Bonds of Hydromancy
#3 of Hydromancers Trilogy
I'm sorry for the delay, I really am. You see, I like to write. I love it, really. I can write a lot, and there's actually very little that I have difficulty writing. This is, in essence, a fantasy story, and that falls into the category of things that I can write with great easy.
Unfortunately, yiff is not something I can write easily. Yiff is not a focus of mine. Yiff is not really my forte. However, I feel the need or desire to write it from time to time, and considering that this is, in essence, a porn site, I suppose I needed to add a bit of 'teh ghey sekkzorz' as it were. So, on with the disclaimer.
You clicked the Enter Site button when you arrived, so you supposedly read the warning against minors reading this stuff. I hold no responsibility if your sensibilities are hurt by my smut. Hell, if my stuff offends, I'm glad you didn't find half the other stuff on Yiffstar, to be honest. You picked a good story to be offended at.
Of course, there are those that want story over smut. I'm one of those people. So, if for whatever reason you'd like to know a little more about the characters in this story, you might want to check out the other two stories prior to this one in the Hydromancers Trilogy, which you can find here: http://yiffstar.com/index.php?pid=6609 And by all means, don't think that I'm stopping here. No, so much more for me to do... ah well.
Above all else, enjoy the conclusion to this trilogy!

Bonds of Hydromancy
The morning of the Elemental Challenge, Dosner rose from sleep earlier even than Faora. He looked around for a moment, almost confused at the lack of the dragon in the room, before he remembered with a sigh the last night. The otter slipped out of his bed and smoothly into the water of the room, sitting down and immersing himself right up to his neck. He fell into a deep meditation, concentrating on honing his water powers before battle.
The Elemental Challenge was an event hosted annually by the magic school. From all across the country of Renthani, the best elementalists gathered together in the center of the dome, where 'The Arena' was built. The arena was, in simplest terms, the academy scaled down. A large dome structure within which each of the elements were in harmony. Flame burned from torches scattered around, water gurgled through a stream, trees stretched into the air and the wind blew across the ground.
There were two tournament-style competitions that took place every year in the arena. The first, and most loved, was the classical one-on-one battle. Two elementalists would fight against each other for victory, the winning moving on. It wasn't fair putting masters against adepts though; they decided initially that it be better if elementalists only fought those of equal skill level. Thus, Dosner knew he'd be up against another first-year student.
The second event was the one that Faora himself was, however unwillingly, involved in. The team challenge involved four elementalists - one hydromancer, one pyromancer, one geomancer and one aeromancer - in a battle against another team. They were all to be at the same level of development, and despite his lack of effective attack spells, Faora was still a second-year student.
The thought of Faora jerked the otter out of his meditative mindset. Dosner opened his eyes and looked down at the water, gazing at the reflection staring back at him. The otter's blue-green fur stood out in the water, his eyes sparkling as he turned away.
He turned around as he heard the door open, eyes locking on the dragon walking into the room. "Good morning, Faora," he said softly, turning back to the water. "I trust you slept well last night."
The otter heard Faora's footsteps stop right behind him, and a sigh from above. "I didn't sleep very well at all, in fact," he replied slowly, "Dosner... I'm sorry. What happened last night was not what I intended at all."
Slowly, the otter stood up and turned to look at his friend. "Then perhaps I could know what it was that you intended?" he asked, folding his arms, "Perhaps you would have taught me the finer points of crafting an ice blade before ramming it into me. Again."
Faora winced and looked down. "No... I don't know what I would have done or felt. Dosner, I've never even contemplated... well, such actions. Not even with a female. My studies have taken up all my time, and this place has been all I've known all my life. It was a shock to me."
He sighed again. "It is true that I feel strongly for you. But we've only known each other a short time. This... these new feelings are frightening. I'm sorry for how I acted, but I could not help it."
