#4 of Coming of Age

Blah blah blah you know the drill. If you're not 18, take responsibility.

And on with the story!

As Draco had glided down in circles towards the cave he currently resided in, dragons of all ages looked out from their own caves. At first, all they saw was another dragon. Then they looked closer and saw there was a human on his back.

Some were outraged, some were confused, some just didn't care. One of the more curious ones flew down to the cave entrance and coughed quietly. Quietly for dragons, anyway. It would wake almost anything smaller up.

Upon hearing the other dragon coughing, Brian stirred in his sleep slightly. Eventually waking up, he shakily sat up yawning and stretching slightly. He rubbed his eyes sleepily and looked up at Draco.

"Are we ... there yet?"

His voice was somewhat scratchy, a small side effect from just waking up. He was also feeling kinda drowsy. Apparently he didn't have much sleep when being locked in the castle tower.

The other dragon rolled his eyes. "If you mean the valley of the dragons, yes. Now, may I ask what you're doing here?"

Draco opened his eyes when Brian spoke. Just as he was about to answer, the other dragon spoke. Draco looked over and sat up slowly. "You want to know why he's here? I brought him here."

The other dragon was even more confused. "Isn't this valley only supposed to be for dragons..."

Draco sighed and shook his head. "No. Some others believe that, but no. Anyone who can get here is welcome. He's my friend, and he's staying." He shrank, pulling Brian off his back in the process. He whispered to Brian. "Don't tell him you're my mate. It won't go over well."

Brian was surprised at how rude some of the dragons were being. But it shouldn't come as a surprise; there were bound to be some. After Draco whispered to him, Brian nodded his head, understanding what Draco meant.

The other dragon shrank too. "Well, then. Allow me to welcome you both. I'm Jeraso." He stuck out his hand and Draco shook it.

"Well met, Jeraso. I'm Draco, and this is my friend Brian."

Later, Draco and Brian began telling Jeraso some of their story. It was mostly edited; all they really said was that Brian loved dragons and that the Baron was an asshole.

"And so that's why I brought him with me. His father was more than a little bit cruel and unusual..."

As Brian and Draco spoke with the dragon Jeraso, Brian could feel eyes on him. They were deep inside a cave that apparently Draco's family owned, so they didn't have to spend time looking for one. Even though they were far from the entrance he felt like he was being watched, which made him feel very uncomfortable. Hours passed as the two dragons talked and Brian, as he sat next to Draco the entire time, began to fall asleep. Leaning against him lightly his eyes closing, he let out a small sigh.

"Today has been a long day ..."

Draco looked down at Brian, who was falling asleep against his scales. ~Must be tired. ~ Jeraso noticed Draco's glance and stood up. Draco stayed seated, mostly so as to not shift Brian too much. "Well thank you for coming, Jeraso. I would stand, but..." he gestured to Brian. Jeraso smirked and shook his head. They shook hands and Jeraso turned and flew back to his own cave. Dragons converged on his cave immediately, wanting to know everything.

Draco, still in his cave, laid back and held Brian on his chest. "Tomorrow, Brian." He whispered. "We'll go exploring." He stroked Brian's hair slowly, falling asleep himself.

Brian only stirred slightly in his sleep as Draco shifted him around so he'd be laying on the dragons chest.

He let out a content sigh after the moving was all over, beginning to get comfortable. As he lay there sleeping he had many different dreams, all of them peaceful. He woke up as the sun rose, it shining in through the caves entrance.

He yawned slightly, sitting up and stretching. He looked to see that Draco was still asleep, he giggled slightly and placed a small kiss on the dragon's cheek. He then proceeded to get off the dragons chest, and then sat there waiting for the dragon to wake so they could spend the day together in their new home.

Draco woke up slowly. He felt around for Brian and, upon finding him, kissed him on the forehead. He then pulled Brian into a hug. "Good morning, Brian." Draco stood up and walked to the cave entrance. He looked back at Brian. "You ready to go explore? There are some pretty... ahem, interesting plants around here. Nothing deadly, though."

Brian smiled as Draco wrapped him in a warm scaly hug. He returned the hug, his face blushing lightly from the kiss. When Draco had risen, Brian got up and followed. When Draco suggested they explore, he nodded.

"Ok, that sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I bet I'd be able to meet a lot of other nice dragons."

He smiled and giggled slightly, looking forward to exploring with Draco.

Draco frowned slightly. "Well, not all of them will be as nice as I am. In fact, most of them will consider my bringing you here an outrage until I prove that you're not working for any dragon-slayers." Draco shivered. "Ugh." A few seconds later, he brightened up. "On the plus side, We should be able to keep you away from them pretty easily; there's a lot of land around here, or so I've heard."

