Zikabar needed to a vacation, he thought as he headed for the elevators, or at least he had to stop commuting. Flying to Quantico every few weeks to take part in the task force meetings was murder on his sex life. Next time he would bring Marcus, that way he could enjoy whatever delays his stretching meetings and whatever problems with his flight had, instead of being alone for the nine hours it took to get in the air.
His return celebration with his husband he evaporated in the stench of diesel fuel as he sat in the plane. He hadn't even been able to go home, to change out of his stunning prune shirt that was now as wrinkled as he felt, and had driven directly to work.
Now he was trying to be pleasant to the others in the elevator who talked about this case and that, or their problems at home, or-- All he wanted was to be in bed with Marcus.
He was the God damned Agent in Charge, Zikabar should give the two of them a day off so they could have their fun. A few hours at home, then go to a club, or visit Denton at his work, he at least understood how important sex was and had a place there set aside for his employees to indulge.
He stepped out of the elevator, thinking that was what he should do, set up a space within the building for agents to unwind, have a policy of anything short or harassment was permitted.
He chuckled.
As if Director Patterson would ever go along with something like that. No, he had to keep his sex life out of work, like--
Zee screamed as a hand grabbed his shoulder and pulled him. Before he could chastise whoever was treating him this was he was shoved against the wall, antlers knocked against his lightly, and his opening mouth was covered by lips.
Hot lips, belonging to the red deer pressing against him. The surprised passed, the mule deer wrapped his arms around his husband's neck, and returned the kiss.
He parted his lips, and the tongue pushes in, invading his muzzle. Zee squeaked went Marcus squeezed his ass and pressed his erection against his groin.
Chuckling, Zikabar pushed Marcus away. "What are you doing?" he whispered, glancing around to make sure no one had seen them. "We are at work."
Marcus gave him a sheepish smile. "I missed you."
"And I you, love, but it was only two days."
The red deer pouted. "Two very long days, and your weren't home last night." Marcus took Zee's hand and put it on his crotch, his very hard crotch. Zee bit his lower lip at the knowledge of how Marcus' large cock felt moving inside him.
"We will make it up tonight, I promise."
"Why wait?" Marcus nodded down the corridor. "Harland's office still hasn't been reassigned."
"Marcus! That is totally inappropriate," Zee hissed.
"Isn't it what makes it so fun?" the red deer leaned in and nibbled on Zee's neck. "Please? You know how I hate it when you leave me alone."
Zee panted. "And you know that if I could, I would never leave, but I can't simply remove myself from the task force."
Marcus sighed. "I know. Life is so unfair sometimes." He straightened, but remained pressed against Zikabar.
Was his husband grinding against him? Zee wondered and Marcus looked him in the eyes. Yes, he was! He needed to make him stop, they were beyond inappropriate now.
"How did that go? Are they getting any closer to figuring out who was behind all those dead cardinal?"
Slow grinding, shit, Zee through, he could now smell how excited they both were. They were going to need to shower before they went to their respective offices.
"Love?" Marcus asked.
"Are you trying to get me to divulge task force exclusive information? Marcus, place, you have to stop, someone will smell us."
The red deer leaned in. "But you like it so much, love." He licked the inside of Zee's ear. "You've always wanted to fool around at work."
With a laugh, Zee pushed Marcus away. "Yes, but we both know we can't. Hun, I really love how playful you've been recently, but not here. Not at work. We both have more self-control than a certain cheetah we both know. This is work." Zee pointed to both their crotch. "That is sex. Never the two shall meet."
"Then promise you won't leave me alone ever again. I have needs that only you can satisfy."
Zee placed a hand on Marcus's cheek. "I will do my best, you know that."
Marcus leaned into the touch. "You'd think that with all this technology we have they would be able to teleconference those meetings. That way I could be with you when they happen."
"Even then, you wouldn't be allowed in."
"You could hide me under the table." Marcus walked his fingers down Zee's stomach and over his groin. "I could help make the meeting pass quicker."
Zee giggled and swatted the hand away. "Marcus, you are incorrigible. But if it will calm your insatiable need to know, I can tell you that no, they are no closer to finding out how is behind all of it now than they were a year ago." He pushed his husband down the corridor. They would have to take the stairs to go down to the floor with the gym. "Of course, I could just tell them Damian Orr is the one they are after."