For a moment, Dosner searched the other's face, looking for any signs of a lie. Finding none, he nodded. "All right, I forgive you. Now, come on. The challenge starts soon, and we both need to be ready for it." He paused while he watched Faora start to walk away, before placing a paw on the dragon's shoulder. "Fae? Thanks for making me understand... it was really wrong of me to just... well, make an advance like that. I should have been more sure before I said anything."
Faora turned around to smile back at the otter. "I'm just sorry I couldn't give you what it was that you desired," he replied softly, petting the other's arm, "Perhaps later, in time. But for now, as you said, we need to prepare for the day. Come. Let me take you to the preparation chambers."
* * *
The preparation chambers of the Challenge were alive with activity when Faora and Dosner arrived. Elementalists and Adepts hurried around, getting themselves as ready as they could for the day's trials.
Almost as soon as the two water adepts arrived were they charged upon by four masters. Two of them bore the armour the otter and dragon would be wearing over their robes, and the other two began telling of the order of their opponents during the day. Faora listened half-heartedly to the listing, while Dosner seemed more excited and attentive.
Little more than a minute before the first challenges were to begin, silence finally descended over the Arena. The chaos of the preparations faded away, replaced by an eerie quiet. All heads turned to the center of the Arena, where a single fur stood.
The white-robed tiger stood tall, a bright blade shining in the light at his side. The king of Renthani, Julius Veranna. One of the most capable fighters in the land, and a strong Aeromancer as well. Revered by all his subjects, feared by the demonic swarms.
He tilted his head up, gazing upon the gathered mass of magic users. "Elementalists of Renthani!" he called out, voice carrying even over so great a distance, "You fight today not to defeat encroaching enemies. Not for the honour of defeating the hordes that threaten every day to press back into our lands. Today you fight for sport; today you fight for proof of your skills.
"Adepts. You have the chance to demonstrate to your peers that you have obtained a high understanding of your teachings. Champions of your skill level will be granted boons of enchanted weapons. These will focus your power, to better hone your mind for the studies ahead of you."
"Elementalists. You battle now for the right to become part of the elite teams that even now battle outside of our borders, against the evil of our demonic enemies. Those of you that are victorious today will be brought to Derinor, before you too will begin your fight for Renthani."
He paused for a moment, casting his gaze across the arrayed magic users before him. "You are all the pride of Renthani. You, who would dedicate your lives to the magical arts, are the ones that will safeguard our lands for years to come. We owe you all much. Today, we will see what you have learned, and test you to the limits." The tiger smiled softly, and bowed his head. "Elementalists. Prepare yourself for the Challenge!"

It wasn't until an hour later that Dosner was let to his starting position at one end of the Arena. A small, glowing rune marked the dirt beneath his paws, and the otter looked about himself at the Arena from the inside.
It was exactly as he'd expected it, though the sight of the gathered crowds just outside the battle area wrenched the otter's gut. Protected from the fighting by a projected field of transparent energy, they could see everything that would go on between contestants without risking harm.
The sound of his opponent entering the Arena hit Dosner's ears, and he looked up to find a small rat girl dressed in the robes of a Geomancer adept. He offered her a bow and a smile, which she returned gracefully.
"Adept Brooks. Hydromancy, first year. Adept Syron. Geomancy, first year." The voice was that of a tall canine standing at the edge of the arena, the one who would judge the results of the battle. "Prepare yourselves... begin combat... now!"
Almost before Dosner could react, he saw the rat girl throw her arms upwards. She shouted out a quick incantation, and the ground beneath the otter's feet suddenly threw him high up in the air.
He landed in a dazed heap on the ground, looking up just in time to see a massive boulder hurtling towards him. Quickly he leapt up and backwards, just out of the way in time. Extending his mind, he sought the water that would fuel his energy.
He found it in the form of the small stream gurgling through the Arena. With a flick of a wrist the water leapt up out of the stream towards him, swirling through the air around him almost protectively.
Syron looked over at Dosner with some surprise, before calling up a storm of dust to hurl towards him. The rat smiled in triumph as the water closed around Dosner, being hailed with rock and earth.
