Now, enough with all the cautions and warnings. Here you go!_ ^w^

I sighed to myself as I walked in my human guise along the path that wound through Petalburg woods, Route 104, leading from Petalburg City to Rustboro, where the first Gym challenge awaited. I felt rather alone; all of my Pokémon except for Gardevoir were in their Pokéballs, including Latias. I sighed again, feeling very alone without her comforting presence walking along beside me; we had decided shortly after leaving Littleroot that she would travel with me inside of her Pokéball until we made camp. We both understood the necessity of it, but that didn't make it any easier for me to travel without her walking next to me.

Ian, did you hear anything I just said? Gardevoirs telepathic voice intruded upon my thoughts, snapping me back to reality and making me jump slightly.

"No Gardevoir, I'm sorry, what were you saying?" I asked sheepishly, scratching the back of my neck with an embarrassed half-smile on my face as she sighed and shook her head, laughing a little.

I was saying that it's getting a little late and maybe we should make camp. she replied exasperatedly, and I laughed as I looked up and saw that the sun was setting above the trees, turning everything into varying shades of gray and black as the light faded.

"Oh, right. Of course." I said as I looked around for a good spot to make a campsite. After a moment, a small glint of reflected silver light caught my eye, and after walking a ways into the trees to investigate I found a small lake, well hidden from the path. "How about we camp here for tonight? I know we're only about three hours from Rustboro, but I'm tired and I don't exactly want any company tonight." I said as I pointed it out to her, and she smiled and nodded in understanding as I let my heavy traveling pack slide off of my shoulders with a very audible sigh of relief. Smiling happily, I picked each one of the small red-and-white Pokéballs off of my belt and threw them into the air, each one popping open and letting out a burst of red energy that coalesced into several familiar forms: Blaziken, Dragonair, and Milotic, my fathers old Pokémon that he had given to me before I left Littleroot not two hours ago, and Flareon and Latias, my mates.

"Finally, a chance to stretch! It's a bit cramped inside that tiny little ball...," Latias said, stretching her arms before floating over and giving me a soft kiss. "Miss me?" she asked coyly, a sly smile on her features as I hugged her, her fur soft and silky.

"You have no idea..." I murmured into her ear, making her giggle a little as she hugged me back, closing her eyes and letting out a small hum of contentment as she did so.

"Hey! Hey! Master, what about me?! I want a hug too!" Flareon exclaimed as she ran over and pawed at my pants leg, rather cat-like, and looked up at me with a slight pout on her features. Latias and I laughed as we let go of each other, and I reached down to pick up Flareon, making her let out a small, surprised yip as I lifted her onto my shoulder.

"How's this, little one?" I chuckled, and she smiled as she jumped up on top of my head, settling down and curling up, her bushy, cream-colored tail falling down to cover my eyes and obscure my vision.

"Works for me!" she said, and I laughed as I picked her up off of my head. "Hey!" she exclaimed indignantly as I put her back down on the ground, huffing at me.

"Sorry little one, but I have to set up camp. Plus, I think there are a few Pokémon here that I need to introduce and explain things to, don't you?" I replied, and Latias, Flareon, and I looked at Blaziken, Milotic, and Dragonair, whose mouths were hanging open in consternation and shock. "It's been a while since I last saw you guys, hasn't it?" I asked, laughing at their still-stunned expressions.

"Yes sir. But if you don't mind me asking, how can you understand Pokémon language now?" Blaziken asked, his voice crisp as he recovered and closed his mouth, his usual militaristic demeanor reasserting itself as the surprise wore off. Latias and I glanced at each other and smiled a little, blushing slightly. Dragonair, having gotten over her own surprise by now and having always been the observant one, caught the look we exchanged and smiled knowingly.

"So, you finally found a Pokémon mate Ian? Congratulations are in order, I believe!" she chimed happily, her voice high and trilling. Milotic looked even more stunned at this, and Blaziken just stared at us, shocked once more as I stared at Dragonair in surprise; how had she known about me being interested in Pokémon?! As if reading my thoughts, she shook her head knowingly as she smiled. "I could tell back when you and Flareon were still having your 'fun' together, Ian. I didn't expect you and Flareon to become mates, but I did expect you to end up having a Pokémon mate." she said with a wink, and Latias, Flareon and I blushed deeply as we all looked at each other.

"Well... Actually, both Latias and Flareon are my mates...," I said as my form began to shimmer, "and, so I don't waste any more time explaining things, I am a Pokémon now." I finished as my dark blue-and-white furred true form was revealed, leaving the three of them in absolute, stunned wonderment.

"But, but... That shouldn't be possible! You're a Legendary Pokémon?! This... There's just no way..." Milotic said, her voice trailing off as I laughed, shaking my head slightly at her.

"Milotic, I assure you I am a Legendary now." I said as I smiled, and she just blinked a couple times before nodding and seemingly accepting it without another word. Blaziken was regarding me in a new light, and Dragonair was positively beaming with merriment.

"Well, as Dragonair said, congratulations Ian." Both Milotic and Blaziken said at the same time, starting to smile as well.

"Thanks you guys. Though... there is one other thing I should probably tell you." I started reluctantly, and their expressions returned to their previous confusion. "Last night Lady Arceus herself called Latias and myself to her realm while we were asleep. While there, she revealed an ancient prophecy about myself and something called the Arvel Revenant. Apparently it is gaining strength and I am the only one that can destroy it, and if I don't, then the whole world will perish." As soon as I said the Revenant's name, Dragonair flinched as if struck.

"No... It cannot be... You, the one in that prophecy?" she said in a near whisper, her expression showing more horror than I would have thought possible. I stared at her, surprised and worried; if that was her reaction to the name, she obviously knew something about it, and if she was worried then the rest of us should be as well.

"You know about the prophecy and the Revenant? How?" Latias asked her as she floated next to me and hugged my arm tightly, the only outward sign of her inward worries.

"I was very well-traveled before I met Ian's father. I have been to almost every region; Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh," Dragonair began in a rather reluctant manner, "and during my travels, I learned of this Arvel Revenant and the prophecy that pertained to it and the one destined to destroy it; the prophecy was engraved on a monolithic stone tablet buried deep underground in some Arceus-forsaken ruins, next to a skeleton clothed in ancient, decayed robes, and with a band of cloth tied about it's eyes. On the wall next to the prophecy the Revenant's name had been carved deeply with an arrow pointing at the first verse of the prophecy. Afterwards, I devoted some time to learning what manner of creature the Revenant was and why there would be a prophecy about it being destroyed. How I wish I could forget what I learned..." she trailed off, her long, serpentine body shuddering violently as she squeezed her eyes shut. "Ian, if you are truly the one named in the prophecy, I'm so sorry for what you have been forced into..."

