#3 of To Love a Hybrid

Next part of To Love A Hybrid. Next one will probably be the last. I want to thank everybody for their positive feedback and their connections with the characters I made. Big thanks to Sangheilinerd for proofing this and the use of Nick, his character. After finishing this chapter, please leave your comment on how you would handle Ryudo's situation. I have a few ideas of my own, but I would love to hear what you guys would do. If its really good, I'll use and give credit to the user. Again, thanks to everybody who enjoys my horrible writing and leaving your great comments.

Ryudo let out a grunt as he hit the ground again, blood trailing down his nose.

"I would hit you again, but it would probably do no good trying to get through that fucking thick head of yours," Blake shouted at him.

Ryudo didn't say anything as he laid on the ground. Connor, Stephen, and Simon were shaking their heads at him in disgust.

"You just had to go and do just the opposite of what I said didn't you?" Blake said.

"I had to try," Ryudo said softly.

"Don't you care about anybody feelings except your own?" Simon said. "Now you really are becoming like your father. Hope you're proud of yourself."

Nick floated down next to them and shook his head.

"I spoke to every hybrid I know, and none of them have seen him."

Shelly started to cry as Nick held her close. That made Ryudo feel even worse than he did now.

"I'm sorry," Ryudo said.

"Sorry won't bring my son back," Shelly growled before heading in the house.

"Well, what are you going to do Ryudo?" Blake said looking at him. "Our final two tests are in an hour and we have no clue where to start looking."

Ryudo got up, wiping his nose and looking at the ground.

"You guys go ahead. I'm going to look for him."

"What about the finals? You know if you don't pass, you don't graduate. And if you don't graduate, you don't become a doctor," Connor stated flatly.

"I don't care about that. Gail is out there somewhere hurting and I'll be damned if I let him hurt any longer."

Blake looked at him before giving a small grin.

"Now you're talking like the Ryudo I know. I can probably buy you an extra hour but no more. You find Gail, you apologize, and you bring him home."

Ryudo looked up at Blake and the others before smiling.

"You're damn right I will."

///////

Gail let out a whine as he shivered hard. His clothes were soaked and the cold breeze that was blowing wasn't helping matters any. Despite all that, he still cried heavily. Those words still echoing through his mind.

"I never wanted you!! You can't replace Justin!!"

Gail sobbed again remember the angry look in Ryudo's eyes when he said it.

"Why did it have to be this way?"

Looking up, he spied a large tree. He walked towards it and took a seat under it, letting out a whine as his legs felt relief. He had no idea how long he had been running, or for that matter, where. The only thing he knew, was that he didn't want to be anywhere near Ryudo. He wanted to be angry with him. He wanted to tear his throat out for saying that. But his love for him drove him to run away. He wiped his nose, shivering again at the cold breeze.

"What do I do now? Somebody please tell me?" he whined out.

Fatigue started to set in on his weary body. He had to find some place to rest without being seen by people. If he was seen, he would be brought back to that farm he hated. With a sigh, he picked his weary body up and started to look for some kind of shelter to rest and dry off. He had no clue where he was as he walked through the forest trail, dead leaves crunching underneath him. The sound of people close by made him stay close behind large trees as joggers brisked by him.

"I really need to find some place to hide out."

Walking on, he heard the sound of running water as he headed towards it. A large stream appeared in the clearing as he walked towards it. Kneeling down, he cupped his paws and dipped them in the water, bringing it to his muzzle and taking a sip. It was a little metallic but it was better then nothing. Getting his fill, he stood up but went back down to one knee holding his head.

"What's wrong with me?" Gail whined, feeling light headed.

Opening his eyes, they started to become unfocused, images becoming blurry a little. He shook his head before standing up slowly, not knowing what was wrong with him. A rough, cold breeze rushed through his body making him yelp as the wet clothes provided no kind of protection.

"I need to find some kind of shelter."

He walked through the stream, his paws shaking with each step as the cold water bite through him to the bone. Reaching the other side, he shook his feet off and continued his walk. His vision was starting to get worse as he tripped on small roots and walked into trees. He could feel his body shake violently, trying to get some kind of warmth.

"So.....cold," he whined softly.

His body wouldn't let him go any further as he sat underneath another tree, arms around his body as he rubbed his arms vigorously. His eyes started to close slowly, sleep hitting him hard. He was scared, tired, and alone.

"Mom, I need you," he cried.

His strength finally left him as his eyes closed, welcoming whatever was in store for him.

///////

Ryudo let out a sigh as he sat in his car. He looked everywhere for Gail and came up with nothing to show for it. He balled his fists angrily before hitting the steering wheel.

"God dammit Ryudo. What the fuck is wrong with you?"

His phone started ringing as he picked it up.

"What?" he said frustrated.

"I can't delay the teacher any longer. If you're not here in twenty, she's going to flunk you." Blake said on the other line.

"Thanks for giving me the time. I'll head back now."

Ryudo hung up, hitting the steering wheel again before heading to school. He pulled into the entrance and found a park, rushing out to head to class. He made it to the classroom in time to see everybody exiting. Blake gave him a nod before walking away. Ryudo walked in, seeing the teacher Ms. Florence collecting her things. She looked over to see Ryudo walk in.

"Decided to come to my class Mr. Peterson?"

"I'm sorry Ms. Florence, but there was something of major importance that I had to do."

"Understandable. Come get your test and get started."

Ryudo nodded before grabbing a test and sitting down in the empty room. He couldn't concentrate at all as his mind keeping going to Gail. Was he okay? Did he get taken back to the farm? Did he hurt himself? If anything happened to him, he don't know what he would do.

"Something wrong Mr. Peterson? You've been staring at the test for the last ten minutes without writing anything. I do have things to do today."

"Sorry," Ryudo said, with a whisper before getting his head straight.

He wrote down his answers with flying speed, wanting to get back out there and search for Gail. After filling in the final answer he got up and handed the test back.

"A little advice Mr. Peterson," she said, snatching the test from his hands and stuffing it in her briefcase. "Just because you're rich, doesn't mean you can have your way. I would've flunked your hybrid loving ass if Blake didn't beg me. I know all about why you're doing this and quite frankly, it sickens me."

Ryudo narrowed his eyes evilly at her.

"A rich, respectful person like you lowering yourself to their level. What is the world coming to?"

Boy, if Ryudo wasn't so concerned about Gail, he would've punch the shit out of her.

"Oh well, get the hell out of here. I'm pretty sure you passed so you'll get your degree."

Ryudo wanted to say something, but he bit his tongue. Finding Gail precedence over everything else. With an evil stare, he left the classroom, hearing her saying he was a waste of a man. Running to his car, he made a beeline back home. Heading inside, he saw everybody waiting for him. Nick was consoling Shelly who was crying softly in his chest. Even Caroline was crying as Blake rubbed her back.

"Any luck Nick?" Ryudo asked.

"Nothing."

"I can call in some favors from some friends now that school is done and over with," Blake said.

"Any help is better than none," Ryudo said.

"Just remember, we're doing this for Gail, not for you," Connor spoke up.

"I'm fine with that."

"So where do we start looking?" Stephen asked.

Ryudo walked into the kitchen, coming back with a map of the town and laid it on the table.

"We'll split up and cover each section of the town. Blake, you and your friends cover the north section by the farm and work your way in. Stephen, you work the west and Connor you work the south. I'll take the east side. Search everywhere that you can, even in dumpster."

"What can I do?" Nick asked.

Ryudo looked at him before the map.

"You take all the parks and forest trails. With your flying abilities, you would be able to cover them more quickly. Just don't get in trouble with you owner."

"He's on vacation so I can do whatever I can to help Shelly."

Ryudo nodded before looking at everybody, lowering his head.

"Nothing I say will help matters any. I know this is my fault. I accept full responsibility for the pain Gail is going through. But know this," he said lifting his head up. "I won't rest until he's back home with Shelly."

Everybody nodded their heads before getting up.

"Let's go. We have a friend in need out there," Connor said.

Nodding their heads, everybody left Ryudo's house with a common goal in mind.

////////

Gail let out a soft whine as he stirred in his sleep. The first thing he noticed that he was warmer then he was before. Opening his eyes, he looked to find he was in a tent, underneath a thick bedroll. His ears perked up as he caught the sound of two voices outside.

"Do you know that hybrid Samuel?"

"I've never seen him before master."

"Did he have anything on him to identify himself?"

"Nothing master."

Silence was absolute until one voice spoke up.

"What do you want to do master?"

A deep exhale was heard from one person before talking.

"We wait until he wakes up. He's lucky we found him, otherwise he would died from hypothermia. Are his clothes almost dried?"

"Just about. Another five minutes or so."

Gail sat up, feeling light headed still and weak. He didn't know who these people were, but the least he could do was thank them. Crawling to the tent flap, he peeked out. Sitting by a fire was a young man with a shepherd, their backs were turned to him. He cleared his throat softly making the shepherd's ears perk up and looked behind him.

"He's up master."

The young man turned around, his deep brown eyes looking at Gail before smiling.

"Um.....thanks for the help kind sir," Gail said, ears folded.

"Don't mention it. What were you doing out there with no kind of protection from the rain last night?"

Gail looked down at the ground, going quiet. The man noticed before shaking his head.

"I probably brought up a bad subject so forget I said anything. Would you like something to eat? I just finished making some beans and rice."

"Sure, that would be wonderful."

"Come on over by the fire."

A small blush grew on Gail cheeks as he exited the tent, noticing that he had on a pair of sweatpants that wasn't his. He was thankful that he had some kind of clothing on so he wasn't naked as he sat next to the fire. The shepherd handed him a plate with some beans and rice, a thanks coming from Gail.

"Thank you for helping me sir."

"Think nothing of it. I just couldn't leave you out there. It just wouldn't look right."

"May I ask what you are doing out here?" Gail questioned, taking another spoonful of food.

"Me and my buddy Samuel here are hikers. We go to different towns and knock out their hiking trails. This town was next in our list."

"How long have you've been doing this?"

"I'd say about six months. My parents don't like me doing this kind of thing but I don't like being confined to a desk job. I prefer the great outdoors."

Gail smiled and looked at the shepherd named Samuel. He was pure white with coal black eyes as he sat next to the young man.

"How did you meet Samuel sir?"

"Samuel has been with me since I graduated high school."

"Does he have a collar?"

"He does. But I don't like him wearing it around me. He only wears it when we go to town and get supplies."

Gail smiled as the young man gave Samuel a hug, making his tail wag happily behind him and kick up the fallen leaves on the ground. Seeing his happy demeanor quickly forced the smile out of Gail as he remembered Ryudo hugging him like that.

