Love, Pride, and Scones: Chapter 1
Happy pride everyone! I found myself wanting to celebrate in some way, so I decided to write a little story. However, it turned out to be a bit more than I expected. I wanted to upload the whole thing this month, but I haven't had the time to finish it; so I figured I would upload the first chapter in the meantime. Chapter 2 is in need of some editing, and I have started on chapter 3, so expect more soon!
This is the story of Kadar and Dausi. A baker who's been having a rough time recovering from a breakup, and the man he meets who helps pull him back to his feet.
Kadar is owned by me, Dausi is owned by Icy-Marth . Their references are included below.

“Kadar!" The voice called out, as soon as he entered the front door of the coffee shop. Looking around, Kadar saw heads everywhere turning towards him, his ears folding back as he could feel all those eyes on him. Kai, the excitable purple dragon who'd called his name, rushed out from behind the counter to greet him.
“H-hey Kai…I brought the stuff…" Kadar tried to speak, his soft voice coming out almost like a hoarse whisper at first. Most of the patrons in the shop had turned away, but even the few still watching their interaction at the front door made Kadar want to shrink back into his own fur. Thankfully Kai always seemed to notice when Kadar was getting uncomfortable, that's one of the reasons they had become friends in the first place. Kai was always the first to pull Kadar out of awkward social situations and give him an excuse to leave. Kadar felt a hand on his arm that started to turn and quickly lead him out the door.
Out behind the coffee shop, Kadar and Kai worked together to pull the stacks of boxes out from the back of his car. Each box was filled with various pastries, donuts, and even a few cakes, all decorated with the picture of a snowy mountain and the words “Snowpeak bakery". Kadar could feel Kai's thoughtful gaze on him every time he turned his back to grab another box, and he knew exactly what he was thinking. It was always the same conversation, and he knew that he couldn't avoid it with Kai around. The last box was unloaded, and when Kadar turned around he saw Kai standing there with his arms folded, watching him with a stern expression. “Kadar…"
“I know Kai, don't say it." Kadar tried to cut him off, but once Kai got started it was impossible to stop him.
“You know this isn't healthy Kadar. When was the last time you went out? You looked like you were about to sprint out of the shop earlier."
“Because you yelled my name and everyone was staring!" Kadar folded his ears back, his arms starting to wrap around himself. Kai stepped forward towards him, reaching out and placing a white-scaled hand onto each of his arms, facing Kadar directly towards him.
“Kadar, you can handle a few people looking at you. I've seen how you used to be; you can't just keep torturing yourself. Ever since Cas…"
“Kai, please." Kadar interrupted, cutting him off before he could finish the name. “I don't want to think about him."
“And yet it seems to be all you do." Kai insisted, pushing onwards despite Kadar's protests. “He left you, it fucking sucks. But you need more in your life than just a bakery, and more friends than just me. And when was the last time you got laid?"
“Kai!" Kadar pulled back, his ears and cheeks flushing at the bluntness of his friend. “I don't know what that has to do with anything…"
“Oh please," Kai shook his head, sighing in exasperation. “You don't want another relationship, fine. But at least find a guy to have some fun. Hang around the coffee shop a bit; I know some regulars who'd take you home in a heartbeat."
Kadar hated how much the idea appealed to him as soon as Kai mentioned it. It wasn't the first time that he'd suggested setting Kadar up with someone, they had this conversation at least once a week, and Kadar always went home with some part of him wishing he'd just take him up on the offer. But every time he thought about it, he couldn't help but think of Casey. “You know I'm not confident like you, I'm too awkward for that, and nobody wants someone who can't even hold a conversation that isn't about pastries. And I hardly dress up like…" Kadar paused, gesturing to Kai and his outfit.
“Gods, Kadar, you really need to stop putting yourself down. You look great, and guys really like the glasses. You don't need to dress like me, but you could totally pull it off." Kai lifted his arms, giving a sway of his hips. He was wearing mostly pink, a tight-fitting sleeveless crop-top that exposed his midriff. His pale white belly, light purple scales, and dark purple plating along his sides, arms, and legs, all were complimented well by the clothing. Recently, and today was no exception, he'd taken to wearing skirts to work as well, this one also a light pink color with some white stripes. The effeminate clothing was a perfect match for Kai's slender curves, a body that he loved to show off, he seemed to bask in the attention it got him.
Kadar, on the other hand, shrank away from such attention. He'd known Kai long enough to know that his clothes would fit himself as well, Kadar was a bit shorter but with a similar, slender build. But to wear something like that in public… “I'd die if I tried going out in public like that. I think I'll just stick to jeans."
“It's your choice," Kai shrugged, turning to grab some of the boxes so that they could start carrying them into the shop. “But ever since I started dressing however I want, I've gotten so much more attention. Last month I had three guys at one table ask for my number," Kai turned his head, grinning and giving a wink to Kadar. “And they all got it…"
Kadar sighed, following behind Kai to pick up another box. “Just…let me think about it, okay? I still don't think I'm ready yet."
“Alright, fine. But help me carry the rest of these in, and stop out front for your usual. A lot of nice guys hang out there around this time, and if any catch your eye I'll get their numbers for you." Kai spun around with his arms full of boxes, his skirt swaying around him as he used his tail to hold open the back door of the café.
Kadar knew the conversation was over, he wasn't going to get any further with Kai, not once he'd set his mind to something. Instead, he just focused on the task at hand, he and Kai working together to carry all the boxes into the café and load the displays. Once they'd finished the work Kai handed him the payment for his baked goods, gesturing for Kadar to sit and wait while he prepared his usual. This was a common ritual for them, and how they'd became friends in the first place. Several times a week Kadar would prepare a fresh batch of baked goods for Kai's café, pick up some coffee for himself, and then head back to the bakery for the rest of his work day.
Now Kadar found himself sitting at a small table in the corner, sipping on his latte and watching Kai go about his business. He'd gotten here early and had plenty of time before he had to get back to the bakery. Despite his best efforts, Kai's prodding was still floating around in his head. He looked around the café, unable to help himself as he eyed up some of the guys around. He watched as Kai brought drinks to a table of people, not surprised to see a muscular drulttur with black and red striped fur attempt to reach out and grab at Kai's tail. The slender dragon swayed his hips out of reach, but leaned down to give the man a flirtatious peck on the cheek. The two of them clearly had a history, which also wasn't a surprise to Kadar, and he could only assume the same was true for a few of the others at the table that were clearly eyeing Kai up and laughing at the interaction.
Kadar sighed, not for the first time wishing that he could have even just a fraction of Kai's confidence. He knew that Kai was right, he shouldn't still be isolating himself and pining after his ex for over a year, but it was hard to imagine anybody could make him feel that way again. They'd been together for years, had planned out their lives together and bought the bakery together. In the end though, it was just one too many arguments.
Shaking the thoughts from his mind, Kadar stood up from his seat, grabbing his coffee and starting to head towards the door. He turned his head, lifting a hand to wave a farewell to Kai as he walked. He was just turning his head to face forward again when he suddenly seemed to walk straight into a wall, or at least that's what it felt like. He ran straight into something large and unyielding, letting out a yelp and almost falling back onto the floor when a pair of arms grabbed him, pulling him back up.
Kadar looked up, seeing a figure towering over him. He looked like a drulttur, body covered in black and green fur, feline snout curled into an amused smile, striking, dark-green eyes staring down at him. Kadar shrank down under his gaze, his eyes drifting towards the floor as he muttered an apology under his breath. As he did, he noticed that the man's white shirt was stained dark with the remains of his coffee.
“Oh gods, I'm so sorry! I didn'tmeanto!" Kadar's voice almost squeaked as he stumbled over his words, turning away and fumbling to the nearest table. He grabbed handfuls of napkins from the dispenser, turning back and shoving them against the tall man's chest. It was an absurd number for the relatively small mess, and most of them just fell down onto the floor anyways, but still Kadar turned back to grab more of them.
