A lonely writer goes to a solitary cabin in the mountains, but he wasn't prepared for the experiences that followed, or what he may meet...

(work imported from AO3)

Decided to start posting some of my previously written furry fics on here, I figure it's more of the target audience for these :)

“It’ll be so nice to finally clear my head”, I thought as I began the winding descent up the mountain range. I'm in a small SUV I borrowed from my cousin who lives in this area, but about 50 miles away from where I’ll be staying.

I wanted to make sure I prepared for this trip, so I briefly glanced into my back seat so I can calm my anxious mind, and be sure that nothing has mysteriously disappeared.

I look to the backseat to see a collection of emergency blankets, a crank flashlight, a small collection of canned food, some oil for my oil lamp, a silver tea kettle with a cup, and of course my vintage black typewriter. I breathed a sigh of relief, and reassured myself that I was going to enjoy this trip.

Even though it’s the twenty-first century, I had always been a real sucker for doing things the old fashioned way, and with a typewriter there are no do-overs, so each click and print of ink pressed onto the line must be a deliberate and calculated idea. I’d like to think this has allowed me to make less mistakes, and forces me to contemplate over what I want to write more.

“Shit!-”

I gasped, as I began to lose traction on my tires and started to careen to the edge of the cliff, but I quickly corrected my steering as I began to reach the top of the hill. I had gotten distracted again, and possibly would have ended my journey before it even started if I wasn't careful. There was no one else up here with me, so if something were to happen, I would almost certainly be on my own, which is why I brought some supplies with me.

It was a nice day today, and I could see snow softly falling on the ground, as I began to approach my destination that was only a half mile away. I turned my eyes to the radio, and flipped the knob around to hear the current weather report and to know what to expect on my trip.

I honestly didn’t know how long I was going to stay here, but my main goal was just to write and relax in my own company, with no distractions and to have beautiful nature around me.

“Forecasts predict that a winter storm may be approaching in a few days in bzzzt~ county. Please stay vigilant and stay indoors if you notice any bad signs of weather, and remember to always call- bzzzzt~”

The radio signal began to fade off and lose signal even after I fiddled with the dial a bit, so I eventually shut it off in acceptance, and prayed that I would not be in a bad situation the next couple of days. If anything, I was hopeful that all the time inside may give me a few ideas.

I finally approached my destination after a short time, and began to look at where I was going to be staying. This cabin was quite small, and the wood looked to be a dark oak with a smooth varnish, no doubt made out of the gorgeous and mighty trees that are found in this region. The wood also gave off a very pleasant sweet aroma of aged wood, cider, and traces of the smooth and warm smell of spiced rum.

Walking inside, I saw two small windows, one by the door, and one by the wall with a view that showed a vast mountain range. In this cabin was also a bed by the back wall with a deep red wool bedspread, a small table with a chair, a beautifully knitted green and white rug on the floor, a fireplace in the corner, and a small gas stove on the opposite wall, with an electric light, and small wooden cabinet above it. I briefly chuckled to myself because this cabin seemed to be full of possible fire hazards, so I wanted to be extra careful to be sure that I would not create a problem I would have trouble solving.

Having surveyed the place where I would be staying, I was very content with what I saw, and walked outside to begin unloading my vehicle. As I was doing so, I saw the sun begin to dip in the sky, bathing it with light tones of gold and pink. I was struck at the beauty of what I saw, but I was also grateful that I did not arrive here when it was getting dark.

As I shut the trunk and had my typewriter case in hand, it was nightfall, and I was beginning to walk back to my cabin about twenty yards away to finally settle in. It was now when I suddenly began to get the strange feeling I was being watched by something. All of the sudden, I heard the snap of a stick a little ways away from where I was standing.

“Who’s there?” suddenly whipping my head behind me, eyes darting and straining to find what made the noise.

My eyes then set upon a creature in the shrouded woods. It was enough to see it, but not enough to have a striking view. It looked to be a sort of wolf, with light white spots on its face and a deep shade of brown on its coat. Even from where I was standing it looked very large, and bigger than how I thought most wolves would look. Around its eyes were patches of black fur, and its ears were upright almost as if it was listening intently to what I might say next.

