Journey: Chapter Two
Chapter 2
Lief was awoken in late hours of the morning, shooting up in from the bed as a loud crash came from the other room. He whimpered loudly, grabbing the bed sheets to cover him as he looked around the small room, looking for any danger that could be mere meters away. Had a man come in and found him asleep? Had some old client he pissed off put a bounty on his head?
Once the small vulpine had seen the room was empty, he gave a soft sigh of relief and laid himself back down on the bed. Smiling and giggling as his butt had that gentle tingle one had after a night a passion.
He rolled over giving the other side of the bed a soft sniff. The scent of last night sexual encounter filling his nose and sending a familiar euphoria through his body.
He murred softly as heard the door being opened, his green eyes flicked over to see a familiar Tiger peaking in. His paw slowly slid up from the side of the bed, and gently waved at the Tiger, whom chuckled seeing the naked and happy vulpine laying in his bed.
"Morning." The Fox murred,
"Hey," Writhe chuckled, "I can't leave right now, so come out when you're ready."
Leif nodded his head, laughing as he got a wink from the Tiger before he closed the door.
The Fox went to push himself up, but after finding it a little too difficult first thing in the morning, he just decided to quickly snuggle into the mattress for a few moments before he got changed.
He murred in the warm thick blanket that was draped over him, breathing in the musk of the Tiger he had laid with all night. He moaned over how soft the goose feather mattress he laid on felt under his body wondering how much it must have cost him.
He had slept on very few comfortable beds in his life. Most of which he was kicked out of when his job was done, but this bed was one he could sleep on for a very long time and never need to change it.
He groaned as he heard yet another crash from outside, knowing now he had to get up to probably give the Tiger a hand in the bar. Try to fix the things that broke and maybe even mix a few drinks if Wraith taught him.
His family was gone. He had five and a half months to get used to this fact. There was no point dwelling. He would miss them, he would mourn them when they were gone, but he had to look after himself now. He could use a job and a place to stay and maybe if wraith wanted... Maybe he could use a lover?
He slowly rolled off the bed and groggily waddled over to his pants that lay in a heap on the floor. He groaned as he kicked his hind paws into the leg holes before slowly sliding them onto his legs and lower body with ease. After quickly tying them up, he grabbed his coat laying just next to him and pulling it onto his form. The familiar warmth and silky feeling covering his body made him feel so safe, and so at peace. Like when his mother used to cover him in blanket when he was cold.
He tied the cloak up at the bottom of the hood and padded to the door, opening it up and with a surprise yip, ducking down to dodge a flying bottle.
The Fox sighed in annoyance before taking a quick look around making sure that as he stood, nothing else would require him to move out of the way.
He gently stood up and began to make his way through the surprisingly large crowd. Some were fighting, some were drinking, and others were trying to prove how much stronger they were then another.
The silver Fox just rolled his eyes at the men and women and just moved through to the bar, having to duck under a large sword to do so. Leif got himself to the bar and smiled as he found Wraith cleaning a few glasses.
"Do you actually serve anybody?" Leif asked, smiling as the Tiger laughed,
"Sometimes little one," He said, putting the glass down and pulling the little Fox into a hug. The two of them smiling as they stood nose to nose.
"Hey there." The Fox giggled,
"Well good morning." The Tiger purred, gently placing his lips onto the Fox's.
"How'd you sleep?" the Tiger asked, after gently letting the small Fox go,
"Like an infant." The Fox murred, stepping off to the side to let the Tiger work.
"Well that is good," The Tiger purred, gently cleaning the last bit of the glass. Leif was about to ask if he could help in anyway, but before he could even mutter a word, the small Fox had to turn and flick his hood up. Facing away from the crowd in the bar.
"Bar keep!" A familiar rough voice called, the Tigers head looking up with a smile.
"Yes sir?" the Tiger asked as his smile gently turned unimpressed as a now eye patched Darius sat himself at the bar. An upset blood stained face looking at the tiger.
