Counter Earth Chronicles Chapter 116: Revival (Conclusion)
#117 of Counter Earth Chronicles
Last Chapter
Tauren, Lurie and Alex made their way to where one of the mysterious lights fell from the sky. Upon their arrival they meet with the occupants of a sky ship, a family on a journey to find a new home who 'broke down by the side of the road'. Lurie triages the ship, determining that it won't operate again without extensive repair. Given the severe time constraints and a lack of resources, she instead repairs the ship's transceiver allowing aliens to 'call' for help. To thank the coyote female for helping them during their time of desperation the family blesses her....
Counter Earth Chronicles
Chapter 116: Revival (Conclusion)
Day 943 (continued) ** **
It was a little after midnight when Lady Ursa, Tauren, Lurie and myself returned to the Frost's ranch.
"Did our guest get towed?" Gabe said as we entered.
"Not exactly, they were able to 'call' for help but they had to abandon their ship." The bull said.
"The empire will most likely find it during one of their patrols." Gabby said.
"It won't matter, the family took everything of value from it." Lurie said speaking in english.
"Not bad Lurie." I said to the 'yote girl.
"What?" She asked me.
"That was perfect english without an accent." I told her.
"It looks like Morning's blessing has revealed it self." My warrior bear said.
"What blessing?" Sorren asked.
"The female alien gave Lurie a gift to thank her for helping them." The bear said to the dragon.
"What type of gift?" Gabby asked.
"The ability to speak and understand english." The female coyote said astounded. "I just thought it was because Alex had his translator turned on."
"Nope." I said. "It has been down the entire time; it couldn't decipher the alien's language so I kept it turned off."
"I don't get it." The farmer asked. "What is Lurie's gift?"
"I think I understand." Gabby said to her husband. "But it is not just english. Madam knight could you say something to us in your language?"
Lady Ursa spoke to the farmer and his wife in her native tongue- bear.
"Tauren now you." Gabby said to the bull.
Tauren did as well and then Sorren.
Gabby, Gabe and I then looked at the female coyote.
"Lady Ursa said that it was getting late and we should call it a night. Tauren said that he was tired and Sorren said he didn't know how any of us could sleep after what we had experienced this evening." Lurie gasped astounding herself.
"For some beast that only understands Animalia and coyote, you speak bear, bull and dragon very well." Sorren teased.
(Wow, a beastial translator.)
"That is quite a blessing Lurie." My she beast said placing her paw on my shoulder.
"I guess that means you will no longer need to study english love or any language for that matter." The bull said to his coyote.
"I wonder if that is temporary or permanent?" Gabe asked. "Anyway its late to bed with you all!"
(Wow, after what we had just seen and experienced how could anyone go to sleep?!)
"Not so fast." Tauren countered. "We still have some matters to attend to."
"Like what bull?" The farmer asked.
"We should clean the yard and the house to erase all evidence of our visitor." Tauren said.
"Gabby is right the empire will most likely find the alien's ship." Lurie added. "And then will start an investigation."
"Everyone what happened this evening did not happen and we should never talk about it again." My lady bear said sternly.
"I see where you are coming from my lady." The minotaur said. "If the empire found out we were involved, it would lead to some uncomfortable questions."
"Mistress you are conflicted." I said taking her paw.
"I am. I should report what I have seen this evening. I am a knight and I am honor-bound to do so after all." My warrior bear said.
"Mistress you can't!" I said.
"Remember my lady you are technically off duty." The goofy dragon said.
"You are stretching Sorren." My she beast countered.
"And you are out of your jurisdiction." The coyote added.
"That is true Lurie." My fierce ursine warrior said.
"Besides our visitors have disappeared there is no one to capture, judge or punish for planetary trespass." The minotaur added.
"And that family was kind enough to do something nice for you dearie." Mrs. Frost said to the knight of Wundagore.
"So are you going to let this go or not?" Mr. Frost asked. "Look, the knight core will find the ship, they will conduct an investigation and ask questions. With any luck they won't find anything further."
"Very well. But when we get back to World One, we should be checked out to make sure that we weren't affected by any contaminants that could wipe us out and spell doom for the planet." Lady Ursa countered.
