Friendly Skies
#14 of Yogoloth's Chronicles
While Yogoloth waits for winter, he gets to know the area around Stone Haven a little better. And there is one gryphon who he also get's to know a little better too.
Part 1
The horizon glowed fiercely with the promise of an unsettled day to come. Whenever the great dragons of the east lit up the morning sky with their fiery breath, the elements would often restore the balance that same day. It wasn't guaranteed of course, the powers that be were fickle, but even if it did rain today, Yogoloth wouldn't care. He actually quite liked the feel of rain on his leathery green hide.
The dragon/gryphon hybrid had become very familiar with the area around Stone Haven over the last few weeks. He had scouted out the other various civilised settlements, the places that he had to avoid as much as possible. The best places in the forests to hunt, the isolated farms that he could easily steal the odd pig from, all in all, the area was strangely familiar. Although that was probably because he was also no more than a couple of weeks flight from the lair that he was hatched and raised in.
He would have to wait until autumn before heading there, just in time to catch winter's first snow fall. The timing was as important, as was every other part of this plan. Too soon and it wouldn't work at all, too late and range became a problem which might cause it to fail as well. At least this gave him the rest of spring, summer and a little of autumn to relax and get to know the area better.
A large toothy grin grew on Yogoloth's snout as the first rays of sun began to flow across the land. From his vantage point on his rocky cliff, he got to see the land come alive as a ruddy, golden light began to bathe the rocks and trees. It had quickly become one of his favourite places to sleep, a fair hunting territory with a wonderful view, far away from the prying eyes of the civilised races and yet still only a few hours flight from Stone Haven.
Earlier, he had been woken, just as the morning's sky began to brighten, by the familiar feel of magic tingling at the back of his mind. Although gryphons, and even the other civilised races, could become skilled in the use of magic, they would always have to consciously choose to sense for it. Dragons seemed to have a fairly effective extra sense that alerted them to magic nearby when they were distracted, or even asleep. They would still then have to reach out and study it in more detail though.
The drowsy green and brown dragon had come to his senses just quickly enough to reach out and identify the magic before it unravelled. Someone had formed a simple trace shape and was probably heading his way now. Yogoloth had only shared his signature with five people throughout his life, and because a shared signature could not be shared again, the list of suspects was quite short. It had to be Natanii. He hoped it was Natanii.
Although Yogoloth had no way of knowing how far away she was when she formed the shape, the gryphoness would no doubt need to form another as she got closer to get a more accurate idea of where he was. But until then, the feathery winged hybrid could enjoy the sunrise and watch the world come alive.
The time passed quickly, as it normally did for dragons. As a solitary species, that lived for hundreds of years, it was easy to just watch the hours, days, months, even years go by. Yogoloth's mind set was thankfully just the same as a true dragon and he could measure in breaths the hours it took for that second subtle magical shape to enter his perception. Natanii was probably minutes away, so the hybrid stretched out his own senses and watched for the telltale signs of a magically adept gryphon soaring in the skies as he relaxed. He settled his head on a particularly mossy rock and closed his eyes.
Natanii was a fine flier and touched down a few minutes later a fair distance behind the apparently snoozing dragon. Judging a landing so accurately to not require any noisy wing beats and touching ground so silently that the keen ears of a dragon couldn't detect it, was quite a feat. But Yogoloth already had his senses stretched out and felt Natanii carefully approach. It took all his willpower to keep his ears from seeking her out, but he managed to do so as the gryphoness edged closer. Suddenly the hybrid jumped up, quickly span round and roared loudly.
"Aaah!", Natanii cried out in surprise and involuntarily backed away a step. She quickly caught her breath and playfully swatted Yogoloth on the snout with a talon. "Don't do that! You nearly scared me half to death."
"And exactly what were you planning, sneaking up on a sleeping dragon like that? To wake me up with a gentle snuggle?", the dragon playfully retorted as he gave the soft hide between his nostrils an exaggerated rub with a fore paw.
