Blood Brothers: Initiation
One year after their encounter with the mysterious lycanthrope twins Larc and Carl find themselves rooming together in college, the older of the pair embracing his instincts after his transformation, however, a trip to a secluded section of forest will lead the brothers into an encounter within another lycanthrope which will forever change their lives...again.
Larc had to admit, his brother had been spot on with this decision.
Getting out of the city and going on a pokemon research expedition was just what the restless lycanthrope needed as he hung his head out from the aged van the students had been given for their week long assignment. It was hard, but the black haired teenager just managed to keep from lolling his tongue out from his mouth. The last thing he wanted to do was embarrass his brother by acting like some common mutt, but with the sweet autumn wind blowing over his neck length dark locks it was a hard pressed thing not to do. Inside of his body his beast blood was howling for the chance to escape the shell of his human body, to run through the crimson forest the van was passing through and take in all the sights and sounds of nature that he had sorely been lacking while confined to his city home.
It had been almost a year since his species had shifted from that of an ordinary human to a were-pokemon, in that time Larc had gone from a rebellious punk wanna-be to a upstanding college student, the likes of which made all the girls, not to mention some of the boys, swoon. With his rugged good looks, sharply cut muscular body, smoldering blue eyes, and animalistic charm Larc was the atypical boy next door model that advertisers dreamed of. However, instead of letting what he was go to his head, Larc focused more on his mechanical engineer studies than anything else. Well, that, and taking care of his younger twin.
Pulling his head back to look at his slumbering brother Larc couldn't stop a smile from pulling at the corners of his lips as he watched Carl lightly snooze away next to him. The younger of the pair, if only by a minute, muttered something as he felt his older brother watching him quietly, the silent bond between them informing the lithe youth that his alpha was nearby. Being a were-pokemon of the lucario species Larc was exactly like his feral counterparts in that he considered loyalty to his family to be everything to him. A bite of shame snapped at the older boy's heart as Larc remembered how cruel he had been towards his baby brother before his infection and subsequent transformation; his rampant hormones wanting to explore the darker side of the world without given any thought to what he would be giving up in exchange.
Looking back on those times as he sometimes did when his mind wasn't focused on his studies or running track at the college, Larc sometimes wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't been blessed with the blood of the lycanthrope. Would he have abandoned his brother like their parents had done to them by ignoring his brother to 'live his own life'? Would he have turned into some vagrant who floated from place to place, in and out trouble day in and out in hopes of finding some new kind of thrill? Would he have been locked up in jail, no one to come and see him because everyone had given up on him long ago?
Those thoughts made a whine slip from the teen's throat, his canine instincts flaring through as those dark thoughts began to eat away at him.
Blue eyes found a matching pair blearily staring back at him as Carl woke up.
Larc opened his mouth to apologize, yet before he could his baby brother smiled and leaned over to lay his head onto the older boy's shoulder. The touch of the younger male instantly chased the cloying thoughts away, much to Larc's relief. A silent whisper by the younger of the pair had the were-pokemon murmuring in relief, and in looking around to make sure that no one was paying attention to them, Larc leaned down to lick his brother onto the side of the neck in thanks.
Carl let out a little hum before falling back off to sleep.
To any other alpha lycanthrope out there it would have been very odd, this relationship the twins had with one another. To them, they would have instantly been able to tell that the younger of the pair didn't have a drop of beast blood in him, that he was weaker and therefore a liability to the two man pack that the brothers had created. However, Larc had long since resolved within himself to never infect his brother with the blood of the lucario against the other's will. For now, Carl had made it quite clear that he wasn't ready for such a thing to happen quite yet, that it would be better for the two of them to have at least one human amongst their ranks as it would help to stabilize the feral tendencies that Larc often showcased without meaning to. The older twin had wrestled with truth for a while, his inner lucario roaring at him that his twin was unsafe in this world where other alpha lycanthropes hid themselves underneath the guise of normalcy. The thought that one day he might not be able to be by his brother's side if he should ever encounter another of his kind had made Larc tear into several pieces of nice furniture the weeks after his first full transformation, yet through it all Carl had remained resilient in his decision.
Their parents, who they had kept in the dark about the entire thing, hadn't been to thrilled to come home to find their house looking as though it had been vandalized.
Larc couldn't have cared less about the older humans, though. His beast blood had long since recognized that the two who birthed he and his packmate wanted nothing to do with them, the older couple literally stank of indifference whenever they looked upon the pair. The were-pokemon snorted at the thought. If they didn't want them, then so be it. Larc had been growing more and more eager to escape their home to make his own way through life, however, his brother reasoned that the two of them should at least graduate from high school and get into a decent college before cutting their parents from their life.
