She'd watched him for months now, learned his routes and watched him live his life. She watched as he headed out from the eastern gate of the humans village and headed out towards the paddocks as usual. There were livestock to tend to and produce to check.
her eyes tracked his progress throughout the morning and she watched as he ate dried beef when the sun hung right over the valley.
The dragoness flicked her tail and shuffled her hind-paws idly. The pain of realizing how alone she was in the world had driven her to watch the humans in the nearby village out of spite and envy, she was smart enough not to risk going down there and exacting her revenge on the species that had single-handedly wiped her race from the face of the earth.
But she'd grown interested in this one human, who seemed to be selfless in everything he did. She had once spotted him in an alley giving his food to poorly women who squatted, and other times causing himself injury in order to help the livestock such as untangling the idiotic sheep that had gotten stuck in the barbed fencing, he'd sliced his own hands open yet freed the silly beast and left with a smile on his face.
She knew it was not natural to spend most of her days watching a human and that the season was getting closer and closer to ending and that she should be scouring the land for a mate, but her common sense told her that she was the only dragon left, either in the land or on the earth, wasting her life looking was not an option.
Instead she fueled the strange activities further, letting them fester into this co-vert operation she was in right now.
Today was different. The human male entered the shack on the edge of the forests, far from the prying eyes of town, and she could not resist the opportunity to get closer to this human that caught her attention so.
Bowing to curiosity, she made her way towards the shack, keeping hidden the whole distance.
As she approached the small log shack and peered in through a missing shingle on the roof, she watched the human tend to a fox pup he'd obviously found. He gently fed what appeared to be a glass tube of white liquid into the jaws of the infant and cooed quietly.
Feeling a pang of envy, the dragoness began to feel hate towards the species that had destroyed her chances of being a happy mother, to have hatchlings she could raise. And her fore paws came up, ready to crush the shack with the human in it, but then she stopped herself. Instead, taking a more... passive approach to easing the pain. The tip of her smooth and unadorned tail gently brushed over the door of the shack, alerting the human who put the fox back into the nicely padded box it was kept in and opened the door.
She continued to drag her tail over the logs and managed to draw the human out and around to the back of the house.
By then she'd backed away into the darkness and kept luring the male in, occassionally whimpering softly.
She stopped in a clearing as the human came out and lifted his hands to his face to protect it from the glare of the sun reflecting off of the dragoness' diamond white scales. While he was stunned, the dragoness snatched him up and took off from the clearing, kicking up a small whirlwind of pine needles and dirt.
As she made her way back to her den, the human struggled frantically until he saw the drop below, even if he was to pry her claws apart and free himself, he'd fall to a gruesome death.
It took mere moments for them to reach the dragoness' den, she'd led the human out far from the village and closer to the safety of her secluded den. She came down, her claws clacking on the rock beneath her and she stepped into the gloomy darkness of her den. Stopping only to huff out a small puff of flame from between her jaws that lit a network of torchs before sitting down on her haunches and finally releasing the human.
He instantly fell to his knees and spoke with a shaky voice, "Please spare me, I am but a lowly peasant and the animals require my care."
The dragoness looked down at the human, not surprised that he was scared she'd harm him.
"I will not hurt you, nor eat you. Humans are too chewy for my liking and I much prefer the taste of a doe."
He lifted his head, "Y-You won't?"
"No, you have another purpose for me. Listen and learn." She settled down comfortably and nudged the human down himself.
"Your kind has annihilated mine, removed it from these lands, possibly the earth itself, I just might be the very last dragon in existence. I've been careful about where I hunt, where I sleep and where I drink. Most of all I have learned the daily routines of most humans and know what to expect from your kind in certain situations. I have lived a lonely three decades, that was when I last saw another of my kind, and they were being butchered, so imagine how horrible it was to see that. Your kind has stolen from me, it has wounded me and it has defiled sacred land that once belonged to dragons. I ask, what did many of us deserve for that? We are peaceful creatures most of the time, we only kill what we need to eat, or if we are attacked by dangerous creatures, we live secluded lives, yet your kind sought out our dens and slaughtered us, asleep, awake, infants, mothers, mates, no matter, we were slain. Imagine the pain I experience every day knowing I will not likely see another friendly face again, never mate, never have my own young, never teach them the laws of the earth and watch them grow until they leave the den to seek out their own. It is a hell you cannot believe, yet I have not pillaged any human provinces, nor have I harmed a single human soul, but I still get punished every day."
She paused breifly, letting it all sink into the human's mind as she hoped she had gotten his dialect correct. It had been a long time since she had spoken either her own or the human's language.
"I had hoped you would understand, that you might be a human who would show compassion and care towards a misunderstood species. I have been wounded deeper than the flesh and it will take great strength to begin repairing the damage."
The human bowed his head, "I am ashamed for my kind... we have done wrongs that are unforgiveable. You show mercy great dragoness, and understanding, you want us to atone for the mistakes of our ancestors or those among us who still live since those days... is there anything I can do to help ease the anguish you suffer?"
