The Cops’ New Toys

A Police Corruption and Mafia story by:

Marciana Abbatelli (Marci) & Ra'Arsenio Basilio (Arsen)

Part 7: The Family

Marci smiled back at him, and then rummaged in the drawer for the perfect set of panties. Something racy but sexy was being called for, and grabbing them, she moved back to the closet holding the panties and putting the dress back. Once the dress was hung up, she stepped into a pair of red panties, drawing them up her legs smoothly and slowly enough to tease. It wasn’t until they were settled in place that the truth of them was revealed. They were low rise panties, but when she turned her back towards Arsen, he saw that the back was split, giving access to his favorite spot. She let him appreciate the access the pair would give him later for a moment, then stepped into two clear spandex tubes that pressed her fur down to her legs, then into the pants. The plastic tubes were then pulled out from the bottom of her pants, leaving her fur smooth under the tight leather. The last thing she needed under tight leather was her fur pushing the wrong way, or breaking.

Once the pants were on, she pulled the halter on. Her back was left bare, except for the area where the bottom hem of the shirt was and a thin strap around her neck. Going back to the dresser, she picked up her brush and started on her tail. That fluffy appendage was just above the top hem of her pants. She brushed it until it gleamed, then turned her attention to her hair, brushing it until it gleamed. Lifting a plain gold necklace up, she put it on with a sigh and a gentle shake of her head. It wasn’t what she felt the outfit needed, but it would do. For now. She unfastened the gold and emerald bracelet, setting it in the jewelry box before lifting out another tennis bracelet, this one gold with diamonds. She would need help putting it on, so she laid it on the dresser for a moment.

Going back to the closet, she pulled out her LouBoutin Botalili boots with their 120mm heels and slid them on. Picking out her purse was simple enough. A black leather purse on a gold link strap that would hold her cards, her ID, any money she might need and her phone. Finally she was ready to go, and this was just to get breakfast so they could start their day. Well, other than that bracelet. Going back to the dresser, she picked it up and went over to Arsen. “Can you put this on me, please, Arsen?”

Arsen rose when she moved to get the panties out of her drawer, and collected his clothing from around the room where he had stripped off the night before. Looking over toward her a moment later he appraised the underwear she had chosen with an approving eye that said he enjoyed the sight and was pleased. She knew that later he would want to be using her bottom, and she was already planning for it it seemed. Once she moved on to her other clothing, he too dressed once again, pulling on his shirt and buttoning it, then sliding his own underwear and pants onto his legs, fitting them snugly over his legs and having to pause a moment to adjust his package to fit. Though he was no longer erect, he could feel that his balls were slightly swollen and his sheath thicker than normal. He would definitely need release that evening.

He had settled his own necklace around his neck. A pair of golden chains in a more manly style. Finally ready he simply sat back on the bed and waited for her to finish, reaching out for her wrist and taking the bracelet. Arsen deftly looped it over her fur and fastened the clasp, then nodded, “There we go. Now, I’m famished. Not used to eating this late. When I’m working, I’m usually up and out by 7.”

She smiled and nodded to him. “Thank you,” she murred, her tail wagging behind her. “I’m usually heading to work by this time myself. I think between everything that took place last night, and my lessons in the shower this morning, we got thrown off schedule.” Her paw slid into his as they headed out of the room and she lead him to the dining room, where 4 rambunctious male wolfdog Anthros wrestled with each other. “What would you like for breakfast, Arsen? I’ll put in the order with the butler so it can get fixed faster while we deal with the heathens.”

He stood up and let her take his hand and lead him from the room toward the dining room of the home. He would have to learn the layout of the place. His own tail swished lazily behind him as the daughter of the house was his guide, and soon they were stepping into the main eating area, where her 4 brothers were playing with one another. Judging by the way she had referred to the four boys, Arsen had gathered that they were a handful, but she loved them anyway. “I’ll have a fruit salad, pastry and coffee, and perhaps a small portion of meat, whatever you have.”