"Oh please, I barely touched you. You're such a hatching at times."
"I'm older than you, so you should give me respect instead of surprising me or hitting me on the snout.", Yogoloth feigned offence. Natanii smiled, moved forward a couple of steps and nuzzled the hybrid's furry brown mane with her beak. He had missed her touch over the last couple of weeks, it had been too long.
"I am sorry, Elder. Are you going to punish me?", the gryphoness said smoothly. As she pulled back to look into the hybrid's eyes, he seemed a little puzzled.
"Punish you? No, why would I do that?", he said, clearly a little confused. Natanii suddenly laughed and Yogoloth realised he'd missed something as he sometimes did when talking to the gryphoness.
"Oh, Yogoloth, you do make me laugh. I assume that's not really a dragon thing. I was implying that you might want to take me roughly or tease me, as a pretend punishment."
Yogoloth's eyes widened a little as they often did when Natanii talked so frankly about sex. Not that dragons were prudes, he had spoken with his mother openly many times about such things. But they were mother and hatching, there was nothing that they couldn't share. Half gryphon he may be, but the hybrid was rapidly finding out just how differently dragons and gryphons thought about a great many things.
"I think I understand.", he finally replied as he settled down onto his side and spread his hind legs out along the patchy scrub that covered the rocky ground. Natanii smirked and also settled down on her side with her back to Yogoloth's belly scutes. He nuzzled her furry neck a little and she sighed in contentment.
"So, what have you been doing over the last couple of weeks? Did your little 'mission' go well?"
Part 2
It wasn't that Yogoloth was embarrassed by his quest to find his father, well, actually he was a little. It just wasn't a very dragony thing to do, to seek out your father. What mattered were the things your mother taught you and carving out your own bit of territory somewhere in the world. If you got lucky then you might find on old lair whose previous owner wasn't around anymore. If you got unlucky, and didn't end up dead, then you'd squeeze in between two larger territories and keep your head down until you found somewhere permanent.
No, the reason why he didn't want to talk about it was that he didn't want to make it... 'official'. There were so many things that could go wrong. His father might be dead or he might be too far away, the feather might not be enough, after all this, even the name could be wrong in some way. Yogoloth did not like to fail.
"Well?", Natanii said a little impatiently.
"Sorry. Yes, it's been good. My little 'mission' as you call it, went well."
"Are you ever going to tell me what it's about?", Natanii asked idly. The hybrid could tell she really wanted to know, but was trying to act casual.
"Yes.", he replied simply, much to Natanii's annoyance. The gryphoness hissed slightly before shifting her body over until she was on her belly facing Yogoloth. He lifted his head off the ground where it had been resting. "What?"
"You know full well 'what'!", Natanii exclaimed, trying to sound strict but failing to hide a slight smirk. She lifted her self onto her rump and turned her body so that she was facing his belly scutes. He was still resting on his side and made no attempt to move. "If you don't tell me what you needed that harness for, I'll smack you in the balls."
The gryphoness's eyes looked down between the dragons hind legs and frowned. As much as he was certainly a gryphon, there was so much about him that came from his dragon side. It wasn't exactly the norm, but female gryphons were often heard keeping males in check with such threats. Often joking, sometimes not. The the hybrid's strange anatomy made things more complicated.
"Sorry to disappoint, but they're internal. I don't even know how male gryphons are even able to fly with those getting in the way.", Yogoloth winced slightly at the thought. His testicles may well be internal, but he still didn't like getting hit there. He could only imagine how painful it would be if they were totally exposed and unprotected. He was very happy with his gryphon-like wings and tail, but was just as happy about his dragon-like body too.
"Well, you've had a good look at my body on more than one occasion, isn't it about time I got to know yours a little better?", Natanii asked rhetorically.
Without waiting for a response, the gryphoness turned a little more, grabbed one of Yogoloth's hind legs and rolled him over on to his back.
