Serling pays another visit to the Spa, and is introduced to a new relaxing and transformative therapy beside a beautiful fountain.

The Water Feature

Serling blinked slightly as he moved from the calm, dim lighting of the massage parlour's interior to the courtyard beyond it. In all the times he'd come to the Spa before today, and of all the rooms he'd received various treatments in while here, this was a place that he had not only never been before but had never even known of its existence. A calm, peaceful space in the midst of the large Spa building with verdant green grassy patches between smooth tile paths, all bordered by flowerbeds and with a small black and white speckled marble fountain standing upon a plinth at its centre, surrounded by a low marble basin. The whole space was beautiful, with the sun shining high overhead and the sound of insects buzzing amongst the flowers. It might have been perfect, had it not been for the fact that the fountain itself was silent and empty.

Blushing slightly as he stepped out of the doorway and onto the path, his feet bare and his whole body feeling oddly exposed as it was bathed in the early afternoon sun, the coyote followed the member of staff who had led him out here. Theresa was dressed in the standard attire for members of staff, the lithe ferret's body clad in neatly fitted cloth garments which almost resembled hospital scrubs in their cut, though a pale lavender in hue. She was not however accompanied by her twin brother on this occasion, and considering how that had turned out last time for the coyote Serling was kind of glad of that fact.

The ferret smiled at him as he stepped out fully into the sun, his grey furred form wearing only a pair of boxer shorts, no robe having been offered on this occasion given the warmth of the outdoor space. She waited for him to walk closer, to approach her where she stood in one of the grassy sections of the courtyard, and giggled when as soon as she saw his feet touch the grass his own smile grew wider. It was hard not to feel relaxed when walking barefoot on soft grass, and that was one of the reasons why the Spa had decided to test out this previously staff only portion of the facility for customer use. And what better person to be the first to try out the experience than their most valued regular.

"This is... it's a much more relaxed, hands off type of treatment than we tend to offer."

Theresa sat down upon the grass, legs stretched out in front of her, leaning back on her arms and turning her head up towards the sun, toes curling pleasantly. She smiled, eyes closed and remaining that way as she heard the gentle rustling of grass which seemed to indicate Serling dropping to his knees close by.

"We try so hard to replicate nature, its sounds, its scents, the therapeutic properties of its oils. Sometimes we even manage to enhance aspects of those things, as I'm sure you know. But, sometimes it's important to remember that nature knows what it's doing. Just like us, if not pushed around by the wants of others and the more restrictive elements of society, it finds a natural balance."

Theresa opened her eyes, and grinned as she saw Serling looking right at her, giggling when he blushed and looked away as their eyes met.

"So, all we ask of you here, in this space... try to relax. Try to find that balance that is natural and innate within all of us. Breathe deep. Know that you're safe, you're respected and cared for in this space, and... enjoy it. There's an intercom on the wall near the door you came out of if you'd like anything, a refreshment, or... well, if we can provide it at all, we'll try. And, unless there's anything else you need from me right now..."

She slowly pulled herself back to her feet, sighing as she realised how much she wished she could stay out here, strip off with the cute coyote and just enjoy the warmth of the sun and his eyes upon her body.

"...I'll be back to check up on you and ask some questions based on your experience here in about an hour."

Theresa waited as the coyote looked around, as though scanning the place to see if there were any questions he had based on anything he saw. He seemed to look up at her confidently, but even as he began to shake his head, he blushed a little. His eyes darted towards the centre of the courtyard, then back again to the ferret.

"T-the... the fountain. Is it just an ornament? Is it not actually plumbed in? Because, if it is... I dunno, I just think that the sound of running water could be pretty relaxing."

Turning towards the fountain with a raised eyebrow, as though either just noticing its presence for the first time or perhaps only now realising it wasn't running, the ferret murmured to herself for a moment. One foot tapped a few times against the grassy ground beneath her, then she looked down at Serling with a reassuring smile.

"I'm honestly not sure. I think it's usually running, but... I'll check that out for you. Anything else?"

Serling beamed, shaking his head as he remained resting upon the grass. He did however blush one last time as the ferret began to walk away, not looking back at him but calling out over her shoulder as she departed.

