#65 of Iron Dragon

Alyvia and Jenny reloaded on the run. In a few short minuets they had found a couple of the council members and Glados' followers. Despite the fact some of the council had tried to screw her over, Jenny couldn't leave them behind. Alyvia would have agreed with either choice Jenny made. The Velopian thought of Jenny as her friend, those on the council were enemies of her friend. Jenny hoped it would not come back to bite her in the ass later.

"Jenny, Alyvia stay back it's a trap!" Mianth yelled and struggled to pull the chains apart or out of the ground. Made of an anti elemental material it kept her from using any of her magic or strength. She had wanted to yell hurry up and free her, but chose the warning to maintain a little pride as a dragon. Truth be told she really hated everything about this.

Jenny and Alyvia jinxed at just the right moment to avoid the falling blocks. The next trap might have worked if Jenny was not currently metal and Alyvia encased in armor. The agile pair made it over to Mianth with little problem. "I don't think we would score well in grace and elegance, but we did make it."

"Where are the others?" Mianth asked nervously and cried out when Jenny quickly pulled out one of the bobby pins in her hair. "Owe... what did you do that for?"

"Sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. Hold out your hands." Jenny said and holstered her gun before bending the hair pin.

"I thought that only worked in movies." Alyvia said as she partly kept an eye out for trouble and watched Jenny try and pick the magic lock. She also made sure none of the council they had found wandered off too far.

Jenny worked slowly, she didn't want to make it worse. "I was not the most well behaved kid my parents had... Fuck... Hey! Would one of you council monsters do something useful, like get these chains off her?"

"I will try." A short furry monster with big teeth said. Actually he produced a key ring with dozens of keys on it. "This might take a little bit."

"Morgor watch for traps!" Alyvia yelled as she spotted the group he led. It only took a few moments for the key monster as Jenny decided to call him found the correct key and opened the locks.

With all but two of their party now accounted for, and Mianth free from the chains. Nodrog had them start heading for one of the ways out. Roslyn and Sephya would cross their path a little further out. Unfortunately the nullification was a double edged sword, because he had no way to search for enemies. As the group found out when they ran into a large group of armed troops.

"Dallarth, can't you get the dragontaur to stop and change sides?" Mianth asked. The ones that really frightened her were the two mammothtaur. The dragon and mammoth were like centaurs in build, but were considerably bigger and more dangerous. The mammoth's temperament made Nodrog and Dallarth look like pillars of calm and rational action. Mammothtaur only had two moods; mad and angry.

"I don't think so Mianth... Look in their eyes." Dallarth said and readied her sword in one hand and magic in her other. It would be so simple if there was enough room to take her true form. Most of those that were advancing on them had unfocused eyes and blank expressions. They were not here willingly. It made even the shadow dragon give pause before killing them.

The group spread out and those who were armed and willing to fight tried to keep the attention of the mindless warriors busy. While hopefully allowing Mianth and the non combatants had opportunity to sneak out. It would have worked had there not been a few fully aware warriors in the group. Two of which were the giant mammothtaur.

With Beatrice and Dallarth standing between a small group and the two mammothtaur. They each had an uncomforting sense of experiencing their gruesome deaths for a second time as the two giants raised their massive machetes over their heads. Unaware that Roslyn and Sephya had arrived a few moments ago.

"Hey, does your armor have sound suppressors?" Roslyn asked as she and Sephya stopped at the end of a tunnel. Slightly above and behind the others. They had a bird's eye view and Roslyn spotted Dallarth and Beatrice just as the two giant men mammoth things raised their weapons.

"Of course. Why do you ask?" Sephya asked.

Roslyn un slung the double gun and pulled back both hammers. She shouldered the gun and aimed. "You are going to want them on."

Just as Beatrice thought it was the end, she flinched from the loud boom that echoed in the chamber they were in. The taur standing in front of her roared in pain as one of the monster nitro slugs shattered the bone in his upper arm, tearing away a large chunk of flesh. The other was not so lucky as the nitro round blew his head apart like a hammer hitting an over ripe watermelon.

