So, you wish to hear the old bunny-tales of the misadventures of Alice Blackpaw, do you? Hmm, I suppose I can, but you may be here a while. My life was a simple one once, not unlike your own, but time and circumstance changed that. You ask if I'm a vampire? Yes, I suppose that is partially accurate, but there's so much more to the story than that. Love, lust, war, reinvention...

I see you're determined. Very well, I'll tell you the tale of how I came to be who I am today. It may be a long tale, but after all, we have nothing but time. So, rest your head on my lap, my pet, but I warn you... storytelling can make me a tad thirsty.

Episode 9:

You both are so good to me.

I stubbornly insist upon a garden walk, despite the weather. You being a diligent pet, stubbornly insist upon accompanying me. I walk through the gravel paths, hearing the wet crunching under my feet, while you move next to me, eagerly holding the large parasol for the two of us as we walk.

"Are you sufficiently bundled up, my pet? I do not wish to cut my sojourn short, on account of you setting up a chill again." I speak the words sternly at you while we walk, I didn't want you to overexert yourself after having been fed upon so recently.

I nod at your words and continue to walk, listening to the rain fall all around us. Naturally, if you did fall ill, I would whisk you home in a rapid flight. I have no intention of forcing my pet to stay with me and set up cold.

We made our way by the pond and along the twisting walkway. I felt a shiver come from you and rolled my eyes, deviating my path towards the gazebo at the center of the garden. The small building had a fire pit within, that I laid some kindling and a few nearby fire logs into.

You took a seat on the bench after folding the parasol and putting it away. I felt myself give a frustrated sigh, finding nothing to start the fire with. "I must have words with the servants about this..." I frown and shake my head.

Giving you a smile, I lift my ears in realization. "I suppose it's time for you to see one of your Mistresses tricks." I grin as you sit up more attentively at the words. I make a spectacle of it for you as I flourish my right hand, then bring my forefinger to my right canine, to make a deep prick upon it.

With a bit of my own blood rolling from the corner of my mouth, I smile upon you, seeing you flinch at the painful display. I cut my hand in an arc through the air, letting several drops of blood fling from my fingertip and spatter upon the waiting kindling. I lick the wound to seal it then wipe my mouth before focusing my will.

The thaumaturgic energies in my own blood warm and respond to the droplets I had laid. Each of the drops erupts into small gouts of white-hot fire. The heat was felt in a quick radiant burst and rapidly consumed the tinder. I give a contented smile and fold my arms once the fire took, beginning to spread upon the logs.

Your look of disbelief was to be expected and I give you a gentle smile. It was a trivial thing that most fledgling thaumaturgists could accomplish, but seeing your excitement brought pride to my chest. "Bask in the fire a while my sweet, warm yourself before we venture back out into the rain."

I move and sit beside you, placing my hands in my lap, giving a nod to your question. "Yes, I did learn that from her." I give a knowing grin, not allowing you to ask before I speak again. "Yes, I shall regale you of it and perhaps a little more..."

I said my goodbyes to Lord Val, we took longer than we should have to say them. He promised to come to call again as soon as he could. I likewise told him I would come to visit house Lakestone at my earliest ability to do so. My heart ached a little to part with him, but I sent him off with a smile.

A few nights passed and Katrina continued my basic education of things, when I was not derailing us to partake of her. I had reawoken quite a lot of vigor from her and Elias and they were more than happy to return my adorations..

The evening that marked a week since Val's departure, I was summoned to my lord's chambers. I was told by the servant it was a formal summons and he had instructed them to make that clearly evident to me.

Upon arriving I was greeted by Katrina at his door. She gave me a smile and held it for me. I strode in and the black cat came in behind me, shutting the door with a loud click. The white fox sat at his desk, fingers forming a peak as he looked between the two of us. It was odd to share a bed with this man, but having to be so formal at certain times. None the less I made a polite bow to him. "You summoned for me, my Master?"

He gave me a gentle smile and leaned back in his chair, putting his hands to his lap. "I did, Alice. I wanted to give you a week to recover from your lessons with Val. Now, I think it is time we continue with some of your more, hands-on education."

I gave him a nod and looked at Katrina before back to him. "What would you ask of me?"

The fox stood and moved to his window, looking out into the blackness of the night. "You have brought me and your sister, even Val, a bit of light these days."

I smiled, feeling pride fill my chest at his words. "I just return in a small amount, what the three of you have bestowed upon me. Truly my lord..."

He smiled at me, but it belied a sadness to it. "I know, my Lady. That is why we need to begin with this sooner than later."

"What is it Master?" I frowned, feeling his tension. My ears wobbled curiously and I felt my tail flick in nervous twitches.

"Explain to her." Elias spoke out in an authoritative tone to Katrina.