I then noticed piercing eyes, which were a color of deep, shining amber, but the expression they conveyed didn’t seem fiery. Instead, they seemed warm and inquisitive. Seeing me, this wolf-like creature suddenly darted back into the woods. I swore I almost saw it run on two legs, but that wasn't possible…was it? I began to sprint back to the cabin terrified that I was being hunted, where I then shut the door and locked it.

After I had fully unpacked everything to calm myself down, and sat in my chair for a few minutes to process what I had just seen in a clear state of mind, I kept on thinking of that creature! The ferocity, power and grace of the animal and its gaze had mesmerized me, and for some reason…I found myself wanting more.

Since that whole incident happened, and also because it was pretty late, I decided to rest for the night so I could write with a clear mind tomorrow. And so I brewed a nice, hot cup of sweet herbal tea with orange and agave, because I often have insomnia and can’t sleep. After sitting in silence and sipping it all, I climbed into my bed, letting my exhaustion take over. I listened to the peaceful sound of the snow falling outside, birds flying around the trees, and what I thought was the distant howl of a lone wolf, but I didn’t pay it any attention as I shut my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke to the sound of ravens squawking in the distance, and a soft sunbeam coming through my window. It was enough to illuminate the cabin, but it didn't strain my eyes when I opened them. I was so glad that I didn’t sleep in for what felt like the 10th time in a row, and got out of bed and made myself a hot cup of oatmeal with brown sugar, letting the warmth of the oatmeal begin to wake me.

After brushing my teeth, I sat down at the table ready to write, and set the typewriter’s locking mechanism in place with a *ching*, putting a fresh page of parchment paper in. Sitting on the chair, my fingers hesitated on making the first move, and I began caressing the smooth ivory keys with my fingers, unsure of what to write. It was around this time when I became aware of just how quiet everything was, and I started to ruminate on my past.

It had been several years since I had been in a relationship, things didn’t end badly, but we had just drifted apart. After we last talked all those years ago, I worried intimacy may never happen again, and throughout the years I became more introspective and reclusive, and found my refuge in writing. I often found myself meditating on the idea of soulmates and relationships, despite my inherent shyness and skepticism.

I’m often kept up at night and at the typewriter thinking of things like “does lasting love even exist?” and wonder sometimes if I’ll get to bare my soul to anyone else. I find being in these quiet moments, you feel other people’s absence much more.

“Maybe coming on this trip won’t be as productive as I thought, if I just keep reminiscing on things the whole time” I whispered.

The biggest goal I had now was just to take my mind off of things and come back later, and hoped inspiration for my next story would strike me eventually. Maybe spending some time outside would help me feel better, and I had always loved the silence and solace of the cold anyway.

I then put on a soft yellow sweater over my underwear, and decided to accessorize with black wool trousers, and snow boots with a large wool lined dark blue parka. I happened to not find a snow hat that I liked when I was preparing for this trip, so I decided not to worry about one and just put up my hood. I decided that I would be coming back in a few hours, so I took a meal I had prepared, a pen and small notebook for ideas, and also a flip lighter with me, but hoped that I wouldn't need it. I also noticed that the sun was hard to see in the sky because of the clouds shrouding it, and the increasing snowfall was making it harder to tell the time of day it was.

“I can just leave an electric light on in this cabin, and start to come back in the evening” I finally thought, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t out here in the dark by myself. I knew it could be quite dangerous to be out in the cold late at night, and I really didn’t want to know what kind of animals might live in this area…

After walking around for a few hours, I guessed that I was a few miles from the cabin. I had finally finished my meal, but still I couldn't think of any ideas. To make matters worse, there were some gray clouds completely covering the sun as it was beginning to go down. The snow began to fall harder and faster, and when I thought I was really close to the cabin, the visibility from the snow dropped all the way to zero, and I could feel myself getting hopelessly turned around. It was now when I realized that I was actually lost. I sat down in the snow because I needed to get my bearings on where I was.

The wind was howling so loud I could barely hear myself think, and the snow and cold stung my eyes and bit into my flesh. I suddenly felt tired and wanted to take a nap, and started to nod off when I heard the screech of a bird.

