Phoana made sure the kids couldn't watch this, putting a sleeping spell on them before the fight started. Nimane and Pearly were crying their eyes out, never seeing their "parents" fighting like this. They both rested in Phoana arms, planning on wiping their memory of this after it was over, as it wasn't something kids should have as their earliest memories. Pain and sadness were horrible feelings, even worse when the heart feeling it is pure and young.
Michael stood firm feeling the power between the dragonesses as the fighting finally started, his grip on his sword tightening with each blow the two exchanged. The king and queen moved towards the opening caused by their daughter to catch the fight, both hoping that she would come out on top, "Unbelievable...they've both reached a level above us now...we probably shouldn't have stopped half way huh dear?", said Sambodo, looking at his mate who was staring at the two fighting in awe. They had trained long ago but now they see that their child's strength is far above their own.
Michael sat down on the floor and closed his eyes, letting his senses focus on the battle rather than his sight. He could feel their body heat which let him get a read on their position, but also would let him know if they are injured in anyway, "They're really going at it...all because of me...because I couldn't choose between them...just like what Phoana said to me last night...", he thought to himself, thinking back to their conversation last night.
- Last night....
Phoana quietly locked the door behind her, and tip toed towards the human who was curious as to why she had visited him. Her hips swayed left and right, wondering if she could get his attention considering her teasing see through nightgown has turned heads before, "Mmm...I didn't come at a bad time right? Hopefully you have a second to talk to this old dragoness.", she said while hissing softly, Michael nodding though a little nervous considering it was Rizan's mother who had come to see him. He had thought that she may have a problem with him being around her daughter, or maybe she didn't mind. Either way he scooted over to the side to allow her to sit, for which she sat down right beside him.
His smaller body bounced a little as she sat, feeling her tail move around him and force him to lean against her side. This only made things more awkward, unsure on what to do as she looked down at him with a smile, "Errm...not a problem. I was just thinking about tomorrow...couldn't sleep at all.", he replied, getting a soft chuckle out of her as she moved on to lay down on his bed. As it was made for dragons of her size, there was more than enough room for her to lay on it, her tail still somewhat on his back and rubbing him with the tip.
"I don't blame you. It is for the fate of your privileges to remain here...and you enjoy being with Rizan don't you?", she asked in a rather curious tone, one of hands moving to her stomach and rubbing a finger around her belly button. Michael turned his head slightly and nodded, getting another smile out of her while she poked his back twice, "What about Shyranrya? You seem to be good friends with her too as well, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?", she asked in a more curious tone. Once again Michael nodded, wondering how to put it into words without coming off as weird.
One hand moved a bit lower, going to her thigh nice and slow, feeling her body tingle at her light touch of her claws on her scales while looking at the human who was focused at looking at the ground, "They're both my good friends, who I met long ago. They got me out of a jam a few times and they were nice enough to care for me after a few battles. I don't think I could do anything to repay them for the kind things they did for me.", he responded, turning around and looking at her with a smile. That innocent tone nearly made her blush, sounding so heart warming with how modest he was.
Even though he gave off a weak but kind mindset, she could feel a great amount of power inside of him. It was a hot warm power, the kind that would feel like a blanket protecting you during a cold night. He was a true dragoon, albet far different from the stories she'd heard and read of his ancestor, "Mmmm...thats sweet of you to say. You're a nice human...erm..guy. You ever consider becoming mates with one of them?", she asked, making him tilt his head at the question. Her hand moved between her legs, though only idly scritching at her inner thighs.
He wasn't sure what she meant, taking a moment to think about the word, "Mates? What do you mean?", he asked, making her raise an eye-ridge from his question. She was a little surprised that he didn't know what the dragon word for partner was, which she probably should've seen coming. Now she was considering the possibility that he wasn't aware of how dragon love worked exactly, and the rules behind it which would have been bad news. There was a few things she now had to confirm with him, making the check on what he knew, "You know...really good friends with them. Sharing the same room, that sort of thing. It is important..especially at this time of the year.", she explained, a finger moving a little higher and making her legs twitch a little.
