#1 of Tails of Semblance Stories
A bobcat encounters a shy wolf who gets stood up from a date, so they decide to invite the wolf to have a date with them instead, leading to a grand start to a relationship between them.
This is the start of a new universe/series of stories called Tails of Semblance, which centers around a small community of anthros in the city of Semblance. This story features the beginning of a relationship between two of the characters.
In the town of Semblance, there was a local coffee shop. Known for their pretty overpriced sugary drinks and variety of both lean and muscular canine workers, Moonbarks had one rather unique barista there. They were a purple-furred bobcat named Bow, and they stood out like a sore thumb. Not only were they a feline in a predominantly canine-filled workplace, but also their physical appearance. Brightly colored fur wasn't anything new, but they popped with their deep red, side-swept hair, and multicolored, rainbow eyes.
Despite being different, Bow got along just well in the workplace. The company itself thought it good to have some diversity amongst the species that worked there, and some of the other townsfolk found it as a nice change of pace from all the dogs. Species didn't really matter to Bow, as all they cared about was making people happy and trying to put some light into their lives. This was especially tested on one chilly fall Friday evening.
It was around 6 PM when an orange-ish wolf walked into the coffee shop. Bow looked over, giving him a warm smile as they finished cleaning the blender they had just used. The wolf was a maned-wolf, having a stripe of black hair go from his head down his neck, ending at a fluffy collar around said neck. He was wearing a dark leather jacket, red checkered shirt, and a simple pair of jeans. When he approached the counter, Bow greeted him. "Hi, welcome to Moonbarks! What can I get you today?"
The customer scanned the menu real quickly, having a nervous expression that Bow recognized as "Not knowing what he wanted but not wanting to waste too much time thinking."
"I'll take just a grande hot chocolate please." He said shortly. "And, um, make that two, actually, one with skim milk if possible... please."
Bow nodded, typing in the order on the register. "Got yourself someone coming?" They asked. The wolf immediately blushed and began stammering.
"I-I-I uh, yeah I um, I got a date. She said, that, she'd meet me here... later, I think."
Giving a small laugh, the bobcat smiled. "Sounds exciting, coffee dates are a nice first date. What's the name on those drinks?"
"Sun, like the star."
Bow quickly finished up the transaction and began work on the two drinks, while Sun sat down at one of the empty tables. It seemed weird to the bobcat that the wolf would have come here alone if he had a date. Usually, couples came in together, or waited for one another to arrive before ordering drinks. However, it wouldn't be the weirdest thing that had happened to Bow while they were working, so they didn't pry. Once the hot chocolates were ready, Bow took the drinks over to where Sun was sitting. He mumbled a quick thanks as Bow went back to work.
It wasn't that unusual for Moonbarks to get nearly no customers near the end of the day, seeing as coffee was usually reserved for early morning stuff. However, even after nearly forgetting about the wolf, Bow noticed that not a single person came in looking for him. Sun was still sitting at the table, alone, one empty cup in hand, and the other drink surely cold by now. Suddenly, it was closing time, which meant that Bow's shift was over. As they grabbed their stuff and said goodbye to their coworkers, Sun was still there at the table, now looking absolutely depressed. Feeling sympathetic, the bobcat walked over.
"Mind if I sit down?" They asked the wolf, who shook his head. "Did something happen? I thought you said someone was coming."
"I thought so too," Sun responded quietly. "I thought she was going to actually go out with me, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be."
"Well that's awfully rude. Did she even text you at all why she couldn't make it?"
The wolf shook his head again. "No, not a word. And it's not like I haven't been trying, she's just... been leaving me on read."
Bow gave a disapproving frown. Clearly, Sun was super excited about this date, and it seemed like something he didn't usually do. To have him be absolutely stood up with no reason made the bobcat very frustrated, as they hated to hear about those kinds of people still existing. They took pity on the poor wolf, and that's when an idea popped into their head.
"You know what? You're not going to end this night alone and sad." They announced. "Come on, you and I are going to have so much fun that she'll be jealous."
Sun blinked in surprise at the sudden decision, caught completely off guard. "I-I'm sorry, what?"