Seeing his counterpart's determination had made the were-pokemon back down from his plan to just pack up their stuff and head out late one December night after a small argument with their parents, however once they had moved into a college dorm together, Larc now greatly appreciated bowing before his packmate's suggestion. Their parents had paid for them to get a nice enough place dorm, the humans reasoning that it would be a good start for them, though the truth was that they hadn't wanted the twins to return home for any reason, this being apparently clear as they quickly went about remodeling both twin's bedrooms, turning them into study and recreation rooms. It had taken a lot of soft murmuring and pleading from Carl to keep the lycanthrope from going back to show the humans his 'appreciation' for their kindness, much to the were-pokemon's annoyance.
The amount of control the lithe human had on him might have made any other alpha scoff in disbelief, however they would have been sorely mistaken if they thought that his brother had complete control over him. Many a night had found the were-pokemon demonstrating to his little beta exactly who was in charge between them two of them by marking the younger human with his musk and seed, the phantom memory of Carl's tongue buried underneath his furred tail last night made Larc's crotch stiffen, his sheath pulsing as his cock leaked out clear musky lucario pre-come. While careful to not get any of his come inside of Carl, as that would be a surefire way to transform the other into a were-pokemon, the older of the pair enjoyed having his little brother sniff and lick underneath his tail while he in turn bathed the younger boy's cock and balls with his thick canine tongue until the other came explosively down his throat.
The thought of his brother musk drunk off of his canine scent as he stood over the other underneath the moonlight, his turgid red manhood pulsing within his paw as he came onto his brother's chest and abdomen brought out a needy growl from the lycanthrope. It was with Carl's aid that Larc found a way to tap into his beast blood during the less prominent phases of the moon. While the glowing white light of the silent mother moon feed his blood the necessary energy needed to awaken the lucario within the pair had found that intense mental training, coupled with a moonstone, helped the were-pokemon to shift his body even during the darkest of nights. The campus police had long since made it their life goal to find the mysterious lucario who howled from the top of the school library on bi-weekly intervals and had made them feel like fools for escaping capture; the pokemon they had sent out to track him down had been easily duped into chasing their tails around the college campus after he had left his scent in various places throughout the area.
Carl had admonished him for his feral acts but Larc countered that it was all for the sake of letting any other alphas who might have snuck into the area know that the college was claimed, something Carl just shook his head and sighed about. Even with minoring in pokemon psychology the younger of the pair was still at a lost in understanding exactly what went through the more canine side of his older brother's head sometimes. That was one of the reasons why Carl wanted to study pokemon biology, he figured that in doing so perhaps he could bridge some of the mysteries of what it meant to be both a human and pokemon at the same time.
The two of them had been working for a while to see if Larc could use the abilities of the lucario species, however, with the exception of aura spheres and making blue ephemeral bones, the were-pokemon lacked the ability to channel all the natural earthly energies that his feral counterparts could produce. Carl had had made many theories that perhaps this limitation was because Larc's human mind prevented him from fully tapping into his abilities, and that maybe they could be awakened if the lycanthrope was placed within a different setting.
This hypothesis was one of the reasons why the pair were going on the trip in question, as not only would they it out whether Larc could draw on possible latent powers but also test what would happen when the information stored onto a TM was introduced into the were-pokemon's body. Carl had managed to scrounge up some of the more expensive laser discs from some of the other humans around campus, compliments of the nice allowance their parents gave them every month for not being kicked out of college and coming back to their home. The were-pokemon sneered as he thought over just how much the older humans enjoyed their oh-so-important lives of being blue collar slaves before shaking the thought of them away.
He was really glad his brother had helped him to get his grades up before they had graduated.
The ride through the country was silent for the next several hours as the group rode down the lane to their destination. Once they had finally arrived at the campsite, which was much more upbeat than what everyone had previously been expecting, the team of twelve shuffled out of the unmarked gray van and then huddled around the only teacher who was there to manage the group. The older woman of around fifty-two gave the students a rundown of what was expected of them on this glorified nature hike while handing them several papers that needed to be filled out before they left. The documents were littered with basic questions expected of first year pokemon research students, however, the group was also given kits for which they had to collect plant samples with, scanners to catalogued wild pokemon movements, and a verbal timetable for how long they would need to spend each day on each assignment the papers had outlined for them. Most of the information that they needed to document was rather rudimentary on first glance, but to those with a careful eye they noticed that many of the question didn't call for straight answers, but informed theories which would highlight just how much they had learned from the new environment for which they been introduced into.
Larc couldn't have cared less, in truth.
He wasn't even in the same class that Carl was; the only reason he was allowed to come along was because his baby brother had offered him up as the group pack mule for carrying the numerous bits of equipment the teacher had wanted to take with them on this trip. An easy enough job seeing that the were-pokemon relished in physical activity, the burning feel of his muscles straining a polite joy for which made the lucario within howl with excitement. Once they checked in with the rangers who worked at the campsite Larc dumped everything into the main area into a small pile inside of the ranger's cabin and then grabbed his brother by the arm to get the two of them to their respective log cabin. Since it was the off season the teacher had gotten free range over the place, so most of the students could sleep one or two to a cabin without issue. This was great for the lycanthrope as he was eager to mark his and his twin's sleeping area with his scent, so as to keep the other predators away.
