A short acrostic on a thing for which many search.

Hint: read the first letter of each line!

An Aching Acrostic

G one are the days of fervent, heated intertwinement,

O f twitching tails to slip so tightly underneath,

O f writhing hares to strip and lick from ear to sheath,

D espite my efforts, lust remains in confinement.

A nd yet, the merest thought of you I gladly greet,

N ear three glum years I've spent without your grace; a dream?

A nd still so unrelenting you do haunt and seem,

L ong have I searched for you; oh, shall we ever meet?