Bow stood up and offered a hand to the wolf, giving him a gentle but determined smile. "I know a great place we can go to tonight. I promise, it'll make you feel better, Sun."
The wolf was still very hesitant, but it seemed like Bow had good intentions. Without a better alternative, he took the bobcat's hand and was guided out of the coffee shop to the parking lot just outside. The two of them walked up to a motorcycle, plain metallic red with a rainbow decal on front.
"Ever ridden on a motorcycle before?" Bow asked, grabbing two helmets out from the side baskets.
"N-no, but I've ridden regular bikes." Sun responded, taking one of the helmets.
"Trust me, this is much better than a bike. I'm Bow, by the way."
As Sun put the helmet on, he looked up at the bobcat. Even through the helmet they were wearing, Bow's cheerful and friendly smile was still there. Whatever bad feelings Sun was having began to melt away, and he was once again hopeful that the night wouldn't end in disaster.
"Sun, b-but I'm sure you knew that already."
The two then climbed onto the vehicle, Bow kicking it to life as Sun got on behind them. The bobcat called out for Sun to hold on, wrapping his arms around their middle. He did so sort of nervously, but it was a nice feeling to actually be holding someone. Shortly after, Bow guided the bike out of the parking lot, and the two of them zoomed to another part of the town.
Sun whined as he landed another gutter ball, his third in a row. The score was right now 3 to 20, with Bow in the lead. They had brought the two of them to the local arcade/bowling-alley/diner fun center, hoping that they could find some fun here. Unfortunately, Bow didn't expect the wolf to be so inexperienced at bowling, so it seemed to be hindering his emotions instead of helping.
"Want some help?" Bow asked the sulking wolf, who nodded. Smiling, the bobcat got up and walked up to him. Gently, they took a hold of his arms. They were a little surprised to feel how hard his arm muscles were, considering he seemed pretty slim otherwise. They couldn't help but daydream briefly about how it would feel to be carried by them, before shaking their head and returning to the task on hand.
"You're swinging your arm too hard diagonally," Bow explained. "And trying too hard to spin. Just try to make it simple. Swing straight back, don't lock your arm, and follow through as straight as possible. Don't try to over correct, you'll just end up going diagonal again."
As they gave their explanation, they moved the wolf's arms accordingly. Sun tried to listen to them the best he could, giving a few practice swings on his own as they released him. Bow then walked up to the lane, miming their own bowling ball.
"For your feet movements, you basically want to do it in four steps, ending on the foot opposite to your swinging arm. Don't focus on what pin you want to hit, focus on what arrow you want to hit. Just like this."
Bow followed through with their own instructions, giving Sun a better visual of what he should try. Nervously, the wolf nodded as he grabbed his ball from the retriever. He did his best to follow the bobcat's instructions; he swung back throughout his first couple steps, focusing on one of the middle arrows, and released as he landed on his left foot.
The bowling ball rolled and, while not hitting a spare, managed to hit six of the pins. Excited, Sun couldn't help but fist bump the air and smile. He then turned around and walked back over to the chairs as Bow clapped for him.
"Well done! Keep doing shots like that, and you'll dominate your future bowling games." They teased, which Sun chuckled at.
"Heh, yeah, that would be nice. Thank you, Bow." The wolf replied, to which Bow nodded before walking up for their turn. As he watched the feline, Sun couldn't help but notice his excitement hadn't died. Instead, it seemed to have just changed it's target. It was weird, as it felt to the wolf like a sense of peace, but also a sense of longing to do more. It was similar to the feeling he had gotten when he had been accepted to go on a date earlier that evening, like he was finally about to meet someone he could get very close to. Before he realized it, it was Sun's turn again, and he blushed as he got out of his trance and stood up, ready to try Bow's advice again.
Bow and Sun walked through the arcade, their game cards full of points and only a game each left on them. They were trying to decide what they wanted to do last before the place closed, wanting to end it on a high note. Sun suddenly pulled at Bow, who turned to see what caught his attention.
