The A-Team (Furry Version)
A short story made for my good friend Zerwolf and his mate Rhazagal. I just finished watching the A-Team from the early 80's and asked if I could make them a story featuring the two of them. I'm happy they said yes and I tried my hardest to bring out the best in them. Hopefully I did them justice so they don't come crashing my door down. Thank you two again for the chance and hope you like the finished results. Let me know what you think in the comment below. It means a lot to me.
Sarga Reigal @ Zerwolf
Rhazagal Slade @ Rhazagal
Loud, rambunctious chatter echoed out the doors of the Wolf's Den. People and morphs alike were drinking and having a good time. The canine behind the bar was serving up a storm as his tail wagged to the music that could barely be heard over the loud chatter.
"Hey Sarga, let me get a refill," a hippo shouted.
"Yeah yeah, give me a sec," Sarga said, sliding two mugs full of beer in front of a jackal and a dingo.
He walked over and reached for the mug when his wrist was grabbed by the hippo.
"So Sarga, when are we going to hook up?"
"Not in your lifetime," Sarga growled. "Now let go."
"Oh come on. Stop being such a downer. I know you need somebody to hold and keep you warm at night."
"That's what a teddy bear is for. Not slobs like you."
Sarga ripped his wrist away, grabbing the empty mug and filling it up before slamming it back down.
"Make this your last one and get out Earl."
"Keep playing hard to get Sarga. You know you want me balls deep in that tight rear of yours."
Sarga let out a growl before leaving Earl alone to tend to his other patrons. Pretty soon it was closing time as the last of the people headed out the door saying good night. He locked up with a sigh before going around and grabbing all the empty mugs and placing them in the sink. Then he went around lifting all the chairs onto the table before sweeping the hard wood floor. It wasn't that big of a bar. It had a couple of booths on the far left side next to the tinted windows. Three rows of tables surrounded the middle, two fans spinning lightly overhead. On the right side were small tables designed for two people to chat.
Once the sweeping was done, he went to washing all the mugs along with the bar top. He liked keeping everything clean cause it set a good example for him. His bar was the cleanest in the city of Baynard and he was proud of it. When he got the bar, it took a lot to get it to the way he wanted it. But his hard work paid off and now had the best bar in the whole city. Washing the last of the mugs, he emptied the draw and locked it in the safe.
"Alright, time to head home."
Grabbing his jacket, he went out the back door into the streets. The lamp posts were on as he shoved his paws into his pockets and made his way to his apartment. Walking on the sidewalk, he saw soldiers walking the streets as a soft growl escaped him. This would never happen if the Prime Minister was still in power. But somehow, a coup was started and he disappeared without a trace. The person in charge was a real dictator. And the once peaceful city, turned into a hell hole. He raised taxes and always had his soldiers on the streets to enforce his laws. The soldiers that were loyal to the Prime Minister were put in jail or tortured to switch sides.
"I really wish the minister could get his position back. Things would be so much better," Sarga sighed as he walked up to a large apartment complex.
Fishing out his keys, he unlocked the front door and headed up to the second floor of the eighteen story building. Walking to apartment six H, he turned on the light and plopped down on the couch, happy to be off his paws. The phone in his pocket vibrated as he dug it out.
"Hello?"
"Hey Sarga! Feel like hanging with us tonight? Gonna play some Rummy and poker."
"I'll pass tonight Sean. Gonna just relax."
"Not a problem. We'll catch you some other time."
He hung up and tossed his phone on the couch before sighing.
"Better grab a shower."
He hoisted himself up and into one of the two bedrooms he had and towards the dresser. Under garments in hand, he headed to the bathroom. Clicking on the light, he got undressed and looked at the mirror. He was a decent looking canine. Black fur covered his body except for the grey that covered his paws, tip of the tail, and patch of fur on his chest that looked like a diamond. He also had grey markings under each eye along with a diamond shape on his forehead covered by his brown hair. Standing at five five, he was a very friendly canine, always smiling and laughing along with his customers. Turning on the shower, he hopped in, washing off another day.
"Man, I needed that. Now for something to drink."
Walking into the kitchen, he put some water to boil. Grabbing a cup, he opened a package of hot cocoa just as the water came to a boil. Fixing his cup, he walked back to the living room, switching the TV on as the news was playing.
"Prime Minister Rakim locked up more protesters today trying to set an example to the people. His statement was 'He is Prime Minister and will not tolerate unrest in his city."
Sarga let out a growl as he switched the channel.
"God, what a pompous asshole. I hope he gets what's coming to him."
After finishing his drink, he headed to bed, letting out a murr as he slid under the covers and was soon fast asleep.
///////
"All rise for the president!" a man said.
A jaguar walked in wearing a nice blue suit before taking a seat along with everyone else.
"What's the situation?" he asked.
"We have conformation that the Prime Minister is still alive and in hiding," a dalmatian spoke up.
"Where is he hiding out?"
"We don't know. But we do know he's alive and wants nothing more then to get his position back from that madman."
The jaguar nodded before leaning on his hands
"So how do we go about doing this? I don't want to start an international incident by sending in an army."
"We can't send in any troops, but we can send a single unit. Maybe five or six total," a bear spoke up.
"Do you have people in mind?"
"Yes sir. I just need the word and I'll pick them up."
The president was quiet before his eyes looked at the screen.
"Make it happen General."
"Yes sir," the bear said.
He stood up and saluted before walking out the room and outside where the jeep was waiting for him.
"Where to General?" the deer asked.
"Fort Sun."
"Yes sir."
The deer pulled out onto the street and towards the destination. Making it to the base, he showed his ID as the soldiers saluted, raising the gate. The jeep made it to the barracks where the soldiers were messing around and chatting. When they saw the General, they got in line quickly and saluted.
"At ease."
They all relaxed, hands behind their back.
"I need the Titan squad front and center!"
Five troops, a cheetah, wolf, dingo, skunk, and a shepard walked up and saluted. The General looked at them, raising an eyebrow.
"Where's Colonel Slade?"
"He was discharged sir," the wolf spoke up.
"I see. Well, grab your gear and meet me in the office."
"Yes sir," they all saluted.
He walked over to the office as the soldiers inside saluted.
"At ease."
A beagle walked over and shook his hand with a smile.
"General Pierce, what brings you to our humble domain?"
"I need the Titan squad for a covert mission."
"May I ask what kind?"
"Need to know bases soldier. May I use your computer?"
"Certainly."
Pierce took a seat by the computer and logged in. He clicked on his folder to see the info on the squad in question. First there was the dingo, second lieutenant Bill Dawson. Served for almost two years and was a great engineer. Then there was private first class Allen Jacobs. Pierce was surprised that the shepard made it, but his skills in different languages was a big help it appears.
Next came the two captain's, Ben Hoskins and Walter Maxwell. Both the skunk and wolf were weapons and demolition experts. They could make bombs out of anything if given the time, tools, and resources available. Lastly came major Allison Becker. The cheetah was a sniper and damn good at it. Her hand to hand combat skills were nothing to laugh at either. To lead them all was Colonel Rhazagal Slade or Rhaz for short. He was a gnoll, very tall and built like a tank. Standing at seven even, you would think he was mean, but quite the opposite. Behind all that mass of muscle was a gentle soul. Thus earning him the nickname of 'Gentle Giant'. The only thing that stood out was his pitch yellow eyes. It scared most people at first, but his good nature and sense of humor made them forget it. He led them on forty successful covert missions and earning a few medals. The door to the office opened as the unit walked in and saluted.
"What's the mission General?" Ben asked.
