The guards watched in shock as Ocarina proclaimed the Ja'Kio against Sasha, who just sat upon the throne and had her head lowered before slowly rising to a stand, "Ocarina, you of all people should know the danger of that decision. A Ja'Kio is meaning to fight with honor and to the death or until you yield." Ocarina nodded to her before replying with a confident tone, "Yes, I know. And I also know that you are no coward and will without any limit go to the extend of killing me, if need be. That is why I am doing this." Ocarina shouted it right to Sasha in her most clear voice ever, "You are no longer fit for the throne! Your days of ruling the dead is over. It is time for a new queen to make her seat upon the throne of the dead!"
Sasha grabbed the air in front of her before unsheathing her long sword, the green metal shining as an attempt to intimidate Ocarina, but soon the sheath had been pulled off and Sasha stabbed the weapon into the wall, "Since you want it to be honorable, I will not hold back." With a single snap of her fingers, the throne room soon disappeared and what could be seen now was a complete darkness and Ocarina looked around, "W-Where are we?"
Sasha looked at Ocarina before the massive burst of power erupted from her and Ocarina could see with the slight illumination of Sasha's aura that they were in a snowy landscape and Sasha replied with her four eyes glaring at Ocarina, "Hu'O'Zevan, the realm of frozen darkness. This is the perfect place for us to fight without risking any destruction. This very land itself is always renewing itself. The only thing capable of damaging it is something not of this planet, like an meteorite."
Ocarina looked at Sasha before nodding as Sasha called out, "And now. Ja'Kio accepted!" With the words said, Sasha charged right over to Ocarina and managed to deliver a punch straight to Ocarina's jaw, sending the vampire into a tree that barely had a dent made to it from the impact. Ocarina looked at Sasha and gave a cocky smirk, "Come on, are your fists made of cotton? That tickled." Sasha looked at Ocarina before lifting her hand to fire off a slow moving bolt of energy, but Ocarina didn't even bother with keeping an eye on it as she quickly moved to the side and had Sasha hit the tree with her fist, the force of the fist making connection with the tree causing splinters to fire out from it like from the epicenter of an earthquake.
Having been left an opportunity to attack, Ocarina took her chance and swung her scythe at Sasha, making a connection with her arm, but the sharp edge only slid across the surface of her body as Sasha kicked her hard in the gut, enough to send Ocarina into another tree. Ocarina opened an eye to look as Sasha came towards her and with one hand glowing, she smirked, "Pick a card." Sasha sped up before throwing a punch at Ocarina, but missed as Ocarina had managed to escape using an all too familiar trick used by Sasha's younger sister Carolyne.
Sasha jumped backwards until multiple cards appeared around her, all showing Ocarina ready to strike with her scythe. Sasha closed her eyes before striking at one of the cards, just as the bolt of energy struck the back of one of the cards, forcing Ocarina out of it and into Sasha's hand that grabbed her by the throat, "I knew you would use that trick against me. That is why I fired that little bolt. It was to distract you from it and make you forget about that bolt."
Ocarina felt the air running out as she kicked and punched Sasha, noticing that her body was smooth again, using a kick as a distraction, Ocarina managed to deliver a swing against Sasha's left arm and cut a wound open, making Sasha grin, "Oh, you managed to actually hurt me..." Sasha's words were cut short as her left arm fell limp as Ocarina's scythe was draining out part of the soul connected to the arm.
Sasha threw Ocarina straight into the nearby tree before grabbing the limp arm with a shock, "Gaceia's soul reaper blessing." Sasha looked up at Ocarina before her eyes turned completely red, "You dare to use that against your own mother? Ocarina Angeria, I swear to the Creators that I will kill you!" Ocarina watched in slight terror as Sasha's body switched from the purple demonic look to a dark blue one, and Sasha's long hair was now like a blackish-blue night sky and her eyes were completely white and suddenly the left arm came back to life again as Sasha grunted, "You forced me to even my soul through my body."