"A mug of ale!" The Bull ordered, the Tiger just nodding his head and grabbed a mug from his right, turning around to one of the many massive barrels. The Tiger put the mug under the nozzle and with a pull of a cork, a steady stream of frothing drink began to fill the mug nice and quickly.
The Tiger filled it until the foam seeped off the sides, pushed the cork in quickly and gave the now full mug to the Bull.
"There you are," The Tiger said putting the mug down, "Two coins."
"Oh come now Wraith," the Bull groaned, "I just got out of the medical house. Cut me some slack here please would ya?"
"I would, if you didn't kick up shit last night." Wraith said in a gentle growl, "Took me an hour to mop up your blood."
"Well that's hardly my fault the little slut and the Dragon pissed me off." Darious huffed, pulling out the two coins in his pocket and sliding them over to the Tiger.
"Thank you." He said, sliding the coins into the vault below him,
"Tha..." The Bull began, but he never got to finish. His eye wandered over a familiar black cloak and his fist crushed the mug it held.
"So you slept with the whore did you?" Darius growled as the Tiger stood,
"He is very kind and gentle Fox Darius, and if you insult him once more I swear to Tempras I'll... Hey! Where are you going!?" Wraith growled as the Bull shook his head and left, making his way over to the little slut that left him blue balled and with one less eye.
He growled as he grabbed the Fox by his little arm and pulled him around, his throat letting out a loud yelp as he turned to face the large bovine.
"You little whore!" The Bull growled as he stared the young male in the face.
The Fox yipped and looked up at the one eyed Bull who gripped the Fox by the clock and pulled him in closer to him, "You wont fuck me, but you'll fuck the guy who'll give ya free drinks."
"I had n-no interest in you, he got me interested." Leif said as kindly as he could gripping into the thick fingers that held him. The Bull growled and grit his teeth as the Fox spoke.
What was wrong with him? He had a nice body and heavy meat hanging below his legs. He would have had the Fox begging for more! And here he was not even willing to give him a try.
He pulled his arm back quickly, his fist ready to slam into the Foxes face; but a sharp Line across his throat held him still.
The Bull was just about to let his fist fly, but Wraiths blade at his throat told him that that was not going to happen.
"Let him go!" The Tiger growled, the room now silent as a grave. The Bull just smiling as he looked down at his measly blade,
"You going to slice me open?" the Bull chuckled,
"Or poke out your good eye." The Tiger threatened. The Bull glared at the Tiger as he spoke,
"You hold your tongue feline!" The Bull said loudly,
"Let the Fox go!" The Tiger commanded, his voice even louder now, "Then get out of my tavern."
The Bulls eyes squinted gently as he store death into the Tiger. His hands forcefully letting the small Fox go and slowly backed away. He didn't need to die over one slut, and going into battle with the Tiger would surely result in a large gash in his body.
Leif whimpered as the Bulls finally released him, his first instinct to get behind the Tiger while Wraith pushed him back.
"Are you alright?" The Tiger asked,
"I'm fine Wraith." the Fox said gently.
"Swine, the pair of you." The Bull growled.
"Get out of my tavern." The Tiger growled, his green eyes staring the Bull down.
"As you wish." the Bull said as he walked back to his drink, "Been drinking here for years you know?"
"And you could have drunk for many more." Wraith growled back, watching as the bull grabbed his mug and began to guzzle down the ale inside, the final drink he would ever have from this Tavern.
He took nice and slow gulps, letting the ale trickle down his throat as every eye watched him.
The Bull didn't take the mug from his maw until every drop was in his belly, and once it was empty Darius slowly began to put the mug on the table.
Leif's eyes watched the mug slowly, watching for any sign that the Bull was going to harm him. He watched intensity as his body quivered, and his eyes began to sting just slightly making him whimper. He rose his paw and gently gave them a quick rub. He looked back up at the Bull, wondering what his plan was, and why he was taking so long to put a mug of ale down.
"You just lost a very loyal customer you stupid cunt. All over a sluts hole." The Bull said with rage in his throat.