"Aaah!", he yelped in shock. Then Natanii let go and placed her talons on his tough chest plates, lightly holding him in place.
Her gaze roamed over his body and the young dragon suddenly felt very exposed. His pale green scutes ran from the top of his throat down his neck to his chest, there they became wider, much harder and slightly ridged plates. They continued towards his belly where they became narrow and softer again until they reached between his hind legs. Here there was a long soft ridge which was roughly where a male gryphon's sheath would have been, maybe a little further back.
What Yogoloth had wasn't a sheath, it was flatter, far smoother and more aerodynamic, but it probably served the same sort of purpose. Natanii reached out a fore leg and gently ran a single talon along the soft scutes between the hybrid's hind legs. He immediately tensed up but made no attempt to move or shield himself. Natanii smiled to herself.
"Oh, you like that then?", she asked playfully turning to meet Yogoloth's gaze and pulling her talon away slightly. His eyes met hers and narrowed.
"You might have to do that some more before we know for sure.", he smirked back.
Natanii turned back to the dragon's hind quarters and ran her talon along his scutes again and he shivered slightly. The gryphon suddenly realised she'd never actually watched Yogoloth become erect before, he'd always been either ready or tending to her needs at the time. She shuffled her pale furry rump forwards a little, brought her other fore leg to bare and slowly ran her talons across the smooth ridge. The hybrid sighed and dropped his head back onto the rocky ground.
"Natanii...", Yogoloth breathed quietly. "That feels... amazing..."
The gryphoness smiled and then her eyes widened as she saw the tip of the dragon's cock starting to emerge from the front of the ridge. She had almost forgotten how purple it was, not a dull colour, but bright and rich like his eyes. Natanii clenched her throat tight to stifle a giggle and she gently stroked the organ as it continued to grow. Giggles were a sure way to get a male out of the 'mood'.
She wrapped her talons around the purple shaft and gently squeezed while her other continued to run up and down his scutes. The combination of feelings made Yogoloth moan in pleasure and push up off the ground slightly.
"Easy there, I don't want you to pull a muscle or anything.", Natanii chuckled as she began to steadily pump her talons up and down the dragon's length.
The gryphoness hadn't really had a close look at Yogoloth's cock before now, she knew he had two in there and his body could alternate between them. But apart from that and the colour, it was remarkably gryphon-like, even down to the soft backwards pointing barbs. Thankfully those were quite small and soft in his case, Natanii had been mated by males who had much more prominent barbs and they could be quite uncomfortable at times.
The dragon bucked his hips off the ground and the gryphoness smiled and pumped a little faster making sure to catch every sensitive barb and ridge on his purple shaft. She was getting quite aroused herself, but this was Yogoloth's treat of sorts, not hers, so she stayed focused on the task that was literally in hand. The hybrid's whole body began to tense, he bared his teeth and Natanii quickly let go of him.
"I'll only carry on if you promise to tell me what you've been up to afterwards.", she said matter of factly. Her face was the picture of innocence, but it clearly hid an evil and devious mind, Yogoloth suddenly realised.
"Yes, yes! Don't stop now!", he growled desperately. Natanii quickly wrapped one set of talons back around his cock and had the others dance gently on the soft scutes between his hind legs.
She quickly had the prone dragon in rapture again and his orgasm began to rise. He even whimpered slightly as he felt her touch return to his flesh, males are all the same, the gryphoness thought to herself. Yogoloth clenched his teeth again and arched his back. He felt a growl rising in his throat, and with a sudden thrust, he hit his peak.
Natanii kept her grip on the dragon and slowly caressed his cock as he spilled his seed over his own belly scutes. His fore claws found purchase on the rocky ground and he rode out the waves of pleasure with his eyes closed, teeth clenched and ears folded flat against his head. After a time, his body relaxed and he settled flat on the ground again.
"You...", he eventually began, breathlessly. "You are one... amazingly evil gryphon..."
"I'm glad you're beginning to realise this.", Natanii purred.
