It was pitch dark, but Kyurex kept on running along the lake.

He had woken up a bit early today, and noticed that he felt cold, and weak. It was weird, and he didn't understand it at all, but he didn't make it a concern of his. He was probably just plain tired and didn't even notice.

May easily kept up with him. Yes, his girlfriend had also joined him. Awakening right after the Umbreon they both decided that training their endurance would be profitable for the tournament. Blaze? Well, both agreed that trying to wake him up would probably result in failure, so they didn't even bother.

"You okay?" The Umbreon asked, keeping up his speed. The Mightyena smirked.

"I'm fine." she responded. They both kept on running, enjoying the breeze that greeted them.

"Okay! Lets take a break!" Kyurex slowed down, eventually coming to a halt. Naturally, he tried to calm his accelerated breathing. May stopped next to him, doing the same thing.

The Umbreon lay down on the grass, having calmed down and began to rest. May didn't waste time and jumped down a couple of stones, making her way to the shore. Kyurexs ears rose.

What's she up to?

He then watched how his girlfriend peacefully looked into the water, smiling.

Guess I should join her...

He stood up, taking the same path. It was unusually quiet.

"Look, you see that blue light?" The Mightyena asked.

The Umbreon took a look. Indeed, some mysterious blue color tainted the water. He had no ideas what it was.

"Yeah..."

"It's pretty, don't you think?"

Kyurex was a bit confused. He watched his girlfriend smile while she admired the sight. Maybe something is on her mind?

"May. Is something bothering you?"

The Mightyena turned her head, looking surprised.

"Me? Do I look like it?"

Kyurex sighed.

"Well...no ideas? Maybe? I'm just asking."

The female looked back into the water.

"Maybe it was a mistake going with you. I mean, you and Blaze, you're both so confident, and strong at the same time. You know...you've got that competitive nature. Both of you want to achieve something with this tournament. Well, it's not the same thing for me."

Kyurex knew this would come up at some point. And he knew the real issue far too well. He moved closer to May.

"Look, I know what you're thinking. Let me guess, Mightyenas are thought of as weak Pokemon? Never has it been heard of through the centuries that a Mightyena passed to the Gold Tournament? I know what you're thinking May."

May looked at Kyurex. He was right.

"But-"

"No "buts" babe, I know you're strong, you're way stronger then you even know. The only real problem is, is that you don't use this strength that you've been gifted with. Mightyenas are weak? Maybe, maybe its just the plain truth. But it doesn't make you weak as an individual. A Mightyena has never made it to the Gold Tournament? Then be the first one to do so. Don't give up because of stupid beliefs." The Umbreon smiled.

May couldn't describe what she felt at the moment. She looked into the Umbreons eyes.

"Kyu..."

The distance between them faded away.

Kyurex loved it. There was nothing better than kissing this girl. His tongue enjoyed the play.

"Unn..Kyu..."

May broke the kiss. Kyurex was confused. Was there some kind of issue? He looked into his girlfriends eyes, noticing the playful glare she gave him.

"You were aiming for that, right? How long did you practice those phrases?"

"What?!!" The Umbreon couldn't believe his ears. The Mightyena laughed.

She took her distance, slowly, and elegantly stretching her body forwards.

"You want some of this? Well you'll have to earn it first." she smirked. "And don't think those weak lines will do the job mister."

The Umbreon didn't know what to say, to be honest he didn't really understand the Mightyena at all. But he knew that she was challenging him. He watched May walk further and further away.

He smiled.

"Weak lines? The same ones that made you my girlfriend?" Kyurex jogged behind May, eventually catching up, walking side to side. May laughed.

"I just had to pity you...who else would fall for them?"

Kyurex had to give it to May that he lost that round. He still smiled, aiming to jump at her.

"Okay...we'll just see about THA- woah!!"

Kyurex missed by some inches, surprised at how fast May evaded his attack. Naturally, he landed with his face into the ground, feeling the grass tickle his face. May watched while standing next to him, not being able to keep herself from laughing.

"Pff...Hahaha!! Kyu...did you get what you want? Hahaha!!!" May tried to calm down.

Okay...I'm so getting her back for this...

