THE THIRD ROSE - PART 1
The Third Rose is a prequel short story series which takes place in the far past through history before the events of the Kitsune G Project, Judith's War and much more as it acts as it's own story with it dives into the reasoning why Earthians had to leave Earth, who became the leader of another world, and how Earth ended up after the disasters. Following a third person perspective between a late teen human named Judah and a military officer named Jasari as they battle on their so called hunt.
Do they continue to oppose each other or will they love one and another.
Taking place in 2799 AD about 1800 years before the main story of the Kitsune G Project
_ ''So this is it, if the world does go on, it'll not go for those who are to be left behind. We've been able to calculate the disasters and we will know when they'll strike. It'll start from the Atlantic and Indian ocean with mega earthquakes, it'll be catastrophic. There will be tidal waves from all directions wiping out cities, towns, and historical monuments in an instant once the ice has finally melted in Antarctica. It'll be 100 meters high travelling at 17 hundred miles an hour, faster at the speed of sound. _
_ Now we have to make decisions together, what will we do… _
_ Ever since global warming has been an uprising, we've been planning for the best but we've also been planning for the worst for our continuation of humanity. To guarantee that Earthains will move on and live to see the world change from above slowly, in the future when the Earth finally warms up again we can rebuild upon our home once again but we will not know when it'll end. _
_ So in stars above, near the Moon's Lagrange areas we've been preparing with the SentrySpaceTreaty to build giant megastructures called Islands, space colonies with green and cities that rotate without gravity holding them down. They are immense and wide, we have about twenty five of them which can host up to 10 million each while the moon colony can host up to 5 million. These people can live in the stars, watch the Earth as it changes through history with the help of the SST, and they are our own Noah's arks. _
_ Nature environments like forests, beaches with vast oceans, mountains, and much more with life of animals and plants too. They will be the new homes towards us Earthians in the future. _
_ On December 21st 2121 of Anno Domini. _
_ *A computer will randomly select 100 million Earthians around the globe from 2121 until January 1st 2123, to join the companies of scientists, doctors, engineers, teachers, soldiers, artists who've already been chosen.'' * _
2799 Anno Domini, 800 years passed, and its about 1,400_ _** years before the events of the Kitsune G Project...**
_A world that fell after all of Earthians and Macros built colonies to live in space, an lottery took place which left twenty billion left to fend for themselves for the global warmings and natural disasters that will take place in the future for Earth. _
It was a quiet morning, the snow was still pouring down into the city's skyline, it was slightly colder than last week and the storm was much harsher from before.
A late teen figure walked through the downtowns of the mega city where trees and green were still growing over the past three hundred years, buildings filled with opened cans and dust covering up everything like the windows and all its furniture.
The figure held a bullpup rifle in their hand with the butt of the rifle against the shoulder in a soldier style, the late teen jogged through the alleyways of the rusty small districts, what they used to call the suburbs, and as it brings the figure to what is supposed to be a high school.
Mother Nature took everything from us, what we built and where we once lived before the wars of the past.
The courtyards were filled with dried up burnt trucks, many human remains and corpses with weeks of old rotten flesh, dry blood all around on the soil.
The late teen slowly entered the school in the search for some supplies, from the top to the bottom he couldn't find a thing until he found what used to be a shelter. There were plenty of useful things he'd be able to gather up from more cans of food, drinking packets, and slowly when he made his way through the shelter just by its ripped open escape hatch.
There was a box, a black box with no locks but it seemed to be heavily covered up in dust and pebbles. The figure slowly opened the box to appear to hold some sort of new technology, not even one he'd thought could exist. The three dimensional maneuver gear that allowed charges in the past to soar in the air against trees and buildings with solar panels to help to power it up, very long rods of thin cables like steel that were so durable that allowed its user to go extreme speeds. It was more of a getaway escape used gear but some used it to fight off numerous of the macros during the breakout. It worked but it wasn't entirely successful. He placed the gear onto his waist belt and upper legs attaching them to his body and then hid them under his large coat before heading out of the school.
The late teen stopped in his place as he began to rumble of a trembling vibration underneath the ground as he wore his boots, listening to the stomping noises getting closer, and quickly hid behind some rubble.
Watching as the mysterious macro knight walking past the school with a rifle in hand coming from storm afar.
The knight was from the skies above, probably where most humanity were too when residing in those big tubes called colonies, and these giants were working beside them but how one ended up here was also a mystery.
_The macro was on the hunt, the spotted hyena was chasing a few ferals through the abandoned streets of Tokyo. For her it was more a game of cat and mouse than an actual hunt, she was the second generation of the Tzavuah what appeared to look like Hyenas were actually those who walked on two legs, standing tall of 20 meters and which were born with hair instead of those animals who walked only on four. _
She was born in the colonies after humanity moved to the stars, then she moved along towards Victoria when it was established, and by a few years she became part of the organisation known as the Sentry Space Treaty. Stranded for a very long time on Earth, maybe for a few decades as now she's in her late thirties, and all she could really eat on this god forsaken planet were the earthians who lost their ways, who didn't get accepted through the lottery and were weighed down by their home's gravity.
Over the course of losing connection with the colonies in the star system, those left behind were to rot and watch the world change around them with global warming. The Earth went from frozen to frozen like state over the years, leaving it always to snow.
There would be three hundred days of light and sixty five days of darkness…
With those who were left, the educated moved to the underground places like parking lots, bomb shelters, and even tunnels built inside the mountains to keep warm from the endless winters. Now with the snow storms slowly coming to an end, the Earth is finally showing its green in the heart of what was once called Japan.
