A big change...

"Good Morning!", shouted Akaro from the Kitchen. I walked downstairs a bit exhausted. "Morning honey." I sat down on the chair and had breakfast. I asked Akaro: "Where is Arctic?" "He went to work earlier. He wanted to try the same thing we did yesterday evening. I am actually a top person but that was just amazing." "Then wait until tonight." We smiled and got ready. Off to work, of course.

TOMORROW INC., TESLA CITY, BETA DIMENSION, 08:06 (8:06 am)

We went to the Cafeteria and got ourselves a coffee. I need these everyday otherwise I would just drop on the floor. Really. Well, not really. But it's important, alright? "Where do you think are they doing it?", I asked Akaro. "Probably on the toilet. Or in a locked office. Or maybe even in his office."

I felt this weird feeling again. The worry of me changing. Me being actually changed. I had semi-sex with someone I knew for maybe a week or two. But to be honest I always doubted my sexuality. I guess I found it then.

TCH, TESLA CITY, BETA DIMENSION, 08:35 (8:35 am)

"Tell Doctor Sheffield we have him back in Hospital. Who knows what happened this time", a nurse said. "Cancel Doctor Sheffield, we need an expert. Tell Akaro Velmo to-" "Forget that. We need a contamination chamber, immediately." The nurses argued over where to put me and who to send. But what?! Contamination chamber? What the hell happened to me...

"Call Jeger." "He is on vacation!" "I don't care if he is in NEVADA or ON THE NORTHPOLE. Call him now!" The nurse took her phone out: "Sir? We need Jegermaistro. Yes I know but you know how Sarah can be." "I am standing here." "Just call him in we have someone very special back indoors. Case 3. Yes. Mutating. Ok."

As far as I were able to listen to this conversation I noticed two very disturbing and worrying things: Number 1: Case 3 is a patient whose body is going through a completely unknown state of transformation. Number 2: Mutating. Mutating means either you have been diagnosed with cancer or a different kind of cell mutation. Since I never showed a hint of a possible cancer infection the second part worried me.

I was carried into a room that got hermetically sealed. I was bound to a bed, since the nurses didn't know what was going to happen. "Sarah?" "Yes?" The nurses were talking again. "Jegermaistro is apparently in town already. He was on his way home. Got a lucky day then, huh?" "Don't think this is called luck. He doesn't look healthy and he has a worried friend sitting out in the waiting room. You can say we're lucky when he survives this.

Thank you for more fear and whatnot you just gave me by saying this. Survive? I mean I survived the travel here but this does actually worry me even more. I heard doors being opened fastly and a very muscular and around 28 years old deer stepped into the little observation room. He talked with the nurses and took a little mic into his hand: "Hi there, I'm Jegermaistro, but you can call me Jeger. As you might have heard you are a Case 3 with Mutation in process. If you haven't yet, well... You know now." "What is happening with me." "We have no clue yet but it looks bad. Really bad." "Thanks for calming me down." "No problem. We will take some blood samples and analyse them." I had to be a smartass at this point: "Take cell examples and check the mutation rate. Then determine the change with a doubled DNA check with a time difference of thirty minutes." He just stared at me with an open mouth. "You did your homework." "Long story."

In the next second Akaro came by and stood there. He looked so sad. I smiled slightly at him but wasn't in the mood for joking around. I wasn't sure but as far as I could tell a tear slowly ran down his cheek. Jeger spoke to him: "You are..." "Akaro. Akaro Velmo." "It is a pleasure to meet you. You have really helped the medicine with your progress in regenerative cell research." "Will he be okay?" "We have diagnosed a Case 3 with Mutation." Akaro changed from his sad face to a face that had a wonderful idea. "Doc, send some cell samples to my lab at Tomorrow Inc. and step by, I got an idea!" He rushed off and left Jeger just standing there. He took the mic back into his hand: "He seemed really sad about it. More than just a normal friend. But he seems to have an idea that could save you." "He is more than my friend, yes." "It's good to see more of these types of couples, I thought I was the onliest one." I was a little bit surprised: "So you have dated-" "A Zebra, yes. Still am and he is amazing." "What's his name?" " Stripes" "If I survive this. I'll invite you to a double date and pay the drinks." I found myself back in my world. I was joking with Edwards about something that Foster did. I think this is the type of dream that shows you what you haven't got anymore. I saw myself turning away and he... That bastard. That devilish bastard. If I ever come back into my world he is going to be a dead man. THIS ASSHOLE PUT SOMETHING IN MY COFFEE. ON THE MORNING OF DEPARTURE.