The dragoness could see that the human spoke the truth, he was ashamed and he did want to help, just as she had hoped he would. Her dangerous and spontaneous planning had succeeded so far.
"It is too late for what is truly required... but you've already done one thing to help ease this burden I bear by listening to me and giving me fair chance to show you things from our side, there is but one other thing I can think of that would help,"
She leaned forward, her voice lowering to a gentle whisper.
"I am Elmyra," she dipped her head and rested the tip of her snouth on his chest for a moment before pulling back slightly.
"My name is Hynsten, Elmyra, it is a beautiful name." He bowed his head forward, his hand over his chest in a sign of respect.
"Thank you Hynsten the kind. This thing I wish of you, I will only take if you are willing to do it. I wish for you to mate with me, it will amend the one thing that was stolen from me that I crave most and will make me feel loved again, a feeling I have not experienced for far too long."
Hynsten did not leap up and shriek as Elmyra half expected him to do, instead he bowed his head.
"I am willing but, I am a human and you a dragon, it is not possible... alas such a gift is something I cannot give."
Elmyra's rough tongue slipped out from between her jaws and she gently licked his forehead, "With magic, we can."
With that, she exhaled over the human, her breath seemed to crystilize in the air and wrap itself around Hynsten. Elmyra wrought up an image of what she desired the magic to do in her mind's eye and stepped back, giving the human room as the shifting mass of veiled human began to grow rapidly, the vaguely veiled human features warping into draconic ones.
Lethally long claws sliced through the veil as Hynsten reared up on his hind legs and spread his wings, shattering the magical veil, completing the transformation.
"I-I... I've become a dragon!" Hynsten cried, turning his head and inspecting his new body, the purple scales dimmed around his eyes to a very light lavander so as not to contrast with his Sapphire blue eyes. Those, his voice and dialect were the only things that he had kept from his human form during the morphosis.
"Yes, now it is possible, are you still willing? The transformation is only temporary as my magic has never been strong and time is slipping away as we talk."
Without hesitation Hynsten nodded, moving up alongside the dragoness, he cautiously darted his tongue out and licked her cheek.
"I am willing, Elmyra."
She led him in deeper, into the warmth of the cave. Where she told him to wait a moment, she leaned forward on her chest, resting the bulk of the weight of her front on her fore arms while she held her hips up high and her tail up.
"I have not mated obviously and I believe you have not mated either by the look on your face. It is okay Hynsten, just listen to your instincts, they know best what to do."
Hynsten nodded his great head, finally removing his gaze from Elmyra's sharp Ruby colored eyes and focussed on the task he had before him. Abandoning all his worries and the problems that rose from his human mind of what he was about to do, he listened and was guided by a force he'd never known to have exist.
Elmyra shuddered in delight as she felt the young dragon's tongue run along the length of her slit, slightly dipping in deeper each time as it lathered saliva on to help begin the lubrication process. Her mind abandoned all its worries and she focused on the feelings that rose up from her sex, a place she hadn't even tended to except when cleaning herself.
With a nod of approval, she instructed Hynsten, "Now, run your tongue in and lather my inner muscles before you finish."
A grunt from Hynsten indicated he'd heard, his mind was clouding over as he was abandoning himself more and more to the lust and desire to fix a wounded creature. His tongue darted in deeper and he lathered her spasming inner muscles with saliva which brought forth her own lubricant, the juice got on his tongue before he drew out and he greedily drew his tongue back into his mouth and tasted her, it was sweet and strong. Her scent was heavy in the air and all he could think about was going further.
"Now..." Elmyra whimpered in anticipation.
Without further delay, Hynsten rose up and put his weight on her back, holding her sides gently in his paws, her tail slipped out to his right as his throbbing member came up between her legs and pressed against her scaled folds. Then he pushed up and in, almost dismayed at the lack of resistance until her muscles clenched onto him tightly, he grinned, something more animalistic than he was used to, and drew back until a mere half inch of him was all that was left in Elmyra before he thrust again.
Elmyra's eyes were glazing over as her body was being granted its wish, her mind was foggy and all she wanted was more pleasure. She began panting, her tongue lolling out between some of her teeth as she felt her body lift up with each powerful thrust. The pure ecstacy of it all was so much and so amazing for her.
Hynsten was by now, stretching the membrane that stood between him and taking Elmyra, with his next thrust, driving eighteen inches of his twenty-three inch long cock, he broke the last defence causing Elmyra to gasp momentarily for air before she went back into her quickened panting.
He thrust harder and harder, their burning crotches meeting with eahc thrust now as his cock brushed over the far reaches of her egg chamber, the womb.
Still holding onto her soft sides, the white scales beneath his purple scales contrasting, he felt himself nearing the extents of his abilities, he needed to finish.
Elmyra was worse off, she could feel the magic fading and her body was exhausted, barely able to hold herself up now. She gasped for air and then said, "Hynsten... fill me... now,"
With that, Hynsten thrust three more times, each thrust delivering a more potent blast of pleasure to the pair than the last until the two climaxed together. Just before Elmyra's muscles clenched, her juices trickled out along with Hynsten's saliva and pre. And Hynsten came hard within her as her muscles squeezed his cock.