"I am the one, Dragonair. 'Born of one, remade to another, Beloved of the Ages,'" I quoted in a tired voice. "Do you know any other humans that have been transformed into Pokémon lately?" I asked, and she shook her head, her expression sorrowful as Latias hugged my arm even tighter.

"Ian, I hate to interrupt, but it would probably be a good idea for you to set up camp before someone accidentally sees you in your true form." Gardevoir said, a rather impatient and worried edge to her voice, and I jumped.

"Oh, yeah... I completely forgot about that." I chuckled half-heartedly as I shifted back to my human form to begin setting up camp. I was beginning to dislike my human form; even if I could still use my powers, it just didn't feel... right, anymore. I shrugged off those thoughts as I set about the business of setting up the tent, making a fire pit, and cooking dinner for all of us. The simple stew I made while traveling couldn't even hold a candle to my mom's amazing cooking, but it would have to do.

Later that night, when the full moon was high overhead and reflected perfectly on the mirror-smooth surface of the lake, I was sitting high up in a tree overlooking the lake, Latias cuddled up against me, both of us in human form just in case someone did manage to find the well-hidden campsite next to the lake, and I smiled, despite the worry that weighed heavily upon my mind. Just being next to Latias, being able to have her next to me and to cuddle with her was always a comfort, and could always bring a smile to my features. Looking over at Latias, I saw that her expression was one of such deep thought to the point that she seemed totally oblivious to the world around her. Curious as to what she would be thinking about so hard, I nudged her gently.

Latias, love, what are you thinking about so much? I asked, hugging her gently as she started slightly before looking at me, her expression somewhat sad, yet joyous at the same time.

I've been thinking about the third verse of the prophecy, the one that Arceus never explained, and I think I might have just figured out what it means. she said, her tone both sad and joyous, just like her expression, which confused me.

And this makes you sad, yet happy at the same time? How? I asked tentatively, and she shook her head as she smiled at me.

No, love. I was sad because I was thinking about you being the one that has to fight. I'm actually happy about the meaning of that particular verse. she said by way of explanation, leaving me still somewhat confused. She smiled as she quoted the verse to me: Through Love the Light shall shine, A bond of Souls, Forged through Love unconditional, Without which the battle shall not be won. It's referring to a Soul Bond. she said happily, and at this point I was completely bewildered.

What's a Soul Bond? I asked, and she looked at me in shock for a moment before blushing.

Oh, right. You wouldn't know, since you weren't born a Pokémon... A Soul Bond is a special type of bond between mates; usually only really powerful psychic-type Pokémon can form one, though it has been known to occur with other types as well, and in very rare cases, humans. It basically melds the minds and souls of two beings through a very powerful psychic link until their souls are as one, which is the reason it is called a Soul Bond. Soul Bonded mates are able to feel whatever their partner feels and share memories and thoughts with each other. It's a rather... intimate, bond and only a handful of Pokémon have the power to form them at will, most of them Legendaries. she said quickly, blushing furiously as I looked at her with a stunned expression; I had never thought such a thing existed. Ian...Would you... would you be my Soul-Bonded mate? I know we're already mates, but... this is something more... she asked tentatively, searching my eyes with her own, an almost pleading tone in her telepathic voice. I embraced her tightly, kissing her softly as I held her, feeling my heart full of love for my wonderful mate Latias.

Of course, Latias. I would be honored to be your Soul-Bonded mate. I said, and she let out a telepathic cry of joy as she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me so tightly I was having trouble breathing. Latias... Can't breathe, love... I said, and she giggled as she loosened her hold somewhat, just enough for me to gasp in a much-needed breath. So... how do we form a Soul Bond? I asked, unsure what exactly was going to happen.

Well, first we have to be in our true forms..., she said as she shimmered and changed forms, and I followed suit a moment later, Now, just relax and let me handle the rest... she said, her voice trailing off as she took my paws in her own, her honey-gold eyes slowly starting to glow, and I felt a tugging sensation at the fringes of my mind. I fought it for the briefest of moments before relaxing; I trusted Latias more than anyone else. As the glowing of her eyes intensified, growing brighter and brighter, the pull on my consciousness grew stronger and stronger, and I felt my own power rising up to meet hers, extending outward of it's own accord, and I felt it start to pull on her consciousness even as her power kept pulling at mine. Suddenly, my vision split and I was looking through two different sets of eyes; my own, seeing Latias' entire body starting to glow a gentle red hue now, and I was also looking at myself through her eyes, seeing my own body starting to glow a deep blue in response.

The glow started to slowly move away from our bodies, forming two perfect replicas of our forms, one made of red energy, the other of dark blue, and they slowly started to converge, and as they did so the colors blended together until they were a single form that looked exactly like our own, except it was a bright, incandescent white. As I gazed at it through two different sets of eyes, I realized in a detached sort of way that the glowing form was our souls, bound to each other inseparably. As the form grew brighter, I felt a warm rush of emotions flow into my mind; love, happiness, and joy transcendent, and a rush of memories came with them. I realized then that they came from Latias, and I could feel my own memories and emotions flowing through our new bond to her, all of my love and happiness, everything I felt for her. The glowing form of our newly bonded souls suddenly flashed blindingly bright, throwing it's incandescent head to the sky, turning night into day for the briefest of moments before dispersing and being reabsorbed into our bodies.

As it dispersed, my vision snapped back to within my own body so that I was once again seeing through only my own eyes. In the back of my mind I felt a new... presence, would be the best way to describe it, and I knew that it was the bond between Latias and myself and I smiled happily as I realized that I would always be able to sense her. Through it, I could still sense her emotions and thoughts. I felt very tired all of a sudden, and I quickly shifted back to human form before I collapsed against the trunk of the tree we were still sitting in, just in case some human decided to investigate the bright flash.

Thank you, Ian... Latias said tiredly as she changed forms, becoming her human self once more and curling up next to me in the tree, hugging my arm gently as she smiled up at me. I had no idea that you felt that strongly about me. she smiled, and I smiled back lovingly at her as I leaned in to kiss her gently.

To be honest, I had no idea you felt that strongly either. I said, and we both shook with silent laughter. Suddenly, down below us I heard the sound of running, and I looked down to see Blaziken, Dragonair, Milotic, Flareon, and Gardevoir crowding around the base of the tree and looking up at us.

Ian, Latias! What was all of that light we just saw?! Gardevoir yelled telepathically, and I winced; she had a tendency to be overloud when she was excited, and it hurt a bit.