That smile turned to a frown as the water began to grow thicker, the dust catching in the liquid and blocking more from moving through. Before she could raise an arm for another attack, the wall of water slammed forward into the surprised girl, knocking her flat on her back. She attempted to stand again quickly, but Dosner rushed forward and pinned her to the ground with a smile.
The judge raised one arm, and the crowds cheered the otter on. "Match victor: Adept Brooks, Hydromancy, first year." He smiled as he walked over, helping Syron to her feet. "Well fought, Adept," he said warmly, directing her out through her exit, before turning to Dosner. "Rest up, Adept Brooks. You next battle will commence soon."
Bowing, the otter turned away fro the judge and the applause, walking back into the preparation chambers outside the Arena. He caught sight of Faora, who smiled wide at him and nodded. "You were watching?" he asked.
The dragon nodded. "Every moment. I'm surprised. You performed very well there just now." He smirked. "Just remember, you have to be fast to get the drop on your opponents. Syron hit you before you knew what was going on."
Wincing, Dosner rubbed his side where he'd landed. "You are very right. She hit me a lot harder than I could have expected someone so young to do. I underestimated her skills far too much. I won't do that again."
* * *
As it happened, Dosner learned well from his mistakes. His next two battles were against another hydromancer adept and an aeromancer. In both cases did he emerge victorious, much to his and Faora's delight.
Once more the otter stood upon his starting rune, looking the crowds over. He'd grown used to the idea of being watched, and didn't mind the others so much anymore. Instead he closed his eyes and focussed his mind on the task at hand, readying himself for battle.
He snapped his eyes open with a gasp when he heard the words of the judge. "Adept Brooks. Hydromancy, first year. Adept Shinoh. Pyromancy, first year." Dosner stood up quickly, glaring at the smirking figure before him. The same figure that had, from time to time, made his life at the academy a living hell.
Jeren waved a hand through the air. "You're not worth my effort today, commoner," the tiger growled, "But it will be a pleasure to repay you for your words as we met."
Dosner gave a growl of his own and dropped into a low crouch. "Silence your tongue and ready your mind," he snarled back, "Or you may find yourself shamed by yet another hydromancer."
The judge looked between the two adepts for a moment, before raising his arms. "Begin combat... now!"
Neither of he two moved off the starting rune. Both Dosner and Jeren stretched out their minds, calling to them water and fire respectively. The stream's water rose up to move towards Dosner, while the flame of several torches burned the air around Jeren.
Quickly, the two elements gathered. The flame burned bright in Jeren's grip, a staff built only of fire, while the water around Dosner froze and formed a long sword. The two looked up at the other and narrowed their eyes, before as one they belted out a battle cry and charged at the other.
Before Dosner could even close to range though, Jeren brought a hand up. Flame gathered around his paw for a moment before he released it, the fireball flaring out to slam cleanly into Dosner's breastplate. He cried in triumph as the otter was lifted off the ground, knocked back a meter only to slam into a tree.
Grunting, Dosner ducked under a vicious swipe of the burning staff. The flame cut right through the tree, igniting it and setting it falling backwards. The otter dropped into a roll, sliding just underneath another swipe from the staff.
He quickly rolled up to his feet and broke into a dead run, bolting right for the stream. The otter found himself blasted into the air as he felt another fireball strike him in the back, dumping him down in the creek. More angry than injured, Dosner spun around. He gathered the stream to himself and, as he'd done with Syron earlier, pushed the full force of the wave of water towards Jeren.
The tiger's eyes went wide as the water rose up before him. He dropped immediately to the ground, the fire of his staff sputtering out as he gripped the ground. The water rushed over him, threatening to drag him backwards and away, but his grip prevented him sliding more than a few centimeters.
The water washed over Jeren quickly. It took the tiger only a moment to regain his footing on the muddy ground, glaring anger at the otter. He began an incantation, his arms weaving through the air and whipping the still-lit torches into a frenzy of sparks.
Dosner charged forward with his ice blade, but he wasn't fast enough. His opponent completed the incantation and extended his arms towards the otter. The flames of the torches rose up and streaked towards him from all sides. Dosner cried out in pain as searing heat struck him, bolts of flame denting his already abused armour and battering him into the ground.
