is a party still going on,” Catstih smiled.
Everyone stood still for a few more moments before resuming the party as if nothing happened. Rolf was helped off the floor and carried away to rest. Devil let out a huff before standing up and heading towards the exit before he spotted the balcony and went outside. The sun was almost setting as he took in a few breaths of air, his nose picking up all the scents all around him. He rubbed his chest a little, feeling the bruise that was forming and grunted.
“Great first impression,” he said with a chuckle.
“That was pretty impressive what you did to Rolf,” a voice said behind him.
His ears perked up before turning around and sucking in a breath. There before him was his dream girl, Sylin, in the flesh. His heart started to beat a bit quicker as she walked forward before leaning on the balcony herself and turning her head towards him.
“I never seen anyone get the better of Rolf like that.”
“Um......it wasn't that hard. People like him are easy to read,” Devil replied.
She chuckled at that before her eyes scanned him up and down making his tail twitch
“So where do you hail from? I never seen anyone like you or your clothes.”
“I'm a wanderer. I like to travel and see the sights. Or what's left of them.”
“A shame you didn't visit our kingdom. You might've been my personal guard instead of Rolf.”
Devil smiled at before looking back at the scenery.
“If only,” he replied.
“We leave the day after tomorrow. I hope you come visit.”
He was about to reply when he tensed up and looked behind him. His hackles raised slightly as he felt something strange that made his senses scream out.
“Is there something wrong?” Sylin asked.
“Its nothing. Go and enjoy the party. I prefer being away from the crowd. Plus my chest is still a bit tender,” he chuckled, rubbing his chest.
Sylin looked at him before smiling with a giggle.
“Of course. I hope we can speak again.”
“Oh we will,” Devil smiled before bowing his head.
She smiled before heading back inside, his eyes locked on that body that swayed back and forth making him give a soft growl.
“Damn, so much better in person. And her scent, so alluring.”
He let out a sigh before leaning on the rail, eyes looking at the setting sun. Catstih smiled as he looked at Grace.
“Your bodyguard is very interesting.”
“I know. I'm grateful for his services. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a gift for the princess.”
He walked past her, hearing her growl lightly making him smile.
“Devil really is a strong fighter,” Castor said.
“All he does is train everyday. I'm not surprised,” Cat replied as he saw Nei sipping some drink. “There she is. Damn, she is just so perfect.”
He took a deep breath before approaching her as she looked at him with a smile.
“Hello prince Catsith,” she said with a smile, his heart beating fast.
“Good.....evening to you princess Nei,” he said, bowing his head. “And please, call me Cat. I hope your birthday is going good?”
“Oh it is! I'm always happy to see the smiling faces of the people. It brings me great joy.”
“I bet it does. Hopefully my gift brings you even more joy,” he says, reaching for the scrolls and handing them to her.
She accepted before looking at them.
“What are they?”
“Something I managed to have made by the finest artist available. Open them in the privacy of your room. I'm glad I'm able to give them to you in person. Your beauty doesn't compare to the rumors I heard.”
She blushed hearing that before giggling, covering her muzzle as he tail wagged.
“Thank you Cat. Though I'm sorry about your family and kingdom.”
Cat played the part and looked down before shaking his head.
“I'm alive. And that's all that matters. As long as I'm alive, the kingdom stays alive with me.”
“Of course! Would you care to join me?” she asked, motioning to the empty seat.
“Thank you.”
He took a seat as she motioned to a guard for another glass. The guard brought it over as Cat gave a thanks.
“Here's to a prosperous future,” Cat smiled.
“A prosperous future.”
They touched glasses and were about to take a sip when a flash of dark light came from the middle of the room making everyone scream and scramble away. When the light dissipated, a cloaked figured stood there before letting out a sigh.
“So, this is the kingdom of Eorsia,” a deep voice said.
“Who are you and why have you come?” Alain said as guards flooded the room and surrounded the figure.
The cloak around its body disappeared showing a Siberian tiger in an all black attire with a wicked scimitar at its side. The tiger's eyes opened, holding a dark yellow color before locking on the kings as it gave a wicked smile.
“My name is Luther. And I come bearing a message from my lord.”