He walked over to Brian and turned around, kneeling. "Hop on."

Brian sighed slightly hearing what Draco said, the idea of other dragons hating him, because they think he's a dragon slayer did kinda hurt. But he shook off the feeling, deciding that as long as he was with Draco he should be fine. When Draco kneeled down motioning for Brian to climb on, he happily smiled and then got onto the dragons back, smiling as they began exiting the cave.

"So, what kind of things do Dragons do for fun around here? If it involves flying, I probably won't be able to participate because of my lack of wings. Anyway... also, is there anything here to eat? Like fruits or something? I'm beginning to feel kinda hungry ..."

Draco cocked his head back to look at Brian. "Nah. Most of the stuff we do for fun doesn't require wings at all. But the longer lasting ones do. But that's beside the point; let us get you something to eat." Draco ran towards the entrance, holding Brian's arms around his neck. He jumped out into thin air and began to glide. ~Now lets see... where are those... Ah. There they are! ~ Draco thought to himself as they began to decend in slow circles towards a clearing containing a lake and a multitude of fruits and vegetables. A few deer ran off as Draco landed.

He set Brian down and turned to hug his friend. "I'm gonna go hunt while you grab what you want and I'll bring back some meat. Cooked, of course." As Draco turned and ran off into the forest, regaining his size, he didn't notice the fresh dragon footprints in the dirt.

Brian smiled and waved to Draco as he flew off to gather meat. When the dragon was out of view he went around the clearing and proceeded to gather different fruits and vegetables. He went about putting them into two different piles; one for him, and one for Draco. He filled his pile with mostly fruits like peaches, strawberries, watermelon pieces, plums, pears. He added a few veggies like corn, carrots, and onions.

He made sure that he gave Draco an even amount of both, because he wasn't sure if he liked veggies or fruit. Soon there were two piles, a small one for himself, and a large one for Draco. He wasn't sure if Draco would be in his full dragon form, or his smaller one. so he made sure to get enough food for his larger form.

After he finished, he sat down and looked up at the sky, looking around and waiting for Draco to return.

A few minutes after Draco left, three younger dragons entered the clearing. They didn't see Brian and he didn't see them as they slid into the water. After a while, one of them noticed Brian and nudged his friends. "Look over there! A human! How'd he get in here?"

Since they were young and had only heard rumors about humans before, they decided to find out more for themselves. They had all heard about the different humans and how they all hated dragons, so they decided to have some fun.

They walked up behind Brian and expanded to their full forms. "Greetings, human." One of them said right behind him.

Brian jumped slightly hearing someone call to him, and saw 3 small dragons approaching. They looked somewhat young, since they were smaller than Draco. He smiled and waved and walked over to them.

"Hello!" he called, soon standing right in front of them. "Hey there, my names Brian. I came here with my Gr-I mean ... my friend, Draco. He just left to gather some meat so we could get something to eat, you want to stay and eat with us, I'm sure there will be plenty of food."

He smiled again towards the dragons, wanting to let them know he was a friend, and not there to cause trouble.

The dragons frowned. Weren't humans supposed to be afraid of them?

They stepped away, whispering to each other.

After a minute, two of them walked away into the woods in opposite directions while the third came back. "You said your name was Brian? Nice to meet you. My names Argon. My friends were Genes and Jericho, but they had to... go take care of something."

That something was sneaking up behind Brian and lifting him up into the air by his feet. Argon smiled and stepped forward. "You don't belong here. Only dragons may inhabit this place. Be gone." He took a breath in, ready to cook himself a meal.

Draco came barreling out of the woods, crashing into Argon. "NO!" He quickly lashed out at the other two, hitting one in the arm and the other in the stomach. He put out his arms and caught Brian as he fell, his eyes draconic slits as he growled at the three who lay injured on the ground. "He was being truthful, you... you..." he closed his eyes and took a breath.

When he opened his eyes again, they were mostly normal. "I'll forgive you this time, but I will not be so lenient next time." The three looked at him with a mixture of anger and fear as they took off.

After what had just occurred, Brian had gone into slight shock. He had tried being friendly, but these dragons acted just like Draco's father when they first met. He sat there in Draco's arms shaking and staring off into space. He shook his head snapping out of it and looked up at Draco, and let out a sigh as the others left.

"Well ... I guess they're not staying for lunch then ..." He wanted to stay optimistic. He had hoped maybe that once it was known he was there with Draco, the other dragons would consider being nice to him.

When Draco set him down he dusted his clothing off and then sat down

"So .... uh ... how did the hunting go?"

Draco stared off after the retreating dragons for a second, a low growl exiting his throat. When Brian spoke to him, however, he turned and forced himself to smile. "Hunting went great." He walked over to the tree line and walked back with what looked like half a deer on a thick branch. He grabbed two others and put together a spit, quickly roasting the grosser looking parts of deer since he knew Brian would be slightly disgusted by.

