Chapter 6

Denial of the Truth

"S-Sabetha?! W...What are you?!" Sapphire stuttered, her eyes wide in fear stepping back.

"Sapphire, please, just wait! I can explain everything!" Sabetha exclaimed in her high-pitched squeaky voice stepping forwards with an outstretched hand. Sapphire shook her head wildly.

"No! S-Stay... stay away from me you liar!!" Sapphire shouted in a tear jerking burst of emotion, turning away bursting through the crowd of Police running out of the room. Sabetha's outstretched hand slowly lowered, her eyes half closed staring down at the floor.

"Sabetha, are you okay?" Elisa asked in concern staring at Sabetha who smiled weakly.

"...Yes... sigh... I knew she would find out someday, but... I just wanted to stay with her for a little longer," Sabetha muttered closing her eyes holding back tears.

"Elisa, are you going to be okay after what happened earlier?" Sabetha asked in a soft, solemn tone glancing down at the Absol from the corner of her eyes. The group was now slowly making their way through the facility that was once filled with darkness and pain, now only an eerie silence covered it.

"Y-Yes... I didn't suffer any physical harm," Elisa said looking down at the floor, the trio stopping at the stairs that led up from the tiled room.

"...Elisa, I'm sorry I couldn't stop him from doing that to you," Sabetha said in a low, upset tone. Elisa looked up at Sabetha with a smile shaking her head.

"It was because of you that I could find the desire to challenge him, to fight my fears," Elisa said glancing out across the room, a soft smile creeping across her face, "his reign of evil is over for now, and everyone else who couldn't escape are now free of that suffering... I couldn't ask for a better outcome."

"I'm glad you're o-?!" Sabetha was cut off as a violent gust of wind suddenly slammed into the group sending Sabetha stumbling back. "Oh no, I hate this part!!" Sabetha cried out in her squeaky voice as a vortex of air and leaves engulfed her.

"Ahhh... dizzzzzzyyyy," Sabetha muttered slowly spinning around as the vortex vanished doing a slow motion fall backwards. Tremi swiftly stepped forwards catching the now normal appearing girl in her arms. "A...Ahahaha... my hero," Sabetha said smiling at Tremi, her eyes still spinning in her head. Tremi shifted her gaze away with a soft blush on her face helping Sabetha stand on her two feet.

"Sigh... I really wish Sapphire didn't see me like that," Sabetha muttered in a depressed tone now in her normal, human appearance.

"True friends would not leave your side over such a thing," Tremi said in a cold tone. Sabetha stared at Tremi, a weak smile growing across her face.

"You're right, Tremi... both of you are still at my side even after what happened to us because of my stupidity," Sabetha said her smile growing, but she still could not lose the feeling of loss.

"If it is true and you did encounter two members of the group who seeks you Sabetha, we must flee this town immediately. We should attempt to get as far as possible. Even if they were captured, we cannot say for sure if they did or did not send a transmission about us before their capture," Tremi said in a serious tone. Sabetha let out a shaky sigh nodding her head.

"Excu... what?" Jennifer called out spotting the group, pausing as she reached them looking Sabetha over, she raised an eyebrow at her, "your appearance? You resembled a Pokemon only moments ago, yet now...?"

"A-Ahahahaha, I don't know what you're talking about! B-But thank you for the help, we will be making our leave," Sabetha said bowing politely quickly turning and running up the stairs.

"Thank you for the assistance," Tremi said politely before following after Sabetha.

"What in the... I know that was her???" Jennifer muttered cocking her head with an utterly confused look on her face.

~*~ On Route 812, the group safely made their way out of the Town now traveling into the unknown feeling a sense of lose with Sapphire's departure~*~

"Bah! Who needs humans for friends anyways? Human's are selfish, discriminating jerks! Pokemon are the total opposite being loyal beyond a doubt, only wishing to give and receive affection!" Sabetha exclaimed throwing her arms up into the air storming down the forest covered path.

"You have been saying such things since we departed. It is obvious you do not mean those words," Tremi stated calmly walking alongside with closed eyes, her arms crossed loosely. Sabetha glared at her from the corner of her eyes.

"Are you using your mind-reading abilities again?!" Sabetha asked pointing at Tremi, who merely glanced down at Sabetha.

"No. The promise I made back then to never use it because it removes the 'bonding' that words have still holds true," Tremi said calmly, Sabetha flinched becoming infuriated from her calm manner.

