"I've come to bargain.'
My first attempt at a Kirby story, feel free to tell me what you think. Possible Doctor Strange spoilers, I don't care.
This was it. The hero of Dream Land had flown into a world of pure darkness, his only weapons being a pair of staves that could conjure mirrors, a trio of emeralds from another world, and a flowing red cape that allowed him to soar high. His name was Kirby of planet Pop Star. He and his fellow allies, Meta Knight and King Dedede were surrounded by legions of Dark Matter, an unknown species with the power to blot out the sun for all times. Their leader, Zero was a malevolent being who wished for nothing more than to plunge all of existence into eternal darkness. Yes, great plan, I know. It's flawless. It's worked so many times. Somebody needs to find a better hobby

Knowing Zero was the cause of everything, Kirby took off into a jet black void, while Meta Knight, if Super Smash Bros is anything to go by, is superior to Kirby in virtually every way, stayed to protect the denizens of Dream Land. And King Dedede just prayed to whoever was their god that he wouldn't get possessed for the nine-thousandth time, before wielding his hammer to clobbah dat dere dark souls as revenge for possessing him.
Landing on a dark purple sphere, Kirby took a moment to inspect the gems he collected. One red, one blue, and one yellow. Closing his eyes, and focusing on everything that made him happy, the trio glowed and spun around his left arm, like a multicolored ring.
That's when the arena around him glowed with a blood red. Looking behind him, he saw none other than darkness itself, Zero. A pure white orb, and a lone dark red eye for sight, he glared at Kirby, with a look that could kill lesser beings. Kirby showed no signs of fear as he looked death in the face.
"Zero!" Kirby's high pitched voice squeaked as he walked towards the spherical atrocity. "I've come to bargain!..............Please?"
Thinking the star warrior was joking, Zero declared despite having no visible mouth "You have come to die! Your world shall now be my world, like all worlds!" Cuts opened across his body, as blobs of his own blood were fired like projectiles. On cue, Kirby's staves were raised, creating mirrors to deflect the blood. The defense proved nothing as the bloody attacks continued with full force, causing him to slide across the ground.
Impressed by the star warrior's resilience, Zero's eye glowed with a scarlet light, and a torrent of blood was shot like a laser. Not wanting to get another alternate costume because he already had a red costume, Kirby raised his right staff as the laser of blood was redirected, shooting in various directions, rendering him unharmed. Zero refused to be beaten, as his eye shined brighter, forming cracks around Kirby's mirror. He screamed, straining to keep his defense up, but it wasn't long before his vision was filled with red....and then black.

"Foolish." Zero declared as a black aura emanated from his body, and the skies of Pop Star soon blackened for all times...... Much to his surprise, he found his actions being reversed as if time itself was rewinding, and his memories vanishing.

Kirby stared at the ivory beast, taking note of the ring glowing on his arm. "Zero!" He cried once more. "I've come to bargain!"
Thinking nothing, Zero responded "You've come to die; your world shall now be my world like all-" Then he realized that he was staring at a warrior that he already killed. Backing away slowly, he questioned, "What is this? An illusion?!"
Smirking, Kirby replied "No, no. This is all real."
"Good." Zero declared with assurance. Jet black lightning suddenly fired out of his eye, killing Kirby instantly as his body crashed violently into a nearby rock.
His body vanished as another Kirby appeared, declaring once more "Zero; I've come to bargain!"
"You have-" Now Zero was becoming more and more confused by what he was seeing. "How are you doing this?"
Proudly holding his arm up, Kirby explained "Just as you and the Dark Matter are blessed with powers from another dimension, I brought a little from another. Allow me to demonstrate the endless loop of time."
Realizing he was being insulted, a fist out of his own blood had formed as Zero bellowed "How DARE you?!" As the fist dropped down, instantly "killing" Kirby again.
"Zero!" Kirby declared, as he emerged once again.
Beginning to sigh, Zero argued "You can't do this forever."
"Actually I can. And for two reasons."
"Why!"
"Well...." Kirby began. "First, the power of the Chaos Emeralds has granted me infinite lives. And two......" He suddenly revealed his greatest weapon, the Love-Love Stick, a weapon consisting of every positive emotion imaginable. "It's April Fools, everybody!!!!!" Wielding it, Kirby struck Zero down with a heart shaped whack, and the eyeball monster blew up into a mist of blood, his body overloading from such joy that Kirby brought to children everywhere.
"Go back to the Hyper Zone until HAL Laboratory finds a reason to make you relevant again." Kirby declared to the crimson pool. His task complete, he returned to Pop Star to clear all of Dream Land of the Dark Matter scum.
