Continued from "Beneath the wandering moonlight..."

Dawn's light filtered through the branches of the nearby trees slowly, illuminating us as we sat together beside the dimly glowing coals of the fire. Julianna was still asleep, leaning against me with my arms around her. I watched her, envious of the rest that she got. I still couldn't believe what had happened last night. She felt the same way about me that I felt about her. Even knowing what I was, she still liked me, maybe even loved me. I smiled as she stirred slightly, a golden shaft of sunlight lighting upon her as she sat there. She opened her eyes slowly, and finding that I still held her, she smiled, returning my embrace.

"Good morning Galen." She said, planting a kiss on my lips. I returned her kiss and she let go of me. I released her as well and she sat back up, stretching the kinks out of her back.

"How did you sleep?" I asked, keeping one hand on her back as she stretched and stroking her gently with my fingertips.

"Very well." She replied and I nodded. I saw her shiver when my fingers passed up her back and I grinned to myself. There was silence between us for few moments, then I spoke again.

"Well, I suppose we should be getting on with our journey." I stated and she smiled at me kindly.

"There is no hurry." She said. "I will get back to Gulnia and my father fast enough without us hurrying along."

"This is true, I suppose." I said and her smile returned full force. In all reality, we should have kept going at our pace to reach her home, but neither of us desired a quick end to this journey.

As such, it was almost noon before we finally got started, and when we walked along on the path, our pace was more of a stroll than a hike. We were certainly in no hurry to get where we were going. As we walked, we talked about the wilds and the places I had been. She seemed to have a great curiosity about my wanderings, and she wanted to know everything about where I had been and what I had done. About mid afternoon, when I was in the middle of a tale about facing down a pack of demons in the frozen fells of the north, I felt a sudden feeling of foreboding within my heart. I stopped in mid step and fell silent, looking around and testing the wind with my nose. Even though I was in my human form in the sunlight, some of the werewolves' keen senses slipped through.

"What is it?" Julianna asked, her hand on the dagger I had lent to her.

"I'm not sure." I replied, still scanning the surrounding forest land. "Something feels wrong."

We were both silent for a long time, two pairs of eyes searching the wilderness. But I saw, heard and scented nothing out of the ordinary, nothing that could cause the feeling. I was tempted to take the cross off my neck and then use my transformed self to make a final search, but something warned me against doing that. If the feeling I had was the presence of a demonic being, taking off the cross would only serve to open myself to it.

"Perhaps it is nothing." I said, still scanning the forest with my eyes.

"I doubt it is nothing." The princess replied, looking around warily. "Your senses have never been wrong before. Could it be an invisible demon?"

"Perhaps," I stated, feeling the strange sensation fading away. "It is fading now, whatever it was. I have never felt the feeling before and I have fought things that are invisible in the past. Come, the edge of this forest is not far now. I will feel better when we are beyond its edge."

Julianna nodded and I led the way forward once more. Finally, as the sun was just beginning to set, we came out into a vast open space. It was a strange phenomenon, a huge bowl of plains land between two spurs of tree clad mountains. It was open to the sky and filled with wild grass and scrub brush. A few trees dotted the plain here and there, but they were few and far between. From where we stood on its edge, the distant mountains that formed its eastward border were just visible as a dark haze on the horizon, at least a full day's march away.

"We should camp here tonight." I said, looking about us. "I would feel too exposed out in the plain."

"I agree." Julianna said and we set up camp beneath the last edge of the trees, within a thicket that would hide the light of the fire. The feeling of foreboding, though it had not returned, was still fresh on my mind and I felt even more cautious than usual. I transformed in silence when the sun went down fully, more than my pride at stake with making noise. We ate a quiet meal with both of us keeping a close watch on our surroundings. We did not talk, for both of us felt the strange sensation of something waiting just out of sight, stalking us. When it grew late enough, Julianna gave me a kiss goodnight and lay down at my side, while I sat with my back to the fire, keeping my night sight as sharp as I could.

The darkness seemed to be closing in around us and I was tempted to throw my last sacred branch on the fire, but I held off. If something was really out there, stalking us, then making the fire that bright would serve only as a beacon to it. And if it wasn't, then I would have wasted something very precious. So instead, I sat watching, my sword naked in my hand, gazing out at the silent forest...