When the deer was done, he cut up pieces of it and laid it on the ground. "Yeah, I guess I scared off those others. Oh well. We'll find someone else." He saw the two piles of fruit and vegetables. He pointed to them as he looked at Brian. "What's with the two piles?"

"One for you and one for me ... I wasn't sure what ... you liked so, um ... I uh ..."

He let a sigh; he was still shaking slightly from what had happened. He looked over at Draco wanting to say something, but wasn't sure of what to say. He took some of the cooked meat and began eating to break the silence. He reached over to the piles and grabbed a few apples and held them out to Draco.

"um .. here ..."

He forced him self to smile, so to not let Draco worry.

~~~~~~~~
*elsewhere in the valley*
The three dragons limped home where they laid down to lick their wounds and brood over what had occurred.
~~~~~~~~

Draco's heart melted once more for his brave mate. He hugged Brian, rubbing his cheek on the top of Brian's head. "Looks like you weren't fazed by those bullies. Good for you." He took a few of the apples and, tossing them in the air, blew a small flame over them.

He caught them as they fell. "Ah, toasted apples, my favorite." He tossed them, one at a time, into the air to catch with his mouth. The apples made slight bulges as they traveled down his throat. He picked Brian up again and licked around under his jaw, a sign of love from one dragon to another. "God, I love you, Brian."

He felt himself getting hard. ~Oh shit. Not now... ~ He continued holding Brian, one arm under his legs, the other under his back. "Let me feed you, love." He said, picking up a cluster of grapes. "I'm just so happy to have you with me..."

Brian blushed brightly from all the attention Draco was giving him. He smiled from the hug, the feeling of the warm scales rubbing his skin. He smiled when he saw Draco eating the apples after cooking them; finding the idea interesting he was going to ask if he could have one too. But when Draco had picked him up and licked around his chin, he felt his face get hot. Soon Draco was holding him and offering him grapes, he had never blushed so much in his entire life before.

"Haha, Draco stop ... your embarrassing me ..."

He giggled again, and took a grape and ate it anyway.

Draco nuzzled Brian's stomach. "What, am I not allowed to spoil my mate anymore?" he asked. But when a rustling was heard, he stopped and set Brian down. "Who's there?"

Jeraso stepped from the bushes, his eyes wide. "So... but... wait...." He put a hand to his forehead and shook his head. "So Brian is your mate? Why didn't you tell anyone? How is that possible?"

Draco pulled Brian close, one arm protectively around his shoulder and his tail wrapped around Brian's waist lightly. "Yes he's my mate and I didn't tell anyone because I was afraid they would try to either kidnap him or kill him."

Jeraso shook his head. "Well you've got nothing to fear from me, in any case. Your business is your business..." He was cut short when Draco jumped on him and hugged him.

"Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, THANKYOU!"

Brian stood there smiling, and let out a small sigh. He was glad the other dragon understood. He had been frightened for a second, scared the dragon might do something like ... try to separate them, which would be very horrible. While the two dragons hugged Brian went back to eating. He looked up at the sky, realizing the sun was setting.

"Wow ... time goes by fast here ..." he turned to Draco "Hey Draco, it's getting dark ... maybe we should head back to the cave?"

Draco set Brian down in their cave as Jeraso landed behind them, setting down his armful of meat, vegetables, and fruits on a ledge prepared just for that purpose. "Well, I guess I should be leaving..." he said, turning to leave.

Draco caught him by the shoulder and turned him around to hug him again. "Thanks for understanding. Do you want to stay the night? It'll make me feel more comfortable..."

Jeraso hugged Draco back, then looked at Brian. "Well, the choice really comes down to you. May I stay, or should I return to my cave? Either way, I'll keep the secret."

Brian nodded and smiled. He was one to forgive people easily.

"Sure. I don't mind. I don't hold it against you for what happened. You were just doing what you thought was right ... so ... yea, its fine, really your welcome to stay."

He smiled again, he walked over to the pile of food and grabs an apple, and bites into it as he heads into the back of the cave ware his and Draco's bed was. Well, it wasn't really a bed, more like a pile of leaves, straw, and flower petals for a nice smell. He laid down on the edge of it, tired from the day. He was still amazed at how short it was.

"Probably from all the excitement of being here ..." he thought to him self as he closed his eyes to go to sleep.

Draco smiled and turned his head towards Jeraso. "Aren't I lucky to have a mate like him?" Jeraso smiled and nodded.