Michael didn't seem to notice, now getting even more confused, "But we are good friends already. Least I think we are...though what's important during this time of the year? They didn't mention anything important besides this year's special event Sambodo mentioned when I first met him.", he responded, hearing a light moist sound coming from her. His eyes didn't glance around, knowing it was rude if he wasn't focused on that person's face while they spoke. She seemed to have her tongue out and groaning ever so lightly, which made him wonder what exactly she was doing.
Her legs shifted a little, lifting one up and stretching her toes just a bit, "Mmm...they didn't tell you huh...this is the time of...heat. Dragons are still a little animalistic...even with the amount of human blood in the gene pool. The need to breed...skyrockets..and it gets dangerous to be around dragons at this time...even in the air you can tell...if you were a dragon anyway. Males have a different time of the year. But...it gets dangerous when two dragonesses are around the same male, especially...if hes the one they want. Tell me...who do you want more?", she asked, making Michael feel a little uncomfortable with what she was saying.
It also got him a little worried, the fact that she went out of her way to tell him this, as if it was a warning. He looked down for a second, then back up at her face which had a delightfully happy expression as she looked at him, that moist sound getting a louder and faster, "Dangerous...but I don't think its a problem. I was with them the whole month and I didn't notice anything between them that would be considered hazardous. And I don't want either of them more, they're both important to me. I could never choose.", he responded, trying to be careful how he worded things but also making sure she knew that he wasn't picking favorites, as he had no favorite.
She sighed as the answer he gave was what she had hoped wouldn't be the one, her back arching a bit as she let her fingers enter her. It surprised the dragoon as she shook the bed a little, now sure with what she was doing, though why was what he couldn't answer, "I...Mmmm...warning you...you can't...expect dragonesses to share...when they're desperate for release. It's not..possible. You may get hurt...with that human way of thinking...", she said with a light moan, her fingers coming to a stop as she pulled them out with a visibly wet slurp coming from the exit.
With her job done, she sat up and gave him a kiss on the forehead, hoping that she would have him thinking otherwise before it was too late. As she got out, she wiggled her hips a little while looking back, glad to have let off some steam with such a delicious looking male. However unlike more inexperienced dragonesses, she knew how to control her ugres, even while teasing him which he seemed to have been able to hold himself back as well, "Have a good night Eurasia. Thank you for letting me have this little chat...sleep soon. You'll need your rest for tomorrow.", she said, Michael waving back with a smile until she exited the room, his mind now on what she had told him, as well as the other problems of N.D.
-
His memory was broken by a strong shock wave, reminding him that the reality of what she warned him was taking place. However he didn't want to just sit back, standing back up and grabbing his sword. Immediately he got the guard's spears pressed against his neck, making sure that he won't leave that spot at all, "Stand down Dragoon. We won't warn you again.", said one of them, snorting out a little bit of smoke through the metal knight mask. Michael merely tossed his sword to the side and held his hands up, "I just want to move towards where the king is so I can at least watch. Is that so much to ask?", he replied, feeling the metal tips now digging into his flesh. It seemed that they won't even allow him to see what was happening with his own eyes, wondering now if using force would be the right thing.
Though Sambodo cleared his throat and gave a signal that it was alright, "Let the dragoon come here. He threw his sword to the side...must mean that he has no plans on trying to get past us. However...you have authorization to cut him down if he tries.", he ordered, the knights bowing their heads and removing their weapons from the human. Michael rubbed his neck and felt that they pricked him but not enough to cause bleeding. There was discomfort but nothing for him to worry about as he carefully walked towards the opening caused by Rizan's earlier hit on Shyranrya.
He stood between the king and queen, watching the two dragonesses fighting close range. The power between them was something to fear, blackening sky making it look even more ominous. Michael remained quiet and focused on the battle, only hoping that one of them will see that their fight isn't worth it, "So who did you like better Eurasia? Honestly?", asked Sambodo, looking down to see the human not looking at him at all, having quite the fearsome gaze while he watched. The king shook his head and then turned back to the battle, being reminded that it didn't matter who he liked better, whoever won this would have him.