They all glanced up and saw Sephya standing next to Roslyn. The otter's eyes glowed pale blue and Roslyn appeared to have a pair of raven feathered wings. It was a short lived pause. Roslyn thumbed the breach lock over, cracked open the gun dropping the enormous spent brass shells on the ground. She put two rounds in, closed the breach and pulled back the hammers as she shouldered the gun taking aim once more. Sephya shouldered her own energy gun and the two laid down a steady stream of rounds.

Roslyn reloaded the gun and slung it back over her shoulder. While whatever change she had painfully gone through had made her stronger, faster and tougher... it was still a damn big gun with a hell of a kick. She was itching to try out her wings and a few other things she remembered from her previous life as a Valkyrie.

Sephya and Roslyn jumped down and engaged in close combat. Roslyn's current body effortlessly caste magic her old body had spent a hundred years learning. Just as her fist struck one of the dragontaur, bolts of electricity danced along her forearm and shot into the dragon. The creature howled and doubled over in pain. It brought a smile to Roslyn's face. "Oh to be fully alive once more."

The Velopian warriors quickly fell into close range squad combat. The four augmented female warriors made quick work of the lesser foes and a few dragontaur. With them concentrating on the weaker foes, it allowed Dallarth, Morgor and Derrain to take care of the strongest foes. Jenny, Beatrice and Dagger focusing on protecting those that did not fight. Roslyn and Faurl were a little more hot headed and just went after whomever was within reach.

There was another tremendous boom, but it came from above ground and another followed shortly, dirt and rock fell from the ceiling of the underground room they were currently in. What was worse, Omega's blackout seemed to have stopped.

"We need to leave!" Dallarth yelled over the din of gunfire and mild earthquakes.

"Over here!" Mianth yelled as she and the others had managed to sneak away. Thanks to Jenny and the typhoons.

Jenny was glad whatever magic had enslaved the others faded and the fighting quickly turned into everyone trying to escape the underground. They ran up stairs and down a long hallway making it outside just as Glados smashed Omega's skull spraying the dragon's sickening green orange blood over a large area and a number of people trying to flee the coliseum stands.

"STOP LAUGHING!" Glados screamed as she continued to brutally beat and tear at Omega. Parts of the nightmare were scattered about the coliseum floor and blood was nearly everywhere. Glados' hands and arms were caked in blood and sludge.

Mianth and several others got sick from the sight alone, the rancid stench only made it worse. Dallarth managed to keep her lunch down and ran over to, two injured elder dragons. Both looked like they had tried to stop the colossal white dragon. "How badly are you hurt?"

"Glados is completely mad... you need to take the others to safety before she regains her focus." One of the elders groaned. The dragon was in her true form and split nearly from groin to gullet.

"Dallarth we were wrong... About so many things." The other elder dragon said and Dallarth looked back at Glados as he drew his last breath. The raven winged otter was walking right out into the open.

Actually Roslyn wasn't walking, she was marching like a woman scorned. Glados was... Twitchy for a lack of a better term at the moment, Roslyn thought. The dragon was not really speaking Draconic or Elf, mainly incoherent gibberish. Her movements were jerky and inconsistent. Roslyn knew her mind was completely gone just from the glazed and unfocused look in her eyes.

Gabriel, the angels with him, and the underworld Death Knights watched as the reborn Valkyrie drew out a ruin in the field that none of them had seen since the Valkyrie disappeared. Both sides had to intervene for the monster and mortal's behalf since Glados was a lesser dragon goddess. Contrary to popular belief the angels and demons did not want a full scale war.

With the ruin hopefully drawn correctly Roslyn shouldered the double gun and despite knowing it was going to hurt, pulled both triggers. Roslyn held her ground as the colossal white dragon roared in pain before focusing on her and cursing her in Draconic.

"HOW DARE YOU PITIFUL BUG! YOU ARE NOT EVEN WORTH SQUASHING!" Glados screamed and opened her mouth to burn the wretched Valkyrie to ash again.

Roslyn cursed back, activated the ruin and pointed her finger up at the open mouth. "FIRE!"

One of the giant guns raised from the glowing ruin. Glados almost realized to late, the giant shell punched a hole through her throat, having moved just enough to not take the round in her skull. Even more of the truth was revealed as the Glados the Pure, bled black.

