Tina's Story Chapter 25 Three Stories
Tina is lounging outside their suite at the resort. The suite has a secluded area, which is hidden from the public. Taking advantage of that, Tina is lounging on a chaise, topless, her green polka dot bikini bottom untieed at the sides. It is a perfect day in Nassau; 78 degrees, and a light breeze. Ray, being the nerd that he is, sits at a table on his computer, when Tina calls him....
"Husband? Can you get me a water?" she inquires hopefully, too comfortable to move a muscle.
"Uh, sure, hon." Ray trundles off inside. In a moment, he returns, with a bottled water, and a present...
"I forgot, hon, I got you a wedding present....."
Tina, being who she is, forgets all about the water. She tears at the pretty package, opening it in a flash. Opening the box, she pulls out an elegant Blackglamma mink. She buries her face in it, smelling it's intoxicating scent, then rubs it all over her body. So excited is she, she forgets her bottom is untied. As she gets up to try it on, the little tie bottom falls to the chaise.
"Ray, it's BEAUTIFUL!" she says, twirling around in the coat, as Ray snaps a picture."
"Hope you enjoy it..." Ray replies
"Is it, I mean, uh..."
"Real as a heart attack." Ray responds, deadpan
Coming quickly to her senses...
"Ray, I can't. It's too much. We can't afford it.....not with babies coming" Tina observes, sadly.
"Look, we haven't talked before, but I guess we need to, since we're married, and looking for a house and all... Ray sits down next to Tina on the chaise.
"My grandparents...left me a little money" he continues "I guess they weren't sure this computer thing would work out, but when they died, they left me something. I was 15, and it's been there all this time."
Tina was confused
"What are you saying?" she asked "What did they leave you?"
"Not that much" he responded "Seventy five a year."
"Dollars?"
"Thousands." he replied.
"Since fifteen?" Tina began to do the mental math
"A million something. Plus, it's been invested, it did pretty well through the years. Of course, I've taken some out.
Tina felt lightheaded
"How much...is there?" she asked, nervously
"Two million, something"
Tina was dumbstruck
"Ray, why didn't you tell me?"
"You didn't ask" Ray smiled. "Actually, that's one of the many things I love about you. you didn't care. You fell in love with a chunky guy who only owns six shirts"
"But Ray, you don't act like a millionaire" she said, confused
"Money doesn't change anything." he replied, with pain in his voice "Look at my parents...with all they have, are they happy?"
"What does this mean, Ray?" Tina asked, with more than a little confusion.
Ray put his arms around Tina, naked but for her fur coat
"It means we can buy a decent house, in a nice neighborhood. It means you can work, or not, as you wish. Our children can go to school where we choose.."
Tina thought for a moment...
"I think I want to work. Not that it wouldn't be nice, but I think it's important. I want my daughter to see that women, that hybrids can do anything they want....and our son can see that, too. But tell me,Ray, you don't have to work, why do you?"
"I don't want to be a vegetable. I need a reason to get up in the morning. What would I do if I didn't work? I have friends, I learn stuff.....I.....met you!" Ray stopped, gazing lovingly into Tina's eyes.....They kissed, and he snapped a picture of his wife, in her new coat....and not much else.....
"Come on, everyone, Look!" KC shouted from her cubicle. The girls ran over "Tina has sent us vacation pictures?"
One by one, the girls came over...Rosa, Colleen, and Lydia, who was visiting....
"Hey KC, how's that doctor?" Colleen asked
"Well, I don't want to screw this one up.It's not like Bull; this one's a keeper"
Rosa leaned in to hear more...
"I don't want things to go the wrong way...so, we dialed it back after that first night. you know, no more...well, we still do .....things...but not that." she said, proudly.
"No....theeng?"Rosa teased
"Well," she said sheepishly"Other than last night"
Everyone leaned in for the juicy details
"We don't have much time, with his internship and all...well, he came over, after four or five days. He got some sleep, and he was all cleaned up in his scrubs..He came up behind me, and started playing with my tail" KC blushed
"And then?" Rosa teased
"Uh, I guess my panties kinda fell off"
"You did it?" Lydia asked
"Yea, right on the coffee table." KC admitted "Look! Tina sent vacation pictures!" she said, changing the topic They clicked on the pictures...the Rolls, the scenery, the view, the resort...then.....
"LOOK!" Rosa exclaimed "They gots MARRIED!"
Everyone craned their necks to get a look....
"That's them in front of a judge...a ring....a kiss...."
"THEY GOT MARRIED! the girls squealed
They continued flipping through pictures, till they got to the last one. They look at it carefully. finally, Rosa spoke...
"She flashed us!"
Indeed she had. the pictures that Ray took of the trip had a single picture, featuring Tina in nothing but a fur coat, and a smile.
"Nice Poodle cut" Lydia observed.
"Nice coat" Colleen observed
"That's so HOT" Rosa observed.....
Later that night, Colleen went to her AA meeting, as she did every night. She had committed to her sobriety, which meant doing 90 meetings in ninety days. At first, it was a welcome diversion from everything going on in her life. Now, it just seemed a chore. Each day she went, going through the motions. Tonight was no different. The meeting was halfway over, when Colleen went out for a smoke. She was out in the cold, on the church steps, when someone spoke......
"I hope you don't mind if I offer you some unsolicited advice...."
From the moment she heard it, Colleen knew exactly who it was....
"It's a lot easier if you don't treat it as torture..."
Colleen turned around. Suddenly she was face to face with someone she never thought she's see again
"Hello, Sean"
"Hello, Colleen"
The charming stranger was a tall, muscular Setter hybrid. He wore Donegal tweed, and smoked a pipe.
"Nice seeing you, Colleen...." he said, smiling
"I'd say the same, but for the fact you just disappeared from my life fifteen years ago....."
"That was wrong, and I know it." He said, with a strong Irish brough
"Wrong? that doesn't BEGIN to describe it! We were in love! We were planning a future! Then one day.....you just disappear.....she said, as a look of great sadness came over her face
"What? you couldn't face me? Not even send me a postcard?" Colleen fairly yelled, incredible anger welling up within her....
"Look. I've got a lot of explaining to do. At least give me the chance.....Let me buy you a drink....coffee"
He corrected himself.
Colleen stared at him, wondering who this man was, who she thought she knew so well.....