"All in due time captain. First, we need to pick up your CO," Pierce said getting up. "This mission requires all of you."
They all huddled into the jeep and took off towards the airport where the plane was awaiting to take them to the location where Slade was.
Rhaz let out a grunt as he brought the ax down, chopping more firewood for the fireplace. He wiped the sweat off his forehead as he listened to the birds sing overhead in the trees. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath of the clean forest air.
"Feels good to relax. So glad I got discharged."
He grabbed the firewood before heading back to the log cabin where he currently resided in. It was a great cabin that was left to him by a friend killed in action. It had two bedrooms, bathroom, and a nice living room with an imitation bear skin rug and a large fireplace. A desk was in the corner with a small lamp on it along with books held up by paperweights. Setting the wood into the holder, he took a seat on the couch with a sigh, running a paw through the mane on the back of his head. Up above the fireplace on the mantle, he saw a picture of his squad and gave a small smile, remembering everything they went through together.
"Those were good times. I wonder how they are all doing? Especially Allen. The little guy was a handful when I first got him."
His ears perked up at the sound of something approaching. That set off a few red flags cause nobody knew about this place. Grabbing his rifle, he went to the window and peeked out. Off in the distance, he saw a chopper making its way to him. It landed in the field a little ways as people hopped out and headed to him. Taking aim, he fired a shot hitting the dirt by Pierce's feet.
"Come any closer, and I won't miss the next time"
"Colonel Rhazagal Slade, this is General Howard Pierce. May we talk?"
Rhaz cursed before putting his weapon away. He watched as Pierce made his way up and couldn't help but smile at who was following him. He opened the door and saluted out of habit.
"General Pierce, what a surprise. I didn't think anybody knew where this place was."
"You forget Paul was my friend too and brought me out here a couple of times. May we come in?"
"Of course! By all means!"
Everybody huddled into the cabin as Rhaz couldn't help but smile at seeing his old squad, giving them each a welcomed hug before taking a seat himself.
"Man, its good to see you guys after so long," Rhaz said happily. "You keeping Allen out of trouble?"
"Hey," Allen said with a whine. "I'm not that bad."
"Sure you're not runt," Allison said, ruffling his head making him whimper.
"So, what brings you here General?"
Pierce smiled before crossing his legs.
"I have a mission that requires you and your squad."
Rhaz's face went grim as he crossed his arms.
"I'm done General. I got honorable discharged to relax."
"I understand that Colonel. But this is a situation that requires a great team. And I couldn't think of any better team then your squad."
"They can handle themselves just fine. They don't need me anymore."
"Son, I wouldn't be coming here if it wasn't the utmost importance," Pierce said sternly.
That made Rhaz's ears perk as he looked at his old squad.
"What are the details of this mission?"
"You'll only be told after you accept."
That made him growl before sitting back in the chair.
"I really don't want to be bothered with anything else General."
"Not even if the president asked for you personally?" Pierce said, hoping to bluff him.
Rhaz's yellow eyes looked into Pierce's green for a second. With a grunt, he rubbed his eyes before giving in.
"Alright, I'm in. But this is the last one General."
Pierce gave a huge grin before standing up and walking over to shake his hand.
"Your services will always be appreciated. Grab some clothes and I'll fill you in on all the details."
///////
Rhaz had his eyes close as the plane flew smoothly in the air, headphones in his ears. His thoughts went back to what Pierce said to him.
"So what are we doing?"
"Infiltration mission," Pierce said handing him a file as Rhaz looked through it.
"Who is this?"
"Current dictator of Baynard, Rakim Palmer. He took over by force, making the current Prime Minister hide for his life. We do know he's alive and wants his position back."
Rhaz took a look at the gator who had a smug grin on his face.
"So why does the president want me? Send in the troops."
"The president doesn't want an international incident. Best to send a small unit in to look like a coup."
"Do we have any resources?"
Pierce nodded and handed him a card.
"That's our contact in Baynard. He'll supply you with what he can."
"Meaning nothing. Great," Rhaz said tossing the folder back.
"Come on Colonel, we've been through worse," Walter added.
Rhaz was quiet before his yellow eyes looked at Pierce.
"So get in, take out the dictator, and get out?"
"In a nutshell."
"And if we get caught, we're all by ourselves?"
"Smart guy. You still remember everything."
Rhaz looked at his squad as they all nodded their heads slightly.
"Fine. When do we leave?"
"Sir?"
Rhaz opened his eyes to see a doe flight attendant looking at him as he took off his headphones.
"We'll be arriving shortly. Please put your seat in the upright position."
"Sure," Rhaz smiled fixing the seat.
The plane landed with a soft bump as the thrusters went full reverse to slow down. It pulled into the gate as Rhaz exited the plane, backpack on his shoulders as he went up the ramp to the security gate where soldiers were placed.
"Id please," a bull asked.
Rhaz showed his Id as the bull looked it over.
"What's your purpose here?"
"History major. Going to do a little studying of the city."
The bull looked at him skeptically before handing his Id back.
"Bag please."
Rhaz gave him the bag as the bull looked in, finding a laptop, history book, and a notebook.
"Here you go. Best place to learn about the city is public records. Tell them Phillip sent you and you should be let in."
"Thanks. If I get a good grade, I'll make sure to add you as a helper."
The bull smiled as Rhaz walked past him shaking his head. He walked out the airport with his team behind him.
"So where's our contact?" Allen asked looking around.
A beep caught their attention as they saw a badger standing by a van. He walked over to them before saluting.
"Colonel Rhaz?"
"That would be me."
"Wow," the badger said looking up at him. "They said you were tall."
He chuckled at that before speaking.
"Are you our contact?"
"Yes sir. Captain Raven Carr at your service. Hop in, we have a bit of a drive."
They all huddle into the van as Raven pulled off.
"What's the situation?" Rhaz asked in the front.
"I'll explain everything at the hide out."
Raven pulled off the highway into the city as everybody took in the scenery, taking note of all the soldiers walking around.
"What's with the soldiers?" Allison asked.
"Rakim likes to keep people in check so they don't riot."
"Sounds like a fun guy," Ben spoke up.
"You don't know the half," Raven said.
Raven turned down a one way street before stopping next to a laundry mat.
"Apartment's above the mat."
They all hopped out the van and behind the mat to a door leading to the apartments above. They walked to the stairs up to the fourth floor and entered room four.
"It may be small, but it has a view of everything important."
Allison went to the window and looked out to see a clear view of the large embassy building.
"Now, I suppose you want the details of everything?" Raven asked.
"That would be good," Rhaz said.
"Have a seat by the table."
Rhaz took a seat at the table, Allison right next to him as Raven brought out a tourist map.
"Really?" Allison chuckled.
"Hey, its a hundred percent accurate," Raven smiled. "Now then, as you saw, that's the Embassy all the way down the street. It is heavily guarded twenty four seven with electrified fences and watchtowers. Getting in is not possible."
"What about underground?" Rhaz asked.
"No good either. Trip laser wires with C4 and land mines. Lost two people trying."
Rhaz crossed his arms looking at the map, eyes roving around.
"Underground still might be good if we can get infrared glasses."
"I can probably get you a pair but its iffy," Raven said.
"How soon?"
"Maybe a day. Have to travel out to get them."
"Okay."
Rhaz got up and went to the small living room where everybody was seated.
"Alright everybody, I want a simple recon. Ben, you and Bill comb the streets and see how many soldiers are posted and where. Walter, you, Allison, and Allen will go over to the Embassy and take some pictures."
"Married couple again?" Walter said.
"You two look so good together," Allen chuckled.