***

By the time the shadows were banished by the creeping sunlight, the feeling of eminent danger had gone. The night had passed in silence, without incident. I got up in silence in the grey mists that precluded the dawn and walked around the camp's edge, searching for any sign that enemies were about. I could find none and when the sun came into the sky once more and my body returned to human, I felt somewhat better. The feeling had turned out to be nothing. Coming back into the camp and sheathing my blade, I knelt by Julianna. She woke up to my gentle urging and opened her eyes. I left her side to get our supplies for breakfast. But this morning held a surprise after all. When she came over to my side and sat down to eat, I couldn't help but notice that the pink tinge in her cheeks had returned. I had barely taken a bite of my breakfast when I felt her hand on my knee. She stroked her hand gently up my thigh and I felt stirrings of another old feeling, but one that was much more dangerous. I quietly caught her hand in mine before it could go too far up and I held it.

Julianna held my hand in return, giving no sign that she had noticed that I had stopped her stroking. The tinge was still there when she leaned in, giving me a kiss that was full of passion, before starting on her breakfast. My rational mind was getting worried now. It wasn't that she wasn't attractive to me. Far from it; I found her to be very pretty and she had long ago kindled my desire. No, it wasn't that. It was that my human instincts were telling me that it was a very bad thing to allow that to happen. In social concerns alone, it was an impossibility. I shook my head, snapping the thread of thought. Today wasn't the day that I should be thinking about that. When we got to her home and I had to leave her for good, then I would think about it.

When we had finished breakfast and scattered the ashes of the fire, we walked from the woods and out into the open sunlight of the bowl. When we came out into the sunshine, Julianna smiled and drew in a deep breath. She reached out and took my hand, leading me slowly through the grass. I allowed myself to be led, looking around warily. I disliked being out in the open like this, because years of experience had told me that it was far safer beneath the trees. Every silhouette of a bird soaring high was suspicious to me, as anyone could be a winged demon. Julianna obviously did not share my dislike. She strolled along unconcerned, smiling around as she walked. About a mile into the field, she noticed how tense I was and she turned back at last to talk to me.

"What is the matter?" She asked, her smile faltering as she placed her other hand on my arm. "Is it the demons?"

"No." I replied, patting her hand. "I don't like being out in the open. I don't feel safe out here."

"I see." She said, a smile creeping back into her cheeks. "Well, I feel safe just knowing that you are with me. This place reminds me of the fields near my home. I used to wander through them when I was little. I miss those days."

"I will be alright." I said, nodding in acknowledgment of the compliment she had paid me.

She turned back and we continued on walking. We took it slow, our hands clasped, and as the morning wore on, and the sun warmed me, I began to relax. I was still unsettled, but I didn't feel as suspicious as I did. We chatted while we walked through the plain, taking our time to cross the open ground. At the pace we were traveling, it would take two days to get across, but all things considered, I didn't care. Just being in the company of a close friend again made me feel happier than I had in years and I didn't want it to end. By the time the light of the sun turned into gold with its descent below the rim of the world, we were in the middle of the plain and we stopped to make camp. Julianna lay out her bed roll on the ground, but I made no move to gather things for a fire and she looked questioningly at me.

"We cannot risk a fire tonight." I said, clearing a space of brambles to use to transform. "Even if I cannot sense any near to us, any foe could see the light from anywhere around the edge of the bowl or in it. I do not relish the prospect of a fight here."

"That makes sense." She said, and looked around, a mischievous smile crossing her lips. "I guess I will just have to sleep in your arms tonight."

"I guess so." I said, my tone not at all disappointed and she smiled wider. I didn't notice at the time because the golden light covered it so well, but the tinge was in her cheeks once more. Perhaps that would have given me pause, but I was distracted by the rising of the moon. It was half full, which meant that I had a week before the full moon. The curse was already tingling in my flesh and it was growing worse every night as the full moon approached, as it always did. I knelt in the cleared space, waiting for the familiar pain. I closed my eyes, preparing for it to hit me. But the first thing I felt wasn't the spike of pain, it was the feeling of a hand on my back, between my shoulders, small and warm. The pain hit me a moment later, surging from everywhere at once, filling my body. I shuddered, gritting my teeth and making no noise, though a howl threatened from within. I fought hard against it and shuddered again as a new wave of pain spread through me. I could feel my bones suddenly shift, beginning to realign. My flesh was swelling, muscles growing and tightening. And more pain suddenly washed over me as my skin split, revealing grey fur to the open night's sky. And through it all, the princess' hand rested on my back. I latched onto the feeling, and rode out the last of the transformation. At last, I drew in a breath of the night air and sat back up.