"Leave Darius." Wraith growled, his paw gripping the blade in his paw tighter. "You are no longer welcome in this Tavern."
"Yeah," he chuckled, "I honestly don't care!" The bull yelled suddenly, the mug he had in his hand being thrown over towards the Tiger. Leif backed away from the Tiger as both eyes watched the mug until it slammed against the wall after Wraith quickly moved out of the way.
Leif watched from the ground, watching as Wraith turned back towards the Bull with his fist ready to attach, but as Darius's blade stabbed deep into his skull; the Tigers body stopped in its tracks. Wraith was almost still as the his body began to tremble while blood began to pour down the side of his head.
Leif's eyes grew large as he backed away further, whimpering loudly as he watched the Tigers blade drop from his paw.
The Bulls lips were smugly turned as he watched the felines life slowly escape his body. He watched the Tigers lips take there final breath just before the large Tiger fell to the floor.
"Pathetic." The Bull laughed as he looked down at the lifeless body below him. Smirking as he looked over at the smaller Fox. His body quivering with utter fear, while his coat lay open. The Bull groaned as his eyes drunk in the small frame that lay before him. "I believe you owe me an apology."
Leif yelped softly as the Bull began to make his way over to him, He rushed to his feet and jumped onto the counter. His plan was to run out the door, to try and run from this place, but as he was about to jump, a thick hand grab his tail.
Leif yelled out in fear, his claws digging into the bar he was being pulled onto.
"Let me go please! Please I'm sorry for disrespecting you sir!" He pleaded out, tears beginning to well in his eyes as he was forced over the bar. His eyes shooting over to the large group of men around him. All of them smiling as they watched the little fox struggle and plead.
"I'm going to fuck you here little slut." Darius explained bluntly, "In front of every single man and women in here. Then, they are going to have a go after me until every single man in here is satisfied.
"You are very kind Darius." Came a deep chuckle, a horse from the side of laughed moving his way up to the pair of them. Leif whimpering as he felt his pants being torn away, his body struggling to no anvil as he tried to pull himself away.
"Carnell, hold his wrists will you." The Bull asked, the horse nodding his head and making his way over to very tightly and roughly hold the Foxes arms down.
"May I use his maw?" The horse asked,
"I'm not going to be." The Bull laughed, Leif yelping as he felt a hard throbbing presence on his rear. He turned around and with a last attempted, lifted his hind paw and shot it out, missing the bull completely.
Darius laughed as he grabbed the leg and slammed it down, under the table Leif laid on. Leif whined and went to move again to try again, but a sharp burning pain blazed through his leg, as Darius's knife stabbed through his calf completely pinning it to the table.
Leif screamed at the top of his lungs as the pain ran through his body. It hurt more then any stretching he had ever felt, more painful then any beating he had been given.
Tears ran down his cheeks as loud sobs escaped his chest before he felt the bull back at his rear end.
"Open up now foxy." The Bull chuckled before he gave one hard thrust in making Leifs eyes shut tightly as a loud scream escape his maw.
"Get out of my tavern." Wraith growled, Leifs eyes shooting open as his pain in his leg was gone, and the Bull was no longer in his rear
"As you wish." the Bull said as he walked back to his drink, Leif was trembling as violently as he began to look around.
What was happening? Wraith was dead! How was he standing there? Leif looked over at the Bull who was standing over his drink now,
"Been drinking here for years you know?"
"And you could have drunk for many more." Wraith growled back, watching as the bull grabbed his drink and began to guzzle down the ale inside,
Leif began to wonder how the hell he had travelled back in time. Wondering how the fuck he had done the impossible. He reached behind him, and began to feel around for his wound, his breathing getting faster as he couldn't find it.
Did that mean he healed himself as well? No; that couldn't have been it... Then... He had a vision? If that was so, then that would explain it a lot easier. No wounds, no death, no feeling drained from using the flow.
That means... He had a second chance.