"Wasn't it obvious, Gardevoir? They've formed a Soul Bond!" Dragonair exclaimed, and everyone assembled gasped in shock. After a moment of stunned silence, Flareon let out a loud, angry yell.

"I knew it! I knew you didn't want me any more! It was all a lie!" she yelled, tears starting to spill down her face, her expression hurt and angry as she glared at Latias and I.

"Flareon, little one...," I started to say, shocked that she would think I would do something like that to her, but she cut me off by yelling again.

"NO! I don't want to hear any more of your lies! I never want to see you ever again!!" she yelled, right before she turned and ran off into the woods, tears still streaming down her face. I looked dazedly over at Latias and saw that her expression was just as shocked as my own.

We need to find her before she gets hurt, Ian... I'm so sorry, I should have thought about it and asked her if she was okay with it... Latias said slowly, tears starting to form in her eyes, and through our new bond I felt her blaming herself for Flareon's reaction. I tried to send her soothing feelings as I hugged her gently.

"No, Latias. It wasn't your fault that Flareon reacted badly. You asked me to be your soulmate out of your love for me, and she should know better than to think that I was lying to her about loving her as well." I said forcefully, and Latias looked at me with a small, sad smile as I felt her gratitude through our bond.

"Latias, you didn't tell him everything about the bond, did you?" Dragonair called up the tree in a slightly accusatory tone, startling me since I had been so focused on everything else. I looked at Latias to ask what Dragonair meant, and she sighed heavily.

I didn't want to worry you..., she began in a regretful tone, hanging her head and looking away in shame, basically, if... if you die, now... now so do I... and if I die... so do you... I'm so sorry, I should have told you! she cried in anguish, tears falling from her honey-gold eyes to drip onto the tree. My vision went gray and I suddenly felt as if a giant fist had smashed into my stomach, driving the air from my lungs.

"Latias... You... you're willing to do that, willing to bind your life to mine, knowing that it is all too possible that I will die fighting the Revenant?" I whispered in shock, and she looked back up at me, still crying freely.

Ian... You're... not mad at me for not telling you? she asked tentatively, and through the bond I felt that she really did think I would be mad at her. I shook my head, and she smiled a little.

"Latias.. You can look into my mind now, and you really expected me to get mad because you didn't tell me that? Without you my life isn't worth living anyway. But you never answered my question: you're really willing to bind your life to mine, even knowing that it is likely I will die fighting the Revenant?" I asked her again, my tone serious, and she nodded vigorously as she wrapped her arms around me tightly.

Of course I am, Ian. I love you more than anyone, if you died, life would lose all meaning for me... she said as she hugged me tightly, and I wrapped my own arms around her, laying my head atop hers. _ We should probably go find Flareon now, before she gets hurt._ Latias said, and I nodded.

"Everyone, we're going to go find Flareon. We'll come back with her once we've found her." I told the others still gathered at the base of the tree, and one by one they nodded. I nodded sharply once in return, just before Latias and I changed into our true forms and shot away into the trees Flareon had disappeared into. It took us close to half an hour before we finally found her, sitting on the bank of a creek and crying silently. Before we got close enough for her to notice us, Latias grabbed my paw and held me back.

"Ian, let me talk to her first... It's my fault for not asking her if she was okay with it, and I need to apologize, okay?" she said, and I sighed and nodded slightly, having known she would probably want to talk to Flareon first. Latias smiled reassuringly at me, and I watched as she slowly floated over to where Flareon was sitting, her paws clasped nervously in front of her. As soon as Flareon noticed her, she jumped up, fire starting to blaze forth from her paws as she glared at Latias hatefully. I was about to go over and stop Flareon, but through the bond I felt Latias reassuring me that she would be fine, so I reluctantly stayed in my spot and watched.

"What do you want?! You here to gloat?" Flareon spat out venomously, hate twisting her features into a snarl as she continued to glare, the grass around her paws starting to blacken and burn as the flames around her paws intensified. Latias said something so quietly that I didn't quite catch what it was, and Flareon calmed down a little, but her reply was still loud enough for me to hear. "Yes, I do love him, I told you that before! And of course I know what a Soul Bond is!! Why are you asking me such stupid questions?!" she almost yelled, and Latias shook her head as she replied.

"If you know what a Soul Bond is, then you should know that I only did it because I love him more than anything, including my own life. Neither of us was lying when we said we could love you just the same as we love each other." Latias replied in a soft voice that nonetheless had an undertone of steel. Flareon simply snarled at her, though it seemed a bit more forced than before.

"Oh really? Both of you can love me, huh?" she growled sarcastically, "Then why don't you prove it?" Latias blushed heavily, right before she leaned in towards Flareon and kissed her passionately, full on the lips. I stared in shock, and through our bond I could tell that she wasn't faking the fiery passion in her kiss just for the sake of making amends with Flareon; Latias was genuinely attracted to her! I nearly fell out of the air in surprise as I watched the flames burning around Flareon's paws die out almost instantly, the Fire-type slowly starting to return the kiss just as, if not more passionately.

"Do you believe me now?" Latias asked slyly once they stopped making out, and Flareon blushed heavily as she nodded slightly, an apologetic look on her face.

"I... I'm sorry, Latias... I... I shouldn't have reacted like I did..." Flareon said, hanging her head. Latias smiled; and suddenly I felt her mood turn mischievous, as if she was up to something. She shot a sly glance in my direction before leaning down to whisper in Flareon's ear, her voice too low for me to hear. I watched, intrigued, as Flareon looked up at her in shock, then looked over her shoulder at me, a sultry smile slowly spreading across her features as she turned back to Latias and nodded once. Latias clapped her paws together once, smiling broadly as she leaned down and kissed Flareon again, right before turning around and slowly settling onto the ground, presenting her sex to the Fire-type Pokémon.

I stared in shock, feeling myself starting to get hard as Latias looked back at me, winking sexily before closing her eyes, blushing deeply and letting out a soft moan as Flareon gently pushed her muzzle up against Latias' folds and started to lick around the outside of her swiftly moistening sex. As Flareon blushed just as deeply as Latias and continued to eat her out with slow, sensual licks, I realized that they were deliberately putting on a show for me, and I also realized that I could feel exactly what Latias was feeling, her pleasure echoing across our bond and into my mind, heightening my own arousal as I watched her being eaten out.

