'How would it feel like to die? Will I experience it, or pass out in pain?', He wondered.

Loud cries woke him up, he slowly opened his eyes and stared at his stomach.

'I see no injuries, nor did I feel any pain? They surely shot. Why I'm still alive?', Akira wondered.

He looked around slowly, before him lied Anonarans soldiers.

Some of them twitched slightly, the rest appeared to be dead.

Loud cries attracted Akira's attention, it was Anonaran, he was furious.

"Who was that? Who was that?", he cried repeatedly.

"When it comes to me, I would have let the soldiers only shoot you, but my father didn't want that," said a voice.

'This voice is that?', Wondered Akira.

"Who's that?", Anonaran screamed again.

Behind one of the mountains of garbage Kayla stepped forward, he had a Lupain infantry rifle in hand.

"My father may be old, but with two soldiers you can't stop him."

"How have you found us," shouted Anonaran.

"Since this Akira is here, I didn't let him out of sight. By chance I came across this device," he said, holding a small device in his hand.

"What's that?" Cried Anonaran.

"Some sort of tracking device I guess, the human woman carried it with her. I have found it and played around with it until I noticed that this is a device that shows Akira's position. I spent hours staring at the surveillance systems until I realized it. After my father had contacted me, I've took this device and searched for Akira. Then I found you and your people."

"You and your father will pay for this!", cried Anonaran and pulled out a gun.

He tried to shoot Kayla, but Akira, who had freed himself in the meanwhile, pushed Anonarans hand away.

"You bastard, we will kill you, just like we killed your friends!" Anonaran shouted.

His cry was drowned out by a loud crack, it was his hand.

Akira had squeezed it so strong that Anonarans bone gave way, he finally dropped the gun in pain.

"That was for you trying to kill me. Now you are going to pay for killing my friends," Akira said, knocking Anonaran to the ground.

"This is for Kai," Akira said, slapping Anonaran in the face. The blow was so violent that Anonaran thereby lost some teeth.

He struck again and shouted, "This is for Shakiria!"

"And this is for my little friend, his name was Shane," he sighed.

On his cheek ran down tears, then he struck with all his strength, but someone held his hand.

"Stop Akira, he has enough, he is still a member of the Council. If you kill him now, they will hunt you," Kayla said.

Akira looked at Anonarans face, from his nose and mouth the blood ran like streams, he also had several facial lacerations.

"You're right Kayla, I shouldn't kill him, the Lupains should kill him," he said, standing up.

"Anonaran you don't know how much can you survive," Akira said and grabbed his arm.

"What are you doing Akira?" Asked Kayla.

"He should suffer real pain," Akira said, kicking his knee several times against Anonarans arm, until finally a loud crack was heard. "So now I'm done with him."

Anonaran screamed in pain: "You will pay for this."

Akira hit Anonaran again in the face, so that it lost consciousness.

Loud footsteps came toward Akira and Kayla.

"Friends or Anonarans soldiers?" Asked Akira.

"I don't know," Kayla said, straightening his weapon.

A dozen Lupain elite soldiers surrounded them and turned their guns on both.

'What should we do? Will I now die side by side with this Kayla? He has saved me, but not voluntarily,' thought Akira

"Stop, don't shoot!" Someone yelled.

Behind the soldiers came out Blaidd and the remaining members of the Council.

"What happened to Anonaran? Who did this to him?" Asked Blaidd.

"I did this, I have no time to explain. I must instantly to my friends, perhaps they are still alive!" Said Akira.

"Why shouldn't they?"

"Anonaran said his people would be on the way to kill them!"

"I inform my units, we make our way to them."

"Thanks Blaidd."

"First infirmary or prison?", Ask Blaidd.

"Infirmary, he was going to kill Shane. It should look like a suicide!"

"This bastard."

Both ran as fast as they could through the huge Lupain ship, until they finally stood in front of Shane's door.

"Wait Akira, what if it's a trap?"

"I don't care, we can't waste a second!"

Blaidd pulled out a gun Lupain. "Here, take" Blaidd said, after he had opened the door Akira stormed into the room.

Blaidd followed him cautiously, "We're too late, he's gone!"

"Did a battle took place here?"

Akira stared at the bed and tried to reconstruct the events.

"No, it looks more like, as if he stood up."

"I'll send a search party out for him."

"No, that isn't enough, I have to find him, something bad could have happened to him. Anonaran soldiers want to kill him and my other friends. It isn't safe here."

A strange noise and a slightly distorted Lupain voice was heard.

"Who is this?"

"One of my men, we should urgently come to the prison wing," Blaidd said.

Both ran to the prison ward, there the encountered Blaidds people.

On the floor laid two Lupains, these were tied.

"What has happened here?" Asked Blaidd in Lupain language.