“Who?”
“The demon king, Belisus.”
Everyone gasped at that as the guards gripped the handles of their weapons.
“And what message is that?” Rodel asked.
“Surrender and you will not be destroyed.”
“Not going to happen.”
Luther chuckled at that.
“He figured you would say that. So he came up with another choice.”
“And that is?” Alain asked.
“You and the king of Soren hand over your daughters for his harem.”
“FUCK THAT!!!” Cat spoke up making everyone look at him.
“And who are you?” Luther asked.
“None of your concern.”
Luther's eyes narrowed before letting out a growl.
“What's stopping me from taking them right here, right now?”
Grace drew her sword quickly and stood in front.
“Me. You will not come near the princess so long as I draw breath.”
“Are you sure about that? I've heard that numerous times from people like you.”
She let out a growl, gripping her sword with both hands as the blade glowed with a brilliant blue light. Bending her knees, she took off towards Luther who stood there unfazed. Planting her feet, she took a mighty swing, looking to cut him in half. Just before it got close, Luther raised a paw before catching the blade with two fingers.
“Impossible!!” Grace gasped.
“What? Me catching your attack? Not really. But can you catch mine?”
His fist flew into her midsection, sending her sliding across the floor before stopping near the kings. She weakly, shakily, got to her feet before going to both knees coughing up blood.
“All that talk and you're this weak. So sad.”
“That was my strongest attack and he caught it like it was nothing. Everyone, get ready to get the princesses out of here,” Grace coughed.
“I'll say it again, surrender your kingdoms, or give me the princesses.”
The guards were shaking as they surrounded both Nei and Sylin.
“I'll give you to the count of three. One. Two.”
“Three,” a voice said in the background.
Luther looked towards the voice as the crowd made room for Devil who walked out.
“And you are?”
“A wanderer.”
“And what do you think you can do?”
Devil smiled before tapping his katana Masamune.
“First, how about a deal?”
“I'm listening.”
“If I manage to hit you, you leave.”
“And if you don't?”
“You can have the princesses.”
Everyone gasped again as both Rodel and Alain were going to protest when Catsith approached them.
“Trust him you majesties.”
“This is my daughter he's betting on. I won't allow it,” Rodel growled.
“I know you just met me my lords and my words mean little to nothing when it comes to the safety of your daughter's and kingdoms, but please, trust Devil,” Cat said, determination in his eyes.
They both looked at him before each other.
“May the gods have mercy on your soul if he fails,” Alain growled.
Cat smiled at that before nodding, turning his attention back to Devil and Luther.
“So wolf, you think you can do better then her?”
Devil smiled before nodding his head.
“I believe so.”
Luther crossed his arms across his chest before sighing.
“Very well. I'll give you your one shot.”
Devil's smiled faded, eyes narrowing. He placed a paw on the handle of Masamune, twisting his body and preparing his attacking. He did this plenty of times with a kendo stick back home with falling leaves. Why can't the same basic be applied here? I just have to follow my master's teachings.
“Ha wa anata no karda no enchodesu. Shuchu sureba suru hodo,-ryoku wa a mashimasu. Soshite sono chikara ga areba, ugokazu ni me no mae ni aru mono o nandemo kiru koto ga dekimasu.” (The blade is an extension of your body. The more focus you put into it, the more power you will have. And with that power, you can cut anything in front of you without moving.)
Devil closed his eyes, focusing on his power as he started to glow faintly. Everyone watched with baited breath for the next move.
“I'm waiting,” Luther said with an impatient tone.
Devil gripped the handle tightly, feeling that power well inside both him and the blade. And then it happened, he drew his blade and slashed the air as a gust of wind passed by Luther. Devil let out a breath before spinning his blade and sheathing it slowly.
“Is that it? A gust of wind from your blade?”
“Wait for it,” Devil smiled, fully sheathing his blade.
And when he did, a cut appeared on Luther's face. His eyes looked down at his cheek, collecting some of the blood as he stared at it before balling his fists, his body emitting a dark purple aura.
“You.....you....insolent cur. How dare you cut my beautiful face. I'll make you suffer!”