In the sky, the two were exchanging blows, Rizan having her hand pointed forward to get a hit in the stomach region. Shyranrya's longer reach made that very difficult, slapping away her hands each time while at the same time punching at the slippery dragoness who was a little target for her. Their blows collided once more, Rizan's claws and Shyranrya's fists causing a thunderous boom, neither side yielding to the other, before they flew back. Rizan's skirt was starting to rip, as was Shyranrya's, but they didn't care, "....so you've had sex with Eura too huh? I've wondered that..ever since I saw how close you were getting. He's so innocent and naive while you're such a horny girl. Did you take advantage of him after he saved you?", she asked, seeing her growl in anger at such an accusation.
She couldn't deny that she was a bit enamored by him after they first met, not having anyone around her cave for ages before that night. The smell of his virgin body also egged her body to try, but regardless, that wasn't something she would admit to her. She charged once more, this time flipping and bringing her foot down. At first Shyranrya had her arms out to block, but she backed away at the last moment seeing that she wasn't doing a heel kick. Her sharp claws on her feet were what she was going to use, feeling her arms barely being cut.
"You have some nerve talking like that about me! What about you? You said that you had him as your servant....I bet you forced him to have sex the first night. You always had a thing for making those smaller than you do your bidding!", she responded, Shyranrya feeling a bit of sweat go down the side of her head. It was the truth, thinking for a moment that perhaps she was wrong as well. Either way, one thing was certain, Michael didn't mind it at all. She was making him quite happy that day when Rizan went off to meet with her father, which meant that he loved it.
Once more the two clashed, claw meeting claw, striking each other in an attempt to disable the other. Rizan was starting to get serious, seeing that her opponent was starting to use her claws. Shyranrya would only use her claws when she had enough, normally only relying on punching and palm strikes for non fatal blows. As Rizan's claw sped towards Shyranrya's chest, she was grabbed by her, suddenly being pulled forward. It was a huge risk stopping such a deadly attack, but worth it once Shyranrya flew back with her and came forward to knee her in the stomach, "I'm sick of your mouth....Eurasia doesn't need someone immature like you.", she muttered, seeing her former friend gasping before throwing in one more.
Michael felt the power that knee had in it, his hands twitching as he couldn't stand seeing that, "Oh no.....", he thought, having to put alot of willpower to keep himself still. One of the guards glanced at him, noticing that he moved but not quite enough to consider taking action. For the moment, they were looking at his sword, seeing that it broke the floor when he threw it to the side. They couldn't imagine how much it could weigh, as their weapons were heavy, but not that much to break the stronger than stone floor.
Rizan coughed as she was left dangling in Shyranrya's grasp, getting the wind knocked out of her from that, "P-please...Eura doesn't need someone...self centered like you!", she shouted swinging back before Shyranrya could get one more knee in. Her other hand helped in deflecting it, then swinging forward to kick away Shyranrya on the snout and get free out of her grasp. The tip of the snout, a dragon's nose is a very sensitive area so even someone as trained as Shyranrya winced from the hit, "O-ow...that was a cheap shot...", she muttered, rubbing her snout and preparing for the next attack.
Quickly Shyranrya dodged to the side, seeing that Rizan has started resorting to long distance attacking. With the extreme power gained from the training, Rizan was able to produce a sharp wave of wind that could cut flesh. Though Shyranrya merely flew back and blocked it with her arms, "Is that the best you got? Using that kind of move at that distance, won't work!", she shouted, flying right at Rizan. As dangerous as it was, the sharp wave would weaken the farther it flew, as only masters of wind held the secret of true wind cutting.
Knowing this, the black dragoness flew right in, barely dodging the sharp cutting wind which Rizan was spamming at her. As Shyranrya got close enough, she let loose her own wind cut, negating one of Rizan's and went in to kick at her waist. However Rizan had wanted Shyranrya to get close, knowing that she would if wind cutting was all that she did. The kick connected, Rizan looking surprised for a second, before smirking, "Thanks for the leg!", she said with a growl, planning on chopping it off before she saw Shyranrya's other foot coming at directly at her head.
A kick like that could probably be fatal, having no choice but to block at the last second with her other arm. With that, she locked both legs, but knew that Shyranrya would quickly resort to using her hands since her own were busy. Rizan grunted as she started to spin, Shyranrya about to land a devastating punch before the spinning quickly increased in speed. Her dress began to fly up, her vision quickly blocked by her own purple skirt as she was finally let go, her body spinning about before she crashed right into the side of the mountain.