"He's going to throw the mug at you Wraith." Leif whispered,
"What?" the Tiger asked
"He is going to throw his mug at you, then when you turn around he's going to kill you." Leif whimpered softly as the Bull drunk his ale. Wraith looking back confused at the small animal, about to question his knowledge. But the fearful look on the fox's face told him he didn't need to doubt his words.
The smaller being looked petrified, when only a second ago he was just fine. This just brought so many more questions to his head while before he heard the Bull take his final obnoxious gulp.
"You just lost a very loyal customer you stupid cunt. All over a sluts hole." The Bull growled over at him.
"Leave Darius." Wraith growled, his paw gripping the blade in his paw tighter. "You are no longer welcome in this Tavern."
"Yeah," he chuckled, "I honestly don't care!" The bull yelled, and as his paw threw the Mug. Leif stepped forward and caught it in his little paws. Taking it with him as he ducked down under the bar. As he did, Wraith watched the bull reaching for his blade, his eyes wide in amazement as he realised his little fox was right.
He growled as he leaped onto the bar, twirling his dagger in his paws before slicing through the Bulls throat.
The pub was silent.
Not a single sound was heard throughout the entire pub as the Bull look at the Tiger with fear dwelling in his eyes.
He was dead. As soon as he bled out, he was gone form this world. He trembled as he felt the blood dripping down his body and watched as the darkness covered his eyes. He couldn't breathe, he was slowly drowning.
He fell down to his knees as he began to feel light headed, while the room began to spin. Loud, wet gargles escaping his maw as he fell to the floor. The last thing he saw was the Tigers foot stepping down before him, before blood began to seep out of his throat and through his maw.
"Good Riddance." Wraith growled as he ran his blade in-between two fingers, flicking the blood he collected onto the body below him. "Whoever takes care of his body can have what's on it." Wraith said as he padded back over to the bar. Not really caring if anybody had taken his words or not.
He made his way into the bar and slowly knelt himself down behind the Trembling Fox.
"Are you alright kit?" He asked, sliding his paw onto the Fox's back gently.
Leif gave a loud sigh of relief and nuzzled into the Tigers body, giving his cheek a soft kiss of happiness.
"Thank god you are alright." Leif whimpered, his muzzle being gently rubbed against the Tiger neck who let out a soft sigh and hugged the Fox to his body.
"How did you know what he was going to do?" The Tiger asked him, giving his fox a gentle kiss to the side of his muzzle.
"I-I don't know..." The small Fox admitted, "I saw it all play out in front of me. Every single detail... I even felt the Bull stab me, but then suddenly you were alive again and it was like it never happened."
"You time travelled?" The Tiger asked, the mere thought of it making the tigers mind just explode.
"N-No... It was... um..." Lief stammered, trying to think of the word.
"He glimpsed." A familiar rough voice interrupted the Fox's thoughts, the two of them looking up over the bar to see a very unimpressed Drake. "Can I get a shot of Drakin?" he asked, his jaw moving up at down as the scaled being continued to chew.
Wraith and Leif stood up from the ground, the bar tender nodded his head and made his way over to the side of the bar while Leif looked over at the dragon confused.
"What are you doing back here?" Leif asked.
"Getting a drink," He said with a huff of laughter, "how was sucking cock last night?"
Leif blushed while he looked at the Drake with a hurt expression, the drake rose an eye brow, placing nine coins on the bar. "just askin'" he said bluntly before taking his shot and quickly shooting it down his throat with a growl of pleasure. "You alright old man? Would hate to see the only bar in Royah with Drakin be shut down."
"Fine." The Tiger muttered, uncaring for the drake's priorities.
"Me and Wraith have some things to discuss, so if you don't mind please leave us be." Leif ordered the Dragon, turning towards the Tiger to begin there discussion.
"You don't even know what you're talking about Tempori." The Drake huffed a laugh,
"And you do?" Wraith asked, The Dragon nodding his head a little. Leif looking over looking a little hopeful.