"Going forward, you and I are to begin your lessons on thaumaturgy, my love."

"Oh... y-you mean that cool thing you do with your blood?" I tilted my head and clenched my fists, grinning at her excitedly.

"Please maintain your composure my sister, this is court business and we must treat it as such." Katrina frowned upon me, folding her arms. The look in her eyes said she didn't like keeping it formal either.

"Furthermore..." Elias called out over his shoulder to me. "I will begin instructing you in the use of foxfire."

I nodded quickly and tried to compose my eagerness. "Y-yes my master!"

"Alice..." Elias spoke to me through clenched teeth, giving me an apologetic look. "You need to understand a few things before we begin..."

I frowned and nodded. "Yes sir... what is it?"

He sighed and turned to face me, looking me square in the eyes. "This will be official business of the family. You are to take it seriously."

"Of course, my lord! I will do my best to bring you and my family honor!" I spoke the words energetically, flicking my tail as I grinned.

"No derailing the training." He spoke out pointedly.

My ears drooped and I nodded at him. "Y-yes sire..."

"I mean it, my Lady. When you train with I or Katrina, you will be working with truly dangerous powers. You put your desire and urges for us aside. Am I clear?" His words came out barked and authoritative.

I gave a quick nod of my head and frowned. "Of course my lord. Whatever your will, I shall do my utmost to enact it."

"Good girl..." His voice softened and I felt his hand upon my head, stroking my hair gently. I gave a relieved sigh and closed my eyes, basking in his adoration.

"Alice..." Katrina spoke out gently to me.

I blinked open my eyes, looking upon my lover and smiling. "Yes, my Lady?"

She smiled then frowned again. "You need to understand, even with your new-found power. There are forces at play that could easily threaten you or any of us."

The black cat crossed her hands behind her back and paced about as she spoke. "Hunters that would end us in their righteous indignation. Demons and celestials who would steal our power, or strike us down, for being creatures of the darkness."

"C-celestials?" I tilted my head curiously.

"Divine being's my Lady. We may not all be evil in nature, but we have a reputation. In times past our kind were ravenous monsters that mindlessly killed to sate our thirst." Elias spoke the words solemnly towards me.

"W-well... can't we just explain ourselves to them? I mean... times have changed. You've shown we can get by just fine without slaughtering and killing. Even Val and his kind don't have to kill for what they want now." I frowned and looked between the two of them, their gazes looking upon me as if I were a daydreaming child.

"A hunter or celestial would sooner burn you to ash than speak to you. Don't even get me started on the church." Katrina rolled her eyes, a sneer in her voice.

"Then there is the matter of others of our nature as well." Elias spoke as he moved back to the window sill. "Some give in to the hunger, they feed and kill without discrimination. They truly become mindless animals. That is what the hunger will do to us. You give in a little and it always takes a little piece of you with it, when it retreats. Eventually, you lose all control and cease to be but a true monster."

I frown and look away, feeling the bleakness of the conversation weigh heavy upon me. "I see..."

"Were-creatures too." Katrina speaks up.

"What? But... Alex is one of us." I retort, frowning at the cat.

Elias shakes his head. "We have an alliance with his clan. They are one of several dozen though. Rest assured most lycanthropes highly respect nature. They look upon us very much like celestials do. We are abominations against the natural order of things. They would rip us apart without hesitation."

Katrina continued. "You may be able to reason with most if they are not in their full form, you also have the advantage of pushing your will upon them. However, rest assured even some of the strongest of us would stand little chance, with a ravenous lycanthrope bearing down upon them. You saw how quickly Luciano lasted and he was two centuries old."

I nodded and sighed. "What other threats should I be aware of?"

"There are too many to go over, that is the truth of the matter." Elias spoke the words out as he looked over at me from the corner of his eye. "This is why you will learn to fend for yourself. I and my Lady may not always be around to protect you. You need to be strong, to give us peace of mind."

"Yes Master. Yes, my Lady." I spoke to each of them in turn then folded my arms over my stomach while frowning.

"Alice, remember the greatest threat to you will always be yourself. Control your hunger, make logical choices, and you will be fine." Katrina gave me a reassuring smile as she spoke.

"Also, remember that of all the threats, the biggest ones are the very ones we depend upon." Elias looked upon me and nodded. "The mundane have no special powers, but rest assured they are the greatest threat to any supernatural being. They truly are a sleeping beast and if you ever awaken it, all your powers will not be sufficient."

"Truly Master?" I looked upon him with confusion.

Elias showed his teeth and I saw the blue flames flicker into view upon his ears and tail. I saw the wisps drift up from his fingertips as he held his hand palm up before me. "Truly... I know I could easily lay low hundreds of them if they came for me in force. You likely could do similar things, my rabbit." He then snapped a finger and the flames dissipated. "But what are hundreds or even thousands, when you have billions?"

