Craig hummed to himself in the evening light of an amber wood. The deciduous trees were all mid-shedding as the angle of the spheres turned his home towards winter. The rotund badger wore a soft scarf around his neck and had his side bag on, but little else. He didn't think he'd need snow gear, after all. Bare paws crunching and crushing dried orange and yellow leaves, his presence was quite audible even amongst the rustling of the branches in the breeze.

The badger paused as he heard an even louder disturbance of leaves. When he looked for the source of the sound, he saw a much larger figure. Sporting an impressively long tail, tall tufted ears and fluffy neck fur, Craig surmised that the taller furre was a binturong. His ample roundness and fluffy tail were brown with cream spots, and his ears and neck-fluff were a darker brown. Another line of the darker fur appeared across the top of his impressive gut.

The line's purpose became obvious as the biturong pulled his pouch open and dug around inside. He paused, eyes meeting Craig's, and then shoved his hand back and forth in his pouch side to side. He retrieved his arm without whatever he was looking for. "Hey there! I'm Benny!" The larger male declared, beckoning the badger closer.

Blushing softly, Craig complied as he walked over. With all that extra padding and fluffy fur it was no wonder he didn't have to wear a scarf or anything, the mustelid thought. As he approached, he looked over the spotty outer surface of the big guy's pouch, wondering if the less than spherical nature of the belly was due to something in there... it looked a bit differently shaped from before Benny dug around in there, it seemed. As he got closer, he realized that at their size difference the distance between the dark-furred lip of the pouch and where the underhang of the binturong's gut must have cut it off was a bit more than his height.

Benny idly trailed a long-nailed finger at the lip of his pouch. "Yeah, binturongs don't normally got pouches." He said knowingly.

The badger blushed deeper, tearing his eyes up towards the friendly face above all that belly.

Closing the rest of the distance between them with the loud crunching of leaves, the spotted binturong drummed his fingers over the top of his belly, amongst the largest of the cream spots on his body. It encompassed most of his chest and down to just above the entrance to his pouch. "Fancy a ride, cutie?"

"C-Craig." The smaller male corrected, blushing still. "What kind of ride?"

Benny's friendly smile broadened into a cheeky grin as he dug a thumb into the lip of his pouch and yanked forward... Even from the ground, Craig could tell that that stretch could easily clear his widest point. The binturong's spotted tail swung and wished behind him as he awaited the badger's response.

Still blushing deeply, Craig started nodding, a big dumb smile crossing his cheeks.

With his free hand, the larger male scooped the badger straight off the ground. Benny easily turned Craig to face away from him as he lowered him right into the soft warmth of his pouch.

Looking down, the badger saw that his earlier guess was right. On either side of the spot he was being set into there was a number of items just stuffing the pouch full. Soft toys, books, items of clothing, a couple throw pillows, a skein of fabric, some fresh pears... all stuffed in with no rhyme or reason. Craig swallowed... He had seen the big guy clear the spot he was sinking into when he first saw he was there. Was he just one more object of interest, one more soft round thing to stuff in the pouch and keep? The thought was not so much worrying as sending the poor mustelid into a deeper fluster as he settled into place. He set his paws on the rim of the pouch, holding on, though there didn't seem to be a danger of him sinking deeper by accident.

"And where am I taking my little passenger?" Benny asked warmly. He rolled his hips a bit, stroking on either side of his pouch with his claws.

"Badgerton." Craig responded, giving a light squeeze to the dark fuzz on the rim of the pouch. He had settled with it nearly up to his neck, but it was just as though he was tucked into a comfy bed. Just... upright.

The binturong nodded, shifting his weight again. His pouch tightened up, squeezing Craig into the softness of his belly and between the cushy collected items he shared the space with. A moment later, Benny leapt up into the canopy of the forest. Against all reason with such a great weight his body carried, he easily grasped onto a branch and changed his momentum, swinging forward.

At first, the badger was shocked, holding on tight to the rim of the pouch. But after that first swing when they turned and Benny used his tail to propel them to the next tree, trading between hands and spotty fluff... Craig was still holding on tight, but he was grinning wide as well, mirroring the larger male's expression. His grip was like holding onto the restraints on a thrill ride, the chilly air blasting across his face while the rest of his body was kept toasty warm in the soft embrace of the binturong's pouch.

Limb to limb to limb to limb, Benny swung and soared, careful to keep his passenger secure and away from any thinner branches or leafy masses he was breaking through. The binturong let out a happy squeal... after all, he had to have a pouch for a reason, and holding onto someone and giving them the ride of their life was a great reason in his opinion.