"Thank you." I said and she put her arms around me.

"Of course." She replied and we sat together for a while. After a few more minutes, her hand again rested on my arm, her touch making me shiver. I knew why it did so, and it was an effort to think about anything but how much I desired her. She must have sensed what her touch had done, for she moved closer. "Your transformations look like they are getting more painful."

"They are." I stated, watching her hands carefully, taking care to watch where they were going. "They always get worse when the full moon is coming."

"You know, I have never understood why the full moon causes the wolves to change." She stated, edging still closer to me. Her warm side was now pressing against mine.

"The moon is said to be the dark twin of the sun." I stated, still keeping watch on her. "Legends say that the five legendary demons, the foes of Auré, were once gods themselves, until they angered him. His eye, the sun, keeps watch on our world during the day, and when he cast out the demons from the realm of the gods, they created the moon to watch their servants during the night, when their power was greater. It is said that when Auré found out what they had done, he was furious and in his wroth, he cast a web of magic on the moon, so that their power would wax and wane with the light of the moon." I felt her touch trailing down my arm and I decided that that was safe enough. "Whatever is the truth, it is known that under the pale light of the full moon, their power is greatest on this world. The Slayers believe that the moon is like a mirror for the sun. While the sunlight strengthens us, the darkly mirrored light of the moon strengthens theirs. We may never know for sure why it happens."

"Galen, I want you to know something." She said, leaning into me, her head coming near me. As I sat there, looking into her eyes, I realized for the first time how deep and beautiful those eyes were. They were nut brown, as pretty as any I had ever seen. I was also almost painfully aware that with myself losing my clothes to the transformation, I was naked in her company except for my cloak. "I think I am falling in love with you."

"I think that I am falling for you as well." I said, my concentration beginning to slip with her closeness.

"You make me feel so wonderful," She said, tears welling up in her luminous eyes. "You treat me as if I am not royalty, but just a normal woman. I have had bodyguards all my life, who are willing to give their lives for me because my father pays them to do it. But you are willing to give your life for me because you care for me. I might never get another chance to tell you, so I wanted you to know..." Her voice trailed off and she looked down, tears falling unchecked from her eyes. I was so moved by this display of emotion that I let down my guard for a few brief moments. I put a hand to her face and wiped away the tears. She looked up and in that moment, I was trapped in the deep brown wells that were her eyes, drowning in their depths. I couldn't help it now; we moved together and kissed as we had that first night, passion flaring between us as my arms wrapped around her lithe body.

I had never known anyone like her. Our feelings came only from barely a week of knowing each other, and yet, I felt more deeply for her than I had ever felt for anyone, Carrie included. Her kiss was sweeter than sweet; her touch like a strike of lightning that ignites a blazing inferno. She was so beautiful, brown haired and with pale skin the color of pure cream. I was smitten, lost within her, and I did not care. One of her hands drew me closer, into more of her kisses, the other had left my arm and was now trailing slowly up my thigh. I shivered and shuddered with the feeling of her warm fingers combing through fur that was rarely touched. The feeling was sending a warm, exciting tingle of electricity through me and I could feel my body becoming excited. We stopped kissing for a moment and she spoke into my ear, her voice suddenly turning exotic and seductive.

"So tell me Galen," She began, her searching fingers probing further up my leg, coming awfully close to the crux of my legs. "Are there any...changes...that come with the transformation?"

And with that, her fingers touched between my legs. I couldn't speak, for a fierce need was filling me, a need buried so deep that I hadn't thought it still existed within me. I felt myself grow at her touch, and her hand encircled my shaft, exploring it gently. As it turned out, there had been a change, several in fact. It had grown longer and wider than it had been before the transformation. It also had a bulge at its base that was slowly swelling wider as she touched it. She was kissing me again, more and more passionately as she became steadily more aroused. My rational mind was rapidly succumbing to something more primitive, something that didn't just want her, it needed her, hungered for her. It wanted to feel her naked body pressing against my own. It wanted to take her as my mate. And it wanted something else as well. It wanted to taste her, to caress her flesh with its jaws and to bite down...