Once Larc had finished his marking their cabin, zipping up with a relieved sigh, the were-pokemon headed back into the cabin to see what his brother felt like for dinner. It was just as he was closing the door to the cabin that the wind changed and the hair on the back of his neck rose in trepidation. Turning to look at the the path that led through the forest up towards a looming canyon, the lycanthrope felt a familiar pulse ripple through his blood.
Another alpha lycanthrope was in the area.
He could smell the scent of the other, a heavy musk that spoke of power and authority, but also youth, however Larc was too far away from the source to tell exactly what species the other was. Canine for sure, but nothing specific.
Lips pulling backwards to reveal canine teeth dripping with drool, the older teen found himself snapping back to reality when a hand reached around his shoulders to encircle him. Turning, Larc was not surprised to find bright blue eyes looking up at him worriedly.

Three days into the glorified nature walk the group had found themselves bedding down for the night in their respective cabins, most everyone filling out the papers they had been given with a collection of physical and theoretical data which had been collected from the forest around them. Watching his beta brother busily write away Larc found himself struggling in vain to try and use the fourth of the TMs which Carl had brought for him, the were-pokemon growing more and more frustrated that the laser coated disc wouldn't transfer its knowledge into him. Growling and then tossing the disc again the wall the lycanthrope grunted in satisfaction as he listened to the TM explode after it hit the wall. His brother turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow, for which the long haired were-pokemon merely snorted and then turned away.
Normally he wouldn't have been so easily frustrated with failure, seeing it as a necessary evil for growth, however as the days grew closer to the time when the group was to go up the trail into the canyon Larc couldn't help the growing feeling of restlessness blossoming inside of his chest as the moon grew fuller and fuller. While he and his brother had known that they would have to deal with him being forced to release the lucario within because of the mother moon's siren call, the pair counting on this in order to fully test Carl's TM theory, Larc was now up in arms as he could smell the scent of the other lycanthrope alpha in the area growing thicker and thicker as the nights passed on. While the other were-pokemon had yet to make a true appearance, probably because it didn't have the same control over its beast blood that Larc did, it was very clearly somewhere within the area, watching just out of sight.
Talking to the manager of the camping site had netted very little in the way of information regarding the mysterious alpha. The older man who ran the place had made some mention of the local pokemon coming down from the height of the canyon during the later days of the month but hadn't alluded to anything out of the ordinary. It seemed that the other lycanthrope was smart enough to realize that his presence would cause a large stir amongst the populace if he made himself known, but at the same time it was quite clear that this area was his territory. Larc could literally smell the other all over the forest when he and the other students had walked the path leading up into its interior, the scent of canine urine filled with potent pheromones was thick enough to choke him, however, to any other nose besides another lycanthropes it was easily brushed aside.
Yet to Larc...it made his blood boil in rage.
While he was an intruder within this region he had no qualms with challenging the other should the alpha wish to fight him. A silent jog through the middle of the night on the second day told Larc much about the other, the were-pokemon's presence filling the wild pokemon with a sense of dread as they shied away from going too far towards the canyon, the rockruffs and their elder incarnation ruling the area with impunity as they howled within the darkness of the night to let all know of their presence. Larc guessed that the other alpha was probably a lycanroc, the wild canines stalking him when he ran the length of the trial towards the canyon. Blue eyes narrowed dangerously as they studied him. The feeling of their eyes looming against his back had made Larc snarl more than once, his beast blood ready to challenge them all, however his instincts whispered that now wasn't the time for that. So instead he returned back to the camp, his body covered in sweat as adrenaline coursed through his so thick that his blue eyes bled to a dark magenta color.
His brother's touch helped to calm him, though. His beta had snuck the two of them into the communal shower and then pumped the frustration out from his furry loins, all the while Larc snarled and humped into his twin's touch, his body quaking gently.
It took nearly an hour under the cooling spray of the shower before his eyes returned to their deep blue color, the need to go out and meet the other male with claws and fangs making his muscles strain underneath his clothes calming, if just barely.
Returning to their cabin the twins settled onto the mattresses Larc had set down together, the were-pokemon hugging his sibling close as he buried his nose into his beta's shorter locks of hair. The fear that the other alpha might come for his packmate in the middle of the night, stealing the weaker of their two away, made Larc hug the lithe male closer to him, his legs intertwining with Carl's as he subconsciously made himself into a shield to protect his sibling. While rationally he knew that the other lycanthrope wouldn't dare to try something like that right now, wisely waiting for the moon to bloat so as to gain the full benefit of the beast blood within, the terror of such a possibility sung within Larc's heart like a curse. Whimpering, it took everything in him to keep from fully shifting and then biting down onto his brother's flesh. His instincts told him that only while infected would his brother be safe from the other, yet his more rational senses stopped him from making such a foolish act.