"Not much, but I know a bit." The Dragon said, placing his weapon down to the bar and taking his seat. "Keep the shots coming and I'll keep talking."
Leif looked over at the Tiger, his eyes pleading for the Tiger to allow the Dragon to have his drinks while he got the information he needed.
"I can't give you free drinks, all the other people in here will cause an uproar." The Tiger said, giving the Fox's paw an apologetic squeeze.
"Did you say free drinks?" a voice from around the bend asked, Leif looking over and having to stop his yelp. The Horse from his glimpse was standing right there with an upturned eyebrow.
"No, he didn't." Leif said gently,
"Oh no I heard him." He said with a chuckle. "Hey everybody! Apparently the Drake is getting free drinks!" The horse yelled out.
The entire bar just went quiet as a whole bunch of angered eyes looked there way. And Leif just sighed, putting his paws in his face in frustration.
"No! No he is not!" Wraith growled out, "He paid for his drink like you all did."
"But he's getting more though." The Horse asked, a smile on his mischievous face.
"Is the tiger pouring another drink?" Leif asked, sick and tired of the horse's attitude.
"Well no bu..."
"Is there more liquid being poured into his shot glass?" Leif asked, gently growling.
"You calling me a liar you little whore?" The horse asked him,
"Shut your trap before I shut it for you." Wraith growled over the Fox's shoulder. The horse gritting his teeth.
"Can I get another drink please." The Drake asked,
"Nine coins," Wraith snapped back at the Drake,
"No information for the Magic being then." The Drake chuckled,
"Why are you such an ass hole?" Leif asked, the Drake shrugging,
"So he was getting a free drink!" The Horse growled,
"That's not fair old man!" came a call from the other side of the room before a very loud uproar. Leif groaned as the large amount of animals began to yell at the tiger, some had there weapons drawn as they crowed the bar.
"Calm down now!" Wraith yelled out at the crowed but none listened, only louder yells were thrown at him.
Leif's claws began to dig into his skull, why did everything just have to blow up in his face? Why did everybody have to be so unforgiving and cruel? And why must people be such cunts!?
He felt ready to scream, he felt ready to fight, he felt ready to finally give back everything that was thrown at him. He couldn't hold back the growl that was building up in his throat. His fists were being filled with pressure he was so mad.
He heard every word, every insult and every threat that was screamed at him. He let his claws run down his face as he looked over at the drake who was getting very annoyed himself.
Leif was about to turn away and just barge into the room to be alone when three words found there way into his ear. Three words that just pushed the Fox over board.
"That'll teach them." Carnel chuckled.
The room fell silent as his rage just rushed through him. His paws just exploded as he slammed them onto the table with a loud roar.
"ENOUGH!" He boomed, thick power waves being fired form his paws, sending the large crowd of people flying backwards. Many landed on the floor, some landing on those people and some unfortunate souls landed on the weapons of the people on the floor. "Get out!" The fox screamed, his booming voice sending the crowd of people running out the door.
"Get the guards!" a very terrified Horse yelled in fear, running for the door. But as he took a single step outside, the fox slashed his paw sending the horse flying back into the tavern.
Wraith watched in complete shock as the once innocent little fox was now slowly levitating off the ground and his once green eyes now glowed gold as he made his way over to the Horse.
"Temporis aren't this powerful!" Carnel yelled out in fear, "What are you demon!?" He yelled in complete horror. Leif's arm rose out, his paw clutching the air which gripped the horses throat, and brought the horses body to his enclosed paw.
Leif looked down at the horse and gently growled.
"I'm your ending."
The Fox's spare paw fired up into his chest, sending a thick bolt of electricity throughout his body. The Horse screaming in utter agony as his body convulsed from the energy that was being forced in his body.
Melted flesh began to sizzle away as the horse screamed. Further and further the blasting currents sizzled and melted more and more of his body away.
The Dragon was at the side of the room, his fist clutching the hilt of his blade as he watched the horse being diminished. His eyes watching in horror like the Tiger beside him.