In a split second, as she was undoing the belt that held her traveling tunic tight to her body, my rational mind rebelled, fighting powerfully against the primitive thing inside. And then it came to me what that thing was. It wasn't a long hidden part of my mind as I had first thought. No, it was the presence of my cursed self. It was the werewolf within me. With great effort, I wrenched control back, the fire of my will and my pure soul beating the creature back, subduing it to my will once more. With an effort, I stopped kissing her and pushed her back from me. She looked at me with surprise and I spoke.

"I am sorry, but I cannot do this." I said and she looked at me with a hurt expression. "Please understand, I care for you so much, and it is for that reason that I cannot continue this."

"I don't understand." She said. She was so aroused she was panting and I wanted nothing more than to give her what she wanted, but I held myself in check.

"Just because the curse does not rule me, it does not mean I am without its influence." I stated, shifting her so she was no longer sitting perched on my leg, as she had been a moment before. "Just now, the curse almost broke free from my control. I cannot risk letting it go. If it escaped my control, if I abandoned myself to it, there is no telling what I might do. I might hurt you, or worse, I might bite you. I still posses the venom of my kind, I am still a danger. I do not know if the freedom from the curse that I have will follow a bite from my jaws and I cannot take that risk, especially not with the one I love."

"I think I understand now." She stated, sitting back on the ground morosely and reclasping her belt.

"Besides, you are a princess, as much as you don't want to be one. I am just a Slayer, a demon hunter. Worse, I am a monster." I stated, bitter tears coming into my eyes as I spoke the words. This was almost more painful than my nightly transformations. "Even if I wasn't, there could be no future for us. You are promised to another man, and you must remain unsullied if you are to marry him. I am sorry to cause you this pain, and believe me, I wish it were otherwise, but it must be this way."

"I know." She said, sighing. "As much as I wish and dream it was otherwise, you are right. Will you at least hold me while I sleep; will you be my shield from the chill of the night and the nightmares, my love?"

"I will." I said and we lay down together, blankets laid over us. I put my arms around her and she snuggled close to me. I relished the heat of her soft body beside me as she nodded off. When she was asleep, one leg thrown over my body, I stared up at the sky and I felt suddenly weary. I recognized the feeling. I had felt it increasingly often in recent years. I was weary of constant battle. I was weary of living with my curse. Bone tired, I lay back, looking at the woman I held, the woman I had grown to love. She looked so peaceful that I smiled. A feeling of profound peace settled into my own heart like a blanket, and the wary instinct that I had lived with for a score of years grew muddled. I yawned suddenly, drawing heavily on the cool air of the night, filled with the scent of wild grass and brush. It was soft and warm beneath the blankets, and so very comfortable. The world began to grow dim, and for the first time in many, many years, I drifted off into slumber...

***

It was a feeling of shifting flesh, of a body returning to normal out of a curse, that dragged me reluctantly from the realm of dreams in which I lay. I came only reluctantly back to consciousness, wanting and yearning for nothing more than a few more precious minutes of oblivion. But, I found my eyes opening to for once unwelcome sunlight. It was intolerably bright and for a moment, I shut my eyes once more. And then, they snapped open wide, despite the bright sun. For the first time since I was cursed, I had woken from sleep. I had actually slept.

I looked about me wildly for a moment, until my gaze settled on Julianna, who lay still against me, her body pressing to mine. She was still asleep and I smiled, closing my eyes and laying my head back down. This was one memory I was always going to cherish, no matter what happened in the coming years. All I wanted in that instant was to have this moment never end. I gently rubbed my hand on her back, sighing as my fur faded away and my body changed shape, shrinking down slowly back to its normal size. My bones fell back to where they had been when I was born, returning me to my human shape. But for once, I didn't really care what shape I was in, for the woman I loved didn't care either.

Julianna woke up when she felt my clothes reform between us, but she didn't move past raising her head a little before returning it to my chest, her eyes closing back into an expression of contentment. I smiled, and settled back, feeling her slowly brush my skin with her fingers. I doubted very much that we would make it far today, but then, what did it matter?