"Something wrong?"

"It's nothing. Can I get your name kind sir?"

"It's Richard. How about you?"

"Gail."

"Good to meet you Gail. Where do you come from?"

"I came from a hybrid farm with my mom. We were purchased by a....."

He didn't know how to describe Ryudo now that he knew Ryudo didn't want him.

"A young man, almost the same age as you. It was going good for the first couple of weeks, but then things took a turn for the worse."

"That's too bad," Samuel said. "I'm lucky to have Richard as a master. He's probably one of the rare humans that treats us equally."

Gail continued eating, wishing he could be Samuel as Richard tickled his ears making him murr happily and cuddle into him.

"Can I ask what happened to your collar?" Richard asked.

Gail went quiet, folding his ears. Should he tell him truth? Or should he make up some kind of lie to protect himself.

"I.......I ran away."

"Why did you run away? Was you master abusive?" Samuel asked.

"No. He just said some things that really hurt me deeply."

"That's the same thing. Words can hurt worse then action," Richard added. "What's the bastard's name?"

"I'd rather not say."

Richard frowned but nodded his head.

"That's understandable. You probably still have an attachment to this person."

Gail nodded his head before giving a shiver a cool breeze rush past him.

"You should head back inside. Going to be a cold night," Richard said.

"Where are you going to sleep sir?" Gail asked.

"We always bring an extra tent for those just in case situations, so don't worry about it. Your clothes should be dry by morning."

"Thank you again sir," Gail said, getting up and giving a small bow of his head before heading back to the tent.

Once inside, he got back into the bedroll and laid there. Richard reminded him so much of Ryudo. His kind and warm demeanor was almost the same. A sigh escaped him as he closed his eyes. His mind was in a whirlwind of emotions. He didn't know what to do. Should he go back and face Ryudo again, or wander around helplessly and probably end up back on that horrible farm?

"What do I do?" he whined softly.

A breeze rustled the flaps of the tent making him curl up tighter in the warmth of the bedroll. With a sigh, sleep came on his tired brain quickly.

/////////

Ryudo sat on the couch, head in his hands as the light from the fireplace lit up the living room. He wanted to shrivel up and die. All those horrible things he said to Gail in his drunken stupor. A single tear went down his cheek as he saw that crushed looked in Gail's eyes. How could he do that to the only person besides Justin who actually said they loved him. Was he even worthy of that love now? The couch shifted besides him as he looked at Shelly in the corner of his eyes.

"Tell me Ryudo, what happened to cause all this?" she asked softly.

Ryudo let out a sigh before sitting back in the couch, eyes looking up towards the ceiling.

"Do you know about Justin?"

"Not really. Other than the brief stuff that Gail told me."

"He was the first hybrid I ever fell in love with. He was a major part of my life. I couldn't have been more happier then with him by my side."

Ryudo closed his eyes before opening them again and continuing.

"Then rumors started spreading around about me and Justin being so close in public, causing my parents to ship him to my grandparents. That was during my last year of high school. Ever since then, I hated them with a passion, only caring about their stupid reputation. Then once I graduated high school and got into college, I started studying to be a hybrid doctor."

Ryudo leaned his elbows on his knees, fingers interlocked as his eyes stared at the table and the bottle of Mudslide that was there.

"I studied my ass so I could do everything I could to give hybrids the help they needed. My parents really didn't want me to be one, but they figured after sending Justin away, they would try and get on my good side and got me my own house. For three years, I worked my ass off. Reading every book on hybrids I could and attending seminars in one of the hospitals."

Ryudo reached over and grabbed the bottle, raising it to his lips before stopping. A grunt escaped him before he put the bottle back down and screwed the lid on.

"Then my parents wanted me to get a hybrid so I could study better and not worry about cleaning up around the house. That's pretty much how I met you guys."

"That doesn't explain why my son ran away."

"Justin came back for my graduation with my grandparents. This was going to be the only time I would be able to see him. So I spent as much time as I could with him, neglecting Gail in the process. I felt so happy with him back, like a part of my life was back in place."

Ryudo let out a sigh before looking at Shelly.

"Then I asked him if he could come and be with me again."

"If he did, what would've happened to us?" Shelly asked.

"I would've traded Gail for Justin, separating the two of you."

"You were going to do that?" Shelly said shocked.

Ryudo turned his eyes away before giving a silent nod.

"I was just so happy with Justin by my side again that I lost focus on what was in front of me. Then when I brought up the idea of the trade to Justin, even he gave me the third degree. Once he rejected me, I got drunk with anger. That's when you guys came back. Gail walked in, asking if we could talk and I just lost myself in anger."

Tears started to build in his eyes, running freely down his face.

"God, I just let it all out. All the anger I felt, I directed it to him. I told him I never wanted him, said he could never replace Justin."

He was openly crying now along with Shelly.

"He took it all. Every bit of my anger he absorbed. Then he took off his collar and walked to the door. The last thing he said to me was that he loved me. He loved me! Despite all the horrible, terrible things I said to him. Once he left, it all came crashing down on me. I let the second best thing beside Justin, walk out of my life."

He lunged at Shelly, burying his face in her lap and crying hard making her yelp in surprise.

"Oh god Shelly, I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I shouldn't have hurt him or you like I have. I don't deserve either of you."

Shelly sat there, Ryudo crying in her lap. She lifted a paw and patted his back softly getting a loud choking sob.

"Ryudo, I'm going to ask you a serious question and I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me the truth."

Ryudo nodded his head before looking Shelly in her eyes.

"Do you love my son?"

Ryudo balled his fists before responding with the answer deep in his heart.

"Yes, I do love him."

"Then you find my son, and you tell him that."

Ryudo gave a soft smile before nodding his head.

"I give you my word, I will find him and bring him home."

///////

Birds chirped in the open air, stirring Gail from his slumber. With a soft whine, he opened his eyes. He felt a lot better than he did last night with a good night's sleep. He heard rustling outside the tent as he got out the bedroll and peeked outside. Richard was there next to a small fire, a kettle over it boiling some bottled water he put in.

"Good morning Richard," Gail said with a smile.

"Oh, good morning Gail. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes, thank you again for everything."

"Think nothing of it. I was just about to make some tea. Would you care for some?"

"Um...sure."

Gail got out the tent and took a seat next to Richard who smiled softly.

"Is Samuel still asleep?" Gail asked.

"Yeah. He should be up in another twenty minutes or so. His internal clock is set up just like mine. We're both early birds, loving to get up at the crack of dawn to see the sun rise."

They sat in silence until the kettle started to whistle. Using a pair of gloves, he grabbed the handle and poured some water into two cups before placing a tea bag in each one. He handed Gail a cup who gave a thanks in respond. He blew a couple of times on the water before taking a sip. The herbs in the tea made his body relax, making him sigh softly.

"Where are you going from here Richard?"

"We're going to head to town. Our supplies are running low and we need to restock."

Gail's ears perked up as Samuel exited the tent, giving a wide yawn before licking his lips. With a smile, he walked over and sat next to Richard, giving a nuzzle to his neck making Richard chuckle from the tickling whiskers.

"Good morning Samuel," Gail said.

"Morning Gail. Did you sleep well?" Samuel asked, pouring him a cup of water to make tea.

"Yes, I did. Thank you."

"What do you plan on doing now?" Richard asked.

Gail was quiet as he sat there, staring at his small reflection in the cup. He didn't know what he wanted to do. Part of him wanted to go back to his mother and face Ryudo, another part of him wanted to just stay out here and not be hurt anymore.

"I don't know."

They both looked at Gail before each other.

"Well, you could always join us," Richard spoke up.

Gail looked up at him as Richard smiled.

"It would probably be hard at first, but once you get use to it, hiking is pretty fun. Nothing but you and the beauty of nature."

"I.....don't know," Gail said, ears folding a little.

"If you have family here, then I wouldn't recommend coming with us. My parents are pretty far from here. But all I have to do is make a phone call and they will wire me money to get back home."

Gail thought about it. It would be nice to just get out and walk, admiring the beauty of nature at its finest. That walk with Caroline proved that. But if he did go, what would happened to his mom? Would Ryudo take care of her? Would she go into a deep depression like when dad died?

"I don't think I could go with you Richard. My mom is still here and I'm the only family she has left after my dad died."

"Understandable," Richard said, finishing off his tea. "I just thought I would throw that option out to you."

He looked at his watch as it read eight thirty five. He got up with a stretch, taking in a deep breath of air.

"We need to start packing up and get ready to head to town. Your clothes should be dry enough for you to wear Gail. If you want, you could walk with us to town?"

"That would be great," Gail replied, a small wag to his tail.

"Okay. Hey Sam, let's get these tents packed up."

"Roger that," Samuel said, getting up before stretching out.

Richard and Samuel got the tents all packed up as Gail got dressed. Gail's mind was wondering what to do as he waited for them to finish. After packing up the tents, Richard put out the fire before pulling out a map of the area along with a compass.

"What is that?" Gail asked.

"Its a map. It lets people see where they are at any given time of the day. This is a compass, which points you in the direction you want to go."

After getting his bearings, he pointed to the north east.

"Looks like we head in that direction. Going to be at least a two hour walk. You ready Gail?" Richard asked.

"Yeah," Gail nodded.

"Okay. Lets get going."

///////

Ryudo didn't get an ounce of sleep last night. His mind was too worried about Gail. If only he could go back in time and slap himself from saying those things. He gripped his left hand, feeling Gail's collar as the tag gave off a little jingle. The doorbell rang as he looked at it. He really didn't want to be bothered by anybody, not even his friends. It rang again, making him grunt before standing up and going to it. Opening the door, he saw the mailman standing there.

"Ryudo Peterson?" the man said.

"That's me."

"I have two letter for you. Please sign here."

Ryudo sign the clipboard before thanking the postman and closing the door. Walking back in, he took a seat in the kitchen and looked at the letters. One was from the school, and the other was from the government.

"Wonder if I passed?"

He opened the school one first, seeing his report card as it showed him passing with an average grade of an A.

"I kind of figured that," he said, tossing the letter down before opening the other letter.

Inside was a certified letter, stating that he passed the final three tests and needed to get his licenses from the government building along with getting his picture taken. He gave a small smile. Boy, Gail would've gave me a big hug and a kiss, saying congratulations. He let out a shaky sigh, rubbing his red eyes. His phone rang as he looked at the ID, seeing it was Blake.

"Yeah?" he said tiredly.

"You get your letter?"