Flareon started to pick up the pace a little, starting to slowly thrust her tongue in and out of Latias' now-soaked sex, drawing soft moans and small cries of pleasure from her as her juices started to run over Flareon's muzzle and chin to drip onto the ground, starting to form a small pool of fluids beneath them. Flareon began to pick up the pace a little more, pushing her muzzle into Latias a little as Latias reached back with one of her paws and slowly started to rub at her clit gently, starting to pant heavily as she arched her neck and managed to wink at me again in between her pleasured moans and heavy pants. As the combined scent of Flareon's and Latias' arousal assaulted my nose, I was unable to help myself any longer, reaching down with a paw and wrapping it around my now fully erect member, starting to masturbate slowly to the extremely sexy and arousing sight in front of me.

Latias suddenly flipped over onto her back, picking Flareon up and placing her on her stomach, Flareon yipping a little at the unexpected change of position before returning her attention to Latias' needy sex and letting out a moan as Latias buried her muzzle into Flareon's snatch, licking and nibbling at her clit even as Flareon did the same to her. Through our bond, I could feel Latias' climax rapidly approaching, hastening my own as I started to stroke my member faster, starting to pant heavily as I got ever closer to the release I craved.

"Latias! I'm cumming!" Flareon screamed, burying her muzzle as deep into Latias' cunt as she could, licking every possible inch inside of her as she climaxed, bucking her hips back against Latias' tongue, her fluids almost spraying out of her and onto Latias, who drank them eagerly, letting out her own cry as Flareon's frenzied licking brought her to her own peak, inundating Flareon in a flood of cum as she tried to swallow as much of it as she possibly could. As Latias came, her pleasure rippled powerfully across to me, and I let out a loud cry as I almost literally exploded, strings of white, gooey cum spraying from the tip of my member, some of my seed landing right next to Latias and Flareon, who were now kissing passionately, sharing their tastes with each other as they rode out the afterglow of their orgasms. Latias and Flareon broke their kiss after a moment as I floated over to them, and they giggled at me as they blushed quite heavily.

"Well, it certainly looks like someone enjoyed the show..." Latias winked coyly, and I blushed, nodding as she hugged me, pulling me down to the ground next to her as Flareon sprang up on top of my chest. Latias pulled me in for a passionate kiss, the strong, exotic flavor of Flareon's and her own cum exploding across my tongue as our tongues joined passionately, the taste slightly spicy and yet sweet at the same time. Suddenly, I felt something warm and wet engulf just the tip of my erection, and I moaned, breaking my kiss with Latias and looking down to see it was Flareon, her mouth wrapped around just the tip of my member, looking up at me with large eyes as if asking if she could continue. I looked at Latias rather uncertainly, unsure if she was really okay with it, and she gave me a very stern look. "Ian. I'm not going to be mad, honestly. You can look into my mind now and you really think I was lying? Not to mention what you just saw...," she teased, and I smiled and blushed in embarrassment, nodding down to Flareon, who let out a muffled cry of glee around my erection as she eagerly began to suckle on the tip, teasing me and making me moan in pleasure as Latias moved back in and claimed my mouth in a fiery kiss, the taste of her and Flareon's mixed cum still strong.

Flareon's slightly rough tongue circled my tip a few times as she teased me, making me moan into Latias' kiss and involuntarily buck my hips a little. She giggled slightly before starting to slowly bob her head up and down on my member, taking just a tiny bit of my length into and out of her muzzle as she looked up at me with large, playfully innocent eyes that I knew perfectly well. She had always used that look whenever we were doing something naughty, knowing it turned me on even more, and now was no exception. As she slowly sucked me off, Latias smiled down at me as she leaned in to whisper in my ear.

"This is just as hot as I thought it would be...," she whispered, her breath sending shivers down my spine as I saw the mischievous smile upon her features, "and I can't wait until she really gets going..." As if on cue, Flareon suddenly increased her speed and slowly took more and more of my member into her maw, until she had taken roughly two thirds of it, the tip tickling the back of her throat, and surprising me since I was much larger than I had been when I was human. She looked up at me with almost my entire length in her mouth, her eyes still with that innocent look, combined with a small twinkle of mischief and lust as she winked at me before slowly bobbing her head back, then quickly taking the entire thing back in in one go.

I let out a loud moan as I felt the walls of her tight throat constricting around me as she swallowed; the inside of her muzzle and throat were just as hot and tight as I remembered, feeling as if a little piece of heaven was wrapped around my member. Precum was leaking from my tip at a steady rate, making her almost purr in happiness as she swallowed it eagerly, starting to bob her head on my length faster and faster. I was panting heavily as my pleasure built, getting closer and closer to climax as I looked up at Latias, and blinked in shock as I saw she was slowly masturbating to the sight of Flareon sucking me off. The combined sight of Flareon and Latias, coupled with the scent of sex permeating the air, launched me over the edge and into my climax as I let out a loud cry as the pleasure erupted through my body and I closed my eyes and thrust my hips against Flareon's muzzle as I shot my load straight down her throat and into her stomach.

Flareon swallowed happily, trying to get as much of my cum into her stomach as she could, but she soon had to pull back so she could breathe, and the last few spurts landed on her muzzle and face, coating her in sticky white seed. I looked over at Latias again just in time to see her rubbing her clit furiously right before she let out a loud cry and came, her juices coating her paws and leaking down her backside to pool on the ground below her. As she hit her climax, her pleasure ripped through our bond and magnified the intensity of my own.

"Well, I see someone enjoyed that just as much as we did." Flareon teased Latias, who blushed deeply and stuck her tongue out at her as she smiled.

"Are you really done so soon though? I thought you would want to do more with him..." Latias said with a slight pout on her features, and Flareon looked slightly taken aback for a moment, and Latias leaned in to whisper in her ear, just loud enough for me to hear as well. "He is our lover, Flareon, not just mine or yours. You can do what you want with him." she whispered as she looked at me with a devilish smile, and I pouted a little.

"Hey, don't I get a say in this?" I teased, and they glanced at each other for a moment before smiling evilly and shaking their heads in unison.

"Nope." they said in unison, and I had just enough time to widen my eyes in surprise before I felt Latias using her telekinetic abilities to hold my arms down and Flareon rubbing her dripping sex against my still-hard member.

"Hey, what--mmmph... never mind..." I started to say, but Latias leaned in and erased my protest by kissing me once again as Flareon started to slowly impale herself on my length, letting out a moan of satisfaction as she shivered lustfully. I moaned into the passionate kiss between myself and Latias as I felt her take almost the entire length into her hot, wet sex; due to being a Fire-type, the temperature inside her snatch actually increased with her arousal, and judging by how hot it was already, she wasn't going to last very long. She shivered again and gave a rippling squeeze with her vaginal walls all along my member, making me moan out again as she started to slowly move herself up and down my length. Latias broke our passionate kiss and broke away, panting for air before leaning down to whisper in my ear.