The judge raised his arms to signal the end of the match. But this didn't stop Jeren; the tiger narrowed his eyes to slits and continuing to batter the downed form of the otter with crackling flame. The armour Dosner wore began to burn him, becoming so hot that it sizzled against his flesh.
"That is enough!" called out the judge sternly, but still Jeren did not let up. Growling quietly to himself, the canine reached out with a wand similar to the one Faora had used when Dosner first met him.
Jeren found himself thrown backwards through the air, slamming bodily into the protective energy field protecting the viewers. Though he tried, the tiger could not bring his arms down to continue the barrage. He settled for snarling through his teeth at the otter, still lying on the ground.
The first person to his side was, of course, the judge himself. Using his wand again, the canine ripped the armour off the otter's body, noting the dark marks on the robes beneath both where flame had met cloth and where metal had charred fabric, fur and flesh beneath.
The second to Dosner's side was Faora. The dragon rushed into the Arena far ahead of several others, immediately pressing his hands to the otter's chest and sides, healing wherever he could see or feel a burn. Slowly the wounds began to heal, the pain fading away quickly as Faora began his work.
The judge turned to Jeren as soon as he was confident that Dosner was not permanently hurt. He walked up to the immobile tiger and narrowed his eyes. "Adept Shinoh. Your behaviour today is completely out of line. You were ordered to stop."
Haughtily, Jeren raised his head to look down his muzzle at the canine. "I was merely repaying a debt of pain, Master Cherani," he replied coldly, eyes flicking to the still-wounded otter, "He dishonoured me at our first meeting, and he required punishment."
Slowly, Dosner sat up. He glared across the arena at the tiger and spat at the ground. "You forget that you were the one to insult first, Jeren," the otter shot back, "Moreso, once I showed even the hint of spine, you prepared to attack me, while I was unarmed!" He stood up and brushed Faora's healing hands aside. "More still; Faora was the one to stop you! I did not attack in any way!"
The tiger just hissed and turned his head away. He gave no answer but merely remained still, pressed up against the shield of energy. Jeren found himself falling to the ground as the judge released him from his magic grip, looking up to glare at all three of the elementalists before him. But without another word, he stalked out of the arena.
Cherani turned to Dosner and bowed his head. "Though his actions are unforgivable, he achieved victory over you before his... mistakes. The match goes to him, though I've no doubt that this warrants his disqualification from the Challenge."
Dosner merely nodded and turned to walk out of the Arena himself. The otter felt a need to just get out of there and cool off. Hardly surprising since he'd just nearly been burned to a crisp.
He made his way to the lake in short order. Though it was in the bright daylight of late morning, the otter had no caring for the sensitivities of others that could show up. Probably, he thought, they were all watching the matches in the Arena. He stripped down to his fur and left his robes in a pile on the bank, before quickly immersing himself in the warm water.
Almost immediately he felt the energy of the lake swirling around him. The warmth of the water bled away the residual pain of the burns to the flesh beneath his fur, leaving him to sigh as he dipped his head beneath the surface.
The silence underwater was almost as soothing as the water itself, but before too long the otter felt the need to take breath again. Dosner reluctantly rose to the surface, shaking water from his eyes and fur. He lay back, floating on his back for a moment and gazing up through the crystal roof to the sky above him.
Slowly he began to drift off, closing his eyes as he surrendered himself to the warmth of the water. His body continued to float despite his lack of conscious effort, the water magic within his mind and body keeping him from slipping beneath the surface.
For how long the otter was unconscious, he had no idea. But Dosner suddenly found his careful balance atop the water broken by the emergence of another. Half of his body slipped under the surface of the lake as he brought his legs back down, slowly opening his eyes to moonlit darkness.
He gave a smile to the other who had entered the lake beside him, before closing his eyes again and sinking down to his neck in the water. "Greetings, Faora. Did your battles today earn you much success?"