He wouldn't betray his twin by doing such a thing.
Instead he would wait. Would let the moon grow full and then take the other alpha down with his strength and fangs, his full fury released in a show of rage that would scar the minds of all those who stalked the canyon outside.
A twisted smile pulled at the edges of Larc's mouth as he thought about fighting the other alpha.
A year prior during his first change the older teen had thought of expanding his little pack of two with another were-pokemon, yet the opportunity had never come. The lycanthrope who had given him the blessing of the blood of the beast had never again resurfaced, and in the little town for which he and Carl had lived with their parents he had long since scouted around to try and find any others like him within at least a five mile radius. He never did. However now he was far removed from his territory and another of his kind awaited him.
Licking his lips the were-pokemon groaned as he felt his sex pulse in between his legs, his orange sized balls drawing up as a small wet stain appeared within the seat of his boxers. The thought of dominating the other alpha, of bending them over a log and then filling them with his impressive canine cock until the other was left whimpering in submission, made small huffs escape from out of Larc's mouth. The thought of knotting and then filling the mysterious were-pokemon with his seed made his blood run hot with need, thankfully he was still somewhat exhausted from his brother's previous ministrations and forced himself to calm down in order not to wake up the slumbering male in his embrace. Of course, he would have to be careful. If he made a careless move it would be his own tail which would be left spiked onto the other's shaft.
The thought of being a bitch for another male made him snort. He would never lift his tail for another male, save his counterpart who would only fill his hole with his tongue in show of submission to him. Closing his eyes as the thought of his brother underneath his true form filled his mind's eyes Larc found himself snapping his blue orbs wide open as a long, deep howl filled the night.

One of his classmates asked him a question. Blinking and then looking over at the ginger haired girl in question, Larc asked her to repeat herself, the lycanthrope playing off his distracted thoughts with the food he was eating being just so good. Green eyes blinked shyly as the girl asked if he wanted to go with her up the canyon later on to take pictures of the rockruffs and their evolutions in their natural habitat. Larc was about to shake his head, his nose catching the stink of the female's need wafting from around her body, an obvious sign of what she really wanted from him, however, it was Carl who answered for him.
The younger of the pair happily chirped that the two of them would be happy to go along with her, saying on afterthought that they should make the trip a group excursion as the moon would be full tonight and it would be good to see which of the rockruffs evolved underneath its light. The ginger just barely concealed her annoyance as she smiled at her classmate. Larc couldn't help but snicker. Most of the girls who had tried to date him were often left frustrated at how his brother always seemed to block their advances without really even trying. One or two had even made a blatant comment to him on how his little brother was the most obnoxious cock-blocker they had ever met, to which Larc had told them flat out that if they couldn't accept his brother then they had no chance with him before turning to leave the gaping in shock. That never failed to make him burst out laughing later on in his dorm room.
In truth, it wasn't like they any of them had a chance with him anyway. Larc knew that because his seed could infect another with the infection of the beast he would never try anything with another human, the knowledge that he could forever strip them of their human lives running through the back of his mind like a silent alarm. And while he did want to increase the size of his pack...most of the people he encountered just weren't good enough for such a blessing in his eyes.
Too needy.
Too weak minded.
Too self-important.
The humans drowned within their own belief of the world they worked to build up around, but to the lycanthrope such things were not of no interest to his lucario side, despite him working as hard as he could to get his mechanical degree. The were-pokemon knew that once he and his brother graduated though they would be leaving the city to find a nice forest filled village to live in that just happened to be populated by feral lucarios and riolu. Larc had long since planned out most of his and his brother's lives, much to Carl's amusement and acquiescence; the alpha lycanthrope knew that most humans at their college would never want to live out such boring lives, and he had no interest in forcing any other them to see to his way of thinking.
A poke at the side of his shoulder made him jolt back to current reality. Turning his head to the left he blinked at his brother in puzzled confusion. His younger twin laughed and then told him that they would be leaving after lunch, to which Larc nodded without complaint.
Four and a half hours later Larc could feel his blood roaring at him.
Turning to look as the full moon slowly rose up within the sky behind the canine the were-pokemon knew that he had to get the others away from the canyon, the other alpha would be coming to challenge him soon. There was no doubt in his mind that the other would see the weak humans as prey; the alpha's pack would gorge themselves on their flesh if they lingered while he and Larc fought for dominance between one another. Taking his brother to the side to impress this fact on the other, the younger of the paid listened to everything his older twin had to say as he watched his brother's blue eyes bleed magenta. The lucario underneath Larc's skin howled for a chance to come out, the beast could smell the other alpha lycanthrope within the immediate area. The black haired teen restrained himself however, he didn't want to imagine what he might do to the other students once his instincts began to run wild.