As the pure dragon rolled on the ground gurgling curses at Roslyn. Omega Nightmare was once more completely whole in an eye blink. Even the nightmarish blood was gone from the field as if he had never been attacked. "Do not look away! Take a look at the one behind it all!" Omega screeched.

"The thousand years war. The fall of the Valkyrie. The death of my generals. Black Blood... All of it decided and carried out by Glados the Pure." Omega spoke with varying pitch and tone.

"I killed you. You cannot be alive..." Glados said as she tried to stop the bleeding. She was healing, but not very fast at the moment.

Omega spoke softly. "You killed me twice. Thisss time isss different. Because I cannot die, you have sssstolen even that from meee."

The usual malice and hate Omega's speech always carried was gone. The nightmare dragon had truly lost everything. The only difference now, was everyone saw it. Time was something Glados always had on her side. Six months or six hundred years to get a single piece of a puzzle in place was nothing to her. All of those carefully laid plans now useless.

"Everything I have done has made you stronger and this is the thanks I get?" Glados yelled and lashed out at Omega.

"To what end? You sstole everything from meee! I do not even get the pleasure of death anymore!" Omega screamed. This time its giant navel guns answering the white dragon's attacks with their deafening boom.

They traded hellish blow for hellish blow. The ground quaking with nearly every hit. However Omega healed so much faster. Glados cut off an arm, sticky sludge lashed out to the limb and pulled itself back whole before it had a chance to hit the ground. With the two colossal dragons once more locked in battle, most everyone else retreated.

Roslyn and Dallarth shrugged off the attempts of the others to make them retreat. The shadow dragon and the raven winged Valkyrie stood and watched. As did the two green skinned Watchers. Roslyn only looked away when Gabriel walked up and put a hand on her shoulder.

"I had thought we would never see one of your kind again." Gabriel said and watched the nightmare dragon fight the pure dragon. It was more like watching a cat torment a mouse. Omega was just so much more powerful than Glados.

"It has been a long time. I spent my adult life trying to forget the dreams and nightmares I had as a little girl. Now, I wonder if I should have embraced them." Roslyn said.

"Indeed. I wonder if more of your sisters will awaken." A Death Knight said.

Roslyn crossed her arms. She was still Roslyn White, but she was so much more now. A wealth of knowledge had opened itself to her. "If they do I will welcome them with open arms."

"You know, this makes you eligible to be on the monster council." Dallarth said with a coy smile.

"Fuck that. I am not cut out for that kind of crap. The others would agitate me to no end." Roslyn chuckled.

The Death Knight laughed. "It is good to hear all that time sleeping has not dulled your shine, Rose the Iron Raven."

Roslyn grunted. "That was my fire fighting nickname... Iron Raven."

"Fate loves irony and coincidence." Gabriel said with a chuckle. They ducked as a stray cannon round went screaming past. They had moved to the upper most tier of the coliseum. Mainly so they did not have to worry about falling debris from the ground shaking fight.

"The Iron Dragon and the Iron Raven. Now I see why I never had a chance with him in that life or this one." Dallarth chuckled.

"Do not feel bad Dallarth. After all, the Iron Raven was the Valkyrie beauty everyone wanted to be with." Gabriel said.

"She still is a beauty, and still out of our reach." The Death Knight said.

Roslyn blushed. Apparently, she never really paid attention to the way everyone looked at her in this life or her past one. "I think the fight is over."

The white dragon no longer moved, Glados the Pure was dead. Omega squealed with glee and opened its jaws far wider then should be possible. The crunch of bone and tearing of flesh could be heard echoing in the coliseum. The nightmare dragon fed on the corpse of the dragon of light.

Roslyn watched as a gateway opened and several Death Knights came out. "What is going on now?"

"Considering all the evil Glados has done. Her soul is coming with us." The Death Knight said.

"Actually, I think Omega has a different idea." Dallarth said as the nightmare howled.

Glados had been glad the bond between her soul and her body had been severed. For that matter she was glad the Death Knights had come to take her away. But that damned abomination would not let her escape to even the underworld.

Roslyn flew down to the coliseum floor with the others. That was something she figured would never get old. Omega had fired harpoons at Glados' soul chaining her to him. She knew what he wanted and after what had happened. Roslyn was more than happy to let him eat her soul.