He reached for his weapon but stopped as he looked up, apparently having a telepathic conversation as he spoke out to no one.
“But my lord, he made a fool of me. I won't stand for it. But my lord? Tch. I understand and shall do your bidding.”
He directed his eyes towards Devil and snarled evilly.
“This ain't over wolf. I will skin you alive for this transgression. Mark my words.”
He disappeared in that same flash of dark light leaving everyone speechless.
“Guards, search the grounds! Make sure he is totally gone from the castle grounds!” Alain spoke up making the guards scramble outside.
Devil stood there before letting out a sigh.
“Its starting to get late. I'm going to head back to the inn.”
“Wait sir Nagasumi Devil,” Alain said making Devil stop and turn around.
“Yes your majesty?”
“I want to thank you for what you did. If it wasn't for you, I shudder to think what that thing would've done to Nei. As a token of my appreciation, would you like to spend the night in the castle?”
Before Devil could answer, Cat spoke up.
“Of course we would! It would be an honor your majesty.”
“Excellent! Guards, show the young prince and his guard to their rooms. Also, help Grace to the healer.”
The guard lead them both down the hall as they looked around at the fine decor and design of the castle.
“Boy, Mr. Grayson would have a field day looking this castle over,” Cat said.
“No kidding.”
They got lead to a room as the guard opened the door. Inside was a deluxe room with two beds, a dresser with a large mirror on it, a table in the corner that had a large plate of fruit on it, two large windows that displayed the night sky as well as banners along the wall.
“Here is your quarters young prince. I hope you find it to your liking?”
“Wow, this place is off the chain,” Cat said looking at everything.
“Off the chain young prince?” the guard said scratching his head.
“It means its perfect.”
“Thank you young prince. If you need anything, a guard will be posted by your door. Please sleep well. And thank you sir Nagasumi Devil,” the guard said before bowing and taking his leave.
Cat walked over and sat on the bed, the comfort making him sigh.
“Man, what a day huh?”
“At least you had it easy,” Devil snorted back, grabbing a piece of fruit before laying down on the other bed.
“I said I was sorry. Man, you hold a grudge don't you? But on the bright side, we both got to see our dream girls.”
Castor appeared on the table as he grabbed a piece of fruit himself.
“I must Nagasumi Devil, you are an exceptional blade user. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the aristocrats here wouldn't be banging on the door to acquire your services.”
“Its all thanks to my teachings. I owe my master everything,” Devil said proudly. “But I still have more to learn. Much more.”
“I'm sure there are plenty of teachers around here that would love to train you.”
“Maybe. But nobody will ever replace my master.”
Cat looked at Devil before out the window, the moon starting to shine brightly in the night sky as the stars dotted the blanket of black like freckles.
“Guess I should thank you Castor for making my dream come true. And also you Devil for going along with it. I'm sorry for acting selfish. But.....I just wanted to see Nei.”
Devil was quiet as he tossed the core of the fruit he was eating into the small barrel.
“Its all good. And besides, I don't have to worry about homework for a month.”
“Asshole.”
Cat laid down, the excitement of the day winding down as his body relaxed.
“Oh well, tomorrow's another day. Wonder what's going to be in store for us?”
“Don't know. But one things for sure.”
“What's that?”
“I pissed that tiger dude off.”
Cat laughed at that.
“You do have a way of getting on people's nerves sometimes.”
“Fuck you.”
They both shared a laugh before going quiet.
“But I do hope I didn't cause anything major with what I did,” Devil said, a bit of worry in his voice.
“Whatever happens, we'll deal with it together. Right?” Cat replied.
“Right,” Devil smiled before letting out a yawn as he closed his eyes, sleep hitting him almost instantly.

“But my lord, he sullied my pride. I won't rest until his body is broken and bleeding in front of my feet,” Luther snarled angrily, his cheek still bleeding a little.
“All in due time,” Belisus said, sitting on a throne that had its back turned to Luther.
“That wolf......I'll rip off his arms and shove them down his throat.”
A kobold hurried in before going to one knee in a bow.
“My lord, the army is ready to attack at a moment notice.”
“Excellent. We'll strike tomorrow. I'll show them what it means to defy me.”