***

All the next day, we had walked, passing out of the open space and back into the tree covered mountains. That had been at my insistence, for I felt uneasy all the time we were exposed on the plain. But once we were back in the mountains, our pace slowed down to a crawl again. While we were here, together in the wilderness, she and I could pretend that we were just wandering aimlessly in each other's company, instead of heading to a place she didn't want to go. We could pretend that she was simply a woman, one of the few female Slayers and that we had nothing more important to do then wander with each other. I knew we were heading to a place where she would be forced to marry a man she had never even met. Just thinking about it made me bristle at its injustice, but I could do nothing to change it. Slayers were forbidden from meddling in the affairs of kingdoms, unless they were influenced by demonic powers. As much as I wanted it to be, this wasn't demonic; it was stupid, but unfortunately human. But I didn't think about it often.

We strolled during the day, but when night fell, and I assumed my werewolf form, we often lay cuddled up beside the fire, Julianna sleeping while I watched. I did not fall asleep again, though I desired it very much. But neither did I despair any longer. I was content with my life and my spirits were higher than they had been for years. But there was still a danger out here, and it came not from outside, but from within. We both desired each other very much, and it was that desire that was so dangerous. Neither of us made much mention of it as we walked, but the tension was there, like a dark cloud brooding on the horizon. But I had greater concerns than that. The full moon was coming soon, a very bad time of month for me. It was the time that I was most vulnerable, and when the curse had the greatest control over me. It was also the most traumatic transformation of them all. But I didn't see what we could do about it.

Despite our slow pace, by the time the night of the full moon arrived, we were on the last ridge of hills overlooking the plains that made up the land of Gulnia, framed as it was by mountain ranges. We decided to stop for the night below the ridge top, hidden still behind the rise from prying eyes. I had not eaten anything all day in preparation for the night and my companion had started looking worried.

"Julianna." I said when we had set up camp fully. She looked up at me and I spoke again, keeping my eyes downward. "Tonight, I must go alone to transform."

"Why?" She asked, surprised. For the last few nights, she had always been there, lending me comfort by her presence.

"In the full moon, the curse is at its worst." I said, already shivering from the memories. The sky was golden above me and soon it would light with bright orange and red, and my curse would fall upon me. "It is its most horrific tonight, and I would spare you the sight if I can. Please, stay here."

She nodded and I got to my feet, walking out of the camp and up the slope of the hill. I passed a tall rock formation and then carefully removed my weapons, laying them on a rock near the crest of the hill, but well out of reach. Only the top half of the sun was visible now, and I knew I had only a few moments to wait. I did not kneel, more out of defiance than anything else, knowing what was coming. I would end up on my knees eventually anyway, and if I were very lucky, that was as far down as I would go. I watched the sun go down and braced for the coming storm.

The moment the last tiny sliver of light vanished from the world, it came. The pain was like a thousand tiny needles, stabbing me everywhere. The needles of pain felt as if they were growing larger with each passing second, until it felt like my flesh was being stabbed with knives. Already the pain was agony, more painful than a transformation of any other night. I gritted my teeth against it and then it happened. As if a dam had broken, a surge of pain washed through me. It was so intense that I lurched forward onto my knees, retching. The transformation had only barely begun, and I was in terrible pain. I retched again, but I had nothing in my belly to bring up. Amid another wave of pain, I suddenly felt a new sensation. My body was growing, but it seemed that while it grew, it shattered my bones, leaving only white hot splinters behind. I was shuddering continuously, my blood pounding. My body contorted and I let out a cry of terrible pain, the contortions the transformation put my body through each bringing a dozen new waves of agony. I could not see for the pain.

To say it was terrible was far short of the mark. There was no word in any language known to any creature to describe how great the pain was. My whole world, my whole existence, was pain. It was so terrible that all I wanted to do was die, which was why I had laid my weapons out of reach. There was no telling what might happen if I got a hold of a weapon during this. Tears ran unchecked down my cheeks, even as fur began to grow there. And then, with a rippling pop of pain up my spine, my skin burst along my hunched back and I was suddenly growing. I screamed into the night air a cry of terrible agony that halfway through became a howl, deep and throaty. The pain was even worse as my body swelled, growing large, as large as I had been when I had transformed in the presence of Redamarc. I clutched at my head with my hands, squeezing tight as I changed, terrible pain all through my body. And with it was knowledge. I knew I was the plaything of the demons and they took delight in inflicting horrific pain on me while I knelt there, helpless and unable to move. I was at their mercy and I knew it and that was SO much worse than the pain itself.