"Omega. It is over and you have proven your innocence. Let her go." Gabriel said.

"No. After everything ssshe has taken from me. I will not let her even have the comfortsss of hell itself." Omega hissed. Its massive claws digging into the ground, the chains groaning in protest, as it pulled on Glados' very soul. A nightmarish tug of war with the evil that lurked in the underworld.

"Is it bad that I agree with Omega?" Roslyn asked.

Dallarth crossed her arms and gave it a little thought. "Hard to say, because I can see his point. She took away his ability to have the freedom of death. Why should she be allowed to die with the possibility of her soul being reborn?"

Roslyn and Dallarth could not hear Glados, but they could clearly see she was terrified by their suggestion. The dragon soul struggled against the chains that bound it to the nightmare dragon. Redoubling her efforts as the chain that was dragging her to hell went limp. They did however hear the bone chilling laugh coming from the gateway to hell.

"My master thinks that is a fair outcome. What say you Heavens Guard?" The Death Knight asked.

Gabriel spoke in a language neither Dallarth or Roslyn could understand to another angel. Who simply nodded and disappeared, they figured to go ask god. It was barely a few seconds until that angel returned with an answer.

"Glados' soul is your masters to do with as he pleases. As far as we are concerned this issue is concluded." Gabriel said to the Death Knight. He turned to Roslyn. "Take care Valkyrie."

"Until we meet again soldier of light." Roslyn said and bowed. The angels all took to the sky on their wings before vanishing. The large chain leading to hell shattered with more of the laugh that Roslyn knew came from the purest of evil... That still feared the nightmare standing in this world.

Omega again opened its jaws impossibly wide as the chains pulled the soul within reach. Dallarth and Roslyn watched the nightmare dragon eat the soul of the dragon who had killed them so long ago. The two thought the sight of him devouring the soul more gruesome than eating the flesh had been. Probably because it was even more absolute then just death itself.

Omega stood lifting his head and roared in triumphant so loudly it shook the ground. Roslyn, Dallarth and the Watchers had to cover their ears it was so loud. With the gruesome battle finished, those on the council and who had come to witness slowly returned.

Three of the elder dragons had died and several of the council had been killed. Jenny and Roslyn were not really upset over those losses considering what they had done to them. Those still loyal to Glados outnumbered those that had decided the end the farce. However those loyal to Glados had one titanic nightmare standing in the way of furthering the dead dragon's plans. Further infuriating her supporters was by dragon law, Omega Nightmare was now in control of everything Glados had.

Jenny and Roslyn were standing to the side as those on the council and the hunters figured out what they had to do now. It was a rather unprecedented event. Roslyn's eyes had quit glowing once she calmed down and Jenny had returned to her normal not metal self. Omega sat in its quirky manor, with its faceless head tilted to one side. How exactly does a battleship with a head and tail sit?

Mianth stood next to Jenny. The little water dragon greatly relieved the gore was over and they had moved on to diplomacy. She like many others, was a little uneasy with Omega still present. No one made any attempt to hide that fact from anyone, and no one was going to ask him to change form. Mianth certainly did not care if the Amazons thought, less of her for being afraid of Omega Nightmare.

"Are you okay Mianth?" Dagger asked as she and her mother walked over.

Mianth blushed. "I would feel better if he would change back..."

"I think all of us would. Stories and rumors are one thing. Seeing it with your own eyes is something all together different." Beatrice said.

"It certainly forces one to look at some things in a different light. Nodrog the Iron Dragon, Omega Nightmare, the devil dragon, nightmare of nightmares... The monster feared by all monsters has only ever engaged in combat to protect others." Roslyn said and looked up at the sky. The green sun painting an interesting sunset. A bit like the northern lights.

"And yet we had more to fear from a monster that was supposed to be on the side of good and justice. I died by her hands... I watched you die. Everything I thought I knew is just a childhood fantasy. What the fuck am I supposed to believe anymore?" Roslyn said with frustration in her voice.

Chapter.

Jenny put a finger to her lips as she thought about it. She understood Roslyn's position considering how her neat little world had been turned upside down when Alice freed the dragon from the dungeon he was locked in. "Do what I eventually did."