Part 3
Natanii reached out her fore legs over Yogoloth's belly and chest scutes, which he had thankfully cleaned after their bit of fun. The gryphoness wasn't really equipped to clean up the mess herself, or she would have. They had both stretched out on the mossy rocks that formed the small cliff that the hybrid had been sleeping on and watched as the sun slowly climbed higher into the sky. There were a few scattered clouds and a brisk breeze, but her fur and his body heat kept her more than comfortable.
Now that they had settled down, she had brought up the question that the hybrid had promised to answer. A promise very much forced out of him earlier. She grinned at the thought and wondered what it would have been like if she'd have had a tongue like Yogoloth's. She shook the thought from her head and turned to look into his eyes, he was still watching the sun rise and had been unusually quiet since she'd reminded him of his promise. The gryphoness would give him all the time he needed to collect his thoughts.
"I... I'm looking for my father.", Yogoloth said eventually, the was no point in dragging it out.
"Oh, Yogoloth! Why didn't you tell me earlier? I could have helped!", Natanii said accusingly as he turned to meet her gaze.
"I just don't want to get my hopes up. I set out to do this on my own, thinking that I'd never get any help from gryphons.", the hybrid admitted quietly. He looked back to the sunrise. "Besides, until now, I didn't even know his name. Do you know any gryphons called Farasuun?"
"I think one of my cousins knows someone called Farasuun, but he's hardly old enough to be your father. It's quite an old name, not used much anymore.", Natanii said trying to sound more helpful than she felt.
There was another moment of silence as the breeze caught some dust nearby and created a small, short lived dust storm. Natanii squinted as her fur and feathers were ruffled by the moving air. She realised that this must be pretty important for Yogoloth, maybe it wasn't the norm for dragons to seek out their fathers. But if it was important to him, then it would be important to her. The gryphoness quickly got up onto her feet.
"Right, get up and let's go flying.", she said, putting on an intentionally positive tone. Yogoloth pulled himself away from the sun, turned to Natanii and smiled.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea.", he said as he rolled over onto his belly and got to his feet.
He began to stretch his wings and the act soon spread through his body to his legs and neck. Yogoloth was soon ready for action and he gave his snout a couple of licks. Natanii spread her own pale feathery wings, took a few steps and leapt into the sky, closely followed by the hybrid. He had quite a wonderful view following behind the gryphoness as she looked back at him and wiggled her tail and rump.
They gained height and soared in the morning sky. Now that they rode over the cool breeze, instead of it flowing over them, they could not feel its chill. The last time they simply flew together for no reason, other than for the sake of flying, they had quite a nice time on a beach afterwards. Yogoloth smiled at the memory as he danced in the sky with his mate.
Was that what she was now? His mate? Gryphons had dozens of words to describe relationships, yet dragons had so few. What would Natanii say he was to her? She flew close by and playfully swatted his rump with the back of a talon. Yogoloth yelped in surprise as his chain of thought was broken and he turned and dived after her. She was fast and agile, but not as fast nor as agile as he was. She laughed and narrowed her eyes as he drew up close to her and swatted him again, but this time with her tail to his snout.
Unlike dragons, gryphon tails were not strong enough to be used as weapons, if anything it was an affectionate thing that Natanii did quite frequently. As a result, it merely made Yogoloth smile, reach forward with his long neck and nip her on the rump. She veered off to the side, rolled over in midair and went into a dive. The hybrid followed her closely as they got closer to the ground and began to level out over the forest.
For a few minutes, Natanii flew close to the tree tops and Yogoloth pulled up beside her. They flew side by side until they spotted a gap in the tree cover that signified that there might be a place to land. As they got closer they realised it was a small clearing with an old abandoned wood cabin at the centre. Long ago this has probably been home to a woodcutter, but now nature had began to reclaim it. The two feathery winged creatures circled once before landing as gracefully as only two slightly competitive fliers could.