“Hey…" The man put a hand on each of Kadar's shoulders, stopping him in place. His voice was deep and gruff, but he spoke with surprising softness. “It's fine, it's just a cheap shirt."
Kadar stopped, looking up at the man with wide eyes, finding something calming about his gaze. Movement caught his eye, a hand being lifted from his shoulder and reaching towards his cheek. Kadar was frozen in place, eyes following the movement as the hand touched the side of his snout, a thumb brushing against a damp spot on his fur that he'd not even noticed, wiping away at the coffee that had splattered over his snout and cheek when they'd collided.
“There you go, that's better." The man said quietly. As they stood there, two different shades of green eyes locked together, it took a few moments for Kadar to realize that he hadn't said anything else. His cheeks flushed with warmth and he quickly turned to look away, muttering what could have been another apology under his breath. Kadar stepped back out of the tall man's grip, kneeling for a moment to grab his empty cup and the mess of napkins, wiping up any remaining mess as quickly as he could before rushing away. He could almost feel the man's eyes watching him, and he made the mistake of turning back as he walked out the door, seeing that man leaning to the side against the counter, watching him with an amused grin.
Kadar didn't look back again as he sped out the door, walking around to where his car was still parked behind the café. He practically jumped in, slamming the door behind him and gripping the wheel tightly in his hands. He could still see those eyes, that beautiful green staring down at him, and feel the touch to his cheek. Kadar groaned and slammed his head back against the seat once, Kai's words echoing in his mind, his cheeks and ears flushing with warmth. It really had been too long for him…
**** Back in the Café ****
“You see what I mean?" Kai stood next to Dausi, both of them watching as Kadar hurried out the door and around the building.
“Yeah," Dausi's eyes following the white-furred drulttur's movements. “He's cute though."
“Like I said, just your type. Nice touch with the cheek, by the way. I think I saw smoke coming from his ears." Kai grinned at Dausi, giving his old friend a pat on the shoulder and starting to walk around the counter.
“Oh, definitely my type. Are you sure he'll be interested?" Dausi leaned forward against the counter, grabbing the cup of coffee that Kai had already prepared for him and taking a sip from it.
“Absolutely, he's just too shy to say anything. Bad breakup kind of broke him for a while, he just needs help getting back on his feet. Besides," Kai leaned over the counter and towards Dausi, swaying his tail behind him and sliding a business card with the words “Snowpeak Bakery" on one side, and an address and phone number printed on the other. “If you take half as good care of him as you did with me, he's going to be VERY happy that I sent you to do him. He's going to owe me one…and I expect you to give me a repeat performance once you're done with him as well."
Dausi reached out, picking up and inspecting the card for a moment before stowing it into his back pocket. He raised an eyebrow, smirking at Kai and eyeing the slender, feminine dragon up. “Hell, if you want, I'll give you a repeat performance once your shift's over…unless you want to go for a round on your lunch break instead."
“Oh, with a promise like that I can hardly wait. Come by at lunch and I'll give you the 'tour' of the back. Just make sure you save some energy for my friend." Kai's tail was swaying excitedly behind him, already looking forward to getting some alone time with Dausi again.
“Trust me Kai," Dausi met Kai's gaze with a grin, reaching out a finger to trace under his chin, watching the slight shudder through the purple dragon's body from his touch. “I've got more than enough energy for you both."
**** The next day – Snowpeak Bakery ****
It was almost the afternoon, and Kadar was already starting to feel drained. Waking up before dawn wasn't uncommon for him, he had to get to the bakery and get everything set up before the morning breakfast rush, which tended to be the busiest part of his day. He wasn't alone in the bakery for the mornings, he did have a few helpers, but after the morning shift he had the place pretty much to himself.
Normally that was the way he liked things. He spent most of his time in the kitchen, the large open window giving him a good view of the counter in case anybody walked in. He could turn some music on and just get lost in his work; cooking and baking was probably the thing he loved most. He still probably had an hour or so until the lunch rush, and today he was actually looking forward to it. He wasn't particularly social, but today was not a good day for him to be alone with his thoughts.
Despite his best efforts, the interaction with that man in Kai's café had stuck in his mind ever since; definitely not helped by the conversation with Kai just before. He didn't even know that man's name, didn't know anything about him, but just the thought of him seemed to be enough to set Kadar's mind spinning with everything he'd been denied for over a year now. Those intensely green eyes looking down at him, the large hand with a surprisingly soft touch against his cheek…everything about him was perfectly within Kadar's usual type. Kai would know that, of course, and Kadar wasn't sure if that interaction had truly been a chance encounter, or if Kai had planned the entire thing. Both options were entirely believable, Kai had tried before to set him up on blind dates, though this was a bit of an escalation.
Kadar was standing motionless in front of the open oven, a tray of cranberry-orange scones held in his mitted hands. He couldn't even remember opening the oven, much less hearing the timer going off, he'd been moving entirely on autopilot while his thoughts were consumed by a man who he'd only met once. Oh, it wasn't like he had a crush or anything, but there was a deep need that he knew he'd have to take care of himself later, maybe with a drulttur-shaped toy that he had stored under his bed. As Kadar slid the tray into the cooling shelf, he briefly wondered about the ethics of using such a toy on himself while undoubtedly picturing the face of a complete stranger in his mind…the feline muzzle shaped into a confident smirk, green eyes locked with his own…
DING!
Kadar jumped, letting out an involuntary squeak as he was shocked out of his thoughts. He hadn't even noticed anybody enter the shop, but there was apparently somebody standing out at the counter, ringing the bell and probably wondering where everybody was. “Just a moment!" he shouted in a cheerful voice, glad to finally have some distraction from his thoughts. Turning around to face the front of the shop, Kadar suddenly froze with his oven-mitts half off, one of them sliding down from his hand and falling onto the floor, breaking his trance. He bent down to pick it up, mind racing as he thought, Please no, not him. Anybody but him. Life was not that kind, however, and when he stood, Kadar saw the same figure standing at the counter, looking directly at him through the window.
The man lifted a hand and waved at him, smiling quite casually in his direction. Kadar tossed the oven mitts aside onto the counter, turning and rushing around to the door between the kitchen and shop. Emerging behind the counter, mentally preparing himself and trying his best to calm his nerves, Kadar walked up to the register and placed both hands on the table. He's just another customer, you idiot. Smile and follow the script.
“Hello, welcome to Snowpeak. I'm Kadar, the owner. How may I help you today?" put on his best customer-service smile, trying to act like he'd never met the man before. The seconds seem to stretch on as those eyes locked with his own, a grin showing on the man's face as if the two of them shared some inside joke. Movement caught Kadar's eyes and forced his gaze down, just in time to see the man place a business card, his own business card, on the counter.
“I heard from a friend that you were having a special on cakes; any chance that I could get in on that action?" the man grinned wider, sliding the card across the counter towards Kadar. The white-furred, bespeckled drulttur blinked in confusion, not quite understanding what was being said or insinuated.
“I'm sorry sir," Kadar said after a moment, eyes shifting between the man's face and the card on the counter, “I'm afraid I don't have any cake specials. We do make them, but Tuesday's special is any two free donuts with the purchase of a dozen!" He tried to end on a cheerful note, sticking to his usual scripts so that he could avoid thinking about what else to say to this man.
“Oh, that's alright," the man said with a shrug. “Really I just came to apologize for running into you yesterday, making you spill your coffee and all that. And I noticed that your business card was missing something…"
“Oh no, it was my fault! I wasn't watching where I was going, no apology necessary, really." Kadar hurried to answer him, before looking down at the card on the counter in confusion. He reached down, cautiously avoiding the man's hand as he picked up the card and flipped it over. It looked exactly like all the others, and he glanced back up to the man with a confused expression. “Is there…something wrong with it? What did you say was missing?"