(I forgot about that.)
So for the next hour we cleaned the areas where Morning had 'walked' on the property.
Sorren and Tauren checked the yard, driveway and fields erasing all of the squiggle markings they could find. Lady Ursa and I did the same for the house while the coyote girl looked after the Frosts.
"Wow, everyone did such a great job." Gabby said.
"We should get to bed, I have a lot of interviews to conduct tomorrow." Tauren said.
"It would be best if we are bright eyed and bushy tailed." Sorren snickered.
"Um, what about sleeping arrangements?" I asked Mr. Frost.
"Well some of you can take the spare bedroom, where the previous staff used to sleep and the others can have the great room here." Mr. Frost said.
"Sorren, Tauren if you would be so kind." Mrs. Frost said.
Sorren and Tauren helped the elderly couple to their room. Before taking residence in the spare bedroom adjacent to the couple's room.
That left the great room for my fierce ursine warrior and myself.
"Mistress are you ok?" I asked as we made our way over to the sofa. "I know that once again we have experienced something quite profound."
"I don't know pet." My she beast said pressing a button on the sofa. "No one can prepare for what we have just experienced."
"You got a little taste of how I felt when I met you and the other knights almost three years ago." I said as the couch reformed into a bed.
"It makes you realize how small our world really is pet."
"And how freaking huge the bed in this room is." I said looking at the reformed couch complete with blankets and pillows all at a touch of a button.
We both switched to our night clothing before laying down on the bed.
"I think given where we are, we should forgo our normal activities." My she beast said to me.
"I wonder if that is going to stop the trio?" I said snuggling up to my warrior bear.
She lifted up her arm and pulled me in closer. When she did, I got a look at the alien marking in her arm pit.
"How does it feel to be free and off the grid?"
"It feels like a great weight has been lifted off of me pet."
"Good no more night terrors." I said resting my head on her chest and my butt in her crotch as we stretched out. "You are safe here with me now."
"We will see pet."
It was quite the weekend get away. We were reminded again that there was intelligent life in the universe- this time friendly intelligent life. All the same my mistress suggesting that Tauren, Lurie, her and myself be checked out by Lea when we get back to make sure we didn't pick up any biological contaminants from the family that could wipe out all life on the planet did disturb me as did the thing the tentacled eyeball creatures were 'running' from the Destroyer of Worlds, what is that?
It didn't take long for Lady Ursa to drift off to sleep. I soon joined her but as with anyone going to bed so late the morning came a little too soon.
Day 944
"Is it me or did this bed get awfully cramped?"
I looked over to my left and just happened to be staring at a snout, one that belonged to a red dragon. Next to him a grey bull and next to him a sleeping coyote.
"What the wha?" I am exclaimed.
"Shush. We are asleep." The dragon whispered.
"Um, didn't you guys have you own room?"
"Listen." The supposedly sleeping dragon said.
My she beast and I did. We heard the sound of someone snoring loudly down the hall.
"Sorren, you poor thing. Did the snoring octogenarian keep you up?" I teased the dragon.
Apparently the trio could hear Gabriel snoring right through the wall of the guest room, so at some point during the night they moved out into the great room to try to get away from the sound.
"Well communal sleeping is a wonderful beastial custom." I said hugging the goofy dragon.
"Well we at least we can sleep in for a little while." Lady Ursa said.
"And you can enjoy your first full day of freedom from the fear of being recaptured by the KLIS." I added.
"CHEF!!! WHERE IS MY BREAKFAST!" A grumpy old man called out breaking the morning silence.
(Wow, someone is a lite sleeper.)
"Duh? What?" Tauren said waking up.
"Is it morning already?" The 'yote girl said behind him
"That tends to happen when you go to sleep after midnight." Lady Ursa said.
"DRAGON? WHERE IS MY BREAKFAST?"
"I guess that would be you Sorren." I said to the groggy dragon.
"Looks like you are being summoned love." Lurie said.
"Augh!!!" The dragon groaned getting up.
"COYOTE!! OUR ROOM NEEDS TO BE REFRESHED!!"
"As are you love." The minotaur said.
