The bell for the end of class rang out all throughout the school and the classrooms. Accompanied by this sound was the scratching of plastic from the chairs rubbing against the hard floor as all the Pokémon students instinctually started to leave there seat. "A-Alright well don't forget to do you're homework for tomorrows class!" The teacher quickly shouted as the students continued to disperse to their next class and for some lunch time.

"And I swear the guy like doesn't even know me and just straight up gave me the free coupon for the burger there! Like he had it for himself, didn't have any food and barley knew me, yet he was totally ok with it!" The Charmeleon seemed to exclaim to his Weavile friend he was walking with. "Oh is that so.." "Yah man it's totally true! I mean I think everyone here knows the stories about Jake and all the great stuff he does, but seriously when you meet the guy you learn why those stories exist!" The Weavile looked over at his friend. "Oh? Even the one about him saving a girl from a killer bee or all those fights he broke off just by being near them?" The Charmeleon thought for a moment. "Well, I think so!" The Weavile rolled his eyes "Whatever you say man."

The Charmeleon puffed his cheeks a little in annoyance at his friend's comment "Well what would you know Aiden, you've barley even met the guy. What you're just so smart now that you can know someone's personality just from a glare?" "Oh please it's not that Ike, it just doesn't take an idiot to see something about the whole thing is fishy. I'm telling you that nobody acts like that out of some pre-conception of the "kindness in your heart" or something. Stuff like that is not automatically in our nature; if you ask me this guy is doing it because he just loves the attention and being in front stage so much."

"Oh come on man aren't you just being cynical" Ike retorted in a non-believing tone. "This isn't about cynicism; this is about how personalities that aren't in fantasy movies or games work. This so called amazing Raichu doesn't actually care about any of these people he's being so overtly kind to; he sees it as a way for him to gain popularity or other favors they now owe him. I mean look, right over there you can see!" Aiden points over at a table where Jake was, almost anyone could spot him a mile away sense he was such an abnormally large Raichu, he was practically the size of a short human. He doesn't seem to tell people or know why he's so big but a few think it might have been from some kind of weird experiment, though by this point nobody really cared much why that was the case. At the table all the others around Jake seemed to mostly be there just for him rather than each other.

"Who the hell hangs with that many people anyways, the dude is just practically gaining affinity points from them for his own needs. Not to mention the amount of guys and girls he's dated is both larger than almost any other person at school, as well as equal to the amount he ends up dumping." The Charmeleon pondered his words for a moment. "Yah that last part is a bit weird but I don't know man, he just doesn't seem like that kind of person you know, I think you're reading too much into it like always. Plus if yah ask me, I think you're a little jealous that you haven't even been able to get nearly as many friends as him, or even a date yet~" Aiden scoffed as his comment. "Yah right, I'm just telling you how it is."

Ike then suddenly snapped and quickly looked down to his wrist, a little watch showed up telling him the time. "Crap I got to hurry to class now, have fun with lunch." And with that the Charmeleon quickly scurried off as the Weavile waved him bye. Aiden looked over at the table for a second seeing everyone laugh as Jake was telling off some kind a joke, glazing his eye's a bit and sighing at the sight. *Well.. maybe there is a little truth to what he said and I just don't want to admit it. I mean I guess just being really smart doesn't get you friends, but I have no idea how to really insert myself with these people or go to their parties or whatever they have; I just don't know if I can relate with them.*

Aiden then started to shake his head a little *Aw come on don't start thinking about this now, you'll just get yourself down again! I should just eat my lunch and try to focus on my next class.* Shaking off his thoughts Aiden quickly tried looking for a spot to eat before lunch was over, walking across from the table Jake and his group were at as he looked over the place. And as he was walking by unbeknownst to him Jake was staring at him as Jake's friends around him talked.

"What are you staring at Jake?" the female Jiggly Puff next to him suddenly said as the Raichu snapped back into reality. "Oh uhm... I was just.. looking at Aiden over there, that guy from my ethics class; he doesn't seem like he has too many friends." An Ampharos sitting from across the table replied to him. "Yah well that's just cause he spends all his time studying or whatever then actually socializing, he barley talks much from what I've seen." "That guy probably just thinks he's so much better or smarter then everyone anyways, nobody wants a stuck up ass or a nerd as a friend anyways" The Gabite to the right of Jake replied. Jake frowned a little "Oh come on guys aren't you being well, a bit judgmental. Like look he's at least pretty cute right?" The Grovyle at the table crossed his arms. "Well granted I'll give you that but looks aren't always enough too... er well, ok maybe looks are enough to me but for some... well not really that many.. Uh well my point being that nobody really knows anything about him really, he mainly keeps to himself and what not."

