Wintermane and the Merry Men

A long time ago, there was a royal family who ruled over a kingdom in England. The lioness queen had lost her husband some time ago while raising their son, a white lion cub called Wintermane, and she got married to another king, a black lion by the name of King Grendel. To her misfortune, this king was a vain lion and who feared that someday Wintermane might even surpass his own charm and handsome looks and figure. So when the good queen passed away for reasons unknown, Grendel had Wintermane dressed in rags and forced him into hard labor as a servant in the castle. Grendel owned an all knowing magic mirror that would always tell the truth. Each day the king would consult the mirror and ask, "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" As long as the mirror's answer turned out in the king's favor, Wintermane was safe from Grendel's cruel jealousy. And in the nearby kingdom of Nottingham, Grendel had a cousin named Prince John, who would often visit the black lion from time to time accompanied by the Sheriff of Nottingham. And in between these two kingdoms was the vast greenery of Sherwood Forest.

A figure watches on from the shadows as a carriage would be making its way through the forest “Prince John is making his way through," he would say.

"Sounds like a wonderful day for charity, wouldn't you say?" asked another figure chuckling.

“Indeed buddy" he would say

On the main road was a royal procession where a lion with golden fur was sitting with a snake. "I'm very interested to meet your cousin sire," said the snake, "Tell me, is it true that he's more handsome than any man in the world just as he claims to be?"

“Hehe indeed he is my friend" the lion would say.

“And is it true that he owns a mirror that knows everything and tells the truth?" asked the snake, “If he wasn't your cousin, one would say he was a magician."

“Maybe. Maybe not," he would say with a smile.

“And what about his stepson? Prince Wintermane? What's he like?" asked the snake.

"Mmmmmmm hot but he's kept busy" the lion says

"A prince? Kept busy? Well, if he's a prince, then I'm a turkey," scoffed the snake.

Elsewhere, a blue dragon was dressed up as an old gypsy with a walking stick in hand. "How close are they?" he asked a wolf that was also dressed up like a gypsy.

"About 4 clicks out. mmmmmmm though i might tell robin I'm keeping this" the wold laughed twirling in the outfit.

"Alright," sighed the dragon, "But just remember I'm your grandmother. So you'll have to help me. Now, signal to Robin. Let him know we're ready."

The wolf nods giving Robin the thumbs up who was hiding in the trees who nodded in response

The royal procession was coming up the road when the four of them came up to attract their attention. The dragon hobbled up on the walking stick with the wolf by his side while the fox and bear called for attention saying the dragon was the world's greatest fortune teller.

“Oh, goody! Fortune tellers! Stop the coach!" the lion called out as the wolf stood beside the dragon helping him sell the elder act

"Sire, they could be bandits," whispered the snake. The dragon hobbled up to the lion carefully bowed to him but cried out as though bowing too far when the wolf caught him. "Thank you, dear," he said in an old, creaky voice to the wolf before turning to the lion, "I am honored to serve your majesty in any way I can."

The lion allowed the wolf and dragon aboard as the snake was about to speak when the wolf gently scratched under his chin. "mmmm did know you had such a handsome second hand your majesty" Troy said in a feminine voice as he helped the Dragon set up his stage

The dragon sat down and was provided a crystal ball. "Now, I need absolute silence," he said as he started humming and groaning making it look like he was going into a trance. "You don't have to make rude noises," complained the snake. "That's alright. I don't mind," said the dragon and resumed his "chanting". Then he looked into the crystal ball. "I see... I see..." Suddenly, there was a bell ringing from his bag and he pulled out a bone, "Granny's Psychic hotline." "Do men have any redeeming qualities?" said a voice on the bone. "Well, how should I know?" snapped the dragon before putting the bone away and then gazing into the crystal ball. "I see a lion... A prince! A wealthy prince at that... But with such a cold heart," he said clicking his tongue, "I can see hatred and greed overshadowing your days. I see you stranded in poverty unless you change your ways."

"Oh poppy cock! I think everything is going fine with my ways" the lion says.

"That's what you say... Until you meet with Death!" said the dragon, "He has your days numbered into minutes because of your greed."

“Death isn't real more or less a figure" the lion says

But then the dragon gasped as he looked around. "Listen! I can hear him whistling... He's coming!" he gasped as Prince John suddenly heard someone whistling and then the tip of a blade near his throat.

“How's it going stud. I was wondering when I was gonna meet you" the wolf huffed with a smirk

"It's him!" gasped the dragon in fright making Prince John scream in fright and cling to the snake making them both faint. The dragon smiled as he replied, "Now's our chance. Strip 'em."

Both wolves nod doing so “you always have to show off don't ya dad?" The younger wolf chuckle

"What can I say?" chuckled the white wolf, "The looks come with the territory." They all gathered up what gold they could lay their hands on and stripped Prince John to his underwear.

“We better get going before the Calvary shows up" he says smiling

The dragon nodded and then paused. "Uh oh! I think it's coming this way," he said pointing up the road, "Look!" In the distance, they could see soldiers in black armor and on horseback came charging towards them. "We'd better amscray!" yelled the dragon, "If they're sent by who I think it is, they'll cut our throats for sure!"

“Let's go then!!" He would say as the white wolf disappears and the duo soon runs out of there with their prizes

Before long, the soldiers arrive and the captain, a black and white malamute approached Prince John's carriage. "Your highness," he said bowing, "His majesty King Grendel sent us down here to give you an escort to his kingdom. But by the looks of it, it would seem someone robbed you before we got here."

“Mmmm yes…please take me to him…" Prince John would say

Later at the castle, a white lion weeding the palace gardens outside was humming to himself. Then he sat up wiping the sweat from his brow. He got up and walked over to a well that was in the center of the garden. He peered down into it and sighed. "Wishing well, will I ever get to see happiness again?" he said softly when he thought he heard a crash from within the royal pantry.

He soon raced there and found an anthro fox was rummaging food into a bag then looks up at the white lion.

"What are you doing in here?" asked the lion making the fox jump.

"I'm sorry I just need food!" he would say tying up the bag quickly.

"You could have just asked for food instead of stealing it," said the young lion as he looked at the sack which had a small hole in it.

“Yeah sorry but my guys are hungry and trying to also help feed others as well" he would say.

“If you're hungry why not ask the king?" asked the young lion. Suddenly, they heard guards rushing around. “There's an intruder! Search the palace!" one said to another.

“Yeah that's kinda why…gotta go!" He would say taking off in a hurry

"But..." the white lion said but sighed as he never got to say anymore. He decided that he had to talk to the king himself. He walked into the dinning room where the king was enjoying his lunch. "Your majesty," he said bowing, "May I have a word?" The black lion looked up with a scowl and then sighed waving a hand as another servant brought in a chair. "Please," said Grendel, "You were saying, Wintermane?" The white lion gulped and was about to start when two wolf guards brought in the fox. "We found the thief, your majesty," said the guard as he snatched the bag from the fox. Grendel stood up and walked over to him. "So... You're the so-called Robin Hood I've heard so much about," he sneered raking a claw under the fox's chin.

Robin huffed turning his chin away and huffed angrily. “Easy with the claw, jerk," he would say with a snarl

"Your majesty, please spare him," said Wintermane, "He was just getting some food for his friends." The black lion turned and glared at the white lion. "What did you say?" he sneered, "Do you really expect me, a king of this entire kingdom, to listen to you, the pitiful orphan Prince Wintermane?" Robin's face went up in shock and surprise. "All I'm asking is that you show him mercy," asked the white lion, "We all need a little kindness." The black lion scoffed. "Perhaps my cousin Prince John might help me decide," he said, "Wouldn't you agree, cousin?"

“Agreed…and I think should imprison him honestly." Prince John says

"No, please! Imprisonment for stealing food?" asked Wintermane, "Couldn't we just let him off with a warning or something?" But Grendel just ignored the white lion and turned to his guards. "Take away all of Robin Hood's clothes and then tie him up to the front gate," he said and the guards dragged the fox away. Wintermane left the dinning room feeling helpless to stop any of it.

“Now get back to work." Grendel would say with a snarl

Wintermane hurried back to the kitchen, but he knew he had to take a stand. Later after Robin was naked and tied up to the gate, the white lion snuck over behind him and undid the ropes holding the fox in place. Through the gate, Wintermane handed the fox a fresh new tunic and a loaf of bread. "It's not much, but it will help you get to wherever you need to go," he said to Robin.

“But won't you get in trouble though?" He asked

"Don't worry about me," said Wintermane, "Just focus on getting out of this place... My place is here."

“Then come with me then" he would say “I can tell they mistreat you"

"I can't," said Wintermane placing a hand on top of Robin's through the gate, "Just promise that you'll tell me what the world is like out there."

“I will" he would say getting a better grip on his stuff and would quickly leave

Wintermane smiled before retreating back into the palace. At that moment, King Grendel spotted Wintermane and Robin together and seeing the fox escape. In a jealous rage, he rushed to his mirror. "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" he growled, but, this time, the mirror answered,

"Famed is thy charms majesty,

But hold, a handsome lad I see.

Rags cannot hide his kind and gentle grace.

Alas, he's more fairer than thee."

The king just scoffed and says, "Well, I'll see to it that he's disposed of. Reveal his name." "Eyes blue as sapphires, mane smooth as silk and fur white as snow." King Grendel gasped as he realized who the mirror was referring to. "Wintermane," he growled to himself. He turned to leave when he saw John and Sir Hiss standing outside the mirror room. "Have you been listening?" he snarled making John flinch nervously.

“A little bit…" he would say nervously

Grendel was about to yell at John but then had a thought. "Cousin John," he said calming himself down, "That sheriff of yours back in Nottingham. Do you trust him?"

“Of coarse. He collects all the taxes and imprisons those that don't" he would say

"Then send for him and let him come here at once," said Grendel smirking, "I have a very important task for him."

“Understood, cousin," John says and had put the order in for the sheriff to be summoned in.

And when the sheriff arrived, Grendel was sitting in his throne waiting for him. "Sheriff of Nottingham, I presume?" he asked looking the fat wolf over.

“Yes, sir. The prince said you wanted to talk to me?" He would say.

"Yes, I did," said the king, "I have a very important task for you concerning Prince Wintermane."

“Yes, sir. What can I do to help?" he asked.

"I want you to take Prince Wintermane far into the forest," said Grendel as Prince John and Sir Hiss were nearby making sure the sheriff got every word, "Find him a secluded glade with wild flowers and animals. And there, while he's distracted with the view of his new surroundings, you will kill him!"