Dosner could feel the ripples of the water, and could tell that the dragon had brought himself down in front of him, his own head barely above the surface. "In actuality, no. I found myself unable to concentrate my energies on the others of my team. My mind was far from the Arena today, much to my ally's dismay."
The otter gave a coy smirk. "One of the things you taught me Fae, was that an adept must rise above themselves, give their mind totally over to the task at hand and the energy within. You were worried about me."
More ripples in the water allowed Dosner to feel the other's shrug. "Yes, of course I was. I do care for you, Dosner. You are my best friend in this place. Perhaps something more even than that."
Dosner opened his eyes and glanced over at Faora, his face wearing an expression of surprise. "Something more than a friend?" he asked tentatively.
The dragon gave an affirming nod. "Something closer to my heart than a mere friend. You're not just that, not by far. You're... truly like a brother to me."
"Oh." With that one word, the otter's hopes crumbled around him again. "Well... that's nice."
Faora cocked his head to the side. "You aren't fooling me, Dosner... what is it?"
For a moment, he just gazed back at the dragon, before he let out a sigh. "You know all ready very well what it is," he replied, a note of sadness in his voice. "You know I care about you... as more than a friend would, but not in the way you seem to." The otter sighed again. "You're... I do not even know if there is a word for it."
Sighing himself, Faora glanced down at his moonlit reflection in the water. "A frustration?" he offered, "A nuisance, an annoyance, a pain?"
Dosner reached out and took one of Faora's clawed hands between his paws. "You are none of those things," he said softly, "And if you were any one of them, I would not feel like this."
The dragon shook his head slowly. "I just... suppose I need time," he finally said, "You know that I've... not had any intimate contact with anyone." He looked up again, eyes filled with tears, sparkling in the dim light. "The truth is... that I do feel the same way as you do... but I have no idea how to act on it. I'm afraid of acting wrongly, of doing you any wrong or injustice. Afraid of a misstep, of making mistakes, of loosing so much..." He sighed. "I wouldn't even know where to start... there would be so much riding on - mmmph..."
He found himself cut off mid-sentence as Dosner leaned forward and pressed his muzzle against the dragon's. For a moment there was complete silence across the lake, and in that single moment, the floodgates opened up, filling the bodies of the two with pent-up emotion and longing.
The kiss faded away slowly, but the link between their minds was positively ablaze. It suddenly seemed as if each knew the other to the depths of their soul, every aspect, every facet of their character and personality and being now open to the other. And both knew that they were similarly exposed. It was a thrilling feeling, an overwhelming one, and a slightly intimidating one.
Faora slowly opened his eyes, unaware that he had even closed them. His gaze fixed on the blushing face of the otter before him, looking down now. "Wow..."
Dosner gave a faint smile, but continued to look down into the water. "I'm sorry... I did not mean to cross any lines."
But the dragon just shook his head and touched a talon to the other's lips. "Ssshhhh... do not worry about it." And with that he drew the otter closer, kissing him again. His arms wrapped around Dosner tightly as their lips met once more.
The otter gave a sigh of supreme peace through his nose as he leaned into the kiss, wrapping one of his arms around the dragon's waist and another around his torso. He felt the other bringing his tail up between his legs, slowly entwining it with Dosner's own tail.
A minute passed, and then two, where all that Dosner was aware of was the lake around him and he dragon before him. He held the dragon tightly against himself, almost afraid that this too was but a dream; illusion borne of a wanting mind. But be could feel Faora holding him just as tightly, just as fearfully... just as lovingly.
Slowly the two reluctantly parted their lips again, leaving both to sigh into the air. Dosner's arms remained encircling the dragon's body, while Faora reached up gently to stroke the otter's cheek. Their eyes met, and an electric jolt of renewed energy shot through their bond.
For a moment, the two just continued to stare into each other. Finally, the dragon looked down with his cheeks flushed. "I... admit to not knowing quite how to proceed," he said quietly, the blush only spreading across his face. "I mean, I have heard... of..."