Yogoloth wasted no time and pounced on Natanii before she could react and they fell into a tangle of feathers and limbs. There was nothing sexual about the tackle, they just laughed and nuzzled each other affectionately.
"I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed flying with you.", Yogoloth said slightly out of breath.
Natanii simply grinned happily and snuggled her beak into his mane, and for a while at least, they just held each other, surrounded by the colours, sounds and smells of the forest.
Part 4
Yogoloth stretched out his primary flight feathers and put his snout in between them. They were in pretty good shape, but it never hurt to keep them in the best state he could. It was mostly a case of getting the dirt out, straightening and oiling them. He pulled a little magic into a shape, that he had worked closely with his mother to create many years ago, and his mouth suddenly tasted slightly greasy. He'd gotten used to the taste over the years and slowly ran his teeth and tongue over the feathers.
He moved further in and found a broken supporting feather nestled amongst the rest, he carefully bit down, plucked it out and spat it down it on to the ground. Another would regrow in its place and then his wings would be perfect again. Yogoloth was very proud and protective of his feathery gryphon wings, they had served him well over the years and had saved his life on more than one occasion. His mother had been right, they were nothing but a boon. The hybrid suddenly realised that Natanii had stopped preening herself and was watching him instead.
"Have you never seen someone preening their wings before?", he looked at her feeling slightly self conscious. She seemed intrigued by something.
"You don't have an oil gland, do you?", Natanii said carefully as though unsure if the question would offend. Yogoloth finished oiling some more feathers, looked up to her and folded the wing back against his flank.
"No. But I can think of worse things I could be missing from down there.", he replied with a smirk. The gryphoness laughed and nodded.
"I'm sure you can. I could sense you using some kind of magic on your mouth?"
"It's something my mother worked on for me. It took us years to get the exact consistency right. It helped a lot that she knew my father for the years she did.", Yogoloth replied a little subdued. Natanii walked over, gently wrapped one of her wings around him and gave him a good squeeze. He often became a little quiet when the subject of his mother came up.
"Want to talk about her?", the gryphoness asked kindly.
"One day, yes.", Yogoloth smiled back, trying not to let his memories get the better of him.
"Wait a second... your mother actually made that shape for you? She invented it?", Natanii suddenly realising she'd never even heard of anyone actually making new magical shapes before.
"Before you ask, I have no idea how. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't something she could teach me. But if I studied the shapes themselves for a few centuries, I'd probably figure it out."
"Goodness...", Natanii breathed in disbelief. Though it did make a kind of sense. Dragons were more magically gifted than gryphons and lived alone for centuries. Over that time there probably wasn't much else to do other than hunt, sleep and practice magic. All the magical shapes had to come from somewhere originally, maybe the first gryphon to ever learn magic was taught by a dragon?
"Natanii, would you... like to come hunting with me?", Yogoloth asked, sounding a little nervous.
"Of course, I could do with a little something before it gets dark.", the gryphoness replied, then caught on to Yogoloth's tone and looked him in the eyes. He looked very pleased. "Hunting together. That's a really big thing for dragons, isn't it?"
"Yes, it is. I assume not so much for gryphons?", the young dragon asked inquisitively.
"Not really, we normally hunt in groups and share the kill. It's not uncommon to just pair up with a stranger at a stables and go hunting. It saves wasting half the kill.", Natanii stopped, quickly smiled and added. "But, I cannot think of anyone I'd rather hunt with than you."
Yogoloth smirked and shoved her playfully with his body, she grinned, pulled away and folded her wings against her flanks.
"Creep.", the young dragon muttered.
"So, do you prefer to hunt by air or by ground?"
"Ground."
"Magic or not?"
"Not!", Yogoloth scoffed at the idea of using magic to hunt in any but the most desperate situations. You never knew when you might need as much magic available as possible or you might be hungry and not have the magic to spare. Knowing that he could hunt without wings and without magic was comforting. The hybrid had certainly been in both those situations before.