I frowned and nodded at his words. "I-I understand my Lord..."

"It is a power you should respect and fear, Alice." He gave me a sharp nod and moved back to his desk.

Katrina moved next to him and folded her arms behind her back. "Going forward, you will begin training with me twice a week on thaumaturgy."

Elias nodded and folded his hands in his lap. "I wish I could give you more time, but you will also be getting at least one day a week with me. If I can make more time in a given week, you shall have it."

"I understand. When do I begin?" I tilted my head curiously.

"You begin now, let's go my rabbit." Katrina called out to me as she moved past me for the exit of the room.

"A moment, my Lady." Elias spoke out, calling to the black cat.

Katrina froze in stride and quickly turned to face him. "Yes sir?"

The fox moved out from behind his desk and over to me. I blinked upon him, then felt him rest his hand upon the back of my head, pulling me into his chest gently. "Come take a moment with me to hold our rabbit. She has heard a lot of depressing things. Let us remind her, we are here and there is yet good things to be had..."

Katrina smiled and pushed her body to mine as well. I gave a happy sigh, feeling their energy and adoration around me. My ears wobbled drunkenly and I grinned while pushing into Elias's chest. "Ha... my lord, my lady... Must we start training so soon? The night is young and I long for both of you."

Elias grinned and looked to Katrina. "What are your thoughts, my Lady?"

Katrina smirked at the fox and showed her teeth in a grin. "I am not opposed if you allow me the lead this time."

"Oh ho... well since it's for our rabbit. I suppose I can try to reign it in a little, for you two." The fox growled the words into my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.

"You are both so good to me." I coo the words happily, my tail flicking eagerly.

We took the stairs down deep into the basement of the mansion. Katrina had a small duffle bag slung over her shoulder while we walked. We made our way through the dimly lit halls until we happened upon a large metal door. The black cat pulled on the handle and gave it some effort, the metal groaning as it gave way and opened.

We stepped into a large room that stunk of old blood and sweat. The walls of the area were covered in dried dark stains of blood and looked like something out of a horror video game. The area I could see in the darkness was covered in various training mats and dummies. "Nice place. You bring all the girls you're into here?" I cooed the words playfully.

The cat showed me her teeth in a grin and moved to the far end of the room, hitting a large red button on the far side of the wall. The southern end of the wall slid away with a groan of steel and concrete to reveal a firing range with various targets already set up. "A gun range? I thought you were going to teach me your blood tricks?"

Katrina gave a shrug. "I'm going to teach you a lot of things, my rabbit. You're going to learn to shoot and fight, on top of thaumaturgy." The cat put her hands on her hips and gave me a challenging grin. "No partner of mine, is going to be a one-trick rabbit."

My chest filled with pride and I grinned. "Your rabbit eh?"

Katrina nodded and hit a button, the arm holding the used paper target moved forward. She changed it and set the arm back off into the distance. "Alright. I'm starting you off with something easy." She removed two handguns from the weapon rack and set them before me. "I've always been a fan of Glocks, light, and semi-automatic. Also, the grip is ambidextrous, which is important."

"Why is it important?" I asked questioningly, then realized why as she took my left hand and pushed the gun into it. I frowned and awkwardly held it aimed downrange. "But..."

"Yes, I know you're right-handed." She spoke out and put her hands on her hips. "I'm teaching you to shoot like me, that means you're going to be fancy and shoot with both hands."

I smiled and clumsily aimed the gun at the target. The shot I fired off clattered off down the range somewhere. Katrina clicked her tongue and coiled her tail. "Well, Rome wasn't built in a day. Just keep firing off while I start loading you some clips."

"Shouldn't I get some goggles or ear protection?" I spoke the words teasingly, continuing to fire the gun while blinking and trying to focus on the target.

"Very funny..." She gave me a playful huff and set a fresh clip down.

The gun emptied and I picked up the clip, looking it over. "How do I change bullets?"

Katrina smiled and shook her head. "This is going to be a long night..."

So it went. She spent the evening showing me how to use and maintain the guns. Encouraged me to practice on my own time as well. It felt nice to bond with my cat outside of the bedroom. The training room also had a room full of dummies and sparring mats and she put me to work learning various martial arts.

More to the meat and potatoes of the story, let's jump up a few days. Let's talk about my first time using thaumaturgy.

"Alright, I'm going to show you the basics of the basics here." Katrina brought her finger to her tooth and gave it a nip to get the blood flowing. I felt my mouth water just watching her do it. The cat gave me a knowing look and shook her head. "Focus, my Lady."

I nodded and lifted my ears in focus, watching her intently. "Right!"

