First Day
#1 of Joey's New School
Buzzzzz! Joey turned off his alarm clock and yawned loudly. It was time for his first day at a new
school and he wasn't ready for summer break to end. Joey was apprehensive about starting his
sophomore year at a new school.
He and his mom had moved during the summer because his
parents had gotten a divorce and his mom wanted a change of scenery. So they moved to an all fur neighborhood because his mother was a fur-oriented nurse who
worked long hours.
Joey was 5'9" with a slim build; he had brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair. He considered
himself to look average, even though many girls had told him he was cute. Joey had known since
he was twelve that he liked boys, he caught himself looking at them out of the corner of his eyes
but he was always to shy to try to get a date. He had dated a few girls but they had never given
him the spark he sought after.
Joey showered off quickly and got dressed for school before he went downstairs. His mom had
made him breakfast and they started eating together, almost the only family time they had was breakfast since his mom usually worked double shifts at the hospital.
"Are you excited for your first day honey", she asked? He was a little excited and nervous since he would be the only human going to Parker High. His mom told him that she would drop him off but the school was only about fifteen blocks away so he would walk home. On the way to school Joey got really anxious.
As they pulled up he looked at the two story school. It was huge and the school colors were everywhere, blue and silver. It was a relatively new school and completely made of blue colored brick. The school even had a separated gym a few hundred feet away from the rest of the school. Joey said bye to his mom, got out of the car and headed for his locker. He got a lot of strange looks as he was walking by all the anthros, and even heard a few mumbled taunts.
"They let humans in here", questioned a tiger?
"Why do we have to go to school with this filth", sneered a hyena? He didn't let it faze him, he had been made fun of all his life, so why let it bother him now.
Luckily he already knew where his locker was so he hurried over there and put away his backpack and got his books for his first few classes. Suddenly, his locker was slammed shut. Joey slowly looked up to see a six foot tall muscled pit bull. He had blond hair and blue eyes, and if he wasn't threatening Joey right now he might have thought of him as cute.
"We don't want your kind here, human, You should leave now before you get hurt, it can be dangerous at school", suggested the pit bull. Joey, shied away as the pit bull lifted his fist menacingly.
"Knock it off Duke"! Joey turned to see a 6'3" tall muscled black wolf, with dark grey fur coming out the top of his shirt. He didn’t think he had ever seen anyone as hot as the wolf. He was wearing a red tee-shirt and a pair of tight, blue jeans. He had piercing silver eyes and wavy dark hair that seemed to caress his head.
Duke turned to the wolf and said, "Mind your own business, Nick, I'm just teaching him what we do to humans around here!"
Nick shoved Duke, "Just because he is a human doesn't give you the right to pick on him".
Duke glared back, "Your lucky this time human, but just you wait, you'll get what filth like you deserves", as he walked off laughing.
Nick looked down at Joey and asked if he is ok. Joey looks at Nick and is dumbstruck, Nick is just so gorgeous looking and he's a nice guy. Joey blushes and feels himself getting a little erect. Joey blushes more deeply and then runs down the hall toward his first class, Nick says wait! Then he catches a scent of something? Arousal, No it couldn't be, could it?
Joey walks into his class just as it starts. Looking around the room he sees lots of eyes on him some curious, others filled with hatred. He looks at the teacher's desk to see a fortyish looking panther, and on the chalk board is the name Mr. Hale.
Mr. Hale clears his throat and says, "Maybe you should grab an open seat so we can start class". Joey blushes and hurries to the back of the class in the right corner to an empty seat, there are a couple empty seats so he is alone in the corner.
Mr. Hale starts to teach Algebra II while Joey is deep in thought about his savior. Nick was so warm and inviting, it would be too much to ask for him to be gay too. Sigh. Oh well, he could still dream couldn't he. Class went by quickly as did the next few, though Joey didn't feel comfortable in any of his classes from all the stares he was getting. Soon lunch arrived and Joey was relieved because he was starting to get a little hungry.
While waiting in line Joey suddenly got shoved, as a tiger told him he should go to the end of the line where he belongs. Joey dropped his head and walked to the end of the line. When he finally gets to the front, they are out of pizza so he just gets a salad from the salad bar.
He anxiously looks around for an empty table, not wanting to repeat any of the violence he had received lately. He saw a paw waving him over to a table with a few other furs sitting there. He immediately recognized Nick and shyly walked over and sat down.