This was enough to startle me out of my exhaustion and I sprang to my feet. “If I stay here, I’m going to die”.

I began to strain my eyes for something, anything, to look for. Then suddenly…”Yes! In the distance… A light!” I exclaimed, and I ran towards this beacon of salvation, a ray of hope. The snow was thick, and I felt like I could barely move, but I still kept going. It felt so close I could almost touch…

It. I suddenly realized that I had stepped off of flat ground, and was now tumbling very fast down a hill. In my panic, I tried to spread out as much as possible to slow myself down. Then I felt something hit my right calf very hard, and I fought to stay conscious as I finally came to a stop.

As I began to lose consciousness, I thought I saw a figure approaching very close to my body, and hoped that it was help, but I didn’t care, as my vision finally went dark.

I slowly awoke to almost pitch black darkness except for the slight bit of light at the end of where I was, so I correctly realized that I must be in a small cave of some kind.

“Oh, you’ve finally awoken, I hope that fall didn’t injure you too badly. -You know it’s quite dangerous for someone like you to be out in the cold.”

I was immediately startled, hearing a woman’s voice from the other side of the cave, but it was close. The voice had a sort of deliberate, measured slowness, but also a degree of playfulness, and it dripped with a tantalizing honey.

“Who’s there?” I called out. I really wanted to know who this figure was and how they found me.

“I happened to find you out in the cold, and I didn’t want you to freeze, think of me as your guardian angel perhaps” she laughed. ”There’s a pile of dry sticks in the middle of this cave, see if you can light it with that lighter you brought with you” she replied.

“How did you-” I decided to not finish my thought and just do as she said.

“Before you light this fire, I must warn you that my appearance may be startling, because I may frighten your kind. But I want to assure you that I mean no harm, so do not be afraid.”

I didn’t really know what she meant, but I was very cold and my clothes were wet, so I really wanted to get warm. I laid the sticks upright and began to flick the lighter, praying that it had enough fluid to light. It finally lit, and the wood caught on fire. After I made sure the fire was going to stay, I looked up- and was very surprised.

It was the wolf creature I saw earlier, except now that I was closer I noticed a lot more about her. The head was just like a wolf’s, except for a lot of facial expressiveness and the warm piercing gaze from earlier. I also noticed that this time she was upright on very muscular and well developed haunches, slightly leaning against the wall. She looked about six foot seven, towering over me in comparison. She also had very smooth hair on her stomach that was light in color, with very wide, curvy hips, and large breasts.

I had to keep myself from staring too much, and I think she noticed this as well. “Like what you see?” She remarked coyly as her long dark brown tail swayed from side to side.

“I-um-I” I was stuttering so much I couldn't think.

“Don’t worry about it” she laughed “it's a much better reaction than most humans would have”. “And speaking of which, I should probably tell you what I am.”

“Yeah that might be helpful.”

“Well then” she started with her eyes in a gleeful stare. “I don’t have a name, but for your ease, I am what your kind would call…A werewolf I believe.”

“That sounds about right to me.”

“But if I am being truthful, I am actually a forest spirit that has chosen to manifest myself this way, since I came into being.”

“Just how old are you? I suppose it’s not polite to ask a woman their age but-”

“No no, it’s a…cute question” she said as she smirked. “I have existed before the mountains and forest had a name, and I’ve watched it all pass by as time has whittled away. I stopped showing age past a certain point, so I will most likely live a lot longer than most beings here.”

“It must get kind of lonely, seeing things pass and not experiencing them.” I softly inquired.

“Yes, you seem to know this feeling well, but you've just heard my story, now I want to hear yours.” she said as she laid down in a reclining position, her body facing me and ears attentively listening.

I proceeded to explain about my past relationship and my current feelings about intimacy and my longing for connection. She then replied “we seem to have a lot in common despite how different we seem. I’ve never met someone like that”. I nodded in agreement, and thought it was interesting to have a shared experience with this creature, and realized it was very special.

“Well then, I’m sure your clothes must be wet.”