“But your majesty he's just a kid!" The sheriff would say

"Silence!" roared Grendel standing up with fury on his face and pointed a claw at the shivering wolf, "You know the penalty if you fail."

“Yes… yes, your majesty…" he would say.

"But to make absolutely sure that you don't fail, I want you to bring me proof that the deed is done," said Grendel as he turned to the side and held out a small box, "Bring back Wintermane's heart in this."

The sheriff took the box staring down at it. “Yes, sir…" he would say softly.

"Now go! And do NOT breathe a word of this to anyone or else it will be your heart I'll be holding in my hands!" snarled Grendel making the sheriff tremble even more.

“Yes, sir. Right away, sir," he would say as he left.

And later that day, the sheriff had led Wintermane deep into the forest. "I never knew the forest would have this much color," said the white lion looking around, "What are the animals like out here?"

“I'm not sure…I don't get out very often this far into the forest to be honest" he would say

"Then how do you know the way?" asked Wintermane when he looked over to see some flowers in a meadow. "Oh, how beautiful!" he said kneeling down to smell them unaware of the dagger drawn behind him.

The sheriff gotten closer and closer raising the dagger up and the lion screamed in fear but the sheriff whimpered and cried and dropped it “I can't do it…I can't do it…. I'm a crook not a murderer…please my young prince I'm dreadfully sorry" he cried out

"But why?" asked Wintermane looking up at the sheriff, "Why would you want to kill me?"

“The king put me up to it!" He would say

"My... My stepfather?" asked Wintermane confused, "But... I thought you were a good man. Why would you do such evil?"

“No time to explain…run…runaway hide!!!! Please go!!" He said out with worry.

Wintermane nodded before running off into the dark forest alone. The white lion was scared, lost, and hungry. He didn't know what to do. He thought he heard wolves howling and then he began to get scared as he ran faster, until he tripped and fell to the ground. He got up and crawled to a nearby tree, where he sat there and cried, feeling miserable from all the drama that he just went through at this tender time in his life. Before long, he saw a little house nestled deep between two great oak trees. He knocked on the door but no one answered. He looked around calling out if anyone was home, but still no answer. Finally, he made his way to the kitchen where he found some food spread out at on the table. "Everything's cold," he thought as he picked up a place and tasted food, "But I'm too hungry to care. I hope whoever lives here won't mind me eating their food." Before long, he felt tired and then looked around to find the bedroom. He up to a great big bed and fell asleep at once.

Soon Robin Hood was returning with the merry men with the same dragon and wolf couple from earlier who actually happen to be the cabin owners

"Well, that was quite the ordeal," said the dragon as he stood upright and was struggling to get out of the dress he used for his gypsy disguise.

“I don't see what the issue was" the wolf chuckled getting out of his dress with ease

"That's because you're not afraid to show your slip," joked the dragon making everyone laugh.

Even the wolf laughed but stopped in his tracks when the reached the cottage

"Hey! Who left the door open?" asked Nathan as he noticed something off too.

“Not me" everyone took a turn saying. “I'm sensing a life form in there. Friendly actually," Troy said

Everyone cautiously entered when the bear, Little John, looked down at the table. "Someone's definitely in here... They nearly ate all our food," he whispered pointing at a plate that was recently used.

“They must have been hungry." A rabbit said

"Shhh!" hushed the white wolf, Troy's father Lupin, as he pointed into the bedroom, "Someone's asleep in bed. Let's see who it is."

Soon they all made their way up stairs to the bedrooms which most were empty till they got to the master bedroom

"I'll pull back the covers," whispered Nathan, "You boys get ready to grab him if he resists." But the moment he pulled the sheets back, everyone paused and stared at the beautiful white lion asleep in the bed. "What's he doing here?" asked the little rabbit as he looked up at Robin.

“Something happened…" Robin said and looked the lion over and then gently shook him

Wintermane's eyes fluttered open. "Where am I?" he groaned, "How did I get here?"

“You tell us." Robin said kindly

Wintermane thought and gasped as he frowned. "Oh, I remember now. King Grendel... He tried to have me killed," he whimpered, "Please help me. I'm in terrible danger." "Of course we'll help you," said Lupin, "But first you might want to tell us who you are." "I'm Wintermane," said the lion. Everyone stood in shocked silence. "Not Prince Wintermane?" asked Little John. "Yes," replied the white lion. "A real prince!" gasped the rabbit.

“Well glad you found us," Troy said with a smile.

"So will you let me stay here?" asked Wintermane, "I don't know where to go or who else to turn to."

“Of course. Your welcome to stay as long as you want," Troy would say

"Thank you," said Wintermane, "And please, call me Winter." "Oh boy! A real prince is staying with us!" cheered the little rabbit but paused before bowing before the lion, "I'm Skippy, your highness." Winter chuckled as he shook Skippy's hand. "Pleased to meet you," he said with a friendly smile.

He nodded happily as he sat down on the bed as Lupin walked up “I'm Lupin." He would say shaking the princes hand

"Lupin, mind your manners," hushed a badger who came up between Troy and Little John, "Friar Tuck at your service, your highness." Winter blushed. "Please, just call me Winter," he said, "As you can see, I'm not exactly a prince at the moment." The dragon chuckled. "I'm Nathan, and this is my husband Troy," he said, "And you've already met his father, Lupin."

Troy and Lupin nodded but were sticking to the shadows a bit their eyes once blue have a red sheen to them which only can be seen in darkness

"Uh... Why are they in the shadows?" asked Winter confused. "Hmm? Oh, right," said Nathan and looked to the two wolves, "Troy! Lupin! Stop staring like a bunch of vultures and get over here! You're scaring the poor boy."

They chuckled and soon walked up their eyes going back to blue in the light but shook hands with the prince their handshakes were strong but gave the prince a slight odd chill

"You'll have to excuse them," said Nathan, "It's a force of habit they have. I'm sure they wouldn't mind explaining themselves later on... Right?"

“Yeah sorry about that. But yeah we will explain things later. For now I think we should plan for dinner" Troy would say with a smile.

"Oh, I'm sorry about eating the food," said Winter remembering what he did when he first arrived, "I can make bread if there's any flour."

“It's ok we are actually eating really good tonight. Prince John left his castle with minimal guard so we raided his cupboard and got a bunch of food." Robin said with a smile.

"How did you sneak into his castle?" asked Winter, "You must have had better luck there than in Grendel's castle." "Yeah," added the bear, "Oh, by the way, name's Little John." "Little?" asked Winter confused as he looked the bear over, "But... How are you..."

“Don't worry about it" he would say with a smile.

Winter smiled and looked back over to Robin. "Did you ever know my father? King Richard?" he asked.

“We all did. Troy, Nathan and Lupin mostly did. I had a few conversations with him even," Robin said with a warm smile.

Wintermane smiled but then frowned sadly. "Winter? What's wrong?" asked Skippy, "Why are you sad?" "Oh, I'm alright," he said, "It's just that I haven't heard much about my father or mother in a very long time from anyone. And you've all been so kind. I guess I'm just not used to hearing such compliments."

“That old King Grendel been real nasty to ya, I take it?" Little John asked.

Wintermane nodded. "Mama says King Grendel makes the prince work day and night and hidden from sight," said Skippy, "All because the king wants to be known as 'the fairest of them all'."

“That sounds stupid. That's definitely not how to do it" Troy says bluntly.

"Well, try telling that to the king himself," joked Little John, "But then, of course, you already met him face to face." "I'm sorry he did such a horrible thing to you," said Winter looking down when he felt a gentle paw rest a top of his own.

It was Robin who gave the lion a comforting smile. “I've had worst things done to me," He would say.

"You seem so brave," said Winter blushing, "Albeit a little reckless, but your heart is in the right place." "Ha!" laughed Little John, "Reckless is the word. You know something, Rob? You take too many chances."

“Chances? Ha!! Just all a lark!" Robin says and Troy laughs pointing to the sewn spot on robins hat. “Oh yeah? That spot on your hat was no candle on a cake," Troy said with a laugh, “Almost had your name on it."

Wintermane smiled. He was with friends whom would keep him safe.

Back at the castle, the sheriff had delivered the box to the king. Now, Grendel was in front of his mirror holding the box in his hands. "Magic Mirror on the wall, who now is the fairest one of all?" he asked. The mirror, with its hollow face appearing before the king, replied,

"Deep within the Sherwood Forest,

Beyond the Crystal fall,

In the cottage of Robin Hood,

dwells Wintermane, fairest one of all."

"He's alive?! This can't be! I have his heart in this box right here!" growled the king. But the mirror replied,

"_Wintermane still lives the fairest in the land. _

Tis the heart of a pig you hold in your hand."

Filled with anger, Grendel stormed out of his room and marched straight to Prince John's room and slammed the door open. "Traitor!" he roared at the smaller lion, "You shall be hanged, drawn and quartered!" "Me? What have I done?" asked Prince John. "Wintermane is still alive!" growled Grendel, "My mirror has just told me. And my mirror never lies!" "But you have his heart in that box to prove it," replied Sir Hiss. "This? This is the heart of a pig!" yelled Grendel throwing the box at the snake who barely dodged it, "Wintermane is still alive!"

“Hey don't be angry at me! You asked me to send the sheriff to you! Yell at him not me!" He would say.

"GUARDS!" yelled Grendel, "Seize the sheriff and take him to the torture chamber at once!" Later, the Sheriff was stripped of his uniform and was being stretched on the rack while Prince John, Sir Hiss and King Grendel watched on.

“Umm cuz don't you think this is too much?" He would say

But Grendel growled at Prince John while the sheriff cried out in pain. "Now that I've loosened you up, then tell me why didn't you kill Wintermane?" he snarled at the wolf.

“I couldn't do it I swear I'm a crook not a murderer!" He cried out

"Where is he now?" he growled as two apes pulled on some wheels to pull on the sheriff's limbs even more.

“He ran off into the forest!" He screamed out.

Grendel snarled in anger and turned to the malamute soldier. "Captain Steele, search the forest," he said, "Find Wintermane and don't come back without him." The malamute bowed and left. Grendel then turned to Prince John. "And you, Prince John, I hold you and Sir Hiss responsible for the escape of Wintermane," he snarled, "See to it that he's found and killed as soon as possible, or you'll join your sheriff here on the rack!"

“Understood…" they said and looked at each other “I dunno about this…" Sir Hiss whispered to Prince John.