"Oh, and feel free to take off your underwear. No-one's gonna be coming by to disturb you, so there's no need to cover up. Goodness knows I wouldn't, if it were me relaxing here."

Before Serling could answer in any way beyond a rather high pitched, bashful whimper, Theresa was headed back into the building once more and out of sight. The coyote looked down at his body, shivering and blushing brighter still as he ran a hand through the pale fur upon his chest and stomach, but stopped short of his underwear. He looked up at the sky instead, and with a chuckle and a bashful but sincere shake of his head decided that he didn't need to take off his underwear to relax properly. Instead he simply laid himself out flat upon the sun-baked grass, spreading out his arms and legs with his eyes closed and muzzle pointing skyward, and drew in a deep, soothing breath as he drank in the warmth, the buzzing of bees and the occasional, oh so gentle rustling of the flowerbeds in the softest of summer breezes.

There he lay for maybe ten minutes, maybe closer to twenty, just revelling in the silence. The peace. The true and sincere relaxation that was so much more palpable than would have been the case were he lying equally undisturbed and quiet upon a table somewhere inside. He beamed to himself, lazy, calm thoughts running through his mind but always returning to one simple fact. When it came time to tell the ferret what he thought of this new technique, simple as it may have been, he didn't think he'd be able to recommend it highly enough. Not to say that he didn't enjoy getting poked and prodded to relaxation by a masseur every week or two, goodness knew he wouldn't keep on coming back if that wasn't the case, but if this became a regular feature of the Spa's selection Serling could definitely see himself returning here.

A loud gurgling sound from somewhere close by disrupted Serling's peace and calm, making the coyote jump slightly and sit bolt upright upon the grass. He looked towards the source of the sound for a moment, confused and slightly on edge as his previously calm heart-rate raced, but after just a second or so the male sagged in relief as he realised what he was hearing. It was the fountain.

Rising to his feet, stretching to such a degree that his fingers trembled and he rose up on the tips of his toes, the coyote let slip a loud and peaceful yawn as he padded over to the gurgling but still dry water feature. He stood on the outer edge of its lower lip, not quite tall enough from where he was standing to see the actual origin point of the fountain at its peak. Again it gurgled, a muffled, almost restrained sound, and as Serling's ears twitched he swore he could hear liquid flowing somewhere nearby. Looking around, back to the door in search of anyone who might be able to assist, Serling sighed. He didn't want to overstep his bounds by being here, but he also didn't want to call for anyone to help, lest they disturb the rest of his time here. If there was a blockage, something stopping the fountain from starting to flow, it would be so easy for him to reach in and pull it loose. Then, once it was flowing free, he could go right back to his former relaxation.

Carefully, now thankful of his bare feet, Serling stepped into the lower basin of the marble fountain. It wasn't much of a rise in height, but it was enough. Just enough for him to be able to peer over the plinth and the smaller fountain upon it, eyes peering into the central column of the fountain and seeing...

"Ah!"

Serling exclaimed in delight, and without thinking, without any consideration of the consequences, lifted a hand to what looked like a small valve within the marble cap of the fountain. A valve currently turned closed, holding back whatever liquid he could now hear bubbling away within, but one which was easily grasped between finger and thumb and turned, twisted open one hundred and eighty degrees. The gurgling ceased, and there was gentle hiss of pressure releasing. Serling beamed. He withdrew his hand in pride, and...

"Aaaah!"

Before he could turn and step back out of the fountain, a jet of liquid erupted from its peak and began to rain down in a circular arc all around, hitting Serling square in the chest with its not heavy or intense but still very much active flow and causing the coyote to realise two things in rapid succession.

First of all, he should have removed his underwear after all. For now, as he felt his body being soaked by the liquid, he could feel his boxers already becoming damp and saturated. And secondly, perhaps more importantly, the substance spraying out over him now was not in fact water.

It was thicker than water, and rather than being clear and pale, it was rich and glimmered with an amber hue. A hue so familiar even in this strange context. One much less like water or anything of that sort, and far more like... oil. Massage oil.