"So that's what it feels like for you when you're inside me...," she whispered sensually, giving a small lick to the soft, sensitive spot right behind my ear, and I shivered again, struggling slightly against her telekinetic grasp on my arms to no avail. "Care to help me out a little~" she teased in a sing-song voice, and I blinked in confusion for a moment before she floated up and settled her still-dripping sex right over my face and I understood what she wanted.

She has become quite the naughty Pokémon since she became my mate... I thought to myself as I started to lick around the outside of Latias' sex, teasing her as she looked back at me and gave me a wink.

"I can hear those dirty thoughts all the way up here, you know." she teased, and I blinked in surprise and blushed deeply for a moment, before going back to pleasing her, pushing my face inside of her hot, moist folds a little as I began to lick around inside of her, her fluids completely soaking the fur of my face as I ate her out. Flareon chose that moment to speed up, swiftly ramming herself up and down my shaft as I let out a loud moan and buried my face as deep into Latias as I could, making sure to lathe every inch inside of her with my tongue as both Flareon and Latias started panting heavily. They both leaned forward and started to kiss passionately as Flareon continued to vigorously ram herself up and down and I continued to focus my attentions on Latias' needy sex, sucking her clit into my mouth and biting it gently as I licked it.

As soon as I did that, she came, breaking her kiss with Flareon as she arched her head up and cried out, her snatch convulsing wildly around my tongue as her sweet-tasting cum flooded my mouth and I swallowed as much of it as I could. As her pleasure rippled across our bond for the third time, it brought me to my own climax, and I let out a cry that was muffled by Latias' cunt as I came inside of Flareon, hot, sticky ropes of my cum filling her to the brim and spilling out of her to coat my backside in my own seed, sending Flareon into her own climax as well. She shoved herself down onto my shaft as far as she could before arching her head and letting out a blazing column of flame at the night sky, twisting her hips from side to side as her cunt convulsed around my member, heightening and prolonging my own climax as her fluids rushed out of her. After about a minute, the three of us were finally finished and we collapsed to the ground in utter exhaustion together, Latias releasing her hold on my arms as we did so.

"Well that was fun..." I panted as we laid there, Flareon and Latias cuddling up against me, one on each side.

"Mmmm... We definitely have to do this again sometime..." Flareon murmured, and Latias and I smiled at her.

"Of course, little one.. But for now, I think we should get cleaned up and head back to camp, don't you?" I said, and both Flareon and Latias sighed as they nodded. After a quick wash in the creek, Flareon hopped up on my back as Latias and I flew her back to our campsite, where we were greeted by Gardevoir, Dragonair, and Blaziken.

"Ah, there you guys are. It sure sounded like you were having a good time." Dragonair winked at us, and we blushed deeply in embarrassment.

"Dragonair! You're just as bad as Ian's mom!" Latias exclaimed, and Dragonair chuckled as Latias and I shifted back to our human forms, Flareon jumping off of my back as I did so.

"I learned from the best, darling." Dragonair replied with a wink as she turned and slithered off into the lake. Latias just stared after her and I laughed at her slightly perplexed expression.

I'll never understand why they like to tease us so much... I heard Latias thinking to herself, and I smiled as I hugged her.

"It's because we blush so adorably when we get embarrassed." I whispered in her ear, and she jumped as she looked at me.

Oh. That makes sense... I think? she replied as she hugged me back. I looked up at the night sky and saw it was getting close to dawn.

"I think we should go ahead and go to sleep now, Latias... We've got a long day ahead of us tomorrow." I said, and she nodded as she, Flareon, and I went into the tent and fell asleep all curled up together.

I sat in a dark corner booth, the dull, repetitive thumping of the club's music pounding against my ears as I nursed my drink, Indigo 18 whiskey on the rocks as I tried to get drunk while Latias and Gardevoir sat next to me, Latias in her human form as they both watched me in concern. I had challenged Roxanne not two hours ago, and she had completely demolished me without any apparent effort, which had resulted in both Flareon and Latias being hurt almost to the point of being knocked out. Unable to let them be hurt that badly, I had withdrawn my challenge and left the gym, recalling Flareon back into her Pokéball as Latias used her invisibility to follow me until we got to a place where she could change into her human form without being seen.

As soon as I left the Rustboro Gym, I had headed straight for the well-known bar The Dragons Roost, which was were I was now, trying to get drunk and forget how badly I had almost let Flareon and Latias get hurt.

Ian, you can't blame yourself for what happened... Latias said consolingly, and I shook my head as tears formed in my eyes.

Latias, you know as well as I do that it's my fault that you and Flareon got hurt... If I hadn't let the two of you fight, you wouldn't have gotten hurt...Remember, I felt everything that hit you... I said, and she shook her head at me.

I know you did, Ian. But you have to remember that both Flareon and myself knew we could get hurt and we still asked you to let us fight. You can't blame yourself for that. she replied as she hugged my arm gently, and I felt her send me soothing feelings through our bond.

"Everything alright over here?" an unfamiliar voice intruded on our conversation, and I looked up to see a man that I didn't know standing in front of our table. He was six feet two inches tall, had slightly curly shoulder-length black hair, and green eyes.

"Yeah, just great." I replied, trying unsuccessfully to keep the sarcasm out of my voice, and he pulled up a chair next to our table.

"Let me guess. You came here to challenge Roxanne and you lost." he said, and I stared at him in surprise, and he chuckled slightly.

"I see it all the time. People come, challenge her, lose, and a lot of them end up here. My name's Jace Whitehale, by the way. What's yours?" he asked, and I looked at the hand he extended a little warily.

"Um... My name's Ian Moone. Nice to meet you, I think." I shook the proffered hand, an he smiled before looking over his shoulder as his name was called from the DJ's booth at the front of the club.

"Hey, can you guys excuse me for a moment? I gotta go." he said, and I watched him push his way through the crowd until he got to the booth.

"Guess he's the DJ of the club. Oh well, come on guys. I really don't want to have a hangover in the morning..." I sighed, pushing my half-full glass of whiskey to the center of the table as I stood and stretched, Latias and Gardevoir getting up and following me as I walked out into the afternoon sunlight. The last thing I remembered was the feeling of a heavy object smashing into the side of my head with an explosion of pain before my world went dark.

"Ian! Yo, wake up man!" I heard a voice, and I groaned as I slowly regained consciousness, the pain in my head resurfacing with a vengeance.

"W-what... Who..." I said as I tried to crack my eyes open, and quickly closed them again as the light hurt my eyes.