The man's grin widened at Kadar's confused face and his question. He leaned forward over the counter, not too close that Kadar was uncomfortable, but enough that he could lower his voice as he answered. “Your number…I figured I would need it if I'm going to take you out for coffee to make up for the one that got spilled yesterday."
Kadar looked intensely at the card as he tried to figure out what might be wrong with it, almost missing what the man was saying. He'd missed it on first inspection, but the front of the card did have something wrong. In the bottom corner, in purple ink, he noticed a small heart. _Kai… _As soon as the man's words registered, he looked back up for only a second, meeting his gaze and quickly glancing away. His ears pricked up, the tips of them flushing with warmth, his mouth suddenly going try. He swallowed, trying to figure out a response, all while the annoyingly attractive man in front of him smiled patiently, waiting for his reaction. “Y-you don't have to…I mean…I-I don't know your name or anything…" Kadar stammered and stumbled over his words, trying to look everywhere but at the figure in front of him. He couldn't even remember the last time anybody had asked him out before.
“Dausi." The man said, holding out an open hand. He seemed to be closely observing Kadar's reactions, seeing embarrassment and hesitation, but certainly no overtly negative reaction to his advances. “I've noticed you around Kai's shop quite a few times, running into you like that just made it hit me how cute you are…and how hot that coffee is…" Dausi continued with a grin.
Kadar couldn't stop the way his cheeks reddened beneath his white fur, or the way his tail swayed in pleasure at the compliment. He tried to think of some kind of response, but all he could manage was to reply dumbly, “It was an iced latte…"
Dausi waved the comment away, chuckling and shaking his head. “Come on, you gotta give me _some _credit there, it was a good line!" He smiled cheerfully at Kadar, a smile that softened up his gruff features and made Kadar's chest skip a few beats. “If you'd like to chat, have some coffee or dinner, I'd gladly give you a call or just pick you up here." He looked back down to the business card in Kadar's hand, again waiting for a response.
Kadar's gaze followed Dausi's to the business card, setting it down on the counter again. He could easily slide it back over without writing anything, and he was sure that Dausi would walk out the door. But he surprised himself with how quickly he'd decided against that, already finding his hand reaching for a pen almost on its own. Again, he remembered his conversation with Kai yesterday. He's right…I need to have a life again.
Dausi watched Kadar reaching for a pen, giving that cheerful smile again as he started writing down his number. “I can call you up later, unless you want me to show up whenever your next break is? I'd sure like to try some of your pastries, if we're going to be getting to know each other more."
Kadar finished writing the numbers on the card with a shaky hand, finding that it was more excitement than nervousness. He wasn't sure what made him answer in the way he did, but the words were out of his mouth before he could even think about it, his hand sliding the card back halfway across the counter, staring intently at it and speaking under his breath. “I…I'm on break now…I just finished scones…if you like those?"
Kadar's hand stopped, outstretched with the card under his fingers. He wasn't even sure if Dausi would have heard what he'd said, and he was silently cursing himself for it, until he saw the green and black furred hand come into view over his own. The longer fingers rested between his, touching the card that he hadn't removed his own hand from yet. Kadar looked up quickly, not daring to move his hand away as he met Dausi's gaze, finding something reassuring about the smile. “Oh really? I won't say no to that, if you have the time. Lead the way…"
Kadar nodded his head, even as he shouted in his mind What the hell are you doing? He didn't really know Dausi, but here he was, leading him back around the counter and towards the kitchen. He was certain that he knew who'd suggested that Dausi come here, and even who'd given him the business card. Kai always signed his name with a heart over the “I", and always used that same purple ink in his pens. It annoyed him, but Kai did have his best interests in mind, he knew, and he was certain that Kai wouldn't send just anybody over to his shop like this. He couldn't deny the excitement either as they passed through the door behind the counter and into the kitchen; he couldn't stop his tail from twitching and swaying. This was hardly a date, but it was the closest thing he'd gotten to one in a long time.
Dausi moved behind the shorter drulttur, taking notice of the swaying of his tail that betrayed his emotions. He looked up and around the kitchen as they passed through the doors, having never been in the back of a bakery like this before. His gaze wandering, he didn't notice that Kadar had suddenly stopped and turned around in front of him, until the two were colliding again.
Kadar's mind was jumping from one thought to another, buzzing around like an indecisive hummingbird. _What does he like? What flavor scone? Did I finish the blueberry? What should we talk about? Do I have anything to drink? Why is my mouth so dry? How long do we have? Did I grab the…oh no, the sign! _Kadar suddenly remembered that he'd meant to put up the little “Be back soon!" sign that he kept behind the counter for when he was alone in the shop and needed a break. He wasn't expecting any customers for a while, but you never know. Whirling around, Kadar moved to walk back through the kitchen door, right into Dausi's chest once more.
It was a very familiar sensation, except for the lack of coffee. Kadar stumbled back, his tail thrashing behind him in an attempt to keep his balance, but instead it only betrayed him, tripping his foot as he stepped back. Suddenly he was falling again, and the same arms as last time caught him, pulling him back up firmly. Kadar was panting, looking around as Dausi held him steady, and then up. They were standing close, chests almost touching, close enough that Kadar could feel the warmth radiating from Dausi's body. With those arms gripping him, it was far from an unpleasant sensation, and it brought a fresh surge of blood into his cheeks and ears. Dausi was looking down at him with an amused grin, and Kadar was frozen in place; watching as Dausi lifted a hand up again, just like he'd done yesterday to wipe his cheek. This time, however, he gingerly grasped the rim of Kadar's glasses between his fingers, adjusting them slightly, straightening them where they'd gone askew along the bridge of his snout.
Neither of them said a word, their eyes fixed on each other, Dausi still smiling softly down at Kadar. As his glasses were straightened, he lifted his hands up, resting them on Dausi's chest. He wasn't sure why he'd done it, but he didn't want to move away from this moment, this singular point in time that seemed to contain everything that he'd been missing, everything he'd been needing. Well…almost everything. No matter the reason why he did it, or why he took a slight step forward, it was clearly the right move. Dausi's hand released his arm, and Kadar was worried for a moment that he might step away, until he felt that hand reappear on his back. And then, still without a word from either of them, Dausi was leaning down and pressing his lips against Kadar's. It was a gentle touch, at least at first, but one that Kadar seemed to melt into. He stood on his toes, leaning forward and up against Dausi's chest, immediately closing his eyes and returning the kiss.
Everything was a blur for Kadar in the moments that followed, all thoughts, sensations, and actions overshadowed by the growing intensity of the kiss between him and Dausi. He held a tight grip on Dausi's shirt, leaning up and into him, almost sighing in relief at feeling the touch of another person like that. Their snouts were barely touching at the start, and Kadar was vaguely aware of the sense that he was moving, Dausi was walking forward, slowly backing Kadar up more into the kitchen while his tongue invaded and took control of Kadar's mouth. There was no more hesitancy in his own actions, not as Dausi put both hands firmly onto Kadar's back, pulling him closer and growling into their deepening kiss, actions that drew out an excited moan from deep within Kadar's throat.
Kadar's back collided with something; he could tell without turning around that it was the large metal table in the center of the kitchen. He could barely remember moving across the room, not with the taste and scent of Dausi flooding over his senses, his eyes still firmly closed. It wasn't until he was being lifted up that he opened his eyes, his lips finally parting from Dausi's leaving him gasping for breath. Dausi had moved his hands onto Kadar's hips, effortlessly picking him up and placing him to sit on the table behind him, taking a step forward, Kadar's legs spreading instinctively around Dausi's hips to allow him closer. Kadar looked up at Dausi, still slightly shorter than him even though he was sitting on the table, still trying to catch his breath and wrap his mind around what was happening. Dausi didn't give him much time to think though, lifting a hand up onto the back of Kadar's head and leaning down again. Kadar first thought he was going to kiss him again, already parting his lips in expectation, which only made his soft moan louder when he suddenly felt Dausi's lips on his neck.