"Yeah. I passed. How about you?"

"Same."

They were quiet for a second before Blake spoke up again.

"We had no luck last night. Everybody looked until pretty much daybreak."

"He's out there somewhere. And I won't stop looking until I bring him home."

"Do you think he'll listen to you after what you said to him."

"I wouldn't blame him if he didn't."

"I don't think Gail's the type to hold a grudge. He's a kid at heart and needs love. YOUR LOVE!," Blake said, making a point to yell that out.

Ryudo sighed before looking at the collar in his hand.

"I'm going to head to the government building after I clean up around the house and get my picture taken. You want to join me?"

"I've got nothing better to do."

"Okay. I'll pick you up in about thirty minutes."

The phone went dead before it rung again. The ID showing his mom.

"Yeah mom?"

"You ready for that big walk across the stage?" Doris said happily.

"I guess," Ryudo said softly.

"What's wrong hun? This isn't like you. You should be happy because you finally get to do what you always wanted to do."

"I know. I'm just going through a lot of personal stuff right now."

"This doesn't have anything to do with Jessica does it?"

Ryudo laughed at that before shaking his head.

"No mom. I don't feel like talking about it."

"Fine by me. Make sure to pick up your gown and hood. Everybody's going to be there cheering you on when you get that diploma."

Not everybody. The only person that wasn't going to be there was Gail.

"I'm going to get the stuff for your graduation party. You want it at our house or yours?"

"I'll have it here. Easier for my friends to come."

"Okay. I'll let your father know. Gotta go. I'm proud of you son. See you tomorrow."

He hung before tossing his phone on the table. Looking at the wall clock, he had about ten minutes before Blake would be here. With a sigh, he got up from his seat and went upstairs to change. Coming back down, he saw Shelly heading for the backyard. She looked his way and gave the slightest smile before heading out. He hung his head low before beeping was heard outside. Walking out the house, he got to Blake's car and sat in the passenger seat. No words were spoken as Blake pulled out and headed for the government building.

////////

"Well, we reached the town limit," Richard said, seeing the town on the horizon. "This is probably as far as you want to go without a collar."

"Probably. I don't want to go back to that horrible farm."

"Well then, I wish you the best of luck with everything. It was good to meet you," Richard said, holding his hand out.

Gail smiled before shaking his hand, along with Samuel. He watched Samuel put on his collar before they headed into town. If he did follow Richard, he would probably be sent back to that farm faster than he could blink.

"What do I do?" he whined softly.

With a sigh, he sat underneath a tree, a cool breeze rushing past him making the trees sway and the leaves rustle. He wouldn't be able to find his way back to Ryudo's house without getting spotted.

"Maybe I'll wait until dark to try and find my way back."

Making up his mind, he waited until dark to find his way back.

/////////

Blake and Ryudo sat in the waiting room, neither saying a word as they waited their turn to get their picture taken. Several people were waiting as well to get other licenses or just an ID. Ryudo's mind was so occupied, he didn't even hear his name called until Blake shook him.

"You're up dude. They've been calling you for the last three minutes."

"Last call for a Ryudo Peterson," the receptionist yelled out.

"Sorry," Ryudo said getting up.

The man looked at Ryudo as he approached the desk.

"Ryudo Peterson?"

"Yeah, that's me."

"You hard of hearing or something?"

"Sorry. My mind has been occupied."

"Whatever. Follow me."

He buzzed Ryudo through the door as they walked down the hallway. They reached the ID room and walked in as officers were fingerprinting other people.

"Wait here. You'll be called up shortly. Make sure to have your driver's license out."

"Thank you," Ryudo said.

Ryudo waited by the line, taking a glance at all the people that were getting fingerprinted. He wondered if any of them were from the tests he took. Soon after, he mind went back to Gail. He would give anything for some kind of clue to where he ran off to.

"Next!!" the officer shouted.

Ryudo jumped a little before walking up to the officer.

"Driver's license please."

Ryudo dug out his wallet and handed him his license. The officer typed his name into the computer, giving his ID back when he was done. Ryudo watched the officer write something down before giving a frown.

"Hybrid doctor huh? Don't see many of those these days. What made you want to help those things?"

"Those 'things' deserve a right to get help just like us," Ryudo said with a little anger.

"Seriously? What planet are you from? Hybrids are meant to serve, not be equals."

"Look sir," Ryudo said, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "I've had a rough couple of days. I would just like to get my licenses and go home."

The officer scowled at him before pointing to the station behind Ryudo.

"Go over to the station and get your picture taken. Then come back here. I'll have your licenses printed out in about five minutes."

"Thank you," Ryudo said with a huff.

God, why were people such assholes? Walking to the booth, the lady told him to stand in front of the white background. He gave a nod, standing in front of the large, white background, looking straight ahead at the miniature camera on the stand.

"Okay, are you ready?"

"Ready here ma'am."

The lady nodded, walking to the computer and typing away to adjust the camera. Once the camera was adjusted, she clicked the okay button as Ryudo heard the sound of a click.

"Is this picture okay with you?"

Ryudo walked to the computer and saw his picture. He had no kind of emotion on his face making him frown.

"Think I can take another one?"

"Sure thing. I'll just erase this one. Stand by the white background again for me."

Ryudo nodded, taking his place and looking at the camera, bringing a smile on his face. He heard the clicking sound again and took a look at his picture. He was satisfied with this one.

"Okay. Head on back and pick up your licenses. Have a good day."

"Thanks."

He walked back to the officer who was typing away. The printer in the background buzzed to life as it spit out three pieces of paper. The officer got up and retrieved them, stamping them with the government seal before handing them to Ryudo.

"Here you go. Should I print out a marriage license too, hybrid lover?" the officer chuckled.

"Yeah," Ryudo said, grabbing his licenses. "Right after I get your daughter pregnant."

"You got a mouth on you boy."

"That's what she said," Ryudo grinned before walking out the door.

He heard the curses the officer gave him as he closed the door. That sort of lifted his down mood as he walked back to the waiting room. He passed Blake who gave a nod and took a seat, waiting for Blake to return. He looked at his final licenses, seeing his picture in the bottom right hand side. This was all he needed to finally achieve his dream of being a hybrid doctor. A smile couldn't help but creep onto his face. After a few minutes, Blake came out holding his licenses as well.

"Shall we go?" he asked.

"Yeah."

They headed back to Blake's car and got in, sitting in silence.

"I would say let's grab a drink to celebrate, but I think you had enough for a while," Blake said, looking out the window.

"I know."

"What are you going to do now?" Blake asked, starting the car.

"Keep looking. I will find him."

Blake nodded his head before pulling out and heading back to Ryudo's house.

"I need to do a few things before I'm able to search again," Blake said.

"That's fine," Ryudo said getting out.

Blake gave a smile before pulling away as Ryudo watched him turn the corner and disappear. With a sigh, he walked into his house. It was so quiet. Usually Shelly and Gail would be watching TV, laughing and chuckling away. Now, it was like walking into a morgue. Nothing but dead silence. He walked up to his room, placing his licenses on the desk.

"Need to get frames for these while I'm out."

Grabbing his keys, he headed for his car to continue his search for Gail.

/////////

Nick let out a sigh as he walked the street. He searched every park and trail he could think of and got no sign of Gail.

"Where could he be?"

His stomach gave a slight gurgle as he rubbed it.

"Better grab a snack."

Luckily, his master's favorite convenience store was nearby as he walked towards it. He pushed the door open as the bells over the door jingled. A young lady looked at the door before smiling.

"Hey there Nicky."

"Hey Jackie," Nick said with a smile.

"What brings you by?"

"Need a snack. Been flying around a lot and need to recharge my energy."

Nick walked down the aisle, making sure to keep his wings folded tightly as the isle were small. He reached the cooler and grabbed a bottle of water. Heading back to the front, he passed a young man and a shepherd talking to each other.

"Are you sure it was a good idea to leave him behind? He could get hurt," the shepherd said.

"I can't force anybody to follow me. If he wants to stay here, I have to accept his decision," the young man said, grabbing two large bags of trail mix. "But if I was Gail, I wouldn't go back to the person that hurt his feelings like that."

Nick stopped dead in his tracks when he heard that name and hurried back to the young man.

"Excuse me, but did you say Gail?"

"I did. Do you know him?"

"His mother is worried sick about him. Do you know where I can find him?"

"I found him by the Hudson Trail, cold, sick, and collarless. I wanted to take him with me on hikes but he said he didn't want to leave his mother."

"Where is he now?"

"Since he didn't have a collar, he stayed on the outskirts of town, to the south of here."

"Thank you so much sir," Nick yipped happily, dashing to the front with the water.

"All set Nicky," Jackie smiled, ringing him up.

"Yeah, I need to go fast though, so can I pay when I get back?"

"Sure thing. I know you're good for it."

"Thank you," he said, giving her a lick on the cheek before dashing out.

He took off into the air as soon as he got out the store and headed to the south. The trail was about ten minutes away and he hoped that Gail would still be there. He reached the trail as fast as he could, landing down on the ground and looking around.

"GAIL!! ARE YOU HERE!?"

The only answer he got was the rushing breeze and chirping of the birds. He took a couple of sniffs in the air and got lucky as he picked up Gail's scent. It was very faint thanks to the rain last night, but was thankful that it was still there.

"GAIL!! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, ANSWER ME!!"

He walked further into the trail, before his ears perked up at the sound of footsteps crunching on the leaves. He took off to a full sprint towards the steps, hope building in his chest. Rounding another tree, his eyes went wide as he saw Gail walking aimlessly.

"GAIL!!"

Gail's ears perked up and turned around. His eyes went wide before running over to Nick, embracing him in a hug.

"Oh god Gail, are you okay?" Nick asked worriedly.

Gail didn't answer him as he buried his face into his chest, whimpering softly.

"I'm so glad you're safe. We were all worried about you."

"I'm sorry," Gail whined.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. Come on, let's get you home and back to your mother."

"I can't go back. Not yet," Gail said, breaking the hug and taking a few steps back.

Nick looked at him, head tilted in confusion.

"What do you mean, you can't go back?"

"I still need more time away from Ryudo. I'm not ready to see him just yet."

Nick nodded his head in understanding.

"I understand. If you want, my master has an extra room you could use."

"Are you sure? I don't have a collar you know."

"You'd be surprised at how understanding my master is."

Gail thought about it. A decent bed would be helpful along with a shower.

"Okay," Gail nodded.

"Great," Nick yipped happily, walking up to Gail and lifting him into his arm getting a yip of surprise. "Hang on."