"If you want to keep all your teeth, I suggest you keep quiet little man," Allison growled a little.
Allen chuckled at that before looking at Rhaz.
"What will you do?"
"Going for a drink and figured out why I agreed to do this."
"The best bar is about a couple of block from here," Raven said grabbing the keys. "I should be back tomorrow."
"Okay, thanks for the info. You guys have your assignments, so lets get it done."
They all nodded their heads and left as Rhaz sighed. Why did he agree to do this?
///////
"Hey Sarga, give me another beer here," a bear said at the bar.
"Sure thing," Sarga said, grabbing a clean mug and filling it up.
"Thanks," the bear said handing him the money and grabbing the mug to sit by the window.
It was busy for a Wednesday night as the Wolf's Den was filled with patrons talking and laughing away. He took what free time he had to wash the dirty mugs in the sink, humming a tune in his head as his tail wagged happily.
"A little service over here."
"One second," Sarga said, drying his paws. He turned around to only let out a growl at who it was. "What do you want Earl?"
"A beer. Is that to much to ask?" the hippo asked with a smirk.
Sarga let out a huff as he grabbed a clean mug, filling it with the draft selection. He laid it in front of Earl on a coaster. Before he could leave, Earl grabbed his wrist.
"I'm tired of waiting Sarga. You keep tempting me with that sweet, canine ass and its driving me crazy."
"I told you Earl. I'm not interested in a fat fuck like you."
Earl let go of his wrist before grabbing the collar of his shirt.
"It seems my puppy needs to learn who his master is."
"Let me go Earl. I mean it."
"Not until you say you'll be mine."
Earl felt his face get slammed onto the bar counter making him grunt in pain.
"Its not nice to bully people," Rhaz said in a calm, but serious tone. "May I suggest letting the bartender go."
Earl let Sarga go as he fixed his shirt. He looked up at Rhaz, seeing those piercing yellow eyes look at him with a soft smile.
"Should I evict this person for you?" Rhaz asked.
Sarga couldn't tear his gaze from those yellow eyes that seemed so soft and inviting. Fingers snapped him back to earth as he blushed.
"What did you say?" Sarga blushed.
"I asked if you want me to evict this customer for you?"
"Oh, sure. He's been nothing but trouble anyway."
"As you wish."
With his grip still on his Earl's neck, he grabbed his arm and lead him to the door.
"You can't do this to me," Earl yelled.
"You are bothering an employee of this establishment. They have all right to ask you to leave," Rhaz said calmly.
The door was opened as Earl was promptly tossed out on his rear as he got up.
"I'll remember this insult. Nobody makes a fool of me."
Rhaz closed the door as the patrons started to clap making him blush a little. He took a seat where Earl was as Sarga handed him a mug full of his best beer.
"Here you go. On the house."
"You sure?"
"Positive. My own special brew."
Rhaz took a drink, eyes wide and tail wagging.
"Wow, this is pretty good. Better then the junk at home."
Sarga watched him drink, tail wagging behind him.
"So, where are you from?"
"The states, Colorado to be exact."
"What brings you here?"
"Class assignment. Need to do a report about the history of this city."
Sarga chuckled at that before leaning on the bar.
"I guess you must've drew the small straw."
"You could say that," Rhaz smiled.
"What species are you? Never seen your kind before."
"I'm a gnoll, born and bred."
Sarga nodded before grabbing his empty mug and refilling it.
"Well, this city was great before that asshole took over by force. Now people are scared to walk the streets due to Rakim soldiers. He also raised taxes and set a curfew. Anybody not coming off a job will be put in jail. He really needs to go."
Rhaz nodded his head, taking everything in. He took another swig before rubbing his chin.
"If you want, I can show you around tomorrow? I usually don't open the bar until three."
Rhaz thought about it before smiling.
"Sure, I'd like that."
"Great!" Sarga yipped. "How about we meet up here around ten?"
"Sounds like a plan."
Sarga smiled, tail wagging happily. Rhaz finished his drink before getting up and heading to the door. He took a look back as Sarga gave him a wave. Giving a smile, he left the bar and headed back to the hideout. The soldiers on the street looked at him before continuing their patrol. He made it back to the apartment as he walked in.
"Great timing Colonel. We got all the recon ready," Ben said.
"Good. Lets have a look," Rhaz said walking to the small living room.
Scattered on the table were various pictures along with the tourist map with lots of red marks on the streets.
"What do we have?"
"All those X's are where the patrols are. There is literally no place uncovered by them," Bill said.
"Fun," Rhaz said. "What about the Embassy?"
Allen gave him the pictures as he thumb through them.
"Watchtower on each corner with a sniper. Fences are full of high voltage and guards won't let you near the front gate. We only got that close cause we posed with them," Allison said.
"So there is literally no way to get in huh?" Walter said drinking some tea.
"We haven't tried the underground yet. Once Raven comes back with those infra red, we should be good to go."
"What if he strikes out?" Allen asked.
Rhaz crossed his arms before shrugging.
"Then we wait for the roach to come out of hiding."
///////
Sarga was out in front of the bar, tail wagging in anticipation. He didn't know why he did what he did but there was something about the gnoll that was intriguing. He put his paws in the pocket of his wind breaker jacket and leaned against the door.
"What if he doesn't show up?"
His eyes scanned the street, hoping to see him but still nothing. He was just about to give up when his ears perked at a voice speaking to him.
"Sorry for being late."
Sarga turned and saw Rhaz walking up to him. He was wearing a simple pair of slacks and a white collared shirt.
"Not a problem," Sarga said with a smile. "Shall we grab a coffee before we start?"
"Sure."
They headed down the street to a local coffee shop before heading back out.
"Sorry that you have to see the city in such a sad shape."
"I've seen a lot worse," Rhaz said, remembering all those towns held under pressure by oppression.
"I never told you my name. Name's Sarga Riegel."
"Rhazagal Slade but just call me Rhaz."
They shook paws as Sarga felt those warm pads and gentle but firm grip.
"So, tell me about this city?" Rhaz said sipping his drink.
"Prime Minister Manuel was loved by everybody. His rules were fair and nobody had any trouble with anything. This city flourished and tourism was high cause he allowed people to tour the Embassy. Then about a month ago, this Rakim came and quickly overthrew him."
Sarga let out a huff before sipping his coffee.
"He brought an army and took over without mercy. The soldiers faithful to Manuel, defected to Rakim. I heard Manuel barely escaped with his life and went into hiding."
Sarga looked up into the blue sky.
"Once he gain dictatorship, things went to hell. Tourism plummeted along with morale. His soldiers patrol the streets bullying people and pushing their weight around. Its just been hell."
"Sorry to hear that."
"I believe Manuel will make a comeback and take control again. He just needs the man power to do it. I would help, but don't want to leave my bar."
Rhaz chuckled at that.
"Very noble of you. Is it just you running the bar?"
"Yep. I saved up and bought it. Had a little help from my parents also. But I love doing it. Half the city usually comes by cause I serve the best," Sarga grinned.
"No arguments there. Bars in the state couldn't hold a candle to you."
Sarga ears folded in a blush.
"Thanks. What's your story Rhaz?"
"I am what you see. Nothing special. Just trying to further my education a little more. As they say, knowledge is power."
"True statement."
They walked around a little more until coming to a bench in front of a statue of Manuel that had graffiti all over it. They joked and chatted away, enjoying the company until a couple of soldiers walked by.
"Hey, what are you two doing?" a wolf growled.
"Just talking. Is that a crime now?" Sarga growled lightly.
"What about?" the wolf asked, gun at the ready.
