Ray woke early, the sunshine peeking through a crack in the curtains, striking him right in the eye. Squinting at the brightness, he turned his head to look at the face of his sleeping wife and smiled. She looked so peaceful that he couldn't help himself. Leaning carefully over, Ray breathed in her scent, loving it as much as the breath of life itself. He softly placed a kiss on her cheek, her fur tickling his lips as it always did.

While he would have been content to just lay there and watch her sleep, he had plans for this day. Getting out of bed gently, so as not to wake her, Ray quietly gathered up his clothes and went to the bathroom to get dressed.

It was Saturday so neither of them had to go to work and Ray thought that a day together was just what they needed. Leaving a note saying that he would be back soon, he went out to his Golf and drove to the Babies-R-Us outlet and picked up the stroller for three; he knew they were needing, for their new babies. Getting an additional baby seat for their surprise third child, Ray felt ready for taking the babies out. Safety first, he would not take a chance of not having what his children needed to be taken care of. A second stop at a local deli, he got a picnic lunch for four, with all the special delights that he knew Tina was fond of. With a final stop at the bakery for some Danish and sweetrolls, he felt he was prepared and headed back home.

Bringing the food in, he was met by Georgette. She helped him put it in the refrigerator as she asked,"What is all this for? We have plenty of food already and I was going to make breakfast." Ray smiled and kissed her cheek, then exclaimed,"Breakfast would be great but you know how Tina loves a little bit of sweet treats. I wanted to surprise her so I got some goodies to go with what you make. The rest of it is for lunch that I hope you will share with us, at the park!"

Georgette looked surprised and said,"The park? But, but I . . ." Ray took her hand and said,"I thought we could all share a nice day with the babies and a little sunshine, fresh air and a little time to relax. It won't be all day so you can still visit Stan and the sun will be good for the little ones. Please come with us Georgette? You have been helping us and worrying about Stan so much that a little time off will do you some good. I already have enough food for us. The only thing we will need is some formula for the babies, some diapers and blankies for them and us and we will be all set! I really would like for you to come? Besides, I want to show off our children to the world! It gives me the chance to be the proud papa and I think that having Tina hear the adoring comments from the other people will do her good as well. Please come with us?"

Georgette gave a smile and patted his cheek, then said,"All right, I'll come. Ray? You know I was not very happy at first about you dating Tina and I didn't treat you very nicely. Since then, I have seen the way you treat my daughter with such respect and love, the obvious love she has for you and even the way you have tried to welcome me into your lives. Now with the way you have blessed me with grandchildren, who you so much want and love . . . I want to apologize to you for my prior behavior. You are a good man and I am proud that you are my son-in-law."

Ray smiled with a little tear in his eye, upon hearing that. Opening his arms and looking for permission, which he got, he put them around her and gave her a hug as he said in a choked voice,"Thank you Georgette, that means alot to me and I promise to always love and protect them all."

From the kitchen doorway they both heard,"And just what is going on here? Who is putting the moves on who?"Both looked up in surprise to see Tina grinning at them, kidding both her husband and her mother about the way she had found them in each others arms. Walking over to them, she said teasingly,"I feel left out and think I want a hug from both of you." Separating slightly, they welcomed her into what became a three-way hug and all of them laughed at the joke. After a kiss for Ray, Tina looked at her mother and said,"I heard the last part and I am so happy that you feel that way. It hurt to think that you disapproved of us, mama."

Georgette looked into Tina's eyes, then rubbed her muzzle against her daughter's and said," You have never disappointed me dear. It was my prejudice that caused the problem, not anything you did." Ray tried to pull back, so as to let them have this moment but Georgette held onto him. Looking over to him she said,"And just where do you think you are going? You are now a part of our family and will never be intruding on us. It is because of you, that I was able to let my daughter know that I love her and am proud of her. "

Ray got a little misty-eyed at this and said, "Thank you Mama G. I think that calls for something special." He leaned down to place a soft kiss on top of her muzzle, then said,"I hope I never do anything to make you regret that." Tina grinned, her tail wagging in happiness as she said,"Could this day be any better?"

Ray smiled and reaching for the bakery box, he held it above Tina's head where her upturned nose smelled the treats within. He held it higher, out of her reaching hands and said teasingly, "I think I have a few ideas about that. Down girl! SIT . . . at the table please?"