"GRAHHH!!!! I'm so damn irritated!!!!!" Sabetha shouted ruffling her hair quickly. Elisa stared at Sabetha with concern.

"Is she going to be okay?" Elisa asked looking up at Tremi who chuckled.

"Yes. She is merely frustrated and venting, she will be fine," Tremi whispered back.

"I heard that!!" Sabetha shouted pointing at Tremi glaring at the Gardevoir with suspicious, accusing eyes.

"Tremi," Sabetha said suddenly breaking a silence that had fallen over the trio. Tremi looked at Sabetha with a curious glint in her eyes. "...The changes used to last only a couple of minutes once I got away from whatever had changed me. But now... it's lasting hours. What is going to happen to me if... if it continues? If I degrade further and further? What if I degrade so much I become trapped as one of them," Sabetha asked in a fearful tone. Tremi suddenly reached out grabbing Sabetha's arm causing the girl to look at her with surprise.

"That will not happen. We will find a cure long before such a possibility should arise," Tremi said in a firm tone. Sabetha smiled at Tremi closing her eyes.

"You're right, I can't give up hope... but the sky is getting really bleak, I think it's going to rain soon," Sabetha said in concern staring at the heavy Grey clouds above.

"There are naturally forming caverns from the run off of the nearby mountains, we should seek one out," Tremi stated and Sabetha glared at her.

"Well, where is one miss know it all? Hmmm?!" Sabetha asked in a snarly tone pointing at Tremi with a finger. Sabetha flinched seeing Tremi staring off past here causing Sabetha to lookay back curiously.

"Huh? Where did Elisa go??" Sabetha asked realizing Elisa had vanished.

"Over there," Tremi stated calmly extending her arm out pointing to the left. Sabetha followed her aim spotting Elisa half submerged in some bushes waving at them with a claw.

"Uhm... she wants us to follow?" Sabetha asked lookaying at Tremi, who chuckled, nodding her head.

"Wow! Elisa, how did you find THIS?!" Sabetha exclaimed wide eyed in awe standing in a wide, shadowy chamber. A hole in the room of the cave provided a faint trickle of light. Along the walls, old, ancient ruins laid crumbling from the elements, a cool wind blowing through the winding cave.

"She has a natural allure to places with dark pasts, often related to death," Tremi explained calmly. Sabetha's eyes darted back over her shoulder letting out an uneasy laugh rubbing her arms not liking ghosts at all. "There is nothing else alive within this cave, Sabetha," Tremi said in a reassuring tone. Sabetha let out a low whimper her eyes darting around.

"Y-Yea, nothing ALIVE," she said in a trembling spooked tone. Elisa giggled in amusement at her Trainer's reaction.

"This should be far enough into the cave to mostly negate the cold winds and rain," Tremi stated, the group now standing in a small circular chamber. Dozens of small holes in the roof provided a faint, eerie light in the chamber with two exits, one to the left leading deeper into the cave, and the right exit which led back out of the cave near a slow flowing river running down from the nearby mountains. Shattered dark Grey pillars laid scattered around the small chamber.

"W-We should get a f-fire going," Sabetha stuttered staring off into the deeper part of the cave seeing only shadows. Tremi nodded her head in agreement.

"Elisa and myself will go collect the necessary materials. Please setup a ring of stones for the fire," Tremi stated turning away.

"W-Wait! Y-You mean all alone in this dark, spooky cave?! What if a zombie comes out and tries to eat my brains?!" Sabetha cried out pointing at her head. Tremi chuckled softly looking on ahead.

"Are you scared, Sabetha?" Tremi asked causing Sabetha to flinch, glaring at Tremi knowing she was teasing her.

"N-No! You just wait and see, I'll be fine!" Sabetha exclaimed pointing at Tremi's back with a defiant frown on her face.

"As you wish," Tremi stated calmly walking down down the passage with Elisa in tow, the pair vanishing from view.

"A-Ahahahhaa... m-me and my big mouth," Sabetha whimpered lookaying around with paranoia, slowly rubbing her arms.