Prince John nodded and then grinned as he remembered Grendel's mirror knew everything and always told the truth.

“Whatcha thinking sire?" He asked

"I think we might have the answer to locating Wintermane after all," chuckled Prince John and he spoke with his cousin before they went up to the mirror room. Sure enough, the mirror told them exactly where to find the cottage. "Well, since this was your idea, Prince John," said Grendel as he handed him two potions and a basket of scarves, "You may go there yourself to kill Wintermane. The red potion is for a disguise and the blue potion is for transporting you back here to my palace once the deed is done."

“Understood," Prince John says

Meanwhile at the cottage, Robin and his gang had heard about Grendel's men searching for Wintermane and decided to lead the soldiers on a wild goose chase. At the same time, Prince John found the cottage and grinned as he drank the red potion turning him into an old goat merchant selling scarves. Wintermane was sweeping the front porch when he heard someone calling out, "SCARVES! SCARVES FOR SALE! 50 cents a scarf!" He looked over and saw an old goat walk up to him. "Hello, young man. Would you like to buy one of my scarves?" the old goat asked. "They're all so beautiful, but I don't have any money with me," the white lion said blushing. "That's alright son. You can try on my best one and see how it suits you," he said as he held up a black scarf with gold emblems. "Oh, it's beautiful," Wintermane said, admiring the scarf. "Here, allow me," the goat said as he wrapped the scarf around the white lion's neck. But suddenly, the scarf began to choke Wintermane every time the goat kept wrapping the scarf around the poor lion's neck. When the goat wrapped around the last half of the scarf, Wintermane fell to the ground unconscious. "Now that is what I call 'breath-takingly' beautiful!" He laughed as he drank the blue potion and vanished in a puff of smoke leaving the lifeless lion alone.

Troy was patrolling around with his dad but soon they stopped in their tracks and looked at each other. “You sensing it too, Dad?" Troy asked.

“Winter," said Lupin nodding, “Get Little John!" They rushed back to the cottage and were shocked to find the white lion on the ground.

Troy comes sliding in with Little John. “Who would do this?" Little John asked.

"Never mind that," said Lupin, "Cut the scarf off his neck. Quickly!"

Troy whips out a knife and starts cutting the scarf off.

The moment it was off, Wintermane gasped for air and was panting heavily. “Wha-what happened?" he asked looking around.

“Someone tried to kill you," Lupin said.

“The last thing I remember was an old goat selling scarfs," said Winter, “But he tied it on so tight that I couldn't breathe."

Troy picks up the scarf looking it over seeing if it had any magic spells attached to it

But there wasn't. However, it did have Prince John's royal crest in the corner of the embroidery. “It was Prince John in disguise," said Little John gravely.

“Apparently he didn't heed our warning. But I think he is being manipulated," Troy says.

“But why?" asked Wintermane as he looked around at the others who arrived bar to see what happened.

“I think Grendel wants to be known as the fairest of them all," Skippy says softly.

“Well, what's important now is that you're safe, son," said Friar Tuck patting the lion's shoulder.

“Help him inside." Troy said rubbing his head looking up at the sky as winter was taken inside by the others

Back at the castle, Grendel watched as the old goat transformed back into Prince John. “Well? Is it done?" he asked.

“It's done. He was unconscious when I left." Prince John says

“Good," said Grendel but frowned, “But I think I had better check." He went up to his mirror and asked, “Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" The mirror's hollow face appeared and said,

Far beyond the castle wall,

somewhere in the woods dwells

Wintermane, fairest one of all."

Grendel stiffened and glared at Prince John.

“I swear I did!" Prince John as the mirror spoke up. “He speaks the truth. For he has completed such a task. Though there are some that hide just behind a mask," said the mirror.

Grendel growled and pointed out. "John, go to your room!" he yelled making his cousin whimper and suck his thumb.

“Sir, please not this again," the snake would say.

"Hiss!" yelled Grendel making the snake flinch, "May I see you for a moment?"

“Yes sir" he would say slithering to Grendel

The black lion then gave the snake the same red and blue potions as before along with a ring. "Congratulations," he said to the snake, "You've just been promoted to my personal spy and assassin."

“But… but sir!" He wold say.

"Unless you'd rather join the sheriff on the rack," said Grendel with a growl making the snake gulp nervously and reconsider his words.

“Understood," he would say.

Grendel smirked as the snake left at once. Then the malamute captain came in. "Yes, captain? What is it?" asked the king looking down at the soldier kneeling before him.

“Just seeing if you had anything for me to do" he would say

"Actually, there is," said Grendel smirking, "You remember my cousin, Prince John? Well, he messed something up and needs a reminder of who's in charge. Care to offer him... A bone?"

“Hehe with pleasure sir" Steele smirked.

In his room, Prince John was hugging a pillow and sucking his thumb. "Mother wouldn't let me get bullied like that," he whimpered through his thumb sucking.

“Well mother ain't here" Steele said walking in.

The lion jumped looking around but made himself presentable when he saw Steele. "What are you doing here? I don't remember calling for you," he scoffed.

He would smirk nodding. “Yeah, so what?"

"So what?" growled Prince John, "You are barging in without my permission sir! I could have the king punish you for such insolence!"

“Who do you think sent me" Steele smirked.

John went pale as the malamute stalked towards him. "Now, you stay away from me!" he stammered, "I'll... I'll call the guards!"

“They won't come, my twink," Steele smirked undressing himself.

"HISS! HISS, WHERE ARE YOU?!" shouted the prince frantically with a look of terror in his eyes. He shrank into a corner of the room behind a chair. "Mercy! Please, mercy!" he sobbed as tears were streaming down his face.

Steele stood the lion up and threw him down onto the bed.

Prince John yelped as he scrambled up to the head board clutching a pillow. "Stop it! You're scaring me!" he wailed and began sucking his thumb again, “MOMMY!"

Steele then sighed, “John, relax. I'm not gonna hurt you."

"Wait... What?" asked John looking up removing his thumb but kept a pillow in front of him, "Then... What are you gonna do?"

“Look I had to sell it a bit to make it believe able but your cousin is a real jerk…" Steele said.

"Well, it's true he may not be the most agreeable person when he wants to be the most handsome one of all, but he's still family," said John, "And if you feel so strongly about Grendel, why didn't you say anything before?"

“He's to powerful and I don't wanna be prisoned or yet beheaded or hung…" he would say.

John shivered. "I... I see your point," he stuttered, "So... What's supposed to happen now? I've never mated before... Let alone with another male."

Well just relax." He would say with a smile and climbed up onto the bed.

Prince John looked up blushing at the big, nude, muscular malamute above him. They were face to face and the lion could feel his crotch growing hard.

Steele would smile helping the lion slowly undress.

The lion lay there nude and his tail was wrapped up between his legs. "I... I'm not that muscular," he said looking down feeling ashamed, "At least, not like my brother Richard or cousin Grendel."

“It's ok if you're not. Nothing to be ashamed over" he would say.

"You... You mean you... Like me... Like this?" asked John looking up at Steele which earned the lion an affectionate lick on the nose.

“Mhmmm sure do." Steele says with a smile.

"And... Don't tell my cousin this, but which one do you think would be the better ruler? Grendel or Wintermane?" asked John as he slowly reached up to feel Steele's pillowy pecs.

“Mmmmm Winter. He's very fair. You should honestly learn from him" Steele huffed

"Me too... But... Don't let Grendel hear us say that," whispered John, "Uh... Out of curiosity, what do you think of... Me?"

“Well you are greedy self centered and thoughtless. But I honestly think you can be better if you do change." Steele says reaching down holding both their cocks together and gently frots them

John gasped and whimpered. "Then that dragon was right about me," he sniffled, "If I continue on like this, I'll be dirt poor as anything! I want to change... But I'm scared of what Grendel would do if he found out I went soft."

“Then don't let him on just continue playing it off" Steele says.

The lion nodded. "Will... Will you teach me to be good?" he asked softly as he cupped Steele's face and gently stroking the malamute's cheek.

“Sure can" Steele says

John smiles and then leaned his head up to softly kiss the malamute on the lips before he felt the kiss deepen and grow more passionate.

The malamute wagged his tail happily as they made out

Before long, John felt Steele kissing down his body and he gasped as he felt a hot, wet mouth wrap itself around his barbed cock.

“Mmmmmmm so soft" Steele moans softly

"I... I never had anyone suck me off before... Except Sir Hiss, but he's only all mouth and no hands," said John blushing.

“Mmmmm very nice." Steele huffs stroking John

"I... I want you to take my virginity," whimpered the lion as he placed his hands on Steele's head, "I... I think I'm falling in love with you."

“I had that feeling" Steele said wit a smile

John then spread his legs further apart hoping to show the malamute his tail hole. "Please... Be gentle with me," he whimpered softly.

Steele nods softly and scoots closer gently rubs his tip against the lions hole

The lion shivered with anticipation and looked up at Steele and nodded to give the malamute permission to proceed.

He smiles and slowly pushes into the lion

"Oh! Steele!" gasped John as he clenched the sheets beneath him in tight fists, "So... Big!"

Mmmmm fuck such a tight twink" he would moan out

"Yeah... Keep going," moaned John as he felt the malamute begin a slow rhythm, "Don't... Stop..."

He huffs and moans keeping up the deep slow rhythm

John whimpered as his own cock was throbbing when he felt the canine cock inside him poking his prostate and making his own cock dribble precum onto his own chest. "Please... Breed me," whimpered the lion as he leaned up and kissed Steele, "My love!"

Steele moans going deeper and a bit faster “oh fuck this is the best ass I've ever had so far!" He moaned out

"And you're my first... And only cock... To have... Inside me," panted John, "I... I'm getting... Close! Breed me! Cum... Inside me!"

“Ughhh I planned on it!" Steele moans out loudly in joy

They both kissed deeply and John whimpered when he felt Steele's knot pop inside his hole and he felt the warm canine seed fill him up.

“Mmmmmm fuck that was the best sex ever!" Steele panted

John huffed and then felt Steele stroking his feline cock and the lion roared as his own cum erupted onto his chest. "I love you... Steele," whispered John snuggling into the malamute's embrace. Instead of sucking on his thumb, he found one of Steele's nipples and began sucking on it.

“Mmmmmmm love you too John. You know…if you ever want others to do you as well. I don't mind sharing you." Steele said petting his head with a smile

"But... Your nipples are perfect for me... Much better than my thumb," whimpered John still sucking on the malamute's nipple, "However, I'll take your offer into consideration."