May started to walk again, still laughing. The Umbreon got up, shaking his body to get rid of all the dust.

Once again, he caught up with his girlfriend. Making sure she wasn't fully aware of his intentions, he planned for a second strike.

"How about TH- Eh?!!??"

It all happened in an instant. The end result was Kyurex with his back to the ground, and May with her paws on either side of the Umbreon. The female grinned.

"What's this? The same lame move from before? You should have known that it would not work honey..."

Kyurex sighed, relaxing himself. He had no other ideas.

"Okay...I give up."

May chuckled. The Umbreon enjoyed feeling her breath on his face.

"What was that about "Don't give up."?"

Kyurex smiled.

"If it means that you won, why not..."

"Oh, these lines again..- Oh! Kyu!"

Kyurex used the moment to abruptly use his strength and roll over with May, changing positions. He looked into her eyes.

"Did I earn "it" now?"

Their muzzles moved close to another.

"Yeah...."

And they kissed. Now the Mightyena didn't hold back, stroking Kyurexs tongue with hers. She felt safe, loved and satisfied at the same time, understanding to enjoy such moments. Her lust grew wildly, she couldn't feel it enough yet, but gradually something told her that she wanted more than just a kiss.

"Unngh??" May broke the kiss. She felt something...

Kyurex looked into her eyes, confused again.

The Umbreon gulped. He only now noticed that May was just as nervous as he was. After some starring Kyurex understood that there was no way out, and that it was time to get it over with. It was time to finally know what its like to have a mate, though he was honestly scared that he would somehow mess up.

"So, em, you really do?"

"You think only males think about such stuff? Kyu, we're lovers now.......I want to know what it feels like...And there is no other who can grant me this wish but you."

Kyurex felt flattered.

There was no need for any words, their eyes expressed their will. Kyurex felt his hood grow, making the lust close to unbearable. He carefully moved his hips, searching for Mays sex. The Mightyena put her paws around her boyfriends neck, stabilizing herself.

May slowly got up, placing herself on top of Kyurex. They stared into each others eyes once again, trying to figure out what the other was thinking. Somehow they could feel that the bond between them had grown even stronger, and there was no more doubt about the fact that they loved each other.

May, seeing that Kyurex was exhausted, smirked seductively.

"Kyu....what if, lets say, your girlfriend wants more?"

The Umbreon, having calmed down, sighed.

"I'm tired....-eh May....that actually hurts..."

May gave him a questioning look.

"What? Here?"

She pushed slightly against his chest, the spot she had touched before.

"Yeah..."

"Weird..."

The Umbreon also thought that it was weird, because some spots, when touched, really hurt. And the thing was he didn't remember getting hit at all. He rested with his friends, everything was ok, he woke up, and then he suddenly had pain. It didn't make sense.

"May....you're gorgeous..." Kyurex just said what came to his mind, and he really did think so starring at the female on top of him.

"Is that so?" May felt flattered. She then licked his nose lightly to express her appreciation. "You know, call me paranoid, but today I was really suspicious..."

The Umbreon was confused, raising an eyebrow in response.

"Huh?"

May shook her head.

"No, I know its not true but, you had a strong scent of a female on you, but I mean, it must've been something else...just really strange..."

The Umbreon sighed.

"May...don't tell me that you think I can sleep walk, find a willing female too while at it, and do something with her and then just come back without removing the evidence?"

"I know...I know, okay? Just forget it."

Kyurex smirked.

"Doesn't take much for you to get jealous...does it?"

May laughed.

"God...Kyu, don't get so full of yourself."

The Umbreon felt a bit offended.

"Then I guess you won't have a problem if I date someone else. Sounds cool." He joked. Kyurex stopped grinning as soon as he noticed Mays glare.

"Oh Mister...I dare you to actually TRY it..." she smiled back. The Umbreon knew he was helpless.

"Just joking...I wouldn't fall for anything but this lovely and aggressive, jealous, personality right here. AI-"

The Mightyena startled the Umbreon by pressing with all her might against his bruised spot on the chest.

"Whos aggressive?"

"Hehe...Never mind."

And so the two enjoyed their time together, letting the seemingly endless night pass by.