She was right, and without much fuss I took everything off except for my underwear, which was still relatively dry, and put my clothes by the fire for them to heat gradually. Except since the wind was still blowing, I became very cold and began to shiver.

As I was doing so, I caught a glimpse of her face and eyes, and there almost seemed to be a hunger in them this time, as they gazed at me up and down. Then I heard wet frothing, as she began to lick along her teeth-, slowly and voluptuously, and I could see them shining brightly by the light of the fire.

Then the She-werewolf spoke up saying, “why don’t you lay close to me?, I can keep you warm tonight.” I felt a little uncomfortable because I didn’t want to intrude on her space, but she beckoned me with her paw that was like a hand, and I laid down next to her body. She then wrapped her paws around me and laid against my back. She was very warm, and it was more comfortable than any kind of fur I’ve ever felt.

After a few minutes of getting comfortable I began to fall asleep. And then, I felt it.

I could sense a notable heat around my legs whooshing out, and felt a deep, and powerful throbbing from behind me, as time went on it began to get more pronounced and faster as time went on. The more I shifted, the more it happened. Faster.~and faster.~and faster. I then heard a deep rumbling moan in my ear, and I could feel the waves from the werewolf’s hot breath on the back of my neck, traveling down my spine in a shiver.

I began to feel an urge as time went on, feeling the blood drain from my face as it migrated to other more intimate places. A desire began to take my thinking and I felt like I needed to get even closer to her body.

I slowly turned in the opposite direction, to see a toothy smile facing me as we laid gazing into each other’s eyes, getting closer and closer. The hunger in her eyes was volatile now, and I could see passion and desire oozing through them like syrup.

“Do you accept me as your mate?” she languidly spoke, her moist, warm breath hitting my face again, with the strong traces of dried blood, mint and apples lingering on it.

“I accept” I said with a deep breath, “let us begin our union”

Then I started by softly bringing her face close to mine where she slowly opened her mouth very widely, her teeth glinting and dripping with saliva. We began kissing slowly and raising intensity. Her long tongue was in my mouth, and it moved around powerfully, gently caressing my tongue and the inside of my mouth, back and forth. up and down.. I gently held onto her neck and closed my eyes, savoring the moment.

She then got directly on top of me, straddling me, the weight of her body making the pulsing from below even more prominent, and slowly licked the side of my neck, going up in one stroke by my collarbone . It was rough but the vibrations from it and the churning noise made me sigh in ease.

Switching positions back to laying side by side, I began to move my hands down, slowly stroking the fur along and under her breasts, and beginning to kiss her nipples and trace along the areola with my tongue, hearing the slight giggle within her chest at the ticklish sensation. I resumed moving my hands down slowly, stopping at her hips, and beginning to rub against her front with the rest of my body.

I began to slowly press my hands on the section below her stomach, gently pressing in and out and hearing “ahhh~’s” of satisfaction echoing from her jaws

I stopped for a moment, and gently traced my fingers even lower, rubbing along and kissing the inner thighs in a slow motion for a while, before stopping my finger to gently rub along the rim of the labia and clitoris. I heard loud gasps of pleasure just starting, with a deep rumbling in her throat.

“Don’t stop!” she panted “I want you to go deeper~”

I then stuck my two fingers in a part of the way, moving in a swirling motion and hearing wet sounds, after doing this for a little while longer, I removed my fingers. “I want to keep pleasuring her,” I thought, “and save the best part of myself very soon.”

I then began to move my head very close to the she-werewolf’s vagina, feeling the heat from it along my face, before I stuck my tongue in, and began to lick along the edges and through the inside, and gently eating out the inside of it, hearing the gasps and moans of pleasure and passion above me.

I then removed my mouth, letting the delicate and heavy taste of the fluid linger on my lips and tongue. Before deciding to take a small rest, and to let her make a move next.

She then began to move down my chest with her paws, slowly licking the moisture from my body as she went. “I love the taste of you, beloved, but now I want to taste the best part~”. She then took my underwear off gently with her teeth, and then steadily began to suck my erect penis. Her tongue moving back and forth and around my penis in slow, deliberate strokes. I started to sigh deeply in enjoyment.