"He's waking up!", cheered Jeger. "Nick! Hang in there!", shouted Akaro. "I am sorry about the bondage thing but we have to keep you on the chair.", said Jeger. "Hey Akaro. If I come out of there can we lend these? They could be quite useful for the bedroom." Akaro had a slightly worrying look on his face: "Doc, he is changing. Not only in appearance." They both stepped away a bit and talked: "What do you mean?" "When I first met him he was... shy. He was against all of the sexuality that is more normal for us." "I know what you mean. I still sat on the chair, bound to it and something started to feel weird. "AAARGH. MAKE IT STOP PLEASE! PUT ME IN A COMA OR DO ANYTHING." The pain rushed through the whole of my body. They both stood there and just watched like I was some sort of test subject. I can understand that they can't do anything against it. "We can do something, hang on!" "What are you talking about?", said Jeger.

Akaro broke the door open and released me. He grabbed me tight and we started kissing. A deep and long kiss that was certainly lowering the pain. I felt a pressure around my back. My new Me

I now just stood there. Looking down at myself. I still couldn't believe what happened. "Holy moley, that is..." So did Jeger just stand there and glare. I saw what happened. I mean, I am what happened. I transformed. I... Did more than just change.

"I'm naked." I said still frozen from what happened. The situation got a bit awkward as the two now looked down at me. "Not bad!" said Akaro. "Could have been worse I guess" was what Doctor Jeger said. "You know, it might have stayed human in a certain way, it did transform a bit." I just stood there, staring at my own crotch that I dind't recognize at all. I got an explanation from my fellow doctor: "In the furry world there are humanoid genitalia and, well, the ones that others normally would have. You can't really differ them since they are about equal in terms of rarity. But still, congratulations! You can keep what you had. Just without all the messy hair down there and-" "Yes, because now I have it everywhere. Anyway, could you two please stop staring at my crotch and maybe get me some clothing?" I have no idea why my clothes were teared apart but I stood in front of a mirror. I could see myself fully now: I was a wolf. I was just standing there looking at myself and not seeing me. But I mean it could have been worse. And the most surprising bit: My 7 inch seem to have grown to 9.5 inch. I have no idea who or what caused this yet, but I will find out. That is for sure.

Meanwhile Akaro came back with a set of clothes. "I think I know why my personality changed!" "Oh, I can see something that definitely changed for the better!", said Akaro with a flirty voice. "Just an inch beneath yours." I smiled at him and he smiled back.

I put the clothes on and had to sit down. So many new things to get used to. A tail and, well in my case human hands but claws on my feet. And only four toes. It was very awkward to me. But I think I just have to get used to it. Since I don't quite know if someone can fix it. Although fixing seems... harsh. Let's just say I hope there's some sort of 'Revert back to Factory Settings' in case I need to. Akaro stood there: "It might be an inch beneath mine, but certainly precious, that's for sure." "Oh hush." I had to giggle. Still in these types situations he can be flirty. And that's what I love about him. He is just perfect in every way. Flirty, funny, caring, loving and a good stamina.

It was weird that this kind of conversation was so calm. But hey, we are mature anthropomorhpic lovers who are talking about their sex life. And I must say: I am looking forward to this.