Meanwhile, Sir Hiss was making his way through the forest until he came across the cottage where Wintermane was staying in. He saw the white lion was sweeping the front porch while whistling a merry tune.

Hiss sighs heavily. “I dunno if I can do this.." he would say softly

But then he remembered what happened to the sheriff and slithered on. Then he drank the red potion and transformed into a hound. Holding a pack on his back, he lumbered up to the cottage. "Hello young man," said the old hound, "Forgive me for intruding like this but I've been walking all day without anything to eat. May I rest here for a while?" Wintermane was unsure about trusting anyone while Robin and his men were out. But the hound looked harmless enough. Surely there wouldn't be any harm in allowing him a seat by the fire and a bowl of stew, right?

"Of course you may," said Wintermane guiding the hound to a bench on the front porch. "Thank you so much, young man," said the old hound as he hobbled up on a walking stick.

Once the hound was settled in, it didn't take but a moment to get some nice, hot stew for him; Little John always made enough for the men to have plenty to fill their bellies after a hard day of work, and so there was still a lot leftover from what the bear had made for lunch.

The hound sipped the stew till it was all gone. "Oh, you's such a good boy," said the hound, "Allow me to repay you for your kindness," he said as he removed a ring from his finger. "It's beautiful," said Winter, "But I shouldn't. I don't have any money." "Oh, well here. Take it as a gift," said the hound. Winter slowly took the ring, but when he put it on his finger, he gasped as he felt it sting his finger and he passed out. "Maybe second time's the charm," chuckled the hound as he ran off laughing. But he didn't get very far as the blue potion fell out of his grip and smashed upon a rock. Suddenly, the hound disguise was gone and he was back in his snake form again. "Uh oh!" gulped Hiss as he tried to slither away as fast as he could.

Soon a big black boot steeped in front of him stopping him and when he looked up was greeted by a gray wolf and was grabbed by him and picked up “you honestly think I was gonna leave the prince unguarded?" He would say his blue eyes glanced a red sheen then back to blue again

"Oh... Uh... Don't mind me," gulped the snake chuckling nervously, "I was just here to drop something off. So I did now, it's time for me to go. Bye bye!" He tried to slither the other way when he something big and hairy landed on top of him. "Just where do you think you're going, buster?" snapped Little John. "Buster?" snapped Hiss flabbergasted, "I'll have you know I'm counselor to Prince John himself! And you, sir, are squishing my tail!"

“Well does it look like we care?" A fox said walking up and it happened to be Robin Hood

The snake gulped. "Well... Not particularly," he said nervously, "But you don't understand. If I didn't do it, King Grendel would put me on the rack... Just like the sheriff when he failed to kill Prince Wintermane." It was then Friar Tuck came up to examine Winter's body. "Hey," he said, "This ring wasn't on him before." He carefully took it off and just like before, Winter awoke dazed and confused. "Wha-What's going on?" he asked groggily. Hiss gulped. "I'm doomed for sure!" he groaned.

“You know I think my dad would love to have some words with you." Troy would say

"Your... D-D-D-Dad?" asked Hiss nervously as he was clearly shaking in his skin and his hisses were stuttering.

“Little John take him to the basement I'll dad will be with him shortly" Troy says

Hiss was stuttering and then fainted. "Come on, Creepy," chuckled Little John as he picked up the limp noodle and carried him to the basement. "Well, you definitely take after your old man," chuckled Nathan as he came up, "But for now, I think we'd better take a look at that ring." Tuck examined it and found a needle point on the inside. "It was poisoned!" exclaimed the badger, "Probably with something to keep him unconscious until removed."

Troy chuckles nodding “you know it" he would say listening to tuck talk and was shocked at the news taking the ring looking it over “this Grendel fella is really wanting this lion dead I think we need to protect him better or better yet stop him." Troy said

"But how?" asked Nathan, "He's bound to try again sooner or later. And did you hear what Sir Hiss said? He put the Sheriff of Nottingham on the rack. Boy, that king must be really pissed. I don't want to be the one who spat in his morning porridge."

Troy nods observing the ring some more “if only King Richard was here" Troy says “but you know it has been a while since we visited our friend Prince John"

Over to the side, Winter was sitting alone. "I can't believe I got fooled again," he said to himself, "Dad... I wish you and Mom were still alive."

Troy and Robin walk up as Troy excused himself to join Lupin and Robin sat with Winter. “How you feeling?" Robin asked.

"I feel pathetic," said Winter rubbing his arms, "I should've known it was someone sent by my stepfather to kill me... But my parents always taught me that I should always show kindness to everybody. My father said a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others."

“Well my men really want to protect you. Little John, Nathan Troy and Lupin are my best men and are willing to protect you." He would say with a smile holding winters hand

Winter smiled and then asked, "Robin... Were you always a robber your entire life?" he asked, "How do you know the forest so well?"

“Not my entire life. But me Troy and little John always played in the forest" he would say

"Well, what was your life like when my father was alive?" asked Winter hoping to learn more about his foxy friend.

He was always fair caring and supportive." He would say

"And what about your family?" asked Winter, "What were they like?"

My parents died when I was young age. But Troy and his parents took me in and treated me like family" he would say.

Wintermane snuggled up to the fox. "I'm sure I would've loved your parents whoever they were," he said softly.

“I do get to talk to them on occasion though." He would say with a smile holding the lion close

"You do?" asked Winter confused, "How?"

“Heh I'll have to explain it to ya later but I'll just say Troy and Lupin have their ways" he would say

"You mean they're psychics?" asked Winter confused but blushed when he noticed their faces were mere inches apart from each other.

“You can say that…not my place. Should talk to them about it. Plus they still owe you the explanation" Robin says blushing when their faces were inches apart

Winter blushed looking away asking, "So... Do you have a sweetheart?"

“I don't…do you?" He asked

"Well... I do have someone in mind... But I'm concerned whether he feels the same for me," explained Winter as he looked Robin face to face.

“It's me isn't it?" Robin asked

Winter gulped softly and nodded. "I loved you the moment I first met you," he whispered softly.

“I had the feeling" he would say

"And... Do you... Love me?" asked Winter softly.

“I do.." he would say

Winter smiled as he placed a paw on top of Robin's paw and he felt the fox cup his face as their lips slowly met in a soft, gentle kiss.

The Fox huff and holds the lion close as they kissed

The white lion moaned in the kiss and lay down on the ground. Luckily, there was no one around as Winter watched Robin get on top of him.

Robin huffs pulling off the kiss

"I... I never knew a kiss would be that wonderful," panted Winter looking up at the fox, "Is... Is there more?"

“Yes…but we gotta make this quick" he would say

"Quick? But why?" asked Winter feeling slightly disappointed.

“Heh nothing" he would smile Robin smile

Winter smiled as he leaned up and kissed Robin once more.

Robing kisses back his tail wagging happily

Before long, Winter felt Robin open the lion's tunic and the white lion moaned when the fox began sucking on his nipples.

Mmmmmmmmm so soft" Robin said softly

"Wanna go further?" asked Wintermane as he slowly reached up to slip his hands under Robin's tunic.

Mmmm yes please" he said

Winter sat up, removing Robin's tunic and then pulled the front of his leggings down to suck on the emerging cock coming out of the fox's sheath.

Robin moaned loudly in joy wagging his tail

The white lion kept at it when Robin noticed a bulge in Winter's leggings too.

“Mmmmmm someone is hard as well" Robin moans

"Do you... Think you can help me?" asked Winter blushing while his face was still near Robin's crotch.

“Mmmm you bet whip it out. I got the perfect thing for it" he huffs

Winter nodded as he removed his leggings to reveal his hard, barbed cock. Soon, both males were naked together and Winter could feel the soft, warm fox fur against his own.

Robin huff happily sitting up and would guide the lions cock into his ass

Winter moaned as he humped up into Robin and then sat up to kiss the fox while continuing the mating.

He kissed back while riding the lion's cock

"Oh... Robin!" moaned Winter humping into the fox, "It... It feels so tight."

“Mmmmm and your pretty large for a lion" he moans.

"I... I hope you can... Do me... Too," panted Winter softly as he felt close to his climax.

“Mmmmmmmm I will be" he says

Winter panted and gritted his teeth as he felt his climax approaching. "I... I'm getting close," he huffed, "Where... Where do you want it?"

“Inside" he moans

The white lion gripped the fox's hips and leaned forward to kiss Robin deeply as his seed filled the fox up. Winter panted as he kept his arms around Robin. "I'll confess... This was... My very first time... Ever," he said blushing, "How are you feeling?"

“Mmmmmmmm not gonna lie not my first time hehe" he would chuckle

"Then... Will you show me what's like... Receiving?" asked Winter blushing through his snow white fur.

Robin smiles nodding standing up and would get between the lions legs smiling and slowly pushed his cock into the lion's ass.

Wintermane gasped as he felt the fox push inside and he whimpered. "Please... Be gentle," he stammered looking up at Robin.

He nods smiling gently thrusting into him deeply and lovingly.

The white lion moaned as he felt Robin slide his cock inside and little by little, his tail hole got used to the penetration.

“Mmmmmmm… I'm getting close already," Robin moaned.

"Fill me... Cum inside me," whimpered Winter as he felt Robin's knot hammering away at the lion's tail hole demanding entry.

Robin soon forced his knot in and came hard into the lion

Winter also came again and hugged Robin kissing him deeply. "I love you, Robin," he panted while purring and nuzzling the fox.

Mmmmm I love you too Winter" he moans out

They lay together for a while longer in each other's arms with the white lion falling asleep next to Robin.

Soon some time later a dinner bell would be Ringing and everyone came to get their food

After getting dressed, Winter and Robin soon joined the others at the dinner table. "Hey, where did you two disappear off to?" asked Skippy making the lion and fox blush when Little John intervened by saying, "We'll tell ya when you're older."

Troy chuckles petting the rabbit head as he walked past, but out of the coroner of winters eye he notice Lupin and Troy talking a bit and saw Lupin drinking some tea and next to lupin was a small mirror and the only thing that could be seen is the cup floating in mid air

Winter stared at the mirror and asked, "Where's your reflection?"

Lupin looked at Winter. “What are you talking about?" He asked

Nathan groaned at his father-in-law's antics. "Lupin, don't be ignorant," he snapped, "Tell the truth or I will."