Finally, as the last of the transformation came, my tail growing from my spine, my body was fully that of a werewolf. I uncurled from the ball I had been locked in by the pain. And then, though I wanted to defy them and remain silent, I let out an involuntary moan as an aftershock of pain washed through me. I fell to the side, momentarily exhausted from the pain. I lay there for a few moments, shivering and twitching as my body tried to put itself back together after the world of pain I had just passed through.

I squeezed my eyes shut against the bitter and painful tears that were still falling from my eyes, hoping to stop their flow. Then, I gasped, for something warm and soft had touched my exposed side. The touch brought a peace with it, like a soothing balm on a burn. The feeling spread and I opened blurred eyes to see Julianna kneeling beside me, a hand on my side. Her face was paler than usual and from the look on her face, I knew she had watched, against my cautioning words.

"I tried to tell you." I said, looking at her with pity. My voice was weak from the transformation, but I did not have the strength at that moment to force it into line. "I tried to warn you."

"I know, but I had to see it." She said. "I had to know what it was like. It must be terrible." I coughed, managing to haul my tortured body back upright. "Are you okay?"

"No." I replied, my whole body shaking as I lay back into a more comfortable position, lying on my back on the cool grass of the hilltop, my flesh sensitized to any sensation by the pain. "But I will be. I have to rest now, for a little while."

"Then I will lie with you." She said and lay down beside me, putting her arms carefully around me so as not to cause me more pain.

I returned her embrace slowly, my limbs not wanting to move. Julianna began to comb her fingers through my fur and I felt the pleasure from it so much more clearly than I had before. She did it slowly, gently, insuring that she didn't cause me pain. The fact that she took so much care for me got through my emotional armor, which lay in ruins in the wake of my transformation. My heart began to ache for her. All the things that I worried about for her came back to me. She had never known the experience of being courted, because she had been cloistered away from people all her life, training to be a good wife for a prince. She was being taken from the one place she had been at peace so she could be married to a man she had never met. And the one person she had loved could not give her what she wanted. I felt tears come to my eyes and I pulled her closer to me, holding her to me tightly despite the pain that it brought. I wished that I could give her all that she desired. But I was trapped. I was a Slayer, so I could not interfere with her life, and I was a werewolf, so I could not even give her the love she desired. And then, as my pain faded, I felt something come into my mind.

It was the certainty of one willing to give all and abandon all for the one that he loves. The werewolf inside me was howling, thrashing about in my mind as it tried to break through my suddenly strengthened will, but it howled in vain. Even though it was the full moon, even though it should have been almost breaking through my will in the moonlight, the shackles that held it were stronger than they had ever been, even on the nights of the new moon. And then, as Julianna looked up at me and I smiled at her, I knew that a will that was stronger than mine, and perhaps stronger than anything that walked this world, had lent its strength to me that night. I would give her what she wanted this night, whatever happened afterward.

"I love you Galen." Julianna said, holding me close.

"And I you Julianna." I replied and we kissed, tongues twining between our mouths. We kissed more and I found my body suddenly becoming excited with the thought of what I was going to do. We broke off our kiss once more and I gazed into her brown eyes. And within them, I saw the same certainty mirrored in her eyes that was in my heart. She knew, somehow, what I had decided. She rose up from where we had been laying so she was kneeling and unbuckled the belt that held her tunic closed. When the belt had fallen free, I reached up slowly and slid a hand under the tunic's edge, rubbing my hand up her smooth back. She shivered with delight as my fur tickled her and then reached down, pulling her tunic off completely, revealing creamy white skin to the full moon. She was slim and every bit as beautiful as imagination could make her. Using both hands, I reached up and caressed her torso, starting with her back and ending with her hips. With every pass of my fur covered hand, she shivered, goose bumps raising on her skin. She reciprocated the gesture and I shivered as well. We were soon kissing passionately while we stroked each other's flesh.