Draco moved over to his ‘nest' and lay down, pulling Brian close to himself. Jeraso came over and lay down next to them, hugging Draco and Brian, sharing his warmth. Although Brian and Draco didn't know it, Jeraso was pleased they had let him stay. "Thank you, Brian..." He whispered as they fell asleep.

Brian lay there sleeping soundly during the night, the warmth from the fires of both dragons keeping him in a deep sleep. He woke up a few times during the night, always snuggling as close as he could to Draco, wrapping his arms around the dragon best he could and then falling asleep again.

While the three slept, others were plotting and planning things against their happiness. The three dragons that Draco had beaten up earlier had gotten together some of their friends, most of which had nothing but negative thoughts about humans.

Argon, limping a little from Draco's attack, walked into the cave they were meeting in. "Ok, so we all know the deal, right? We take the human and hide him where that dragon can't find him. Any other suggestions?" He looked around. "Good."

Draco and Jeraso woke up the next day to find Brian gone.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the night, while the 3 slept, Brian felt like he was being touched in his sleep. he thought, subconsciously, that Draco was hugging him in their sleep so he didn't wake up. The next morning he woke with a stretch and looked around. At first he noticed Draco wasn't there, so he thought he had left for food. But then he noticed something else: he couldn't see the cave opening. He blinked slightly and stood up.
"Hello .... Draco ... are you there ... hello?"
He took a few steps from the nest he was in, wondering ware he was.
A black dragon stepped from the shadows behind him, seemingly materializing from nowhere. "You're beloved Draco isn't here. It's only you and me for now." He walked over to Brian and pushed him down into a sitting position on the bed. "Now siddown and shut up. I don't wanna hear your talk today, human." He said human as if it were a curse word, with much malice and disrespect.
Brian winced slightly as he was forced to sit down onto the bedding. He looked at the black dragon wondering what was going on, but kept quiet nonetheless. After about 10 minutes of just sitting there he was tempted to ask the black dragon something, but thought it would be best to stay quiet. Before long, however, he was unable to keep his mouth shut, he had to do or say something or he'd go nuts.
"Um ... excuse me but ... why am I here ...?"
The black dragon whirled on him, eyes going from white to red. "BECAUSE! YOU'VE MADE ONE OF OUR OWN INTO YOUR..YOUR... HOUSEPET! You somehow managed to subdue his will and force him to bring you here! You can't be allowed to stay with him any longer. Maybe he'll snap out of it when you're gone." He stomped over.
"I promise you, if I ever find out that you're a human spy sent to discover where we all escape to, I will end your life if it kills me." He gave Brian a hard poke in the chest with a finger.
Brian stayed completely quiet as the dragon accused him of placing Draco under a spell. He felt insulted at the fact that the dragon would consider he'd do such a thing. Brian just crossed his arms and then stared at the dragon with a blank expression for a few minutes. After the dragon had poked him he let out a sigh and stood up and started walking off in some random direction.
"Your obviously nuts, I'm gonna go find my own way out. Once I find Draco, we will leave; how does that suit your fancy?" he didn't bother to wait for the dragon to respond and kept walking. "The guy's a nut case ..." he thought to him self as he walked.
The black dragon just threw back his head and laughed, sitting on the ground. He grinned evilly, sitting down on the edge of the nest. "Fine. Go get lost. I will warn you, though, the only exits you will find require a set of these" He flapped his wings. "to use. You'll just tire yourself out and get frustrated." He cracked his knuckles, his tail lashing and taking out bits and pieces of the nesting. "But if you come back complaining about frustration or any injuries you sustain, I promise you will not get any sympathy from me."
Brian said nothing and continued walking, looking for a way out. As he walked, he didn't find a single cave entrance that was ground level. They were all up on the walls and ceilings. He did his best trying to climb to many of them, but he could never reach a single one. By the end of the day Brian was covered in scars, scratches and bruises. After a while it was soon pitch black in the caves and he couldn't see a thing. He sat down on the cave floor and curled up against a wall. He closed his eyes and decided to fall asleep where he was, deciding not to go back to the black dragon.
"I'll find anther way out tomorrow ..."
The black dragon stretched and woke from his rest. "The fool didn't listen to me, obviously." He sighed, then took a sniff of the air, locating Brian's scent. He followed it to one of the branches of the cavern. "Ok, then. Tire yourself out; it'll make it easier to subdue you later." He heard a rustling of scales and turned to see a deep green dragon walk in from one of the other branches.
"Has the human escaped?" The black dragon shook his head and jerked his head behind him. "Ah. So he's down there. Well, I'm your replacement; get outta here." The black dragon nodded and walked off. The green dragon heard a snap of wings as the black took off and sighed. "I hate acting like I don't care. I just wish that this human had chosen to leave well enough alone." He walked down the suggested tunnel and found Brian. "Doesn't he know how cold it gets up here?" He picked up Brian softly, so as not to wake him, and returned to the nest. He curled up around Brian in his larger form, keeping the him warm from the cold of the night.
Draco was pacing back and forth in his cave, Jeraso standing by the cave entrance. "Who could have done this?! Who WOULD have done this?!" Draco smacked his hand against his head. "Why, WHY did I have to bring Brian here!?"