Both Tina and her mother caught the implied tease and as Georgette tried to hide her smile, Tina put her fists of her hips and acted indignant as she said,"Down girl? Sit? . . . I ought to bite you!" All three laughed and Ray said lovingly,"Later dear, I will take you up on that offer but for now, lets have breakfast. After that, I want us all to go to the park where I can show off our beautiful children and we can have a little relaxing picnic. The day is much too nice to just stay inside and the sun will be good for our children."

Georgette made eggs and bacon, coffee and juice, as well as served the fresh pastries Ray had brought home, fueling them for the day ahead. Ray took Tina into the shower to pamper her a bit. Standing behind her as he scrubbed shampoo into her fur, his arms slipped around his wife's waist in a gentle caress and he pressed up against her. While rubbing her belly, he nuzzled her neck and kissed it. Tina tried to push his hands away as she protested,"Don't, I feel fat."

Ray kept his hands in place and told her,"You are NOT fat! I told you that you are just right, for me." She tried to deny that, softly murmuring,"But I still have more weight than I did before getting pregnant."

Ray softly chuckled at her and told her,"You just had three babies, dear. You don't look fat at all, you look like a mature bitch. softly rounded and padded in all the right ways a mother should be." He gently pressed his erection against her backside as he continued,"You can feel how sexy I think you look, my love. You just gave me three lovely, perfect children and I love you so much for it that I can hardly contain myself. I want the world to know how proud I am of you and them. I want the world to see my beautiful wife and our children. They should all see what a perfect mate I have. This tummy carried the results of our love and you should be proud of it, as I am. Motherhood becomes you, love. Wear the decorations of it proudly and show the world my dear, beautiful, loving wife.

Tina melted against him, sighing,"oh Ray, you always know just what to say and do, to make me feel better. Show me? Here and now?" She raised her tail and rubbed her rear against his erection to demonstrate just how she wanted it. Reaching for a bottle of baby oil that she used on her hand and foot pads to keep them soft, Ray put some on his finger. Directing her to lean against the shower wall, he slipped the finger under her raised tail. Rubbing the oil over the wrinkled bud, he told her," Lucky for you, we have the baby oil available. Soap is slippery but it can cause irritation. This will feel much better for you."

Tina moaned back,"That feels so nice and exciting too! Oh Ray, I love how you play with my tailhole. Almost as much as when you tease my kitty. Please, don't tease me for too long?" Putting a little more on his finger, Ray gently slid it inside as he told her,"Just a little more, princess. I want to be sure you are well lubricated back here, before I replace my finger with something a bit bigger. I won't chance hurting you, love." Sure she was taken care of, he poured some on his ready penis. Grasping the base, he rubbed the head against her waiting pucker and said,"If I wait much longer, I might end up covering your sexy bunns. Here it comes!"

After carefully washing each other, he helped dry and brush her curly fur to a soft and shiny coat of lovely perfection. They emerged from their bedroom comfortably attired for the warm day and found Georgette and the three babies ready too. Georgette had years of experience taking care of little ones so she knew just what was needed and how to do it most efficiently. They loaded up the food, baby supplies and blankets into the Scion, then strapped the baby car seats in correctly, followed by the babies into those seats. Georgette rode in the back, to keep an eye on her grandbabies, while Ray and Tina got in front and belted up.

The drive to the park was uneventful. After parking in the shade of a tree, to keep the car cool, the babies were placed into their new stroller. Ray took care of carrying the bulk of the food and supplies with Georgette's help and Tina took charge of the stroller and its precious contents. Not too far away, there was a perfect spot, under a tall old tree. The shaded area had thick soft grass and in a short time, blankets for the three adults and the food, as well as ones for the three babies were set out. It was still early enough that the park was not crowded but there were a mixture of human and hybrids walking, playing and otherwise enjoying themselves.

Watching their babies look around, their noses sniffing at all the new scents, Ray felt wonder and contentment. Once again he silently thanked God for his blessings and asked aloud,"I can see why you would make such absolutely beautiful children, my love but how could I be so blessed with them and you? Look how alert they are! Human children are not as aware of things, at so young an age."