"Hey, how about we do a round of Pawstep Mania?" The wolf suggested, pointing at one of the machines. It was one of those dance machines, with the pad of arrows that you used your feet to press, playing obscure, anime, rhythm songs. Bow pursed their lips and frowned.
"I'm not sure, I've never been the best with these kinds of games."
Despite this, Sun still excitedly dragged them over. "Come on, I'll show you how to get better. They're not that hard with a little practice!"
Bow didn't want to dampen the wolf's excitement, so they followed through and went up to the machine. Sun was already on one of the pads, swiping his card and selecting a song. "I'll do the first one solo so you can watch. The key to remember is that it's a rhythm game, so your typically going to be stepping to the beat, or I guess stomping is more accurate. They have these bars behind you to place your hands so you can focus more on where your feet go."
Sun selected a song Bow actually recognized, being an opening for an anime they had watched last month. After the start up timer, Sun was immediately dancing. Since the bobcat had a good idea about the beats of the song, they could better recognize the timing of the wolf's stomps. Watching him was mesmerizing, as he was completely absorbed into the motions.
It was during this time that Bow began to feel something. It felt similar to when they wanted to be closer to someone, but it felt like much more at the same time. Sun just seemed so cheerful, so excited, so... cute. It felt like the bobcat was witnessing something very few got to due to the wolf's nervous exterior, and they felt very special cause of it.
Before Bow knew it, Sun was done dancing and glanced over at them. Once they realized they were staring, the feline turned away and blushed, chuckling. "Sorry, I was just admiring your dancing."
Sun blushed in response, smiling. "Thanks, I... I really do enjoy dancing. And music, I enjoy music a lot."
Bow nodded, taking a look at their card. "Here, how about I go quickly recharge the card with just one extra credit, then we can dance together?"
Sun nodded back, internally squealing. "I would like that a lot, thank you."
The night at the Arcade ended with the two mammals buying some take-out dinner at the arcade's diner, as well as cashing in their points. They decided against getting a lot of big prizes due to there being already very little space in Bow's motorcycle bags, but they still got a couple stuffed animals and candy. Finally, they were basically forced out of the building as it was closing time, and the workers needed to clean the place up for the morning rush.
Once everything was secured in the bags, Bow and Sun both hopped on the bike. Before they put their helmets on, Bow spoke up. "So, how did you enjoy our date, Sun?"
The wolf chuckled nervously. "Uh, we're actually calling it a date? Jeez, um... It was, it was amazing. So much better than I thought. I really can't thank you enough Bow. I... I couldn't have asked for a better night."
Bow nodded and smiled, giving the wolf a little flirty peck on the cheek. "I appreciate that. You know, we could extend the night a little longer if you want."
The wolf looked at them with a mix of confusion and a hint of hope. Bow had the sense that Sun was hoping for more than just a chat from his coffee date, and while he did get much more than that, the feline knew that the arcade was not what he had in mind.
"You can say no," They clarified. "And I can just drive you home, drop you off, and maybe talk with you some other day. Or, you can come with me to my place, and we can end this date on a more... pleasurable note."
Sun could feel his whole face burned as he considered the options. Bow had already done so much for him, he felt like it would be asking for too much if he said yes. At the same time, when was he going to get the opportunity to do this ever again? It's not like people were lining up to hook up with the wolf who's muscles on the outside, but inside is shy and barely knows anything about proper social interaction. Besides, it was Bow asking, not him.
"I, um, I wouldn't mind seeing what your place looked like." He finally answered, looking away nervously.
Bow gave a giddy smile and nodded, putting their helmet on. "Oh don't worry, you'll get to see much more than that." They teased, revving up the engine and guiding the two of them back onto the main street.
Bow unlocked the apartment door, leading both themselves and Sun inside. To the surprise of both of them, they actually lived in the same apartment building as each other, just different floors. This made the decision for how long exactly they wanted to stay easier, as well as if they ever wanted to hang out again. However, that was for later.
It was a pretty typical apartment: main living room with a couch, coffee table, and TV, plus a few game consoles, kitchen across the way with an island separating the two, and a hallway in the back with a couple of rooms and the bathroom. Sun just kind of awkwardly stood at the door while Bow went ahead and began to strip some of their outerwear. The bobcat looked over at the wolf and smiled.