There wasn't much Kadar could do or say at that point, his breath was stolen by involuntary gasps and moans as Dausi bathed his neck in an intense affection that left him shivering, his fur standing on end. He tilted his head to the side obediently, reaching his own hand up to the back of Dausi's head, fingers curling into his hair. His neck was explored and covered with kisses, licks, and nibbles, the slight prick of Dausi's teeth far from painful, a purely erotic sensation that sent desire surging through him. His limbs and body felt like jelly, completely malleable to Dausi's whims, shivering and squirming under his touch. Dausi was forceful with him, but never too much. Kadar could push him away at any moment, but he only gave that thought a brief consideration before tossing it aside. Fuuuuck, Kai's right…I need this.
A sharper nibble against his collarbone made Kadar gasp, not even realizing that Dausi's name was mixed in with the sound until it had already left his lips. His ears folded back in embarrassment as Dausi paused, looking up from his neck with a grin before leaning back down. This time, instead of resuming his nibbling and licking, he was a bit gentler. He kissed and nuzzled at Kadar's neck, lifting both of his hands to the receptive male's sides and feeling down the curves of his body. The tension had been building up between them, just waiting for someone to speak or take action to break it, to push them closer to what they both clearly wanted.
“Mmm, oranges? Your fur smells nice…" Dausi was the one to break that silence, speaking into Kadar's neck as he kissed at him more, slowly moving up from collarbone to the underside of his jaw and muzzle.
“I…it's f-from the scones…orange zest…" Kadar stammered, feeling silly for starting to describe his baking ingredients in the current situation that he'd found himself in. At Dausi's new exploration of his neck, Kadar found himself tilting his head up to give Dausi all the room he needed to work on his neck. He tightened his grip in Dausi's hair slightly, gasping again and shifting restlessly on the table, his tail practically thrashing behind him. Looking over Dausi's shoulder, he could see the front entrance of the shop. It was still empty, but there was a clear view of them all the way from the counter and the front door. “Th…the door…if anyone walks in…"
Dausi paused, looking back over his own shoulder at the entrance to the bakery. Grinning, he turned back to Kadar and placed a hand on his cheek, again pressing his lips forward against the white drulttur's, though only for a brief moment this time. Pulling away, Dausi held his lips a mere inch away from Kadar's, speaking in a soft whisper. “So where should I take you, cutie?"
Kadar was momentarily stunned by Dausi's words, not able to respond, his mouth hanging open. He knew what the intent was from the moment they'd made it across the kitchen with their lips pressed together, but it was something else entirely to have it spelled out so clearly for him. He'd just met this man yesterday, hardly knew anything about him, and yet he so desperately wanted to be pulled into the storage room and…
Dausi saw the flustered expression on Kadar's face as his thoughts took over, burning ears folding back as he looked around, just slightly to Dausi's left. Dausi followed his gaze, seeing the door and smiling. Without another word, he placed both his hands down onto Kadar's thighs and lifted, easily picking the slender male up against his chest as he turned and started walking. Kadar yelped in shock, but responded by looping his arms together around Dausi's neck, his legs already conveniently around Dausi's waist. He allowed himself to be carried off and through the side door, into a spacious and meticulously neat storage room. The walls were lined with shelves and boxes, various ingredients and other supplies, all sorted and labeled. The door swung open easily as Dausi backed into it with Kadar in his arms, and then closed behind them with a flick of Dausi's tail.
The far wall was empty of shelves, and Kadar soon found his back pressed against it while Dausi's lips returned to his own with a renewed intensity. Growls and pants echoed from Dausi's throat as they kissed, meanwhile Kadar was moaning and squeezing his arms and legs around him, holding tightly to the back of his shirt. He could feel Dausi's hips pressing forward and up into his own, practically grinding them together between their clothes, making Kadar shudder as he felt the sheath between his legs grow tighter with his rising excitement. His tail swayed until it felt Dausi's leg, curling around it instinctively as Dausi pressed his hips forward again, teasing Kadar with a promise of what was to come, a desire that neither of them could deny at this point.
While equally as intense as their first, this kiss didn't last nearly as long as the other had. Dausi soon pulled away, tilting his head to the side and kissing along the side of Kadar's snout and cheek until his muzzle was next to his ear. He growled, noting how Kadar's ears swiveled and flicked towards the sound, before whispering to him. “You seem pretty eager at this point. How about we get these clothes off so I can get a good look at you, before I fuck you up against the wall here?"
A shudder ran through Kadar's body at the growl by his ear, and then at the words spoken directly into them. He couldn't meet the intense green eyes, and looking down only gave him a good view of the way their bodies were pressed together, which did nothing to help his excitement. This was the last chance, he knew. After this, he wouldn't turn back. Taking a deep breath, wincing as it seemed to get stuck in his throat, Kadar nodded. Dausi said nothing in response, but let out a satisfied growl, sending another shiver through Kadar's spine, before crouching slightly to put the shivering male down on shaky legs.
Kadar was impressed by the speed in which Dausi's plain, button-up shirt was removed. He hardly noticed the movement, Dausi simply undid the top button with a flick of his thumb, and then tossed it over his head and off to the side. Glancing up, Kadar was faced with what he could only describe as a gorgeous sight, entranced by the tall, muscular physique of the man standing shirtless over him. Arms gripped his own, gently guiding them up with no resistance while Kadar was still entranced by the sight before him. He'd still been wearing a cooking apron, but that was quickly removed along with his shirt, leaving him shivering for a moment in the chilly air.
Dausi stepped forward soon after, the warmth from his body more than enough to keep the chill of the air at bay while his furred chest pressed against Kadar's. The two met each other's gaze again, and then Dausi was pulling him into another kiss, all while his hands made their way over the smaller male's body. Kadar did the same, instinctively reaching up to place his hands on Dausi's chest, feeling over the muscles as they shifted beneath the soft, black fur. His own white fur stood on end, feeling Dausi's fingers combing through it, exploring the darker grays speckled with white that made up the fur of his sides.
Kadar felt like the two of them could stay like that for hours, slowly feeling and exploring over each other, but just not right now. They had a clear goal in mind, and there wasn't much time. As Dausi's hands trailed down Kadar's sides and reached his hips, he moved one of them behind Kadar, and the other to the front. Kadar felt Dausi flick open the button that held the strap over his tail that helped keep his pants up, clearly a very well-practiced motion. Both of Dausi's hands slipped down onto the waistband of Kadar's pants, fingers sliding beneath his underwear as well, gently lowering his pants until they seemed to fall the rest of the way on their own. Kadar was left completely naked…in the same room as another man…still with their lips pressed together. He felt nervous, he hadn't been in a situation like this in so long, and never had he felt quite so…exposed.
Those thoughts were pushed aside as soon as Dausi started to touch him again, this time much more intimately with no clothes in his way. One paw had made its way underneath Kadar's tail, a palm easily gripping the round shape of his rear, squeezing gently while his other paw took a place between his legs. Kadar gasped, the sensation so unusual to him now, as fingers wrapped around his sheath. The dark-colored tip of his flesh was already starting to poke out from all the excitement it had taken to reach this point, and Dausi's stroking fingers didn't neglect him there either. He gave a gentle squeeze to the soft sheath, at the same time rubbing his thumb over the black tip, drawing a shaky moan from Kadar.
Dausi had a perfect view to admire the entirety of Kadar's body, looking over every detail of the slender, attractive drulttur that was currently squirming at his touch. He was rather adorable, Dausi thought, especially like this. Mostly covered in white fur, there were patches and sections of grays of various shades that ran along his arms and sides, down his thighs. From the knees down were a much darker gray color, almost like he was wearing stockings, and in many places his body was lightly speckled, white spots on the gray fur, and gray spots on the white. His shoulder-length silver hair was somewhat rustled from their activities, but even before it had a wavy, unkempt look. At a glance, especially from behind, Dausi could easily have mistaken him for a slender woman; but the proof to the contrary was now firmly grasped in his hand, growing to its full length as he stroked it, listening with delight to the soft moans that his actions elicited.