"The history of this city. Its my assignment for school. Phil gave me this location," Rhaz said.
The wolf grunted at that before relaxing.
"Very well. Just watch yourself. Other soldiers ain't as nice as me."
Both wolves walked away as Sarga snarled.
"God I hate this shit. I'm sorry about that."
"Don't be," Rhaz smiled softly making Sarga blushed as the phone vibrated in his pocket. "Hello? Okay, I understand. Be right there."
Rhaz stood up and stretched a little before looking at Sarga.
"Sorry to cut our walk short. But I'm needed back at the hotel."
"Not a problem. Thanks for hanging with me."
"Hope to do it again before I leave," Rhaz said holding his paw out.
Sarga smiled before shaking it.
"I look forward to it."
Rhaz smiled before heading back as Sarga watched him, tail wagging happily. Rhaz made it back as Raven greeted him.
"Good news?" Rhaz asked.
"Yeah. Managed to get a pair of infra red and some extra surplus."
"Cool. Alright Ben, you and Walter will check out the underground."
"Got it Colonel," they both said before heading out.
//////
Rhaz found himself in the Wolf's Den that night, mug of beer in his paw and waiting on the word from Ben and Walter. He didn't have to worry about them cause when it came to explosives, they were tops in their class. And besides, he was starting to like the company of Sarga as he watched him chuckle at his jokes.
"Wow, you've had some interesting moments," Sarga giggled, leaning on the bar.
"You don't know the half," Rhaz replied, taking a drink.
"Say, you wanna go on another walk?"
Rhaz thought about it, ear's twitching from the background noise before nodding.
"Sure," he replied.
Sarga's tail wagged rapidly behind him as his blue eyes showed extreme happiness.
"Same time?" Sarga asked.
"I'll be here."
"Hey Sarga, another round over here," a man said from the back.
"Sure thing," Sarga replied back. "Let me do a quick check on everyone and then we can continue."
Rhaz nodded, taking another sip of his foamy beverage as he watched Sarga make the rounds. He watched his tail wag happily as he joked and chatted with his patrons. He almost reminded him of.....he shook his head quickly of that thought. The mug reached his muzzle as he swallowed another gulp before burping. He shouldn't be dwelling on the past like that, but there's something about Sarga that brought those feelings back. Feelings that he buried deep in his heart.
"Amos," Rhaz said softly.
Suddenly, the ground shook hard shaking the mugs on the shelf and window frames.
"What was that?" somebody asked as everyone looked around.
"Earthquake rarely happens here," another spoke up.
Another tremor hit, this time stronger causing some of the mugs to fall on the floor and shatter. Rhaz knew what was going on as he grimaced. Sarga hurried to the door as he saw soldiers running down the street towards the smoke columns coming from the manhole covers.
"Wonder what's going on?" Sarga questioned.
Rhaz's phone started to vibrate as he grabbed it out of his pocket.
"Speak to me. What's happening?" he said quietly as to not rouse suspicion.
"We ran into a snag Colonel," Ben shouted over the sound of gunfire.
"I can hear that. I'm coming. Just hang on."
He hung up and hurried out the bar before Sarga stopped him.
"Where are you going Rhaz?"
"Going to check on my classmates to see if they are okay."
"Are we still on for our walk?"
"Don't know," Rhaz said running down the street.
He ran fast, heart thudding in his chest. Getting close, he spotted Allison hiding in an alley as she waved him over.
"What's the word?"
"Soldiers all over the place. Can't really get to them directly. They have the streets on lock down."
"Okay. Head back to the hideout. I'm going after them."
"Okay. This is the only entrance that wasn't crawling with soldiers."
Rhaz nodded his head as Allison peeked around the corner to see if the coast was clear before slipping out. Rhaz went to the manhole cover and lifted it, hopping on the ladder before sliding the cover back over. He heard the distant sound of gunfire and followed it. There was a little bit of light, enough for him to maneuver around. The fire fight got louder as he heard the sounds of growls and orders being barked. Peeking around the corner, he saw three soldiers firing at Ben as he was behind cover. He crept out slowly, walking to the closest soldier and tapping his shoulder.
The soldier turned around, only to get punched with a solid right to the temple knocking him out. The other two soldiers turned to fire as Rhaz was on them quickly. He grabbed one of the soldiers, using his gun to take out his partner as his body shook from the impact of the bullets before dropping to the ground. With quick hands, he took the magazine out the gun before landing a sharp elbow to the bernard who hit the wall with a yelp.
"You fucker," he snarled, pulling out his knife.
Rhaz got in a defensive stance, dodging the swings while countering with straight jabs that staggered the canine. The soldier lunged again as Rhaz grabbed his arm and flipped him onto his back in an arm bar take down. He pulled back hard hearing the bone snap along with a howl of pain. He rolled off him before knocking the dog out with a strike to the temple.
"Ben? Walter?" Rhaz panted softly.
"Here," Ben said with a sigh of relief.
Rhaz hurried over and saw Walter on the ground holding his stomach as a foreign object was stuck in his body.
"What happened?" Rhaz asked, kneeling down next to Walter.
"They had motion sensors as a back up in case somebody got through the lasers. We triggered one, thus the explosions. We barely heard the timer go down before taking cover. Walter got hit with shrapnel but nothing vital got hit."
They heard the sounds of soldiers approaching from different angles.
"Crap," Rhaz said, leaning down and lifting Walter up making him groan in pain. "We have to get out of here."
"Can't go back the way we came cause they're coming that way and every other way," Ben said seeing the lights.
"Hey!" a voice said behind them.
They turned to see a jackal looking at them.
"Come with me. Hurry!"
Ben looked at Rhaz who grunted.
"Colonel?" Ben questioned.
"No choice," Rhaz said hearing the soldiers get closer.
They hurried towards the jackal and followed him to a dead end. He pushed a hidden button on the wall as a door opened and they hurried in. The jackal turned on a switch lighting the tunnel.
"Follow me."
He lead them through the tunnel and down a flight of stairs to a door. He knocked a couple of times as a deadbolt was unlatched and the door opened. Walking in, they were greeted by lots of guns pointed in their direction.
"Dana, you know better then to lead outsiders here," a hawk said.
"Every one stand down," an eagle said walking up.
"But Prime Minister....."
"I will not repeat myself," the eagle said narrowing his eyes.
The hawk grunted as everybody lowered their weapons.
"Amber, take care of the wounded soldier."
A fox walked over with a smile, taking Walter from a reluctant Rhaz and lead him to the back.
"Follow me," the eagle said.
Rhaz and Ben followed the eagle through a series of rooms. Rhaz took note as he saw lots of soldiers with a hefty supplies of arms. They walked into a room with a large table with a huge model display of the city.
"Please, sit."
They took a seat as the eagle smiled.
"Please don't mind Carlo. He's very protective every since this happened. What brings you to my city?"
"To help you," Rhaz said.
"Ahh, so my message did go through. Well the more help, the better. My troops are loyal, but we are few."
"Can you explain how this all happen?"
The eagle nodded before looking at the model city.
"Rakim was the commander of my soldiers. He's very smart and very dangerous. He wasn't just satisfied with being commander, he wanted more power. So over time, he started bribing the soldiers, making promises of wealth and prestige. Then before I knew it, he started his march, taking everybody by surprise."
The eagle closed his eyes before opening them.
"His army cut down anybody that didn't pledge loyalty to him. In the end, almost three quarters of my men were allied to him. The rest were gunned down. I've never seen so much blood shed. I managed to escape with what soldiers were still loyal to me and came here through a secret tunnel. Now I sit here while my city suffers under his rule. Thus the reason I asked for help from your country."