"Feel free to just leave your shoes by the door and put your jacket wherever. We won't be needing either tonight anyways." They instructed, allowing Sun to relax. Before the two could speak more, someone else walked in from the back rooms, surprising the wolf.
"Oh, hey Bow, you're back late. Who's the wolf? Another coworker?"
The woman talking looked to be a goat of sorts. She was wearing a pretty loose tank top and some black lounge pants covered with stars and skulls. Her hair was in a pixie cut with hair covering one of her eyes, the color black with the tips of the bangs being a bright hot pink. The rest of her fur was white, her eyes a rust brown, and there were little fangs poking out from her lips. She was very pretty, albeit pretty intimidating to Sun.
"Nah, Ace, just someone I met at work and decided to go on a date with." Bow explained, which caused the goat to roll her eyes.
"And so you promised to sleep with him I'm guessing?"
"Yeah, pretty much."
"Fine, just don't be too loud, I have a morning class." Ace then walked up to Sun and extended a hand. "I should probably say hello. Hi, I'm Acerola, but you can call me Ace. She/Her. I'm one of Bow's roommates."
Sun shook her hand and raised an eyebrow. "One of?"
"My sibling also lives with us, they're just off also sleeping with another of their catches."
Bow walked up to the two of them and laid an arm along Ace's shoulders. "Ace here is asexual. Not against sex, but has never found it really attractive."
"Especially considering how often you actually do it with other people while I'm still here." She commented, albeit with a smile. "Anyways, you two kids have fun, I'm headed to bed."
Sun gave a tiny wave and a goodnight before Ace disappeared back into the hall, the sound of a door closing following shortly after.
"Sorry, I forgot that she was still here." Bow explained. "Also sorry about how blunt she was, that's just kind of her thing."
Sun blushed under his orange fur and nodded. "Th-that's ok. That's, um, what we planned on doing, right?"
Bow smirked and gave the wolf a kiss on the lips, pulling him close and causing him to squeak in surprise. When they broke apart, the bobcat still had their smirk. "Of course, now come on, these clothes aren't going to be removed themselves."
The wolf's blush deepened as he was led down the hall and into another room. This one resembled more like a bedroom, with a bed near the back wall, a nightstand to its side, a wardrobe along another wall, and a desk across from that with a bookshelf next to it, as well as some posters of various movies that hung on the wall. Sun was paying so much attention to the room that he didn't even notice Bow had already begun to strip. Their work shirt was tossed in the direction of a laundry basket in the corner, missing entirely, leaving them just in their bra and pants.
The bobcat turned to the wolf, noticing his hesitation. They curled their finger towards him, gesturing to him to come closer. "Don't worry, I won't bite, unless you're into that. Come on, this is supposed to be fun and relaxing for both of us."
Sun sighed and nodded. "Right, sorry, I've just never done this before. Um, what should I do?"
The bobcat patted on the bed. "Come here, lay down, I'll help you out, ok?"
Sun did as he was told, walking over and sitting on the bed, laying back. Bow meanwhile straddled on top of him, pushing him down gently until he was flat on his back. "Let me know if I do anything you don't like, ok? Even if it seems I'm really into it, your comfort is just as important."
As the wolf gave confirmation, Bow went to work. They began to kiss the wolf's neck, trying to help him relax as their hands went under his shirt. There, they began to gently scritch around his chest fur, feeling its warmth radiating. Sun gave a gentle gasp, following by a content sigh as the affection began to do its work.
Shortly after, Bow began tugging at the hem of the wolf's shirt, eventually lifting it off and over his head. With his upper body revealed, Bow could finally get a better look as where their hands were going. He was slim, definitely slightly muscular, but not as buff as their roommate. Most of his torso was white, with a large patch of dark brown chest fur, and two dark nipples poking out.
Immediately, Bow brought their mouth down along Sun's chest, giving it a trail of little kisses. Sun whimpered out in pleasure, grasping the sheets below. This was the closest he had ever gotten with anyone before, and he felt a little overwhelmed. He let out a sudden gasp as one of Bow's hands managed to sneak their way over his crotch, investigating the ever growing bulge. The bobcat looked up.