She nodded and kissed him before turning to the butler and placing their breakfast order. Her own was similar, though she had eggs with hers as well. She knew it was going to be a long day, and she would need all the energy to do what he was thinking about later tonight. Turning back to her brothers, she saw they were staring at her like she’d grown a second head. “What? I’m not allowed to kiss the male the Papai said I’m marrying in six weeks?”

She gave her brothers a mock-glare, then motioned to them. “Get over here, you hoodlums, and meet your soon-to-be brother-in-law,” she ordered them, and they hurried to obey her. They knew that this was something important, if Papai had decreed what she was claiming. And not long behind them was Papai and Mamãe, coming down the stairs, with Papai leaning on Mamãe as he walked. Donatello spotted them first and sprang off, running over to help Papai down the rest of the stairs.

Arsen kissed her in return, leaning over just slightly to reach her lips and then standing straight again while she moved toward the butler to put in their orders. He had not met her brothers yet, obviously, and figured that he would let her do the introductions, since to him the quadruplets looked nearly identical and he would have no idea who was who. He chuckled at her response to their stares, “Your sister has been seeing to it that I am very welcomed into the family.” he stated with a smile, “I’ve looked forward to meeting you four.” he offered a paw for them to shake if they wished.

She looked over her shoulder, seeing that Donatello had just run over to help their father, then looked back at the others. “Raphael, MichaelAngelo and Leonardo are the ones standing here. Donatello went to help Papai so Mamãe doesn’t have to be the only one holding him upright.” The boys in turn stepped forward to shake his paw, then Raphael did what any Mafia-raised brother would do. “If you do anything to hurt my sister, you’re dead.”

Arsen in turn, introduced himself with his full name and a ‘Good to meet you’. When he came to Raphael, an eyebrow raised a fraction was Arsen’s first response to his words. Clearly there was a little bit of a dominance game going on here. Perhaps friendly, perhaps not so much. Male dogs tended to try and be alpha over feline males. Not so with Arsen of course. He leaned forward just slightly, “Cross me, and you won’t have the chance to follow through with that threat.” His eyes bored into Raphael’s for a moment, then he smiled and let out a chuckle and a shake of his head, leaving the young male to wonder if it was a joke or serious. Giancarlo thanked his son for the aid in coming down the stairs and, after coughing once, said, “Now, Raphael, I’ve decided upon this male as your Sister’s husband. I don’t want to hear of any trouble…”

Marci ducked her head against Arden’s chest, shaking slightly. She was doing her best to hide her laughter from her brothers. She shifted slightly and lifted her head to nuzzle into his neck softly, inhaling his scent, trying to get herself under control again. Once she had, she lifted her head and looked at Arsen, the merriment in her eyes being masked before she faced her brothers again. Her serious eyes faced them when she turned back to her family, her body tucked tightly against Arsen's.

“Arsen and I talked long into the evening last night. We’ve agreed on the Basilica for our wedding, and the resort for the reception and wedding night. The honeymoon is still being decided on, but we have agreed on a wedding dress, a reception dress, and then a dress for whatever occasion we need it for. The bouquet is white roses and blue orchids, and the tuxedos are going to have accents of royal blue,” she looked at her father.

“I need to make a call, if I may be excused for a moment,” she said, turning her eyes up to Arsen, then to her father.

Arsen’s arm went about her waist as she leaned into his chest. Seeing as her back was exposed by the top she wore, his paw touched her fur and skin and he kept a gentle pressure there at the small of her back. He could feel her shaking and thought that she was laughing, but he couldn’t be sure until she looked up at him. He raised his eyebrow again, but said nothing and instead looked over at her family.

When she asked if she could be excused he nodded, “Of course.” He said, releasing her, and then her father also nodded, “Yes Marci.” With both male’s permission, there was nothing stopping her. Arsen slipped his paws into the pockets of his jeans and glanced at her brothers again, “So, I noticed that the four of you are named after the great Italian painters…..and turtles…”

Marci stepped out of the room and to the stairs where she made a call to the resort. After making sure no one was booked for the reef room, she made arrangements for it to be occupied indefinitely. It was now theirs to use anytime they had to stay over at the resort or when they might need a break from stress. She also booked the resort for the reception in six weeks, after her wedding at the Basilica. Smiling to herself, she hung up the phone after letting the manager know she would be in later that afternoon, then headed back to the informal dining room. Just in time to hear…

“We weren’t named after no stupid cartoon turtles!” coming from Raphael. Shaking her head, she moved to Arsen’s side, and smiled up at him. She watched her father and mother head to the table, then gave an imperceptible nod to Arsen to follow with her a half step behind him. The boys brought up the rear of the group. Once they were all sitting, she leaned towards Arsen and whispered, “The reef room is now booked indefinitely for us to use whenever we need it. As is the resort for the reception.”