“We can't hide it forever pop. He been with us for long enough it's time he knew" Troy said as Lupin nods sitting down. “You ever heard of legendary figure the grim reaper?" Lupin asked

"Only that they are the ones that guide the souls to the after life," said Winter nervously. "Oh, for the love of... Lupin is the Grim Reaper!" groaned Nathan.

“Yes and I don't mean that metaphorically, theoretically poetically or any other fancy way…. I'm death…straight up…" he would say softly but grimly

"But... Why are you here? How's that even possible?" asked Winter confused. "It's a long story," said Nathan, "Troy? Care to do the honors?"

Troy sat down. “Well aside from being my father… He has come to help us fight back against your stepfather and Prince John. Basically the short story. And to answer your question yes that basically make me the next grim reaper as well. How did you think we were able to know you were close to being killed? Me and my dad have the ability to sense when someone is literally knocking on death's door."

"Then why couldn't you save my mother and father?" asked Winter feeling hurt knowing they could have prevented their deaths, "Why did they have to die?"

“We can't save them sadly it's my dad's job to guide the souls to help with either wanting closure or moving on…disrupting the death process would make everyone immortal and unable to die… It's kinda like with Robin's parents we sadly got into a big battle and someone killed them. Me and dad retreated before taking Robin back with us and raised him with all the other merry men who have grown up as well." Troy said

“For example if you were to have been stabbed and you would have died….there would be nothing I could do to try and bring you back…unless someone with healing abilities like Nathan has can intervene then they are good but sadly Nathan wasn't with us at either of those times" the young wolf added in

"So... If you hadn't been there for me... I would have died?" asked Winter shivering but he relaxed when he felt Robin stroking his back.

Lupin and Troy nodded. “That's correct" they said together

Winter looked down at the table as Robin held him close. Skippy, sensing that the prince was feeling sad again, whispered into Little John's ear. "Is there a way we can cheer him up?"

Little John thinks shaking his head at the moment and Troy held onto the lions hand comfortingly

Back at the castle, Grendel was pacing back and forth in his room. "What is keeping that stupid snake so long?" he growled feeling more and more impatient. He walked up to his mirror saying, "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" The hollow face in the mirror appeared and answered,

"Deep in the woods,

_Though Wintermane be, _

He lives

And is more fair than thee."

The black lion growled angrily. "Sir Hiss failed me!" he snarled and then thought. "It seems I've underestimated the power of the ones who protect him," he said and then went down to the dungeon to meet a shackled up sheriff. "Sheriff of Nottingham, I have a little deal for you," said the king, "I am willing to grant you a second chance to serve me but in exchange, I need you to tell me all that you know about the thief known as Robin Hood. Do we have a deal?"

The sheriff nods but gulps “it's not him you need to worry about." He would say

"Then tell me, who is with him," growled Grendel, "Or do you need another trip to the rack?"

“He had a bunch of men that helps him especially 2 wolves and a dragon and a bear" he would say

"And what is Robin Hood most known for besides being a thief stealing from the rich and giving to the poor?" asked Grendel as he gripped the sheriff's shabby tunic and stood the wolf up with surprising ease as if the fat sheriff weighed next to nothing.

“His wits and archery marksmanship" he would say

"Archery, you say?" asked Grendel thoughtfully, "And how good would you say your skills are?"

“Really good as well" he would say.

"Hmmm.... Well, since this around the time to honor the late King Richard, perhaps I should arrange a royal archery contest," said Grendel, "But what should the prize be?"

“Ummmm I don't know sir…." The sheriff said

Then a thought occurred to him. "That family that was eliminated long ago... The Locksley family," he said, "Do they have anything worth taking?"

“The Golden Arrow…" he would say

Grendel grinned. "Yes, that should be the prize," he said, "If that Robin Hood is who I think he is, he won't be able to resist to reclaim what was once part of his family legacy!"

“Good idea sir" he would say

"And you will be competing against him," said Grendel, "Don't disappoint me again. Or next time, it'll be the hangman's noose for you!"

“Understood sir." He would say softly. Meanwhile Troy Lupin, Nathan winter and Robin were all outside while Lupin, Nathan and Winter chatted Troy and Robin were shooting arrows into targets.

Just then, Skippy came running in holding up a rolled up flyer in his hands. "Robin! Troy!" he called skidding to a stop, "The king's holding a royal archery tournament!" He handed the flyer to Lupin so he could read it to everyone.

Lupin reads it out loud then think “heh of coarse he's using the golden arrow as a prize.." he said with a saddened groan.

"Golden Arrow?" asked Winter confused looking between Robin and Lupin.

“The golden arrow of Locksley. Not just is it the sign for the greatest marksman but a family heirloom to Robin and his family" Troy says.

"Locksley? I've heard about them," said Winter, "They were my father's greatest supporters."

“They were my family," said Robin.

"And there's one other thing," said Skippy, "The king also said that he may allow the winner to ask his magic mirror one question. And the mirror knows everything and only speaks the truth."

Everyone gasped in shock “well what would you ask?" Friar tuck asked Robin.

"I would ask for the identity of the one who destroyed my family," said Robin firmly, "Finally, I'll get justice for King Richard and my family legacy."

Troy and Lupin looked to each other. “We really should tell him dad." Troy said to Lupin in Latin which the others didn't understand.

"Not yet," whispered Lupin to Troy, "It's his choice to decide whether to participate or not. You know we can never change the fates. He will find out soon."

“I know but he knows we are both death. Well you are…I have yet to die and get my full powers" Troy said

"All the more reason not to intervene," whispered Lupin, "Not yet, at least."

Troy nods understanding holding his dad's hand.

"So... When is the tournament?" asked Nathan. "Tomorrow at 10 in the morning," replied Skippy. "In that case, you'd better think of a disguise that helps you with mobility," suggested Nathan to Robin, "If you're going to enter that is."

Everyone thinks and Lupin smiles. “I got an idea." He would say.

“What is it?" asked Winter looking to Lupin and Robin sat next to the lion.

Soon Lupin would get with little John and would build a stork costume. “I'm going to but I'm gonna be there as a protector to Robin" Troy would say

"I wish I could be there to cheer you on," said Winter to Robin, "But my stepfather's bound to see me if I did."

Troy looks to Nathan then back at winter “maybe you can." Troy says

"How?" asked Nathan, "How many other white lions do you know live in this kingdom?"

“No I mean you and him help me. Can be like a guides but we change his fur color" Troy says

"But what about his eyes? Not many lions have blue eyes," said Nathan.

Troy smiles pulling out some glasses with that were tinted. “Put these on"

"What are they?" asked Winter looking them over in his hands.

“They are called shades. It will cover your eyes to hide your eye color but we will change your fur color. You're gonna team up with Nathan as my seeing eye guide. And Nathan will be my translator" Troy says.

"Translator?" asked Nathan confused, "What are you gonna be talking in? Pig Latin?"

“Latin. I taught you that remember" Troy said

"I'm a little ustyray," replied Nathan and everyone started laughing.

Even Troy laughs at it. "And that is why I fell for you," Troy said.

"Uh huh," laughed Nathan and pulled the gray wolf into a kiss, "You know it."

troy kisses back "but i think that would be perfect so you can be be side robin while pretending to help me" troy said with a smile

"Agreed," said Nathan grinning, if we managed to outsmart Prince John the day we met, I'm sure it won't be too much trouble tricking a king."

"Exactly" Robin says with a smile.

Finally, the day of the tournament had arrived. Winter was in his disguise as Nathan was dressed up as an Arabian palace servant to Troy, who was right next to Robin.

"Alright everybody ready?" Troy said pulling the hood over his eyes of the poncho that belonged to Lupin.

"Eadyray," replied Nathan in his Pig Latin character and winked at Troy. "We're ready," said Winter and he gave Robin a kiss on the cheek. "Be careful," he whispered.

"You be careful as well" Robin said with a wink as he took the lead with Winter following holding Troys hand as well a Nathan who smiled at the young lion.

Wintermane looked over to the royal stand and quickly hid behind the dragon. There sitting in the royal box was King Grendel with a very nervous Prince John by his side. Steele came up to the nervous lion secretly patting his shoulder to calm him down. And right next to King Grendel, sitting on a pedestal, was the Golden Arrow resting atop a purple velvet pillow.

After most of the competitors showed up to introduce themselves it was down to robin Troy, Nathan and Winter “ahhhh, King Grendel such an honor to meet you sir!" The stork disguised robin said shaking his hand

"Indeed," said Grendel as he gripped the stork's hand so hard that it made Robin wince in pain before taking it back. "Look but don't touch," said the black lion, "At least not yet. And remember..." He glared at Prince John, "It's important to know when you've been beaten. And may I present the one you'll be competing against: the Sheriff of Nottingham." When the Sheriff came out, the first thing Wintermane noticed was how gaunt and pale the wolf looked. The Sheriff gave a shaky bow to the king as he felt Grendel's eyes glaring down at him as if they were drills piercing his very soul.

"Good to meet you Sheriff, it would be an honor to compete against you," Robin said taking the wolfs hands shaking it

"He doesn't look so good," whispered Nathan to Troy as the Sheriff tried to brush off the stork's grip revealing some cuff marks on the wolf's wrists.

“No, he doesn't.... and look to Prince John…. He seems scared as well." Troy whispered back.

"Grendel's gone too far," whispered Nathan, "But just stay in character for now."

Grendel then looks at the trio. "And just what do you think you guys are doing? Only one entry per person" he would say sternly

Nathan looked to Troy and elbowed him to speak.

"They are my guides...your highness..." Troy said to the king "you see i am blind..." he would say adjusting his quiver on his back

"Iay amay adglay otay eetmay ouyay," replied Nathan as he pressed his hands together and bowed before the king. "What is this idiot sputtering anyway?" growled Grendel recoiling from the dragon.

"He is my husband but does not speak any english." Troy would say

"And you understand his rubbish?" asked Grendel arching an eyebrow.

"He speaks Latin," Troy said, "I speak four languages as well."

"Igpay Atinlay otay ebay actexay," replied Nathan smirking. Grendel just rolled his eyes. "On your way then," he muttered.

Soon, Winter and Nathan took him to his spot. "What did you say hun?" Troy asked

"I said 'I am glad to meet you' first, and then I corrected you saying 'Pig Latin to be exact," whispered Nathan, "And four languages? Really? Boy, are you umbday." Little John, who was dressed as a duke, stifled a chuckle at Troy's expense.

“Hey! Dad taught me. just getting into the character" Troy said with a chuckle.