"Hey dude, I didn't get your name this morning after you ran off, sorry about Duke he is just a jerk of the school and thinks he's tough shit".
"My n...name is Joey", Joey stammered.
Nick smiled and outstretched his hand, "Nice to meet you Joey I'm Nick and this is Paul, Ricky, and Lucy". He pointed to a cheetah, fox and rabbit respectively. They all seemed friendly and didn't stare at him much.
"We are all juniors, what grade are you in Joey", asked Nick?
"I'm a sophomore", he replied.
"Cool, what classes do you have next", Nick questioned?
"My classes are Chemistry, English Honors and Gym is my last one of the day".
Nick smiled, "I have all those classes with you at least now you have someone to talk to". Joey blushed, and tried to cover it up by looking down at his plate and eating some of the salad. The bell rang and everyone got up and started heading toward their classes.
"We can walk together since we have the same classes", said Nick. Joey liked that idea because it gave him more time to be around this hunk of a wolf, he even let Nick get ahead of him so he could get a peek of his ass.
The tight dark jeans he was wearing really showed off his ass. The next two classes went well since Nick had sat next to him and they chatted when they could. Finally gym came and Joey was worried about how he would do with all of the hot males doing physical activities.
He went into the locker room and changed at a record pace so he wouldn't have to stay and watch the others change. He didn't trust himself not to get a hardon. The gym coach said that were going to do some simple stuff today, pushups, sit-ups and a few other simple exercises before they used the rest of the period for free time. Nick offered to partner up with Joey.
Joey held Nick's feet as he was doing some sit-ups and couldn't help but glance at Nick's crotch every time he thought Nick wasn't looking. His shorts started to tighten and he tried to think about something else, since a boner would be painfully obvious in his shorts.
Slowly he calmed down and somehow managed to get through the rest of gym without exposing himself. Finally it was time to go home. Nick called Joey over as they were headed out the door of the school.
"Do you need a ride home"? Joey replied in the affirmative; as they got into Nick's car he told him where he lived and Nick let out a whistle.
"You only live two houses down from me", Joey laughed he hadn't met any of his neighbors yet and he was glad that Nick was one of them. As they pulled up to Joey's house Nick let out a sigh.
"What is the matter Nick"?
Nick looked at Joey, "Joey I have a confession, I'm gay and I think your hot, I know your probably not into guys but I couldn't stand not telling you". Joey couldn't believe his ears; this hunk that he had practically drooled over all day was gay as well?
Joey smiled, "I don't mind at all Nick". Joey then leaned over and pecked a quick kiss on Nick's cheek before jumping out of the car and running into the house, blushing. Nick was surprised but then smiled; thinking that this year of school was indeed going to be a lot of fun.
Joey ran into the house and collapsed on the couch. He started to almost hyperventilate; he was so excited and anxious. He couldn't bring himself to believe what he had just done, he had kissed a guy. And that guy had freely admitted to being gay. Suddenly he got depressed, he figured he wouldn't be Nick's type and Nick wouldn't want anything to do with him, being that he didn't think was very pretty.
Sighing, Joey got up and got something to eat, after that he had a quick shower before starting on his homework. By the time he was finished and had watched a few TV shows, he heard the door open and realized it was nine and his mom was home. He jumped downstairs to greet his mother who immediately noticed his happy attitude and figured his first day at the new school had gone well.
He explained to his mom that he had made a few friends and one of them only lived two doors down. His mom sighed inwardly, glad that Joey had found someone close in the neighborhood to be his friend.
She had worried that because he was not a fur that he would have a really tough time making any new friends and would be picked on at school. It wasn't like she didn't care but they had to move here because this was the best job she could get and hope to be able to support them well enough that Joey would have the things he would need. They sat and ate some Chinese that his mom had picked up on the way home.
His mom suddenly realized that it was late about eleven forty five so she shooed Joey up to his room telling him he would need plenty of sleep for tomorrow. Joey agreed, grudgingly and headed off to his room he set his alarm clock and decided he would just go straight to sleep.
But Joey couldn't fall asleep he kept thinking about Nick and what would happen tomorrow when he saw him in class. He eventually fell asleep but not before he had ran quite a few scenarios of what would go wrong tomorrow.