Raphael still spluttered over the perceived insult of being named after fictional turtles, even ones that were as cool as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were. The boys had seen the recent remake movies and loved them, and were often cavorting around pretending to be them.

“No, I’m sure that you weren’t.” Arsen answered, “But there’s nothing wrong with being a ninja as well as a great painter, is there?” He chuckled as they sat down, he beside Marci. The feline leaned in toward the young woman that was to be his wife and gave her a nod and, not needing to say more for now. His attention returned to the four brothers, “In all seriousness though, what do you four enjoy doing? I’m sure that you all have your own interests as well as being ninjas and painters in your spare time, of course.”

Shortly after they sat down, breakfast was brought out to them and set in front of them. Small bowls of fruit, including grapes, figs, cherries, berries and a plum. Fluffy scrambled eggs for Marciana. A light fluffy pastry one everyone’s plate. And for both Marci and Arsen, a thick slice of ham each. Freshly brewed coffee was set for each of them. Everyone started eating, then Raphael spoke up, “I guess I’ve gotten into the video games Tio Guistino got us. Bioshock Infinite. Advanced Warfare. Dark Souls. Stuff like that. And girls…. There’s this one b*coughs* girl that has caught my attention, but other than Mamãe and Marci, I haven’t talked to girls much.”

The others tended to bring up the same things, but they were more circumspect about using the B-word in front of their mother and sister. But then, they brought up sports. Or at least Donatello and Leonardo did. It seemed that Donatello was a swimmer who idolized Gregorio Paltrinieri, who held the European records for the 800m and 1500m freestyle, and Leonardo was a football player. His favorite team was F.C. Internazionale Milano and his hero in the game was Éder Citadin Martins.

Arsen liked his own share of video games, so he could easily relate with the boys on those subjects. As for sports, he had never really been into any in particular, though he was physically active when he was their age and had played some sports in school. It just wasn’t something that he had really looked at as what he wanted for a future. That didn’t mean he found the swimming and football interests of the boys uninteresting. Arsen felt it was important that he do his best to be amiable with the boys, and having four young males like them around was actually something out of the ordinary for the feline, so he found it refreshing…

“Nothing wrong with Video games and Girls...or sports either.” He mused, trying to engage in conversation as much as possible as they ate their meal together.

The boys looked at him, then grinned, but before they could say anything, Marci’s eyes twinkled with suppressed merriment. “Maybe MichaelAngelo and Raphael could show Arsen what they're good at next time we're here. I want you boys to like Arsen, and not just because he’ll be my husband. But he will be part of this family and we're going to be at odds with others in the families for my marriage to someone outside the families. As Papai said,” she paused as she gazed at the oldest of the boys, her eyes going serious again. “No trouble in the family. Save the troubles for those that oppose us. I know you’ve been at odds with Salvatore Romano and his younger brothers, Raphael, for Sal’s comments about me. But let Arsen deal with Sal while you boys handle his brothers.” Her words had the right effect on the boys, guiding them towards a topic that was guaranteed to bond them with their soon-to-be brother-in-law - protection Marci from other families and other outsiders.

Arsen ate more from his meal, all the while listening to the conversation that Marci was having with her brothers. He knew that he was an ‘outsider’ here, and he might not even have had a chance of marrying Marci in the first place if he had not convinced her father that an alliance with him and his connections would be for their benefit, as well as convincing him of his passion for the young canine lass. As it stood he knew that Marci and her father were on his side, he assumed that her mother was too, which left only the four boys.