"It's Jace. Hey, come on, wake up man! Your friend Gardevoir is missing." As soon as I heard him say that, I sat bolt upright and opened my eyes, pain all but forgotten.

"What do you mean, she's missing?!" I asked angrily, eyeing him suspiciously as he shook his head.

"I came back to your table to try and find you, but you were already gone. I came outside and you were just laying here in the middle of the street, blood pooling under your head as your other friend, the girl, was shaking you frantically. By the way, how come your head is already healed?" he asked, and I ignored his question as I got quickly to my feet.

"How long has it been since I was knocked out?" I asked, and he just looked at me like I was crazy. "Come on, I don't have all fucking day!" I almost screamed at him, and suddenly I felt a pressure on my arm and I looked over to see Latias hugging my arm tightly.

Calm down love. I turned invisible and watched. It was the two that almost killed you during the Tour de Altomare. I was almost shocked to see her expression darken angrily, but I knew my own expression was much the same.

"Melenium X and Christopher Caroway. Those little fuckers." I muttered darkly, and Jace looked at me in surprise.

"What are you talking about?" he asked, and I looked up at him, and he recoiled in shock at the rage in my expression.

"The last thing I remember is two people, a man and a woman, hitting me on the side of the head with something." I lied, not wanting to reveal the fact that Latias and myself were more than we appeared to be. "These same two people almost killed me during the Tour de Altomare when they set up TNT in some buildings along the race course. Their names are Melenium X and Christopher Caroway. They must have knocked me out and abducted Gardevoir." I growled, and his expression darkened considerably, which confused me. "Wait, why are you angry about this? You don't even really know us." I asked curiously, my curiosity getting the better of me.

"Because I know those two. They're part of Team Rocket, and they've hassled me in the past when they tried to steal my Pokémon." he growled out, and I smiled darkly.

"Well then, it seems we both have a reason to find them. Let's get to it shall we?" I asked, and he nodded sharply, still scowling darkly as we fanned out and searched Rustboro for anyone who could tell us where the two had gone. After about a half hour of searching, I finally found a boy that was able to tell me that he saw two strange people carrying an unconscious Gardevoir towards Petalburg woods, and I handed him a ten dollars as thanks for the information before I charged off back towards Petalburg woods, Jace and Latias following me closely.

It took us another half an hour to find where the two Team Rocket members had disappeared to. They were in a clearing, situated deep within Petalburg woods. As soon as we walked into the clearing and I saw them, my rage ignited and I clenched my fists, wanting to completely destroy the two standing in front of me as I saw what they had done. They had put Gardevoir into a machine that was keeping her both unconscious so she couldn't use her psychic abilities, and in a stasis field so she couldn't move. I started to move forward, small, barely noticeable flickers of dark blue energy starting to crackle around my tightly clenched fists, my fingernails biting into my palms and drawing blood.

I was so furious that I almost spun and snapped at Jace when he put out a hand and grasped my arm.

"Let me handle this, Ian. I've been wanting to encounter these two for quite a while." he said, his teeth gritted in anger, and I decided to let him handle it just so I could see what he would do. As soon as I nodded, he turned his attention back to the two Team Rocket members standing with their backs to us, having not noticed us yet, and I let the energy crackling around my fists dissipate, thankful he hadn't noticed it.

"Hey assholes! Remember me?!" he yelled out at them, and they jumped in surprise before whirling around.

"Holy shit... This is annoying." Christopher muttered, his expression annoyed, and I glared at him.

"Why don't you just leave us alone, kids? Go play at being Trainers somewhere else." Melenium said with a dismissive wave of her hand, and I could swear I felt one of my back teeth crack as I clenched my jaw.

"'Play at being Trainers'? Is that really the best you've got?" Jace laughed at them, and their expressions turned murderous as they reached towards their belts.

Oh no you don't! I thought to myself as I silently reached out with my psychic powers, and the Pokéballs on their belts flew away into the trees to our right before they could pick one of them. They looked very surprised by this, and I grinned to myself as I watched their expressions and Jace just laughed even harder at them as he taunted them.

"Looks like that Gardevoir isn't completely unconscious after all! Now then...Come on out... Entei." Jace said calmly as he picked a Pokéball off of his belt and tossed it high up into the air, the ball opening and red energy shooting out as the Pokémon inside was released. I stared at him in disbelief; surely he was joking! Christopher and Melenium looked equally doubtful, until the red energy from the Pokéball solidified into the form of the Legendary Pokémon Entei. My jaw dropped open in amazement, and Christopher and Melenium suddenly looked very, very scared.

** ** Why have you called on me, Jace? a deep telepathic voice thundered in my head, and apparently in the other's as well since all of us except for Jace jumped in surprise. With a start, I realized it was Entei's voice.

"I need your help, my friend. These people here think it's okay to abduct another person's Pokémon. I would greatly appreciate your help in explaining to them why that's a very bad idea." Jace said with a gesture towards Christopher and Melenium, and Entei turned his attention to them. As his gaze passed over them and he saw Gardevoir inside the glass chamber of the machine that was keeping her unconscious, his expression darkened considerably.

Very well Jace. I will help you. Entei said before turning and slowly walking towards the two Team Rocket members. You see, it's a very bad idea to abduct any other person's Pokémon for a couple of reasons. First, because we Pokémon are not just animals, and we don't like being taken from our Trainers, those of us that have a Trainer anyway. Second, because Trainers don't like having people always trying to steal their Pokémon, because their Pokémon are usually their friends as well. And finally, because I don't like it when people do that. So, why don't you two just let that Gardevoir out of that horrid machine and be on your way? he said with a falsely amicable tone as he approached them. They didn't move however, and Entei sighed. Have it your way then. he said, before letting loose a deafening roar. Flames shot up from around his paws, charring the grass around them as he leveled upon the two the kind of glare only a Fire-type was capable of giving. I said, let her go. NOW. his voice thundered through our heads, and yet still they refused to move. With a roar of anger, the flames around his paws intensified and he swiftly charged at the machine, ramming the glass with one powerful, superheated forepaw. The glass of the machine shattered and melted, running onto the ground before hardening again. Gardevoir started to fall over, free of the machine, but I sprinted to her and caught her before she came even close to crumpling onto the ground.

Jace looked at me in shock for a moment, and I realized that in my haste I had forgotten to restrain my speed and had moved much faster than a human was supposed to be capable of. Mentally sighing, I ignored his stare as I watched Entei as he rounded on the two Team Rocket members, but they were already gone, running into the forest as fast as they possibly could. Entei snorted derisively as he let the flames surrounding his paws die. I smiled at him as he turned and walked back to where Jace, Latias, Gardevoir, and I were waiting. As he approached, Gardevoir started stirring and waking up, and as her eyes opened, I smiled happily in relief that she was awake.