It was some quick thinking on Carl's part that alleviated the other of this fear. Gathering the laughing group together the younger of the pair offered up the idea of leaving their cameras on a timer so as not to disrupt whatever happened during the full moon and then going back into the forest to record the howls of the rockruffs from a safe distance away. When the others tried to argue with him Carl suggested that the group get some papers together so that they could make a classroom thesis to give to their teacher. The idea, which at first seemed to have very little merit amongst the group, was made much more attractive when he hypothesized that perhaps what their teacher wanted from them was to see how well they could work together on the both the documentation and theorization of their findings rather than give her a boring set of papers which she had probably seen all too often during the last ten to fifteen years of her tenure. That made several heads turn to look at each other curiously.
A few minutes more of sweet talking and soon the group was trekking back down the path, their cameras left behind in various locations that could easily survey different areas of the canyon without being accosted by any wild pokemon. Carl turned to watch his brother, Larc nodding at him while pulling back from the group without anyone really noticing. Pitching their tents and then starting a campfire the group barely noticed how one of their number was missing, instead the lot of them went about bouncing questions of the effects of the human presence onto the pokemon world and how it affected the natural ecosystem. Carl offered up a number of well thought out hypotheses, his mind spilling out with ideas, all the while out the corner of his eye he watched as his older sibling pissed onto several trees surrounding the camp area.
Once the last of ten tall pines were marked by his scent Larc disappeared like a flash, his body twitching underneath his clothes as the moon rose into position directly above the tallest peak of the canyon. His elongating claws tore at his shirt as the desire to challenge the other alpha roared within his blood.
A howl rang out within the night just as the moon began to pulsate with an iridescent white light, the the stars spreading themselves across the night sky like the veil of a theater being thrown open.
Larc answer back with his own call.
Face pushing outwards as human skin puffed out with blue and black fur, the were-pokemon found his stance turning semi-quadrupedal as he shucked out of his pants. The feeling of his bones and muscles shifting to give him more height and strength was offset by his tail slowly emerging from the nub of his spine, nerve endings growing as the lengthening appendage raised up across the lycanthrope's backside. The cold night air was a balm to the transforming youth as his body temperature soared high enough that wisps of steam could be seen drawing up from his skin. Drool leaking from his lips, Larc felt the familiar pleasure of feral euphoria pulsing from within his soul as his body expanded outwards in all directions, golden fur over taking his chest as his abdomen sunk inwards to give him perfect washboard abs. While already a good two hundred plus pounds of solid muscle, a nice weight for his six foot plus form, the expanse of flesh, blood, and bone slowly shifting within his body would soon give him a densely packed three hundred and eighty pounds of feral ferocity. A bark escaped his muzzle as as his bones shift, three spikes growing out from both his hands and chest, respectfully, blood dripping liberally down Larc's front as he ran onwards.
Several rockruffs and lycanrocs came out from the shadows, the lot of them barking at the intruder into their territory, however a roar from the wild eyed lucario made all of their tails tuck in between their legs; none of them found the courage to try and challenge the creature who stank of power and barely repressed rage.
In the minutes that it took to get from the campsite to where the scent of the alpha was the strongest Larc's feet and hands had nearly tripled in side as his arms, legs, and thighs ballooned outwards to fully alter his stance, a small blessing as it made four legged traveling much easier. His head bangs grew down from his hair just as he skidded to a halt underneath the shadow of a large rock outcropping jutting upwards towards the heavens. A snarl flew from the were-pokemon's lips, his migrating ears twitching madly as they finally found their proper place up on top of his head. Crimson eyes looked up right in time to see the mysterious alpha walk out into view.
The sight of an equally massive lycanroc bearing a crimson and white form made Larc's vision fade into a red haze as the other canine looked down at him with a haughty look that spoke of earned superiority. The beast licked its lips as it watched the other lycanthrope finished shifting into his true form, a blue, black, and gold body drawing up to an impressive eight feet in height to snap fangs at him. Larc had left no doubt that he was there to challenge the other with that gesture and so, in response, the lycanroc threw back its head to howl a song of battle throughout the darkness. Back at the camp the humans who had been left behind shivered as they noted the beastly call which seemed to echo out all around them. Shuddering, the group huddled close to one another, the lot of them just barely noticing that one of their number was missing, all except for one that was.
The two lycanthropes wasted no time in testing the dominance of the other as the lycanroc jumped from his perch at the fighting-steel type were-pokemon. Jumping back Larc dodged out of the way of a rock smashing punch, the force of which utterly destroyed the ground where he had been standing. Seeing the wild look of delight within the crimson and white were-pokemon's eyes the lucario knew that he couldn't afford to hold back against the other. Clapping his paws together and then summoning the energy within Larc drew a massive blue bone in between his grasp. Brandishing the metaphysical weapon at the alpha like a sword the lucario snarled at the other canine to come and get some. The lycanroc barked, his lower muzzle dripping with drool before he snapped his teeth and then raced forward.