It also stood to reason that the other mafia families would see his addition to their family as a threat. The other families would have hoped for a marriage to her to strengthen ties. This would be an affront to that. That might even put Marci in some kind of danger. Arsen’s pointed ears twitched and he looked at his wife-to-be, “What’s this?” He asked, the hair on the back of his neck bristling, as he then glanced toward the boys, “Raphael, has someone said something about Marci?”

Raphael nodded, and looked at Marci, apologizing for what he was about to say in front of her. She gave her brother a nod, acknowledging his upset at having to bring this up, then closed her eyes and looked down into her lap, more than hating Salvatore at this moment. Thaís saw her daughter’s reaction and patted her husband’s paw. “Dear, if you don’t mind, I think I should take Marci to the computer room and go over what they’ve chosen so far. This way, you males can talk freely without worrying about abusing our delicate sensibilities.” With that, Thaís rose to her hindpaws and took her daughter’s paw in hers, drawing the younger fur to her hindpaws as well.

Marci looked to Arsen, leaning down to kiss him. “I’ve heard it all before, Arsen. Raphael won’t be telling you anything I don’t already know. This is more of something for you and them to deal with than me or Mamãe. I trust you to deal with the Romanos accordingly.”

Arsen had the feeling that he wasn’t going to like this, not one bit. And that he was not only going to be expected to do something about what he would be told, but that he would most definitely want to do something about it. Despite the fact that he had only met Marci the day before, and had been only eyeing her for long before that, he was already fiercely attached to her. They would be married, all his dreams were coming true, and he now ‘possessed’ her in a way. She would forever be his as soon as the formalities of marriage were over. He was not going to permit someone from another family to malign her.

He nodded at Marci and kissed her in return, then waited for her to depart with her mother before turning back to the boys and glancing at Giancarlo. He folded his arms across his chest, “Well?”

After the femmes were gone from the room, Raphael spoke up again. “Papai wasn’t there when it happened, but my irmãos (brothers - Portuguese) and I were. Salvatore was in Marci’s class at school and felt that she should fawn over him. After all, in his mind, it was foregone that she would be marrying him when they were of age. Instead, Marci not only didn’t fawn over him, but she wouldn’t even give him the time of day, and bested him in every class. Her grades were magnifico (magnificent - Italian), although I’m going to take a stab at the fact that you know this stuff about her already. At sixteen, Marci was running the resort by herself. It’s her pride and joy.” He smiled proudly at his sister’s accomplishments, then shook his head and got serious again. “Anyway, the four of us were at the resort one day, learning from her how to run it, should we need to step in at anytime. MichaelAngelo was a natural at running the resort, but the rest of us were slow in catching on. It just didn’t have any flair to us.”

At this point, MichaelAngelo spoke up, “Just call me Michi. Anyway, while we were behind the door of the kitchen, having been shadowing the waiters to learn the job, we heard him came in. We watched from the doorway as that jackal paraded himself towards Marci. Her guards were there and stepped in front of her, keeping him from touching her. ‘Well, well, well. If it isn’t the ice bitch,’ was how he greeted her. She gave him her coldest look, turned on her heels and walked off with Adriano behind her. Fredo had just joined her guards, so Sal didn’t know him yet. ‘Once I marry that ice bitch, she’ll thaw, or my hands will be leaving bruises on her,’ we heard him mutter to Fredo. Before Fredo hauled him away from the kitchen door, we heard more of his disgusting remarks about raping Marci, beating her, even making her get a lobotomy ‘cause my wife is NOT going to be smarter than me’. All his details were rather graphic and ugly as hell.”

“None of us were going to tell her what he said,” Donatello took over the telling, “but unfortunately, we weren’t the only ones in the kitchen who heard that offal. Signore Cisternino heard as did the waiters. Signore Cisternino is completely devoted to Marci as her employee at the resort, and has been since she lured him from his previous job. He would never say anything to hurt her, but some of the waiters were talking, and she overheard them. By that time, though, the story had grown into much more than it was. But she knew we’d been there and confronted us. A word of advice: Never lie to Marci. She can tell and she boxes ears hard. We ended up having to tell her what was said.”

