Feyrahl, SoFurry Edition

Strengthening Bonds, Ch 3.5

Mac probably should have been worried about leaving the castle, especially since he'd heard numerous times about dangerous beasts inhabiting the forests of the empire but, his hand in Rolin's paw provided him all the reassurance that things would be okay. Rolin was a Lord Ranger, and, presumably, a master of the wilderness. That, and, Mac reminded himself, the Lynx-Bear was his friend... or perhaps something more.

Their time taveling through the darkness of the trees was scarely more than the time it took them to leave the palace. Peering back through the forest, Mac was almost sure he could just make out some flickers of torchlight from the castle walls. Rolin slowed when Mac did, then came to a stop. "Something wrong, handsome?"

Mac looked back to his companion, raising his head upward so he could meet the ranger's gaze. "Just... haven't really been outside the walls in awhile."

Rolin chuckled, giving his hand an ever-so-light squeeze. "You're with me, Mac... nothing's going to happen to you that you don't want happening."

The Human immediately felt his cheeks explode into a powerful blush; he'd almost thought that he might have misinterpreted the invitation to elope off to a private area but the phrasing of the Lynx-Bear's statement left little doubt. Even so, he tenderly probed at what vagueness remained. "Nothing I don't want happening?"

The Ranger chuckled warmly. "I can smell you're interested, handsome... it's alright if your nose can't smell back; I am. Very. I may not be suited to a life among nobility, but I am a gentleman, and if, at any time you say 'no', then that will be our limit."

Mac was almost completely sure at that point, but his brain wouldn't let that microscopic shred of doubt remain. "You're talking about... sex... right?"

Rolin came to a stop, rotating around so he could take hold of the Human's other hand, one per paw, and he crouched down so that their eyes were level. "Did I misread things, Mac? Is that something you would be opposed to, because, if so, I--"

Before he could second-guess himself, Mac moved forward and pressed his lips to Rolin's muzzle, silencing the Ranger. The Lynx-Bear happily shut up, immediately returning the affection, even going so far as to pick the Human up so the kiss could continue. When it finally broke, Mac clarified. "I'm okay with it... in case that wasn't clear."

Chuckling, Rolin winked. "Yes. That was readily apparent, my friend."

Rather than hand-in-paw, by that point the Ranger just continued on into the forerst carrying Mac as if his weight was negligible, cradled in the Lynx-Bear's arms, one of his own around Rolin's neck. The journey was not much longer; they ultimately arrived at a clearing where a small, quaint hunt sat, squatting amidst the greenery. It reminded the Human of a woodland cabin-- mostly because it was built with logs but also because... well... it was a cabin. "What is this place?"

As they approached the door to the dwelling, Rolin finally set him down, pulling a simple metal key off of a loop of twine he wore around his neck. The Ranger unlocked the door. "Two generations ago the royal family gifted this part of the forests to my grandfather, who, in turn, gave it to my father. Now it's mine... when I choose to use it."

Mac followed the Lynx-Bear into the small dwelling, waiting by the open door as Rolin moved to the hearth. Kneeling down beside it, the Ranger gatherd together some kindling and used some flint and steel to light it with a spark. He blew on it once... then again... then gestured, murmuring softly as a soft-but-steady stream of wind quickly assisted the tiny flame to grow into a full sized fire. Only once the flame crackled happily in the hearth was Mac able to take in a full view of his latest surroundings. "This is something..."

The interior of the cabin had a cozy feel to it. The decor was casual and simple; the furniture looked functional and comfortable; Rolin-- Mac froze when he noticed that the Lynx-Bear had already taken off his coat and tunic. Offering an encouraging smile, the Ranger stated "With the fire going it gets plenty warm in here... plus I have fur." Stepping even closer, he pulled the Human to him, allowing Mac to appreciate the thick, coarse fur by being envolped in it. "Besudes, isn't the goal ultimate goal for tonight to be free of them anyway, Handsome?"

It was a statement that Mac couldn't ignore... especially when the paws on his back gave his shirt a gentle tug, untucking it. He didn't resist as the Lynx-Bear pulled his shirt the rest of the way, and then stripped it right off of him by pulling it over his head. Mac couldn't help but laugh. "I could have just unbuttoned it!"

Rolin paused, looking at the shirt he was holding and the buttons keeping the front closed. He shrugged, carefully folded it, and placed it on a small, squat table to his left. "All methods are valid so long as they achieve the goal."

Mac smirked. "Don't let my chemistry teacher hear you saying that."

The two wasted no time coming together again and, as he was engulfed in Rolin's fur a second time, he wrapped his arms as far around the Ranger as far as they could go considering their size difference. Mac simply stood there, in Rolin's arms, enjoying the feel of the closeness... but it wasn't long before he felt large, clawed paws batting at the back of his jeans. The Ranger ended up laughing at himself. "I keep forgetting your breeches do not have a button for a tail." <<>>

Mac smirked when he felt the Lynx-Bear jump when his own hands went down between their bodies and pulled the tied draw-string free, loosening the Ranger's leggings. "We both have something in the front though. Do yours have a button on the--" he froze when Rolin reached behind himself and, with an audible 'snick', caused his trousers to fall straight to the floor, leaving the Lynx-Bear completely naked before the Human.

The young man honestly didn't know what to expect to see hidden beneath the Ranger's clothes and, without preconceptions, was not surprised, yet he was still somewhat relieved that the Lynx-Bear's downments seemed to be reasonable Human analogues. He was so focused on Rolin's nudity, however, that he didn't realize that his host had undone the button on his jeans until he was bodily hefted into the air, two of the Ranger's toes pinning the cuff of his pants leg to the floor while he was lifted out of them and, doubly-surprised, he found himself sailing through the air and onto the fur-covered bed.

The mattress didn't have springs in it, yet his impact was absorbed well by whatever had stuffed it. He landed with a whomp, head spinning by the short flight. Rolin was beside him in an instant, resting a paw on his chest. "My apologies... I wasn't too rough with you, was I Mac?

The Human let out a hesitant chuckle. "I... just wasn't expected to be thrown around. A little warning, next time, please?"

The Ranger nodded, leaning forward to nuzzle the top of his head, and then brought his muzzle down to rub it alongisde Mac's face-- a Feyrahlian kiss equivalent. The young man closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of the intimate act. He found more of Rolin's bulk pressing against him, urging him onto his back as the Lynx-Bear settled atop him. Although the Ranger was heavy, the majority of his weight was distributed to his paws and his knees, but Mac didn't miss the fact that he was all but trapped beneath his host, who peered down at him, a warm smile on his muzzle.

Despite the obvious position of dominance, Rolin's voice was surprisingly mellow and not at all imposing. "How is this, Handsome... is this alright?"

On his back, Mac peered up at the huge Lynx-Bear all but engulfing him. He smiled, one hand reaching up to press into his companion's chest; the fingers disappeared immediately, lost amidst the thick forest of fur. His second started lower, brushing across the shaggy fur of Rolin's belly. "This is... really nice... actually." He craned his neck so he could rub his cheek against the Ranger's, his lower hand sliding lower yet. He offered the Lynx-Bear's own question back to him. "How's this?"

Rolin's response was a deep, enthusiastic, bestial rumble as his hips moved fowrard, filling the Human's searching fingers with a healthy serving of rigid flesh. Letting out a shaky breath, the Ranger's voice came out as a rumbling chuckle. "It was good... but even better now."

It was a long night, but neither complained.