Jeraso walked over to Draco and stopped his pacing. He pushed him down and began to massage his neck and wing joints. Draco automatically began to relax; there were a lot of pleasure and pressure nerves there, which is why dragons enjoy flight so much. "Calm down. You won't be able to help Brian if you're all stressed out." Draco nodded.
"I know. It's just that, at every turn, something always ends up happening to him and I worry until I get him back, and I hate the fact that most of them are my fault." ~In fact, all of them are... ~ Draco thought to himself.
Brian lay there as the green dragon lay around him to keep him warm. He stirred in his sleep slightly and his eyes snapped open. He looked up to see the green dragon and was startled slightly, Getting up to run, but only to stumble and fall over the next second. He turned to face the dragon, shaking
"Who are you? Why am I here ...?" his voice shook as he spoke, obviously scared and wondering ware the black dragon was.
The green dragon woke up when Brian stumbled; it had been his tail that was stumbled over. He yawned widely, then looked at Brian sleepily. "Hm? What? Me? I'm Dari. I'm sure you know why you're here; the others don't like the idea of a human in our secret area. Frankly, neither do I, but if a dragon brought you here..." Dari shrugged.
"Why am I being kept here ... I've done nothing wrong Have I?"
*Brian had stood up from where he had fallen to, staring up at the dragon. His body shook all over, a mix of fear and cold. But he didn't care; he wanted to know.
"And what are you going to do to me while I am here ... kill me?"
He knew the last part was a little over the top, but he knew it was a possibility.
Dari raised one eyebrow and snorted, shaking his head. "I may not like most of you humans, but I consider that no reason to kill you." He stood and stretched. "Besides... the rest of us figured that if you somehow got a dragon to bring you up here, you could figure out how to get more humans up here. We don't want more humans coming up here for revenge." He walked over slowly, his body shrinking as he walked. "In any case, like I said, I won't make trouble for you as long as you don't make trouble for me." He rubbed his somewhat large stomach. "I'm hungry. You want anything?" He jumped into the air and landed inside one of the high holes in the cave. He returned a few seconds later with a armful of meat, fruits and vegetables. He picked a few out, toasted them as Drake had done with the apples, then caught them in his mouth, chewing happily.
Brian said nothing when the dragon spoke. Wondering why the dragons hated him just because of what other humans have done. When the dragon asked if he was hungry, he realized he was. but before he could answer the dragon already jumped up and left. Brian sat there for a while, till the dragon returned with an assortment of fruits, veggies, and meats. Brian grabbed apples, peaches, pears, and a few carrots and then began eating quietly, thinking. After he finished his first apple he looks up at this new dragon.
"Will I ever get to see Drake again?"
Dari, who had been smiling before, lost his smile. He looked down sadly at the human. "I don't know. I don't know what the plan was for when things returned to normal." He reached over and put a hand on his shoulder. "I guess I can only make things easy for you when it's my turn to watch." When flapping was heard, however, he quickly removed his hand from his shoulder and hardened his face.
"Oi, Dari! What were you doing?" came the voice of another dragon, maroon this time. Dari stood back and shook his head. The other dragon walked up and grabbed a pear, biting into it. With his other hand, he pushed Dari away and glared at Brian. "Get outta here, Dari. It's my watch." Dari turned slowly, shrugging behind the other's back.
"Goodbye, Dari." The maroon said in finality. Dari jumped and flapped, disappearing through the same tunnel the maroon had come in. He turned to Brian, his chest bulging slightly with muscle. "And now you're all mine." He grinned evilly, beginning to move towards Brian.
Brian said nothing when Dari spoke, wondering what he meant when he said "When things return to normal." He heard the flapping of wings and soon another dragon showed up. He took a few steps away from the dragon when he walked up to Dari saying it was his shift. When Dari left though, the maroon dragon started walking towards him. he began backing away scared. "What ... what are you going to do ...?"
The maroon dragon just smirked. "You don't need to know. But what you should know is that I will get what I want, whether you want it or not." He grabbed Brian by the shirt and lifted him up, bringing him close.
His black shaft began to rise from his sheath. It was bigger than Draco's. Bigger even than Draco's father's. He slowly brought his other hand to bear, tearing Brian's pants off him. He tossed the pants on the floor, then used his now free hand to lift his shaft to a 45 degree angle with his body. "Are you ready?" He didn't wait for Brian to respond. "Good."
He slowly began to lower Brian down on his expansive shaft. He gasped and jerked upwards a little when Brian's cool skin touched his much warmer shaft. "Mmmmmmm... Yeah...."
When the dragon had grabbed him and tore his clothing off, Brian had started shaking all over from fear. This fear escalated when he the dragon held him over the large draconic erection. He closed his eyes shaking all over, and turning his head left to right. When he felt the dragons warm erection brush against his hole, he felt the dragon jerk his hips upwards, forcing the cock head in violently, to have it slide out instantly after. He was shaking his head and squirming.
"No ... stop it ... this ... this isn't right!"
The maroon dragon stared at Brian, an angry look on his face. "Didn't I tell you that you have no choice in the matter?" He pushed himself farther in, pushing down on Brian's shoulders a little. "I'm the bigger and stronger one here, and I decide what's ‘right' and ‘wrong'. And what's right is me getting my pleasure." He jerked himself upwards, forcing a few more inches into Brian.