"I see," Rhaz said folding his arms.
"How many men did you bring to help?"
"Five, including me."
The eagle frowned at that.
"What can six do against an army?"
Ben gave a grin at that.
"Don't count us out that easily. We've been in worse situations."
The eagle looked at Ben before Rhaz. Amber knocked on the wall before speaking.
"How's Walter?" Rhaz asked.
"The piece of metal wasn't deep so he'll recover in a week or so," Amber said with a smile. "And there was no signs of infection either."
Rhaz and Ben both let out a sigh of relief at that. The eagle smiled before standing up.
"I'm sure you must be tired, so you are welcomed to rest here."
"Thanks for the offer Prime Minister, but I got to get back to my other team members."
"Certainly. Dana!"
The same jackal that lead them there came walking in.
"Yes minister?"
"Just tell Dana where you need to go, and he'll guide you."
"Thank you minister," Rhaz said getting up.
"Please call me Manuel. We'll meet again to put an end to this, agreed?" Manuel said sticking his hand out.
Rhaz shook it with a smile.
"You can call me Rhaz. This here is Ben and my other guy is Walter."
"We will take good care of him for you."
"How can we get a hold of you?"
"Dana here always goes to the Wolf's Den checking around for me. Meet him there and he'll relay any message to me."
Rhaz nodded as they followed Dana through the tunnel before coming up to the laundry mat. Once the coast was clear, they hurried into the building and into the apartment when everyone was waiting.
"Where's Walter?" Allison asked.
"Injured but safe. I'll explain everything tomorrow. Get some rest. Things are going to get interesting from here on out," Rhaz smiled.
//////
Sarga let out a loud yawn as he sat up in his bed, rolling his neck around a few times. Last night was pretty exciting as he watched the soldiers rush this way and that trying to figure out what happened. Even he was curious about the tremors that broke some of his mugs.
Sliding his paws off the bed to the floor, he stretched his upper body hearing the joints pop. With a sigh, he got up and went to his dresser, grabbing some under garments before heading to the bathroom. Starting the shower up, he hopped in and murred feeling the water cascade down his body.
"Wish I could've spoke to Rhaz more. Hope we can for that walk today."
His wet tail wagged happily at that before his sheath began to tingle a little. Just being around Rhaz made him feel warm and fuzzy. He never felt like this with anybody else. Feeling clean, he turned the water off before shaking the excess off. Wrapping a towel around his waist, he went back to the bedroom and turned on the TV as the news was playing the events from last night.
"Authorities are still trying to find out the cause of the underground explosion that shook the street last night. Residents are asked to comply with local authority on any clues as to.....hold on. We are being told the current Prime Minister has something to say. We will switch over to live feed at the Embassy."
The scene switch to a decorated office with the gator behind a desk. He was wearing a royal red jacket buttoned up with lots of medals on the upper left side. The upper right had a red and gold cape that was attached to the shoulder. His yellow green eyes looked at the camera with a cold, deadly stare.
"Citizens of Baynard," Rakim said with a deep voice. "It appears last night, we had people trying to break into the Embassy. Luckily, my soldiers were able to thwart their plans along with my good defense."
Rakim folded his hands together before resting his snout on them.
"It appears my generosity towards everybody has not been appreciated as of late. So starting today, the curfew for everyone is now eight. Anybody caught in noncompliance will be arrested on sight, no questions asked. If you work at an establishment that closes late night, a soldier will be posted inside the premises and will escort you to your house."
He chuckled a little before closing his eyes.
"I tried to be a kind and generous leader, but all I get are death threats and hatred. Nonetheless, I AM Prime Minister and you will obey my commands. Otherwise, I will show you just how evil I can get. But let's not get so down. On the plus side, I will be holding a glorious festival in honor of me at St. Mary's Park today. Come and be part of this joyous moment."
Sarga turned off the TV with disgust and a steady growl.
"What an egotistical asshole."
He huffed an annoyed sigh before getting dressed. The only bright side about today was the walk with Rhaz. His tail wagged happily at the thought. Once dressed, he grabbed his keys and headed out the door. He could see the soldiers walking the street, some giving him a glance before moving on. He made it to his bar, leaning on the door and awaiting Rhaz's arrival. Time passed and still no sign of Rhaz as he folded his ears.
"I hope everything's okay."
More time passed and still no sign of Rhaz. Sarga let out a sigh as he's been waiting for a bit. Looking at his watch, he saw it was almost noon.
"Guess he's not coming," he whined softly.
"Sarga!!"
Sarga's ears perked up as he saw Rhaz run up to him.
"I'm so sorry I'm late. Alarm didn't go off in time."
"That's okay," Sarga replied, tail wagging happily. "Where do you want to go?"
"Think we can go to this place where Rakim is going to be?"
Sarga tilted his head curiously but shrugged.
"Sure thing."
They walked through the street, ignoring the soldiers along the way. They made it to St. Mary's Park after grabbing a soft pretzel and sitting on a bench under a maple tree.
"Can I ask how old you are?" Sarga asked.
"Sure thing. I'm twenty five. How about you?"
"Twenty three."
"Impressive. Awfully young to be a bar owner."
Sarga blushed, taking another bite of the doughy goodie. Rhaz's eyes surveyed the area, taking in everything. Tree position, benches, surrounding buildings, and everything else he could. He felt a tap on his shoulder as he looked at Sarga.
"Are you okay?"
"Fine. Just admiring everything. Where's this Rakim going to be standing at for this so called festival?"
"More then likely by the abstract art sculpture over there," Sarga said, pointing towards the weird art design.
Rhaz looked over at it before getting up and strolling over, doing a three sixty degree turn as his eyes took in everything.
"Hmm, decent sniping positions in the buildings. Wide open space with limited places to hide. Could end this here and be done in time for dinner. But might take some heavy hits since the cover is limited to trees and benches."
Sarge walked over to him, head cocked in curiosity.
"Everything okay?"
"Just fine. I'm gonna have to cut our walk short. I hope you don't mind?"
"Okay. I need to get the bar open soon. See you there?"
"You got it."
Sarga smiled before heading off to the bar. Rhaz watched him before looking around again. This could work in his favor. There might be civilian causalities, but if they got Rakim, it might be worth it.
//////
"Rakim will likely come down this street," Manuel said, using a pointing stick. "More then likely he'll be heavily guarded."
"That I know. But there are sniper points in this building here and here," Rhaz said pointing to the buildings not far from the park. "I don't know if they'll be good, but I'll trust your judgment," he said looking at Allison.
"Gotcha," Allison nodded.
She dismantled the sniper rifle she was given, putting the pieces into a backpack and heading to the door..
"Wait," Manuel said getting up.
Allison stopped before looking back as Manuel pulled out a ring of keys.
"Keys for every door in the city. Should come in handy. If anybody gives you trouble, show them this."
He handed her a small emblem badge with a scorpion image on it. She nodded her head before heading out. Manuel went back to the table and leaned on it.
"What are you going to do?" he asked Rhaz.
"I'm gonna be in the crowd with my team. Up close and personal."
"I'll have some of my men help you."
"No offense Prime Minister, but we work better when its just us," Bill said adjusting the kevlar vest under his shirt.
Manuel looked at him before Rhaz.
"I understand your team works better together, but this is still my city and I will not sit idly by without helping. Plus, I owe Rakim a world of hurt for everything he's done to me and my people."
"I understand Prime Minister. Have your men set up a perimeter to help civilians to safety and prevent reinforcements from coming. I don't want anymore injured then I will like to have."