"That explains a few things," chuckled Nathan, "Leave it to a Grim Reaper to teach you a dead language."

Troy laughs as well.

"Let the tournament begin!" announced Grendel to all contestants.

soon it began and everyone was doing a fair good job most eyes were on the sheriff, the blind wolf and stork. "Ummm you know cuz gotta admit that blind wolf and stork are doing a fairly good job." Prince john says

"Indeed," said Grendel smirking, "Though that blind wolf might not do so well if he had no servant to guide him." He waved Steele over and told him to lead the dragon away to see if Troy would still be able to aim without Nathan's help.

Steele nods and walked over to Nathan. “I'm sorry sr I'm gonna have you step away from the blind wolf," he would say

But Nathan started to speak gibberish making Steele back away confused. Unfortunately, that made Troy miss his target and disqualified him from the tournament.

But when he was tried to be taken away he shook out of the grip after Nathan had already been taken away he made his last shot a perfect bullseye which everyone was surprised even without a guide he made that shot before finally being escorted away

Finally, it was down to the last two contestants: the Sheriff and Robin. Grendel knew he had found the one thing standing between him and Wintermane and he was going to make good on his plan.

After a final shootout robin would take the win and Troy held onto Nathan's hand helped to guided to see the king while also did the others while winter walked up and hugged Robin “good job hun" winter whispered to the disguised fox

Then Friar Tuck came up. "Quick, get behind us before the king gets suspicious," whispered the badger as he cautiously led the lion away. Meanwhile, Robin was escorted directly to the palace all the way up to the king's chamber.

Soon Grendel stood tall “congrats archer you have won you may have your rewards" he would say standing aside and in front of him was the mirror and a face appeared in it “What wouldst thou know, great archer?" It would ask

"I would like to know what happened to the Locksley family," said Robin while Grendel arched an eyebrow at the stork and then nodded to Steele telling him to stand by with his men. The mirror replied,

"Through darkest night and evil plans laid out,

To eliminate Richard's supporters a black lion smites out,"

Robin felt himself grow pale as he knew there was only one black lion in the kingdom and he was standing in the same room with him. "It seems I missed one missing member of the Locksley clan and I don't have to look very far for them, do I... Robin Hood?" snarled Grendel as the soldiers came in and seized the fox.

“How could you!!" Robin growled out in anger as he was being secured and his disguise being ripped off

"Easy," said Grendel, "I knew your family was filled with fools who would easily die for their king... Just like you would die for that wretched prince you've been hiding from me." He waved his hand as the guards took the struggling fox away. "Oh, Steele, bring him down with Prince John and the sheriff. I want them to savor my victory," said Grendel grinning.

Steele looks up at him hesitantly but nods and would do as he asks

Robin soon found himself in the dungeons and in the center, he could see several books and gruesome ingredients on shelves surrounding a bubbling cauldron. Inside the cell with him were Prince John and the Sheriff.

“Well…I guess he finally caught you…" Prince John says glumly

Just then, they heard footsteps and they looked outside to see Grendel making his way to the laboratory. He pulled out a potion book labeled "Disguises" and began mixing several ingredients. At last, he drank the potion and his majestic form was replaced by an ugly white rat in a black, tattered cloak and he had patches of fur missing to make it look like he was suffering plague. "A perfect disguise," he cackled in a raspy voice scaring Prince John so much that he landed in the Sheriff's arms in fright. "And now, a special sort of death for one so fair," he said looking through another book before exclaiming at a section that read: "Poison Apple: One taste of the poisoned apple and the victim's eyes will close forever in the Sleeping Death".

“Why are you doing all this why you so fascinated with trying to kill Winter?" Robin said with a growl

But the rat was already tying a string to the stem of an apple and dipped it into the cauldron. When he pulled it out again, there was an image of a skull upon the skin of the apple before it turned bright red. The rat chuckled before holding it up to Prince John, "Here, have a bite!" he said and laughed when he saw the smaller lion whimpering and squirming trying to get away, "It's not for you... It's for Wintermane."

“HEY! I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!" Robin growled up after whistling loudly

"You want to know why?" growled the rat as he walked over to Robin and back handed him, "It's simple, after he bites into this, his life will be done, and then I'll be fairest in the land once more!" He chuckled before turning to leave.

“Hey, I'm sure that poison has an antidote!" Robin called out.

The rat paused looking back at the fox before hurrying over to the spell book before finding it. "Well, aren't you the clever one," he scoffed before reading, "'The victim of Sleeping Death can be revived only by True Love's kiss.' True love's kiss? Bah!" He slammed the book shut as he glared at Robin, "No fear of that. I already found what can cure him. And the fools that have been protecting him will think he's dead. He'll be buried alive!"

Robin sighed heavily and rested against the wall as the Sheriff and Prince John looked at him. “We're sorry for everything…" John would say

Grendel was still cackling as he went down a passage with a basket full of apples including the poisoned apple.

Back with Winter, Nathan, Troy, Lupin and Little John had taken the white lion back to Friar Tuck's church in hopes that he would be safer if he was someplace else away from Grendel. Winter had cleaned himself up and was playing with Skippy and the rabbit's turtle friend Toby.

“I hope Rob is ok…he's been gone for a while dad…" Troy says softly

"I think we'd better go look for him," said Lupin, "Friar Tuck, you and Skippy can watch over Winter while me, Troy, Nathan and Little John go find Robin. You can handle things while we're away, right?"

“Yeah we got this," Friar Tuck says with a smile, “I know the good lord will also help watch over us as well."

"Thank you, Tuck," said Lupin and then bowed to Winter, "Don't worry," he said, "We'll be back before you know it."

Friar nods smiling and winter hugs the others “please bring him back to me alive" winter says

"We promise," said Nathan before they parted ways.

Friar smiles getting dinner all ready for the trio shortly after they left

Winter offered to help set the table. Skippy came inside and brought along his friend Toby the turtle.

“Thanks for the help" skippy says with a smile

"Of course," said Winter smiling, "To be honest, I would've been lost without you boys." Toby blushed looking at his feet.

Skippy chuckles “don't be bashful Toby" he would say

"I can't help it," said Toby sliding himself into his shell, "He's really nice."

Soon everyone would enjoy a nice lunch of sandwiches which they were able to scrape up.

Suddenly, a little girl rabbit came in. "Friar Tuck! Friar Tuck!" she called running up to the badger and panting heavily, "It's Otto the blacksmith... He was working on some horse shoes when... His hammer missed the anvil... Fell out of his hand... And landed on his foot."

“Oh my goodness I'll be right there! Little Susie can you stay here and watch Winter?" He asked

"Sure thing, Friar," said Susie nodding and then she, Skippy and Toby walked back inside with Winter. However, they were unaware that a certain white rat was outside waiting. He hobbled up with his basket of apples and knocked on the door of the church. Winter answered and nearly jumped out of his fur.

“Hehe sorry, dear boy. I was wondering if you wanted to have an apple or two?" He asked

"That's very nice of you, but I'm afraid I have no money," said Winter blushing. The kids were listening and Skippy peeked outside the window to see who it was.

“Oh you don't have to dear…they are for free" he would say “please don't do it winter…" skippy says with a whisper

"Well... I shouldn't," said Winter. "As you wish," said the rat but then he stumbled, "My heart!" Winter caught him and carefully led the rat into the church to rest on a bench with the rat still rasping, "Thank you, my boy... May I have a drink of water, please?" "Of course," said Winter as he hurried over to a water pump with a small cup. The rat held up a bright red apple smirking.

“We gotta do something Skippy!" Susie says with a whisper

"Right," said Skippy as the rabbits lunged at the rat. The rat cried out in fright stumbling to the ground and spilling the apples. Winter came rushing up. "Kids! Stop it!" he scolded, "Skippy, time out! Shame on you harming a poor old man." The rat looked around and picked up the red apple. "I thought I lost it," he panted softly and when Winter came back, he acted like he was rasping for air before being helped back onto the bench. Skippy, however, was not fooled. "Toby, you stay here and keep an eye on the rat," he said, "Susie, you and me are going back to get Friar Tuck. Hurry!"

Toby nodded soon Susie and skippy went running out the door to get Friar Tuck

The rat drank the cup of water and smiled. "And because you've been so good to poor old Grandpa, I'll share a secret with you," he told winter, "This is no ordinary apple. It's a magic wishing apple. One bite and all your dreams come true." Winter was hesitant and he noticed Toby shaking his head. "Now, there must be something your little heart desires," said the rat, "Perhaps there's someone you love?" Winter remembered Robin. "Well... There is someone," he admitted. "I thought so, I thought so," chuckled the rat, "Old Grandpa knows a young man's heart. Now, make a wish and take a bite." Winter accepted the apple and closed his eyes wishing that he could be with Robin and they would be happy together for the rest of their lives and then he took a bite. But the moment he did, he felt sick and then dizzy before collapsing to the ground lifeless. The rat cackled triumphantly. "Now I'll be fairest in the land!" he declared cackling while Toby hid in his shell in fright of the rat. The rat pulled out a blue potion and then disappeared in a puff of smoke and reappeared in his chambers. The rat disguise melted away to reveal the handsome black lion as before. "Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" he inquired with a smirk on his face. The hollow face in the mirror appeared once more before the king and said,

"My king, with a beauty beyond compare,

You are the fairest of the fair."

Grendel smiled. "Yes! I've won at last!" he laughed.

Robin sighed heavily for he wasn't far from the mirror room listening in to the mirror talk.

"It's done," said the sheriff sadly as he removed his hat to honor Winter. Even Prince John looked sorrowful.

“We need to figure out a way out of here…" Robin says

"You called?" came a voice as two wolves and a dragon poked their heads in.

Nathan Troy Lupin good to see you all! We gotta get out of here" Robin said

"On it," said Nathan, "I'll keep the guards busy while you work on the door." He then made himself look like a tavern boy and sashayed his way down to where two wolf guards were standing. "Hello, boys," he said with a hand on his hip and another behind his head, "Could you help me? I seem to be lost and I'm sure you boys could use some company."

They panted happily making their way to Nathan shoving each other who was gonna be first.

Just then, Little John came up from behind them and crashed their heads together. "Good one," said Nathan giving the bear a high five.

When they looked back Troy just finished picking the locks on Robin's door.

"Glad to have you back," said Little John as he brought the fox into a tight hug but then frowned at Prince John and the Sheriff, "Well, well... Finally getting a taste of your own medicine?"