The rock behind her was rather sharp, though it wasn't enough to pierce her body while she quickly pulled down her dress. Rizan flew right at her and kicked her with both feet right into rock, feeling as if she was actually breaking a rib or two. Shyranrya was stunned at the moment, her neck suddenly being grasped and seeing the red dragoness' face glaring at her wtih a balled up fist, "I told you before...hes mine!", she shouted, punching her right between the eyes, then on the cheek. Blood was being spilled from the furious volley of punches, a tooth flying out while Shyranrya winced in pain.
As Rizan cocked her fist for a extra strong one, Shyranrya quickly grabbed her wrist, panting a little with a fair amount of blood dripping from her face and snout, "...with your power...its very doubtful...", she sputtered, a little shaken but still determined to win. Rizan growled and punched her with her other hand, the force of it making the rock around them fly off and expose more of Shyranrya's body that was dug in. Even that hand was grabbed, followed up by Shyranrya using her tail to immobilize such a dangerous girl.
From what she assumed, her jaw was nearly broken, having enough of being so defensive the whole fight. Although law stated that it was a fight to the death, if one or the other gave up and would relinquish their desire to be with that dragon, that would be accepted as well. Shyranrya flew forward a little, using a lot of her power to restrain Rizan who was struggling with all of her might. She stared at her while moving to grip her wrists with one hand, holding her body out horizontally, "I'll give you one chance Rizan. Give up---gnaaah!", she screamed, Rizan biting her arm. Those sharp teeth dug into her scales, making her wince with extreme pain as she tore off a piece of her arm.
The red dragoness spat out that meat, blood covering her muzzle as she snarled at her, "FUCK YOU! I'LL NEVER GIVE UP!", she yelled, whipping her tail at her opponent's stomach. It was such a hard blow that it sounded like a literal whip, ripping through her dress and causing a long slice along her stomach. It nearly got her free as it felt like her grip was loosening, but that didn't matter as Shyranrya finally took action. She brought down Rizan's body down on her knee, giving Rizan a first hand taste of her back-breaker.
Michael felt the blow from up top, gasping in horror at the force Shyranrya used, "N-no!....", he uttered in his mind, seeing that the back-breaker was followed up by an elbow coming down on her ribs. With Rizan's back already arched and nearly broken, the elbow to the ribs made a very audible sound of bones breaking. There was no scream, merely silence as Shyranrya dangled what seemed to be her passed out friend. It was a problem now how to continue, seeing that she couldn't force a surrender from her. She wondered if she could convince the king and queen that she was unfit to continue, knowing that with a half broken back and several broken ribs, there was no way she could win.
Her wings started to fly them both up, still keeping Rizan restrained just in case before flying mid air in front of the three spectators. Before she could say something, Sambodo pointed to Rizan, which made Shyranrya glance over, "Letting your guard down in a mateship battle is bad Shyranrya.", he said, seeing that Rizan had opened her eyes. However the glare she had before had intensified, as if it was no longer her looking at Shyranrya. Rizan opened her mouth and shot out a massive blast of fire, which normally wouldn't be a problem for a dragoness with her kind of power.
In all the time Shyranrya trained with Rizan, she'd never seen her blow out fire of this magnitude. It didn't burn her but it startled her, her grip loosening for one fetal second. That's all that it took for Rizan to break free, and slice off a wing. Everything seemed to move in slow motion, Michael's will to stay put nearly gone once he saw the blood squirt out from the wing stub that was left. Rizan punched Shyranrya in the neck, the pain in her body making it difficult to move too well, but at least she would focus the fight on the ground.
The strong punch sent Shyranrya flying straight down, all the way down to the town far below. Michael had to do something at least, once Rizan started flying down, he jumped forward and caught Shyranrya's wing. It was massive, slightly bigger than him, knowing it was important to preserve it and unsure but not taking the chance as to what would happen to Shyranrya if she didn't have this to attach back. As he started to fall, he turned back and saw a dragon guard coming right at him with a spear, catching the sharp blade by the shaft and stopping him mid flight, "H-hey! I'm not interfering! I'm just taking this...that can't be against the rules!", he exclaimed, the guard looking back and seeing that Sambodo nodded.