"Did you know he was this powerful!?" the Dragon asked,
"He could only use a lubrication and tightening spell!" Wraith yelled back, having to yell over the gusts of wind and loud crashes of thunder caused from the lighting.
The Horse soon found himself no longer able to scream, his vocal chords had been sliced causing further pain to course through the horses anatomy.
"Enjoy darkness you Filth" The Fox growled just before a loud boom of energy was fired from the Foxes body, the flesh and bone that made up the horse gone with that surge of power. Only a thick cloud of dust falling to the floor as the lightening cleared away.
"H-He's gone!" Wraith whimpered out, gasping as Leif's head shot around towards the two of them. The Dragon gripping his blade tighter.
"Still believe I'm useless?" Leif asked, slowly moving to the floor. The Drake looking at him questioningly as he slowly let go of his blade. Leif smirked as the glow in his eyes going out and his eyes gently rolled into the back of his head. The fox fell to the floor, his body exhausted from the sudden over use of his abilities.
Both Wraith and the Dragon were unsure of how to continue. The small vulpine had just taken down a large equine so easily, were they in any danger? They both looked at the unconscious fox, Wraith wanting to run over and cradle the vulpine, but what if he was mistaken for an attacker. The two looked at each other quickly, before Wraith began to slowly move himself over to the Fox.
He edged himself towards the Fox, watching for any movement or magic that could be a threat to him. He took it step by step, slowly finding himself at the end of the bar.
"Oh for fuck sake." The Dragon growled, making his way over to the fox like he was nothing more than a sleeping baby. He stomped over and once he stood over the fox, nudged him with his hind paw.
"He's fine." the Drake said before shaking his head.
Wraith sighing in relief before padding over to the fox's side and kneeling down. He slowly scooped his arms under the Foxes legs and head and stood with his fox in his arms.
"Poor little guy." He sighed, the dragon just laughing.
"The Fox just murdered a horse with lightening, he's not some poor little thing." The Dragon grumbled. Wraith rolled his eyes,
"Yes, because he seemed to have just so much control of his own body." The Tiger huffed, freezing as the small being began to groan into consciousness. The two larger males shared a fearful glace as the Fox's eyes began to open. Wraith getting ready to drop and run if he had to.
"What..." The smaller being asked, his voice sounding like his regular self again, "What happened?" he asked, Wraith just smiling as he gently leaned in to lick his small nose.
"It was like you were possessed." Wraith said softly. "You threw the entire room around before throwing them out. A-And you may have murdered a horse."
Leif looked at the Tiger with a strange look. His face looking at the tiger as if he was insane.
"B-But how? I-I can't even use a blade!" The Fox explained,
"Well you can use lightening pretty well." The Dragon said, sounding amused with the fox.
"L-Lightening?" Leif asked,
"Yeah, lightening," Wraith said smiling a little for comfort.
"B-Bit I'm... W-Winter born?" Leif explained looking up at Wraith before flicking over towards the dragon. The now very confused Dragon.
"No, winter born's are Mind's. They use unearthly magic." The Dragon explained, "Summer born Body's are those who can use lightening like you did."
"But I was born on the winder solstice, eighteen winters last year." Leif explained, "My Mother told me that herself." Leif explained, the Dragon just huffing.
"Then your mother is either an idiot or got her information twisted." the Dragon chuckled, Leif just giving him an annoyed growl.
"Hey look at me." Wraith asked, the fox looking up at him as his light green eyes focused on his. "Y-Your eyes aren't green any more."
Leif looked up at the Tiger with a confused look, stepping down from the Tigers arms as he looked around quickly for something to see his reflection.
"Let me see your blade please." Leif asked, as his eyes fell onto his weapon. The dragon grabbing the hilt and pulling the large thick blade from its sheath and holding it out for the Fox to look into it.
He got up close, looking at his own now golden ringed eyes and whimpered as he just couldn't believe what he was seeing.
His dark meadow green eyes were gone. Replaced with the colour of metallic gold. He moved away from his reflection, whimpering as fear began to settle into his gut.