Ocarina knew this meant trouble now as Sasha's body soon fired out four orbs of light that flew at her, forcing her to leap to the side before a punch connected with her jaw and this one actually hurt. Ocarina flew through the snow and kept sliding down a hill with Sasha rushing after her, "Oh no, I am not done yet!" Ocarina had expected this however and soon struck the icy hill with her scythe and with the momentum swung herself back up after pulling the scythe free in the process, her left hand glowing, alarming Sasha what was up, "Oh no, you don't." Sasha spun around to lift her right arm to dodge a clone of Ocarina swinging the scythe at her, but that had been her mistake when Ocarina came by her and swung twice to hit both of Sasha's arms, draining more soul out of them as Sasha growled loudly, "You little bitch!" Ocarina smirked at the name-calling, "Well, I am your daughter."
Sasha closed her eyes before spreading the wings she had always been so proud of, leaving herself open yet again as Ocarina's voice finally rung for her, "Pick a card." As time came to a near halt, a big sphere of cards formed around Sasha and she looked around herself before all the vampire bunnies on the cards leaned out to strike her with their scythes, Sasha's growls of pain sounding louder as they kept on swinging more and more until finally the time began to go at normal pace, but Sasha made impact with the ground so hard that all the snow within a radius of 100 feet was blown away.
Sasha felt how her arms, legs and lower part of her body were all paralyzed before she adjusted her soul to regain control of them again. The sound of another impact near her alerted her as Sasha stood up and walked over to Ocarina, who laid on the ground with both her own wings now bloody, her arms having been nearly broken off from her body, her legs twisted and broken, but Ocarina looked at Sasha and felt herself being picked up to look into her mother's eyes, "I couldn't defeat you. Maybe it is too soon for me to face you. I lost, do what you want with me, mom."
Sasha looked at Ocarina before a smile slowly creeped to her face and she began to laugh, making Ocarina look confused, "What is so funny?" Sasha stopped laughing for a moment, "Look at you, Ocarina. You are knowing that you have lost, and you ask me to end you? Look at me right now. After all you have done to me now and even pulled off an attack I didn't expect you to, lowered my power almost back to what I began with, you think I will end you for that?" Ocarina was even more confused before Sasha laid Ocarina's head on the side and bit softly into her neck, drinking of Ocarina's endless supply of blood, a blessing from her side before the power came back to her, but she could hear that Ocarina was softly churring from the bite.
Ceasing her meal when she was done, Sasha put her own head to the side and allowed Ocarina to bite down to feast upon her blood, her body slowly regaining its strength and also allowing Sasha to heal her up. Once Ocarina was back in shape again, Sasha snapped her fingers to bring them back to the throne room and Sasha just turned around to walk to the wall, pulling her blade free before sheathing it as she walked right over to Ocarina and kneeled down onto one knee, "Today, know that I, Bloodletter Sasha of the Shadowtail Tribe, pledge my allegiance to Ocarina Angeria." Sasha waved Melody and Sonata closer before looking at them, "Ocarina Angeria and Melody Harmony, and the guardian Sonata Harmony, I hereby pronounce you the new leading rulers of the dead. Long may you stand, long may you lead!"
The guards all cheered and Ocarina looked at Sasha and then at the throne, lifting Melody up into her arms before she ascended the stairs leading to it. Once at the top of the stairs, Ocarina turned around and took seat upon the throne as the lush jungle grew even more lush around them and Ocarina looked at Melody and then at Sonata who had just walked up the stairs to the throne before Sasha turned around to leave, only to be hindered by Ocarina's voice calling out, "Guards, do not let her leave yet." Sasha looked in confusion as two guards grabbed her and Ocarina smiled, "Mom, even if I might be the new queen, I still want you to stay here. I want you to be my advisor." Sasha turned around before kneeling, "It will be my honorable duty, my liege." Ocarina looked at her and then spoke to Melody and Sonata, "This is gonna be something I have to get used to, I think."
The End.