He was only halfway in, but he already had 9 inches inside. He pushed from side to side inside Brian, his cock pulsing with an unheard heartbeat and pumping pre-cum.
Brian let out a loud whine when he felt the dragon push down on his shoulders, forcing him deep onto the dragons' erection. Soon to the point he was practically sitting on it; the dragon didn't have to hold him up anymore to keep him from falling off. He winced as he felt the cock throbbing rapidly, like that of a heart beat. He started sobbing loudly.
"No, please ... take it out! It hurts!"
Tears slid down his face from the pain he was experiencing; being stretched out by this dragons erection was too much for him to bear, he even tried pushing off, putting his feet against the dragons abdomen and pushing.
The maroon shivered and jerked upwards when Brian braced his feet against his scales. "Ah! Oh...." He began to work himself back and forth, quickly setting a rapid tempo. The harder and faster he shoved, the wider his grin became.
"Gen'Rath! What are you doing?" Another dragon appeared, this time a vibrant yellow and obviously female. "We're supposed to keep the captive happy. Or at least mostly undamaged; we don't want humans attacking us because we injured one of their own." Gen'Rath stopped thrusting into Brian.
"What's it to you, Sil'Gra?" The dragoness glared at him.
"Well, since YOUR watch was up half an hour ago..." She walked up to him and shoved his hands away from Brain. Catching Brian before he could slide farther down, she lifted him off slowly and placed him on the bed, almost motherly. "Just go, Gen'Rath." The maroon's eye twitched a little, but as he ground his teeth in irritation, he turned and flew off.
Sil'Gra sat next to Brian, switching between looking angrily at where Gen'Rath flew off to and at Brian in worry. She put a hand on his shoulder after a few minutes. "Are you going to be ok?" she asked softly.
During the dragons' conversation, Brian shook violently all over. His body ached all over as the genitalia of the maroon dragon still rested within him. When the dragoness proceeded to remove him from the maroon dragon he winced, his legs twitching as the dragonhood slid out of him. When set upon the bed he lay there panting slightly, still hurting but not as much as before. When the yellow dragoness asked if he was going to be ok, he attempted to sit up, wincing at the pain in his lower region. He just nodded his head, slightly grunting.
"I think so .... I've taken bigger ... and from far more violent dragons ... so this ..... it hurts ... but not as bad as I've felt ...."
He couldn't even finish his sentence; He had to lay back down because it hurt too much to sit up. He closed his eyes and tried to relax.
Sil'Gra frowned. "Well, is there anything I can do?" She shook her head. "Don't answer that."
She picked Brian up and laid him on his stomach. "Just try to relax, ok?" She began rubbing Brian's back, working her knuckles into ever nook and cranny. Her hands, which were even warmer than Draco's, seemed very practiced as she massaged over Brian's back. She moved slowly down his back. She skipped his butt and moved straight onto his right leg, then his left.
"Feeling better yet?" She asked him as she let up slowly.
Brian said nothing as the dragoness massaged him. It felt weird, but also nice. When she asked if he was feeling better, he nodded and motioned his hands against her paw to make her stop. Once she did he sat up and let out a sigh. He pulled his legs close to his body to get warm now that his clothing was gone.
"Why am I here ... where is Draco ...?"
Sil'gra grimaced, her face forming a frown. She curled up around him, surrounding him in warmth. "Dari told me you asked why before, so there's nothing more I can say. But I don't know where Draco is. Depends on what your relationship is with him." She raised an eyebrow in question.
Brian blushed brightly at the dragoness's question. He began to play with his hair slightly.
"Oh ... um ... were sort of ... um .... 'together' ..."
He looked off to the side, his face a bright red from embarrassment.
"Why do you ask...?"
he asked as he looked up at the dragoness.
Sil'gra sat up a little, blinking rapidly. "You're... together..? Well, that's new. And I'm asking because I'm interested. It might affect my opinion." She lowered her head again. "How'd you two get together? I mean, most of you want our heads and our hides on your walls. Not that I'm challenging you, but..."
Brian blushed brightly and giggled a bit. "Well, we met under those exact circumstances. Although ... I didn't want to. Its some coming-of-age thing my family came up with. When I was sent to Draco's cave ... I didn't want to slay him ... in fact, growing up, I loved reading books about dragons."
He smiled a bit, laughing remembering how he and Draco met. His face went a deep crimson and giggled to him self more.
"He makes me feel ... like .... I can't explain it ... when I'm around him ... I can't help but smile ..." Brian turned his head to face the dragoness still smiling. "You ever feel like that about someone?"
Sil'gra's tail lashed, her face forming a grimace. "Well... yes. In fact, that's... part of why I'm here." She turned her eyes away from Brian, her eyes going a bit watery. "It's difficult to talk about, but lets just say that I have something against you humans." She nudged him with her tail. "However, if you are making Draco as happy as he's making you, I might be able to forgive you."
Brian's smile faded when the dragoness spoke. He was saddened by the news of her lover. Though she didn't say it directly, he knew what she meant. A knight must have killed him.
"I .... I'm sorry for your loss miss ... as for Draco ... I'd like to think that I make him happy ... I really do ..."
He sighed a bit, thinking. So far their times together had been happy, but so many things were happening to him; he was causing Draco so much stress, no doubt about that. Tears began swelling in his eyes as he began thinking maybe it would be best of he and Draco didn't see each other anymore.