"T-There's nothing to be scared of... just maybe a few Pokemon, no zombies or ghosts... oh please don't let there be ghosts," Sabetha thought whimpering with teary eyes as she rolled a stone towards the center of the chamber continuously shifting her gaze around the chamber. "T-There! I'm done, now where are those two?!" Sabetha exclaimed feeling extremely uneasy. "I-I'm going to go find them!" Sabetha thought turning to walk towards the exit, her heart stopping seeing a pair of glowing eyes staring at her from the shadows. "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Sabetha let out a bloodcurdling scream of terror falling back onto her rump, desperately crawling back across the chamber. "Please don't eat my brains!!" Sabetha pleaded in terrified tone, her eyes clenched shut tightly bumping up against the chambers wall. After a moment, Sabetha soon realized she wasn't being torn limb from limb cautiously lowering an arm peeking out. Her eyes shot open with a shocked look in them seeing a familiar face rather then something of the undead.

"W-Wait... Frinda??" Sabetha said staring at the icy white Glaceon who had a wide, amused grin on her face at Sabetha's reaction.

"What was that?!" a voice echoed down the passage, the sound of feet running down the passage could be heard growing louder and louder until Sapphire slid to a stop beside Frinda, her eyes shooting open seeing Sabetha. The pair stared at each other with equally surprised lookays, a tense silence falling across the chamber.

"You... you're normal? Or... or is this your disguise?" Sapphire asked quietly looking to one side. Sabetha let out a shaky sigh climbing to her feet.

"Sapphire... I... I know you're angry with me," Sabetha said staring down at the ground. Sapphire stared at Sabetha for a moment before closing her eyes.

"You're darn right I'm angry at you... you hid something like that from me? I thought we were friends, though it seems... I was wrong about that," Sapphire said in a pained tone turning away. "Frinda, let's go... we'll find somewhere else to stay for the night," Sapphire said with a shaky smile aimed at the Pokayemon.

"Wait! I-I... I really did want to tell you, Sapphire! But... I... I just didn't want you to be scared of me, I didn't want to risk losing you as my friend," Sabetha explained with tear filled eyes. Sapphire stopped, slowly glancing back at Sabetha from the corner of her eyes simply staring at her for a moment.

"...Tell me the truth. Tell me EVERYTHING, Sabetha. If you truly are my friend, then I want no lies, I want to hear the honest to god truth about what you are, and leave out not a single detail," Sapphire said in a serious tone turning around staring at Sabetha, who stared back with a shaky smile.

"I... I will," Sabetha said wiping her face dry. Sapphire let out a deep sigh walking back into the chamber awaiting to hear Sabetha's explanation.

"A-And... that's everything... everything I understand at least," Sabetha said in a low, uneasy tone. Sapphire was staring at her with wide, horrified eyes hearing the story of Sabetha's past. "The reason I'm traveling... is to find someone who can cure me, who can help me... I don't who, but I knew if I stayed at home I would slowly change until I was... I wasn't me anymore," Sabetha explained staring at the ring of stones blankly.

"So earlier...?" Sapphire muttered lost in thought.

"Y-Yes... anytime I touch an element of the Eevee and their Evolution I change... Fire, Plants, ice or snow... it's some kind of side affect from whatever it is they did to me," Sabetha explained. Sapphire and Sabetha looked back at the entrance hearing the sound of footsteps, Tremi and Elisa appeared.

"...I should leave," Sapphire said seeing Tremi was staring at her with an unfriendly look on her face.

"Come on Frinda," Sapphire said in a reluctant tone rising to her feet. She jolted back as something caught her pants.

"Sapphire, you can't leave! I... I won't lose my friend again," Sabetha said with a shaky smile. Sapphire looked back at her with wide, shock filled eyes.

"A-After what I did... you would still call me a friend?" Sapphire muttered in disbelief, turning around with a wide smile on her face, a couple of tears of joy rolling down her face. "You can do WHAT?!" Sapphire exclaimed with bulging eyes. Sabetha laughed sheepishly looking down at the crackling fire they had started.

"When I change, I can actually understand and talk with Pokemon. Well, except Tremi. Everyone can talk and understand her for some reason," Sabetha explained with a small smile on her face. Tremi remained silent sitting with her knees up a distance away from the pair watching them with resentful eyes not being able to fully forgive Sapphire.

"Have you talked with Frinda??" Sapphire asked curiously looking down at the Glaceon laying beside her, a small grin on the Pokemon's face.

"Y-Yes, but she didn't say much," Sabetha said blushing deeply looking down at her feet ignoring the wide grin on Frinda's face.

"So, if I lit you on fire, you wouldn't die but just change?" Sapphire asked with a sinister grin. Sabetha recoiled from the disturbing tone in Sapphire's voice.

