Skye opened the door to her suite and was greeted by Ruki sitting on the center of the bed, adorably staring at her. He must have been patiently awaiting her return. "Hi, baby," she grinned, going over to sit in front of him and embracing his neck. Skye let her wrists drape and gave him a loving kiss atop his head.

Ruki placed his left paw on her thigh and licked her nose with just as much affection whilst blissfully gazing into her eyes. Skye being out of his sight for more than ten minutes, had him begin to worry about her. He wouldn't think of it as clinginess, but Ruki couldn't have anything happen to her. Skye was all he knew.

Her grin developed into a small smile after he'd licked her, and she leaned forward to softly press her forehead against his. "I think someone may need a bath," she said quietly. A very light musky scent emanated from him, likely due to their adventures throughout the region lately. It was expected. "Come on; I'll brush your coat later too." Skye got up from the bed and went to enter the bathroom, flipping on the light switch and walking along the white tiled floor to the tub. There were many expensive bottles of soap and other shower products lining a metal rack attached to the wall above it.

Ruki stretched his limbs at the doorway, walking in behind her just as she turned the water on. The room was spacious enough to hold them both, but it was rather small. A glossy white sink and a cabinet were to his right and a metal rack with a sky blue towel hanging on it to his left.

"Come here, Ruk'. I made the water warm for you." She grinned back at him and crouched down by the side of the tub.

He obeyed, Ruki wasn't the hugest fan of getting wet, but he did need a good wash, and he definitely wouldn't give Skye a hard time.

She ran her hand across the top of his head and played with his erect ears for a moment. "Go ahead; it's ready." Skye turned off the water and stuck her hand in it to test its temperature.

Ruki stepped over the bathtub's rim and submerged his two front legs at first, then the rest of his body followed suit. He turned around to face her.

"Goodness," Skye giggled. "You're taller than the bathtub now." It stopped just below his chest as he stood. "Sit down for me? I need you wet." Once he did, she leaned over and wet her hands, throwing water over the upper half of Ruki's body and running her them over his fur, starting from his head. "There we go." Afterwards, she stood and studied the row of soaps neatly placed on the rack. "Hmm..."

He watched Skye ponder on and sniff test a few bottles while resisting the urge to shake out his fur. He'd probably be scolded if he did.

She grabbed two different bottles and crouched back down. "Okay, tell me which of these two you prefer." She placed one on the floor beside her and opened the other, putting the pink bottle up to his nose. "It's pecha berry."

Ruki sniffed the sweet-scented soap a few times before pulling his nose away to let her know he was finished. He'd eaten pecha berries back in Alola and loved them, so there was a bit of bias involved.

She replaced the bottle in her hand with the other. "And this is kasib."

One whiff told him it was a lot sweeter than pecha was, almost too sweet. He'd go with the latter if it was all right with Skye, so he looked down at the pecha scented soap on the floor.

"Oh, you want pecha? That works, close your eyes and stand back up for me." She switched bottles and flipped the top off of the pecha berry shampoo, then generously drizzled it down Ruki's back, starting from the top of his head. "Okay, you can open now," she said while leaning over and rubbing the soap into his fur. She used her nails to dig into and scrub along his back and sides as well.

Ruki closed his eyes some while she did. He was thoroughly enjoying Skye's nails and fingertips sifting through his fur. It sent tingles throughout his entire body and brought tranquillity to his breathing.

She giggled, seeing his lax expression. "Like it, baby?" She continued, making sure to tend to his chest and ears as well.

He did a lot. Ruki savored her touch even more now than he used to. He went on to close his eyes completely as she threw more warm water over his body and pressed into his back with more pressure whilst scrubbing it.

"I'll get your tail and paws in a few moments, and we'll be through after that," Skye said. She'd prolong the massage since he seemed to be enjoying it very much, and she loved pleasing him.

Once he was clean all around, Skye drained the cloudy water and got one of the blue towels from off of the rack to dry Ruki with. She draped it over his back and softly rubbed it over his body in circular motions until his fur held onto no more or barely any water. Skye felt him shivering underneath the towel. "Aw, are you cold, baby?"

He nodded, even ice types got cold sometimes.

"Come on; I'll tuck you under the blanket," she said and hung the towel back up, leading him to the bed and pulling the blanket down from by the pillow.

Ruki hopped up and walked over to the uncovered spot. He watched Skye undress, leaving herself in light pink panties and a darker shaded pink tee she'd slipped into. She lay under the covers beside him, and he did as well, facing her chest.

She tucked the blanket around and under his body and proceeded to pull him closer so that his cheek rested on her shoulder, his soft breaths hitting her neck. Skye leaned down and kissed him on the side of his head before resting her head on the pillow. "You smell good, Ruki," she smiled. "Get some sleep."

He nuzzled his face into her neck and slowly closed his eyes. Her warmth embraced him, and as her fingers would slowly trace themselves up and down his back, he'd drift off to sleep in mere minutes.

Skye felt his body eventually fall limp in her hold, and she silently exhaled while gently pressing her hand into his upper back. They'd be back in Alola in just a few more days. She loved this vacation so far. It had brought her and Ruki a lot closer, she got to reunite with Ella, and she met a new friend, a cute, green-eyed one at that. Skye wasn't looking for a relationship outside of Ruki for the time being, but Aaron was kind, quite timid, but accessible. She grinned to herself and brought her legs up to Ruki's fluffy tails, shutting her eyes.