Jake looked over at where he last saw Aiden at, noticing him over by the corner of a sidewalk sitting down and eating away at his lunch by himself. The Jiggly Puff next to him stared over at Jake for a little bit before saying something. "Well if you're really that interested in the guy, why not invite him over for the party today?" Jake looked over at her a little surprised at the Puff's comment. "Oh uhm, invite him over? Uhh well.. I mean.." Suddenly a few people at the table started to groan. "Ahh come on don't do that, we don't need a guy like him just making the party awkward or weird for everyone!" The Gabite replied. The Zororak at the table nodded his head in agreement "It's supposed to just be a chill time for all of us and our friends, what if he like brings some stupid nerdy stuff to the party."

This time Jake for one of the few rare moments seemed a bit upset and maybe even a little angry at their comments toward Aiden. "Alright that's enough! You know I don't like this attitude you all have for this guy.. So you know what yes, how about you ask him if he wants to come over Lily." Lily only seemed to smile at Aiden in response and nodded her head before getting up from the table and going over to him; for a small moment the table being almost speechless.

Meanwhile Aiden was simply looking down at the ground casually munching on his sandwich as he was suddenly surprised to see the ever popular Lily walking up to him with the intention to talk. "Uhm excuse me, you're Aiden right?" Aiden paused for a moment a bit confused at what this was about. "Uh yeah.. I am, what is it?" Lily responded quickly to his expected question. "Well I was just coming over to you because I wanted to cordially invite you to a little party a few Pokémon here are having at my house later tonight; Ike was the one that asked me."

Aiden still felt rather dumbfounded at what was going on. "Huh? Ike did, and he goes to parties like this? Why didn't he himself just tell me earlier." "Well I'm the one that needs to officially invite people like this sense it's my house, I think he perhaps just wanted it to be a surprise though." Lily responded with no hesitation. Aiden was very surprised to be getting this invitation and prospect coming almost out of nowhere, pausing for a brief moment to think to himself.

*Wow a party huh.. I've never been invited to one of those, what do they even do at parties besides drink.. will I even like it? But I've always wanted to go.. and maybe I can meet new friends and-* "Well?" Lily said interrupting his thoughts as he looked back over at her. "I'll.. I mean.. y-yeah, ok.. I'll go." Lily smiled and handed him a piece of paper "Excellent! The address as well as the time is on the paper, make sure not to come too late and don't tell anyone else about it k?" Aiden looked at the paper for a moment and did a small nod to Lily, who then proceeded to leave without a word. *A party huh..* Aiden thought to himself looking down at the paper.

Looking back up away from the paper Aiden spotted the house in question. It was about 9:00pm or so and the party should for the most part just be starting. Aiden feeling nervous did a quick inhale and exhale trying to relax himself. *Come on Aiden it's no big deal.. this is just what everyone else does and it's just that you haven't yet. You're not a complete introvert, you know how to talk with people here, maybe think of it like calculus; approach it one step at a time and try to conceptualize the problem from its roots. Plus you've done the research on how some parties work, it'll be fine.*

Clutching a 6 pack of beer in his right hand he stopped hesitating and entered the house with various noises and sounds coming from the inside. There was no greeter or anyone at the door but when he stepped inside he could clearly see everyone and distinguish what he heard earlier. There was about maybe 20 to 25 different Pokémon from the school here with some music, alcohol, a movie, a gaming station and snacks with everyone for the most part just talking or laughing. Aiden was expecting something more extreme based on what he saw in movies or from stories. Going further into the house he went to the table and set down some of the beer he had alongside many other drinks.