"I-I probably wouldn't die, but I WOULD be burned badly before I change!" Sabetha exclaimed with wide, fearful eyes. Sapphire covered her mouth bursting out giggling.

"Don't give me that look! I wouldn't do something as cruel as that," She said smiling with closed eyes.

"But I really want to see your in all your forms! Eevee's are soooo adorable, even more when they evolve!!" Sapphire exclaimed clasping her hands together with a wide, giddy smile. Sapphire's earlier resentment and fear of Sabetha had vanished completely.

"A-Ahahahaha, really, we shouldn't... if a stranger wanders in here we could be serious trou-!" Sabetha was cut off, her eyes shooting open seeing a burning piece of ember on her exposed foot.

"YEOUCH!!" Sabetha cried out leaping to her feet, grabbing hold of her foot hopping back crying out as she tripped over the pillar she was sitting on.

"Frinny! Bad! Bad Frinny, you do not do such cruel things!" Sapphire scolded Frinda who had batted the ember over. Frinda had a wide, amused grin on her face watching a vortex of flames burst out from behind the pillar.

"Oh my! You're so adorable!!" Sapphire exclaimed with an insane giddy expression on her face spazing out watching Sabetha plop back down onto the pillar propping her head up grumbling and muttering under her breath glaring at Frinda. Sabetha's body had shrunk by a third of her mass, her skin a deep fiery red. Her hair was made of fiery embers gently glowing down behind her back. Her face had shrunk with two black, pupil-less eyes and a tiny nose. Long, blonde eyebrows adorned her face above her eyes.

"Can you do anything special?!" Sapphire asked excitedly. Sabetha raised an eyebrow staring at Sapphire.

"Special?" she asked in a deep, annoyed tone.

"Like, can you shoot fire? Or do any of a Flareon's abilities?!" Sapphire asked excitedly. Sabetha glared at her with slitted eyes.

"I look like a Pokemon, I'm not one for real, geez," Sabetha grumbled angrily, her fiery temper quite obvious.

"Hehehe. Well, I better stop provoking you in case you really can!" Sapphire exclaimed with a friendly smile.

"Why are you staring at me," Sabetha asked glaring at Frinda who was sitting beside Sapphire staring at Sabetha for the last few minutes grinning.

"Mmm... just thinking," Frinda said in a soft, innocent tone.

"What??" Sapphire asked looking around not understanding as she wasn't staring at Sabetha.

"Her. She's acting suspicious," Sabetha said pointing at Frinda, Sapphire looked down.

"Huh? Nooo, Frinny is a good girl!" Sapphire exclaimed with a smile reaching down petting Frinda's head. Frinda affectionately rubbing herself up against Sapphire's hand glancing at Sabetha from the corner of her eyes.

"Heh... shows how much you truly know about her," Sabetha muttered glaring at Frinda.

"What's wrong with you?" Sabetha asked glancing over at Elisa noticing now she was staring at her.

"N-Nothing," Elisa said quickly looking away. Sabetha let out a deep, aggravated sigh standing up.

"I'm going outside to cool off," Sabetha muttered taking a step towards the exit, flinching hearing a quiet snicker. "JUST BECAUSE I'M A WALKING FIREBALL THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN JOKE ABOUT IT!!" Sabetha shouted at the group before storming off down the passage.

"Whew! She really DOES change personality, doesn't she?" Sapphire asked looking back at Tremi smiling.

"...It has gotten worse over the previous years. At first, she would not change in appearance nor personality very much at all. But now," Tremi said in concern watching the light in the passage vanish from view.

~*~ Having made her way outside, Sabetha discovers the sky had cleared up giving way to a beautiful moonless night~*~

"Yea, laugh it up! Hahahaha, she's a walking fireball!!" Sabetha exclaimed throwing her arms up into the air bringing them down onto her lap let out a deep, exasperated sigh. She was now sitting cross-legged beside a small, deep river in front of her. "Sigh... what is going to happen to me if I don't find a cure for this? Am I going to continue to change until I'm actually one of the Eon's? Am I going to fall apart and turn into dust? Or am I going to explode in a gigantic chemical reaction?!" she thought with a frown growing across her face opening her eyes slamming her fist into the dew laden grass. Smoke billowed from the grass as it burned under her fiery blow. "The nightmare just keeps getting worse, and worse with every passing day," Sabetha thought staring at her reflection in the river.