"Did that feel good?" They asked playfully, as if Sun was able to speak right now. The paw skillfully unbuttoned the wolf's jeans and dove in, locating a furry sheath almost immediately. They gently squeezed it and looked for the wolf's reaction. Sun responded by blushing even more and letting out a low moan, his poking canine length giving a twitch and already leaking. Bow didn't let up on their squeezing and rubbing as they went back to the chest below them, beginning to lick and groom it.
It didn't take long for Sun's cock to grow to its full size, peeking out from his unzipped pants and underwear. When it did, Bow stopped toying with his chest, sliding off of him briefly so they could pull the jeans the rest of the way down. With that, the wolf was entirely nude, his decent-sized package in full view. Bow themselves couldn't help but wriggle in anticipation as they saw it. They stood up, reaching behind them to unclasp their bra, and tossing it in the same aimless direction as their shirt.
Sun gawked as he saw the bobcat's boobs flop out. This was the first time he really noticed how curvy they really were, especially with quite a hefty tit size. Bow gave a sultry smile, curling a finger toward the wolf and gesturing him to come close. "Come on, I want you to strip the rest off for me."
Sun gulped and nodded, getting up from his position on the bed and stepping out of his lower garments, kicking them to the side. He then kneeled in front of the bobcat, looking straight at their own crotch and blushing. He briefly looked back up for confirmation, which Bow gave with a nod. Nervously, he began to unbutton the denim material, bringing the zipper down and revealing the panties underneath. Like their bra, they were a plain black, nothing fancy, but there was a noticeable scent that came from them, one that caused the mane of Sun to bristle, his tail to wag subconsciously, and his cock to throb hungrily.
After recovering from his momentary daze, the wolf slowly put his thumbs in the waistline of the underwear, gently pulling them down and revealing the cat's soaking pussy. Bow smiled, giving encouraging pets to Sun's ears as he stared dumbfounded once again. Without the underwear, the cat's musk was much stronger, causing the wolf's brain to short circuit a bit. It took Bow's redirecting paw in order to snap him back to attention, forcing him to look up.
"That's very good, Sun." They praised. "What's it like seeing someone with my equipment naked for the first time?"
The blush never left Sun as he tried to find the words. "Um... you, uh, you're very pretty. And, er, you smell... nice?"
Bow chuckled, giving the wolf some gentle pats on the head. "Would you like to be more intimate with that smell?"
That definitely caught the wolf off-guard, his dick jumping in excitement at the idea. His first instinct was to say no, as he didn't want to seem greedy, but he pushed those thoughts down as he didn't know when he would get this chance again. Instead, he nodded, lust laced in his nervous, excited eyes. Bow stepped out of their remaining clothes and made their way onto the bed, tail flicking back and forth as they sat down, spreading their legs invitingly.
Following his instincts, Sun crawled towards the cat's entrance, his mouth slightly watering at the scent. Noticing a slight hesitation, Bow instructed the wolf a bit. "Do what feels right. Make sure you touch the clit too, it's the most sensitive part."
Sun took in a deep breath before he just dove in, surprising Bow who gasped, before letting out a content sigh. The wolf began to lap at their folds, burrowing his muzzle as deep as he could in their soaked caverns. He mostly had his eyes closed, focusing on his tongue, but said tongue was picking up an incredible flavor. Bow tasted very sweet, but also very salty, a bit different than what the wolf had expected.
Bow meanwhile shivered in pleasure. Sun's fervor was well received, allowing pleasing sparks to expand all around the cat's body. They couldn't help but moan lewdly as they felt his tongue graze their clit, and the lewd sounds coming from his snout were only helping to turn them on more and more. Despite being inexperienced, it was almost like Sun knew exactly what he was doing.
The feline subconsciously began to push the wolf deeper into them, pressuring the back of his head as they also gave encouraging pets. Sun meanwhile could only focus on the scent and taste, both of which were causing his cock to leak onto his thighs. At this rate, he might just cum without being touched. Mercifully, Bow finally regained control and pushed the canine back, allowing him to take a fresh breath, although he whined a little.