SO19 HQ, LONDON, ALPHA DIMENSION, DOOMSDAY

People were running around and telephones rang everywhere. Total chaos has layed itself over the office of London's Special Task Force Unit. The head director had an incoming call of a mass massacre at Tomorrow Inc. He dispatched multiple teams and sat at his desk, trying to find out what exactly happened. He just sat there thinking: "I have no idea what happened this time but it must have been more than just an accident. I never really trusted that 'City' but now they managed to do total chaos."

MEANWHILE IN ONE OF THE RESPONSE VEHICLES

The group leader began to discuss the plans for securing victims and eliminating threats: "Do not fire without my command. Our first priority is to save the wounded and assist as good as we can. If someone or _something_displays a clear threat, wait for my fire command." "AYE, SIR!", shouted the whole team. The vehicle gained speed as there was an incoming call: "To all units, this is dispatch. We have confirmed reports of massive damage and multiple corpses, over." "This is Unit four dash seven, ten four, over and out."

AT TOMORROW INC.

Even worse was the situation there. Fire and Biohazard alarms instructed everyone to evacuate. Masses of employees are trying to get out of the building. Fire responses are walking into the horde of shocked and scared people. They push forward to the staircases and begin their walk into the dangerzone. Section 5. The plan is very clear for them: "Extuingish fires and save possible survivors." But one man has been declared missing shortly before the accident happened. Edward.

Also known as Edward Snowden. Mid twenties and divorced parents. He accepted the job to infiltrate the facility and cause chaos. It is believed that he works for a bigger organisation trying to put a line through the science project. It is unknown whether they are doing so due to religous reasons or if they just want to "show off".

BACK AT SO19, LONDON

"Sir, we are missing a person", said one of the employees who just walked into the chef's office. "We're not only missing some, we got corpses all over the place." "We are missing someone from the employee list." "What exactly do you mean by that?" "Someone who was there when it happened just vanished out of all the documents. Witnesses who fled were able to tell us." "His name?" "Edward Snowden. He was working there as an assistant for Nick Sheffield who is now completely missing from the whole facility. Some sort of teleporter or something, god knows where they went." "It's worse than I thought..."

Someone knocked on the door: "Sir?" "How can I help you?" "There is something you should see." "Well then, put it on my desk." "In the conference room. Maximum discretion. Only the higher stands are allowed in there." "Right, tell them I'm on my way." "I will" and she left again.

As the boss wanted to walk out the other employee tapped his shoulder: "Sir, how bad is it?" "Judging by the city of freaks and now that. Bad is a horrible underestimation."

SO19 CONFERENCE ROOM

All sorts of important people were sitting at a big round table. Minister of Defense, Prime Minister, Security Chief of Tomorrow Inc. and of course the chef of the SO19.

The prime minister stood up: "We have one hell of a big problem, men. There has been more than just an accident at Tomorrow Inc." The security chief stood up aswell: "I can confirm. The following information I will give you must be treated with absolute discretion and must stay in this room and in our ears for everyone's sake. We don't need a mass panic." The chef of SO19 said to himself: "My god what have they done this time..." The security chef continued: "We have not only found limbs of our fellow employees...", he said holding up pictures of the chamber and laying them on the table: "But also we have found something else..." He held up a picture that displayed several anthropomorphic limbs. The prime minister asked: "What the hell is that?" The security chief continued: "These are limbs of anthropomorphic beings. That means they are a crossrace between humans and animals. They share many properties but mostly have a human body form." "Worse than a teleporter?", asked the chef of SO19. "Definitely. That means someone must have created a link between different worlds and thereby endangering the structure of both." "But I can't see how a little tunnel to another thing could endanger everything", said the minister of defense. The security chief explained: "Imagine you had two wooden blocks. The wind blows against them but they still are stable. If you punch a whole through both, the wind can go through the middle and endanger the structures by weaking them in the center. The same could happen to our dimensions." "Then what can we do?", the SO19 chief wanted to know. "Wait and see. Since there is a chance of both worlds still being stable. That although depends on the size of this... Tunnel" "Great, that means we can sit here, watch my men trying to rescue more victims and protecting the area. I always knew they would blow themselves up in the end..." The prime minister defended: "Tesla City is a stable and working project. Accidents are normal and half of your equipment has been developed there."