Troy then stepped in starting to pick their lock as well as they looked down from Little John's comment

"Troy, what are you doing?" asked Little John, "They're the bad guys!"

“Yeah and if they stay here any longer who knows what Grendel will do to them" Troy said

"But... We were the ones who tried to kill Wintermane," replied the Sheriff sadly, "We deserve whatever punishment we're given."

“Honestly…seeing the fear in your eyes and scent. I say you both have been punished enough" Lupin says.

"But... Didn't you hear? Grendel's already finished off Winter... We heard him," said Prince John making the others pause in shock. "What did you say?" asked Nathan in a panic.

“Oh you didn't know?" Prince John said as the others looked at each other in horror.

"We have to get back to Winter quick," said Lupin. "Halt!" yelled a rhino soldier, "Halt, in the king's name or you'll be slain!" "RUN!" yelled Nathan as they all bolted out of the dungeons.

Soon they were being chased all along the grounds. Arrows and spears were flying about trying to get them. Soon they were able to make their escape panting heavily making sure all were accounted for but Troy seemed to be missing.

“Where's Troy?" Asked Nathan looking around in a panic.

Soon he was be found laying against a tree and would collapse in with a few arrows in his side and his clothes soaked in blood.

Nathan hurried over to his side. He held his hands out over the wound and closed his eyes. They started to glow making the cut heal slowly. “Please don't leave me," he whimpered as he could feel his energy nearly fading. The wound was deep and it was taking more of the dragon's energy to heal.

Troy held onto Nathan's wrist stopping him. “Save your energy, hun," he would say with a weak breath

“But… But you're dying," whimpered Nathan through choked sobs.

“Yeah….but I'll be back though…" Troy said with a weak smile

“How can you be sure?" whimpered Nathan as he felt his energy nearly fading away until he had to stop. Tears were rolling down his face as he watched Troy die in his arms.

“Have I ever lied to you?" Troy asked softly

Nathan chuckled a little bit sniffled a little. “Promise you'll come back to me," he said kissing his husband.

Troy kisses back. “I will," Troy said his eyes slowly closing and would go limp into Nathan's embrace

The dragon whimpered still holding onto Troy. Lupin placed a gentle hand on Nathan's shoulder.

Soon after a bit, Troy's nose twitch and when he opened his eyes which were blue now full on red. He now inherited Lupin's full power as well.

Nathan nearly jumped when Troy sat bolt upright in front of him. “Troy?" asked Nathan surprised and on the verge of tears again but this time they were tears of joy.

“Yes, Nathan, it's me" Troy said with a smile “I told you I would be back"

The dragon pulled the wolf into a deep kiss but then slapped his shoulder. "You idiot! I thought you were gone forever and you're telling me you can just resurrect yourself like it was nothing?" he snapped but then hugged Troy, "I'm so glad you're back. Don't you ever scare me like that again!"

“I told you I was going to. Since I'm a halfblood from the grim reaper, I now have 100% full powers of the grim reaper and dad would step down and I become the new grim reaper" Troy said with a smile

"Uh, you said you were 'halfblood' from the Grim Reaper. Half!" replied Nathan bluntly. "Uh, excuse me?" replied Prince John, "As much as we like to hear more, we have Wintermane to save."

“Yes, let's go!" Troy said leading the way soon the group raced through the forest.

Back at the church, Friar Tuck had arrived on the scene but he and the two rabbit children were heart broken when they saw Winter's lifeless body on the ground and next to him was the poisoned apple with a bite in it.

Soon everyone began crying when Robin remembered something and looked to Troy to see if he would check him and Troy nods looking over winter and nods to Robin which drew a smile from the fox and would pray that this would work and picked up the lion laying him in bed as everyone watched on as he would gently kiss the lion on the lips.

At first nothing happened and everyone bowed their heads sadly... Until Winter slowly opened his eyes and sat up in bed. Skippy looked up and gasped, "Look! He's alive!" "It's a miracle!" exclaimed Friar Tuck.

“That's because he was never dead. Just in a deep sleep," Troy says softly

"I heard all that was going on around me, but I couldn't move, couldn't speak... Nothing," said Winter shivering and he looked to Robin, "You saved me."

“I'm sorry we couldn't get here sooner." Robin said.

"I think I know a way to take the throne away from Grendel," said Winter, "And expose him for his crimes."

“Whatcha had in mind?" Prince John asked

"I'm going to face him... with all the people by my side," said Winter, "When my father was alive, everyone was free and respected. Now, they're being treated like slaves under Grendel's rule. It's time we rose up against his tyranny."

“Good idea. Maybe we can mess with him as well" Troy said looking at winter who saw his blue eyes were replaced with red now just like Lupin

"You know he's gonna try and stop you with his army, right?" asked Nathan. "I know... But those soldiers were good men once," said Winter, "I just hope I can reach out to them."

“Ummm I maybe be able to help with that" Prince John said standing front and center but avoids eye contact with both Lupin and Troy for he was still scared by them

"How so?" asked Winter looking to the older lion.

“I ummm have a boyfriend that's tired of Grendel and could maybe find soldiers tired of him as well." He would say

"I just hope I can reach out to them. Most of them I knew when we were all children," said Winter feeling hopeful.

“Well if we bring them here and gather them together can put up a good resistance." Prince John says

"Grendel will know right away that something's wrong," said Winter, "I'll be going myself... Tomorrow morning."

“I'll go with you as protection." Troy said stepping up

"No," said Winter, "I have to face him alone. You and Robin can stand by with your bows and arrows just in case. I'm gonna reach out to the soldiers right in front of the king to show he holds no power over any of us."

Robin nods and so does Troy. “Ok I'll still be on stand by. But I'm still getting the feeling me and dad will be making our presence known to somebody." Troy says

"And you will... Once Grendel realizes it takes kindness and bravery to lead a kingdom, not fear or force," said Winter.

Troy smiles walking over to Winter. “Well you know how to summon us" Troy said with a smile

Winter nodded and looked over to Robin. The fox held the lion close kissing him deeply. "I was afraid I would never see you again," whispered Winter softly.

“Me too" Robin says with a smile.

Later, Winter and Robin were alone in a room back at Nathan and Troy's cottage. The two of them were in bed kissing each other deeply and passionately. "So... What did you ask the mirror?" asked Winter softly.

“Who took out my family…" he said with a sigh. “And it told me it was Grendel.."

"I'm so sorry," said Winter as he stroked Robin's cheek, "What do you plan to do now?"

“Help you get closure as well. And with our friends on our side we can do it" he would say.

"And what will come after?" asked Winter looking up at the fox, "I can't imagine my life without you in it."

“What ever the next heir has in mind." Robin says

Winter smiled and kissed Robin deeply. "Oh, I almost forgot to ask," said the white lion, "Whatever happened to Sir Hiss?"

“He's with Lupin and troy right now they are creating a plan b in case your plan falls through as a precaution." He said

"I see... Just how did they manage to make him turn over a new leaf?" asked Winter feeling curious.

“Well when you experience near death it really changes you. How you think things and the choices you have made in the past." He would say. “Honestly if it wasn't for Lupin I'm sure I wouldn't know what I would have done or if I were even to be around." He would add

"I'm glad you are," said Winter, "Because I don't want to lose you again."

“You won't. You got amazing friends looking over us" Robin said with a smile

"And it's thanks to them I found my one true soulmate," said Winter as he kissed Robin deeply.

Robin kisses back. “Same with me as well."

"I love you, Robin Hood," whispered Winter as he let the fox lay on top of him.

“Mmmmm and I love you too Wintermane" he would whisper back resting his head on his chest

Winter purred softly and he moaned when he felt Robin kissing along his chest and sucked on his emerging cock.

Robin huffed happily as he would bob his head up and down along winter's shaft

"Robin... That feels so good," whimpered Winter as his cock leaked pre and his tail hole began winking at the fox.

Robin chuckles pulling off rubbing Winter's hole.

The white lion shivered when he felt Robin's cock teasing his puckered ring. Winter looked up at the fox with pleading eyes. "Please... I'm begging you... Take me as yours forever more," he begged softly and Robin felt there was a hint of sincerity in the lion's words.

Robin smiles nodding and pushes his cock into the lion hole slowly and deeply.

Winter moaned and panted when he felt Robin enter and go into a steady rhythm humping the lion with his cock. The white lion leaned forward and kissed the fox deeply to show how much love he had to give in that moment of passion.

Robin kisses back as he kept at his passionate pace.

"Robin," whimpered Winter breathlessly as he slowly stroked his cock to keep up with the fox, but Robin stopped his head. They both knew that the fox wanted to return the favor to the lion and Winter nodded to allow Robin to continue. "Breed me, my love," he panted, "I want you to fill me with your love."

Robin smiles nodding and would resume thrusting into his lion lover deeply.

"Please breed me!" whimpered Winter as the fox cock was probing his prostate and urging his climax closer, "I'm gonna cum!"

“Me too!!" Robin moans out loudly.

"Cum inside me!" pleaded Winter as he held onto the fox and yowled when he felt Robin's knot lock them together.

Robin huffs happily and groans cumming hard into the lion.

Winter whimpered and came with the fox and panted as he felt his seed spurt out at last. He looked up at Robin and kissed him lovingly.

Robin smiles kissing him back

"I wish I had a ring with me," said Winter softly as he stroked Robin's head gently, "I'd ask you to marry me when this is over."

“Me too" whispered Robin.

Winter smiled purring and nuzzling the fox in his arms. An hour later, Robin's knot finally shrank out of Winter's hole.

Robin smiles snuggling Winter

The lion was still asleep but still they held each other close not wanting to be separated from the other.... That is until they could hear Little John calling out for supper.

They soon got themselves decent and would head down to make dinner.

The next morning, Winter made his way to the castle but stopped at the entrance to the village where everyone stopped and looked at him. For a long time, nobody moved.

They stared at him not sure of what was going on.

But then a young mule came forward. "I remember you," he said, "You were the one who gave me this four leaf clover." He held up a locket that contained an old four leaf clover inside. Winter smiled knowing he had found someone who remembered the good he and his parents did back when the white lion was just a young cub.

“Are you finally bringing peace back to the kingdom?" The mule asked

"It's what I hope to do," said Winter as he held out a hand, "But I can't do it alone. Will you join me?"

He nods taking Winter's hand and soon other villagers joined in walking with the lion.