"S-sorry, I hope I didn't do anything bad."
Bow shook their head. "No, no, that was great, but that was just the warm up. I think you know what's coming next, hm?"
The wolf whimpered in anticipation, standing up and getting on the bed. Before he could get on top of Bow though, they guided him to lie down, grabbed something out of their night stand, then straddled back onto his lap. They leaned down and gave him a kiss, sharing their juices with him and giving a soft moan.
"I think it's best I'm on top, so I can have more control." The bobcat explained, which Sun agreed. With that, they aligned their pussy with the canine's cock, his knot threatening to pop out. They opened the wrapper they had grabbed and pulled the condom onto his dick, before finally sliding the wolf into them, letting out a low moan as they felt filled. Sun meanwhile had his eyes popping, surprise, nervousness, and excitement all flooding through him as he finally lost his virginity. The bobcat's insides were tight, warm, and very wet, Sun couldn't help but moan as well.
"Mmm, you feel really nice, Sun." Bow commented, gently moving their hips as they adjusted to his size. The canine meanwhile was still trying to grasp the situation, his hands twitching idly on the bed sheets. Bow chuckled and grabbed his paws, guiding them onto their chest. "Here, how about you have fun with these two, while I have fun with you."
Trying to shake away the stunned feeling, Sun did as the cat suggested and began to massage their tits. They were very squishy, nice and bouncy, especially as Bow began to move, gyrating and bouncing slowly at first, then gradually increasing in pace. The friction caused both of them to begin making small noises in pleasure. Moans, whines, even the hints of barks from Sun filled the room.
The feeling was nearly indescribable to the wolf. Masturbation was one thing, but feeling the warmth of another person rubbing along his sensitive bits felt entirely different, and oh so much more pleasurable. He began panting, his tail felt like it was wagging, and a familiar yet so much more powerful pressure was beginning to build up inside of him. Going nearly on instinct now, Sun grabbed Bow's hips as he began to thrust to meet their own movements, grinding deep into them.
Unsurprisingly, Sun didn't last too much longer after that. With his knot fully engorged, the wolf let out a loud howl as he thrusted deep into the cat, popping the knot into them as he began to cum into the condom. Bow responded with their own orgasmic yowl, the familiar feeling of being tied painful but making them cum as well, their juices splattering on the wolf's pubic fur.
Once Sun was done thrusting, he felt almost all the energy in his body disappear. Panting hard and fighting off the urge to fall asleep, he looked over at the bobcat on top of him. Bow looked back with half-lidded eyes and smiled, rubbing his belly. "That's a good wolfy. You did really well for your first time."
Sun blushed and let out a breathy chuckle. "Th-thanks... you were really great yourself. I... I didn't think I'd actually get to do this tonight."
Bow nodded and smiled. "Of course, you deserved it. That idiot who stood you up doesn't know what she's missing."
Sun shrugged and yawned. "Mm, I guess. Um, thank you Bow, for everything tonight. You are a really kind person."
The best they could, Bow laid on top of the canine, giving him a small kiss on the cheek. "Of course, anytime. And thank you for enjoying tonight with me. Seeing as I'm stuck with you for at least another ten minutes, you can stay here for the night."
Sun let out a groan. "Oh jeez, I really did knot you, didn't I? God, I'm so sorry, I was in the moment and-"
A finger was put onto the wolf's lips to stop him from ranting. "It's ok, you're not my first knot. Why don't we get some rest? We can talk more about this tomorrow."
Before they even finished talking though, Sun could already be heard snoring. Bow snickered to themselves, staying conscious just long enough for the wolf's knot to deflate, allowing them to shuffle in a more comfortable position, as well as throw away the used condom.
As they finally began to fall asleep, they thought back to the entire night. Clearly, Sun wasn't the same as the other people they had slept with. There was a special spark Bow felt for the wolf, and if it was what they thought it was, they couldn't help but feel excited. However, whether or not it was meant to be was about to be tested come morning.