"Good! You like a challenge.", Natanii stretched out her fore legs along the ground, then stood up straight and stretched a hind leg, soon followed by the other. Supple muscles tensed and then relaxed below her fur as each limb flexed. She was deceptively well toned below her pale brown coat. She shook her wings out and swished her tail a little. Yogoloth watched the whole performance quietly, she was such a strong, attractive gryphon, he resisted the urge to pounce on her right away. She looked over to him and smiled as her wings settled against her body.
"Right, let's go find something to eat... once you've finished staring at my body, that is."
Part 5
It hadn't been fair at all. But then, nature never claimed to be anything other than beautiful and brutal in equal measures. Natanii had briefly shown Yogoloth the signs that gryphons used to coordinate their hunts and it had surprised them both that they were quite similar to the dragon variety. It had surprised Natanii even more that the normally solitary dragons would even need a system to silently communicate during a hunt.
"How else is a dragon supposed to teach her offspring to hunt effectively, if she cannot take them with her on her own hunts?", Yogoloth had put simply. The gryphoness couldn't fault the logic.
The two skilled predators had found a small herd of bachelor elk and it had been almost guaranteed that one of them would fall. Even with all those extra pairs of eyes, the alarm call was sounded a little too late and the elk they had targeted was a little too slow. There was a moment of indecision as to who got to make the kill itself, but even that didn't save the creature from its fate.
The dragon hybrid and the gryphoness feasted on their kill. It was the first time that Yogoloth had hunted with anyone other than his own mother and it had been the first time that Natanii had ever hunted with someone other than a fellow gryphon. The differences in hunting techniques were not too great, especially when compared to the differences in eating techniques.
"You've still got quite a lot on the left side of your snout.", Natanii tried not to laugh as Yogoloth's long tongue swirled around his green snout, seeking out the blood that had been licked clean many minutes ago.
"You're just messing with me, aren't you?", the hybrid's eyes narrowed and a slight smile grew on his lips. The gryphoness laughed and Yogoloth stood and let out a deep growl. "You should know better than to taunt a dragon."
The gryphoness swallowed involuntarily and stared back at the advancing dragon. When they had first met, Natanii had spent much of her time reminding herself of all the things about Yogoloth that made him a gryphon. Perhaps deep inside she was ashamed at wanting something other than a gryphon to mount her. But over the weeks she found herself thinking less about what made him a gryphon and more about the things that made him a dragon.
"What... are you going to do with me, dragon?", she asked smiling slightly. For the first time in Yogoloth's life, a gryphon had called him 'dragon' and he knew that no offense was intended. Indeed, he took no offense either.
"I'm... going to punish you...", he said, teeth bared, advancing a little further. The gryphoness's body tingled slightly and her heart beat faster in her pale furry chest. She didn't know how far to take this game with Yogoloth, she didn't want to 'scare' him off by going too far with the act. She smirked slightly, moved her tail between her legs and flattened her ears as the dragon advanced further.
"Really...?", Natanii whispered fearfully, lowering her head and looking up at the looming dragon. She felt the excitement build in her body as his hungry purple eyes took her in.
Yogoloth merely growled, though deeper than usual. The sound seemed to vibrate through the ground like a tremor. The dragon slowly prowled off to the side of the 'helpless' gryphoness and she sank her talons and claws into the ground as she watched him. Natanii could now see that the dragon was excited, his rich purple cock had begun to slide from his body, ready to 'punish' the gryphoness for her insult. She looked away, as though fearful, but in reality, she was as excited as he was.
"You will do nicely...", he growled again, the sound like a dark mockery of a pur.
He quickly reached forward, grabbed her tail best he could with a fore paw and pulled it out from between her hind legs. She opened her beak to let out a fake protest, but it was replaced by gasp as Yogoloth's long tongue found the folds of her labia. Her head sank forward as her eyes closed, her excitement turning the pleasure into shear bliss. She never wanted to get used to that tongue.