He trailed off slowly as Dosner leaned forward slowly. The otter left a warm trail along Faora's jaw line as he licked along it, his paws reaching slowly down the dragon's back. He churred quietly up at Faora and smiled, kissing along and down his neck.
Dosner brought his paws around to the front of the dragon, playing them over his scaled chest before slowly pushing him backwards. He smiled as he sensed Faora's confusion, keeping his lips and tongue sliding along the dragon's neck, even as he backed towards the shore.
His paws slowly reached their way up Faora's back again, tracing into each and every scale on their way. He felt the dragon shiver and gasp as his paws strokes along his sensitive wing bases, before the reached his shoulders. Slowly he began to exert a little strength, pushing the dragon downwards.
The otter gave a final kiss to Faora's falling lips, watching with a grin as the dragon lay himself down in the shallow water. The dragon still looked confused to Dosner, but the smile on his face betrayed his innocent enjoyment of it all. Giving a smile of his own, Dosner sank to his knees between the dragon's legs and, placing one paw to either side of his torso, leaned in to press their lips together once more.
Faora gladly returned the kiss, leaning up into it with renewed passion. He brought his arms up and around the otter's body, pulling him down against his own. A deep purr sent vibrations into Dosner, causing him to press further down onto the dragon.
Their lips parted again, and this time Dosner was pleased to hear a wanting whimper come from the dragon below him. The reached down and stroked across Faora's lips gently, smiling softly down into his eyes as he kissed his way down the dragon's neck. Every twitch, every writhe of pleasure only increased Dosner's efforts, only drove him on further with greater want.
His tongue slid down the dragon's body, pushing its way beneath scale to wetly stroke the soft flesh beneath. Dosner's paws ran down Faora's back, reaching around to stroke at the base of the dragon's wings. He suddenly felt Faora's body fall limp as a sigh of pleasure escaped his muzzle; apparently, he'd found a sensitive point.
The otter's paws ran up and down the edges of Faora's wings, his eyes flicking up to the dragon's face to watch his reaction. He wasn't disappointed by what he saw, the other's eyes squeezed tightly shut, mouth opening and closing as if to speak, but his tongue was without the ability to form words.
Dosner made sure to let his own tongue return to its work. He continued to leave a trail of kisses and licks down Faora's body, lifting his head up slowly before reaching his hips. The otter looked down and smiled at the parted lips of the dragon's genital slit, and at the dark, slick length that was now emerging from it.
Without giving the dragon any warning whatsoever, he dove down with muzzle open wide. Dosner locked his lips around the dragon's shaft and slid his tongue down the length, causing Faora to throw his head back and cry out in unexpected pleasure. Dosner found himself intrigued by the pleasantly spicy taste of the natural lubricants that had coated the dragon's member, and the aroma of Faora's musk was certainly driving him onwards.
His own emerging length ignored for now, Dosner brought one paw down to the base of the slick dragonhood before him. He wrapped it firmly around the half that wasn't in his muzzle, even as his tongue stroked and rubbed across the tapered head. He couldn't resist giving off a joyous moan of his own, however muted by his actions.
The otter gave Faora's base a gentle squeeze as he slid his muzzle down lower onto the dragon's shaft. He heard him grunt, and felt Faora thrusting upwards into him. Dosner shied away for a moment so as not to choke down what he couldn't take yet, before his paw pushed the dragon's hips back against the cool ground.
He smiled around his full mouth at Faora's enthusiasm, before lifting his head slowly back up again. The dragon began to groan in protest, but abruptly cut himself off as he felt Dosner bobbing back down, sliding another half inch of Faora's length into his mouth. He repeated the motions slowly, every time slowly taking a little more of the dragon's shaft into himself.
Dosner felt the warm dribble of the dragon's pre fairly soon. His tongue flicked over the head of Faora's length, catching what he could. The otter murred softly at the taste, savouring the peculiar spicy-sweet taste as he continued to move back and forth.