Gail wrapped his arms around Nick as they took off into the air.

////////

Ryudo sat in the kitchen, his left hand twirling a pair of relaxation balls but it was having little to no effect. Gail has been gone for two days now and he couldn't find any sign of him. He was really starting to get worried now. Could he have gotten picked up and dropped off at the farm? Maybe he should check there just in case. But if he did get picked up by the farm, his parents would've called him asking loads of questions.

"Where are you Gail?" Ryudo softly spoke out.

Graduation was tomorrow at one and he would do anything to have Gail there. Blake called him and said nobody had any luck finding him either. He let out a sigh as he stopped twirling the balls and placed them on the table. Getting up, he heading out to the backyard, the cool night air brushed past him as he took a seat on the swing. He took a glance up at the night sky that was littered with stars shining bright.

"Can't sleep Ryudo?"

Ryudo looked over to see Kurt leaning on the fence.

"Too much on my mind."

"Care to talk about it? It might make you feel better."

Ryudo looked back up into the night sky, pondering on that thought.

"I've done something horrible."

"How bad could it be?" Kurt questioned.

"I......made Gail run away."

"Seriously?" Kurt asked, going wide eyed.

"I was drunk and lashed out at him with harsh, hurtful words. It was a stupid thing to do and I regret it every minute I breath."

"I see. Could you start from the beginning and tell me everything that happened? You don't have to if you don't want to."

Ryudo nodded before telling Kurt everything that transpired. Kurt listened intently, nodding his head every now and then.

"Wow, I don't know what to say," a surprised Kurt said. "I knew you were different then other humans, but this is.....wow."

Ryudo gave a soft chuckle, swinging himself a little.

"I don't know what to do. We searched everywhere for him and couldn't find a trace of him anywhere. Shelly's worried sick about him."

Kurt leaned on the fence, his brown tail swishing behind him as he rubbed his chin.

"I don't think you have to worry about him."

"Come again?" Ryudo asked confused.

"If Gail loves you, then he'll come back to you. After all the horrible things you said to him, he needs time to get his feeling straight, as well as you. Don't count him out. He maybe young, but his heart is strong."

Ryudo pondered on what Kurt said. When he first met Gail, he could see strength in his eyes. The same strength that Justin had which allowed him to overcome anything thrown his way.

"Maybe you're right," Ryudo started, looking over at Kurt. "But I would still like to know where he is and if he's okay."

"That's understandable. Anybody would want the same thing. But if you love him, put your trust in him. I'm sure he misses you and his mother."

Ryudo chuckled before getting off the swing and walking over to Kurt.

"Thanks for the therapy lesson. Where did you learn how to talk like that?"

"My mistress is a licensed therapist. She does a lot of in home sessions and I just happened to listen in, picking up on how to talk and give advice to people in need."

"Your talent could come in handy one day. If I'm in need of a hybrid therapist, you'll be the first person I contact."

Kurt chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Thanks Ryudo. I should head back inside. The mistress gets angry if I'm out too late."

"No problem. Thanks for talking to me," Ryudo smiled, holding his hand out.

Kurt smiled, shaking Ryudo's hand before heading inside. Ryudo watched him leave, his conversation with Kurt swirling in his head. Maybe he was right. Maybe they both needed some space to work out their feelings. With somewhat of a renew demeanor, he headed back inside to get ready for his graduation.

Nick landed in the backyard of a nice two story brick house. The lights were on as him and Gail approached the back door.

"Are you sure about this?" Gail asked worried.

"Trust me," Nick smiled assuredly.

With a nod from Gail, Nick opened the door and walked in.

"I'm back master," Nick called out.

"Welcome back," a strong voice said coming from inside. "Where have you been?"

"Out looking for a friend."

Footsteps approached the door as a middle aged man walked into view. He face was clean shaved as blonde hair went down to the bottom of his neck, a few strands covering his sharp violet eyes. Those same violet eyes looked at Gail making him fold his ears.

"Bringing home your clients? I didn't know you swung that way, Nick. You're full of surprises."

"It's not like that," a laughing Nick replied. "He's the son of my friend."

"The same friend you whimper while you......"

"Okay, you said enough," Nick blushed.

The man walked up to Gail making him back up behind Nick's wings.

"Shy one ain't he? What's your name?"

"It's Gail sir."

"At least he's polite."

"He's had a rough couple of days. Do you think he could spend the night here master Devon?"

Devon looked at Gail who was shivering a little as he smiled.

"Sure why not. I'll get the spare room ready. If you're hungry Gail, there's some leftover pizza in the oven. Should still be warm," Devon spoke as he went to the spare room.

Gail let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

"I told you he was different. Come on, let's eat."

"Okay."

Gail took a seat at the kitchen table as Nick went to the oven, pulling out a large cardboard box. Opening it, there were about six slices of pizza left. Gail's mouth watered at the sight before him as Nick handed him a plate with three slices.

"Dig in."

Gail wasted no time in devouring the slices, chewing quickly before swallowing. Nick watched with a smile, happy to see that Gail has an appetite.

"You can have mine if you want?"

"Are you sure?" Gail questioned.

"I'll just take a slice. You eat up."

Gail nodded, chomping down the two slice Nick gave him before settling back in the seat, his stomach full as he sighed before letting out a burp, blushing hard.

"Feel better?" Nick asked.

"Much. Thank you again."

"No need. I'm happy to help."

Devon came around the corner, a towel in his hand before tossing it to Gail.

"You stink, no offense. Shower's down the hall. I laid a pair of my old sweatpants on the spare bed that might be able to fit you."

Gail blushed before getting up from the table. He went down the hall where the bathroom was and closed the door. Taking off his clothes, he started the shower as the warm water started to fog up the mirror. Getting in, he let out a murr as the warm water cascaded down his fur, Lowering his head, his mind started to think about the situation he was in now.

He wanted to see his mom more than anything. But, in order to see his mom, he would have to face Ryudo. That was something he was and wasn't looking forward to. He wanted to see Ryudo and get held in that warm embrace again that made him feel so safe. On the other hand, he didn't want to get hurt by Ryudo again, knowing that he wanted Justin instead of him. He let out a sigh as he opened his eyes.

"I just don't know what to do."

Turning off the shower, he stepped onto the mat and shook himself free of the excess water before drying off. Once he was dry, he stepped out to see Nick waiting by the door with a smile.

"Feel better?"

"Loads," Gail replied.

"Great. You probably want to sleep now, so I'll show you the spare room."

Gail followed Nick up to the second floor where the spare room was. It was empty except for a bed and a dresser. Gail walked over and sat on the bed, a happy sigh escaping him.

"Get some rest. Tomorrow, I'll take you to see your mother."

"Is.....Ryudo going to be there?"

"I don't think so. He has his graduation to attend to, so I'll make sure to bring you there without being spotted."

Gail gave a small smile. He hated avoiding Ryudo like this, but it was probably for the best at the moment. Crawling under the covers, he let out a tired yawn, sinking underneath the warmth of the cozy blankets.

"Good night Gail," Nick said softly, turning off the light.

"Good night Nick. Thank you again," replied Gail.

///////

"Finally, graduation," Connor said, getting dressed in the dressing room.

All the seniors were inside the large locker room getting dressed for their walk across the stage and chatting idly with one another. Ryudo sat on the bench, staring at the white gown in front of him. This was suppose to be the happiest moment of any teenager's life. But to him, it felt empty and hollow.

"You going to get dressed dude?" Blake asked softly.

Ryudo looked at him before back at the gown.

"In a minute."

Blake let out a sigh before sitting next to him.

"Look Ryudo, you're hurting bad right now. But if you don't go through with this, you would never forgive yourself for all the hard, long nights of studying. Plus, when Shelly gets sick, you wouldn't be able to treat her properly."

Ryudo rubbed his eyes before stretching.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's get this graduation over with."

Blake slapped him on the back before getting up. Ryudo watched him before getting changed into a nice pair of black pants, white shirt, and tie which was to go under the gown. Why this was needed, he had no clue. Putting on the gown and hood, he walked outside the locker room where all the seniors were lined up. The assistant principal walked over as they stopped talking.

"Alright everybody," he shouted, grabbing their attention. "You all know your assigned seats. So find them and put your butts into them until its time to walk the stage. There will be no tomfoolery going on. You are all adults and are expected to act like one in front of your peers and family. Do I make myself clear?"

Everybody nodded or replied with a yes.

"Good. Now, we are to wait here until given the cue to walk in."

Ryudo leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. He was still worried about Gail. Where could Gail be? Surely they checked every place possible? His ears picked up the ramblings of the principle speaking in the microphone.

"Alright everybody, get ready," the assistant shouted.

A teacher opened the double doors causing all the seniors to stand up straight and head out onto the gymnasium floor. A loud round of applause and cheers could be heard all round along with the chorus of the marching band. Everybody took their seats as the applause died down and the principle started to speak up. Ryudo tuned her out as his eyes roamed the crowd.

It took a while, but he found his family in the top row. Everybody was there, even Justin. He locked eyes with Justin who just seemed to fold his ears and look away. It hurt him, but not bad enough as not having Gail there to cheer him on. His thought process was cut short when the principle ended her speech.

"And now, I give you the graduating class of twenty twenty."

On cue, all the seniors stood up. They proceeded to go up to the stage row by row, getting their degrees with a loud applause and a handshake from the principle. After the fifth row, it was his turn. He headed up to the stage with his row and waited in line to hear his name called.

"Ryudo Peterson!"

Ryudo gave a small smile as he walked onto the stage and up to the principle. She shook his hand, giving him a congratulations and handed him his degree. Taking it, he headed off the stage and back down to his seat, remaining standing. Once the last student was handed their degree, the principle did one final speech.

"And now ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the class of twenty twenty!"

All the students threw their hoods into the air in celebration as the crowd cheered. Ryudo kept his hood on, not even bothering to celebrate with everybody else. They left the stage to go back to the locker room to change, under a thunderous round of applause. Blake walked over to him and clapped his shoulder.

"We did it man! It's finally over!"

"Yeah," Ryudo responded softly.

Blake sighed before looking at him.

"Look man, we'll find Gail. Just keep your head up and be positive."

Connor and Stephen walked over, smiles on both their faces.

"Where's the party going to be at?" Stephen asked happily.

"Can't be at my house. It's way too small," Connor replied.

"It's going to be at my house. But with only friends I know," Ryudo spoke up.

"Are we allowed to bring friends?" Connor asked.

"Yeah sure. I'm sure my parents are going to expect at least twenty to thirty people. My dad's going to be grilling so the more the merrier."