"And what was that?" Dallarth asked.

Jenny smiled. "Threw my hands up in the air and gave up trying to figure it out. I never really believed in religion after all the crap I went through growing up. I prefer science, which is based on facts and evidence... And the occasional unproven theory. I have a degree in biology and everything I know says monsters like Nodrog and Derrain simply cannot be real."

"I am an elemental, does that mean I am not real?" Mianth asked a bit wide eyed.

Roslyn put her hand on Mianth's shoulder. "You were not included because you are flesh and blood, like the rest of us. Nodrog and Derrain are metal and rock. Things not normally thought of as living."

"It is quite fascinating how earth elementals can be a living, sentient beings. We need a certain amount of Oxygen to live, along with a moderate temperature range. I have seen Inilth go outside of a space ship to rescue an injured friend. He had no space suit and was completely unharmed. Our trip to the Grays' world, Derrain and Nodrog were unaffected by the lethal levels of carbon dioxide and cyanide in the air. Granted the grays need tanks with both of those gases to survive on worlds with less." Alyvia said. She could not imagine what her ancestors first thought when they met an elemental of any kind.

"Let us not forget while they retreated to safety the two of us did have a conversation with angels and demons. " Dallarth said with a smile.

"Which leads to another question I have." Roslyn said.

"What is that?" Beatrice asked. She chose to ignore Dallarth's comment.

"Are all demons so well mannered and polite as the Death Knights? The fact the angels and demons were civil to each other was rather unexpected." Roslyn said.

"They have no free will and must act as their creators dictate them to. They only kill each other on command. Each know the other is a puppet same as them." Dallarth said.

"That is a bit harsh." Mianth said.

"It may be, but it is the truth. Actually I am a little lost myself when it comes to religious beliefs since according to my own. Roslyn could possibly be my ancestor reborn. Amazon belief is we are the descendants of the mighty Valkyrie warriors." Beatrice said and shrugged with a smile.

Dagger looked at Roslyn. "So she could be my great grandmother?"

"I think there would be a few more generations of separation considering the time between her death and now." Jenny added and blushed as she looked at Roslyn. "Granted for someone a few thousand years old, you look fantastic."

Roslyn crossed her arms and only shook her head. "What am I going to do with you?... On second thought don't, actually answer that."

Jenny only blushed and giggled. Because she could think of several things and all of them were naughty. Roslyn must have heard the gears turning in her head. "I know we were just fighting for our lives, but the sunset is breath taking. All the colors in the sky and the over growth really are stunning."

They all turned to look in the direction of the setting sun. It had fallen in the hole left behind by the colossal dragon skeleton. The sky filled with blue, yellow and green aurora. Aside from the murmuring they heard, it was mostly quiet and serene. The only thing that was truly out of place was the nightmare dragon. Which had not moved or spoken in a fair amount of time they all realized.

Fires had been lit for light as the remaining council and Hunters went over the rules and laws laid out for choosing new council members. The colossal nightmare was facing the setting sun, its guns and breathing silent. Its dull metal skin reflecting none of the fading sun or bonfire light. Those all casting eerie shadows behind it. Food had been sent down from their ships or some simply gathered fruit from the vegetation that had taken hold of everything. Dinner should have been several hours ago, but Omega and Glados were busy trying to kill the other at that time.

Jenny split a large citrus fruit with Roslyn. They both were glad the dragons all ate meat so they had what both of them would call a hamburger. Though the dragons and Velopians had another word for it. Ground up meat on bread was pretty universal it seemed along with alcohol of some kind. In fact they had not encountered a race that did not brew or ferment some kind of beer or wine.

Roslyn was happy to hear that the Amazons and the Velopians had a number of sports they played on a professional level. After all none of them was really that interested in the process of figuring out the mess Glados had left behind. Plus Jenny likes sports, Mianth was the only one who was not a fan.

"Actually Mianth is a wonderful singer." Alyvia said and giggled at the elemental's embarrassment.

Mianth looked at the ground. "I am not that good..."

Dallarth put her hand on Mianth's shoulder. "You are too hard on yourself. I agree with Alyvia and think you have a beautiful voice."