She nodded. "This only works with blood you've consumed and brought forth. You can't just make other people's blood do the work for you."

"Why is that?" I asked curiously.

"Fuck if I know. I don't make the rules, I just play the game, Alice." Katrina shrugged and held her hand aloft, letting the blood form at her fingertip and drip off it. The cat flicked an ear and the droplet abruptly halted in the air. The blood just stood there hanging in the air, as if suspended in time.

"That's... really cool! I spoke excitedly and wiggled my tail as I looked upon it.

"You're going to lose a lot of blood doing this, Alice. That's why I brought several sports bottles worth." Katrina nodded. "Just like with most things, it's all about willpower. You're not gonna do this on the first try, probably not the first dozen, so be patient."

I nodded and brought my finger to my tooth and tugged it across it, slashing the tip open letting blood well up. I frowned at the bite of pain then held my hand forward like she had, waiting for the blood to drip. "So I just focus... focus and will it to catch in the air and stop, yeah?"

"That's right. Just do your best, I know you will get it in time." Katrina gave me a reassuring nod as she licked the tip of her finger, sealing the wound.

I saw the blood pool and furrowed my brow in anticipation. The drop beaded then fell in a heavy drip. I huffed and pushed all my will forward, as if demanding the drop reverse course. It did reverse course, so hard in fact it shot straight up past my finger and splattered into the ceiling. "Fuck! I didn't do it right, I'm sorry..."

Katrina stood there dumbfounded, her green and copper eyes wide. "T-the fuck was that?!" She hissed out, clenching her fists and glaring at me.

"I'm sorry! I will try harder, don't get so angry with me, Kat..." I whimpered the words, feeling tears come to my eyes at her glaring at me.

"Huh? No! I'm not mad at you... but... seriously, what the fuck was that?" She hissed again and looked up at the ceiling then at my finger. The cat looked at me questioningly and snatched my wrist. I grunted as she pulled my finger to her tongue and lapped up my spilled blood.

I bit my lower lip watching her, then blinked as the cat smacked her tongue and shook her head. "Do it again.

"O-oh okay..." I moved my hand back and reopened the wound, her tongue having sealed it.

"This time... try to will it to do what you did accidentally last time." Katrina frowned and put her hands on her hips, watching me intently.

I nodded and bit my lower lip, focusing as the blood pooled and then eventually dripped down. I pushed out my will, demanded the drop of blood fly straight up to the ceiling. I pushed hard at my will and thought how I wanted it to hit the ceiling very hard to impress, Katrina.

The blood stopped in the air and quivered for half a second then shot into the ceiling like a bullet. I blinked up at the tiny chip of concrete it had made, the impact so strong the blood splatters scattered in little micro drops over a few feet in diameter.

"What in the fuck is that, Alice?!" Katrina snarled and stomped her foot, the movement making her breasts bounce heavily in her top.

"I-I'm sorry!" I whimpered and frowned, scooting away from the angry cat.

Katrina snarled and stomped away from me a few paces before pointing at the wall. "Do this!" She slashed her finger open and waved it in the air. It created several droplets that she then halted in the air and sent forth like bullets. They slammed into the wall in loud heavy impacts, much similar to how mine had sounded.

"O-oh... okay!" I felt pride well up in my chest, I wanted to make my cat proud and I plunged my thumb hard into my fang, then pulled it free and cut my hand in the air in a wide arc.

Things happened pretty quickly at that point. The drops were large because my thumb was bleeding pretty heavily from my eager start. Katrina's eyes widened as I focused and the drops froze in the air. The blood then suddenly all formed together into one large blob about the size of a pool ball and rocketed at the wall. There was a large smashing impact that sent chips of concrete and mists of blood flying back in all directions.

The mist spattered onto me and Katrina and the cat clicked her tongue. "Alice..."

"Y-Yes my... love?" I whimpered the words and started lapping at my thumb to close the deep wound.

She turned to me, her face speckled in drops of my fine mist of blood. "Just how much of my power have you been snapping up when we fuck?"

I pop my thumb in my mouth and suck on it awkwardly, blinking at her before pulling it out and speaking. "I thought I had stopped after the first week. I've been willing myself to not feed on you and Elias."

"Alice... what you're doing... this should have taken years of training..." The cat folded her arms and frowned. "I'm not gonna lie... I'm pretty pissed off right now... that technique you just did... That took me like, five years to do."

I laughed awkwardly and gave her a childish grin. "M-maybe it's your love fueling me."

Katrina took a deep breath through her nose and smiled at me. "Maybe it is, I do love you, Alice." She moved over to the wall where the intercom was and buzzed it.

My ears lifted as I heard Elias's voice come from it. "Is something wrong, my sister?"