It surprised the king that he was able to stop him so easily, the guard barely pushing him back in midair. Though they were told to not use full force until needed so that may have been part of it he thought. Phoana poked her mate and looked down at the kids, "Hun, I'ma put them to bed. Watch over them okay? And...don't hurt the dragoon. Not too badly anyway...he is the mate to be. Would make the girl's fight pointless if you injure him beyond belief.", she commented, Sambodo giving a nod and letting his wings loose.
Michael held on to the guard's spear, knowing that he'd fall if he wasn't as he had no wings. There was a loud explosion coming from below, fog that started to accumulate making the thousand foot drop hard to see. Sambodo knew that his kingdom's residents lived below and quickly flew down, hoping to at least evacuate the area. The majority of the dragons were in the castle, but there were a few who were still down below for reasons that prevented them from coming up, such as sickness.
The dragon guard glared at the human, before grabbing him and holding on to him with on hand to carry him along, "You will remain still until they finish. I will not tolerate any more defying the will of our king. Understand...human?", he asked with a growl, not accepting him even though he was a dragoon. Michael didn't answer, not caring about such a threat. They flew down together, past the fog before seeing the town below. There was a massive crater, as if from a meteor which destroyed what seemed to be several houses. A few were blown back a little, Sambodo already on the ground and watching Rizan walking into the hole that was probably 20 feet deep with a 100 feet diameter.
A loud thud could be heard as Michael was dropped on the floor like loose luggage, coughing from the dust caused by the aftermath of the impact. As he got up, he was again surrounded by many towering dragon guards, this time keeping full security on him. With spears having a thing for him once more, he sat back down and continued watching between the spaces of the dragon guards keeping watch, wishing they'd at least move out of the way so he can keep track of what was happening. He kept her wing tucked in his lap, folding it so it could stay ready for Shyranrya, though the blood lightly got on his jeans.
Shyranrya emerged from the debris, tucking in her wing and the other stub of one which was in quite some pain. The blood was seeping into the back of her dress, the pain of her broken jaw causing some problems too. Both dragonesses were in a heap of trouble, but their will, their indomitable spirits were driving them now, "R-Rizan...last chance....give up now..", she muttered, Rizan holding her chest and abdominal area to keep her ribs from moving too much while breathing. She shook her head and balled up her fist, hoping that she herself would give up.
When it came to lethal force, Rizan wasn't afraid to use it unlike Shyranrya. The dragonesses charged at each other once more, Rizan tucking in her wings and going after the weak-spot she caused in Shyranrya's jaw. Though her ribs were causing her pain from the sprinting, she had to be sure not to let herself get attacked there or it would end the fight. Shyranrya began using her reach to her advantage, going on the offensive first which was making Rizan block the punches. The two began to move their battle, jumping from the crater and smashing the ground with their missed blows.
A strong kick managed to hit Rizan, sending her flying away from the audience which made Sambodo worry a little for what was to come. She quickly untucked her wings to help stop her flying, crashing through an empty wooden home anyway. As she stood in the ruined living room, Shyranrya came from above, smashing through the roof with her claws and coming down with a heel kick. The entire house collasped from the strong hit, the two jumping up from the dust and rubble, "You're not getting away!", yelled Shyranrya, grabbing Rizan by the tail and pulling her back down.
She yelped as she was forced down, bringing down a claw to scratch Shyranrya's chest. It left a visible gash through her dress, causing her to wince in pain but that was exactly what she wanted. To take the hit and to get in a stronger one, grabbing both Rizan's wings and snapping them at the base. Michael felt a cold shiver going down his back seeing that, finding it hard to believe that Shyranrya would do that, "M-my gosh....R-rizan....why won't you two stop...", he wondered, forcing the spears to get closer as he moved slightly, which got the guards on higher alert.
With the bones shattered, it made her yell in great pain, nearly making her cry as again she was held by the larger dragoness, this time by the neck. Tears were flowing down her face, hating herself for falling for such a facade to make her wings vulnerable. She wasn't being choked, just being held, her body feeling a little numb from the over abundance of pain going through her body, "You...bitch...", she muttered, Shyranrya glaring right at her. Thoughts of killing her now began to get stronger, the battle and lust for that human clouding her normal judgment.