"What's going on with me?" Leif asked the Dragon who pushed his blade back into his holder.
"I have no idea." The Drake said,
"You said you knew things." Leif threw back at him, growling as he paced the room.
"I know what powers a child gets depending on their solstice they are born." He explained, "And how they can get stronger."
"oh so fuck all then!" Leif growled, his anger seeping through.
"I never said I knew a lot." He growled back,
"Yeah? Well that's fucking obvious isn't it!" He growled, "Just get out of here! I don't want you in my sight." Leif growled, padding over to the tiger and softly laying his head upon his chest. The Dragon rolling his eyes at the little sluts words.
"I am sure that you are just aching to get your slutty hole filled again, but I..."
"Fuck off." Leif growled interrupting the drake, "You rejected the only thing I needed from you so I don't really care for hearing your voice as of now."
"Watch your tongue whore." The Drake growled, his fist gently curling beside him. No whore spoke to him that way.
"Watch yours." Leif growled, turning from his Tiger, having enough of the Dragons shit. He shook his head and began to make his way towards the back room.
"Or what?" The Drake asked, "You'll gag on my cock?"
Leif growled as he turned on his heals, and with a quick, flick of his arm sent a thick large table flying towards the Drake. Leif yelped as he covered his maw, watching as the thick round wooden table flung over towards the Dragon.
His body seemed to just move as if he was expecting it. He turned on his heels and rose his arm up to quickly deliver a devastatingly strong blow with his elbow, the table was sent right into the floor and shattered as it made contact.
The Drake glared up at the Fox, his fists tightened as he store the little slut down.
"You dare attack me you foolish quim!" The Dragon roared, stomping over towards the Fox.
"No!" Leif yelled, "It just happened! I can't control my abilities!"
The Dragon growled as he store burning holes into the Fox's body.
"You are damn right you don't." he growled, "I don't take kindly to disrespect." He growled, Leif just rolled his eyes and shook his head.
Was he serious? He couldn't go three seconds without being rude and or insulting another person? Who was he to talk about respect?
"Says the Dragon who can't seem to show common decency towards another animal?" Leif said, lightly growling. The Dragons anger slowly bubbling inside of him as he began to walk over to the loud mouthing Vulpine.
"Decency doesn't exist in this day and age Fox." He growled, towering over the small being whose ears slowly fell flat against his head. The Dragon taking this time to smirk, in his dominance.
"No," The fox growled, muttering his words gently, "It doesn't exist for pricks like you."
"I'm warning you slut." The Drake growled, "The next ill word from your maw is going to get you into trouble. I told you I don't take shit. Especially from little magic pixies who can't even control their own powers!"
Leif's jaw clenched as he shot a look up at the Dragon.
"And I don't take shit from over fed cunts!" Leif growled, yelping as a smaller blade was gently pushed into his throat and the drake's large paw grabbed the back of Leif s head, keeping him in place.
The room was now silent as the Fox looked up at the drake with fear and anger. Looking at him in his angered green dark eyes as he waited for the blade to push into his flesh.
The drake looked down at him, waiting to see his next move. Whether it be to slice or whether it be to let the stupid cunt go.
Lief was frightened, there was no denying it. But there was no way in the seven corners of hell that he was going to let the Drake know that.
He knew that men respected bravery, so that's what he was going to show. He stared into the drakes eyes and swallowed down his fear and anxiety.
"What are you waiting for?" He asked the Drake, and watched as his face went from stern to confuse.
This little being should be whimpering for his life. He should be pleading for him to let him go, or hell offering him sexual pleasures. But there he stood with his blade to his throat and asking him to do it.
The Drake huffed and shook his head, letting the Fox go and putting his blade away. Leif gently swallowed down his whimper of relief.
"You're a lot stronger then you give yourself credit for." The Drake explained,
"I guess I'm over people treating me like a whore." The fox said with a sigh,
"Well you are one," The drake said, the Fox growling over at the drake, "But a Strong one."