Manuel nodded before addressing his troops. Rhaz grabbed a pistol from the weapons table and looked it over before slapping a clip inside and pulling back the hammer. Putting the safety on, he slid it in the back of his pants feeling the cool metal tickle his fur. Grabbing a few extra clips, his earpiece crackled to life as Allison spoke up.
"Colonel, I'm in position."
"Have you got a clean view?"
"Crystal clear. All I need is this roach to crawl out from his rock and I step on him right between the eyes."
Rhaz chuckled at that before looking at everyone.
"Alright, Bill and Ben, you got the south. I'll take Allen and cover the north. Manuel, can you have your men cover the east and west?"
"Not a problem," Manuel smiled.
"Alright, let's evict us a dictator."
//////
Sarga let out a sigh as he stood at his bar. It was pretty much dead since Rakim announced his little festival to promote himself. He didn't want to go, but the aspect of free food was too tempting to pass up. A grunt left him as he placed a long towel over the table before laying the stools on top. Grabbing his jacket, he exited his bar, locking it up and heading to the park. There was a lack of soldier presence which he noticed.
"Probably needs them to protect his sorry ass."
He walked down the street towards the park as the sound of music could be heard in the background. Tons of people were gathered in the park. Whether by the free food, or to curse out Rakim. It didn't take long as Rakim's entourage was soon seen down the street surrounded by soldiers.
"And here comes the devil himself," Sarga growled.
He appeared in a Rolls Royce with the top down as he sat on the back seats, a smug grin on his face as he waved to the people. Some waved back. Others ignored him and continued about their way. The car made a stop on the curb as Rakim hopped out. He was wearing a white uniform with a beret on his head as soldiers flanked him from all sides.
He made his way through the park, shaking people's hands that walked up to him after being frisked. Sarga just watched him in disgust as Rakim made his way to the abstract art and sat down in the large chair that was provided for him. Sarge ignored him before going to a fried dough stand. He took a bite with a happy wag as he looked at the huge crowd that gathered. His ears perked as he saw Rhaz standing under a tree, arms crossed. A smile appeared on his muzzle as he was about to walk over when a soldier stopped him.
"The Prime Minister wants to speak with you."
"Me? Why?"
"Don't ask questions. Just do as you're told."
Sarga growled at that before following the soldier to where Rakim was sitting. Their eyes met and right there Sarga wanted nothing more then to avoid him.
"Mr. Sarga, owner of the best bar in the city," Rakim said.
"Thank you," Sarga said, trying to contain his anger.
"Please, take a seat and chat with me," Rakim said motioning to the chair being brought over.
//////
"Colonel, we got a problem," Allison said in the earpiece.
"What's up?"
"I had a clear shot until he had someone sit next to him."
Rhaz looked over to Rakim and sucked in a breath through his teeth as he saw Sarga over there.
"What is he doing there? Can you get a better angle?"
"I can. But I would have to probably move up a few more flights. I don't know if the shot will be clearer then here."
"Dammit. Okay, stand bye."
Rhaz made his way over to where Rakim was sitting.
"So tell me Sarga, how did you manage to be the best bar in the city? My soldiers can't stop talking about your brew."
"I put my heart and soul into making the best so people can leave in good spirits and forget they have a tyrant for a Prime Minister."
Rakim chuckled at that as some of his soldiers heard him and growled lightly.
"Relax boys. He's entitled to his opinion. Regardless of how much trouble it gets him into."
He leaned over, looking Sarga dead in the eyes. There was something in his eyes that made Sarga fold his ears and whine softly.
"I'm sure mister Sarga would like to continue to serve in my city. After all, I would hate for an accident to happen."
Sarga's hackles raised as he bared his teeth lightly.
"The feeling's mutual 'Prime Minister'," Sarga growled.
Rakim grinned at that, showing those sharp teeth. He was about to say something else when his soldiers gathered in front of him. He looked up to see Rhaz standing there, their eyes locking briefly.
"How can I help you citizen?"
"I would like to have my friend back. He's helping me with my school assignment."
"Oh? What kind of assignment?" Rakim said looking him up and down. "You're awfully big to still be in school."
"As they say, knowledge is power. And I like to learn things."
Rakim chuckled at that before leaning back in the chair.
"Very well, I'm done with mister Sarga anyways. I hope your studies bear fruit."
Sarga hurried out the chair and to Rhaz's side quickly as they walked away.
"You need to leave, now," Rhaz said to him.
"What!? Why?"
"Allison, you have the shot?"
"Just waiting for the word Colonel."
Rhaz looked behind him for a brief second before walking faster through the crowd, a firm grip on Sarga's arm.
"Manuel, your soldiers in place?"
"Yes."
"Good. Allison, take him out."
"With pleasure."
Allison took aim through the scope, Rakim in her sights. She took a relaxing breath, steadying her heartbeat. Looking through the scope again, she took aim and squeezed the trigger. A curse escaped her as a collie walked in front of her shot, spraying Rakim's suit with blood. The people all let out screams and started to scramble for the exits as Manuel's soldiers helped people to escape.
"Fuck. Somebody walked in my line of sight at the last second Colonel. Won't get another shot with all the people running around."
Rakim's soldiers took aim at the building Allison was in and opened fire making her duck inside as bullets embedded into the wall.
"A little help would be nice. Got me pinned down in here."
"Hang tight," Bill said, running towards the building where he saw the soldiers running to.
Rakim stood up, blood over his uniform as he snarled evilly.
"You bastards think you can get rid of me? Then come and get me," he shouted, taking out the Luger on his side and opening fire at the building as well.
"Manuel, how are we doing with the citizens?" Rhaz shouted, ducking behind a bench with Sarga and tossing it over.
"We're done on our side. We'll keep the soldiers from joining in on the street."
Rhaz stood up and started firing as the soldiers took cover behind whatever they could find. Sarga kept his head down, ears folded as the sound of gunfire erupted through the park.
"What is going on? Who are you?"
Rhaz ducked back down, slapping a fresh clip into the gun before looking at Sarga with sad eyes.
"I'll explain everything once this is over, if you give me the chance."
"What chance? You're going to get me killed. I have to get out of here," Sarga whined leaving.
"Sarga wait!!"
Sarga hurried out from the cover heading to one of the food trucks. Rhaz let out a curse and followed him, tackling him to the ground just as a soldier opened fire. Rhaz let out a yelp, feeling searing pain run through his shoulder. He leaned back on the food truck, breathing hard as blood went down his arm.
"What else are you lying about?" Sarga growled.
Rhaz looked at him before peeking his head out and firing from cover. He looked at his shoulder and grunted, ripping his shirt off and tying the wound on his shoulder. A snarl escaped him as he tighten it.
"Look Sarga, I'm sorry about this. But I'll tell you everything, I promise."
"Why should I bel...."
He couldn't finish as Rhaz leaned down and kissed him, making Sarga's eyes go wide. It ended just as soon as it started as Sarga's ears were folded back in a heavy blush. Rhaz gave a soft smile before his earpiece crackled.
"_We stopped the soldiers trying to help and all the citizens are safe with minimal hurt. Some are even taking the arms of the fallen soldiers and helping out. Let's finish this now,"_Manuel said as gunfire was heard.
"Fine by me. You guys hear that? Let's finish this."
He took one last look at Sarga before slipping out and firing away. Sarga watched him, confusion on his face. Just who the hell was Rhaz?
Rhaz did a baseball slide under a bench as bullets dug up the ground around him. He lifted his arm and did a few blind shots before looking to his right. Allen was helping Ben behind a tree.
