I yawned and all the kids hoped off moving over to theirs moms. Just like every birthday, their mothers started spoiling them with candy and soda. I couldn't complain but the sugar high they got was more than enough. With a small yawn, I moved to my bedroom and put on some cloths. The door opened suddenly and the familiar half breed stepped in. "Hello anyone home!" Ligeron yelled up the steps.
"Uncle Ligeron!" All three boys ran down the steps. They tackled him knocking him to the floor. "What you bring us!" They grabbed the gifts and charged back up the stairs. They ducked to there room with Adam following quickly. I moved down and help him up. "You ok?" I asked and he rubbed the back of his head nodding. "Sorry they get a little excited," I smiled and he laughed. "Yeah excited isn't the word," he smiled. "But moma!" The boys followed Adam as he carried the gifts to their other presents. "Nope not until everyone arrives and we eat cake," He sat the gifts amongst the others. My guest and I walked up stairs seeing the boys staring at the presents.
"If you touch them you can't have them," Matt smirked and they let out small groans. "Wow my arrival wasn't very dramatic," Ligeron smiled getting a drink as the boys continued watching there cartoons. We all started talking and slowly people began to arrive. We all began to talk waiting for the happy grandparents and the pizza to arrive. Unfortunately, the cartoon ended before that happened. After an hour or so, the pizza arrived with five happy grandparents. The boys attacked there loved ones and soon the small party built up. My parents loved coming out here to enjoy the sun and surf. I felt a little left out since my boys and babies where being preoccupied. I sighed and looked at there cake in front of me. It was big with all blue icing and red details. Sprinkles covered it with the words Happy Birthday, Curt, Luke, and Andy written across the front. I reached over and took a tiny bit of icing off the side. Luke crawled up into my lap and I watched as my babies ate. Matt and Adam sat on my opposite side and ate. "I wanna sit next to Andy," Daku stood next to me holding his plate. I leaned in and lit the five candles and the big candle that was in the shape of a five. "Ok boys now you have to wait to blow them out," Matt spoke and they nodded. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Andy, Curt, and Luke, happy birthday to you," We all sang. Once we finished the three quickly blew out the flames and we all clapped. "Happy birthday buddies," I gave each of my boys a kiss.
Glenn grabbed the plates and I grabbed a knife. "What slice you want buddies?" I asked and Curt instantly pointed to a part with a lot of icing. I cut it off and Luke pointed to his name and I cut it out for him. Andy pointed to the icing flower and I gave it to him. They each got a big scoop of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I gave Daku his piece and he quickly ran over to his friends as I gave everyone there own pieces. The boys all happily ate there cake and ice cream until absolutely nothing remained.
They tossed there plates and looked at Adam. "Moma! We ate cake so can we open the presents now?" The excitedly smiled and Adam moved over sitting next to the pile of gifts. We all sat around the happy grandparents taking pictures as they opened up there new toys. One by one the bags and boxes were opened and there new toys were scattered around the room. It was funny because at every time they opened a pair of cloths they would just toss it aside.
Andy grabbed some of his toys handing them to Daku and he smiled. The two began playing together and Edward and Davis took pictures. Curt got nothing but toy cars, which he quickly started making the classic engine sounds. He ran them across the floor and Luke pulled out his new big stuffed animal. He hugged it and Curt sat next to him and they all showed there toys to one another. The night slowly wound down and little walked over to Ligeron hugging him. "Thank you for my new teddy!" he smiled. "Your welcome," He hugged back before Luke ran off.
"Thank your for the cars grandpa!" Curt hugged Glenn's father. "It's alright little mate, now you take care of 'em and have a lot of fun," He smiled. "Gram Gram! Dank you for de dollies!" The thank you continued as Luke hugged his great grandpa making Mr. Simmons eyes light up. Andy moved to Edward and Davis as Curt sweet-talked my parents. As the proud parents my boys and me sat on the couch watching. "Isn't that cute?" Matt leaned against me. "There so sweet," Glenn kissed my cheek.