For Rizan, losing meant not only death, but the loss of being with the dragoon whom she wanted for herself. That strong desire overtook her mind and made her snarl once she felt Shyranrya tightening her grip, slowly cutting off her oxygen and making it harder to breath. Michael stood right up, having enough of sitting around, "RIZAN! SHY---AGH!...SHYRANRYA..... STOOOOOOOOOOOP!", he shouted, getting getting speared into his arm, then leg. Shyranrya heard his voice, making her turn and loosen her grip for a second. Her mind had been cleared by the desperate voice echoing in her head, her grip loosening as she heard that this isn't want he wanted.
Part of her knew that from the start, but her heat and natural dragon competitive nature muted that reasoning since the fight started. Unfortunately that same feeling of regret did not reach Rizan, who had lost control to her instincts and anger. Rizan grabbed her arms and swung forward, using all of her power in that swing to knee Shyranrya's right elbow. The hit broke her elbow joint, making her roar in pain and drop her while the sound of her bones breaking making Sambodo wince. The black dragoness was brought to her knees right in front of Rizan, holding her now limp arm with her other hand. The pain in it was so immense, every part of her body felt like it was going numb from how horrible it was.
She looked right at the red dragoness, who's eyes seemed to be full of hatred and the need to kill. Shryanrya merely looked down and accepted her fate, only regretting that she didn't listen to what was really the right thing to do and succumbing to her animalistic needs. Rizan cracked her knuckles, the pain in her wings negligible as she cracked her knuckles. Michael winced from the stabs to his body, feeling an intense amount of power building in that fist, "Noo.....RIZAN!", he shouted, getting stabbed in from every direction now by the guards to keep him from moving, before Rizan let her fist fly. The look on her face only had one thing in mind, the death of the one wall preventing her mateship with the dragoon of fire. Sambodo's eyes widened at what happened next, a massive gust of wind blowing against his scales from the power that fist had.
Rizan's fist had hit, her eyes glaring down once the dust settled. Sambodo turned to the side to see the dragon guards down on the ground, a trail of blood leading away from them and right between the two dragonesses, "...that dragoon...actually did it...", he said in his mind, noticing now the power he really had. Michael's desperation blew everyone around him away with a brief explosion of fire, dashing forward to stop the fatal blow. He looked right up at Rizan, who's fist was right in his forehead. Although he could've blocked or intercepted, he chose to take the hit. The pain of it all was nothing compared to the guilt he was feeling, his legs shaking from the powerful hit before hitting Rizan right on the cheek.
It wasn't strong at all, only knocking her down on the ground before he himself fell onto his knees. Rizan fell to her rump from the strike, finding herself shivering suddenly while the anger wore off and was replaced by sadness. Her eyes cleared up and now she was thinking more rationally, Shyranrya wanting to help but her body was in a great amount of pain. Michael was feeling a little dizzy, but he got back on his feet, hoping that her hit didn't fracture his skull, "This is all my fault...you two nearly killed each other over me. How can I call myself a friend to both of you?", he asked, the two dragonesses silent for the moment. The silence was broken by the sound of someone clapping, a slow ominous clap that came from the side.
"Getting past my guards...quite noteworthy. However, you've violated two laws, both of which are our most sacred. Have anything to say for yourself?", he asked, the guards all lining up with more flying down from the castle. What was eight became thirty in mere moments, all stationed and ready to strike. Michael merely raised his hand and summoned his blade in a puff of fire, grabbing it tightly though in a defensive position, "You should be asking yourself that. Letting your only daughter kill her best friend...all over someone who isn't worth it. Not to mention, something like this would have caused a huge problem for the kids and for Shyranrya's family! What if Rizan herself had been killed? What would you tell Nimane and Pearly!?", he shouted, gritting his teeth from how angry he was.