Tina watched her babies, happy with them and with how Ray was acting towards them and herself. She said back,"It is just one of the advantages of being a hybrid. We have our disadvantages too, like feeling our instincts more strongly. You know, like how my heat affects me?" Ray chuckled and said,"Yes, I remember but I would hardly think of that as a disadvantage. At least on my part." She laughed and lightly punched his arm as she said,"You male, you. I bet you did not mind THAT! I just meant that neither is more or less advantaged, just different."

Ray looked at her and said firmly,"But for all those differences, we are still so much the same. Different but equal in our desires for a happy life, friends, a loving mate and healthy, happy children. Why some humans and some hybrids think that they are or should be superior to the other, is just something I don't understand. We are ALL, children of God, are we not? We should all love and take care of each other, as we would have others treat us in return. It is better now, than it was in the past. With luck and His guidance, it will get better for our children and theirs' in turn."

Tina agreed with him, Georgette silently praying that it would be so. She had experienced a time when the hybrid types had been treated as less than equals. She knew that Ray was a good man, from the way he treated her and her daughter. Hearing him say those words warmed her heart towards the human even more. She felt ashamed that she had treated him badly at first, resolving to try and never do it to anyone else, before giving them the chance to prove themselves first.

Pulling out a Frisbee, Ray said,"Feel like a little exercise, before we eat?" Tina jumped up and eagerly pulled him to his feet as she exclaimed,"Yes! I love Frisbee! Make any jokes about all dogs love chasing a Frisbee though and I will knock you over and jump on you!" Ray laughed and held his hands up as he denied ever having such a thought. Georgette had to smile, enjoying the joke as well. She said she would sit and keep an eye on the babies while they had their fun.

The two spent an energetic half hour, running and throwing the plastic disk back and forth, before returning and sitting down to cool off and get their breath back. After enjoying the food and the company, they were reclining to rest. They began to be approached by other park goers began to approach, curious to see the babies. As he had planned and wanted it to happen, the admiring comments of how cute the babies were, made them all feel proud and good. The only thing to mar the whole afternoon was one old couple towards the end of the day. Seeing them walk by, Ray expected the usual smiles and ooohing over the darling babies but such was not what they received.

Looking down, the elderly woman frowned, then snorted contemptuously. Her husband looked at Ray and said nastily,"Little mongrels. How could you pollute your genes by breeding with an animal?" Ray's mouth dropped open in shock, then he growled in anger, as Tina and Georgette positively bristled at them. He jumped up and yelled,"It is people like you, that allowed the Nazis to kill my kind! If anyone deserves to be hated and exterminated, it is you and those who think like you! Get away from us before I forget that I am better than you and treat you as you would treat others!" The couple looked shocked that he would say something like that to them but hurriedly walked away.

Tina put her hand on Ray's arm to hold him back, feeling the tension in his muscles, so angry was he. She said softly, "Ray? Calm down dear. I am grateful that you want to protect us but they are just a couple of old, embittered and nasty people. They could not cause us harm and even mama or I could defend ourselves and the babies against them. Please? You are beginning to frighten me."

He ground his teeth in anger, then looked at her wide eyes and took a deep breath. Letting the tension drain out with the exhaling air, he dropped his head sadly and said,"I am so sorry that you had to hear that, in this day and age. I did not think we would meet that sort of thing here." With tears in his eyes he added, "They had no right to say that to you and me. It hurts that you had to hear it and I am so sorry that you did,Tina." She held him and patted his back comfortingly as she said softly,"It was not your fault and I love you even more for standing up to them for us. You are a good man and I forgot that as a person of the Jewish race, you have experienced bigotry and persecution, just as hybrids have. We can and will speak against such, even defend ourselves from it but we can't let it take over our lives. This is a better world and we will help to make it better for all the world's children, not just our own. Now smile and give me a kiss. My knight in shining armor has successfully defended his princess, and she is very pleased with you"

Ray gave a half sob, half laugh and kissed his wife, long and hard. "Here I came to help you feel better about yourself and our children . . . and you end up helping me even more. I love you Tina Goldstein." She smiled and answered,"And I love you, Ray Goldstein! Now, let us go home, where I can show you just how much."
