“After reading, please print your name, then sign and date next to it” the clerk requested. Toby barely glanced at the form, eagerly signed it and slid it back. I’ll keep them safe for you”

“We’re…going to go now” I said cautiously.

“Well, that was in the waiver! You guys did sign it after all, not our fault if you don’t bother to actually read it!” the clerk said defensively.

“Could have warned us at least!” I said reproachfully.

“Sure, bathrooms over there. There’s a shower in it you can use” the clerk offered.