"Nice," Blake spoke up. "Your dad can grill a mean tuna steak. Good thing I didn't eat today."

Everybody chuckled at that as Ryudo stood up and started to undress. He hung up his gown on the hangar and changed into a pair of shorts and a Warriors jersey.

"What time is the party?" Blake asked.

"Probably right after graduation, so head over," Ryudo replied looking at him.

"Sweet. I'll see you there."

Ryudo nodded before letting out a sigh. Grabbing the gown and his suit, he headed to his car and back home.

////////

Nick and Gail landed in front of Ryudo's house. Gail hurried up the path and knocked on the door. It took a few moments, but Shelly opened the door, eyes going wide as she saw Gail.

"GAIL!!"

"MOM!," he yipped happily, both of them embracing each other tightly, tears of joy going down their cheeks.

Nick smiled at the happy reunion.

"Where have you been? You had me so worried."

"I'm sorry mom," Gail whimpered, nuzzling her neck and inhaling her scent he missed so much.

"Don't be honey. I'm just glad you're back. Come in and sit down."

They all walked in and took a seat on the couch, Gail laying his head on Shelly's lap with a happy murr as she petted him.

"Thank you for finding him Nick," Shelly said looking at Nick.

"It was my pleasure, my lady."

"I'm sorry mom. I just had to get away from Ryudo after he said those things. I didn't mean to worry you as I did," Gail whimpered.

"I'm just glad you're okay honey. That's all that matters to me."

Gail let out a sigh before sitting up.

"I shouldn't stay long. I don't know when Ryudo is going to come back and I'm not ready to face him just yet."

Shelly looked at him before smiling.

"Why don't you stay down in my room? He never looks down there. Besides, he told me all about your fight. He regrets everything he said to you. I asked him if he loves you and he looked me in the eyes and told me he did. So, I believe every word he said to me."

Gail's ears perked up when she said that. Ryudo really did love him. But then why did he say those things to him? Nick's ears perked up as he looked out the window.

"Looks like Ryudo's home. This is your chance to listen to him if you want?"

Gail's emotions started to run wild. Would he run down to his mom's room, or face Ryudo after learning that he really did love him? He got up and ran into the basement just as the door opened.

////////

Ryudo let out a sigh as he got into the car. His pocket vibrated as he fished out his phone.

"Hello?"

"Congratulations son!! I'm proud of you!" Peter said over the phone.

"Thanks dad."

"We need to stop at the store and pick up our order. Then we'll be heading to your house for the party. Are all your friends coming?"

"Yeah. They are bringing some of their friends also, is that's okay?"

"That's fine with me. There won't be leftovers afterwards. We'll see in in about thirty minutes."

"Okay pops," Ryudo replied before hanging up.

He started his car up and headed for home. His mind went back to the graduation. He saw the sad expression Justin gave him and it hurt him. Why couldn't he go back in time and just erase everything he said? At least one good thing happened, he got his degree and would be able to fulfill his dream. Pulling into the driveway, he parked the car and got out.

"Better get the grill ready."

He walked up to the door and unlocked it, walking into the cool house. He tossed his shoes by the door before walking in, spotting Shelly and Nick sitting together on the couch.

"Welcome back Ryudo," they both said.

"Hey," Ryudo said half half heartedly. "My parents are going to be by here soon for the graduation party."

"That sounds fun," Shelly replied.

"I'm going to get the grill prepared out back. Let me know when everybody comes."

They watched him go upstairs, coming back down later dressed in a pair of windbreaker shorts and a shirt before heading to the back.

////////

"Steaks are on!!" Peter shouted over the music that was playing.

The backyard was packed with people laughing and having a good time. Peter was by the grill with Doris tending to the food while Ryudo was at the tables pouring the drinks. People came up to him and gave him congratulations on his graduation which he just smiled and nodded his head. Blake walked over and clapped his back.

"Man, this is a great party. I can't wait to tear into those salmon steaks your dad got."

Ryudo was quiet as he poured another cup of lemonade.

"I should be out there looking for Gail."

"Some of my friends are out there now looking. They are getting a little frustrated and might call off the search if they can't find him."

"They would give up wouldn't they?" Ryudo said with a grunt. "Well I haven't."

Blake was about to response when Elliot walked over, a big smile on his face.

"You did it man! I had no doubt in my mind you would graduate, and with high honors to boot."

Ryudo smiled before offering Elliot a cup.

"What are your plans now kiddo?" Elliot asked, taking a swig of the sweet drink.

"I'm suppose to be working at the Express Scripts Hybrid Hospital as the new superintendent. But I don't know if I want too."

"How come?" Elliot asked curiously.

"It all just seems to sudden. Like there is something wrong with the hospital. But when I went there to visit, it seemed just fine."

"Maybe you're overreacting," Blake spoke up. "You won't know anything until you actually get there."

Ryudo let out a sigh before nodding his head. Maybe he was being a little paranoid about a job he has yet to receive. His thoughts were interrupted when he saw his grandparents. His grandmother came over and gave him a big hug and a kiss on the cheek making him blush.

"Congratulations honey. We knew you could do it."

"Thanks grandma."

"We both pitched in and got you this," she said, handing him an envelope.

Ryudo took it and opened it up. Inside were tickets to Ryudo's favorite ski resort he went to when he was sixteen.

"Wow, thanks granny," Ryudo smiled, giving her a hug.

"We knew you would like it."

"Where's grandad?"

"Over with your father helping with the steaks."

"What about Justin?"

She looked at him before nodding her head to the house.

"Inside with the other hybrids that your friends brought over. Don't cause anything like you did before. Justin really got in trouble because of you."

Ryudo lowered his head at that.

"Oh well, that's all in the past. Brighten up and enjoy your victory," she said, disappearing into the crowd.

"I'm going to look for Connor and Stephen. You try and have a good time. This is a time to celebrate you know," Blake said, walking away.

He watched him walk away before grabbing a cup and taking a swig. A sigh escaped him before a tap on his shoulder got his attention. Looking to his left, he saw Anthony standing there.

"Let's chat where it's less noisy."

With a nod, they both went to Anthony's car.

////////

"GAIL!! I'm so glad you're back," Caroline yipped happily, hugging Gail tightly making him chuckle.

"You're.....hugging....too tight.." Gail squeaked out.

"Sorry," she blushed, letting go. "We were so worried about you."

"I'm sorry for making you guys worry."

"It's okay. You had to get your feelings straight."

Justin looked at Gail before speaking up.

"I want to apologize also. I never should've said those things but he needed to understand that this is for the best."

Gail looked at him before looking down at the carpet.

"I knew I never stood a chance against you. Ryudo made that pretty clear that night."

"Ryudo is an idiot sometimes," Justin said flatly. "But he now realizes his mistake. I'm pretty sure nothing will come between you two now, not even me."

Gail looked up at Justin and saw the smile he gave. He got up and held his paw out, as Justin shook it.

"Thanks," Gail said.

"Take care of the knucklehead for me. He may be stupid at times, but his heart is true."

The door opened as Blake and Connor walked in holding plates of food. They saw Gail standing there, making their mouths drop.

"Gail!? Holy shit, you've been here the whole time?" Blake asked.

"I only got here about an hour ago."

"I found him by the Hudson Trail, thanks to a hiker and his hybrid. They found him lost and helped him," Nick spoke up.

"We should tell Ryudo. He hasn't been the same since you left," Connor added.

"I don't know if...."

"You're ready," Justin spoke up. "Just speak from your heart and everything will work out. I'll be here to back you up. But first," he said, looking at the salmon, tuna, and beef steaks on plates that were surround by fries making his mouth water. "Let's eat."

///////

"Have you got all your licenses?" Anthony asked Ryudo, sitting in his minivan.

"Yeah. I got them earlier today."

"Good. Are you ready to begin your dream?"

Ryudo was quiet as he sat there. He still didn't trust Anthony. What if everything backfired on him?

"Are you still thinking that I'm setting you up?"

"Kind of. This is kind of sudden you know? Besides, I wanted to work my way up, not have it handed to me."

Anthony smiled before running a hand through his brown hair.

"That's why I picked you. You're honest and dedicated. Everybody else would've jumped at the chance to be head of anything. But you, on the other hand, want to earn it. If that isn't commitment, then I don't know what is."

Ryudo looked at him before out the window.

"It's like I told you before at the hospital Ryudo. I worked on that hospital from the ground up. Eight years I spent in that place, getting all kinds of criticism and what not. But that didn't stop me from doing what I wanted. And this is providing hybrids the best care possible, even if the doctors working under me don't want to. So believe me when I tell you this, I am not leaving that hospital with any kind of left over baggage. When I leave, I want it in good hands. Your hands."

Ryudo looked at Anthony, his grey eyes looking into the turquoise eyes of Anthony. Somehow, when looking into those eyes, he saw truth and honor in everything he said. He looked back out the window before chuckling.

"Maybe you're right."

"I know I'm right," Anthony smiled.

"Suppose I do take the job. How long would you stick around?"

"As long as I'm needed. But once you get the hang of it, I'll leave everything in your capable hands."

Ryudo thought about it. Anthony agreed to be with him for a bit and help him so he had nothing to worry about for a while. What did he have to lose?

"Alright, I'll do it," Ryudo said with a smile.

Anthony gave a wide smile before holding his hand out as Ryudo shook it firmly.

"I'm glad you made your decision. I'll have the paperwork ready for you Monday."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Great. Now, let's get back out there and eat. I'm starving," Anthony grinned as his stomach growled.

They exited the car and joined the party going on. Just before Ryudo could grab a plate, Blake shouted for him.

"Ryudo! Come here!"

Ryudo looked at him before walking over.

"What's up? I'm starving."

"Go to your room. All the hybrids pitched in and got you something."

"They did?" Ryudo asked confused.

"Yeah man. You'll love it."

Ryudo was hungry, but a present from all the hybrids won out as he headed inside. Walking in, he saw everybody sitting in the living room munching down. They looked up, and even Justin gave him a smile.

"We hope you like what we got you," Hosea said, licking his lips.

"You guys didn't have to get me anything. I'm not really deserving of anything."

"Shut up and go to your room," Justin chuckled, taking another bite of the steak.

"Wise ass," Ryudo smiled as he headed upstairs.

His door was closed as he walked up to it. Without a second thought, he opened the door. What was inside made his mouth drop.