"Come down here..." Katrina spoke out into the intercom calmly.

"My Lady, forgive me but I'm in the mid-"

"Get your ass down here now, fox!" Katrina snarled the words and cut the intercom, then proceeded to kick the wall.

I shrunk back from her and blinked several times, her green and bronze eyes were now red. The cat huffed and wagged a finger at me. "I'm not mad at you rabbit, oh no... I love you very much..." She hissed the words and stomped over to the wall, putting her hands on her hips, glaring at the large hole I left behind.

We stayed in that awkward position for a few minutes before the door opened and Elias stepped into the training room. "Sister, I do not appreciate that tone you us-"

He cut his words off as Katrina turned upon him and moved forward, seeing her eyes burning red. "Look at that!" She spat out, pointing to the wall.

"Yes... you make holes in the wall like that all the time, sister. I will have the servan-"

"I didn't do it!" She snapped out, showing her teeth.

Elias pursed his lips and cut his eyes to me, then back to her. The cat gave a nod. "Right... okay. I understand your frustration, my Lady. However-"

"However my ass! T-that is so not fair! Why did it take me years to do that, and she just walks in here and... and!" Katrina huffs out and folds her ears as Elias puts a hand on her head and pushes his will out, calming her.

The cat growls to herself but eventually relaxes her shoulders and lets out a sigh. "It's just... that's not fair at all..." She sighed the words, like a small child that didn't get the toy their sibling got.

"I understand, but this is not Alice's fault. Are you sore with your mate?" Elias spoke the words comfortingly to her.

"I am not... of course I'm not..." She shook her head and Elias gently withdrew his hand.

"Well right now she thinks you are." The fox looked to me and then Katrina looked over to me as well and shook her head.

"I love you, Alice. You mean the world to me, I'm sorry... it's just a bit of... well a huge fucking shock and blow to my ego right now..." She gave me a sad smile as she spoke the words.

"I'm really sorry, Katrina... H-have I cost you so much of your own power? I didn't mean to..." I spoke the words, feeling my voice crack at the idea of it. I felt as if I would start crying if I had taken such a thing from her.

"Our Lady brings up a good question. Come here, Katrina." Elias opens his palm to guide Katrina back to him.

Katrina nodded at his commands and the fox pushed his forehead to her own. The two of them stayed that way for several heartbeats. Elias pulled from her and shook his head. "If I didn't know better, I would say it was all there. If nothing..." The fox shook his head and looked to me. "You said you have been giving her energy daily, correct?"

"Yes, my Master. Have I hurt her?" I frowned and stepped over to the two of them, my heart sinking.

"No... no, I do not think you've done anything malignant. Quite the contrary..." Elias stepped from Katrina and gently placed a hand on my shoulder, guiding me back to where I had stood. "Show me. Do this again..."

I gave a huff and hesitated before plunging my fang deep into my thumb with a wince, then withdrew it and cut my hand in the air. I had my lord watching me now too, both the people I loved observing me. I had to do it right.

I clenched my teeth and felt the blood scatter, then willed it to form like it had done previously. The glob of blood formed then I felt a jolt of pain fill my wrist and hand as more of my blood forcefully left my open wound. The flow added to the sphere until it was the size of a volleyball.

"Alice! Are you mad?!" Elias barked out at me and I blinked my eyes at him, my vision going blurry from the surge of energy and blood loss. The massive ball of blood fell from the air and splashed down onto the ground. I also fell to the ground, the room going dark as I collapsed.

I gave a fatigued groan and furrowed my brow. There was something hard in my mouth, the little plastic tip of a sports bottle. I pulled hard from it, feeling chilled blood flood down my throat. I drank and drank, not thinking about anything else. Once it ran dry, I sighed in relief and let it fall to the floor. Blinking my eyes open I found my head resting In Katrina's lap, the cat gently stroking my hair and ears.

"Sorry... guess I messed things up..." I spoke the words weakly and blinked up at the cat.

"You're fine, my love... Just relax and let the blood do its work..." Katrina spoke the words gently while fondling my ears.

Elias was sitting next to Katrina, his silk suit he had worn, taken the brunt of the large glob splashing to the floor. Heavy bloodstains were all over the material.

"I'm really sorry, Master..." I spoke the words and frowned as I blinked at him.

"It's nothing of consequence, my rabbit." He sat there looking me over and shook his head. "This is beyond me. I thought you may have been using foxfire, but you were not. I should contact the council and see if any of the members have an idea as to what is going on."

"You play a dangerous game with our lover, fox!" Katrina snarled the words, showing her teeth.

Elias fixed her with an annoyed look. "None of us can fathom this, one amongst them may."

"And they may very well strike her down out of fear!" Katrina spat the words at him and I felt her hold me closer to her. "You will not!"