And finally, Leonardo spoke up, “Signore Cisternino told us that if she ever needed help or anything, he was there for her. He didn’t have much when Marci hired him, his ex taking every cent he made until one of the soldiers took care of her. Now, he has money to waste on whatever he wants, but he’s saving it. He said it’s a backup for her, if she needed it.”

Finally Giancarlo spoke, coughing a few times to clear his throat before speaking. “We can’t do anything to him or we risk a war we can’t afford. Not with Interpol looking into our activities. Unless you have a way we can stop his foul mouth about my daughter, your bride.”

The tale unfolded in front of Arsen as it spilled from the four boys, though mostly from Raphael and MichaelAngelo. And every word quoted from the ungrateful buffoon they were talking about made Arsen’s blood boil. At this point the thought of another man touching Marci without Arsen’s permission was sickening, and what’s more the words that were spewed weren’t even fit for Marci to have heard.

When they came to their conclusion and Giancarlo gave his final words on the matter, Arsen nodded, looking both angry, and thoughtful. He leaned forward on his elbows and laced the fingers on his paws together over the plate. “A straight up war would not be desired, especially at this time. At the same time, I wish to make a strong statement to the other families that we are not to be fucked with. Something has to be done about this, but it can’t be obvious and it can’t be immediately. I need to lay some false trails with my superiors. Let me do some thinking on this. But I can promise that we shall make them pay.”

Giancarlo nodded, his eyes steady as he looked at Arsen. “So be it. When the time is right, we strike and get them back for his crude, cruel tongue.” He looked at his sons, pausing to look each one in the eye before moving to the next one. “Do not let on that anything is in the works, but any information you might have on the Romano family is appreciated and Arsen can use every bit he gets.”

He glanced at the clock, then shook his head. “Marci has the number for everyone in her phone. Have her give you the boys’ numbers, then text them so they know your number. They will send the messages about the Romanos directly to you. We don’t want to drag Marci back into this mess that Salvatore started. While it was in his mind that he was marrying Marci, it was in no one else’s mind, let alone mine or hers.”

“Don’t worry. Marci shall be kept out of the plans and won’t have to know any more until after things have come to fruition. But I cannot say what I shall do if I happen to be around and Salvatore shows up to talk with her again” he thought for a moment, “I may be able to divert some of the suspicion directed toward the family here, toward the Romano’s.”

Hearing what their father said about keeping in contact, Arsen answered, “It will be good for me to keep in touch with the boys anyway.” he said, “They should be able to reach me and I them whenever we might need something.” Arsen nodded and looked at each of the boys in turn, “I will be counting on you all to help me out with things as I get a foothold around here.” he paused, “Speaking of which. I know you boys don’t know what I have spoken to your father about, but Sir…” he turned toward Giancarlo, “Would it be against your wishes if I were to have the boys aid me with my own peculiar project that I discussed with you?”

Giancarlo shook his head. “Feel free to have them help you with that, mio figlio (my son - Italian). It’s definitely something they should be getting to know about . Hopefully when Marci is occupied with something else, though. I don’t think that she should know the boys are that involved in the new project. Though I do believe you told her about the project, correct?”

Just then the butler came in and walked over, pausing next to the table. “Mi scusi signore. La signorina Marciana mi ha chiesto di prendere il suo fidanzato. Ha detto che ci sono stati alcuni arresti che avevano bisogno di fare e che dovrebbe ottenere sulla strada per raggiungere il resort per ora di cena. (Excuse me, Sir. Miss Marciana asked me to fetch her betrothed. She said there were a few stops that they needed to make and they should get on the road to get to the resort by dinner time. - Italian)”

Arsen nodded his head, “I have spoken to Marci and we have made some understandings about it. It may be necessary for me to let her know that they are involved, but I’ll try to avoid that fact if possible.” He said with a smile and a nod toward his father-in-law.

Glancing up when the butler came in and inquired, he glanced around, took the last bites of his food and pushed himself to his feet. “I’ll see you all later then. Marci is right that we have made some plans for the day.” he nodded to each of the boys, “We’ll talk more later about things. I’ll text you with my number in a little while.” Arsen also nodded toward Giancarlo, “Be well, sir.” And with that he turned to leave the dining area and head for where Marci was waiting.