"I can see why the previous staff left." Lurie said getting up. "That couple is very demanding."
"COYOTE?"
"Coming sir." Lurie said.
"BULL, DRAW MY MORNING BATH!"
"Yes, sir right away." The minotaur said jumping to life.
"Ms. Bear could you please do the same?" We heard an elderly female ask in stark contrast to her husband.
"Wow, that couple IS demanding." I said as Lady Ursa headed to the Frost's bathroom while I transformed the bed back to a couch.
That Sunday morning the trio, Lady Ursa and I continued to stand in for the Frost's servants- Sorren made a wondrous breakfast for the couple which they promptly ate in their dining room over looking their yard.
Afterwards Sorren cleaned the dining room and kitchen while Tauren and I bathed Gabriel making sure he was clean all over his body. My mistress and Lurie gave Gabrielle a sponge bath making sure she was also similarly clean.
(So this was the quality of life the elderly couple was used to in their twilight years? Wow.)
Tauren had cared for his former owners quite well, the couple was being spoiled, pampered and waited on hand and foot by servants in the comfort of their own home.
"So bull?"
"Yes Gabe?"
"What is on the schedule for today?" The elderly man asked.
"Trying to find replacements for your staff that left you." Tauren said carefully drying off the retired farmer.
"You mean your friends aren't staying?" Mr. Frost asked jokingly.
"Sorry sir, we are only on leave from the castle." The minotaur said moving to the farmer's back.
"That is unfortunate. Your boyfriend is probably one of the best cook's I have had in a while. Whoever you find has to be just as good!"
"Your clothes sir." I said handing the elderly man his shirt and pants.
"Come to think of it the rest of you aren't as bad either. When do the first candidates arrive?"
"Eleven this morning Gabe." Tauren said returning the towel back to the rack.
"Great you two have just enough time to clean yourselves up. I will be in the great room."
"Thank you my adorableness." Mrs. Frost said to her attendants emerging from her bathroom.
"I have seen things I can't unsee." The coyote said to the bear.
"Affirmative." The bear said to the coyote.
So while the couple relaxed in the great room the five of us bathed and prepared for the interviews that were to come. A little after 11 AM they started arriving.
"Ah yes come in, come in!" The bull said to a trio of oxen, two males and a female who were dressed like they were a maid and two butlers.
"We are here to inquire about the servants positions." The female ox said. She was slightly smaller than Tauren with curvy horns and dark tawny fur.
"Your listing on the hub said that the position would be caring for some individuals who are most precious to you." One of the males said looking at the ranch. "Quaint."
"Yes the owners of the this farm." Tauren said.
"Really who are they?" The other male asked.
"The Frosts." Sorren said pointing to the elderly couple in the family room.
"Oxen huh?" The retired farmer said. "They look quite strong."
"You want us to work for humans?!" The she beast exclaimed. "Ew."
"I don't bite honey. Unless you want me to." The retired farmer said.
"Sorry not interested." The three said making their way back to the hover vehicle."
"Was it something I said?" Gabe asked.
"That was quite rude." A coyote said to a bear in the shadows.
"Well that was the 11 AM appointment." I said dejected.
The next appointment was at noon a group of five raccoons showed. The didn't mind caring for the Frosts. But the farm work was the deal breaker...
"In addition to caring for the Mr and Mrs. Frost you will be responsible for tending the orchard, pruning trees and picking the fruit." The bull said.
"Wow, that is huge." One of the five said to Sorren and Tauren. "We would have to think about it."
Tauren and Sorren gave the five raccoons time to talk amongst themselves. Lurie, my mistress and I listened to them from the shadows.
"What are they saying?" I asked the 'yote girl.
"It is too much for them." She whispered.
Lady Ursa just shook her head.
The appointments kept coming. At one o'clock it was a group of deer who didn't like that they would be working for humans either.
At 2 PM was another cleaning service who would take care of the house but not the couple or their farm.
The candidates kept coming and kept falling like dominos. Some were hung up about working for humans, others were concerned that the farm was too far from the city proper.
It was around 3:20 in the afternoon when Tauren had dismissed the last interview a mare, stallion, mule and donkey who had gotten laid off, had extensive credentials but found it beneath them to work for humans.