"You do not presume to order me, sister!" Elias showed his own teeth, his ears folding. "I do it out of concern for her."

"The road to hell, my lord. Need I remind you it is paved in good intentions and concerns?" Katrina glared at him and kept a close grip on me.

I frowned in her grip and cleared my throat. "Would they so readily do such a thing?"

"They fear anything that would potentially upset their petty balance of power. They most certainly would!" Katrina hissed the words and glared at the fox.

"Sister, you..." He gritted his teeth and looked away.

"You know I speak the truth. None of them could be trusted past their own ends. Call upon sir Val if you need further insight, but leave the others out of it for now!" She spoke the words defiantly and gave a hesitant breath before shaking her head. "My lord, Elias... my fox... I love you, but I will not let you parade our rabbit to a firing squad. You will have to strike me down first..."

I shook my head and shifted to sit up off her lap. "E-enough... you two will not come at odds over me!"

Elias lowered his head, his teeth gritted as he growled. "No... she is right. In my panic for your concern, I thought of the simplest solution." He took a sigh and shook his head before looking upon me and Katrina. "Peace Katrina, I could never bring either of you harm. You two are my world."

The black cat gave a quick nod and wiped her eyes. "I can't stand the thought of losing either of you... We will figure this out ourselves. Between us and sir Val, I'm sure we can make light of it."

"Yes, as a member of the council I wish to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I agree with you, my Lady. We will keep this internal for now." Elias rose to his feet.

Katrina also stood then both of them offered me a hand. I smiled and took each as I stood, but then I held both of their hands longer. I gave my fox and cat a playful grin, refusing to release their hands.

The three of us stood there for several heartbeats just holding hands. Elias smiled and offered his free hand to Katrina. Once they joined as well, I clicked my tongue and gave them both a playful grin. "Excellent, now we can commence my evil plan. I call it, operation ring of roses."

Katrina let out a snort and released both our hands, walking away a few paces with a laugh. Elias grinned and stood there holding my hand. "You certainly know how to lighten up a situation, my Lady."

I gave a proud huff and released his hand, putting both of mine on my hips. "I've got to do something to make light of all the drama I create."

Elias nodded then looked to Katrina and frowned. "I wish to confirm something. Do you have more blood with you?"

The black cat flicked her ear and looked over her shoulder at the fox. "Yes, the duffle bag is full of it. We've got about six more sports bottles worth."

The white fox nodded and moved to the bag, collecting two more bottles. He tossed me one. "Drink some more, Alice. You lost a lot of blood earlier." I nodded and started happily nursing from the tip of the bottle, my tail flicking as the chilled blood filled me.

"You too, Katrina." Elias tossed her the other bottle.

Katrina caught the bottle and tilted her head in question. "My lord... I've not lost much blood, there is no need."

"You will need it for what I ask next of you." He spoke the words and collected another bottle, sliding it into the blood-spattered pocket of his pants.

She hesitated before pulling the cap free and drank the blood down in heavy labored gulps. I lifted my ears watching her, seeing her force it down. My cat really hated cold blood. She shivered and grimaced before dropping the empty bottle to the ground. "Bleh... there... what now?"

Elias smiled and walked with her to the wall we had been standing at earlier. He flicked his ears upwards and pushed his hand forward, grabbing her shoulder. Even from back where I stood, I could feel the force of his will flood forth. "I want to see your limit, sister."

Katrina's eyes flashed crimson and she showed her teeth in a hungry grin. "Is that an order, Master?"

"It is, show me your full extent." He released his hand from her shoulder and crossed his arms, standing next to her expectantly.

The cat gave a sigh, not unlike the ones I would hear when she was in throes of pleasure with me. My ears lifted curiously and I walked to the side of the room to get a better perspective but made sure to keep a safe distance.

"Alright, no complaining to me about the repair bills though..." The cat sauntered casually over to the firing range. She collected two very large guns from the weapon rack, then moved back to the side of the room with me, and Elias. She slid the guns into the back of her tight black jeans and folded her arms over her stomach, looking at the large hole I had left in the wall.

Katrina brought both thumbs to her teeth and gnashed them open, blood running down to her wrists. Her eyes flared bright, not unlike hot iron that had just pulled from a smith's forge.

The cat cut her arms in a wave through the air, droplets scattering before her in all directions. She didn't halt them in the air, she didn't need to. She moved with impossible speed and I was equally shocked I could see her movements. In a fraction of a heartbeat, she had drawn the guns and proceeded to shoot each drop of blood as it sailed through the air. The bullets cut through the crimson and as they did, they seemed to glow with heat.