"Quite the temper you have," a cool voice called out. Sabetha looked over her shoulder spotting Frinda walking out of the cave with a smug grin on her icy face. Sabetha grunted, looking back down at the river.

"I am not in the mood for you. Try anything, and you're going to be turned into a puddle," Sabetha said in a threatening tone. Frinda laughed softly sitting down beside Sabetha.

"It's quite funny really," Frinda said calmly watching the water gently flowing by. Sabetha glanced at Frinda from the corner of her eyes, her fiery hair burning without a sound.

"I've always wanted to be a human in truth," Frinda said calmly. Sabetha looked down at her with surprise. "Hmph... I always believe they were superior. Living anywhere in the world they choose, having the power to do as they wish without fear," Frinda said closing her eyes letting out a soft sigh placing a paw into the river creating a patch of ice. "Yet here, you wished for the opposite of me. To become one of us... yet instead of a dream coming true, you now fight desperately to return to what you were... it makes me think, would I truly be happy being a human? Hmm... if only such answers were so easily obtained," Frinda said chuckling to herself.

"Trust me, you don't want to be one," Sabetha looking on ahead.

"Then why do you fight so desperately to be one yourself?" Frinda asked calmly. Sabetha's eyes widened staring off blankly having never thought of that.

"Because... because I am a human, as you are a Pokemon. We should be happy with who and what we are, a lesson I learned the hard way," Sabetha murmured with half closed anguished eyes.

"Yet here you are, a being who treads the line of Humans and Pokemon being neither," Frinda said calmly staring at Sabetha with her listless eyes. Sabetha stared down at Frinda with surprise.

"I-I guess it's not all bad though... I can still talk and walk, but I just look different," Sabetha muttered looking at the cuffs of flames around her wrists.

"And you enjoyed our little encounter the other day," Frinda with a perverse grin, Sabetha flinched.

"You blackmailed me damnit!" Sabetha snapped pointing at the Glaceon who continued to grin, Sabetha's cheeks having darkened.

"Are you scared of such feelings?" Frinda asked calmly causing Sabetha to look away. Frinda snickered softly, "you can try to deny them, but if you are going to be like this, you must learn to accept them. Humans are completely irrational about such urges requiring bonding before such intimate times, yet there is no harm in such a natural instinct." Sabetha glanced at Frinda with an inquisitive glint in her eyes.

"Do... do you feel love?" Sabetha asked. Frinda smiled softly at her.

"Of course we do. We do not have such silly rituals as humans, but we do yearn to be with another and spend our lives with them caring for them deeply," Frinda explained.

"And that's me!!" A cheerful, high pitched voice exclaimed. The pair of Eon's looked back seeing Lefy running out of the cave with a wide smile on his face, his leafy tail wagging excitedly behind him.

"I simply stay with you out of pity. If I left you, you would likely drown yourself trying to save your reflection from a lake," Frinda said in a cold, harsh tone.

"Ouch," Lefy muttered taking a seat between the girls, his leafy tail flicking along the grass behind him with a wide smile on his face.

"Hey! Can I see your tail?" Lefy asked leaning in closer looking at Sabetha with a friendly smile. Sabetha glared at him with the nasty look causing Lefy to cringe not wanting to be turned into a crisped version of himself. "A-Ahahaha, or not!" Lefy laughed shakily rubbing his head with a paw.

"Coward," Frinda muttered in disgust at him backing down.

"Hey! I am not a coward!" Lefy exclaimed playfully nudging Frinda in the side.

"Why don't you bend over and I'll show you how cowardly I am!" Lefy said with a small grin. Frinda's left eye twitched slowly raising a paw up touching him. Lefy let out a cry of surprise as ice rapidly engulfed him freezing him into a solid block of ice.

"Typical male," Frinda grumbled under her breath. Sabetha let out a small snicker reaching up a hand.

"I don't think keeping him in there is going to do any good for a grass type," Sabetha said placing her hand on the block of ice, her intense heat rapidly melting the block letting Lefy fall to the ground. "Ack! G-Get off of me!!" Sabetha cried out leaning back with Lefy hanging from her neck.

"You're my savior! You'll protect me Frinda and her tyrannical ways!" Lefy exclaimed in a joyful tone hanging onto Sabetha as she swung her hand around wildly trying to get him off. Frinda gritted her teeth with closed eyes trying to keep her calm and not clobber him.

"I didn't protect you... dummy!" Sabetha grunted plucking the crazed Eon off of herself. He stared at her curiously.