/////////

Gail was nervous. His stomach was turning inside and out as his tail twitched. He was going to talk to Ryudo after what happened a couple days ago. He swallowed heavily as his ears picked up footsteps coming closer. The doorknob turned and opened. Silence echoed between the two as they looked at each other. Ryudo closed the door softly and walked up to Gail who folded his ears and looked down. When he was close enough, Ryudo dropped to both knees and hugged Gail tightly, tears beginning to form in his eyes.

"Oh god Gail, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you like that."

Gail looked down at the crying Ryudo, tears coming to his eyes as well as he knelt down and hugged him tightly, his head under his chin taking in his scent as they cried together in each others embrace. Ryudo was so happy to have Gail in his arms again as he held him close to his body, afraid that he would run away again.

"I'm sorry Ryudo. I shouldn't have...."

"Don't you apologize Gail. You have done nothing wrong. It was all my fault."

They held each other for a few more moments until Ryudo lifted Gail's face, staring into those beautiful golden eyes before kissing him deeply. Gail let out a small whine, wrapping his arms around Ryudo's neck as their tongues intertwined with one another. They broke off for air as Ryudo caressed Gail's cheek, making him murr happily.

"I don't deserve you Gail. I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't come back after everything I said."

"I came back because of what you mean to me. I love you Ryudo. What you said did tear me apart from the inside. But after talking to Justin, I'm able to understand you better. I know I could never replace that first love, but I never wanted to. I wanted you to love me for me. That night we mated, made it clear the love you had for me."

Ryudo let out a soft chuckle before kissing him again and hugging him tight.

"I love you Gail. I love you so much."

Gail whined happily, his tail wagging non stop behind him. A knock on the door made them both jump. Justin walked in and gave a smile at the scene.

"Everything is alright now it seems."

"Yeah," Gail said with a happy murr. "Things couldn't be better."

"Great. I just came up to say goodbye."

Ryudo looked at Justin before standing up and walking to him.

"Sorry for the trouble I gave you."

"It's all good. I knew me coming down here would cause trouble, but I didn't think it would be that bad."

Ryudo chuckled before hugging Justin, who hugged back.

"I'm glad I got to see you again, Justin."

"Same here," Justin replied.

He let go before looking at Gail.

"Take care of him for me."

"You bet," Gail nodded.

With a final smile, Justin went down the stairs and out the door. Ryudo felt his heart drop at seeing him leave. But when Gail interlocked his hand, he smiled fully for the first time in a long time. Things were going to be just fine.

The weekend passed quickly as things went back to normal. Ryudo even got a letter in the mail from Justin, saying he hopes everything will be okay and that he'll write again soon. He took another sip of tea when he felt two arms wrap around his neck.

"Good morning Ryudo," Gail murred happily, giving his cheek a lick.

"Morning stripy. Sleep good?"

"Best rest in a while," Gail replied, taking a seat at the table.

Ryudo reached over and tickled his ear making Gail giggle.

"Care for some tea?"

"Sure."

"Help yourself. The water's still hot."

Gail nodded before getting up and grabbing a tea cup, pouring some hot water into it along with a single tea bag. The herbs made him sneeze a little as he took a sip.

"This is pretty good."

"French vanilla herbal tea. Always good for calming down nerves or just relaxing," Ryudo responded, taking a sip himself when his phone on the couch rang. "Wonder who that is?"

He got up and walked over to the couch, looking at the caller ID which read unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Good morning Ryudo. It's Anthony."

"Oh, hey Anthony. I take it my dad gave you my number?"

"Your mother actually. Are you ready to fill out the paperwork and start today?"

"Sure, I guess."

"Great! Come on in whenever you get the chance and we'll begin."

"Will do. Thanks again," Ryudo said hanging up.

He tossed the phone back on the couch before rejoining Gail in the kitchen.

"Who was that Ryudo?"

"Anthony. I need to head to the hospital and get started on my new job."

"That's great Ryudo. I'm so happy for you," Gail yip happily, giving him a hug.

"Thanks stripy. All my studying is going to finally pay off."

Gail nodded before sitting back down just as Shelly walked into the kitchen.

"Good morning mom," Gail smiled happily.

"Morning son. Good morning Ryudo."

"Hey Shelly. Did you have a good rest?" Ryudo asked.

Shelly nodded before joining everybody at the table.

"What's on your agenda today Ryudo?" Shelly asked.

"I need to head to my new job as superintendent of the Express Scripts Hybrid Hospital."

"That's wonderful. I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks. I'm going to get ready."

He headed upstairs after finishing off his tea and into his room. Opening his closet, he crossed his arms and rubbed his chin in thought.

"What should I wear? Want to look professional at least."

With a nod, he reached inside and pulled out a long sleeve silk white shirt and matching pants with a black tie. Laying them on the bed, he went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and comb his hair. After doing that, he got dressed, making sure to add the tie and adjusting it in the mirror. Satisfied with how he looked, he went back down and headed for the door.

"I'll see you guys when I get back."

"Good luck Ryudo. We're cheering you on," Gail smiled.

Ryudo smiled before walking out to his car. Getting in, he started it up with a small growl, letting it warm up before taking off to his new job.

Anthony sat at his desk, writing some stuff down when he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in."

Ryudo walked in as Anthony smiled a big smile.

"Welcome to your new home Ryudo."

"Thanks," Ryudo chuckled, taking a seat.

Anthony reached into his desk drawer, fishing around until he found the folder he was looking for.

"Alright, lets get you into the system. Fill these out for me. Just the standard application and what not."

"Okay," Ryudo nodded, filling out the papers as Anthony typed away in the computer.

Once he was done, he waited for Anthony to finish as he looked on. The printer came to life as it spit out a couple of pages which Anthony stapled together and handed to Ryudo.

"Alright, these explain everything that you'll be in charge of so read it well."

Ryudo looked through the paper, reading everything that he was responsible for. It was quite a large list from regular newspaper orders for the cafeteria to complicated surgeries.

"Most of the stuff on there you don't have to worry about as some of the staff in HR will take care them."

"Will I be able to do surgeries?" Ryudo asked.

"Of course. You didn't think you would sit in this office all day did you? You have to make daily rounds and see how the patients are doing and cheer them up if needed."

"Sounds like fun."

"Oh it is. You get to see the happy faces of all the hybrids you help get better."

Ryudo smiled at that as Anthony's phone rang.

"Dr. Edwards?"

"Yes Rebecca?" Anthony said, hitting the speaker button.

"The staff meeting is in five minutes and everybody is awaiting your arrival."

"Okay. I'll be right there," Anthony replied. "This is a great chance for you to meet some of the people. Come on."

"Okay," Ryudo said, getting up and following Anthony out of his office and down the hall.

They walked to a pair of double doors marked Conference Room and walked in. Inside sitting at a large square table were eight people, two of them were hybrids. They all looked at Ryudo when he entered and wondered why he was here.

"Good morning everybody," Anthony spoke up.

"Morning Dr. Edwards," they all said in response.

"May I introduce, Ryudo Peterson, the next superintendent of this hospital."

"Peterson? You mean the rich, businessman Peterson?" a man spoke up.

"The same one," Anthony replied.

Everybody looked at one another before back at Ryudo as he took a seat next to Anthony.

"Okay, what's first on the agenda?" Anthony asked.

"We need to address the issue of our supplies. It seems like vendors don't like to supply us the stuff we need to keep this hospital running right," one of the hybrids, a tiger spoke up.

"Yes. I've noticed that as well," Anthony said. "I'll make sure to call the appropriate people and find out what's going on."

"So, you really are leaving us huh Anthony?" a lady said

Anthony gave a smile before nodding his head.

"Its been a great eight years with all of you, but I think its time for me to pass the torch onto somebody better gifted."

"How do we know he isn't here for his own personal gain?" the second hybrid, a raccoon spoke up. "He comes from a rich family, so more then likely, this is just a publicity stunt."

Ryudo looked at the raccoon, its tail twitching from side to side.

"Well I can assure you mister....?"

"Phillip."

"Well Mr. Phillip, I can assure you that this is no publicity stunt. I spent years studying and going through tons of criticism to get where I am. I'm here, because I want to be here."

Phillip looked into Ryudo's grey eyes, before giving a huff and turning his head. Anthony chuckled before shaking his head.

"Don't mind Phillip. He's a little sensitive. Now then, I'll introduce you to everybody that is here. The lady is HR director Mari Godi. Next to her is head surgeon Nelson Hunt. Phillip is in charge of maintenance and the tiger, Glenn, is your electrician."

Glenn nodded his head along with Ryudo.

"The other two people are Tony Hinas, your head pharmacist, and Vincent Gold, your head physical therapist to get all the hybrids back into shape after surgery."

They gave Ryudo a nod which he returned.

"Anybody have any questions?" Anthony asked.

Nobody spoke making him smile. He was about to speak again when the intercom went off.

"Dr. Edwards and Dr. Hunt, please report to surgery immediately."

"Seems like we need to go. Ryudo, feel free to walk around and get to know the nurses and other personnel that work here. You'll have to meet them sooner or later. Hunt, let's go."

Everybody watched them leave in a hurry as the room went quiet.

"So," Ryudo spoke up. "I hope we could be able to work together to provide hybrids the care they need?"

"That's what we're here for isn't?" Hinas said getting up and taking a stretch. "I'm going to head back to the pharmacy. Stop on by if you want."

Ryudo watch Hinas leave as Godi got up.

"I look forward to working with you Ryudo. Anthony told me a little bit about you and I can't wait to see you in action."

Phillip and Glenn looked at Ryudo before each other.

"I still believe you're here for some other motive than helping us. I'll be watching you."

Phillip got up and left the room as Glenn stood up and approached Ryudo, holding his paw out.

"Don't mind Glenn. He'll take some time to get use to. Welcome aboard."

"Thanks," Ryudo said, shaking his paw.

"I need to make the rounds to see if all the circuits boxes are working. If you need anything, come to my office on the first floor."

"Will do. Thanks."

Ryudo watched him leave before taking in a breath.

"Off to a good start," he said sarcastically. "Let's go say hi to everybody."

Gail sat on the swing, enjoying the cool breeze that rustled his fur. His ears perked up as he saw Kurt exiting the house.

"Hey Kurt!"

Kurt looked over and smiled.

"Welcome back Gail! I heard about what happened between you and Ryudo," Kurt said, walking to the fence and leaning on it.

"Yeah, it was kind of a bad scene," Gail replied, folding his ears a little.

"I'm glad to see you guys are back together. You two do make a cute couple."

Gail blushed at that before chuckling a little. Nick landed down as Gail's tail wagged happily.

"Hey Nick!"