Natanii took an idle step forward, to 'escape' the dragon at her hindquarters, but he placed a paw on her rump and protracted his claws until they just sank into her flesh. That, combined with a warning growl, was all that was needed to keep her still. She could feel the blood throbbing in her ears, mimicking the pounding in her chest. She had been in almost this exact situation with Yogoloth before, but at the time she was reminding herself that he was a gryphon, now she was convincing herself that he was all dragon. It didn't take much.
"Oh, dragon...", she hissed through the sensations that enveloped her rump. The combination of those claws and that persistent, skilled tongue threatened to overwhelm her.
Yogoloth could not resist her any longer, so he pulled his tongue back into his snout and tasted the gryphoness's excitement. Without any more delay, he hopped up and moved forward until his belly scutes were pressed firmly against her furry back. He wrapped his fore legs around her flanks and pushed forward, effortlessly sinking himself inside of her.
Natanii's body welcomed him into its warm silky embrace. She pushed back with her fore legs and their bodies thumped together as their union was complete. Yogoloth cried out gently through clenched teeth at the feeling, the gryphoness's claws and talons churning up the grass and dirt as she took the dragon's 'punishment' gladly. He pulled back and pushed forward, harder, desperately trying to resist the instinct to wildly hump her like a mere beast.
"My... dragon...", Natanii gasped between thrusts.
If she wanted to be fucked by a dragon, then that's what she would get, so Yogoloth relaxed some of his control and let his instincts lead him a little more. The claws of his fore paws protracted again and sank beneath the fur of her flanks into the flesh below, they gently pierced the flesh and drew a few of trails of blood. Natanii gasped again at the feeling and threw her head back as an orgasm washed through her body. She could feel his claws in her flesh and didn't care, she was his now. She belonged to this dragon.
His thrusts were still controlled but much more forceful now, each time he pushed against her rump, her hind paws were lifted up from the ground slightly. Each impact filled her more deeply than the one before as another climax began to build. She clenched her beak tight as it reached its peak and the sensations fell over her.
Yogoloth's instincts began to take a little more control of his actions and he reached forward with his long neck and locked his jaws around the female's furry neck. It was not an aggressive act, but nor was it gentle. Natanii cried out as the dragon's teeth pierced her neck and she felt blood flow from the numerous wounds. The gryphoness tilted her head back as far as she could to protect her neck.
She wasn't sure how much of it was shock and how much was actual pain. Part of her wanted to throw him off and escape, but she knew he would never mean to hurt her and would never cause her serious harm. He was merely claiming her, subduing her, as though she was his dragon mate. He was being the dragon that she had wanted him to be and she smiled though the discomfort.
The pain was rapidly being forgotten as Yogoloth's thrusts became a little more erratic. He was close to his own orgasm as another made Natanii's body shudder below the dragon's scutes. Her legs began to feel a little weak and her neck ached from both the bite itself and the angle it was being forced into. She didn't care, she was being mated by her dragon, and for one crazy, fleeting moment, she wished she hadn't been sleeping on stone eggs this week.
The dragon's teeth left her flesh and Yogoloth let out a roar that might as well have split the sky. His final thrust forced Natanii to take a step forward to retain her balance and she could feel his seed being pumped into her body. The gryphoness pushed back as hard as she could and the feeling of him pulsing inside of her forced her body into one final climax. Her beak parted and she joined his roar with her own slightly muted call.
For a while they simply panted together, out of breath and exhausted. They slowly lowered themselves down on to the ruined grass, still joined together in their carnal embrace. Yogoloth settled onto his side and Natanii kept her back as close to his belly as she could, she wanted the feeling of him inside of her to last as long as possible. They both ached from their passionate mating and the only sound was their deep and rapid breathing.
Part 6
The sun had begun its slow descent towards the horizon hours ago and now the warmth of the day was long past its peak. The rain, that the morning's fiery light had warned of, turned out to be little more than a brief shower. Yogoloth and Natanii had barely noticed it as they lay together on the scarred ground where they had so roughly mated. It was getting late and the dragon's mood darkened slightly.