Then suddenly to his surprise he saw Ike to the right of him drinking something; while Ike a few seconds later noticed him and had a big smile on his face. "Hey Aiden, wow I can't believe you actually made it; and you even brought some beer nice!" Aiden chuckled a little bit but quickly followed suit with his usual snidey comments. "Well you were the one that invited me here in the first place, so it's hardly a surprise." Ike scratched the back of his head. "Well I mean... I just didn't think you'd like be the type to ever come to a party or drink or whatever, so I never really bothered inviting you.. uh well until now I mean heh.." Aiden crossed his arms at him. "Well obviously you don't know that much about me then, you really are terrible at reading people. But I'm not here to idly chat with you I'm afraid, so I'll be going over to the gaming station with a drink for now, perhaps to try and well.. mingle for once, later."

Not being very interested in anything else Ike had to say Aiden left him without waiting for a response to go to another section of the party; Lily suddenly replacing Aiden's spot next to Ike who looked a little annoyed. "Seriously I didn't think he'd ever freaking go to a party of all places, I thought he just wanted to like study or something.." Lily snickered at what Ike said. "Well that's because you're an idiot and assume things~ You really are awful at knowing what people think huh?" And just like Aiden, Lily started immediately leaving not giving Ike a chance to reply; causing him to angrily puff his cheeks. "Hey I'm not that much of an idiot alright, It's not true what they say about History class either, I got a C- not a D so I passed!"

As Aiden approached the gaming center and started watching a few people play he was surprised to see nobody else really having much of an issue with him. He thought that he might perhaps be called out or made fun of but some of the Pokémon even approached him and made some casual conversation. In fact a few people seemed to even notice he was the one that brought the six pack and were asking him where he got that brand of beer, things seemed to be working out quite well for him and he was quiet enjoying the rather chill party.

After about 30 minutes of this Lily once again approached him tapping him on his shoulder to get his attention. Aiden turned around to see Lily smiling up at him casually. "Hey I was just wondering if you wanted to play a sort of, spin the bottle game. In my version people don't get to pick what we do, I have a box of suggestions so nobody does anything too dumb." Aiden didn't really know much of anything about the game but feeling a bit loosened up from his drink and generally having a surprisingly good time at this place, he decided to keep pushing himself forward out of his usual comfort zone. "Uhm alright.. sure, that sounds interesting."

Lily made an even bigger smile "Great! Then just follow me over here quick." Doing as she said, Aiden followed her for a few moments until they happened upon a circle of about 12 other Pokémon; one of which was Jake. A few scooted over for an empty space for him as Aiden sat down seeing some of them look at him as well as Jake smiling and waving to him; though he wasn't particularly interested in him so much as the group in general. Then Lily suddenly plopped down a rather big looking bottle in the center of the circle "Well I think by now we all know how this works, so let's get started with the fun!" And without looking she put her little arm inside a hat filled with a bunch of notes, pulling one out and looking at it. "Hmm interesting, seems like this one is a dare for two lucky contestants! Let's see who gets picked." A few whispers were heard in the group as they all slightly anxiously watched lily go towards the center and suddenly spin the bottle with a surprising amount of strength.

*Well she said the dares and truth's weren't too extreme.. but I guess we'll have to see what the others are forced to do before I can really judge that.* However just as Aiden was thinking this to himself the bottle suddenly stopped right on him of all people. He looked down a bit surprised to see it "Huh? Wait, I-Is it pointed at me?" A few of the others snickered a little bit. "Well looks like we got beginners luck over here, or perhaps dis-luck? Let's find out!" Lily said to the group as she immediately gave the bottle another spin; this time Aiden being the most anxious of the group. *Shit why did I have to be first! This better not be something bad like a kiss or some weird sexual thing..*

And to pretty much everyone surprise the bottle landed right on Jake, the Raichu pausing for a moment and seeing everyone's reaction before looking at the bottle. "Wait... am I it?" More snickering and laughing was heard in the group as the Zororak next to Aiden gave him a sudden nudge. "Man nice luck there to get Jake of all people, I can already feel the others jealousy." Aiden was not amused one bit by this, he didn't want to have anything to do with the guy. Lily seemed to giggle a bit looking over and Aiden then Jake. "Well you two probably got one of the more extreme entries on here it looks like. It's one of the few dares that will take place outside of this room, involving well.. you two going out with each other tomorrow night~"

The entire crowd was completely shocked at that one, but it was clear that both Jake and Aiden were the most surprised. "Huh!? G-Go out on a date? Does it really say that?" Jake suddenly burst out actually taking the words right out of Aiden's mouth. Lily only nodded in reply. "Indeed it does, you two lucky love birds~ After school you two will have to go out on at least one date with each other, no way of getting out of it! I figure you guys can decide what romantic place to choose." Suddenly everyone in the crowd seemed to be either laughing louder than ever before or jeering, a few saying random little comments to both parties who were still rather flabbergasted.