She then removed her mouth leaving a small string of saliva that trailed on my chest, and turned around slowly lifting her tail. I could see her vagina pulsing in heat, the inside slick with moisture, almost in unconscious anticipation for something to finally enter it.

I then waited a moment, letting the tension and suspense build before finally…I put my penis in fully, feeling the hot, wet walls constricting it and pulsing up and down inside. I began to thrust forward slowly, but then started to increase my speed gradually, hearing the wet motion growing louder and deeper.

Then the werewolf’s low moans and growls began to change into yelps and loud, long howls as she was nearing her powerful orgasmic climax.

I realized the she-werewolf was quite large in size, so I was able to put my penis all the way in very deep, and help her experience euphoric pleasure, and I was even able to lightly reach the beginning of her cervix, but not enough to hurt her.

“Yeeeesss!~ yeeesss!~ ,she panted between thrusts “fill me with you, darling”!~ she howled, finally climaxing, as she locked her haunches around my body in a firm grip.

I then felt a warm sensation in my penis and suddenly let go, ejaculating all of my fluids deep into her. It was stuck for a moment, as it was being continuously coaxed deeper inward by powerful muscles.

We then exited after some time, taking deep breaths of exertion, Both of us having thoroughly enjoyed our unique and intimate inter-species connection. I then thought about my wonderful experience with the she-werewolf, and climbed on top of her, gently kissing her on the forehead as her breathing began to slow.

Both laying down now, I once again looked into her amber moons as she began to shut them, and whispered in her ear “I’m so glad I could have this experience with you, my mate.”

She softly yelped in happiness and then whispered back in my ear “Of course my love, my soul will always belong to you.”

Then we both shut our eyes, and I slowly began to fall asleep as she hugged my body with her arms and legs, and I buried my face into her warm, soft fur, feeling safe and loved by an eternal mate.

I woke in the morning to almost silence with soft light streaming in the cave. The snow had stopped falling, so I could only hear the soft breeze at the entrance of the cave. I could also hear an owl hooting in the distance, and the soft breathing of the werewolf close to my ear.

After both waking, she asked “Did you sleep well?” lethargically licking my cheek. “Of course I did, your presence is comforting to me” I replied, kissing back.

I got up and went to check my clothes, and they were dry, but understandably a little cold from the breeze. I then put everything back on and began to stand up.

I winced in discomfort, my leg was still hurt, but it was a lot better than the day before, and I was certain that I would be able to walk well again soon after some time.

“Don’t worry about walking“ she called out “you're still injured. I know the way back from watching you a few days ago. Here- climb on my back.”

I did as she said, and we began to go back to my cabin. It was a beautiful day out and I filled my lungs with crisp, fresh air. Taking in the views, I looked around and saw dark green trees and white powder hills rushing by. We were both silent for the trip, thinking about our experiences from last night, and me, my whole trip up to now.

Trotting over the hill, I saw the cabin in front of me and I breathed a sigh of relief finally seeing total safety within my reach. Going up to the cabin, I got off my mate, and slowly limped inside. She followed me inside, ducking her head.

Taking off my parka, and sitting down on my bed, I sighed and sensed the finality of our meeting. The she-werewolf sat next to me, also sensing this, saying “I know that I would never be accepted among humans, so I must go back into the forest.”

“I understand,” I said, with sadness tinged in my voice “You belong here more than I do. I may leave this place, but I won’t ever forget our connection.”

We then both stood up and shared one last tender kiss, before she walked out the door. “Farewell my love, we will meet again when you return here” She said, before closing the door and gently trotting off. I nodded in agreement and made up my mind that I would come back here once again.

I then sat down in my chair and silence filled the cabin once again. This time though it wasn’t lonely, and I felt solace in the idea that even though I couldn’t see her, I was still being watched. I reflected on what I had learned and felt content for the first time in a while. I had begun to find comfort in the question I had asked myself when I came here.

Suddenly an idea sprang to my mind, it was shrouded, but definitely there. I then lit my small oil lamp on the table and pulled my chair forward to the typewriter, rolling up my sleeves in motivation as I started to push the first keys…