A sweep of the blue bone connected with the other's head, however, instead of throwing the beast into the nearest boulder the attack seemed to merely stun the were-pokemon. Pulling back to shake its head, the white maned lycanthrope chuckled. Larc blinked in slight confusion, sure that his weapon should have done more to the other, however when the wild alpha reached down to crush some of the earth in between its massive paws the lucario had just enough time to turn his head before a storm of sand rushed at his eyes. Drawing his arms up in front of himself Larc gasped as he was tackled, the weight of his opponent knocking him to the group and subsequently making him lose control over his metaphysical weapon.
It was quick reflexes that kept his throat from being torn out as the lycanroc's jaws sought to chomp down onto his meaty esophagus. Grasping the red and white canine's muzzle within his black paws Larc slowly forced the canine back just enough to curl a foot against the other alpha's chest. Lashing out the lucario couldn't fight the sneer of delight which tugged his muzzle as he watched the rock type were-pokemon fly through the air at into the side of his canyon. A groan met his ears as the lycanroc shuddered while attempting to stand upright. Hopping back up onto his feet Larc gave the other a single fingered gesture, the sight of which made made the other were-pokemon glare back at him with unrepressed rage. A snicker of indifference from the lucario had the lycanroc roaring and then rushing forward.
Larc meet the other head on, the bodies of the two lycanthropes crashing together hard enough to make the entire area tremble in awe. The pair struggled for a moment, both of their paws grasped together as they pushed back against the both of them silently seeking to answer the question as to who was the strongest between them. The answer came at a stalemate, neither one able to force the other back so much an inch from where they stood, so in seeing this Larc knelt down to headbutt the other into the muzzle.
A yelp of pain filled the air as the lycanroc threw his head back, blood streaming out from his black nostrils.
Seeing his opening the lucario bent his knees and then used the force of his body to forcibly flip the lycanroc up over his head. Slamming the other painfully onto the ground, the fighting-steel type were-pokemon darted away to gain some distance, his mind telling him that his opponent wouldn't be done in that easily. His move turned out to be the correct choice because once the red and white canine shook off the daze of the amateur wrestling move he rolled over to the side to reach for an otherwise unnoticed boulder.
Larc gaped as he watched the other alpha strain to pick up the massive rock, the size of which was nearly as big as the other male. The lucario then yelped as he watched the giant mass of stone fly directly for him. It was his quick dexterity that saved him from getting squished like a caterpie, the fighting-steel type were-pokemon rolling out of the way just as the boulder crashed into the earth where he had been standing. Another gargantuan rock found him rolling away again, the lycanroc seeming to realize that distance was the best way to get to the other. However, the truth of his plan came to full fruition when the lucario found himself trapped within a circle of rocks. Flipping his head back and forth, the fighting-steel type lycanthrope cursed himself for not realizing the obvious trap right as another boulder soared through the air towards him. With nowhere the go it was obvious that it would collide into him, or so that lycanroc thought as it looked on triumphantly.
The feeling of satisfaction was quickly wiped away as a blue sphere slammed into the giant rock just as it was about to crash into Larc, the stone exploding as the condensed ball of aura continued on its course to the moon. Standing in the center of the circle, body glowing with blue radiance, the lucario sneered as it gathered more aura within his black paws, the energy crackling in readiness to deliver itself into its target. The lycanroc roared at this, his patience having snapped as it now wished to eviscerate the one who continuously made him look like a fool.
Charging forward at high speed the red and white beast took the fired ball of energy head on, its body barely stopping as it once again tackled the fighting-steel type. The canyon literally groaned from the force of two titans crashing into it. Neither paid much attention to this as the lycanroc reared its paw back, the dust around them forming into a sharp stone within its palm, and then thrust its fist forward. A wellspring of blood blossomed out of Larc's mouth as his insides were skewered by the stone's edge. The lycanroc drew its bloody paw back to deliver another devastating punch to the other, however, before it could do so a black paw slammed through the red and white canine's chest forcing the flesh of its body to explode outwards as steel claws ripped straight through.
Both males shuddered as pain seared through both of their bodies, yet neither gave up the advantage they had as the lycanroc thrust the stone within its hand back into the lucario, his aim just missing hitting the other's lung. Larc reciprocated by pulling his blood soaked claws back to punch the rock type again. Hitting each other over and over the canyon and ground surrounding them slowly grew bloody flowers onto their surfaces the two alphas refused to relent in tearing one another apart until finally they had no energy left to attack.
The two stood together for several seconds before the lycanroc drew back unsteadily, his blood rushing out in torrents down his white chest fur. A whimper and a moan found the rock type were-pokemon falling back onto the destroyed ground, its red eyes looking up at the white moon in complete confusion as dark spots filled its vision. And then the creature's eyelids slowly began to close.