Aiden hung his head down in defeat seeing this wasn't something he could just say no to leave it. *Man seriously... my first ever date is with that guy of all people? I mean I guess it's not a totally real date but still..* "Alright guys calm down for a second, this dare won't be taking place tell afterward so let's not go to crazy here; after all we still got a lot more dumb dares and truths to spill out today!

The rest of the dares and truth's went by in a bit of a blur after that unexpected event for Aiden. It was still quiet fun seeing people do some silly antics with each other or say embarrassing stories from there past, but the one he got was clearly the most out there; and he couldn't fully get it out of his mind throughout the game.

"Well it was quiet fun having you here Aiden, you mingled with everyone better than expected. Perhaps I'll see you again at the next party we plan." Aiden snapped out of his trance for a second then smiled lightly at Lily. "Oh uh yah definitely, it was quite an experience. I'll uhm, see you later." Aiden waved goodbye to her and casually started walking back home as Lily waved back. Once he had left Jake started walking towards her from another part of the room; Lily quickly turning around to face him.

"So that's the guy you'll be going on a date with soon, wada think of him?" Jake scratched the back of his head a little. "W-Well I don't really know yet, he seems like a cool guy though." Lily snickered a little. "Oh just a cool guy? But you seemed very adamant in wanting him to come over here you know, despite not really knowing him?" Jake started to look a little nervous keeping his hand on the back of his head. "Ah well you know I was.. just trying to be nice you know, and maybe figured-" "Are you sure you don't like the guy? As in you know like-like~" Jake very rapidly shook his head and hands in defiance to Lily "No No! I-It's not like that at all! I was just-" "You know I've known you for a while Jake. I don't know much about Aiden but I've noticed you've mentioned his name quite a few times and even reference him sometimes, plus out of everyone I've seen you look at you always look so distance when that Weavile seems to be around.."

Jake looked a bit more nervous now, he wasn't even looking directly at Lily anymore and only looked off to his side. "I.. I just.." Lily giggled a little. "Don't even bother hiding it from me Jake, unlike you're other friends here I'm actually smart~ I'm the only one who could tell how you got such a grandiose status at our school and what the real situation is like, and this wasn't too hard to figure out either." Jake let out a long sigh looking a bit defeated now, suddenly sitting down on the floor. "...Was it that obvious?"

Lily casually sat down next to him and shook her head. "It took me a bit to get the pieces together, you didn't make it that easy despite what I said." Jake scratched his head a little bit now having a more embarrassed look on his face, seeming ready to say something before his facial expression suddenly changed. He pondered for a brief moment before quickly turning his head to Lily with a more serious look. "Wait a second.. you getting Aiden here.. and me going on a date with him all the sudden.. h-how long have you known this exactly, how much have you planned up to this point!?"

Lily only smiled casually over to him. "Only the past few days actually~ Once the right opportunity came up I just seized it. I knew about Aiden's friend coming to the party so I last minute called him up after I invited Aiden and told him to act like he was the one that wanted him here; though the bottle landing on you both was just a coincidence, I didn't even need to use my magnet." Lily scooted up a little closer to Jake giving him a slightly seductive look. "its kind a like fate wanted you two to be together huh~"

Aiden blushed slightly at her comment looking down a bit with more embarrassment. "I sure hope that's the case.." He paused for a quick moment as Lily only seemed to stare at him, edging him to continue with her eyes as Jake sighed a little. "Fine.. I guess to tell you the truth on this whole thing. I've uhm.. had a crush on Aiden for a while really, going all the way back to last semester before I was so grossly popular. He was in my English class back then and even though I didn't get to talk to him much, I could already tell he was something special. Incredibly intelligent, confident, super cute, and just a little shy and introverted but not too much, it was a good amount of it that I found kind of adorable actually." Jake's blush grew a bit bigger as he talked and even ended up twiddling with his paws a little.