Sambodo huffed and stepped forward, his small army following behind with their spears ready, "The truth. Dragon law is absolute, and going against it is an act of war Eurasia. You aren't above the law, no matter what.", he responded, stopping suddenly seeing the two dragonesses stand back up. Rizan was panting hard and so was Shyranrya, finding it hard to stay on both feet. Unfortunately Shyranrya fell back down, being too wounded to continue on while Rizan stumbled over in front of the dragoon. Michael remained quiet, Sambodo growling seeing that she was now getting in the way, "Sambodo...leave him alone...You'll have to go through...me..to get to him.", she uttered, looking like she was definitely on the last bit of strength she had.
However things took a turn for the unexpected as she felt a blow to the back of her neck. She began to lose consciousness, the last thing which was burned into her mind as she fell back was Michael's regret filled face. Sambodo growled once more, seeing that he not only shunned her, he struck her, leading him to tell his guards to attack, "Striking the princess again?! You have no place here!", he shouted, his guards moving in quickly. Michael moved in front of Rizan to avoid causing more harm, holding his sword with both hands and striking the ground with the tip.
"You're right...for someone who caused these two ladies pain...I don't have the right to stay here. I'm sorry Rizan and Shyranrya", he muttered, a wall of fire bursting through the ground suddenly. It surprised the guards and made them stop, but they realized that it was a basic defensive trick called "Fire Wall" which was used by dragoons of fire for a quick escape. Normally it would just be fire, but as one guard learned after attempting to jump through, it was actually solid. His armor immediately began to melt, screaming in pain as he was thrown back and onto the ground.
Not quite solid like a wall but too hot and thick to break through suddenly, showing that he was not a normal dragoon. He rolled on the ground for a good moment to get the armor off, also attempting to put out the flames, "AHHHH! D-DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME! GET THE TARGET!", he yelled, the other guards turning around and seeing the wall starting to die down. The only thing left behind it was Rizan's unconscious body and Shyranrya focusing on healing her injuries.
-
One night...would change everything. That innocent face, such purity and kindness...disgusted me. But it wasn't that what drew me to her, it was what she held back. What everyone ignored only because of one thing that made her delicious and easy to control. Taking advantage of that...is what kept me alive.

"I'm sorry that we had to move again so suddenly, but they're looking for me even more than before....It isn't safe to be around me anymore", said a voice in the darkness. Light was missing and the sound of a bed squeaking was the only thing heard in the room. Following a click, visibility entered the room, showing a small square room with one door and a bed that had a dresser beside it, where the lamp which was turned on was resting. There was a human sitting on the edge of the bed, his purple hair brushed over his eyes as he looked down at the floor. He could hear his partner moving towards him, a large pink hand onto his shoulder, in which he shook it off.
"Honey...you know..I'll follow you regardless. I'll not let anyone hurt my Ruey!", said a very cute feminine voice, putting her hand on his shoulder once more. It covered his shoulder and part of his arm, trying to hold him tight as he sighed once more. Pain went through his body the more she talked, feeling blood suddenly going down his arm. He ignored it however, even though it was killing him slowly, he couldn't hold back the affection he had for her. But it was that same reason why he had to go, and find the only person who could help him.
He put his hand on her finger, tugging it lightly as he turned around and kissed her on her large hand, "Problem is...you're holding...well you know. I can't afford to have anyone hurting you. Just...hold down the fort please...I have to seek him out....My other half...if I hope to survive...", he explained, hearing a gasp from her as blood began to go down his head. She didn't understand why that would happen whenever he would try to keep her happy, only being told that he has a terminal condition that he had been trying to solve.
Only one man could do it but had yet to encounter him, even though that man was famous all over, it was so difficult to catch him. One recent link to finding him had now made things easier, planning on talking to a certain someone to see if she can help. His partner began to cry lightly, making him a little unhappy that he would have to go, regardless that it was for her own protection, "Lareien...don't worry. You'll see me soon enough. This isn't a permanent thing...and when you see me. You don't have to worry about this stupid condition I have."
The couple shared a kiss, and hugged once more, the human now looking quite small to his much larger than normal partner. She was probably nearly 3 times his size, and of a completely different species as well, which would've made others wonder how such a pair could love each other considering the difference in size. Of course they didn't care, as he chose her specifically and she loved it, "I love you...my..Ruey..", she muttered with tears flowing down her snout, her tail going to turn off the so they could enjoy their last night in seclusion.