They all walked together until the reached the palace gates where some soldiers lowered aimed their spears at Winter. "I believe you've been looking for me," he said to them. But then, they parted as the king, with a smug grin approached. "Actually, I think it's you who's looking for me," replied Grendel with a grin, "So, this was your plan to replace me? By rounding up a group of peasants in hopes they'd have the courage to rise up against me? Pathetic."

“Yeah! We had enough," yelled a shaggy dog.

"Is that so?" asked Grendel smirking as he produced a rose in his hand, "Beautiful, isn't it? Fragrant, natural, but frail." He then turns it into ash in his hands before creating a diamond dagger in his hand. "Perfection, power and beauty," he said, "That's what defines the kind of ruler this kingdom needs." He walked over to Winter and placed the dagger in the white lion's hands. "You want your kingdom back? Take it," he sneered leaving the dagger in Winter's grasp, but the prince hesitated. Grendel could see his stepson was faltering. "They're waiting," he mumbled but Winter ended up lowering the dagger. Grendel snatched the dagger back. "Guards, hold him," he said as two rhinos held the white lion in place. Grendel handed the dagger to a wolfdog soldier and said, "Let the people watch him die."

The wolf dog held the dagger in his hand looking at it then at winter then back to Grendel in uncertainty

"Balto! You were once the best messenger in the kingdom," said Winter making the wolfdog stop in his tracks and making Grendel glare at the white lion. "You have a wife named Jenna," continued Winter, "And your sons and daughters were there to help you whenever they could growing up and your son Kodi took over for you." The wolfdog looked up at the crowd to see a red female husky looking at him. "Copper, your father was a blacksmith," added Winter to a hound to the other side, "You would go hunting with your uncle Chief and then return to take care of your father, Otto." "Enough," growled Grendel but Winter carried on. "You were all good men once," the white lion went on, "You all have your families and lives-" "I said ENOUGH!" shouted Grendel and turned to the guard Balto, "Kill him!"

Balto turned to him and huffed throwing the knife down. “No… No more of this. Your reign of terror and you trying to kill your stepson is over," Balto snarled and the black lion growled and went to back hand Balto but a large black and white hand stopped him. “He's right. This ends here!" Steele says with a growl.

Grendel snarled as he picked up the dagger and lunged at Winter but then an arrow shot the dagger out of his hand making the diamond blade shatter.

“You are outnumbered Grendel.." A snake came slithering up huffing angrily.

Grendel looked behind him to see Robin Hood holding a bow and then locking another arrow ready to aim. And there behind him was the rest of his gang. "No... NO!" growled Grendel as he retreated back inside the palace and hurried to his mirror. "Come on!" called Winter to Troy, Lupin and Robin.

Grendel had made it to his room and he was furious. "It isn't true!" he roared in anger and looked to the magic mirror, "I am still the fairest." The hollow face in the mirror appeared to the king and said,

"Famed is thy charms, but it goes no further than the skin.

For Wintermane, beauty comes from deep within.

And so, my king, at last you see

He will always be more fair than thee."

Grendel looked back behind him to see Winter standing with the two wolves and Robin by his side. "YOU LIE!" roared Grendel angrily as he picked up his scepter and smashed into the mirror shattering it into pieces.

But instead of falling to the floor, the shards floated in mid air. Grendel looked at himself as he felt himself age and decay before them all. He looked at Winter one last time angrily reaching for him before turning into dust and being absorbed into the mirror. The moment Grendel was gone, the glass shards retreated back to the mirror frame repairing itself.

“There is no guiding that soul sadly he chose his fate." Troy would say

"So... Is it all over?" asked Winter looking to Lupin hoping he would give a confirmation on Grendel.

Lupin would nod “Troy was being a bit cryptic but it's pretty much all over" the older wolf would say

Winter looked over to Robin and the two embraced each other before pulling Lupin and Troy in. Soon, Nathan and Little John came into the room. "Group hug, people!" laughed Little John as he wrapped his big arms around them all.

Everyone laughed and hugged each other

A few days later, both Wintermane and Robin stood at the altar together while Friar Tuck resided their wedding. Nathan was sitting next to Troy with tears in his eyes. "I just love happy endings," he sniffled.

“I know you do hun" Troy said with a chuckle holding Nathan close

Soon, Skippy came up presenting the rings to Winter and Robin. "How romantic," sighed Susie watching the two newlyweds. However, a baby bunny just scrunched up her nose at her big sister. "Sissy stuff," she muttered while holding a stuffed toy in her arms.

The couple presented their vows and would slide the rings on each others fingers

And after they said "I do", Friar Tuck declared them King and husband. At once, Winter and Robin wrapped their arms around each other kissing deeply.

Soon everyone stood up and bursted out in applause

And then everyone entered the village square and at once music played. Winter held Robin close as they started to dance together.

Everyone smiled watching them as they enjoyed their first dance together

Winter smiled as he snuggled into Robin's embrace sneaking a kiss to his lips.

Robin purrs happily kissing him back

"You think our families would be proud of how far we've come?" asked Winter softly.

"Of course they would" Robin says with a smile

Winter smiled kissing Robin once more before looking over to see Troy was dancing with Nathan. "You know, there's something romantic about fighting the good fight to protect the ones you love," said Nathan to the wolf in front of him.

Troy nods smiling big holding the dragon close to him

The dragon smiled and rested his head on Troy's chest. "I love you," he whispered to the wolf above him.

“I love you too" Troy said with a smile

The two of them kissed deeply while Lupin stood beside Little John and smiled.

Lupin pulled the big bear close and look and saw Steele and prince john dancing together both looking super happy "i think our scare set prince john straight" Lupin says

"Yep... Or maybe Steele rearranged his insides," joked Little John softly.

"Or a bit of both heh" Lupin smiles

"Feel like letting me in on some?" asked Little John as he reached back to grope Lupin's rear.

Lupin chuckles "thats a dangerous game your playing big bear. i can be a bit brutal if i choose to be hehe" he chuckles

"Uh... I'm still bigger than you," whispered Little John smirking noticing he was taller than the wolf.

“Yeah, you maybe bigger, but still a bit stronger," he would say.

"What? You trying to say that you find me unbearable?" teased Little John with a smug grin.

Lupin rolls his eyes chuckling.

Little John smirked and pulled the wolf into a deep kiss.

Lupin kissed him back.

"How about we take this to one of the rooms?" whispered Little John, "I have a feeling Robin and Winter will have the same idea."

“Sounds good to me," Lupin would say.

Little John led the way through the castle till they found themselves in a private room. As soon as the door was closed behind him, Both males resumed their kiss as the bear pinned Lupin down on the bed.

“Hehe I see why Troy enjoyed being with you all." Lupin said with a laugh

"And I see where he gets his sexy body," said Little John as he lifted up Lupin's tunic kissing and licking along the wolf's body.

Lupin moans happily huffing deeply

The bear then removed his clothes making himself look "bear" naked before the white wolf.

“Mmmmmmmm damn I always heard bigger is better but damn not lying" he laughed

"Wanna give it a taste first before riding it?" asked Little John as he lay back on a massive bed and spread his legs apart for the wolf to see the bear's cock, balls and tail hole.

Lupin huffs happily climbing up onto the bear stroking his cock

Little John moaned as he felt his cock leaking pre into Lupin's mouth. "That's it," he huffed, "Suck that cock."

Lupin moans happily slurping and sucking on Little John's cock.

"That's it, Wolf Daddy," moaned Little John humping into Lupin's mouth, "Get a taste from Little John."

Lupin moans deeply in joy

The bear smirked as he reached over Lupin and began fingering the wolf's tail hole. He looked up and smirked when he saw two other figures enter. "Starting the fun without us?" asked Nathan entering the room and the dragon watched as Troy began rimming his own father.

Troy moans happily as he kept on licking and rimming Lupin

Nathan smiled as he settled in Little John's lap and began kissing the big bear. "You always know how to give the best bear hugs," whispered Nathan while they kissed before Lupin lifted his head to kiss his son-in-law.

"mmmmm you know it" Little John said with a smile

"You too, Wolf Daddy," said Nathan as he kept on kissing Lupin before the white wolf turned to kiss Troy. "So... Who wants to ride me first?" asked Little John smirking.

“Mmmmmmmm… How about you babe while me and daddy have some fun stretching papa bear out hehe" Troy smirked

Nathan grinned. "My pleasure," he replied and moaned as he lowered himself onto Little John's hard cock.

Little John huffs then moans loudly feeling both Lupin and Troy enter him

The dragon moaned as he road the bear's cock and kissed Little John deeply. Nathan felt fur from behind and noticed Troy was behind him. He smiled and leaned back to kiss his husband deeply. "Love you, hun," he panted.

"Mmmm love you too babe." Troy moaned as the wolf duo thrusted into the bear making him moan loudly in joy

"Oh... You boys really put the dog in 'hot dog'," panted Little John, "You're gonna make me fill this little dragon up." Nathan grinned as he turned to face the bear. "Then what are you waiting for?" he asked grinning and moaned as he felt the bear thrust faster into his tail hole.

This only made the wolves go faster as well

"Cum inside me boys," panted the bear, "I wanna fill this little dragon cutie up good." Nathan smiled and kissed Little John deeply

Little John kisses back soon felt his ass being flooded by the wolves and would soon cum hard into Nathan's ass.

The dragon cried out when he felt his insides fill up and he came onto Little John's chest. He panted as he snuggled into the bear's embrace breathing heavily. "That was good," he said grinning until he looked up at a clock and gasped, "Oh, shoot! Robin and Winter are gonna be leaving soon! We need to get down there for a proper send off!"

Everyone nods in agreement quickly cleaning up to go watch Winter and robin send off

At last, they were standing outside ready by a waiting carriage. Skippy was climbing up to the driver's seat. "Gee, Skippy," said Toby, "How come you're going?" "Well, King Wintermane and Robin are gonna have kids. Someone's gotta keep an eye on things," explained Skippy as Little John was already there when both the white lion and fox came out with everyone throwing rice into the air.

Troy was resting against the church with his dad as Nathan was throwing rice with the others

Nathan smiled as Winter stopped and hugged him. "Thank you," he whispered the dragon. The white lion smiled at the two wolves who smiled back at him before Winter and Robin got into the carriage. The lion poked his head out and threw the bouquet to the crowd only to have Prince John catch it. He turned and looked to the side as Steele snuggled up to him and the prince blushed. As they rode off together, Wintermane and Robin Hood shared one more kiss with each other. They would both grow to be wonderful leaders with many children. And they lived happily ever after.

The End.