Dausi took his time teasing Kadar, enjoying the reactions that he got from the eager, but shy, male. There was still one thing in the way though; his pants were starting to grow quite uncomfortable as his own excitement rose within them. Dausi was tracing one hand over the fur of Kadar's hip, noting how the gray patch over white fur seemed to perfectly highlight the curve of his hip, drawing attention to the pleasing shape of his body. He shifted his focus, lifting that hand up and placing it onto one of Kadar's arms that had been resting and clutching at his chest. He grabbed it gently, starting to urge it further down, towards his own hips, and the belt of his slacks. Kadar's face flushed with the silent suggestion, but there was only a moment of hesitation before he acted.
Curling his fingers into the belt, Kadar smoothly unbuckled the clasp and slipped it open. He lowered his head down involuntarily, moaning and squirming as Dausi continued to tease and stroke over his cock, fingers gripping around his knot for a moment, the sensations almost making his knees buckle underneath him. The button and zipper of Dausi's pants came next, opening the front to reveal the obvious shape of Dausi's excitement pressing against the confines of his underwear. Kadar could already tell that Dausi was rather impressive in size, and his mind was flooded with thoughts of how it might feel to get his lips around it, a thought which made his own flesh twitch in Dausi's grasp. He slipped his fingers into the waistband of the boxers Dausi wore, sliding them and his pants down at the same time.
Kadar didn't even think of it as he exposed Dausi, he just did it. As he lowered his arms to slide the clothing down Dausi's legs, he bent down at the knees, lowering himself down as well. The band of the boxers briefly got caught on the firm cock, but a slight tug finally freed Dausi entirely from their confines, his length almost seeming to jump out towards Kadar in its full hardness. Kadar felt his cheeks flush with warmth and desire even as he kept lowering himself down. By that point, Dausi could see what Kadar was doing, and encouraged him with a hand on the top of his head, grinning down at the male whose gaze was locked intently on his cock. By the time Kadar had pulled Dausi's clothing down past his thighs, gravity letting them fall the rest of the way, he was also lowering himself down onto his own knees, finding his face perfectly level with Dausi's hips.
Kadar took in the sight in front of him, pausing for a moment while Dausi watched him with amusement, waiting to see what he'd do next. He didn't have to wait long, as Kadar slowly lifted a hand up to grasp and curl his fingers around the thick base of his cock, squeezing there before starting to stroke up. Dausi gave an appreciative rumble, scratching behind Kadar's ear while he felt the male explore him. His underbelly was a lighter gray/green fur color, along with the inside of his thighs and legs, and the furred balls and sheath resting between them. Emerging from that sheath was one of the larger cocks that Kadar had seen in person, even putting some of his favorite toys to shame, but certainly not beyond what he knew he could handle. The thick bulb at the base narrowed to an impressive shaft that had a row of pleasant-looking ridges along the underside, which continued between the two sides of his knot, all the way down to the sheath. Kadar stroked his hand up, his thumb teasing along the ridges and between them, feeling their firm texture. The length came up to a smooth, curved tip, a bead of pre forming from within as his hand reached up to that point.
“Go ahead…" Dausi encouraged, causing Kadar to look up at him for a moment. There was hesitation in his eyes, Dausi noted, but no uncertainty. Dausi rubbed his hand behind Kadar's ear, watching as Kadar tilted his head into the touch, ears folded back and a slight smile on his snout. Kadar was shy, but he was still exactly where he wanted to be. Without the need for any further encouragement, Kadar leaned forward, parting his lips as he moved, until they were pressed softly against the tip of Dausi's cock. His tongue flicked out, collecting the pre that had started to run down from the tip, his senses flooded with the slightly salty taste. Kadar was most certainly not inexperienced at giving oral, it had always been one of his favorite things, even if it had been a long time for him. He took things slow, stroking his hand down the length of flesh, following close behind with gentle licks and kisses.
For Dausi, the sensations were incredible. Even if he wasn't inside of Kadar's mouth yet, the adorable drulttur knew exactly what he was doing, and how to tease and stimulate him. Gentle fingers brushed over him on one side while the kisses bathed the other. He leaned his head back, letting out a clear moan as Kadar's tongue teased and flicked between his ridges, the sounds of his pleasure letting Kadar know just how good he was doing. Kadar's tongue and nose were completely taken over with the taste of Dausi, and the scent of his soft fur, immaculately cleaned and shampooed. He'd almost forgotten how much he loved this, but now every fresh lick along Dausi's cock and every moan of pleasure from above was a reminder of exactly why he did. He made his way all the way down to Dausi's knot, squeezing one side with a hand and kissing the other side, feeling Dausi's hand curl with pleasure in his hair, before making his way back up.
Kadar traveled up the length of Dausi's flesh with equal slowness, the grunting and moaning from above growing louder as the teasing made Dausi more restless by the moment. He paid close attention to the space between Dausi's ridges, noting how much he twitched against his lips and tongue whenever he did. By the time he reached the tip again, there was a large drop of pre running down from it, threatening to drip onto the floor while even more was coming from within. Kadar ran his tongue along the underside and entirety of the tip, collecting every bit of pre onto his tongue once again and holding it in his mouth to bask in the taste, humming softly to himself.
He was broken from that brief trance by Dausi's hand moving, reaching down from the top of his head and to his cheek. Kadar looked up, his cheeks and ears flushing a bright red as he saw Dausi's face smiling down at him, those deep-green eyes locking with his. He could feel Dausi's cock twitching against the side of his cheek and snout as their eyes met, frozen for a moment while Dausi gently gripped the temple of his glasses and lifted them up and off his face.
“Good boy…" Dausi said, smiling down at Kadar while he removed his glasses, carefully folding them and setting them on the shelf beside him. The glasses were adorable on Kadar, he had to admit, but he certainly didn't want to see them falling off or getting broken with the activities that they were no doubt working towards. “Now…" he started to speak, about to suggest that Kadar stand so that Dausi could move things forward, but Kadar seemed to have other plans. Rather than waiting, if he even heard Dausi speak at all, Kadar just smiled and looked back down to what was in front of him, opening his mouth slowly.
Dausi watched the swaying of Kadar's tail, seeing how relaxed he appeared, finding the smile on Kadar's face quite endearing. He stopped, deciding to let Kadar continue for a while, at least until he chose to stop. He certainly wasn't going to complain when Kadar was so clearly enjoying himself in the current scenario.
Kadar's vision blurred slightly as his glasses were removed while he looked up at Dausi, or at least his vision of Dausi's distant face, but he could see what was directly in front of him. The encouraging words made him feel a combination of pride that he hadn't lost his touch, and excitement at continuing what he'd been doing. He noticed how Dausi carefully folded and set his glasses aside, that small bit of concern doing a lot to comfort him in his decision to let things with a relative stranger get so far. He could see why Kai had approved of him enough to send him. Turning his gaze back down, Kadar parted his lips and leaned forward, using his hand to steady Dausi's cock in front of him. Already there was more pre starting to gather on the tip, and Kadar took special care to gather that up on his tongue before slowly sliding that tip into his waiting mouth. He could feel the warm flesh twitching in a satisfying way against his tongue while he descended, taking half of that length into his muzzle all at once.