"You guys okay?"
"Ben took a bullet for me. I was careless," Allen said.
"You always are," Ben chuckled before groaning from the wound on his leg.
A bullet pinged on the metal bench making Rhaz duck down. He looked over to where he left Sarga to find he wasn't there. A soft whine escaped him before focusing on the task at hand. His ears perked as he heard Rakim laughing.
"Did you guys actually think you had a chance? Your little coup ends here. I'll make sure to hang your bodies in this very park to serve as an example of those who oppose me."
Little did Rakim know, that behind him Manuel was closing in little by little. Most of the soldiers that were firing saw Manuel and slowly started to back away. Rakim noticed it after a bit cause it was only a few of his soldiers firing when he looked around to see everybody at attention.
"What the hell are you standing around for? Kill these fuckers. That's an order!"
"You'll be giving no more orders today Rakim."
Rakim froze at that voice before slowly turning around to see Manuel standing there behind him with almost all of his troops.
"Prime Minister!? What a pleasant surprise."
"Wish I could say the feeling's mutual, but that'll be a lie. I'm taking back what is rightful mine."
Rakim sneered at that, fists balling tightly.
"No offense, but you are a weak leader. This city needs a strong leader, which is me."
"This city was prosperous before you took over. Now all I see is terror and mayhem. My people deserve better then this."
"Really? Then let them make the choice."
He turned to the soldiers and people standing around before speaking up.
"What say you people of Baynard!? Do you want me as your leader and live the rich life? Or go back to the boring life under Manuel?"
Everyone looked at one other before slowly walking over to Manuel who smiled.
"Looks like they made their choice. Stand down now and face your punishment."
Rakim was fuming mad as he gritted his teeth. Rhaz walked up behind him and took his gun.
"I take it they teach you these things in school?" Rakim said looking at him with a sneer.
"Yep. Marine training goes a long way, wouldn't you agree?" Rhaz smiled before handing the gun to Manuel.
"Thank you kindly Rhaz. You have help my people out of a rough time. You have my deepest gratitude."
"Not a problem. Just doing what I was ordered to do."
Manuel smiled at that.
"I need that kind of loyalty. How would you like a position under me as my new commander?"
"I'll pass thank you. I just want to go back to my little cabin and relax."
Manuel laughed at that as they watched Rakim get carried away.
"Well, if you ever change your mind, I'll be waiting. In the meantime, let's get your people fixed up."
//////
"I knew we could count on you," Pierce said on the plane ride back. "The president gives you his heartfelt thanks."
"The big cheese actually thanks us? That's pretty big Colonel," Allen said looking at Rhaz.
Rhaz didn't respond as he looked out the window. His mind going back to Sarga and the hurt look he saw. He wanted to explain everything to him before getting on the plane but he wasn't at the bar and he didn't have his address. A tap on his shoulder made his ears perk and look to his right to see Allison looking at him.
"Everything okay there big fella?"
"I guess," Rhaz said softly.
"Regretting on not taking up Manuel's offer?"
"Hell no! I'm done taking orders from anybody."
Allison chuckled at that along with Rhaz before he looked over to see Ben and Walter.
"How you guys holding up?"
"Another trophy on my body. The chicks are gonna dig me," Walter said.
Everybody chuckled at that before Pierce spoke up.
"Now Colonel, as promised, that was your last mission. The president gives you his regards and hope you have a full and happy life."
"Good."
It didn't take long for the plane to land back in the states. His team bidded him farewell with tight hugs as they went back to Fort Sun awaiting further instructions. Rhaz made it back to his cabin, his shoulder covered up as he sat on the rocking chair on the porch, watching the sun set in the background. He closed his eyes, seeing Sarga in his mind. Opening his eyes, he let out a sigh and reached over to the small table besides him. Grabbing the beer can, he cracked it open. Taking a sip, he scrunched his muzzle up before tossing the can to the ground as the liquid seeped into the dirt.
"Taste like crap compared to Sarga's brew."
A grunt escaped him before getting up and walking inside. Once inside, he went to the phone and dialed a number, hearing the ringtone in the receiver. The person on the other end picked up and chuckled.
"Colonel Slade. To what do I owe this pleasure? Decided to come back?"
"Not a chance Pierce. I need a favor."
///////
Sarga let out a sigh as he placed the stools up on the bar counter. After the near death encounter a couple days ago, things were back to normal with Manuel back in the Embassy. Rakim was put in the darkest prison, never to see the light of day. Out of everything that happened that day, the only thing that ran through his mind was that kiss Rhaz gave him. It was unexpected, but by no means unpleasant. Sadly he wanted more, but he let his anger get the best of him.
"Guess I won't get the chance again."
After cleaning up, he headed out the door and locked up. He was happy now that he could walk the streets without being harassed. He walked down the street, hands in his pockets and head down. He still wish he could see Rhaz again and tell him he's sorry for yelling at him. Turning the corner, he stopped, eyes going wide at the person standing under the street lamp.
"Rhaz!?" he said shocked.
"Hey," Rhaz said softly.
"I thought you left to go back home?"
"I figured I come back and tell you everything. You deserve that at least."
They stood awkwardly in the street looking at each other before Sarga gave a soft smile.
"Care for a cup of coffee at my place then?"
"Sounds like a plan."
The door rattled hard before being flung open as Rhaz and Sarga stumbled in, muzzles locked together. Rhaz pinned him against the wall, holding him close and grinding into him with a soft growl. They broke up slowly, panting hard with their tongues lolling out.
"Let me close the door and we'll continue this in the bedroom."
Sarga turned and closed the door, letting out a yip as Rhaz held him from behind, nipping his neck softly as Sarga shivered in his hold.
"I'm sorry for deceiving you Sarga."
"I'm still a little mad at you for that."
"Well then," Rhaz murred, licking his neck softly as the canine in his grasp shivered and whined. "Maybe I can make it up to you."
A gasp escaped the canine feeling his groin get squeezed softly. His knees went weak as his sheath plumped up quickly in the tight confines of his pants.
"Seems like somebody agrees with me," Rhaz growled softly, keeping a light pressure applied making Sarga hump lightly into his grasp.
Sarga smiled, tilting his head upward and licking the underside of Rhaz's muzzle.
"You want that coffee now or later?" he chuckled.
"Funny pup."
A yip escaped Sarga as he was lifted with ease and carried to the bedroom before being placed on to the bed gentle, their muzzles locked together happily. Rhaz broke off, looking into those deep blue eyes of Sarga and tickled his chin.
"I can't apologize properly with these on," Rhaz growled softly tugging his shirt and pants.
Sarga giggled at that, lifting his shirt off showing his slim, but in shape body. The pants came next as the tip of his pink shaft poked out from its hiding place and extended quickly. His arousal was high as Rhaz inhaled it deeply with a growl. He reached down, gripping that piece of flesh lightly making the body it was attached to shiver and whine.
"Such a beautiful pup you are," Rhaz murred, using his other hand to roam his body.
Sarga could do nothing but pant and whine as Rhaz did what he wanted. He fell back onto the bed, claws gripping the sheets in pleasure. He looked down to see Rhaz still clothed and frowned a little.
"I can't be the only one like this."
"You're right. Care to help me?"
Sarga smiled before sitting up and moving closer. He lifted the shirt up, hearing a slight grunt from Rhaz which he understood why as he saw his shoulder wrapped. His ears folded as he ran a paw softly over it. Rhaz covered his paw and smiled at him.
"You got injured because of me. I'm sorry."
"This means nothing if I lost you."