The discussion continued and the missing exploration team has not been found yet. At least not in the Alpha Dimension. But going back to the Beta Dimension...

Unexpected visit

"It was not my fault!", shouted Akaro as we stood in the kitchen. "You threw the controller, just because you didn't hit the Baseball", I said laughing at how Akaro managed to damage the TV. I mean I managed to do something similar but this was just so amusing.

"Haha, very funny, isn't it?", said Akaro who just slapped two slices of Toast onto his plate. "I mean you just threw it, haha" "No, I forgot the fasten the fucking belt of it and made an agressive movement with my arm." "Very nice try to talk yourself out of it." We sat down at the kitchen table and I began to let thoughts fly through my head: "I still can't believe what happened. And all of it was... Amazing. Sad. Nerve-Wrecking but new. And it was certainly weird. But I never thought I would find someone I truly loved. But there I am. Maybe not the way I imagined it, now after the transformation, but here I am. And I like it. Having someone who cares. That is just amazing." "Do you want me to get you a pillow?", asked Akaro who had already finished eating and now just stood there with his tilted head. "I guess a coffee will do..." "You know what the doc said. Stay at home and relax. At least until tonight." "Yeah, nearly forgot, our dinner for four." "Mhm." "That means I can lay on the couch and do nothing." "Or we could go up and lay down on my bed, cuddling." "Of course! After you go and buy your gentlemen a coffee. Please." "Fine. But I am looking forward to tonight."

I still felt weird. But for the fact that I had such a fast process of transormation I could control my tail quite easily already. So the onliest thing left to do is sitting here, drooling into the middle of nowhere while waiting for my body to calm down again. My pulse was still raised and my breathing a bit faster than usual.

"Hello! I took the day off since I heard what happened!", said the worrying Arctic: "Whoa. It was unexpected but I certainly like the look!" "Well, integration will be my smallest problem I guess. Or better, no problem at all." "I mean sure it must be difficult to have a whole new body but it can be really awesome." "I guess."

Arctic made a motion with his finger asking me to sit down on the couch. He looked at the broken TV and began laughing: "Haha, don't tell me. My bro lost a game and got angry." "Please, Arctic. Stay neutral. His belt was not fastened and he made a quick movement with his arm." "Yeah, sounds pretty much like him."

"I'm back!", shouted Akaro who walked through the opened door: "Didn't know we're heating for the city now." "Oh, sorry", said Arctic who now quickly closed the house door. "Got your coffee, babe." "Thanks."

He gave me a quick kiss and we sat down. We all really didn't know what to do, so Arctic had an idea: "I'll quickly go to the hardware store, see if I can find us a new TV. You two, behave!" "Can't promise that!", sad Akaro and Arctic left.

"You promised me cuddling." "I did. Let's go upstairs." We both stood up and walked up into Akaro's Bedroom, which was unofficially mine aswell. We layed down on the bed and just smiled at each other. It was a moment that I could never forget. There were thoughts shooting through my head like a bullet, but the onliest I claimed on was: "I am happy." We kissed multiple times and cuddled as we heard the doorbell.

I said to Akaro: "Has Arctic got keys?" "Yeah, normally he has." "Did he ever forget them?" "Not really. He always carries them around." "I'll quickly go and look." "Ok, I am waiting", he said with his sexy smile on again. "Do me a favor and never ever change the way you smile!"