"There aren't many hours of light left, I suppose you'll be heading back soon?", he said slightly solemnly.
The gryphoness rolled a little onto her belly, looked the hybrid in the eyes and smiled. She had always been told that her eyes were beautiful, rich greens with slight flecks of gold. But Yogoloth's eyes were unique. Lightest lavenders to deepest purples which then seemed to become amethyst crystals around his slitted pupils. Somehow they suited him, they were an enigma within an enigma.
"The last time I slept without a roof was probably close to ten years ago.", Natanii began with a smile. "I misjudged the distance between two cities and had to sleep under a half dead tree, it rained heavily that night too. I wasn't very happy the following morning."
Yogoloth listened and accepted it all. She was a civilised gryphon and didn't belong out here in the wilds. It was a pity that the abandoned cabin nearby had lost its roof long ago, or he would have tried to convince her to stay there with him. Although, it was hardly big enough for the both of them anyway.
"I bet your wings were soaked.", Yogoloth said with a forced smile. She suddenly grinned and her eyes narrowed with the promise of mischief.
"Which is why, if it rains tonight, you will stay awake and cover me with your wings while I sleep.", Natanii said calmly as though it had all been agreed already.
"You're sleeping with me tonight? Out here in the wilderness?", Yogoloth asked, not sure if he'd heard right.
The gryphoness nodded and leaned forward, nuzzling his neck and pushing her beak into his furry mane. She suddenly stiffened, took a sharp intake of breath and pulled back slowly. Yogoloth's eyes were drawn to the dark red stains on the back and sides of her fluffy neck. There was actually a lot more blood there than he first thought and a couple of the wounds looked like they might still be bleeding a little even now. The dragon's head followed hers and his tongue found her neck and began to lick gently at the puncture marks.
"I really didn't mean... to bite you... quite that hard...", Yogoloth said between licks. The gryphoness sighed and closed her eyes at the attention she was getting, the dragon's long purple tongue was very soothing.
"I know.", she said slightly dreamily. "Just try not to bite me that hard next time."
Yogoloth breathed a quiet sigh of relief, he was a little worried that Natanii wouldn't want there to be a next time at all after that. He should have had more faith in her, as she once said, she was not a delicate flower. He continued to run his tongue through the fluffy, feathery neck and gradually the stains faded and the wounds became clean and soothed. The gryphoness's short sighs of contentment were soon joined by Yogoloth's own. The dragon had forgotten how much he enjoyed the taste of gryphon.
He suddenly pulled his head away from Natanii's neck, his eyes wide and his heart beating a little quicker. He felt slightly sick as his tongue quickly slipped back in his snout.
"That... should do for now.", Yogoloth said quickly as he stretched out his magical senses into the gryphoness's body.
The wounds seemed clean enough, so he tapped into his reserves and formed a couple of shapes in his mind. The magic quickly formed into the patterns that he'd been taught so many years ago and he carefully twisted them together. Yogoloth placed his paw gently on Natanii's body and let his creation slip through into the bite wound on her neck. It would not only hold the flesh together and prevent scarring, but it would also promote much faster healing and fight infection. He'd invested a lot of magic in that twisted pair, but his gryphoness was worth it.
"Thank you, my dragon.", she said snuggling back against him.
"I do have a name, you know.", Yogoloth replied with a hint of sleepy humour in his voice.
"I know, but today, you're my dragon.", Natanii said, trying to stifle a yawn but failing. "I can be your dragoness, if you like?"
"I think I prefer you as you are."
They both shifted their positions, Yogoloth rested his back onto the ground and Natanii's head rested sideways on the dragon's softer belly scutes. He placed a fore paw on her furry flank, she smiled and held it with her talons. They looked up at the darkening sky and couldn't think of anywhere they'd rather be right now. The gryphoness's breathing gradually slowed, as did her dragon's, and neither of them really cared if it rained that night or not.