"We will have to think about it." The brown stallion said as he and his group departed.
"They are not going to bite you!" Lurie called out.
"Yeah just work you to death!" The dragon snickered.
"SORREN!" Lurie, Tauren, my mistress and myself said chastising the goofy dragon.
"So bull, what did those four say?" The elderly farmer said joining us on the front stoop.
"All the wrong things." The Tauren said.
"I heard them say that they were laid off from their previous servant jobs. They just aren't desperate enough- yet." Gabe said.
"Perhaps we are going about this wrong. Maybe if you and Gabby moved to the city." Tauren said thinking out loud.
"Nothing doing. Have you seen what is going on within the empire?!" The retired farmer said. "I have no desire being pigeon holed into a designated human only area. Besides this is my home all of it. Tauren the answer is no." The retired farmer said walking back inside.
"We have to find them suitable replacements otherwise Gabe and Gabby will be forced to care for themselves." The minotaur said dejected.
"I know you can't let that happen love." Sorren said.
"Things will work out love." Lurie said to her bull.
"If not you can stay here forever!" An old man cackled from inside the ranch.
"You know we can hear you right?" Sorren said.
"Perhaps there is another way."
"Mistress?" I asked turning to the pensive bear.
"Tauren why not approach the former staff and see if you can convince them to come back?"
"I have several times. They are not interested and have moved on." The dejected bull responded.
"I have an idea- split the duties. Hire servants to only take care of the the Frosts."
"But what about the orchard pet?"
"Open that up to those who are seeking seasonal work." I said tossing out ideas.
"Or maybe we just need to make it worthwhile for those who don't want to come to the country to come to the country." Lurie said.
It was around 3:30 in the afternoon after we had went back inside when there was chime at the front door.
"BUTLER!!! There is someone at the door!" Gabe said.
"Which one of us is the butler?" Sorren asked.
"I will get it!!" I said making my way to the door. I was greeted to by two junior knights from castle Sogreth.
"Afternoon citizens." Two young gorillas in knight uniforms said stepping inside.
"Um, afternoon." I said.
"Shoulders please."
"I can assure you that we aren't rebels." Gabe said joining me at the front door.
"We know, but it is standard procedure."
Gabrielle, Gabe and I let the junior knights scan our tracking chips.
"Thank you Gabrielle Frost, Gabe Frost and Alex Winter." One of them said reading their scanner.
"Well I see you have company." The other gorilla said as he stared at the trio and Lady Ursa.
"Something we can do for you two?" Gabrielle asked.
"Ah yes, we are investigating reports of mysterious lights in the sky yesterday evening." The first knight asked.
"In regards to?" Gabe asked.
"Did you see or hear anything out of the ordinary?" The second knight asked.
"There have been strange lights in the sky around here for years. I called them in at first but now, I just have gotten used to them." Gabe said.
"They are quite pretty." Gabrielle added.
"Yes." My she beast said joining the elderly couple. "They were a stream of lights in the sky moving toward that direction around 9- 10 PM." She said pointing southward.
"They were the darnedest thing you had ever seen." Tauren added.
"Why do you ask?" Lurie said.
"We found physical proof that they were more than just lights." Came the response.
"Can you be more specific?" Sorren asked.
"Afraid I can't." The other knight said.
"What are you two saying?" I said looking at the young gorillas. "Aliens?"
"Well there have been reports across the empire about off worlders visiting this world and taking its inhabitants." Gabe said.
"Are you saying that there is conclusive evidence now?" Mrs. Frost asked.
"We can't say that either. But if you see anything out of the ordinary don't be afraid to contact us." The two said as they departed.
"Those two must be new." My she beast said crossing her arms.
"Really? How do you know that mistress?"
"They didn't recognize that I was a knight of Wundgore and your owner after scanning your tracking chip. They didn't notice that the you and the Frosts weren't nervous around them (like most humans speaking to knights) or the set of squiggle marks on the hallway floor we missed while cleaning."
(Wow, she is good.)
"Despite all that, their non-answers seems to indicate that they found something." The bull said to the rest of us.