One of his soldiers said, "Once you have contacted us, we came across this scum here, they had planned to kill the prisoners. But apparently someone had freed them beforehand. We have tried to access the monitoring system, but the camera was turned off earlier."

"What is he saying?" Shouted Akira.

"Your friends are gone, someone has freed them before Anonarans soldiers came. We can't see who has been there, the camera was turned off."

"Are there no witnesses?"

"Perhaps, a Lupain monitors the prisoner, but he was defeated."

"Then we must immediately talk to him."

"Agreed," Blaidd said.

As they walked into the control room, a Lupain ran after them.

"What do you mean my prisoners are gone!" Yelled Kayla.

"You're not in charge here, get out!"

"No, father. It's my field."

"Kayla how many Lupains can turn off the cameras."

"Only a handful know the access code. Without this code you do not come into the system."

Kayla stormed forward and grabbed the knocked down Lupain.

Although he still got medical attention, Kayla shook him until he woke up, then Kayla yelled at him in the Lupain language: "Who was in the system, who knocked you down. Have you seen something?"

The Lupain replied briefly and gave Kayla a name, then he simply dropped him to the ground.

Kayla's face startled.

"And who was it?"

"It was Dhomos" he sighed.

"Dhomos, the black Lupain?"

"Yes, Akira the Black Lupain whom you almost killed."

"Just because you have given him the command to injure Shane."

"I wanted to fight and thou not, I had provoke you!"

Both bared their teeth and wanted to go at each other, but Blaidd intervened.

"Stop it, both of you! Now you calm down once and then we will find your friends. If Dhomos has the prisoners and Shane, then they are safe. I can not imagine that he would harm them. Remember Akira, as long as Anonarans soldiers don't have them everything is alright."

"What's with Shane, we don't know where he is. I have to look for him. He must be here somewhere on the ship."

Akira engaged Kayla and grabbed him: "Do you still have a second tracking device. Then we find him. Had Carol a second tracking device? Kayla, tell me!"

"I'm sorry Akira, she had only one and it only shows your position."

"Are you sure Kayla?"

"Yes," replied Kayla.

"Then I have to find him so, no matter how hard it is," Akira said.

Akira was frantically and was about to start running, but someone stopped him.

"You can't go away, the Council would like to talk with you about Anonaran."

"I don't have time, I have to look for Shane."

"Akira, this wasn't a request, I have a order to bring you to Faol and Amaguq."

"But I have to look for him, he is so small and can't fight back. I could never forgive myself if something happens to him."

"I'm sorry Akira, I have to take you with me. Either you come voluntarily or I have to arrest you."

Kayla approached carefully and slowly put his hand on Akira's shoulder: "You are wanted by our people, when your friends are on the ship, they will sooner or later be found."

"But that's not good enough, what if they're not looking right or what if they make a wrong decision?" Asked Akira.

"Akira, we clarify this afterwards, the longer we are here, the later you can seek for your friends."

"He's right."

"Are you coming now voluntarily with me Akira, or do I need to arrest you?"

"I come voluntarily," replied Akira.

"Then follow me," Blaidd said.

The three ran back to the infirmary, where Faol and Amaguq waited.

"Did something happen?" Asked Blaidd in Lupain language.

"Follow us," they said, and ran through a control room, everywhere were guards and soldiers.

After a while they reached a room in which Anonaran was.

While a Lupain talked with him and examined him, another one searched on the floor something.

"Anonaran can't remember the last two years, he knows neither the earth nor of all events of the last time", Faol said.

"How can we help?" Asked Blaidd.

"Perhaps this Lupain knows something, after all Anonaran wanted to kill him."

"I'll talk to him."

Blaidd turned to Akira.

"Has Anonaran told anything strange? Do you know of anything?"

"He said he wants to destroy the Lupains, he belonged to a different species. I think it called itself Kukamia."

Blaidd froze and turned slowly to Faol and Amaguq . After he had told them about the Kukamia, both were in panic.

"Akira, are you sure that he mentioned the Kukamia" asked Blaidd.

"Yes."

"Then we have a problem."

"I don't quite understand."

Blaidd ran forward and pointed to a trail of blood, it apparently came from Anonaran and ended in a ventilation shaft.

"No matter what was in Anonaran, it's gone. If it is the Kukamia, we have a huge problem."

"I still don't understand," said Akira.

"If the Kukamia managed to infiltrate this or other Lupain ships, then you can no longer trust anyone. Anonarans parasite is gone, he can't remember the last two years. That is, for more than two years we have Kukamia on this ship, who knows who is infected."

Blaidd took his communicator and spoke into it.

"What did you tell them, Blaidd?"

"I said, all subordinates of Anonaran must be arrested and that the ship is now under quarantine."