"All I know are drinking songs." Roslyn chuckled. The fruit tasted like a grapefruit and strawberry soda back on earth, it just lacked the fizz of carbonated water. She hoped it did not have the calories because she wanted to eat a couple more.

"Can you play any instruments Dallarth?" Jenny asked. Nodrog could play the piano and Mianth could sing, Jenny was curious if all dragons could play a musical instrument or sing.

Dallarth was a little surprised by the question. "I play a string instrument similar to a violin on your world. Why do you ask?"

Jenny leaned back. "Just curious, after all I am part feline. I was wondering if all dragons are musically gifted."

"I would vote that most if not all of them are. I have heard Tunrog play an upright bass, and Inilth has a few guitars, though they are rather dusty." Alyvia said as she started to remove some of her armor.

"Do you play anything Jenny?" Dagger asked.

Jenny blushed. "No. I tried for a long time but was never any good."

"Music tends to blur cultural and racial boundaries. Perhaps we are not so different after all." Beatrice said. They had started their own fire as they sat on a world that no one claimed or lived on. This was the longest to her knowledge anyone had been on world for centuries. "Alyvia may I borrow your radio?"

Alyvia unhooked the small device from her armor. "Of course."

"If you will excuse me, I need to send a message back to my world." Beatrice said.

They watched the tall woman walk off. "Any ideas?" Jenny asked and looked at Dagger.

"No. That was a little unexpected... But she has been acting strangely as of late. I hope with all of this done, she will return to normal." Dagger said and watched her mother.

"I know Alice would like for everything to go back to normal." Jenny said and sighed. She was sad because she really liked the adventure, but felt guilty for liking it when Alice did not.

"You could have the ship send her a message." Mianth said.

"Or she could get Nodrog to talk to Alice telepathically." Roslyn said. She knew how Jenny felt. Because when she told her family that she had joined the Air Force they were not really happy for her. It got worse when she signed up to fly tankers for fighting wildfires. Her parents died before she got into flying cargo for cash only.

"How are you going to explain your wings?" Alyvia asked.

Roslyn laughed. "That is a damn good question. Can't really blame it on Jenny or Nodrog..."

"Hey! There is no way that is my fault. Other things maybe, but definitely not that." Jenny pouted.

"I doubt people would believe the whole reincarnation thing." Dallarth said.

Roslyn mused over it a bit. "No, they certainly would not... Being kidnapped by aliens and experimented on would be more believable than the truth."

"So an elaborate lie would be better? I guess I don't understand human logic." Sephya said and shook her head.

"Neither do I, and I am... was human." Roslyn chuckled. She stretched one of her new wings with no thought at all, like it had always been there. "Though this does explain why I enjoy flying so much. Now I don't need a plane to do it, which is awesome."

"I have to admit being able to fly like that would be exciting." Dagger said and was relieved when her mother returned. Pleased with whatever the conversation was about. "Is everything okay?"

"Right as rain. It turned out Tunrog had the forethought to contact our world and let them know we were okay. I was able to speak directly to your older sister. She will be getting the arrangements made for our return." Beatrice said and reached for one of the still warm burgers.

"What sort of arrangements?" Dagger asked.

Beatrice smiled. "Just something for our new friends and allies."

They did not get anything more since Nightrunner and one of the council had come over to request their presence. With Glados not guiding its actions both directly or indirectly, the council was at a bit of a loss. Most of the mortals had gone, their presence no longer needed or wanted. Jenny and the Velopians were allowed to stay.

With Roslyn's true identity revealed for all to see, they did not have a choice on whether she stayed or left. Not that they would have had much say even if she was only human. Since Roslyn always did what she wanted, that was never going to change. At this point she was more interested in a bath than listening to more drivel.

Mean while a considerable distance away, Alice was enjoying a leisurely drive. Currently she was holding her Viper near the RPM limiter, spinning all four tires, in a four wheel drive drift. Just kissing the apex of a corner at one hundred and seventeen miles per hour. Alice fed the monster twin turbo motor more fuel and air as she shot out of the corner like the bullet of a gun.

DJ sitting in the passenger seat screaming in glee or complete terror... Alice was not really sure which as she up shifted. They were closer to down town at a drift course that used a section of closed streets and a parking garage. Alice had only intended on watching, but Carly and Mike managed to get her to change her mind and bring out the snake to play.