The guns were obviously semi-automatic but they seemed to have trouble keeping up with her speed. It was as if she was having to make microscopic delays to let the bullet enter the chamber and exit before she moved on to the next drop. Over a dozen blood infused bullets sailed into the wall with heavy thumps of impact. I then jumped when each ignited into a small explosion of fire and energy, small bits of rock and debris scattering in wisps of dust.

Katrina grinned as she held the pistols down at her sides, letting blood drip down the hot length of the guns. The droplets seemed to well at the mouth of the barrels, then she spun around, slinging them upwards. Four large drops of blood sailed through the air before firing off on their own like bullets. They sailed across the length of the room to the gun range several dozen yards away, whizzing further into the alley. She fired off four shots, two from each gun, the bullets following right behind the blood. I couldn't see the position they landed when they struck the targets, but upon impact, all four targets went up in a gout of fire.

I felt my heart lurch into motion as the cat dragged her tongue across the hot length of the gun, licking away the blood and looking at me as if she were ravenous. The whole display was incredibly sexy looking to me.

"Yes, your talent is astounding as always, but this doesn't push your limits, sister." Elias gave the cat an expectant look and tapped his foot.

"Tch... what a nag..." Katrina's voice came out not unlike a haughty teenager, that was being fussed at by a parent. Using her nails she tore into her own wrists, letting heavy gushes of blood flow forth all over her palm and fingers.

I felt panic fill me at the amount of blood she was losing from the wounds and found my feet moving towards her. Elias saw me on the move and shook his head so I stopped with a frown.

"You better have blood ready for me, old fox..." The cat hissed the words and focused her will. The blood that had puddled on the floor all rose back up and formed into large spheres that hovered about her palms.

She cast the sphere out towards the wall and it exploded into thousands of tiny shards, not unlike a grenade going off. The droplets of blood all formed into tiny blades and bulleted forward, piercing into the concrete while dust and bloody mist filled the air. Once the dust settled the entire wall was covered in thousands of little bloody shards. I lifted my ears as every single one seemed to glow hot, the whole wall seemingly turned white before a loud explosion boomed forth, taking several inches of concrete with it.

"Very good... how about concentrated impact?" The fox barked out towards the cat.

"You trying to bring the whole fucking house down on top of us? Whatever..." Katrina snarled and brought both hands forward, gathering blood not unlike how I had done before my collapse. It started at the size of a baseball but quickly grew to the size of a beach ball.

She looked pale and withered from the gathering of blood, her face drained. Katrina spat out a curse and sent the large ball of blood sailing towards the wall. It crashed into the wall with the impact of a battering ram and simply burrowed through several feet.

The cat gave a shudder and slumped. Elias was already on her and brought her down into his lap. The fox quickly grabbed her wrists and lapped at them several times to close them. "Good job, Katrina..." He spoke the words gently and moved his wrist to his mouth. His teeth made a deep cut into it and he held it to her mouth.

I flinched as the cat grabbed his arm and shoved her teeth hard into his wrist. I could hear the cracking and tearing of tendons and ligaments, then she started drinking ravenously from him.

I quickly moved over to them and frowned. "Master, is she okay? A-are you okay? That sounded like it hurt..."

Elias gave a pained laugh and grinned. "Oh it's agonizing, but it's okay... it's for her after all..." He cooed the words and stroked the cats ears.

"But.. what about the sports bottle?" I asked curiously.

The fox shook his head. "That's for me. Katrina hate's chilled blood, remember?" He fumbled to get it out of his pocket one-handed. "Ah but... be a sweet rabbit and bring me a few more, she is going to need a lot."

I nodded and quickly grabbed the whole duffle bag, bringing it over to him. I took a seat beside them. "That was..." I shivered and felt how eager I was. "Hgn... s-she is so cool..."

Elias smiled and brushed his fingertips through her crimson locks. We both could hear her drinking frantically from him, the color slowly starting to return to her cheeks. "This has confirmed some things, and added a plethora of new questions in the process..." The fox spoke the words, then flinched and held the bottle to me. "Could you remove the cap, she is drinking too fast for me to sip from the nozzle of it."

I nodded and twisted off the cap, passing the bottle back to him. The fox turned it up and started drinking heavily from it, downing the whole bottle in a matter of seconds before shivering and setting it aside. "Another please..." He panted the words, his eyes looking glazed over.

Following his request, I opened another and then got a third ready for him. "What did you confirm, Master?" I spoke out curiously, my own hand drifting to stroke at my cat's ears as well.

He blinked at me in a daze, then shook his head to clear the fog. "Ah... s-six months ago... she would have had to stop at the big explosion... that little stunt at the end... she probably emptied all but a fraction of her reserves."

"Maybe she has been training really hard?" I asked curiously, passing him the third bottle. Elias started drinking it down as Katrina pulled from his wrist and dragged her tongue against it, closing the wound.