"I have no idea which way to take that." The fox sighed, about ready to fling another table towards the scaled being.
"Just take is as me accepting your job request." The Drake explained, the foxes head firing up to look at the drake with a bewildered look.
Did he just hear him right or was he hearing things?
"Don't toy with me Drake." he said gently, "My family is on the line here."
"I'm not." He said bluntly.
"Why?" Leif asked, "Last night you told me no, and called me a fool. So what has changed?" he asked.
"What has changed is that you can look after yourself and you aren't some ponce who needs to be looked after all the time. You can stick your ground and you can defend yourself." the Drake explained, before rolling his eyes and admitting, "plus I need the coin."
Leif looked at him and couldn't even begin to understand what was going on. Was he actually accepting his job? Did he actually just get somebody to help him?
The Drake looked at the small Fox and just huffed in annoyance,
"So do you still want me or not?" he asked the Fox, who snapped out of his daze and began to nod his head,
"Yes! Yes of course, I just didn't expect you to take the job after you shot it down." The Fox said with a gentler tone.
"Alright then. We leave tomorrow morning at dawn. Don't you dare keep me waiting or the deals off." The Drake said before turning to the door and walking out.
"Yeah ok, hey wait!" The Fox called after the Drake and quickly running out on the balcony. "What's your name?"
"Why does it matter?" he asked not bothering to stop and turn to the running Fox.
"it matters..." Leif began, groaning before he quickly leaped down onto the ground and hurried after the Drake. "It matters because I'm going to be with you close to a month and I'd hate to be calling you ass hole the entire time." Leif said playfully, but the eyes he got from the dragon suggested that he was not the joking kind. "S-Sorry..."
The Drake rolled his eyes as he kept walking away, shaking his head with a sigh before muttering. "My name is Kiro."
"Kiro?" Leif asked, the Dragon grunting and nodding his head. "O-Ok well I will see you at dawn, at the tavern?" he asked
"Meet me by the river, south from here." Kiro commanded,
"Why?" he asked,
"Because there is a way out of here that is hidden from the guards." Kiro growled,
"Wh-Why do we need to hide from guards?" he asked,
"Because most of them have grudges against me because I kicked there asses." He growled padding a little faster hoping the Fox would just leave.
"B-But I need to register that I'm leaving." Leif explained, "I'm a Tempori."
"Oh for fuck sake." Kiro growled, stopping in his tracks and putting his paw up to his face and growling into it. He began to gently mutter to himself, while he tried to figure out a new plane that didn't involve him having to pass through the mass amounts of guards.
"We are leaving tonight then. Less guards and easier access out." Kiro sighed before turning towards the bar.
"Now where are you going?" Leif asked,
"Back to the bar, I'm not going to be touching liquor for a while, so I'm drinking." He said padding ever so quickly back. Leif hurrying behind him.
"You can't be drunk for tonight! The guards don't let intoxic..."
"Will you shut the fuck up!?" Kiro turned and yelled at the Fox. Who winced and backed up softly. "I fucking know how to get in and out of this stupid town. I fucking know that the royal guards have rules as to who can get in and out. I know that drunk people are ones they don't let in and out. But being a Dragon. I can't get drunk easily!"
Leif just looked up at the Dragon with a sorrow-some look on his face, nodding his head and just walking past the Dragon back to the Tavern.
"What was all that yelling?" Wraith asked, as the Fox padded back in.
"Just the Drake screaming at me for being nervous." Leif sighed, walking over to the Tiger with a smile. The Drake walking in and sitting at the bar.
"A bottle of your dragon liquor." The drake said, "and a shot glass."
The Tiger rose and eye brow, but shrugged as he pulled out a thick bottle with a black label surrounded with 'Danger' written over it. He put a clean shot glass next to him before gently saying
"ninety three coins."
"I'm doing your mate a favour, you can do me one." The Drake grumbled and pouring himself a shot and shooting it back. The Tiger sighed and nodded his head before padding into the back room and taking the Fox with him.