"But ... then again ... since we've been together ... a lot of bad things have been happening to us ... mostly to me ... these things ...causing Draco to become stressed with worry ... like ... when I first met his father ...."
He winced a bit, remembering his meeting with Draco's father the first time*
"He raped me ... thinking I was a pet of Draco's .... When Draco found out ... he and his father fought ..."
The more he thought about their relationship the more he realized he was causing Draco more pain than anything else. Forcing him to fight his father solely because of him; was he worth it? He was beginning to think not.
Sil'gra reached a hand around and brushed away Brian's tears, suddenly feeling very motherly. "Shh, shh. Hey, stress is part of any relationship. My friends and family didn't approve of my mate, and we went through most of the same stuff you and Draco did. Considering what you've told me, Draco loves you very much; there isn't much that could make a dragon fight their parents for something; the love of another is one thing that can." She nuzzled him slightly, hoping he would stop crying. "I'm sure you'll be fine."
Brian blinked slightly when the dragoness brushed his tears away, looking up at her with a small hopeless look.
"I hope your right ..."
He couldn't think of anything else to say. Draco was all that made him happy, but what if he didn't make Draco happy? He hoped he did, he hoped with all his heart and soul that he made Draco happy.
Sil'gra frowned and curled up around Brian until he fell asleep. When her chance came to leave, she stood and let the next watcher, thankfully not Gen'Rath or any like him, take her place. But instead of returning to her cave, she took a detour. About an hour later, she left and returned to her own cave.
The next day, before she returned to take her shift, she blew a sheet of flame from her cave mouth and she was followed by a shadow, to the location of secret cave. As she walked by the other dragon guards, she brushed against the cave walls unnecessarily. When she replaced the last guard, she laid down around Brian, waiting.
It didn't take long before she heard what she had been waiting for; sounds of dragons fighting. She nudged Brian with her tail. "Brian, wake up. It's time to go." Jeraso the dragon came running into the room in his smaller form.
Brian winced when he had been woken up. He had fallen asleep during his conversation with the dragoness and did not notice the time go by. When he was told to wake up, he sat up groggily stretching and rubbing his eyes. When the dragoness told him they were going somewhere, he looked up at her questioningly.
"Where are we going?" he yawned slightly as he asked.
Jeraso walked up and, lifting Brian in his pink arms, holding him against his yellow chest, and wrapping him in his purple-membraned wings. "We're taking you back." And he ran out of the cave. No one suspected such an obvious dragon would be helping Draco.
When they got back to the cave, Jeraso ran to the back of the cave. He laid Brian down on a cot behind a hidden door. "Are you ok, Brian? Don't worry, Draco will be back soon. This was all part of his plan to get you back. You're worth it."
Brian was startled by what was going on. Before he realized it, the pink dragon was carrying him away from the cave he had been kept in. After Jeraso set him down he looked around then back at him. He tilted his head, surprised at what he saw; a bright pink dragon with a pale yellow underside, and bright purple wings. Almost like lilacs. He hadn't noticed Jeraso's color before. He smiled a bit and began looking around.
"So Draco sent you then? Will he be here soon?"
He was exited to see Draco again and was wondering exactly where he was now.
Jeraso looked away guiltily. "Yes... he sent me." He avoided answering the second question as he avoided Brian's eyes. "Stay here, ok? I'll be right back..." He climbed over the rocks around the hidden spot and resumed his full form, which looked a lot less ridiculous because of its size. He flew out of the cave.
A half hour later, he came back, supporting Draco. Draco was injured; he had cuts all over his body, some of his scales were burnt, and the end of his tail was missing. Jeraso brought him in and dropped him on the cave floor where he lay, bleeding slightly and breathing heavily.
Brian let out a gasp at the sight of Draco, and ran over to him, kneeling next to him as he lay on the ground.
"Draco ... what happened to you?!"
He wrapped the dragons head in a hug, feeling like he were on the verge of crying. He looked the dragon over; the sight of the scars and burns appalled him. But what saddened him most seemed to be the tail. The tip was missing, the tail ended in a stump now rather than a tip.
"This ... is all my fault ... isn't it?"
He had asked the question out loud to himself rather than to the dragons around him. He didn't expect an answer, though he asked anyway, feeling really guilty for what had happened to Draco.
Draco coughed, then opened one eye. "Shhh... shhhhhh...." He slowly moved one paw and put it around Brian. He coughed once, turning his head so Brian's head was near one of his eyes. "It's not... your fault. I did what... I had to do... to protect my..." A bought of coughing overtook him for a minute. "... my love. It's what... any dragon would... have done for their... mate." With that, Draco passed out, his breath slowing down to almost nothing.
Brian rested his body against the dragon's large neck, crying silently shaking his head.
"You shouldn't have to do this .... you shouldn't have to be hurt like this ... because of me ... I'm so sorry ..."
He rested against the dragon, crying himself to sleep, wishing that Draco would get well soon.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A couple of days later Draco had recovered some, though his burns and scars had healed over for the most part, his tail of a stump stayed that way. Brian often times wanted to ask if dragons could heal it via magic, but he wasn't sure if they could. If it could happen it would probably have already been done. He was currently sitting next to Draco in their cave. After the events that had happened, he did his best to always stay near the dragon.

