#12 of Tik Tik into the Wildlands

Galenna was forced to live in suspension for over a decade, tormented by an insidious cult to improve her powers. When a dragon knight rescued her, she felt like she was alive for the first time, and now he is taking her away, and she will never, ever want to leave.

From the dark depths of the secret mountain lair, Draykan has carried his newfound companion. He had dressed her in his top, leaving his scarred chest exposed to the elements, but that is of no consequence to him. All that matters is that he take Galenna to the temple of Love and hope that the High Priestess and the other healers can work on her the way they have helped him. The path isn't completely clear of travelers, though, and they stop once in awhile to greet people and share the news. Each time they talk, Galenna tightens her grip on Dray, but otherwise remains quiet... except for one instance. They meet an elf along the road, dressed in a traveler's tunic with her head covered by the shade of her hood. Her full lips quirk into a smirk as she sees the two, an she says. "What a lovely couple we have here." Galenna wraps her arms around Dray's body, holding him in close as she stares at the woman. "Yes, He's my Drayky, so buzz off!" "Now, now," Draykan says. "You're my top priority Galenna, and she's not trying to start any trouble." "That's correct," the traveler says. "But just be warned that your love doesn't turn sour. Can you honestly say you can have a real relationship, when so much of you is false?" Galenna gasps, but Dray reaches back and pats her on the cheek. "We're going now. Leave us be." The traveler titters and shakes her head, heading past the two. "Oh, I wouldn't dream of ruining this beautiful relationship..." "Let's leave that poopy head alone," Galenna says, pressing her lips to his cheek. A shiver runs up Dray's spine. Something about that encounter seemed strange, uncanny, in a way. He shakes it off at a pat on his chest. Perhaps Tymara would know what to make of this feeling.

The two soon arrive at the temple of love. The outer walls are a testament of the marriage of engineering and nature. Galenna's eyes widen at the sight of ornately decorated trees and vines curling over architecture as she bucks onto his back, saying. "Dray, Dray, please! Let's see what's inside!" Since this is his home, the guards let the two through with little questions, sending word to Tymara as quick as they can. Dray, meanwhile, lowers himself, letting the elf land on her porcelain feet and admire the architecture, running her fingers along one marble statue. Soon, two priestesses appear, draped in loose-fitting fabrics. They smile as they look to the elf, who smiles back at them, and one holds out her hand, saying. "Shall we get you cleaned up now, Miss?" Galenna eyes widen and she steps on over toward Draykan, wrapping her arms around him. "Oh, but I think Dray needs some washing, as well!" "Of course," the two priestesses say, bowing "then we shall help the both of you." "Oh, that won't be necessary," she says, waving them off. "After all, it's just a bath. Me and Dray can benefit from some alone time, right Dray?" She asks this, swirling her finger over the dragon's torso. "Well, I mean we've been alone all this time already..." he looks to the priestess. "Is the High Priestess busy?" "She's currently performing an exorcism, but she should be ready to meet you within the next couple of hours." "Oh, I see..." "Come on!" Galenna says, tugging Draykan's arms. "We can meet her later. I want to be with you!" "You're not tired?" He asks as she drags him along. "Of course not" she replies, taking him towards the pools. With a quick gesture, she throws off the shirt and dips herself in, sighing as she lets the warm water hit her smooth flesh. "Now, then... come on in." "How can I say no to that?" Draykan says with a shrug, disrobing and following suit. He guides the soap all over her body Galenna's gasps filling into his ear as he makes her skin shine. Meanwhile, she returns the favor, letting her arms float free from her shoulders, getting all over him without having to move herself away from his embrace. "Your abilities... are amazing," he says. "It's why they had me and why they did what they did. It strengthened my already powerful mind..." she says this scratching under his chin. "I can feel everything they feel," she says "and I can make them do whatever I want. That is the power of my mind, and I've made up my mind that I owe you my life." "Oh, c-come on. Surely there's something back home for you, right?" She shakes her head as she rests her forehead upon his own. "I'm looking at my home right now," she whispers. "And I shall protect him with my life." A cough breaks their gaze. Standing at the edge of the pool, glowing with her intense radiance of love, is the high priestess Tymara. Draykan stands up for her and bows. "Tymara... it's been so long." "You mustn't' see our time apart as a burden, Draykan," the High Priestess says. "I see you've found yourself a friend." "Y-yes, this is Galenna." He motions to the elf. "She's a powerful mind, but they disfigured her to make her that way. Please, there must be some healing you can perform. "I'm fine, Dray," Galenna says, sinking down into the water, bubbling up the waves with her mouth. "What...? Okay then, perhaps you can help me. I have questions, and I think... I think I'm ready to become a full-fledged knight!" Tymara smiles down at him, through her eyes flash over towards Galenna a moment. "Very well. Let us discuss..." Draykan steps out of the tub, but Galenna arm squeezes at his wrist, holding him back. "No!" she hisses. "You can't leave me behind. Not to be with her!"