They sang their joy to each other in raw language, guttural throat sounds before Elmyra collapsed beneath Hynsten who bucked a few more times until he lay still.
They floated on a cloud of ecstacy, Hynsten feeling all the more deliriously happy and fulfilled now that he'd made the dragoness's wish come true, and Elmyra's joy was increased by the weight and warmth of a strong male atop her, she wished she could feel like this again, but the magic began to completely wear out by then and she watched weakly as her mate rapidly returned to his human form, a strange mark burned into his chest before she fell asleep, the exhaustion getting to her right after he passed out.
"This human... is special."
Several Months Later...
Hynsten was camping a mere mile from the mountain he was sure Elmyra had made her den in after she had nearly been discovered by bandits. His fire was small and he only cooked a small portion of the food he'd brought along. His conservative ways had led to him being able to sustain himself with half the amount one of the adventurers that had come through the small village seemed to carry for their treks.
He found himself reflecting on the past months since he had met Elmyra the dragoness that had turned his world upside down, there hadn't been a moment passed that he had not wondered how the dragoness was doing, even as he busied himself with chores he couldn't take his mind off her. Upon asking some of the other boys he'd grown up with who had wed, he was told that what he was feeling was love, or just a strong desire to see this person he was feeling so strongly about.
It was clear to Hynsten that he had to follow his heart. He had then concocted a half truth and told his friends to spread the word he was going out to track the bear that had been attacking the convoys that came from the east. While it was a good and believeable cover up for the truth, he could not help but feel guilty for lying to his people.
He'd asked the elders why dragons were so hated and feared, prompting rare and interesting information from them at times, however each time they uttered the name dragon in disgust, Hynsten could only feel his sorrow for the pain that had been inflicted on innocent dragons grow, until eventually it ate away at him like a flesh eating disease.
Worst of all was the suspicion, people accused him of trickery and sneaking about and poking his nose where it wasn't allowed. The whole time he tried his hardest to cover up the mark Elmyra had left on his chest, her magic had branded him, and while it had been unintentional, it had cursed him.
Though as he had left the village and was about to delve into the evergreen forest, he saw a collumn of soldiers marching towards his home, the gates opening for them as they marched in, with their captains upon fine steeds, their blades sheathed.
Now he was staring up at the intimidating climb that awaited him, the only thing that stood between him and the truth, whether or not he did feel deeply for Elmyra more than he had known.
Thunder clapped from behind the mountain and Hynsten gathered his things, covering the embers of his fire with dirt before he moved towards the cliffs.
He'd searched along the base of the mountain, looking for a safer way up, but not only was this the most direct route, it was one of the safest ones, and that was saying something when he knew some of those ledges would collapse under enough pressure.
By the time the storm was over his part of the mountain, he'd only gotten up a third of the cliff. The rain began to pound the earth around him and threatened to freeze him as it trickled down the back of his coat and down his spine, his boots filled with the ice cold liquid but he kept reaching up for that next handhold.
Thunder rumbled overhead, the sky itself seemed to want to defy his will, but he wasn't having any of it. He was well past the half way mark when the ledge he was standing on gave way to his weight and the mud's weight, he cried out in shock and then pain as his body dropped and slammed into the rough cliff-face.
With no footholds nearby, he struggled, trying to lift himself up wiht just his arms but to no avail, he slacked and hung on, the water making the rock harder and harder to grip with each passing moment.
Finally he called, "ELMYRA!"
But his voice was drowned out by thunder, the dark clouds above him seemed to intensify their downpour of rain.
Lightning flashed nearby, far too close for Hynsten's comfort and he bellowed, putting his voicebox to good use, "ELMYYYYYYYYYYYRAA!" His throat ached from the cry, and he knew that his energy was spent, he would only be able to grip the rock for a few moments more before he'd slip and fall to his death.
A strong gust of wind blew into him, battering him even more and he groaned, not understanding why this storm wanted him so dead until he felt the strong but gentle grip of someone he knew, the grip he'd never forget.
Elmyra's scales shone brightly for a moment as lightning crackled breifly before the light faded and she defied the will of the storm and flew them both up the last stretch and into the cave set safely under an overhang.
The dragoness shook herself before entering the den and kept Hynsten safely between her paws against her chest. Hynsten wrapped his arms around her index claw, his grip was feeble and his eyes dim from exhaustion, but he heard Elmyra nevertheless.
"You stupid fool, you could have gotten yourself killed! Not even I would brave that weather!" she hissed to him.
Hynsten groaned as she squeezed him slightly before responding, "You would have... had you been me..." with that, he fell unconscious in her paws causing her to feel guilty for scolding him like a hatchling. She knew exactly why he had come and she knew that she'd have done it to had she not been in a difficult situation herself.
She lay the human down gently next to an equally frail looking creature, white and lavander scales covering the length of its body, large fore-paws and a single spine on her tail.
The hatchling rolled over, a fore-arm draped over her father's chest as she snorted before settling down again.
Elmyra gave a smile, they were a family and it seemed not even mother-nature could stop them from being together.
