Tales of Zootopia: Clyde and Soren Revisited
#15 of Tales of Zootopia
An alternate ending to the OG C&S. This one is way happier.
This is a story of Clyde Barker, a 19-year-old skinny, effeminate male Wolf with grey fur, and Soren Kissinger, a 42-year-old muscular, hypermasculine Lion with golden and brown fur. They were both homosexual. Kissinger grew up with parents that couldn't accept him for who he was, and Clyde was still living with parents that couldn't accept him for who he was. Clyde managed to pretend to be asexual (something his parents wanted more than for him to be heterosexual), and managed to stay in the closet until he went to a college psychology course being taught by Soren. During the class, Soren would often ask very smart questions, and Clyde and Soren started to fall in love with each other when they knew that the other was their intellectual equal.
At the end of class, Clyde stayed behind, having fallen for Soren. They talked about their lives, then they talked about politics and science, and grew closer to each other due to similar interests and ideologies. Then they set a date. That weekend, they were going to have dinner together at a five-star Italian restaurant, and Soren would pay for it all with no regrets and no strings attached. Clyde didn't tell his parents who the date was with, and even said that it was just between friends, but he told them that he was going to dinner at the restaurant with somebody who would comp the whole meal. They got there, and were hypnotized by each other's features before the food even got there. Soren liked Clyde's youthful, soft features, being very much into femboys (even having this one sexual quirk where he would watch porn of them having sex the same way straight and bisexual men watch lesbian porn, with the same mentality), and Clyde was enamored with Soren's rippling muscles and chiseled facial features. They wound up doing that one Lady and the Tramp thing with the spaghetti, and only stopped making out because Clyde's parents had walked in and caught them red-handed.
Clyde's parents said to him directly that if they ever saw him with another man, ESPECIALLY Soren, again, they would disown him and leave him to starve to death on the streets. However, Clyde kept meeting with Soren at the end of class, because nothing could keep them apart. However, eventually, the end of the semester came, and they might not ever see each other again. They decided that they couldn't stand to live without each other. Originally, they were going to go to a hotel and commit suicide together, but then I came in to save the day. How? What I realized was exactly how I created an alternate universe where I was born and raised in Zootopia (Tales of Zootopia: Albus, Farrah and Aslan): Time travel to an identical parallel universe.
I ran into them just as they were about to go to the hotel and take the pills and suggested that Clyde move in with Soren. Clyde agreed, then Soren agreed, and Clyde moved in right away. He didn't bring any of his things from his parents' house, because he didn't want any reminders of what transpired there. When Clyde finally graduated from college, his parents were in attendance, giving him judgmental looks. I was there too, right by his side. He knew just what to do then. He proposed to Soren right in front of the crowd, and Soren said yes. I was clapping and crying tears of joy, and everybody else was cheering, except for his parents. Afterwards, they went over to him and disowned him. However, he outright said that being disowned by the likes of them was one of the best things that could happen to him at that very moment. He even jokingly invited them to his wedding, but they agreed. There, I saw them exchange vows (Just to fuck with heteronormativity, Clyde was in fishy drag, wearing a beautiful dress), since I was chosen as the best man. Then, everybody cheered, INCLUDING the parents. Seeing an even more genuine love between the two than they had between themselves, where they were ready to die instead of live apart from each other, finally changed them. From that moment on, nothing could separate them. WRITER'S NOTE: This just makes me wonder: What if all these anti-LGBT people knew about something like this IRL? BACK TO THE STORY. Clyde started working as a professor alongside Soren, in the same classrooms.