"Are you okay Gardevoir?" I asked her, and she smiled.

Yes, I seem to be fine. she stated simply, before standing up and seeing Entei approaching us. She swayed slightly in shock, and I was afraid she was going to faint. She steadied herself a moment later, still staring at him in shock. Ian... What did I miss while I was unconscious? she asked rather tentatively, and I smiled a little.

"Quite a bit. I think I will let Jace and Entei explain this one though." I said, and she turned to me in surprise.

Jace? You mean the DJ from The Dragon's Roost? she asked, and I nodded as I looked back at Jace and he walked over to us.

"Hello Gardevoir. I am the both the owner and DJ of The Dragons Roost, by the way. Nice to meet yah! Again." Jace said cheerfully as he held out a hand to shake with her. She shook it tentatively, slightly wary. "My friend Entei and I were just helping Ian and his friend here save you." he explained, and she nodded gratefully.

My thanks Jace, and you too Entei. she replied, looking back over her shoulder and smiling at Entei, who was right behind us now. Jace nodded and Entei snorted and smiled in acknowledgement.

I really dislike Team Rocket anyway. he said, and I laughed. I stopped abruptly as he swung his massive head around to study me more closely. His eyes widened as he studied me, and even more when he saw Latias. So... what would you two "Legendary Pokémon" as they call us, be doing here, and why didn't you save your friend Gardevoir yourselves? he asked, and Latias and I flinched as Jace stared at us in amazement.

"We were kind of trying to not expose the fact that we are in fact Pokémon, and Legendaries as well." I replied, and he nodded.

Quite understandable. Most Trainers would do anything to get ahold of one of us Legendaries. he replied, and I nodded.

"Can I trust you and Jace to keep this a secret?" I asked cautiously, and Entei nodded. However, Jace shook his head, and I glared at him darkly before he explained himself.

"Sorry Ian. I'm just not entirely sure that you are indeed a Pokémon. You can move really fast, and Entei says you are, but I don't believe what I haven't seen with my own eyes." he said apologetically, and my glare slipped away as I nodded in understanding.

"Fair enough, but I warn you; it would end very badly for you indeed if you were to try and capture me." I warned him, and he laughed, surprising me.

"You think I'm one of the Trainers that just captures Legendary Pokémon? No, I'm not like that. I think all Legendaries should be left alone because they keep the world in balance. To make a long story short, the only reason Entei is with me is because he asked to travel with me." he said honestly, and I looked at Entei, who nodded and smiled.

"Very well. But first, a little bit of information: I was not born a Pokémon. I was born a human." Jace and Entei just stood there, their jaws dropping in shock and their eyes widening. I looked at Latias questioningly, and she nodded as she understood that I thought we could trust the two in front of us. She came over to stand beside me and she hugged my arm. "Introductions first: this is one of my mates, Latias." I said, and their expressions became even more shocked if that were possible. Latias' body shimmered as she changed into her true form, and they just kept staring, making her blush. "Guys, if you keep your mouths open like that a passing Pidgey might decide to use them as a nest. I would introduce you to my other mate, Flareon, but she got injured during my fight with Roxanne." I sighed, and they managed to get over their shock enough to close their mouths.

"Nice to meet you Latias." They said in unison, and she smiled.

It's nice to meet you two as well. she replied, and they jumped in shock. Yes, I can talk. she said as she giggled at their embarrassed expressions. I chuckled lightly as I waved my hand in front of the two to get their attention once more.

"Hey, over here you two. I'm not done with my introductions just yet." I chuckled, and they looked back over at me as my form started to shimmer and reshape itself into my true form, Jace's eyes getting wider as my true form was revealed.

"H-how... How is that possible... You just said you weren't born as a Pokémon, yet you clearly are one..." Jace said incredulously, his expression frozen in open-mouthed wonderment.

So you believe me now? I said with a hint of exasperation and mock annoyance in my tone, and his expression instantly turned to one of guilt. Don't worry Jace, I don't blame you for being skeptical. Now, if you hadn't believed me after this_, I would have been rather pissed at you, but I'm not._ I said, and his expression went from shock at hearing me speak telepathically to relief that I wasn't angry at him. It only took me a moment to give the two of them a much-abbreviated version of the events that lead to my becoming a Pokémon, the original reason I had become a Trainer once more, and finally how Arceus had charged me with fighting and defeating the Arvel Revenant because I was the one prophesied to do so.

"Damn...," Jace muttered as I finished my abbreviated tale, "you have got a lot resting on your shoulders, my friend. Entei, what do you think? Should we help them?" he asked, looking over at Entei, who was sitting with a grave expression.

Yes, Jace. The Arvel Revenant is the greatest threat to this world, and Ian is indeed the one named in the prophecy; the one that will save the world. he replied, his tone just as grave as his expression, and Jace nodded once.

"Alright then, that settles it. Would you mind if we were to travel with you from now on?" he smiled as he extended his hand once more, and I looked at Latias and Gardevoir.

"Do you think we can trust him enough to let him travel with us?" I asked them out loud so that Jace wouldn't understand what I was saying. Gardevoir and Latias studied Jace rather intently for a moment or two before they looked back at me and nodded.

"I think we can trust him, love." Latias replied, and I smiled at her as I returned my attention to Jace.

Welcome to the club. We've got jackets. I joked as I extended a paw and grasped his hand, giving a firm shake as he laughed, Latias and Gardevoir rolling their eyes and even Entei letting out a small chuckle. Now, I think it's time I paid Roxanne another visit. Except this time, I think I will be the first Pokémon I use. I said, and Jace looked at me rather thoughtfully.

"Actually... I think you can really do that. The rules state you can only have six Pokémon with you at any one time, but since you are a Pokémon, I don't think that really applies... Besides, there isn't actually any rule against a Pokémon being a Trainer." he said with a shrug, and I looked at him incredulously.

_ _

_ You're telling me I could have used_ myself the first time?! I face palmed in exasperation before shifting back to my human form. "Alright then, let's get going." I said, and Latias returned to her human form alongside me as Jace called Entei back into his Pokéball.

I stood in front of the doors to the Rustboro Gym, my heart rate through the roof as I prepared myself for my second attempt at defeating Roxanne. Feeling a pressure on my right arm, I looked over to see Latias hugging my arm tightly as she smiled at me.

I know you can do it, love. she said encouragingly, and I leaned down to kiss her softly.