"Hey Gail. Is your mom asleep?"

"No. She should be in the front sewing."

"Thanks," Nick smiled before walking to the front.

Kurt looked at Nick before back at Gail.

"Who's that?"

"That's Nick. Mom's got a heavy crush on him."

"I see," Kurt replied softly. "Well, tell you mom I said hi. I need to get back to my chores."

"Will do," Gail said.

He watched him leave before heading inside. Shelly and Nick were cuddling together on the couch and jumped a little when Gail walked in.

"Did I come in at a bad time?" Gail chuckled.

"Don't get fresh boy," Shelly grinned.

"Sorry," Gail chuckled. "I'm going to do some more training upstairs."

He walked upstairs and started the computer up. Sitting down, he went through the lessons quickly, getting bored after awhile. He went on the internet, going to different sites until a site popped up that made him give an evil smile.

Ryudo sat in Anthony's office, doing some more paperwork. He got to talk to most of the staff, which seemed to take a little liking to him but he knew it would take time. Anthony walked in with a smile before taking a seat behind his desk.

"So," he said, bringing out a bottle of water. "Did you enjoy your first day?"

"It was pretty cool. There are still a lot of people I have to meet and greet."

"That could take a while," Anthony chuckled. "But like I said before, everybody here likes what they are doing, even if they have the look of utter disgust on their face."

"Yeah, I noticed that," Ryudo replied.

Anthony took another swig before screwing the cap on.

"I'm really glad you decide to take over for me. You don't know how relieved I am."

Ryudo chuckled before finishing up the last of the paperwork.

"Who would you have went with if I didn't come here?"

"You really want to know?"

"You piqued my curiosity."

Anthony chuckled before opening a draw and pulling out a folder, handing it to Ryudo. Ryudo took it and opened it up, eyes going wide at who picture was there.

"You would've choose this prick?"

The guy in question was Derrick Thomas. He was how you say, Ryudo's evil twin. He was a smart as Ryudo in terms of hybrids medical procedures and medicine. But the one thing he wanted that Ryudo didn't, was Jessica. Derrick tried everything he could to get Jessica to notice him, but nothing worked. He told her that he was just as smart as him and more talented but she heard none of it. Thus started the heated rivalry that Derrick started in his head between them. Ryudo didn't really care and paid him no mind.

"It seems you know him?"

"Not really," Ryudo said, closing the folder. "He was just a big copycat that was obsessed in trying to outdo me in everything. I give him credit for being as smart as me, but when it comes down to it, its all about him."

"I see," Anthony said, putting the folder back in the draw. "Do you think he would've kept the hospital the same as it is now?"

"Probably not," Ryudo shrugged. "He would've turned it into something fit for him and only him."

"Well then, I'm really glad you decided to take the job," Anthony chuckled.

He looked at the computer screen, seeing the time said seven thirty.

"I would introduce you to the night crew, but you probably had enough for today."

"Yeah. I'm a little bit peckish too."

"Well then, I'll let you go home and get something to eat and some sleep. I'll see you back here tomorrow around eight, if that's okay with you?"

"That's good for me. I'll see you tomorrow Dr. Edwards," Ryudo said, getting up and holding his hand out.

"See you tomorrow, Dr. Peterson."

Ryudo gave a smile before exiting his office and down to the first floor lobby. He exited the hospital into the cool evening night and gave a sigh.

"Interesting first day if I say so myself. Time to head home and get something to eat."

Hopping in his car, he headed home, his mind focused on food as his stomach growled its anger on being empty. Pulling into the driveway, he turned his car off and headed up the path to the front door. Walking inside, he heard giggling coming from the front. He closed the door softly and snuck up to the living room, peeking around the corner to see Shelly and Nick on the couch making out and giggling to each other.

"Don't mess up my couch please," Ryudo chuckled making them both yelp in surprise.

"Ryudo! Stars above, I told you to stop scaring me like that," Shelly half growled.

"Sorry. I thought you would've heard me come in if you weren't sucking muzzle," Ryudo laughed.

They both blushed hard, giving each other a little space on the couch.

"Don't mind me though. I'm going to grab a bite to eat and head up for the night."

"Okay Ryudo. Have a good night."

"Not as good as you'll have," Ryudo chuckled making her ears go red.

He walked into the kitchen, finding something quick to eat as he didn't want to wash that much dishes. Satisfied with his dinner of canned beef stew and mixed veggies, he went up to his room. His door was closed so he figured Gail must be already asleep. Opening the door, the light was off, leaving the room in darkness. He went to turn on the switch when his arm was grabbed and he was forced onto the bed.

"What is...mmm.."

He couldn't finish as something was jammed into his mouth. Judging by the taste, it was a sock. At least it was clean. He felt something metal go around both his wrists with an audible click, the unmistakable sound of handcuffs. What the hell was going on? Was somebody kidnapping him?

"I have you right where I want you now," a rough growling voice said.

Ryudo couldn't believe his ears. The light turned on as Ryudo saw Gail standing there in nothing but a pair of boxers, half an erection poking from the exposed flap.

"You're probably wondering why I'm doing this aren't you Ryudo?" Gail chuckled, looking into his confused eyes. "Its quite simple really. I'm going to make you pay for hurting me like you did."

With a seductive lick of his lips, he walked up to the handcuffed Ryudo and gave his nose a quick lick before straddling his waist. His hands roamed Ryudo's chest before using his claw and ripped it down the middle making Ryudo give a muffled scream of protest.

"Relax, and let me do all the work."

He bent over and licked his exposed chest, getting a shiver from Ryudo making him smile as he drew his tongue his tongue up his body to his neck, where he gave it a small nip. A dominant growl came from Gail's throat as his teeth felt the pumping of the jugular vein.

"As much as I like playing with my prey, I have other 'things' I want to play with."

With a murr, he slid down Ryudo's body, inhaling his scent that a mixture of fear, arousal, and sweat. Reaching his pants, he undid them quickly, sliding them off his body and tossing them onto the ground along with his boxers, exposing his semi flaccid cock to the air making Ryudo shiver.

"I've been wanting this for a while now," Gail murred, sticking his nose right into his crotch and inhaling deeply that musky scent making Ryudo tense from the cold nose.

He stuck his tongue out and gave it a quick lick. He watched the semi flaccid cock grow rigid in a matter of seconds making him murr.

"There we go. Now for my treat."

Gail let his soft, pink tongue trail from the balls slowly up to the head making Ryudo groan around the sock. He smiled at the sound before using his tongue to stimulate the nerves around the tip, earning another groan as pre started to form. With a moan, Gail slowly engulfed that wonderful penis, making sure to rub the tip across the ridges on the roof of his mouth. His nose met his pubic hair, smelling the arousal before moving his head slowly back up.

Ryudo closed his eyes tightly, feeling his pleasure spike slowly and surely. He really wasn't into handcuffs, but at the moment, he could care less. He let out a muffled groan at the attention his cock was getting as pre was starting to spill more rapidly. Gail let out a murr, tasting the salty goodness as he trailed his claws slowly up and down Ryudo body, making sure to dig his claws into his skin but not enough to draw blood. The added sensation made Ryudo squirm under the ministrations as he guided his hands to rub Gail's head. This got a growl from him as he release his cock with a slurp.

"Who said you could touch me?"

He grabbed Ryudo's hands and using the key, unlocked one hand before quickly wrapping the handcuff around the bedpost and locking it up.

"Much better. Now then, where was I?" he murred happily.

He went back to his saliva covered treat, taking it happily in his muzzle and moving his head up and down with a little more speed. Ryudo strained against the restraints, eyes closed as pleasure started to cloud his mind. He was so focused on the oral pleasure he was receiving, that he didn't see the evil grin on Gail's face as he trailed a single claw down to that tight anal ring. His eyes widened in shock when Gail applied pressure making give a muffled scream around the sock.

"So tense down there," Gail murred, letting go of his cock as it flopped down onto Ryudo's stomach covered in saliva. "How about we fix that?"

The evil grin never left Gail's muzzle as he got up from the bed and went to the dresser, opening it up and finding the lube Ryudo used on him. Popping the top, he applied a little to Ryudo's hole and slowly pushed his finger in with a slick pop. Ryudo let out a groan, tensing his muscles as he felt his body getting penetrated. He never thought he would be on the receiving end. A groan escaped him as Gail slowly withdrew his finger, making him relax.

Gail watched his reaction, smiling when he felt his body relax. He pushed his finger in a little deeper, moving it around to loosen him up for what was to come. Seeing that he was comfortable, he went a little faster, pushing deeper before hitting that love button making Ryudo's cock shoot a shot of pre onto his chest and moan loudly.

"Seems I've struck gold. But I think its time we moved on, wouldn't you agree?"

He withdrew his finger before standing up and sliding his boxers down. His cock bobbed freely in the air, pre dribbling down the obsidian length making it shine. Ryudo opened his eyes in time to see Gail lubing up his phallus. He was nervous about this, there was no doubt about it. Gail looked into those nervous eyes before leaning down and licking his nose.

"Don't worry Ryudo. I'll try not to hurt you.......much."

That didn't help ease Ryudo any as he felt his legs go around Gail's back. His heartbeat sped up as the tip of Gail's cock probed his ring, smearing some of the pre around it. With a grin, Gail pushed in slowly, his tip popping into the tight hole with a slick pop. Ryudo let out a loud, muffled scream feeling the penetration and squirmed in his restraints.

"Relax Ryudo," Gail groaned out, loving the heat and tightness around his phallus. "I'm almost in."

Ryudo breathed heavily through his nose, feeling his anal passage expanded to accommodate the intruder. He closed his eyes tightly, trying his best to relax his body. Before long, he felt Gail's furry hips rest against his.

"There we go. Such a snug fit, wouldn't you agree?"

Ryudo couldn't even respond as his body was on fire. He never felt pain like this before. Soft licks to his neck and nipples from Gail were gradually making him relax enough and release the death hold he had on the cock deep inside him. Once Gail felt the resistance weaken a little, he looked into Ryudo eyes and gave a grin.

"Now, its my turn to claim you as mine."

With a growl, he pulled out slowly from the tight confines up to the tip, before pushing back in slowly. A moan escaped his muzzle as he started a slow motion, getting Ryudo use to the penetration. His instincts screamed to take him hard and fast, implanting his seed deep into that tight, snug hole. But he didn't want to hurt Ryudo, he just wanted to have a little fun. He would probably pay for this later but right now, it was his turn and he was loving every second.