"I can hear her screaming over Alice's radio head set." Little Joe said from his normal seat behind the computer gear. Which today was on top of a large rolling tool box. The twins wanted to have tools on hand in case Carly disliked anything about the automatic transmission they built for her. Carly was actually competing this weekend, Alice was just burning rubber for fun and so the twins each got a chance to ride in the hyper eating car they built.

"You aren't going to chicken out TJ?" Katie asked as she bounced her daughter on her leg. Haylie and her both had earmuffs on since they were so close to the track.

"No way. I would never turn down a chance to ride with Alice." TJ boasted.

"I just cannot believe how Alice can sling that big car around on this tight of a course. I'm glad my Mustang is in the Lotus' class and not the Viper's." Carly said. She was sitting between Little Joe and Katie. Joe, TJ, and Wes were standing to one side.

"Pretty sure Alice could win in a bone stock car some days." Joe said as the snake rolled to a stop in their joint pit with Carly's team.

"So how did we do?" TJ asked her sister after DJ had climbed over the railing.

"I'll let you be the judge of that." DJ said a bit nervously. What she hoped was no one would notice her shorts were a little damp, and not because Alice scared the piss out of her. It was for a much different reason, one that she was even having trouble understanding. The twins were a little prudish in some matters.

"You okay?" Wes asked DJ as she walked past.

"Yeah, just need to go to the bathroom. I should have listened and not drank that big soda beforehand." DJ said with a nervous giggle.

"What did you do to my sister?" TJ asked as she buckled in.

"Nothing that I am aware of. Belts tight?" Alice asked as she pushed the clutch pedal down and put the transmission in 1st. Actually she did know, but wanted to see if she could do it three times in a row before saying anything. Maybe in some aspects Jenny was a bad influence.

"Yup." TJ said cheerfully and felt a sudden chill as Alice did her usually throttle blip. Alice's sweet and innocent demeanor changed rather quickly as the Viper growled again from another blip.

The little mouse grinned evilly as she revved the motor and just side stepped the clutch. The big eight liter motor howled as it quickly ate up the two city blocks before the first hard left turn. TJ knew every aspect of the car, knew what it could do in theory. Alice smashed past any of the boundaries TJ thought there were. Knowing how fast it went from zero to one hundred was one thing, experiencing it with Alice's absolute precision driving was something all together different.

Alice made it look effortless, like art. TJ's heart was racing and she was on an adrenalin and horse power high. Alice was calm, cool and unfazed. Sideways at well over a hundred, nothing new there. TJ had ridden with Alice lots of time in the Lotus, and she had ridden with Wes in his Austin... But this was different.

Alice downshifted and pitched the rear end the other way as they rounded another corner. "You are a little less vocal than your sister. I told you this thing just goes, and this is with less sticky drift tires on. And the power, can you feel all of that power?"

"I feel something alright." TJ said and blushed as the G force shifted her enough to cause the belt between her legs to rub. This was just a test day before the actual event, so Alice did not have to stop after one lap. TJ pulled her belts tighter hoping that would help.

Alice kept the smile to herself as a little moan escaped TJ's mouth. That was the problem sometimes with the fifth belt of the five point harness. Especially in street clothes and not race suits. That belt was intended to keep you from sliding under the lap belt, in the event of a high speed impact.

"It never ceases to amaze me how Alice can talk like she was sitting on a couch despite going that fast in a car that will pull that much G load." Katie said as the Viper howled past them for the first time.

"Yeah, I never figured that out either. She sounded the same when driving Jim's truck through a building, while getting shot at." Wes said and glanced at the lap timer Little Joe was running despite Alice telling him not to. It was quick.

DJ came back from the trailer having cleaned up. She climbed up onto the tool box to look over Alice's lap times. Little Joe had been keeping track of every run. They were still getting it set and tuned for the first race in a couple weeks. "Even with half used up tires she is still laying down consistent times."

"Your sister and you built one hell of a car that's for damn sure. All the temps are down low even with the near constant tire spinning. I think the computer and suspension tuning are perfect for her driving style." Little Joe said.

"Are you still feeling confidant you can keep up with her Wes?" Carly asked.