Looking down at his dying opponent, Larc found himself unable to feel satisfaction over his obvious victory as his own body was quickly teetering on the edge of existence. Sliding down onto the ground next to the other both were-pokemon panted within the cold night air, their breaths growing shallower and shallower as death crept closer towards them.

It was a cool something being pressed against his chest that made him flutter open his eyes. Blinking and then slowly turning his head over Larc found his little brother hovering above him, worried blue eyes staring at him tearfully before the younger rushed down to hug the prone lucario. Though he didn't have the strength to reach up to hug his twin the were-pokemon instead nuzzled his packmate tenderly, a lick against the side of the human's face made Carl chuckle silently. It took a moment before the younger of the pair was able to compose himself, once he did so he turned his head to look off to the side. Struggling, the were-pokemon did the same. His muzzle dropped down in surprise as he caught sight of the lycanroc slumbering next to him, blue strips of Larc's former shirt wrapped tightly around the red and white beast's chest.
Turning back to look at his brother the lucario whimpered out a question his muzzle was unable to ask. Carl answered by shrugging and then saying that he didn't want the other's death to weigh in on Larc's conscious later on down the line. The were-pokemon wasn't sure how to feel about that; on the one hand his instincts demanded that he get up and finish the other before he woke up and attacked them, but another part of him, the more humane side, told him to leave the other be. Their fight had ended with neither of them able to dominate the other, yet in nearly falling into death's embrace a respect would be bridged between the pair when the other awaken, or at least that's what something whispered within the darkness of his mind. Deciding to settle back down to rest some more, the lycanthrope used his head to convey to his packmate the order to lay next to him. Thankfully Carl had grown very good at understanding canine gestures so the human had no problem doing as such, his much smaller form easily settling into the groove that was the left side of Larc's body.
The twins rested for several minutes, their minds swimming with various questions, however, as the night drew on the pair accidentally fell asleep together. The rockruffs and other lycanrocs watching them from the shadows did nothing as they tried to make sense of what just happened, yet even in their confusion the lot of them surrounded the trio, making sure that none would bother them as the night drifted on.
By the time they woke up it was close to morning, the sun desperately pushing back against the darkness the moon had drawn across the earth with its fiery wings. It was a shudder from Larc fully drew Carl back to consciousness. Blue eyes stared down in familiar awe as the older of the pair begin to shrink down into his human form, Larc's fur slowly falling from his massive body to reveal tanned skin. With his muscles and bones receding back within his body, muzzle shortening to a more rounded human face as a consequence of this, the were-pokemon groaned as his still aching body contorted in on itself. A whimper from off to the side made the younger twin turn just in time to see the lycanroc roll around as his own body began slipping down in size, however, instead of fur peeling away to reveal human skin as Larc's was, the red and white canine just...shrank. Within the same span of time it took for the older of the two siblings to return to near human form, Larc's tail dwindling down to the rounded nub at the base of his spine, hair bangs slipped back into his head as his triangular ears rounded while migrating down onto the side of his face, the rock type were-pokemon shivered as his muscular body lost its rock hard definition; the canine's lanky form a mere shell of what it was as it transformed back into a normal midnight lycanroc.
It was midway through his shifting that the other lycanthrope blinked, rolled around a bit more, and then lifted its head to look up in confusion. Wet nose sniffing the air, the now slightly bigger than normal lycanroc yelped and then looked down at itself in confusion. Seeing the strange wrappings draped around its body the red and white canine wasn't sure what to think, yet in hearing someone coming over to it the rock type raised its head to snarl at the other. When a calm hand reached for its body the wild pokemon of course bit the human, his untamed instincts demanding that the other get away from him.
The hiss of pain Carl let out instantly had Larc up on his feet, his own instincts demanding blood from the upstart alpha as his magenta eyes zeroed in on where canine jaws were tightly wrapped around his baby brother's wrist. The snarl Larc released was loud enough to make the fur on the wild were-pokemon's neck raise up, however, it was a calm hand waving backwards that prevented the lycanroc from being tore apart.
Carl hissed, his mind telling him that he had just fucked himself over a level that he was sure was going to come back to bite him in the tail later on, however, instead of fretting over this the brave and foolish youth merely used his unbitten hand to undo the ties of the bandages he had wrapped around the untamed were-pokemon's chest. Pulling the blood soaked wrappings away from the lycanroc Carl smiled at the rock type even as the feeling of the other creature's silent growls reverberated through his bones up into his chest. Once the bandages were removed Carl knelt his head down to look over the furless holes which decorated the canine's chest, his blue eyes narrowing as he surveyed his work. Seeing that his medical skills had come through in the end the black haired human reached into his pocket to pull out something. Revealing a bunch of berries to the creature who was still nomming on his arm Carl placed the fruit onto the ground and then waited.