"You've gotten a lot smaller! You look even prettier now," he said smiling widely his tail flicking under him. Sabetha glared at him coldly moving him over the river.

"Eek!! Please don't! I'll wrinkle!" he squealed realizing what she intended lifting his hind legs up. Sabetha grinned deviously.

"You're a plant, plants like water. So have a drink!" Sabetha exclaimed releasing Lefy sending him into the slow moving river below. Lefy cried out splashing around and gasping in a dramatic manner. Frinda let out an exasperated sigh reaching a paw down into the water causing a vein of ice to shoot across the water's surface. Lefy grabbed hold of it panting heavily.

"I swear he is more trouble then a child." Frinda grumbled in annoyed tone. A tiny smile had grown across Sabetha's face seeing Frinda in a new light...

"That was cruel!" Lefy exclaimed shaking himself dry having climbed out of the water. Sabetha ignored him with a small grin remaining on her face. "So have some of this!!!" Lefy exclaimed charging at Sabetha delivering a hard tackle to her rump causing her to cry out in surprise waving her arms frantically teetering forwards.

"Wowww!!!" Sabetha cried out as she lost her balance falling head first into the water. Frinda jumped to her feet looking at Lefy with an enraged expression.

"You moron!! She may not be a Pokemon, but she is a fire type! Fire can die in water!" Frinda shouted at him, Lefy cringed.

"Ahahaha... woops?" he said laughing weakly rubbing his head with a paw.

"Help me get her out!" Frinda called at him running further down stream watching the water for any sign of Sabetha. Lefy leaned over the shore, his eyes darting across the deep water not seeing a thing.

"I don't see her. Aww, Sapphire is going to be really angry with me if I just killed one of her friends!" Lefy whimpered in fear of what Sapphire would do to him.

"You little...!" a bubbly voice called out as a pair of webbed, watery blue hands shot out of the river wrapping themselves around Lefy's neck.

"AHH!!!! IT'S A WATER MONSTER, IT'S GOT ME! HELP!!" Lefy screamed in terror thrashing his head around wildly. Sabetha's finned head suddenly popped out of the water using her hands to strangle Lefy.

"Try to drown me will you?!" Sabetha exclaimed in her bubbly tone not noticing Frinda standing nearby not trying to stop them.

"So you can change forms without returning to a human, that's a good thing to know. I would not have been pleased if he had seriously harmed you, you are still my property," Frinda said grinning at Sabetha.

"Ohhh, that's it! Super tackle!!" Lefy exclaimed lunging at Sabetha who gasped, diving under water vanishing from view. Lefy cried out kicking his legs wildly crashing into the icy water once again.

"What the?! Where did she go?!" Lefy exclaimed swimming in a circle looking for Sabetha but couldn't find a trace of her where a bouts. Frinda let out a shaky sigh shaking her head in shame.

"You truly are an idiot," Frinda muttered feeling ashamed she had chosen him as her mate.

"Hey! I am not!" Lefy exclaimed clawing at the shore climbing out of the water shaking himself dry.

"Hehehe! This is actually really neat. I can breath and see under water as clear as day," Sabetha said with a wide smile on her face swimming down the river on her back. She reached out grabbing hold of the shore climbing out onto all fours, her size had gotten even smaller appearing nearly the same size as Frinda and Lefy now. Sabetha cried out as she fell to her side trying to stand on two feet but it felt incredibly clumsy to her.

"You should have learned by now you cannot walk on two feet. Especially in this form which has reverted back quite a bit," Frinda murmured looking Sabetha over, her clothing was drooping off of her small frame. "Though we have no idea what will happen if you fully degrade, but now that we know why it is happening, we can stop from ever finding out," Elisa said smiling with closed eyes. "So... little Sabetha, our child of fate has finally surfaced once again... Beth," a deep, sinister voice echoed out of the shadows. A woman with vibrant red hair stepped out from behind Will with a small grin on her face, her arms crossed against her sizable chest. Will glanced back at her from the corner of his eyes.

"Beth, it would appear your precious child, our precious Sabetha has finally left her nest... find her. Bring her home," the voice ordered, Beth's grin grew.

"I understand, sir. I will bring our misguided child back to her true home, I swear by it," Beth said bowing her head politely never losing her grin as she turned walking off into the shadows.

"Good... the child who will lead us to glory over the evil of this world, the child that will restore order that once existed," the sinister voice said with a soft, dark laugh echoing out of the shadows.