"Mostly, Tim and Joe did a little tuning on my car over the winter. I think a little more down force should get me the grip to keep pace with her all wheel drive. Alice has more power, but that big engine likes to drink gasoline." Wes said and shrugged.

Little Joe leaned back as Alice clicked off another solid lap. "Wes and several other drives will need to stop once for fuel. Alice and a few others will need to stop a second time just for a splash of fuel. If there are a number of caution laps, Alice could make it on one stop."

"Who is going to be in her pit?" Carly asked.

"Ron and Jim for sure. TJ had mentioned she would if Alice wanted her too or Kenny could not make it. We will all be there so both cars will get covered in any event." Joe said.

TJ was feeling a little weird after a few laps, then it happened as Alice sawed at the wheel to get through a short slalom. "Oh... Alice Stop the car!" TJ yelled after they made a sharp left.

Alice put the Viper in neutral and stood on the brakes bringing the car to a quick violent stop. "What's wrong TJ?" Alice asked and had unbuckled enough to lean over and check on her.

"My girl parts feel all funny and damp!" TJ cried.

"Your... oh. I thought you were getting sick. You just had an orgasm." Alice said relieved nothing was wrong.

"A what? You mean like if we had sex orgasm?" TJ asked and grabbed Alice only to realize she was yelling into the head set microphone. "Oh god they just heard all of that."

Alice quickly unplugged the head set so she could calm TJ down without embarrassing either of them any further. Those in the pit with headsets on all sat in a very awkward silence. DJ blushing deeply since she had one as well.

"Wait, is that why you had to go to the bathroom?" Little Joe asked as he looked at DJ. The little cat just nodded yes.

"All of you out now!" Katie yelled at the guys. Both Joes and Wes split real quick.

Alice pulled off the track and onto a service road to make her way back to the pits. TJ sitting in a humiliated silence the whole way. There was no way Alice would have known that TJ never had a boyfriend who she had gone all the way with. Meaning Alice had given her, her first orgasm without any sex involved. It took some of the wind out of Alice's sails, but part of her was still thrilled she managed to get Jenny, DJ and TJ to cum without actually touching them.

Alice leaned against the tool box as the other girls went to the trailer. It was time for Haylie's nap and she did feel a little bad about it. However she was expecting an awkward conversation with the guys when they came back to the pit.

"What did you tell the track official?" Joe asked.

"That she wasn't feeling good all of a sudden." Alice said softly.

"Lets get Carly's car prepped for her practice run. We still have use of the track for another hour." Wes said to keep the conversation away from sex. Since he and Alice had a thing a while back and the tension was a little weird. He loved Natasha deeply, but you never forget your first love. The cute little mouse could still get his motor going.

Alice got in the Mustang and pulled it out onto pit road and left the engine running to get it warmed up while little Joe checked on the car read outs he was getting. He was just monitoring things from his station. Carly's pit crew had the control over the computers in the car. Course he could just hack the signal if he wanted to.

Carly had changed into her fire suit for her practice laps. Alice helped her get belted in while she put on her helmet. "Thanks for helping me out Alice."

"That's what friends are for." Alice said.

"I meant with sticking to racing, not getting me belted in." Carly said.

Alice smiled. "I know you would have done the same for me."

Alice sat up on the tool box with Little Joe and talked Carly threw what she thought were good lines either to keep speed up or set the car up for the next corner. Thankfully the rest of the day went smoothly.

"You okay Alice?" Little Joe asked.

"Yeah sorry about that." Alice said. She had forgotten to keep talking out loud as she talked to Nodrog telepathically. He had told her there had been a problem but it was mostly taken care of and that she did not need to worry.

"You're not one to space out." Carly said as she down shifted to pull into the pit. Their track time was up and she was pleased with the car and herself.

"We were going to go out for dinner. Give Jenny a call, she and Nodrog can meet us there." Katie said as she came over.

"Actually Jenny and Nodrog are out of town. Business trip to our Berlin office." Alice said.

"Well then you have to come with us. Can't let our Alice sit at home alone on a Friday night." Wes said. He took Alice's arm to make sure she couldn't say no.

"Alright I'm coming you don't have to drag me along." Alice said.