He cried out even around his full mouth as he felt something smooth wrapping around his own neglected otterhood. His eyes flicked up to see Faora smiling innocently down at him, before he looked down himself. He could not see the familiar pink rod of his arousal before a coil of blue scale. Dosner gave a quiet moan as he felt the dragon's tail constricting around his length, massaging it firmly.
The otter began to thrust down into Faora's tail even as he renewed his assault on the dragon's length. His tongue slid up and down in time with each bob of his head, occasionally sliding up and over the tip of the dragon's shaft to catch the increasingly thicker pre flowing forth from there.
Dosner murred more loudly around the pumping shaft locked in his muzzle. His paw squeezed down on the base of Faora's member, coaxing his arousal to levels previously unreachable. The grunts and groans above him were growing in volume and frequency, and it didn't take the otter long to figure out what they meant.
Abruptly he found the entire length thrust firmly into his muzzle. The dragon above him tossed his head back as his back arched, roaring into the air as the feelings became far too much for his pleasure-wracked body to handle. The tail wrapped around Dosner's shaft shuddered, echoes of Faora's impending climax tingling about otterhood.
Sudden bursts of powerful emotion flashed through their bond as the full force of the dragon's orgasm hit him. The head of Faora's engulfed member suddenly erupted, pumping shot after shot of his essence into Dosner's waiting mouth. The otter found himself overwhelmed by the combination of the emotional, mental and physical, even as the sensations of Faora's climax rippled through his mind.
For a few brief moments, Dosner could sense the dragon as clearly as he could hear him. He could feel what Faora felt, see what he saw, and the like. The sensation was indescribable, so far beyond anything the otter had ever felt before. And it was in those moments that he realised the truth of it all.
Dosner let time slip away as he basked in the sudden warmth of the bond he and Faora shared. Eyes closed, he drank down every drop of his dragon's seed, the taste, the texture, every little detail burning itself into his memory for all of time. This, their first little tryst, would be etched in his mind for the rest of the otter's life.
Slowly, the flood of dragon seed slowed to a trickle, then a final pulse. The well had been tapped dry, and Dosner looked up. His eyes met Faora's, the other's orbs sparkling with tears. Through their link, he could tell that these were not tears of pain or sadness. "Faora..."
He felt the others arms lifting him up. Dosner pulled himself up the rest of the way until he was eye level with Faora, before the dragon touched Dosner's lips softly. "You need not even speak it," he whispered. "I love you too..."
Dosner reached up to grip Faora's hand tightly, slowly pulling it from his lips to press his muzzle to the dragon's in another kiss. He heard the other make a sound of confusion at tasting his own seed on the other's lips, before purring into the kiss and holding the otter tightly.
They parted slowly and he saw Faora look down, scales slightly flushed. "You seem to be having a little difficulty," he pointed out as he reached down. His hand wrapped slowly around the middle of Dosner's shaft, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Though... I wouldn't know really how to help you here..."
The otter gave a quiet little moan, hips bucking into the other's grip. He'd been fairly aroused due to his suckling of the dragon only minutes before, but the sudden flood of climax-driven sensation through their bond had dragged him much closer to the edge. "Just... do what you think would feel good for you, I want no more than that..."
With the blush spreading further across his face, Faora surprised both himself and Dosner by the boldness of his actions. He leaned down quickly and, with barely a moment of hesitation, took the first few inches of the otter's length into his own muzzle.
A strangled gasp was all Dosner could manage as the feelings hit him. Through their link, he'd felt what were echoes of what Faora had enjoyed when he'd been working on him. But to have the same sensations washing over his own body, to experience them first hand... it was something else entirely.
Faora seemed to pause a moment where he was, tongue tentatively stroking along one side of the otter's shaft. Dosner leaned down to gently stroke the dragon's cheek and smile, before his eyes closed and he gave another gasp as Faora sucked in another few inches.
Dosner felt the dragon begin to quickly -if a little unsurely and awkwardly- bob his head back and forth along the member before him. Even though he was obviously inexperienced at the act, his enthusiasm seemed to make up for his lack of skill. The dragon began to softly purr around his shaft; the vibrations only drove him closer to the edge of control.