It wasn't long until her traveling trousers joined the pile of cloth that her tunic had begun and we were naked together. I let my hands wander where they wanted, exploring her gently, rubbing her legs and rear. With the transformation, I was almost twice as large as she was, but neither of us cared. And all the time, my hands drifted closer and closer to her exposed privates, slowly driving her further into arousal. At about the same moment that my fingers found their way to between her legs, her own searching fingers encircled my rapidly hardening shaft once more. I had grown even more since that night a week ago and she couldn't seem to take her eyes off it. Her very touch was incredibly exciting and I could feel my blood pounding hard throughout my body as it tried to make up for the sudden concentration between my legs. For a few minutes, we lay together in the cool grass of the mountaintop, stroking each other gently, then she made the next move. Without saying a word, she gave me another passionate kiss then straddled my waist, positioning herself upright, poised above my member. With one hand she held it in position, then very slowly sank onto it. The moment my tip touched her moist skin and parted her labia, pleasure was surging into my body. The painful transformation had made my body sensitive and so long spent alone in the wild had made me a tad overeager for this.

For a moment, she sat still, her vagina holding my member upright, then she began to move down once more. Her slow movement downward, drawing more of me into her, was making me crazy. She was so tight that I let out a groan when she sank below the level of the head. I wanted very much to throw myself upward, forcing all of me into her at once, but I refused to give in. This was her show, not mine. I would not hurt her if I could help it. She sank lower and lower, her brow knitted in concentration until I could go no further, having hit the barrier of her hymen. She looked like she was in pain, but before I could do or say anything, she lifted herself up with her legs and threw herself down with great force, breaking the barrier in one thrust and driving me into her up to my knot, the bulge stopping her. She let out a gasp of mixed pain and pleasure and she held still. Her eyes closed and her head lowered, while she bit her lip while she adjusted. When she looked up once more, her eyes were wild with desire and she began to build a slow rhythm, lifting herself and then pushing back down, riding me slowly.

I was in heaven, lost to myself and the sensations she was sending through me. The sensation of her tight walls sliding up and down my cock was driving me wild with pleasure. I stared into her brown eyes and I knew it was the same for her. This was better than any sex I had ever had before; far more pleasurable, and my climax was still far off. Julianna was gasping with every thrust down and I began to thrust back up into her, making her gasp louder. We probably should have been keeping a closer watch on our environment, but for all we cared, the demons could come and kill us, as long as they let us finish first. She began to speed up with every thrust and I did the same, my hands on the tops of her legs. I could feel the pressure building swiftly in my loins and I resisted it for a while, wanting to make the moment last longer. Finally, I groaned as I felt myself poised on the edge of the climax. I wanted it badly, but part of the werewolf instinct got through into me, or perhaps it was just me wanting to know what it felt like, but I wanted to get my knot inside her. When she rose up again, I grabbed her legs in my hands and pulled down while I thrust upward with my hips as hard as I could. I timed it perfectly with her downward thrust and for a moment, we strained together, the knot beginning to stretch her. Her eyes watered and she bit her lip again, and then with a pop, the knot shot inside.

The pleasure was immense and I couldn't hold on anymore. With a howl, I came, the spurts of seed shooting into her with great force. It couldn't go anywhere but up with my knot inside her and she suddenly came as well, not more than a moment after me as my seed washed into her womb. And her cry of passion equaled my howl, forming a chorus of pleasure and fulfillment that rang in the hills about us. Both our bodies were shuddering, the pleasure overwhelming every sense. I squeezed my eyes hard shut as a new wave of pleasure washed into me. The feeling was so intense that my fingers were tingling, feeling as though they had fallen asleep. And then, the waves began to die and I released her. For a few moments, her body shuddered through the waves of pleasure that flowed through the both of us and then, with a strange slow motion, she slumped forward onto my chest, her chest heaving with exertion, but her eyes filled with nothing but bliss. All the pain of the night seemed like nothing more than a bad dream, fading into memory.

I put my arms around her, ignoring the sweat that covered her body and held her close. She smiled contently and returned my embrace. For a few minutes, we cuddled, still tied together by my knot. Then, when we had managed to regain enough strength to move, she lifted herself up, popping my flesh free and rising off of it. Once I was free from her, she slumped back so she was pillowed on my broad chest, nestling into my fur. I put my arms around her once more and she closed her eyes. It wasn't long until her breathing became deep and slow and I knew she was asleep. I lay back comfortably, looking up at the moon and stars. And for the first time in a long time, I smiled at the full moon's light and closed my eyes, feeling myself drifting away and for the second time in a week, I slept, not caring that the moon was full and the werewolf howled inside...