"I've hardly been training at all..." She spoke the words weakly, shifting her gaze to me.

"Then what happened?" I frowned and watched the fox finish the third bottle and growl, his ears drooped, the euphoria of being fed on getting to him.

"You happened... That little stunt should have cost me another few years of intense daily training." Katrina frowned and pushed a hand up to stroke Elias's face.

I shook my head and frowned. "I'm really sorry..."

Katrina giggled and looked back at me. "Lots of sex with you vs years of intense training? Hm... yes, you should apologize."

My cheeks darkened and I grinned at her words. My gaze shifted to Elias who had seemed to reign himself in. He moved to grip his wrist, rolling it and clenching it. "Are you well, my Lady?"

Katrina nodded and slowly sat up, then rubbed her head. "Yeah... sorry for being so belligerent..."

"That's okay, we've all got our quirks when our demons are running free." Elias smiled and placed his hands upon his lap. "I will reach out to, Val. Maybe he can come to call again soon and shed some light upon this."

My ears lifted at the words and my tail flicked. "Ah... that would be wonderful to see him again!"

Katrina and Elias shared a look before glancing back to me. I frowned and averted my eyes. "S-such a look... are you upset with me?"

Elias folded his ears and smiled. "I learned long ago that jealousy is a dead-end road. I do not begrudge your feelings for my brother. You know my one and only request of you."

"Of course, my Master!" I spoke the words dutifully and then glanced over at Katrina.

The cat gave me a shrug. "You are what you are. I'm not as old and wise as our lord, but if you are happy... I have no reason to protest."

"Truly?" I lift my ears, looking into her eyes.

Katrina gives me a cocky grin, meeting my blue eyes with her green and copper ones. "Of course, perhaps I should call upon sir Val and see if he would lay with me sometime."

"Ah! You truly should, my love!" I grinned and flicked my tail. "I mean, every lover has their own merits and virtues. However, isn't life best enjoyed in the company of others? Broaden your horizons and find new experiences."

Katrina flinched at my words and drooped her ears. "Ha... actually, I was trying to spark jealousy in you with the statement, I suppose that was folly given what you are."

I frowned and looked between her and Elias. "I love both of you, I am yours. Know that if you ever willed it, I would sustain myself upon just blood, and lay with none other than the two of you."

"I find the idea of a monogamous succubus, rather comedic, if I'm being honest." Elias grinned and looked to Katrina. "I'm not opposed to the idea of having you as just ours, but I leave that decision to her."

Katrina clicked her tongue and looked away. "If I'm being honest, I wouldn't mind that. However... I know what you are and I think you would be more happy with the way things are currently."

I frowned and folded my arms. "I do not want to cause you distress, my cat. I could spend my days with just the two of you at my side. That would thrill me to no end."

Katrina waved my words off and shook her head. "No no... I did the monogamous thing both in life and early into this. It has never ended well. As our master has said, love and have fun. Just remember whom you truly belong to."

I grinned and clenched my fists, giving the cat a playful smile. "Oh, I'm glad. Because I was so looking forward to ravaging Val again... and again... and-"

"I get it!" The cat snaps out at me, her cheeks dark.

I gave a coy grin and flick my tail. "You could join me with him, my love."

Katrina's cheeks flushed before she stomped a foot, making her breasts bounce heavily in her top. "I am not a succubus like you, Alice!" She glared at the fox and hissed. "My Lord, say something!"

The fox gave an amused smile and turned his back to the two of us, walking for the exit. "I do not know and I have no opinion."

I pushed up to Katrina's back and puffed into her flicking black ear playfully. "I think training is done for the day, you know what that means..." I cooed the words lovingly as I brought her down to the floor of the room eagerly.

The cat blinked up at me, her cheeks darkening as I gripped her wrists and pinned them. "You speak of laying with another and then presume to take me?" She hissed back with a glare.

I gave a thoughtful look at her words, before showing my teeth. "That's the plan." I pushed my chest to hers and then forced her into an eager kiss. I felt Katrina's arms grow weak before my tongue darted out to roll against her own. "That's a good kitty... You know you and the fox will always be my favorite..." I whispered the words against her lips before resuming the kiss.

A grin shows on my face at your expression. "Well it wasn't the most classy place I've made love, but I'm not a picky rabbit either."

Your question about my power was expected and I nod. "I will reveal that later, my sweet." I look out the windows of the gazebo at the rain. It was now coming down in heavy sheets. "Ah... surely you would catch cold if we left now. I suppose we are stuck here, for a time."

I smile at your apology while I place another log into the fire pit. "Nonsense my pet, your company is always appreciated. Come let us sit together for a while longer. I will regale you more soon enough."