Serling's eyes widened.

Massage oil?!

He looked down at his chest, then at his hands which had risen to try and keep the spray from hitting him in the face. They were dripping. Not just dripping wet, but dripping. Softening, bending, the fur and flesh beneath it growing rapidly malleable. He looked down at his feet, now paddling in a puddle of inch deep oil that was slowly rising, and already his toes were moulded into one. Already he could see his lower limbs spreading out as his feet, then ankles, then the lower portion of his calves were softened to a malleable ooze by the massage oil for which this entire facility was so renowned.

"O-oh... god..."

Serling whimpered as he saw more and more of himself melting away, dripping and drooling his way into a puddle as he felt himself sinking to his knees not because he had fallen, but because his legs were beginning to more rapidly soften and now his knees were sinking down into the oily slick filling the fountain's beautiful marble basin. He watched as some of the smaller, more liquefied parts of himself were drawn away from his main body and sucked up into the fountain's inner workings, yelping when just a few moments later aside fresh oil they were once again launched out through the upper portion of the fountain, sprayed out over what remained of the coyote's solid self in that same gentle, circular spray.

The more of him that liquefied though, the more the coyote's fear faded. The more his initial nerves melted away alongside his body, giving way to a relaxation not only familiar to his past occasions of having his muscles and their tensions reduced to goo, but surpassing many of those occasions as he considered his current situation. No, this might not have been exactly what he planned when it came to spending an hour relaxing out in this courtyard. But... maybe it wasn't so bad, maybe it was even pretty great. After all, he was still just as undisturbed. He could still feel the warm sun on his form however liquefied and dispersed. He could still hear the buzzing of the insects, and now he could even hear the fountain's trickling flow up close and personal, too.

More than any of that though, what convinced the coyote that this experience was a positive one overall came when he was fully softened, and when his entire body was being swept and swirled around by the fountain. It was a feeling like nothing he'd ever known before. A feeling of freedom as his body was pulled and swept into smaller and smaller points of goo amongst an ocean of oil still softening and relaxing him with every passing second, only to be thrust up through a cool darkness, and then launched out through the air amongst a shower of countless other droplets. It was like flying. Like swimming. Like being flung up into the air by the strongest and safest pair of arms, knowing that you would be caught again without issue on the way down.

Serling would have laughed, would have squealed with joy if he could have as he was sprayed out and sucked in repeatedly by the fountain's motions, but he couldn't. All he could do was lie there in a million different little blobs of purely, utterly relaxed goo, and hope that the remaining portion of his hour didn't pass by too quickly.

*********

When Theresa wandered back out into the courtyard, she smiled at the sight of the fountain flowing free once more. She approached it, glancing around in search of Serling, but even when he was nowhere to be found the ferret's smile didn't fade. Indeed, as she saw a pair of boxer shorts floating in the almost foot deep marble basin, their partially synthetic fabric unaffected by the oil's softening properties, she giggled aloud.

"So... I guess you found out it's not a water fountain, huh?"

She spoke to the coyote, peering down at the countless little glimmering spots of colour amongst the amber oil, now recognising them for what they were as they quivered and flowed around before her gaze.

Looking back over her shoulder, then down at the fountain once more, the ferret nibbled bashfully on her bottom lip.

"I should really drain you out. Separate you from the oil and... well, give you some time to re-form. I really should do that. I..."

She was already pulling off her uniform even as she tried to tell herself to be good. To just do her job and nothing more. She was already on notice for that fight with her brother a few weeks back, and this... this could get her in even more trouble.

Nevertheless, the ferret was soon naked, and shivering happily as she didn't just step into the fountain's basin but immediately dropped to her knees within it, turning over and lying down so that her entire body was submerged in the warm oil, everything from her neck down already beginning to soften and liquefy.

"I hope you don't mind some company, Serling."

Her breathing was heavy, her cheeks flushed as she felt herself melting away rapidly under the near total submersion of her form.

"B-because... truth be told, we got off on the wrong foot the first time we met, and... I'd love to get to know you better. I'd love to let you get to know the real me. So... here I am. Every last bit, e-every drop of me."