Sarga's heart fluttered at that, leaning up and kissing him deeply with a murr. With a soft growl, he moved his paws south to those tented pants and slowly slipped them down, exposed that thick, black veiny cock. Pre coated the tip as Sarga pinched it lightly making Rhaz growl.
"Big boy aren't you?" Sarga murred, licking his fingers and tasting that musky pre with glee.
"Better believe it," he murred, tackling Sarga on the bed with a yip from him. "Now then, let me apologize to my pup."
He nipped his neck softly, Sarga folding his ears quickly as he scratched Rhaz behind the ears. Rhaz went down his body, licking his nipples as his claws dug into his fur lightly making Sarga shiver hard. He reached his goal as Sarga's scent overwhelmed his senses. Gently, he caressed those furry orbs, coaxing more pre out. With a murr, he trailed his tongue from the bottom of the shaft upward, collecting everything with joy.
"Such a exquisite taste. I'm going to get more."
He made another trip before taking him whole slowly. Sarga gasped feeling that hot muzzle encase him. That long, rough tongue working every inch of his cock with joy. Lewd slurping sounds escaped Rhaz's muzzle as he bobbed his head up and down, collecting every drop of pre dispensed. He moved one of his paws down to squeeze those orbs before going lower and circling that twitching anal star. With a slick pop, he released his tasty treat before going lower and lapping at the tight opening.
"Oh god," Sarga whined.
"Mmm, music to my ears," Rhaz murred, still lapping away.
By now, his lower half screamed for attention. He sat up, looking at the heavy panting canine on the bed with a grin. Sarga caught his breath before opening his eyes and letting out a murr. He sat up, leaning forward and locking lips with Rhaz, tasting his own body. His paw snaked its way down and gripped Rhaz making him tense.
"My turn big boy."
He lowered his body to that pulsing rod and licked his lips. A quick kiss was applied to the tip, a bit of pre splashing on the tip of his nose which was licked off quickly. He cupped those full balls gently before licking the meaty popsicle with joy. A moan was heard as Sarga engulfed him swiftly with one motion. Rhaz jumped at the sudden pleasure spike, eyes glazing over with lust as he looked down. He saw the happily wagging tail, ears perked on top of his head which was working him over with vigor. He reached down and scratched behind his ear earning a happy whine and increased suction. Sarga gave a couple of licks before looking up at Rhaz with half lidded eyes.
"I think you're ready now. Wouldn't you agree?" he murred, keeping his paw on his cock, stroking it lightly.
"More then ready."
Sarga gave him a wink before laying down, raising his legs. Rhaz grinned before sliding over and hooking those legs on his shoulders. He lined himself up, prodding that hole gentle getting small whines. He locked eyes with Sarga before pushing in gently with a slick pop. Sarga grunted lightly from the intrusion, relaxing his body as best as he could. He could feel that thick length spread him open like nothing he ever felt before. A sigh escaped them both when their thighs connected and Rhaz was buried eight inches deep.
"Doing okay there hun?" Rhaz asked softly.
"Oh yeah," Sarga murred. "Take me big boy."
Rhaz growled at that before pulling out slowly, relishing on the tight walls clamping down on him before pushing back in. Sarga lolled his tongue out, head back on the pillows as Rhaz thrusted into his body. His cock shot pre with each complete thrust making a small puddle on his chest. The smell of musk was overpowering bringing them more pleasure. Rhaz let out a growl, tongue lashing out and licking those cute toe pads making Sarga yip and squeeze harder out of reflex.
"Tickle....tease," Sarga whined.
Rhaz only smiled, doing it again as he felt each toe wiggle in respond. Soon he wanted more. Needed more. He dropped the legs on his shoulders to around his waist before leaning down and mashing his muzzle against Sarga's. Sarga whined, wrapping his arms around him as best as he could along with his legs. He could feel Rhaz pick up the pace, the bed creaking in response. The soft fur caressed his sensitive cock increasing his pleasure as he moved his hips in time with Rhaz's thrusts.
"Yes Rhaz.....yes."
"Fuck hun, you feel so good."
Rhaz buried his muzzle in the crook of Sarga's neck, whining in pleasure as he dug his claws into the bed, going as deep as he could. All Sarga could do was whine, whimper, and yip in pleasure as his prostate was jabbed repeatedly. He whispered into Rhaz's ear to go harder, make him feel his love. That was Rhaz's limit as he snarled viciously. He pulled out completely, leaving a confused Sarga on the bed.
"Get on all fours pup. I'm gonna claim you properly."
Sarga murred at that, turning around and presenting his tail which was raised high and wagging back and forth along with his hips.
"Claim me alpha."
Rhaz growled, gripping those shivering hips and plowing back into that snug hole making Sarga howl in pleasure. Their bodies connected with loud, muffled slaps. Rhaz going as deep as possible while pulling Sarga into him. Sarga's arms started to get weak from pleasure as he collapsed onto the bed, keeping his rear raised and whining non stop. His cock throbbed with each hilt, spitting out pre constantly.
"Feeling......good.....baby?" Rhaz panted, keeping up his thrust.
"Yes. So.....good," Sarga whined back looking over his shoulder.
Rhaz panted hard, driving his hips into Sarga with power. He never felt anything like this. Not even Amos was this tight. His balls tightened up, ready to deliver a mind blowing orgasm. He pulled Sarga up to his chest, holding him close and keeping his hips moving. Sarga yip at the sudden change but moaned loudly as Rhaz nibbled his neck.
"I can't....hold on baby. You feel....too good," Rhaz whimpered.
"Let it go.....baby. Fill me....and claim me," Sarga whimpered, clenching down on him.
Rhaz's teeth found purchase on Sarga's shoulder as he moved his paws around his waist, gripping that throbbing meat and stroking it fast. Sarga bared his teeth in a snarl, pleasure shooting up his spine. His knot formed rapidly ready to unleash at any moment. That moment came all to soon with the constant pressure on his prostate and the stroking paws of Rhaz. He clenched his eyes shut, throwing his head back and howling loudly as he came harder then he ever did before. That first shot of white rope splattered against the headboard with force as Rhaz's nose inhaled the musky odor deeply with a growl.
"Fuck," he snarled, eyes closed and body trembling hard as he tried to hold on but failed.
He locked his hips with Sarga and joined him in a howl as he filled him with his warmth. That seemed to intensify Sarga's pleasure as he squeezed down harder then normal, hoping to keep everything in his body. Once their voices died down, they sat there in bliss, Rhaz keeping pressure on Sarga's knot to simulate a tie as Sarga could only whine softly. Rhaz opened his eyes slowly, seeing the huge white puddle on the pillow and headboard with a weak chuckle.
"That's some force you have there to cum that hard."
Sarga blushed, ears folded as he chuckled.
"Well what can I say? When I have a hot gnoll pounding me good, how could I not?"
Rhaz smiled before pulling out with a weak grunt, cum seeping out the gaping hole as Saga gasped.
"A shame you can't tie me. Then I'll really feel claimed."
"How about a bite mark instead?"
"That works as well," Sarga chuckled.
They laid down in the bed, Rhaz spooning Sarga tightly making him murr and cuddle as close as possible.
"Care to work with me tomorrow at the bar? I could use a strong, handsome gnoll like yourself."
"I'll take you up on that offer. What does it pay?"
"A hot canine in bed and all the free brew you can handle."
Rhaz smiled before nipping his ear.
"An offer I can't refuse."
"Good. But be warned, I'll work you," Sarga chuckled.
"I'm use to it," Rhaz growled lightly, letting out a yawn with Sarga as they fell asleep in each other embrace.