I walked downstairs and opened the door. My jaw dropped. Edward just stood there. He looked exhausted. But it was him, standing there just looking. We looked directly in each other's eyes as he began to speak: "Nick, is that you?" Out of the blue I just felt one emotion: Anger. My arm went back and forth again as I gave him a good punch into his face. He fell back a bit and held his now broken glasses in his hands. He started bleeding out of the nose but I didn't care. "What the hell do you want from me. And I'm telling you if you don't speak quickly your nose will be your smallest problem!" I was filled with just anger at him. "I need your help." Confusion now filled me. Did he just say that he needed my help? "Look, I know I did horrible things back then but I saw something I shouldn't have seen." I wanted to start talking as the bedroom door opened: "Honey, everything alright?" "Who's that? Your lover?", asked Edward. "One more comment and they will need a coroner", I said fleeching my teeth at him. "Look at you Nick! You were a sheer success and I always believed in you. You are astonishing." "Don't change the subject you stubborn cheating arse!" Akaro now stood besides me: "Is that the Edward you told me of in the Hospital?" "Yes, but-", and before I could finish the sentence Akaro threw himself onto Edward, who was now on the ground: "YOU LITTLE SHIT I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO DIE, WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!"

Akaro now scared me a bit. I never saw that side of him. "Hun, could you please get off him, he's on our side." He refused and still sat on him, squeezing Edward's guts. "I will when that bastard is in hospital aswell." I tried to pull Akaro off but he refused. He then continued with the... 'Interrogation'. "Why are you here and who are you working for!" "Akaro, no, you are not good at it. Just let me ask him. You're not making things better when he can't breathe." He had to think for a moment before getting off him but in the end he did. "Thank you. I couldn't breathe", said Eddie. "One wrong move and breathing is going to-" "Akaro, calm down, please." "Fine then." So I went on and further asked Ed: "As Akaro said, why are you here exactly." "I noticed how the organisation I was working for planned on something far worse than what happened back at Tomorrow Inc." Akaro really wanted to hurt him and I kept my arm in front of him. But then again I am not surprised. He saw me in pain and he wants Ed to pay for it. But not before I got my answers... "And what exactly did you notice?" "There were files of plans on... Conquer and destruction of this world. Also known as the BETA." I was in a shock moment there. Destruction? But why? What has this world done to mine? Or the other way around? "And why would they want to destroy it?" "Because this organisation is convinced that there could be only humans." "Now give me a reason to not let my Boyfriend have fun with you." Akaro just smiled devilish and he surely wanted Ed to feel pain and pain only. "Because of the way I am talking, Nick. I am done with these people. I got enough of their idiotic believes. And I think your lover broke my nose." "Wait until I-", I interrupted Akaro: "I guess that sounds plausible to me. For now we might work together but don't you dare to think that you will just walk away after this." "Of course. I know what I have done and after this whole thing is over I will surrender." "To who exactly?", I wanted to know. "To the SO19." "They will make short process with you. No courts, lifetime prison. And that is exactly what you deserve." I was still holding Akaro back but I noticed how he relaxed a bit more. He surely did want to hurt Eddie, but not as long as he's useful to us.

We walked inside and sat down at the kitchen table. Ed started talking: "The organisation calls themself 'The Humane'. But everything they do is far away from being humane. Their belief is that only humans should be allowed to live." It was worse than I initially thought. Akaro was calmed down again and we listened to what Ed had to say: "The organisation always had a bridge device between these worlds. They are rogue scientists like us with the difference that they went mad. And when I say mad, I mean really mad." I asked: "And what can we do to stop them?" "That's the question. But first we have to find out where exactly they are." "You were with them but you didn't know where they are ?" "I was blindfolded when we traveled from one side to another. The plan was completely different than it happened in ALPHA. Which is the human universe. The plan was originally to just simply gain access to Tomorrow Inc.'s systems so they could remotely shut it down. I didn't know that they planned on overloading the system." "So you were used. But this still doesn't make you innocent." "I know and as I said, I will face the consequences. But for now we will have to work together." Akaro got a grin in his face: "I think it's better to surrender the SO19 in the human world. Really, you don't want to end up in one of our prisons, hehe." "What do you mean by-", I interrupted Ed: "He is just joking. So, were you able to collect any intel?" "Not yet, Nick. But I have heard rumors about an old and abandoned building outside the city.