His ears picked up the slight moan coming from Ryudo making him smile. He gave a groan as he slowly but surely, began to pick up the pace a little. Ryudo's body tense but relaxed at the sudden pick up of speed. He could feel the hot spurts of pre coating his passage and making it slicker for easier penetration. Without caring, he started to push back against Gail's thrusts making him growl in response.

"Now that you're relaxed, let's up the speed."

He grabbed Ryudo's legs and put them on his shoulders and leaned down, his paws on his shoulders as he proceeded to drive into him. Ryudo let out a deep seated moan at the angle, his prostate getting crushed with each strong jab making his cock jerk. Gail was growling loudly, his instinct starting to kick in. His tail was raised high in dominance as his furry balls slapped hard against the firm ass he was pounding.

The bed shook with each hard thrust as the sound of heavy breathing and the hard impact of body meeting body filled the room. Sweat began to appear on Ryudo's body as he felt his body heat up. He never thought it would feel this good. Gail's cock was hitting him in all the right spots, making him tighten up around Gail causing even more pleasure to spike up his spine, making his hackles rise and bare his teeth. Gail started to whimper, feeling his climax start to build as his balls started to pull into his body.

"Its.....coming Ryudo. I'm going......to claim.....you as mine."

Gail drove himself faster into Ryudo's body, dropping Ryudo's legs down and burying his face in his neck, whimpering loudly. He could feel it coming faster and faster as he dug his claws into Ryudo's hips, drawing blood. A growl escaped him before latching his teeth onto Ryudo's shoulders making him give a muffled scream and squirm to get away. This cause Gail to growl evilly as he bit harder, the metallic taste of blood coated his tongue.

"Don't.....resist me. Take everything......I give you," Gail growled, panting hotly.

Gail felt it coming as he pushed himself harder into Ryudo. He didn't want it to end, but all things must. His balls pulled painfully into his body, waiting to explode at a moments notice. He gave a couple more deep thrusts before hilting him and letting out a loud whine. Ryudo felt the cock inside him throb violently and swell before he was filled with with Gail's cum. The hot, sticky substance filled him to the brim as spurt after spurt sprayed from the tip.

Gail held him close, shivering heavily at each shot of sperm that he injected into Ryudo's body. He thought the first night they mated was intense, this was a hundred times better. He knew this wasn't suppose to be the way the relationship works, but he knew Ryudo treated him like an equal instead of a slave. A whimper escaped him as he felt his cum seep out Ryudo's ass and onto his waist. He was a little disappointed he didn't have a knot, but that didn't matter. All that mattered, was that he and Ryudo were now one.

"Mmm, now that was magical," Gail said breathlessly in Ryudo's ear. As he laid on top of him recovering his breath.

They both were out of breath and laid there, listening to the heavy breathing of each other. Gail got his strength back first as he sat up and looked down at Ryudo. His stomach was covered with pre as his cock twitched, threatening to exploded at the slightest touch.

"Poor Ryudo," Gail murred, looking down at the throbbing penis. "You didn't get off did you? Maybe I can help with that, only if you want it?"

Ryudo nodded his head quickly, wanting to relieve this throbbing sensation.

"I don't know. You don't sound like you want it," Gail said, taking his shrinking, cum coated member out of Ryudo's ass slowly and shivering.

Ryudo strained on the handcuffs, muffling his answer angrily. Gail giggled at the response before reaching down and gripping Ryudo's cock lightly making him groan heavily.

"Wow, it feels hot. Looks ready to blow too. Do you want to cum in me Ryudo?"

Ryudo nodded his head vigorously. Gail smiled before reaching for the lube. He smeared a little of the cool substance on Ryudo's painfully hard cock and slicked it up, loving the moans he was coaxing out of him. Once that was all slicked up, he applied some to his tail hole, shivering at the cold sensation. Satisfied with the job, he tossed the lube back on the dresser before slowly crawling onto Ryudo's lap.

"I guess you deserve to let out a little stress," Gail murred, aligning the hot, throbbing piece of meat under his tail.

He pushed down slowly, letting out a yip as the head popped into his backside. That full feeling came back to him just the like the first night as he he slowly impaled himself onto Ryudo. Ryudo let out a groan, feeling that tight hole cover his penis in warmth. He pulled at the handcuffs wanting to drive Gail onto him. Gail let out a sigh, tongue lolling out his muzzle as he sat fully on Ryudo's lap.

"Mmm, feels bigger than the first time. You ready big boy?"

Ryudo nodded hastily as Gail smiled. Very slowly, he lifted up, making sure to squeeze that cock in him hard before relaxing and taking it back into his body. The slow pace was torturous for Ryudo. He was teetering on the edge of a powerful climax that came on strong when Gail moved up but disappeared when he came back down. His body became desperate as the next time Gail came down he lifted his hips upward to met him. That got a growl from Gail who straddled his hips and shook his head.

"No thrusting Ryudo. You haven't earned it yet."

Obscenities were being muffled by the sock that Ryudo yelled out making Gail giggle.

"Well, if that's the way you want to act, I guess you don't want to cum."

He started to raise up completely off him and Ryudo shook his head.

"Are you going to behave?"

Ryudo nodded his head.

"Good. Now then, shall we continue?"

He resumed his pace, rising and falling in a pattern to maximum both their pleasures. Every time he would come down, he would rotate his hips, jabbing his prostate causing his penis to come back to life, shooting pre onto Ryudo's already sweaty chest. He let out a small whine, bringing his paw up and slowly grasping his member before stroking it to his motions.

Ryudo was breathing hard through his nose, pleasure exploding through every part of his body. He wanted so much to plow into the hyena on top of him but he couldn't cause of the handcuffs. Oh, he was so going to make Gail pay for this. His eyes rolled into the back of his head as he let out a loud groan, his cock spilling pre into Gail's thrusting ass.

"You feel so good Ryudo. I think you deserve a reward."

He hilted himself, leaning down and licking his nose before removing the sock. Once the sock was removed, Ryudo let out a few coughs, trying to get the taste back into his palate before his lips were locked with Gail's. They broke off, both of them panting happily as they gazed into each others eyes.

"You know I'm going to get you back for this right?" Ryudo grinned.

"I know you will," Gail blushed. "But I couldn't help myself."

"Well don't you think you should finish what you started?"

"Maybe. I kind of enjoyed being top."

Ryudo chuckled before licking his lips.

"And I didn't mind being the bottom. We could do this more often."

Gail's ears perked up as his tail wagged happily.

"Then I guess we shouldn't waste anymore time then.," Gail murred before resuming his motions, this time with a little more speed.

They both let out moans of pleasure as their respective peaks started to reappear again. Gail's paw returned to his cock, speeding up his stroking as he whimpered loudly. Ryudo met Gail's downwards thrust with his own, driving his cock deeper into Gail, striking his prostate harder and harder.

"Fuck Gail......I'm going to...."

"Claim me.....again Ryudo," Gail growled, his paw a blur on his cock. "Shoot your cum.....deep into me."

No other words were spoken as they concentrated on the explosive climax that was about to punch both their lights out. Gail's whines started to turn into moans, growing louder by the second. Ryudo didn't care if people heard as he joined Gail in letting out loud moans. Ryudo tensed up, he could feel Gail, start to squeeze him harder and harder. He gritted his teeth, driving his hips into Gail until he let out a yell, his cock twitching hard before exploding.

Gail's ears folded, feeling the hot cum coat his bowels. With one final squeeze to his cock, he let out a loud bark, cum shooting from the tip onto Ryudo's chest, a few strands landing on his face and mouth. That tight passage got tighter making Ryudo yell louder in pleasure, pushing as deep as he could. Once they both landed back on Earth, Gail collapsed onto Ryudo, breathing heavily.

"Better....than the first.....time," Gail said out of breath.

"In.....more ways......than one," Ryudo replied. "You mind uncuffing me?"

Gail looked at him before folding his ears.

"You.....won't get mad at me will you?"

Ryudo chuckled before shaking his head.

"Gail....I will never get mad at you ever again."

Gail smiled before uncuffing him. Ryudo rubbed his wrists, getting feeling back into them. He reached over and grabbed Gail in the back of his head before mashing his lips against his in a heated kiss. He pulled back looking into the lust filled eyes of his hyena before chuckling.

"The only thing I AM mad at you about, is you tore my good shirt."

"I'm sorry. I was just caught in th-"

"Shush," Ryudo said, putting his finger to Gail muzzle. "What's done is done. Time for a shower and some sleep. Care to join me?"

Gail smiled and nodded his head as they both went into the shower. After a quick wash, they got back into the bed, cuddling together before falling asleep quickly.

"Okay Rachel," Ryudo said, taking off the stethoscope. "Your heart sounds a little better then it did yesterday. You're improving which is great."

"Thank you," the collie, Rachel said, putting her shirt back down.

"Don't thank me. Just doing my job," Ryudo smiled, taking off his gloves and tossing them in the garbage. "Now, make sure you don't do anything stressful for a week."

"Okay."

Ryudo gave a smile before exiting the room and writing some stuff down into the folder. He walked over to the nurses desk and handed the folder to the nurse.

"Make sure Rachel doesn't do anything stressful. Her heart is still a little weak."

"Yes Dr. Peterson. Oh yeah, you have a visitor in your office."

"I do? Who?"

"A young lady with a man."

Ryudo groaned inside. He knew exactly who was there but the man was a mystery. He walked down to his office and opened the door to see Jessica sitting there with none other Derrick.

"What the fuck do you want Jessica? I don't have time for your bullshit today."

Jessica smiled before walking up to Ryudo and circling him.

"My, you do look sexy in that doctor's coat."

"Again, what the fuck do you want?"

She smiled before tossing a folder she was holding onto his desk. He looked at her before walking over to his desk.

"So you decided to give him a mercy fuck huh?" Ryudo said, looking at Derrick.

"Har har, very funny," Derrick replied.

Ryudo sat down before picking up the folder.

"So what's inside? A restraining order?"

"You'll see," Jessica smiled evilly.

Ryudo raised an eyebrow before opening it. What he saw inside made his heart stop. Pictures of him and Justin, locked in a deep kiss by the lake. His blood went cold and he swallowed hard.

"I told you if you wanted to play this game, I could play it better," Jessica chuckled.

Ryudo gritted his teeth. Justin said he heard something, but he didn't believe him.

"Got caught with your hand in the hybrid jar huh, Ryudo?" Derrick smiled, running a hand through his hair.

Ryudo looked evilly at Jessica who did nothing but smile.

"What do you want you bitch?"

"Its simple really," she said, leaning onto the desk and bringing her face close to his ear. "I want you."