“Oh fuck…Kadar…" Dausi moaned out Kadar's name, making the drulttur's ears prick up, the sound encouraging him. He may have been out of practice, but he was undoubtedly skilled. Dausi didn't feel even the slightest poking of teeth against him, not even as he felt the tip of Kadar's nose touch against his knot. Kadar had already managed to take his entirety into that slender muzzle, and was now closing his eyes and moaning as he started to gently suck around him. A shudder ran through Dausi, his knees shaking a bit at the unexpected eagerness and skill of Kadar's mouth around him. Adjusting his stance, Dausi placed a hand back onto the side of Kadar's head, scratching behind his ear encouragingly and whispering under his breath between moans. “That's it…"
While Dausi relaxed above him and started to bask in the pleasure, Kadar was lost in a world all of his own. He was sure that his knees would be sore after this, the floor of this room made of an unforgiving tile, but that was merely a future concern. For now, it was just the blissful sensations of a cock sliding between his lips and into the back of his muzzle, and the sounds of pleasure coming from above him that told him just how Dausi was feeling about his actions. Kadar slowly rocked his head, sliding up and down on Dausi's cock, sucking gently as he moved back, and harder as he reached the tip, each time feeling the satisfying warmth of pre leaking onto his tongue, taking over until he couldn't taste anything else. As he did this, his tongue was also constantly at work. It curled up and around the sides of the flesh within his mouth, licking and teasing over each ridge that it passed.
The attention to his ridges in particular brought out more intense reactions from Dausi. His hand curled, fingers gripping Kadar's hair as he had to fight back the urge to thrust into that lovely, warm mouth that surrounded him. Each ascent and descent of Kadar's head into his lap was another surge of pleasure though his body. His length was twitching and throbbing with every new skill that Kadar showed off, and he could only smile, watch the show, and bask in the pleasure as Kadar kept at it with clear pleasure on his part. His eyes were closed, and as Dausi felt the vibrating sensations around his flesh, he realized that Kadar was humming and moaning from his own sense of pleasure. Kadar's head was in the way as it rocked back and forth, but Dausi knew that if he could see down between the male's legs, he would see Kadar's own cock twitching and leaking with excitement just as much as his was.
Dausi was entirely correct in that assumption; Kadar's arousal was plainly visible as he started to moan and hum around the dick that he slid deeper into his mouth. He didn't stop for breaths in between, breathing steadily through his nose at a measured pace each time he pulled his head back. He knew that he could keep going like this for a long time, and that was certainly his intent. His hands twitched restlessly, and he moved them up to give them something to do. With one he gripped onto Dausi's thigh, feeling the shudders running through the leg as he pleasured Dausi, and with the other he reached between those legs, feeling blindly for a moment before finding a grip around the knot his nose kept pressing against. Pulling his head back, Kadar held just the tip of Dausi's cock between his lips, running his tongue along and sucking down at the same time as he squeezed at Dausi's knot. His ears twitched, rewarded with another loud moan and swear from the male above him, the sound turning into a deep growl of pleasure that made Kadar shiver with excitement. Warm pre shot out over his tongue, almost to the back of his throat, and Kadar swallowed it all down immediately. He smiled to himself, moaning in response around Dausi, and let his head descend once again.
The moments after that all seemed to blend together for both of them, each lost in their own thoughts and actions. Kadar had set a steady pace with the bobbing of his head, and with his eyes closed he could easily forget about everything else around him. He wasn't in the bakery anymore, he wasn't thinking about past relationships or worrying about whether putting himself in this position with Dausi so quickly was a mistake. All that existed was the male standing in front of him, the moans of appreciation that reached his ears, and the pure enjoyment of being able to give Dausi this kind of pleasure. It was pleasurable for him as well, in his own way. The taste and feel of that thick length over his tongue, and the happiness that he felt as he made Dausi throb eagerly into his mouth, was simply intoxicating for him.
Meanwhile, Dausi was simply just relaxing and enjoying this unexpected, but certainly not unwelcome turn of events. When he'd gone into this room with Kadar he'd been expecting to tease him for a while, make him squirm a bit, and then either pin or lift the cute drulttur against the wall with his hips smacking into Kadar's rear. But instead of getting under Kadar's tail, he was getting what was probably the hottest show of pure desire that he'd seen in a long time. Kadar had an air of innocence about him, but that clearly was just from his shyness. The small male knew exactly what he was doing, and what buttons to press. His ears perked up at every sound Dausi made, and he learned exactly how to get more of those sounds from Dausi. Even if it wasn't his original plan, Dausi decided that he didn't want to stop Kadar, it was more fun to just let him enjoy himself, relaxing as best he could and taking in the pleasure. Dausi had hardly ever seen someone so eager about giving oral like this, but Kadar's enthusiasm was intoxicating, rubbing off on Dausi as time went on and the pleasure rose up within him.
While Kadar learned how to read every reaction from Dausi, using that knowledge to bring him as much pleasure as he could, Dausi also was starting to learn some of what Kadar enjoyed at the same time. Kadar's face was relaxed, eyes closed, an expression of pure bliss as he took Dausi to the knot inside of his muzzle. Occasionally though, Dausi would notice a folding of the ears, a reddening of the tips, or a change in expression as something excited Kadar just a little bit more. Most of Dausi's moans were involuntary, drawn out by Kadar's actions, but sometimes he would do it just to encourage him, and he could see the effect that had on Kadar. He'd thrust his hips a little bit, noticing that while it would sometimes make Kadar's face scrunch in an effort not to gag at the increased force, he still moaned in response. Dausi smirked at that, wondering briefly just how rough Kadar liked things, or how much he could handle. Some of Dausi's moans would fade off into a growl, a rumbling in his throat, especially when he felt Kadar's hands squeeze at his knot. When he made those sounds in particular, a shudder seemed to pass through Kadar's entire body. Dausi noticed all of those things, filing them away for later. If Kadar was going to spend this much time just giving Dausi as much pleasure as possible, he'd have to use everything he could to return the favor later. Kadar had earned it.
Dausi could feel the tension building up inside of him, his moans becoming more frequent as Kadar didn't let up on the eager work of his mouth and tongue for even a moment. If Kadar could tell how close he was, he didn't give any signs of it, still rocking his head at a steady pace, not neglecting a single sensitive spot along Dausi's length for long, hand gripping at his knot and squeezing with the same rhythm that his head moved to. Dausi thought he would be able to hold out longer, but his hips jerked involuntarily and he gasped out as Kadar pushed his head all the way down and sucked around the entirety of his cock at once. On instinct Dausi shifted his hand from Kadar's head, gripping onto one of his horns firmly. He had to stop himself from pulling Kadar in, though Kadar's pace didn't even falter when he felt the hand on his horn, Dausi's eyes squeezing shut tightly. “That's it, Kadar…almost there." Dausi said under his breath, a growl rising up in his chest gradually as he felt himself reaching the limits of his endurance.
Again, Kadar made no sign that he'd heard or felt anything different, but he picked up on every little sign. He felt the jerk of Dausi's hips and the tight grip on his horn, the reactions making him want to smile, feeling pleasure in the fact that he'd gotten Dausi to this point. While Dausi didn't notice with his own eyes closed, Kadar's eyes did flick open briefly at Dausi's words, glancing up for just a second before closing again. He was very well acquainted with Dausi's normal reactions by this point, and he could feel every change that signaled just how close Dausi was to finishing. The cock inside of his mouth was starting to stiffen even more, twitching harder against his tongue and releasing stronger bursts of pre into his mouth and throat, forcing him to swallow it down more often. With a hand on Dausi's thigh he could feel the tensing and shuddering of the muscles there, and he could even feel the blood pulsing underneath his other hand that gripped Dausi's knot, the bulb of flesh growing hotter in his grasp as it started to widen. He'd found a steady rhythm to work his mouth over Dausi's cock, and now all he had to do was maintain that same rhythm just a little bit more, and he'd get his reward.
When it finally happened, Dausi couldn't hold back the full-throated moan that echoed out from the storage room and into the empty bakery. Kadar's motions sent him into an intense climax, his entire body tensing up and his hips rocking forward. Kadar felt the very first throbs within his mouth, heard Dausi's moan, and felt the knot within his hand growing to full size. He squeezed his hand encouragingly and pushed his head forward, taking all of Dausi into his mouth until his knot was pressed against his nose. He hummed and moaned around the throbbing cock, and was finally rewarded with a flood of warmth filling his mouth as Dausi came. Thick, heavy ropes of seed burst out from the tip and into the back of Kadar's mouth, much of it immediately flowing down his throat as he swallowed eagerly, eyes squeezing and brow scrunched in concentration as he made sure not to waste a single, delicious drop.