There has been a small amount of macros in the country, some who stayed hidden for the decades that went by, and some just came from the stars after crash landing nearby.
Jasari was the name of the twenty meter tall macro knight, her hair was both long and curly, and both her right ear and her ankles had golden earrings or brackets. She was the one on the hunt, holding the rifle in hand as the knight scavenged both the little ones as snacks or the biggest ones for a good meal. A fierce reptile raced through the city streets of Yokohama, spear in hand as it rushed towards her in a feral combative take near the school that the human was in.
Witnessing the two clash one with their rifle's blade and another with the spearhead at the end of the long metal staff. Shockwaves as they swung their weapons against each other before Jasari locked the rifle loaded, kicking the reptile down as it fell onto its back, and a loud ringing of bullets firing from the gun with the giant shells dropping down in slow motion.
Jasari reached for her knife after putting the lizard down to collect her trophy afterwards, a reptile's fangs, but with a moment where she stood as she listened to the area around her.
She heard something behind her, something quiet yet familiar - it was a rifle being loaded..
The cloaked figure walked out onto the roof of the school, pointing out the rifle towards what could be a knight who was standing a few couple meters away from where the late teen stood. Quickly pulling the trigger on his rifle, as he was aiming for the macro's small gap behind the knees only to shoot out a small pain for the macro soldier.
The knight felt the slight pain comparable to a mosquito bite.
The human turned to his right, making the run towards the downtown streets of where the two macros would have come from, slapping the rifle over with the sling behind his back, and pulling out what believes to be a couple of stun grenades, he immediately unlocks out the key, and throwing it up high like an tennis ball in front of the macro's face.
_Running away from where he last stood, jumping off the edge of the roof, and switching out the grapplers to shoot towards the next building in order to propel from one to another. The grenade would trigger, exploding right in front of Jasari's face causing a bright flashing light and an absolutely loud noise that would trigger a temporary loss of hearing and of course some blindness. This led the knight with a pissed off attitude, such a mere morsel with a good few tricks under its sleeves what a clever little bastard he was. _
The flash was worse than a mere bullet. Jasari covered her eyes with her hands as she dropped her rifle, the macro was confused for only a few seconds, seeing white spots instead of the school ruins, and her ears were ringing loudly like air caught in her ear.
The human propelled through the streets as far as he could to avoid the flash bang, from passing as many buildings then through the cities with more ruin, possibly more macros nearby. Finding a place to hide may be easy but with the speed he was going it was like there was no need too trying to get cover.
“I cannot let that thing come near me, if I stay in its territory I'll surely end up becoming its next meal."
He says to himself under his cloak as he continues to shoot the metal rods to one building to another, swinging with intense speed like it was natural for his first time but with that confidence building up that he was actually thinking he'd get away with it, was surely mistaken.
After a while she'd recovered and set off in pursuit of the human. First she bent down for her rifle, then reached for the school's roof in which he had been before. She brought her nostrils and sniffed it to smell her next prey. Its scent was distinct and its trail was in a fog. She ran out into the streets and started looking for him.
Jasari was furious.
His scent led her to Shibuya where he stood in the center of the famous crossing road. Among the rubble, newly grown trees, among the rusty dried out cars, stood the wreckage of a machine abandoned many years ago, and on it stood her prey.
She moved slowly and cautiously towards him, he had nowhere to run. She noticed his miniscule form pointing the rifle at her. She stopped a few dozen meters away from him and prepared a knife in hand- this was a truly fighting standoff.
"I may be big, but you are the small one here.."
She shouted and quickly raised one of her paws and slammed it down, crushing some cars beneath her rough brown sole or whatever is left of her toeless boot. The force was so great that the human fell to his knees. From a little giggle to a loud noise of laughter as his hood slides off showing the human's face, he was only a boy. Just around nineteen all on his own, his dirty blondish hair was messy and it was somewhat a wolf cut.
''Sorry lady, but size doesn't matter.''
He said as the late teen stood up, shouting out loud as he jumped up with the grapplers, and firing towards the one hundred and nine tower's roof. Aiming his rifle to the ground where she stood and firing at the mines near her as predicted causing it to explode and have her legs sink into the streets with also both buildings next to her falling onto her from both sides, to trap her under the rubble.
Only her face was exposed as she was indeed trapped underneath the fallen buildings, spitting out some blood from her lips, and he'd swing down a few meters from her muzzle.
“You move, I'll shoot, I don't care how big you are or how small I am, but I ain't going to die easily, not without a fight." He said holding his rifle, slowly placing the finger on the trigger while the gun was still loaded.
She looked at him, he was within her hand's reach, but instead of catching him she slowly stopped squirming underneath the rubble.
"You've got me." The fury on her face was fading, being replaced by a smile on her lips as she stared at the human.
"It was a pleasant hunt... I'm Jasari, what's your name" she said towards the blonde with a smirk.
He'd slowly lowered his rifle, throwing out a magazine and seeing he ran out all what he had left, tossed the rifle to the side, and pulled out his grappling pistols. Slowly turning around and began to walk away, he then spoke out loudly.
''Rose, Judah Novelletah Rose.''
_Just like that he swung out in escape, leaving the hunt to continue for her until one day he'll be caught but for now she'll just need to get out of this rubble and chase after him but for the time being she needs to know how, and for the Rose he'll need to decide if Judah should trust Jasari or not if he'll ever see her again. _