At the smell of dried fruit the lycanroc open its jowls, its stomach demanding that he feed his belly with the free offering of food. Seeing his chance, Carl moved away from the other back over to his snarling brother. The younger of the pair quietly shushed his twin but soon found himself gasping out as Larc grabbed his bleeding arm and then began licking over it with his slightly elongated tongue. The feel of soothing wet heat rolling across his injured wrist brought a groan of relief from the younger of the pair as Larc worked desperately to close the wounds that the other alpha had made on his sibling.
Larc didn't allow Carl to move so much an inch until the bleeding had stopped, harshly growling at the human when the other tried to pull something from his pocket, once the bleeding did stop however the almost fully human Larc tore off a piece of his brother's shirt with his black fingernails. Making a quick and dirty arm wrap with the ribbons of cloth the alpha male secured his packmate's arm, snarling up at the other when Carl tried to say something. Once he was sure that the other wouldn't bleed out the older of the pair slapped his sibling against the back of the head, angrily admonishing the other for his stupidity. Carl simply smiled before turning to look back over at the lycanroc...who just so happened to be watching them silently. The twins said nothing as Larc forced his brother up and then began dragging him away towards the general direction of where the student campsite was located.
When the two were gone out of sight the red and white lycanroc cocked his head to the side in confusion, new instincts ringing within his head as he looked down at himself. Red eyes just barely caught the sight of several multicolored bottles scattered around him before he lifted himself onto his shaky hind feet, a number of rockruffs and lycanrocs coming out to sniff over him worriedly as he made his way back to his canyon home.

It took a couple of minutes of arguing to get Larc to put back on his pants, the older of the pair had fought almost juvenily about putting them back on, his body truly hating the restrictive clothing, however, in mentioning that he would have to in order to keep any weird questions from being asked about why he had a canine sheath and blue furred testicles instead of normal human junk the older twin snatched the article of clothing from his sibling and then threw it onto his lower end. Once they got back with the other students Carl made up a half truth about his brother having gone to check on the cameras and having accidently gotten into an altercation with one of the local lycanrocs for his troubles, Carl having gone to check on him and been bitten by the same pokemon for his troubles. The group nodded at this as they looked to the two shirtless boys, one of whom had bloody bandages covering his arm. Their teacher had fussed over the pair while calling them foolish for going up to the canyon alone but chose not to make too much a spectacle since the pair had returned alive. However, she did confine them to their cabin for the rest of the trip, which consequently last two more days.
It was during the night before the group was to leave that the twins sat down to have a heart to heart with one another. Larc was able to smell the infection within his brother's blood, the potent musk of another were-pokemon rose within his little brother with every breath the other took. Surprisingly enough Carl was rather calm about the fact that his humanity was slowly being purged from his body, the younger of the pair saying that he knew of the inevitably of him becoming a lycanthrope with how close he kept to Larc. That did nothing to calm the alpha though as he loomed over his sibling, his body fully shifted into his lucario form, nose buried deep within the other's neck. He could smell it, the faint scent of lucario within the other's blood, yet a whiff of lycanroc dancing along the edge of his brother's scent, the smell of which made the alpha's nose wrinkle as it reminded him of the other were-pokemon whose eyes felt as though they were still on him.
Larc fought himself as he pulled back to look down at his baby brother, the other cocking his head questioningly back up at him. The lycanthrope shook his head, his anger at knowing that a part of the other alpha now lived within his beta no match for the love he had for his twin. That night the lucario refused to let Carl move from underneath him, his massive three hundred plus pound bulk keeping the other fully pinned onto their mattress, much to the younger man's amusement. In his mind Larc knew that he was going to have to mount his brother once the other shifted into his were form, he would have to in order to establish his dominance over the newborn were-pokemon, and to keep his beta from possibly straying back to the other alpha. However, that wasn't for another month, for now the only duty he had to see to was the one of keeping his packmate safe underneath the shadow of his body.
Meanwhile, just outside of the cabin crimson eyes watched the pair through the window, the clouds up above hiding the shadow of the creature's body from the lucario's sights.
Once their time was up the group gathered their cameras from the canyon, many of them noting the destruction of the area with some awe. Neither Larc nor Carl made any mention of the strange findings, the older of the pair merely throwing everything into the gray van as the teacher shuffled the group inside. The drive back to the city was filled with noisy chatter as the twelve college students talked in length about their trip, well ten out of twelve, that is. Both Carl and Larc chose instead to sleep through the entire ride back, the twins still mentally and emotionally exhausted from their little 'adventure'. During the ride Larc found his lips twitching as something just along the edge of his senses made the lucario within annoyed for some reason.
Far back behind the group a certain red and white canine casually bound after the group, the rock type were-pokemon unsure why but some strange need egging him onwards to chase after the alpha and beta that had turned his life upside down.