Kadar sucked around Dausi and ran his tongue over the length of him, gathering much of that white cream onto his tongue to get a good taste of him, anticipating every burst from the throbbing of Dausi's knot. This was the part that Kadar loved most, having his muzzle flooded with the rewards of his efforts, the taste overwhelming his senses, the warmth coating every inch of the inside of his muzzle. While Dausi's hand was still gripping Kadar's horn, it wasn't pulling him in at all, so he had no difficulty in pulling his head back until only the tip of Dausi's cock remained within his mouth. Still feeling it throb, Kadar sucked around it and licked at it with his tongue, holding the next few sprays of cum within his mouth to simply enjoy the feeling until it threatened to leak out between his lips, only then swallowing just in time for the next burst from Dausi's tip.
Standing over Kadar, Dausi was simply lost in the pleasure of his climax, and it was an intense one. Kadar's eagerness had gotten him far more excited than he'd expected, and the way Kadar sucked down and teased him through his climax only urged more out of him. Dausi swore and gasped under his breath, panting and rocking his hips as he felt Kadar pulling back after a few moments. Opening his eyes back up, Dausi looked down at Kadar, seeing a look of concentration and pleasure on his face, excited by the sight of Kadar swallowing down every bit of his cum with clear desire and enjoyment. Taking deep breaths, Dausi felt the throbbing of his cock start to slow down, his climax beginning to fade. Kadar must have felt this too, as he pushed his head back down to once again take the entirety of Dausi within his mouth. Smiling, Dausi let go of Kadar's horn, moving his hand to the male's cheek and gently rubbing his thumb through his fur, finally able to speak as he caught his breath. “Mmm, good boy."
As he looked down over Kadar, Dausi felt a vibrating sensation around his length, his hips jerking as it brought more stimulation to him. Kadar was blushing brightly under his fur at the words, which Dausi could see clearly in the tips of his ears, tilting his head into the touch of Dausi's hand. That sensation, Dausi realized with some surprise, was Kadar purring softly around him. Slowly Kadar opened his eyes, looking up at Dausi as he purred and rumbled blissfully, sucking softly and swallowing down the very last drops of Dausi's cum. Dausi met Kadar's gaze with a soft smile, seeing the satisfaction and desire clearly painted in Kadar's expression, and not a hint of regret. Seeing Kadar like that, this adorable drulttur looking up at him, mouth around his cock, euphoric expression on his face, and tail swaying happily behind him at a constant pace; Dausi knew that he wouldn't forget this moment anytime soon.
Dausi was almost certain that Kadar would have stayed there for a lot longer if he didn't take any initiative, but one of them had to move eventually. He started to pull his hips back, chuckling as he noticed Kadar start to follow along with his head for a moment before also starting to move back. Kadar sucked firmly around Dausi as he pulled away, the overstimulation making Dausi shudder and groan under his breath. Finally, Dausi pulled back enough that his tip fell out from between Kadar's lips, half-hard length hanging down slightly as it was exposed to the air, much colder than the comfortable warmth offered by Kadar's muzzle. Kadar looked down, seeing just a bit more cum around the tip and some of the ridges, and couldn't resist the temptation. With Dausi watching, Kadar leaned his head down and stretched out a tongue, carefully gathering up all that remained of Dausi's climax and drawing it into his mouth, leaving Dausi's cock slick with his saliva, but otherwise almost perfectly clean.
Kadar hummed to himself, licking at his lips briefly as he sat back. There was a bit of dampness on the fur of his muzzle, one drip of cum that had leaked out in the peak of Dausi's climax. He wiped it with a thumb, licking that clean as well, before realizing that Dausi was still standing in front of him. Kadar hadn't really considered what would come next, being so lost in the moment and his desires. He glanced up briefly, meeting Dausi's gaze and quickly looking away from those green eyes. Reaching out an arm to steady himself on the shelf next to him, Kadar slowly got back to his feet, groaning as his knees protested silently at their treatment, clearly unhappy with how long he'd spent kneeling on the hard tile floor. As he stood, Kadar crossed his arms in front of him, looking off to the side. He realized that his cock was still hard and eager for attention in full view of Dausi, having left a clear puddle on the tile to mark where he'd been kneeling, which he made a mental note to clean as soon as Dausi left.
Seeing Kadar once again fall into his shy demeanor, retreating back into his shell, Dausi shook his head and stepped forward. Kadar had taken some initiative earlier in his excitement to get his mouth around Dausi, but now it was clear that Dausi would have to be the one to lead things. Approaching Kadar, he lifted a hand to place a finger underneath the male's lowered chin, tilting it up while leaning forward, quickly bringing their lips together in another kiss. He backed Kadar against the wall, pushing his tongue out to dance within Kadar's muzzle, growling deeply in the way that he now knew would excite the submissive drulttur. The effect was immediate as Kadar responded with a moan and started to purr again, and Dausi soon reached his other hand down to grip around Kadar's needy length. Even just a light touch made it twitch firmly in his grasp, and Dausi knew that Kadar had gotten himself so worked up in pleasuring him that he wouldn't last very long once he started.
In that moment, as Kadar was leaning into the kiss with Dausi, and Dausi was debating on how he'd pay Kadar back for one of the best blowjobs he'd ever received, there came a loud DING from the direction of the door. Both of them jumped, their lips separating as Kadar let out a squeak of surprise.
“Oh gods, the shop!" Kadar gasped out in a panicked voice, looking around frantically until he saw where his clothes were, heaped on the floor near their feet. Dausi stepped back, sighing and moving towards where his own clothes lay, resolving to continue this with Kadar later. Kadar pulled his clothes on in a rush, appearing very disheveled as he pulled the shirt on over his head and tugged his pants back up. His naturally wavy hair wasn't too out of place, and after a moment of consideration, Kadar bent down to pick up his apron and pull that on over his clothes as well, the addition helping to mask the way his clothes were rustled, shirt slightly twisted around his midsection, one end sticking onto the waistband of his pants. Kadar rushed to the door of the storage room, freezing as he looked back over his shoulder and saw Dausi standing there, casually pulling on his own shirt and fixing the buttons. He struggled to find something to say, unsure what was appropriate in this situation, before hurriedly muttering “Th-thanks…" and rushing out of the room.
As Kadar made it to the counter, he saw with relief that it was only one customer, a regular whom he knew wouldn't get impatient. Still, he apologized for the wait, already anticipating what the man's order would be. As it turned out, however, this was just the beginning. Another customer soon entered, followed swiftly by two more. Looking at the clock, Kadar realized that this was the start of the usual lunch rush. He'd be busy for quite a while…and Dausi was still waiting back in the…
At that moment, Kadar was met with the very confusing sight of Dausi coming into the bakery through the front door, still fixing his hair, but his clothes in slightly better shape than Kadar's at least. He caught Kadar's confused glance as he was handing the next customer their order, making a circling motion with one finger which Kadar realized meant that Dausi had snuck out the back of the kitchen and around the building so as to not look suspicious coming out behind him. Kadar mouthed a “Thank you" in that brief moment before returning to his work, noting out of the corner of his eye that Dausi had gotten into the line of customers himself.
The next few minutes passed by as they usually did, though Kadar felt rather flustered throughout the entire thing, rushing around and almost dropping the tongs he used to pick up donuts and scones a few times in the process, definitely more than his usual clumsy self. At first the persistent erection in his pants, thankfully hidden by the apron, was rather uncomfortable as he walked around, but it gradually disappeared as he focused on his work. He couldn't stop himself from occasionally glancing at Dausi in the line, getting a friendly smile every time their eyes would meet, causing his face to grow warm as he quickly looked away.