"But uh as I over time developed strong interest in him it also became much harder to talk with him. I can talk and approach anyone else without a problem, but with him I always started feeling nervous and almost in-adequate. I started getting these bad thoughts stuck in my head, wondering if he would even like me if I actually tried getting to know him, would it turn out it was just one sided and he doesn't like me at all? The thought always kind of stopped me from approaching him, even as a friend heh heh.."

Jake paused for a bit looking down at the floor. "I know that must sound a bit pathetic, falling for someone I barley even know and then being too afraid to even be his friend.." Lily shook her head. "I don't think so, I think that's just a different way of falling for someone." Jake looked over at her. "What do you mean?"

"Hmm well, I see it like how two people can interpret making a puzzle, the kind where you attach pieces together to make a picture. Most people need to build on it, figure out what pieces go where, attach them to each other and slowly but surely create the picture from the bottom up right? But there are some people that before they even bother building the picture, get a scope for it instead. Without even touching the puzzle they already know what pieces go where and have the entire picture conceptualized; by the time they actually start building it they already know all about it and just have to put the pieces together. And I think in this case, you're kind a like the later."

Jake took a moment to think on her words. "Hmm, I guess.. that's one way of interpreting it huh?" Lily gave him a big smile and nodded. "Before you even started to get to know Aiden on a personal level, it's almost like you already got to tell what kind of person he is and how much you'll be able to click with him, at least generally speaking. But I think it's about time to stop staring at the picture, and start building it yourself no?"

Jake let out a little bit of a nervous sigh, trying to compose himself. "I think you're right.. and thanks to you I finally have that opportunity don't I? And I won't take it for granted, I'll show him a great time tomorrow!" Jake suddenly stood up feeling a bit determined as Lily followed suite. "That's the spirit! Oh but remember that Aiden is a smart cookie, from what I can tell he already doesn't buy into you're whole persona the school has put on you and can tell somethings up." Jake stopped himself for a second remembering. "Oh yah I guess there's that whole ordeal huh... will he even believe me if I tell him?"

Lily shook her head. "I don't think you'll have to tell him directly, in fact maybe you shouldn't. Just go somewhere a bit public and I think you'll find he can deduce the truth for himself once something happens; which knowing you it always will." Jake scratched his chin a little. "Alright, I think I can do that.. I guess I better start planning a bit, and maybe head home.. it's late."

"Yes please do, I need to start cleaning up a little here. Oh and me along with some of my friends will be there tomorrow to make sure you don't chicken out, so see you then~" And with that Jake feeling more confident than ever before headed back to his house to get some rest for the unknowingly eventful day tomorrow.

Aiden left out a hefty sigh as the Pokémon around him were gleefully chatting with one another while leaving their classrooms for the weekends. Meanwhile Aiden's Charmeleon friend only looked over at him in confusion. "Yo man what's with you, are you seriously bummed out cause you'll be going with Jake of all people." "Yah a little, There's nothing I know about the guy that would make me like him considering all the ridiculous shit I've heard, I already know I'll be able to see through any façade he has quickly and I'll just end up hating the "date" as everyone's saying. In fact after all those other pointless "dates" he's been on before probably involved the guy using his fame to have sex with everyone and then promptly leave them; He could also just be some gigantic pervert."

Ike rolled his eyes a little. "Oh stop being so uhm.. mel..melodramatic! Yah that's the word, you're over acting and over thinking this dude. Like just wait tell you meet him personally, I have a good feeling you'll change your mind soon." Aiden did a small laugh. "Well at least you're using the word right. Yah ok maybe I am exaggerating a bit and perhaps being a bit judgmental, I'll see for myself soon; but I don't have good feelings on this."

Just as Aiden stopped talking they both looked over and stopped as they saw Jake waiting by the parking lot, doing his usual cheerful wave over to Aiden. "Well good luck buddy, you'll want some if you're hoping to get lucky tonight." Ike quickly snickered as he ran off away from him. Aiden mainly ignored his comment, tried loosening up his nerves a bit and approached him. "Uh hey Jake." He said as Jake smiled at him. "Hey Aiden, nice to see you again." There was a slight pause as Aiden himself wasn't really too sure what to say, so Jake quickly took charge.

"Well I was thinking we can just do something casual for tonight. I mean I know they said it's a "date" and all that but you know let's just make it fun and simple sense we don't know too much about each other; Here" Jake gave Aiden a ticket. "I already got tickets for us to see that new Disney film a few people have been talking about, how's that sound?"

