"Oh ok then." Said his mother assuringly. "Did you have someone over yesterday?" said the elder dragon again.

Jakes eyes shot up at his mothers, "No. Why do you ask?" said Jake seemingly worried.

His mother pointed to a red lined leather jacket that was hanging on the coat rack behind them, "I don't remember buying that for you." Said his mother still focusing her attention to her son.

Jakes eyes widened as his eyes studied the jacket, Dylan must have left it there when he walked in yesterday. "Ummm... Well a friend let me borrow it, I was feeling sort-of cold yesterday." Said Jake quickly.

She looked out the window to see the trees branches being pushed softly by the supple winds gusts and looked back at Jake as if asking if he was serious, but decided to leave it at that. "Hmm.. Alright, well don't forget to return it. Looks like its time for you to go anyway." Said his mother as he looked at the clock above the microwave.

Jake looked again at his wristwatch seeing it was 5 minutes before 7, school started at 7:30 and it was a 30 minute walk. "Ok mom." Said Jake as he got up and picked up his bag and the jacket as he walked towards the door.

"Have a good day at school hun." Said his mother again as he shut the door softly leaving for school.