Eventually, the moment that he was dreading arrived. Dausi approached the counter, leaning forward and looking around thoughtfully at the display cases built into the counter, humming to himself. “Hmm, that orange smelled good earlier. Scones, you said? Have any of those ready?"
Kadar felt a surge of relief as Dausi had the grace to act normal, though even just talking to him like this was enough to make Kadar's mind go blank for a moment. He struggled to comprehend what exactly Dausi had said before the words finally settled into place in his mind. “Oh! Yes, I made some cranberry-orange scones, they should still be rather warm too! Would you like one?" As he spoke, Kadar glanced down at a movement at the edge of his vision, seeing Dausi casually sliding the business card with his cell number written on it off the counter, slipping it into his pocket.
“Sure, I'll take two of them, to go?" Dausi responded, not giving any indication that anything was out of the ordinary.
“Of course, give me one moment." Kadar said quickly, and hurried away back into the kitchen. The tray of scones was still on the cooling rack, the same tray that he'd taken from the oven just as Dausi had arrived. _How long ago was that? _he wondered, though it couldn't have been that long ago with how he could still feel the heat coming off the tray when his hands got close. He picked up a single oven mitt, putting it on and using it to carry the tray out of the kitchen, emerging back behind the counter and setting the tray down nearby. He grabbed one of the boxes decorated with the bakery's snowy mountain logo, placing two scones within it and sliding it over to Dausi across the counter. The rest of their interaction was rather normal, Dausi paid for his scones and even placed a few extra bills into the tip jar that was labeled “If you enjoyed your service, please consider leaving a tip!" Though, with the smirk on Dausi's face as he did, Kadar could only feel a little flustered as he realized what the real reason for the tip was, the teasing on Dausi's part not needing even a single word to pass between them.
With box in hand, Dausi glanced over his shoulder briefly before turning back to Kadar, leaning up against the counter and speaking quietly enough that the few people behind him likely couldn't hear. “I had a good time, Kadar. I'll give you a call soon." he said, looking like he was about to turn away again before smirking, tapping the side of his temple and adding “Oh, and you forgot your glasses." And with that Dausi was gone, turning and strolling out of the store as if it had all been a completely normal purchase of a few pastries.
Kadar stood frozen, watching Dausi walk away, slowly reaching a hand up to touch the side of his own face, finally noticing the lack of glasses there. In the rush to get his clothes back on, Kadar had completely forgotten to grab them as well, and his vision wasn't quite so bad that he'd immediately notice, he could see at least as far as the door of the shop before things started to blur. He'd just have to deal with it for now though, as the next customer was stepping forward already even before Dausi had made it to the door.
After Dausi's departure, things started to get back to normal, the rest of the day being rather unremarkable. He had some of the usual customers around lunchtime, and the rush soon died down enough for him to go back to the storage room and retrieve his glasses, taking a moment to make sure the floor was clean as well, though his mind was filled with flashes of what had happened earlier the entire time he was in that room. Between customers Kadar cleaned, organized, and started to prepare some ingredients for the next day. It was exhausting work, but thankfully one of his part-time helpers arrived in the afternoon to help with some of it, also providing some welcome conversation to distract him. Even with help though, Kadar had been forced to reduce the bakery's open hours recently so that he'd have enough time to do everything. He'd opened this store together with Casey, they'd done all of it together, and then it was just him and whoever he could find to help for a few hours each week.
As the evening came, Kadar was closing up the front of the shop, ready to start cleaning up and preparing for the next day before going home for dinner. As he locked the door and walked across to the kitchen his pocket started to buzz. Pulling out his phone, the number on screen wasn't one that Kadar recognized, but still he slid his thumb across to answer, putting it up to his ear.
“Hello?" he asked, keeping the phone by his ear while he busied himself with his other hand, pulling out some of the ingredients for the dough that he'd prepare ahead of time for the next day.
“Hey Kadar, I told you I'd call soon." the voice on the other end said, the mixing bowl in Kadar's hand falling to the counter as he jumped, thankfully not having anything in it yet. “It's Dausi, by the way."
“Y-yeah…I see that." Kadar said lamely, shifting his weight from paw to paw. _Gods…what do you even say to a guy who's dick you just sucked at work? _Thankfully, Kadar didn't have to come up with an answer to that question, as Dausi immediately started speaking again instead.
“So anyways," he said in a conversational tone, as if there was nothing even remotely unusual about this. “Your card said you'd be closing up now, so I figured I'd call and see what your dinner plans were. My treat, of course."
Kadar froze up, feeling almost like his brain was filled with static, not able to process any words enough for them to make their way to his lips. He must have stood there in silence for longer than he'd realized, because he heard a faint voice coming from the phone again. “-lo…? You there?"
“Yeah! Yeah, I'm here." Kadar shook his head, leaning back against the countertop, the same one he'd sat on earlier when Dausi was kissing him. _No, stop it. Don't think about that right now! _“Dinner, you said?" he continued questioningly, even though he'd heard Dausi perfectly the first time, he just needed more time to think of a reply.
“Yup, that thing where two people meet up and eat food, get to know each other." Dausi replied, and Kadar could almost see that lopsided smirk of his within his mind, like they were sharing a joke.
“I um…I can't go out tonight. I've gotta finish up some stuff here, and I have the slow cooker running at home." Kadar at last remembered what his dinner plans had been, glad for the excuse. However, as soon as the words had left his lips, he felt…disappointment?
“Aww, alright. Well, how about another…" Dausi's voice sounded disappointed as well, Kadar thought, and before he could even think twice his next words were already out.
“Do you like pulled pork?" he asked quickly, and then silently cursed himself for his sudden bravery. He was committed now, whatever Dausi said in response, and he couldn't decide which answer he'd prefer at the moment.
“Oh, I absolutely love it!" the voice on the phone said, obviously pleased by this turn of events.
_Well, _Kadar thought, _I'm stuck now. _“I've gotta finish things here, I was gonna eat around eight…if you wanted to…" Now that he was getting down to it, actually making the offer was much harder than he'd thought, his voice trailing off as he wasn't sure how to continue.
“Eight? Yeah, I can do that. If it's even half as good as the scones, I'm sure it'll be delicious." Dausi's reply made Kadar smile, the same, warm feeling he always felt when someone complimented his cooking. It was why he'd started the bakery in the first place, he just loved seeing his food making people happy.
With plans now set, Kadar told Dausi where his apartment was, holding the phone between his cheek and shoulder while he busied his hands with his work, using it to distract him from worrying about what was to come. Their conversation didn't last very long once Dausi knew when and where to show up, but still there was something in the back of Kadar's head that was bugging him. It certainly felt like a date they were planning, but…
“Dausi?" Kadar asked, stopping what he was doing and taking a deep breath. The voice on the other end was silent, waiting for him to continue. “This…this isn't just a one-night stand, is it? I mean, you said you wanted to get to know each other, like a date?"
The first thing Kadar heard after he stopped speaking was a short laugh, followed by the amused tone of Dausi's reply. “Yes Kadar, like a date. Let's just focus on dinner first. After that, it can be whatever you want it to be."
“Oh…" Kadar said, not quite sure what to interpret from Dausi's response, but figuring he was already committed. “Alright, I'll see you then?"
“Sure thing, see you soon, Kadar." Dausi responded, as cheerful and casual as ever. Kadar sighed as the call disconnected, putting the phone down and hanging his head. The conflicting thoughts and emotions within him were almost impossible to sort out, and he didn't know what to expect. After what had happened and how Dausi had responded, he was clearly still interested in sleeping with him. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't give him a chance, right? It was fun…and he seems nice.
In the end, Kadar decided on a plan. He'd prepare dinner, eat with Dausi and try to get to know him a little. And depending on how things went, and if he seemed genuinely interested more than just wanting to have sex, then maybe he didn't have to go to bed alone, for once.