"It's not me I'm worried about, it's you... Anything that hits me, you'll feel too..." I said, and she shook her head slightly, and I looked at her in confusion.

You can harden the link between us to keep me from feeling anything that hits you. The only reason you felt the attacks that hit me earlier is because I didn't have the willpower to keep the pain out of the bond... her voice trailed off as she looked down, ashamed. I gently reached down and lifted her face up and kissed her again.

"It's okay Latias. It's not your fault." I said soothingly as I sent her soothing thoughts through the bond, and she smiled up at me gratefully. "Let's get this over with." I said, straightening up and walking through the doors into the Gym. Roxanne looked up from where she was sitting at the other end of the arena in the Gym.

"Ah, Ian! Back for another round already?" she said, genuinely surprised, and I smiled.

"Yep. Except this time I'm going to win!" I said confidently, my heart rate once again accelerating as adrenaline started to pump through my system. Roxanne slowly stood up and took her position on her end of the arena.

"Alright then. Bring it on!" she exclaimed as I took my position on the challengers end of the arena, Jace, Latias, and Gardevoir sitting on the benches set around the room for people to observe Gym challenges. "Geodude, come on out!" she yelled as she threw a Pokéball, the red burst of energy coalescing into the form of her Geodude, and it let out a loud "Geo!" as it cracked it's knuckles. "Which Pokémon will you choose?" she asked me curiously, seeing I had made no move to any of my own Pokéballs.

"I choose... Myself." I said calmly as I walked out of the challengers spot, onto the arena floor. Her Geodude looked back at her in confusion, and she laughed at me.

"You can't choose yourself! You're not a... Pokémon..." her voice trailed off as her Geodude was sent flying by a powerful Shadow Ball attack that blasted out of my right palm, her eyes widening in shock as her Geodude got back up.

"If you like, I can finish the battle in my human form, or I can show you my true form." I said as I returned my hand to my side, and she just looked a little skeptical.

"Okay, jokes over Ian. You can stop now." she said, and I shook my head and laughed.

"No it's not. Go ahead Roxanne: tell your Geodude to attack me." I urged her, and she looked conflicted for a moment before she sighed heavily.

"Have it your way. If you want to pretend to be a Pokémon, so be it. Geodude, Rock Throw!" she exclaimed, and her Geodude let out a cry as it picked up one of the numerous boulders littered around the arena and threw it at me. I waited just a moment too long to dodge, and the boulder clipped my right arm, leaving a mild scrape and spinning me around as I gritted my teeth to keep any pain out of the bond. "Now Tackle attack!" Roxanne yelled, and her Geodude started to roll towards me at a rapid pace. I waited for just the right moment, then jumped out of the way, spinning and thrusting my right palm forward, not really using a move this time; I simply unleashed psychic energy on the Geodude and sent it flying into the wall, stunning it momentarily.

"I told you it wasn't a joke." I laughed slightly as I prepared my next attack. Concentrating hard, I bowed my head and closed my eyes as the air around me became frigid, my breath fogging in the air with each exhalation. Looking back up, I snapped both of my palms forward towards the stunned Geodude, sending and Ice Beam attack at it.

"Geodude! Dodge!" Roxanne yelled at it, and the stunned Rock-type looked up just in time to see the attack before it was hit and frozen solid. Looking back up at Roxanne, she had to concede that her Geodude was unable to battle, and recalled it back into it's Pokéball. I finally took pity on her and let my form shimmer and change, becoming my true form and making her gape in astonishment. "I... I never thought I would see a Legendary... Let alone one that was a Pokémon Trainer. I knew the rules permitted it, but I never thought it would actually happen..." she gasped, and I smiled.

Are we going to finish our battle, Roxanne? I said, and she jumped slightly before regaining her composure.

"Yes, of course. Nosepass, go!" she exclaimed, tossing another Pokéball and releasing her Nosepass, which made no sound whatsoever as it stayed pretty much motionless. "Use Magnitude!" she said, and I grinned to myself as she realized her mistake a moment too late. As the ground began to shake violently, I smiled at her.

I float, remember? Ground-type moves don't hit me. I said, and bent my head in concentration as I gathered sunlight in preparation for a full-powered Solarbeam that would hopefully end the battle in one go. Once my body stared to glow from all the sunlight it had absorbed, I released all of it in one high-powered beam. The devastating attack slammed into the Nosepass, which had no chance whatsoever of dodging it. It was shoved across the room and into a wall, almost in the exact same spot as the Geodude had been.

I stared in surprise as I watched it; it seemed a little worse for wear, but it was definitely not out of the fight. Roxanne grinned at me as she pointed.

"Rock Tomb, Nosepass!" she said, and I was suddenly surrounded by rocks on all sides that crushed inwards, molding together and sealing me inside and almost crushing me. Still gritting my teeth to keep the pain from transferring across to Latias, I unleashed more psychic energy in a blast that shattered the rocky tomb into dust. As I emerged from the dust coughing, I looked up to see Roxanne smiling in delight. "Again, Nosepass!" she cried, and I quickly shot away from the spot just as it was smashed by more rocks. Flying swiftly, I charged the Nosepass and used Dragon Claw to throw it high into the air, chasing after it and unleashing more psychic power, flinging it down into the floor and quickly following up with an Ice Beam.

As the dust cleared, it was obvious that the Nosepass was completely unconscious, and I slowly flew back down to the floor, shifting back to my human form and panting heavily.

Damn, I really need to train as a Pokémon. I thought to myself as Roxanne recalled her Nosepass. I can't be getting this tired after every single minor fight.

"Ian Moone, I congratulate you. You have beaten me and have earned the Hoenn League Stone Badge." Roxanne intoned formally as she walked up and handed me a badge and shook my hand.

"Thank you, Roxanne. There's something I would like to ask of you though." I said, and she tilted her head questioningly. I quickly explained to her about the Arvel Revenant, and asked her help in defeating it when the time came.

"This is grave news indeed... I will send word to the other Gym Leaders, and to the Elite Four and Champion. They will be expecting you, Ian. They will also allow you to challenge them yourself, as a Pokémon. Be warned: they will not go easy on you just because you were once human. Rest assured; when the time comes, we will all stand by your side." she said gravely, and I smiled and saluted her one last time.

"Thank you Roxanne. I'll be seeing you." I said as I turned and walked out of the Gym, Jace, Gardevoir, and Latias following close behind. As I stood there, the cool evening breeze ruffling through my hair as the light of day gave way to the dark of night, a grim half-smile tugged on the corners of my lips.

I had taken the first step to defeating the Revenant.