"Hun," Marcus said in a warning tone
"I know. Then I'd have to explain how I know, which would lead to talk of things I promised Denton I would not talk with anyone else. I truly believed that knowing what was going on with our friend would make all this easier, not harder."
"Hard isn't always a bad thing, hun." Marcus bumped hips with Zee.
The mule deer chuckled. "No, it isn't, but this is one complication I could do without." He opened the door and motioned for Marcus to enter the stairwell.
"You go first, I want to watch that nice tail of yours."
Zee blushed and when down the two floors feeling his husband eyes on his ass. "Has anyone been questioning why the Basement team is more active?" Maybe he could bring Marcus' mind out of the gutter where it seemed to be residing more and more.
"Nothing that's been brought up to my attention. I have noticed the increase in request for information coming from them, but I don't think anyone else even realizes it's them. The Brain Room is always fielding one type of request or another. I haven't noticed anything that would qualify as weird, and I know to look for that."
"Good. I warned them to be extremely careful with the latitude I gave them." After how they'd worked out magic was involved in the murder of the cardinals, without even believing it was real or having anything resembling reasonable resources, and that one person was behind it all, and that person had started in San Francisco, Zikabar had decided they needed their own operating budget, better equipment, and a clear mandate. He was done treating them like some second class group he had to find a use for.
He'd set them the task of cataloging 'magical' rituals. Denton had been careful not to outright say who they were, but Zee knew the Society were not the only people who could wield magic. Magdalene followed the Green Man, whose magic was linked to nature. He hadn't been able to get her to give him details. Damian followed someone called Sahataan, and their magic was clearly derived from blood, No one among Denton's Society friends knew if the overlap with their magic meant anything. The god of the Society was one of male vitality and lust, so blood was a part of that.
After a year, the Basement team had eight other divisions. Of course, it didn't mean any of them were real magical groups. But Zee believed, now more than ever, that having more information was better than not having enough.
The gym was occupied, of course. There were always people training here, but the scent of sweat would cover up their own at least long enough to wash it out of their fur, and like everyone here, Zee and Marcus had a change of clothing in their locker.
Zee undressed and was in one of the stall before Marcus could do more than look at him. The water was on, shampoo in his hand when the door to his stall opened. He turned and glared at his husband.
"Marcus," he whispered, "what do you think you are doing?"
"No one saw me enter your stall," the red deer whispered back.
"That is not the point and you know it. You think people will not notice two set of feet?"
Marcus grinned and stepped to him. "That is easily fixed." He placed both hands on Zee's ass and hiked him up. Reflexively Zee wrapped his legs around his husband's waist.
"Marcus, this isn't funny."
"You're right, this is sexy."
Zee sighed. "What has gotten into you?"
Marcus grew slightly more serious. "Love, I'm not going to be able to just wash how badly I need you, the moment I'm out of the shower, I'm going to be stinking of it again."
"Marcus, we--"
"Come in, Zee, you think this hasn't happened in here before? With the number of people in this building, you think no one had taken advantage of the cover the sound of water gives them? How it dampens the scents?"
"But we are senior agents, Marcus, we must set the example."
"We're a married couple. Half the building already things we have sex here and there. Did you know there's a betting pool on where we have and haven't done it?"
"Yes, I do know, and that is exactly why we shouldn't--"
Marcus lifted Zee higher before lowering him, and the red deer's hard cock rubbed along Zee's cock, his balls to come to rest between his as cheeks. "Order me to stop, Zee." Marcus grinned. "If you really don't want us to do this, just order me as my superior to leave this stall."
"Marcus," Zee breathed, but he couldn't find it in himself to finish. He'd missed his husband too. And while he knew how wrong it was to have sex at work, Marcus was right, if everyone else did it, why shouldn't they too.
Marcus leaned in, his cock sliding up until it touched Zee's hole and he shivered. "Zee, let this be a case of Marcus getting what Marcus fucking wants."
Zee chuckled at how his phrase was appropriated. He tightened his legs around his husband's hips. They were already here, so he might as well find out if it was as fun as his fantasies let him to believe it would be. But he couldn't let his husband thing he won this cleanly.
"If I find out you are part of that betting pool, hun, you better not have any money on us doing it in the shower." He bit his lips to keep from crying out as Marcus slowly pushed in.
"Love," the red deer breathed in his ear. "I have my money on us doing it in your office."
"Marcus!" Zee explained and then clamped his muzzle show as his husband proceeded to fuck him hard.