Aiden looked down at his ticket then back up at him, a little bit surprised that he already planned in advance; as well as how freaking huge this Raichu really was up close. "Uh sure, let's do that then." Jake gave him another small smile in response and started walking next to him as they walked down the school sidewalk.

A few people from school seemed to watch and gossip as Aiden and Jake started walking next to each other; of course the whole school probably knowing of this little date by now. "Don't let it annoy you alright, just ignore them and let's keep going." Aiden was almost surprised at how fast his reply was, he had only just started feeling annoyed barley a second ago before Jake tried to ease him on the situation. "I-I know that. I'm just, a bit easily annoyed from gossip is all." Jake could tell Aiden was feeling a bit awkward from having to be with him from this rather strange dare, so he decided that it was best to let him go at his own pace.

Eventually the two left the school away from any gawkers and just found themselves alone walking along the side walk. Raichu seemed to be rather happy and satisfied not saying a single word to him, being surprisingly patient to Aiden who didn't know what to think of this. *Man what's with this guy.. I thought perhaps he was going to maybe be the gloaty type, maybe a bit smug or in some way try to push himself on me. But he's being so oddly.. patient, like he already knew I was feeling awkward about this and was trying to make me relax. But now it's become less of not really wanting to talk to him and just legitimately feeling awkward. Here two of us are just walking together on some sort of weird pseudo date, completely alone and not really knowing what to say while I can't even pin his personality down like I thought.*

Aiden was feeling both a bit nervous and aggravated at the same time now. He didn't like being surprised in a way that made him feel like all his assumptions were wrong, nor did he have any experience with this sort of "dating" he was doing. Suddenly out of nowhere Jake gave Aiden a strong couple of pats on the back causing him to jump. Jake giggled at his nervous response. "Dude you got to relax a little, I don't even have to look at you to tell how odd you're feeling right now. Just think of this like getting to know me as a friend instead alright?"

Aiden did have to admit the guy was pretty good at making him feel a little better, nothing about him so far seemed like he was remotely any kind of bad guy. He also realized how obvious he was making himself and decided to actually take his advice. "Al.. Alright.. It's just a little uhm... weird for me, I'm sorry." Jake giggled a bit more and smiled. "No worries, let's just keep walking and we'll talk more once we get there."

Eventually the two made it too the movie theatres even though Aiden was still feeling a bit conflicted about the whole thing. As both of them were about to enter Jake suddenly noticed something sticking out of the trash can, some sort of colored ticket. Jake a bit curious took it out and saw it was a free coupon for one of their gigantic movie meals, he quickly went over to Aiden. "Hey check out what I got!" he flashed the coupon back and forth as Aiden seemed to notice what it was. "Oh you just found that?" Jake shook his head. "Yep, now we can-" "Aaauuugghh, I so wanted that meal though!"

Both of them suddenly looked over as they heard the screech of a teenager probably from there high school near the food line. "I'm sorry miss but you're four dollars short, we can't give you the jumbo meal." The young female Meowstic looked severely disappointed. Jake looked down at the ticket he was holding then looked back at her. ".... Hold on a second Aiden." Jake without must hesitation started waking over to her while Aiden followed suit a bit curious on his plan.

And without saying much to her Jake suddenly extended his paw with the coupon to her. "Here take it." The Meowstic looked up a bit confused at the ticket then at Jake. "Huh?" Jake shook his hand a little. "Here it's a coupon for what you were wanting, take it I don't need it." Suddenly the Meowstic looked up at him with really big eyes. "F-For me? But this is yours I don't want to take your food away." Jake shook his head. "Eh I just found it in the garbage anyways and wasn't really starving or anything, you'd probably enjoy it more than me *especially after all that moaning you were just making for it* so just take it alright." Suddenly the Meowstic got a burst of energy taking the coupon and jumping in joy! "oh thank you thank you! I always wanted to... uhm. Wait a second, you're Jake aren't you!"

Jake suddenly looked a bit nervous. "Uh I mean maybe, look just" "Oh my god you really are as nice as everyone says! I can't believe you've been keeping this coupon and would just give it to me like this!" Jake shook his head a bit nervously.