Draco was wrapped around Brian. Briand was leaning on his head and they were watching a sunset together. Sil'Gra the dragoness glided down from one of the higher caves to land next to them. "I managed to convince the Council that you were only attacking in defense of your mate and that Brian is said mate. They will let you stay."

Draco's mouth twitched as he gave a grunt. He shrunk to his anthropomorphic form, letting Brian lean against his side as he wrapped an arm around him. "Took long enough." He leaned over and kissed Brian on the head. "Can you stop blaming yourself? It wasn't your fault most dragons are biased against humans." He picked Brian up and sat him in his lap, wrapping his arms around his love and lying his head on Brian's. "We'll be safe; some of the most ancient dragon law is protecting our relationship. And I'll be fine." He raised his tail, staring at where the end should have been. "This will grow back in time. Come on, please don't feel guilty."

Draco gave Brian a tender hug; he didn't want the boy to be sad.

Brian blushed as he sat on the dragons lap, cuddling close to him and letting out a sigh. Even after the dragon had said not to feel bad about what had happened, he still felt very guilty. He clung to the dragon, wrapping his arms around Draco's neck, giving him a gentle hug. He was going to try to get over what had happened, nodding his head when the dragon said his tail would heal over time.

"Ok ... "

He hugged tighter, but not roughly, not wanting to be separate from the dragon ever again.

Draco hugged Brian back. ~What have I brought him into? Is this really the kind of life I want to expose him to? ~

Draco and Brian sat like that until the sun began to go down. Sil'Gra had left, leaving the two alone. Draco laid back, pulling Brian down with him. "We need some sleep; we'll deal with more of this tomorrow." He spread his wings out to either side and wrapped his arms and his legs around Brian. "I love you, and I never want that to change. But if things get too hard for you here or anywhere, just tell me; I need to know." He kissed Brian's forehead and fell asleep.

Brian wrapped his arms around the dragon's arms as they held him, the warmth of the dragon's body relaxing him making him feel warm, as well as safe. Despite all that happened and all the troubles they went through, it finally seemed like they were going to have their happily ever after. Though he contemplated on a few things before drifting off to sleep.

~Should I tell him ... he's the father of my father ... or should I just forget about it... Does it really matter...? ~ he thought to himself.

He looked up at the dragons face and smiled, thinking of all of the wonderful times they will soon share, and then shook his head.

~No it doesn't ... I love him and he loves me ... That's all I want ... and I'm sure it's all he wants. ~ he thought before snuggling closer to the dragons chest. dreaming of the wonderful times soon to come.