"I wonder if there will be an announcement about it?" Sorren asked.
The rest of us decided not to make any further comments just in case the knights of Wto hear us talking amongst ourselves. That would lead to a lot of uncomfortable questions. For example why didn't you call us when you met a group of eyeballed tentacled creatures who crashed not far from here?
As afternoon turned to evening and the curfew approached we decided to settle down to dinner and then a highly recommended movie....
"I understand Mr. Felt that you have some vital information that could be very useful to our cause." A lion warrior said addressing his drinking companion at forgotten bar and tavern in the middle of no where.
"I told you many times Mr. Griek that I am not interested in your group or its cause." The boar said sipping his soda.
"I find that hard to believe!" The lion said to the boar. "You as well as I know that the ruling council is beyond corrupt and has done nothing to address the pain, misery and suffering that each and every citizen has been burdened with for the last five years!"
Hearing the lion warrior's plea, the boar stopped sipping and stared at the would be anarchist rebel- the warrior's blue eyes, the thick bushy mane, the scar that lined the bridge of his nose, his strong upper body tucked behind the armor plating and shoulder pads.
"And if you and your group successfully over throw the corrupt government then what would you do?" The boar asked challenging the lion warrior. "Take over and rule in its stead?"
"No. A provisional council will be set up to explore and form a more stable government. One that would address all of the citizens problems so that no one would feel helpless and hopeless. This is what my group is fighting for Mr. Felt!" Griek said staring around the small dive they were in. No one had heard him.
The boar continued to stare at the lion warrior... thinking.
"I know you know a way into the council chambers. With your assistance this could be a bloodless revolution. With a revolution our lives would change, your life would change. Possibly for the better. Mr. Felt what is the alternative? More of the same? What do you have to lose?" The lion warrior said pleading his case.
"FINE!" The boar said. "But my price his very, very, very, very high Mr. Griek."
"If you get us the information it will be worth it." The lion warrior said. Standing up from the table they were seated at in the small bar. "Name your price."
"YOU." The boar said standing up.
"Me?" Griek said asking the boar.
"You will be my possession for the rest of the night." The boar said smirking.
The lion warrior eyes opened wide when he realized what the boar was insinuating.
"If that information is really important to you, I will see you upstairs within the next thirty minutes." The boar said as he left the table and walked back to his room above the bar.
It was about twenty minutes later when he received a knock on the door. It was the lion warrior.
"Nice room for such a place." Griek said as he walked in.
"It is small, but comfortable, clean and very private. We won't be disturbed." The boar countered.
"Some I am yours for the night?!"
"Yes, Mr. Griek. Now why don't you remove your armor and slip into something more comfortable like your birthday suit."
The lion warrior slowly and very reluctantly disrobed. As he did the boar admired his reluctant companion, his brown fur, the moderate build the warrior had, his small tight butt and the fact that he belonged to him for the night.
"Excellent my warrior, lie face down on the bed."
Griek did as he was ordered. The boar soon approached him and started an gentle shoulder massage feeling the warrior's supple muscles, their bulk, their color and tone.
Mr. Felt moved down the lion warrior's back, touching and kneading Griek's muscles. When he approached the he beast's naked rear, he abruptly skipped over it focusing on the legs, foot paws and tail.
The lion warrior was starting to enjoy the gentle attention before he felt two paws, abruptly and suddenly grab his rear.
*GASP*
"Now Mr. Griek there was no way I could possibly ignore that."
The lion allowed the boar to grope and fondle his bottom. Before climbing onto his back and nuzzling his mane.
"Mr. Felt you have been an admirer of mine haven't you?" Griek asked putting aside his nervousness.
"Let's just say I have a thing for big cats. Now roll over."
_"Hmm?" _
"It is time to do focus on your front."
Griek did as ordered and soon found the boar massaging his his neck, shoulders, chest, torso, legs, arms, paws, foot paws before focusing on his groin. Much to the lion's surprise.
*GASP*
"Now, now Mr. Griek no massage would be complete without a happy ending."
"I... I am not sure about this." The lion warrior protested.
"Say you want a revolution..." The boar started to sing in the warrior's ears.