That control was ebbing away faster. Faora just didn't seem to let up on him at all... he kept moving, back and forth, back and forth, faster and faster and deeper and faster and deeper... it was all Dosner could do to moan out a quick warning.
His release still came far too fast for Faora to handle. His shaft twitched and came alive as he thrust forward and up, shocking the dragon unused to such actions. He gagged and fell back as Dosner's member continued to erupt, splattering the dragon's face with his seed, painting his scales thickly with every pulse.
Quickly overcoming his shock, Faora reached down and took the spasming length firmly in his hand, jerking it back and forth. Dosner collapsed backwards, leaving himself to the efforts of the dragon seemingly bent on draining him of every drop he had to give. And every last drop he gave shot up powerfully, coating Faora's face and chest until there was nothing left to give.
A silence descended upon the lake, punctuated only by the sound of the two panting slightly out of time with each other. It was Faora who broke the silence first, giggling quietly as he looked up at the otter. "I had no idea... not that this was so good..."
Smiling, Dosner leaned forward and gently licked along the dragon's cheek, leaving a clean trail along the seed-soaked scales. "You have some idea now... and should you want it, I'll be happy to do all this and so much more..."
Faora looked surprised, sudden innocence springing to his features. "More?" he echoed, "I didn't even think that... well, perhaps later. We should head back now... it is late, after all."
The otter slowly stood up from his cleaning of the other's face and hauled Faora to his feet, pulling him backwards into the water of the lake. He gathered handfuls of water and gently washed away the physical traces of their actions. He smiled as the dragon purred gratefully at his actions, stroking Dosner's chest and belly as he was cleaned.
Finally the dragon was clean once again. He smiled wide down at his reflection in the water, before giving Dosner a quick kiss. "Thank you. I'm now fit to walk in public again."
The otter smirked and nuzzled him. "You were always fit to walk in public, regardless of how you look," he replied, "But I guess in this case, I will agree."
Returning the nuzzle, Faora wrapped one arm around Dosner's waist and walked alongside him to their robes, still pilled up together on the bank of the lake. "Your words are too kind, Dos..." he said softly, licking the other's cheek. Faora paused for a moment, frowning and looking at the ground with a blush. "Dosner? What are we now? I mean..."
Dosner felt a little flutter rising up his stomach and settling in his chest. "I'm... I'm not too sure," he admitted, "I know what I would like to believe, but I just don't want to assume that you'd want to..." He trailed off slowly, looking down at the ground.
Faora leaned into him again. "That I would want to... what?"
This time, it was the otter's turn to blush. "That you would want to... be my mate."
A moment of silence was all it took for Dosner's delicate hopes to shatter once again. Inwardly he sighed at the abruptness of the gesture. I should have known it was far too soon to ask him to-
"I can't think of anything more I could want in this world."
Dosner's head shot up again in surprise as he heard the soft words. His eyes bored deeply into the dragon's, searching for any hint of jest or mockery. Instead he found those same tears of joy, and an unwavering return stare full of love. "You..."
Smiling once again, the dragon leaned in to throw his arms around his otter and kiss him softly. "I would be honoured to be your mate," he finished for Dosner, smiling and holding on tightly.
Dosner just embraced his love tightly. Their spirits met and melded intimately, swirling and joining together almost into one entity. Destiny was rewritten; fates changed in an instant by a love profound, by a love the likes of which you only find once in a lifetime.
Well, there we go. You've finished the Hydromancers Trilogy. Did you like it? Did you make a mess of your paws? Am I an egotist to use my primary fursona in one of my stories? Comment on the forums, or hit me up with an email at [email protected] and tell me what you think. Also, hit one of those number buttons at the bottom of the story here, score me. Or the toe gremlins will eat your fingers. I know, I know. I don't know why they're called toe gremlins either if they eat fingers. Just one of those weird 'creative licence' things I hear so much about. No emailing about the toe gremlins. ...Anyway, hope you enjoyed!