_"Very well." _
The lion grunted as the boar climbed on to his waist with his back turned.
Once comfortable Mr. Felt started feeling up the lion's unmentionables, massaging the he beast's scrotum trying to coax out the penis from its protective sheath. Eventually he did. The boar started masturbating his companion- inch by inch Griek's flaccidity faded. The boar loved every second.
"Magnificent, just magnificent." Mr. Felt said as he ran his paw up and down the now erect penis in a smooth steady rhythm."
"Is this really necessary?" Griek moaned.
"Now, now my warrior you wouldn't deny me my souvenir would you?" Mr. Felt said speeding up. "Now would you do me the honor of roaring when you pass your limit?"
The lion warrior continued to moan during the boar's administrations. Mr. Felt kept a keen eye on the testicles just below the penis looking for the key indicator that would let him know that his lion was going to pop.
A moment later the golden orbs drew inward as the moaning lion started grumbling. It was time. Mr. Felt quickly reached for a flask he had hidden on his person just as the lion warrior reached his peak.
RAWWWR!!!!
_The boar watched as the lion spurted and spurted and spurted his hot seed into the flask. _
"Wow you were pent up Mr. Griek. No significant other in your life?" The boar said as the lion finished blowing his load.
"I am married to my work." Griek said when he could form a coherent thought again.
Mr. Felt placed the flask into a drawer and turned around to hug and snuggle his companion. "So soft."
"Mr. Felt, I have kept up my end of our agreement...." The lion warrior started to say.
"Everything you and your cohorts will need is on the night stand. But your are mine until morning my warrior." The boar said as he laid his head on Griek's chest and started to drift of to sleep.
"The things I do for the cause." The lion warrior said hugging the now sleeping boar.
Griek departed the boar's room bright and earlier the following morning thanking the boar for the vital intel he and his group needed, but not for the nocturnal company.
_A hour later Mr. Felt visited a young lioness who was day dreaming behind the bar. _
"Penny for your thought sweetie?" The boar said approaching the she beast.
"Just daydreaming about us, and if we can ever start a family. I suppose we could adopt." The lioness sighed.
"Actually sweetie I think I can give you what you want and more." The boar said smirking at his she beast.
"How is that even possible Felis?
"I know of a way Felicia...."
The movie abruptly ended after that scene.
"Why did we decide to watch this?" Mr. Frost said blushing.
"It was highly, highly recommended." Tauren said calling up the virtual display. "See five stars."
"But only ten reviews." I said looking at the display.
"Wait a minute scroll down." Lurie ordered her bull. "Those reviews are by the same person."
"Ten reviews by the same person?" My warrior bear said.
"Who was it?" Mrs. Frost asked.
"Someone by the name of S.D." The bull said. "That person thought so highly of the movie they left ten separate five star reviews."
"Whoever, did that must truly be nuts." Gabe said.
It was at that moment everyone in the room turned and stared at the goofy dragon who just smiled.
"Great movie huh?" Sorren asked.
"That is the last time we let you chose!" Tauren said.
"I seem to recall you had that conversation before!" I said as the Frosts laughed.
"It is so nice to have company." Mrs. Frost said.
"The movies could be better though." Gabe added.
"How is that?" Lurie asked.
"You animals need to put more humans in your films." The retired farmer said as our evening was interrupted by a news alert. The report was anchored by a young cute foosa from the hub studios in World Five.
_This is a news alert. We have learned that the Knights of Sogreth Castle in World Four recovered a downed alien spacecraft this afternoon. The vehicle was believed to have recently crashed in the countryside south of the city, its occupants vacated it shortly afterwards. Their whereabouts are unknown. This adds credence to the suspicion that Counter Earth is being visited by extraterrestrials to what end is unknown. _
Upon examining the sky craft the knight core determined that it had been gutted almost completely. However, a few items were recovered. For instance the knights of Sogreth were able to provide us with this image they secured from the craft, possibly of one of its occupants....
The news alert concluded with a picture of a dark grey tentacled red eyeball.
The knight core is encouraging all citizens to remain alert and to report anything out of the unusual.
It looks like Morning and her family missed somethings when they abandoned their ship.
To Be Continued....
