#10 of A tale of dragons

No more to charm a dragon. No more. *Sad* I've decided that chapter ten will be the last. But I may start putting chapters in the middle. Maybe.

I think every one already knows who Brian is after the last chapter. But oh well. The clue was rather big. So, if you know who he is, think about what will happen when he regains his memory, along with his old Brian memories. It's gonna be fun :-8)

Please stop sucking up to me and comment on how to make the story better and not just how good it already is. Or else.

A bit short on this chapter. Sorry. And I won't 'burn myself out' if I keep belting out the stories so fast, as one concerned fur commented. I'm not a light bulb. And I bet I won't be getting any complaints about putting up the next chapter so fast.

Oh, and that whole 'who is Brian' thing is over, just gotta get the name of the winner. I know that at least two people know who he really is. I know that they were probably kicking themselves when they figured it out. Hee hee hee.

A tale of dragon's part 10

Matimura sighed as he picked up the last feather, placing it inside the basket held on his left arm. The basket was already filled with mottled brown and grey feather.

Kylara had ordered him to pick them all up out of Kerasaline's new room. Her reasons were that the gryphon couldn't pick them up herself, and neither could she, and that it had been his idea for her to stay there in the first place.

Kylara was at that moment lying outside the room, her back pressed against the wall so he couldn't open it. She had returned to her normal size, so she could, in her words, 'stare down at all you little people again' because she was getting a sore neck from looking up at him all the time.

Just an excuse for her to lock him in a padded room.

"I'm done!" Matimura called, standing at the door.

He heard the sound of giant scales slithering across the ground as Kylara moved her giant bulk slightly, letting him open the door.

Matimura stepped out and looked up at her as Kerasaline returned to her new room.

Kylara snapped her head downwards and bit down very gently on Matimura, tossing her head and sending him skywards, falling onto her stomach with a thump, the feathers going everywhere.

She moved her head close and gave him a long lick up the length of his body.

Matimura lay sprawled across her stomach, his head resting on her solar plexus, or whatever it was on a dragon, and his feet almost resting on her tail.

He could feel warmth between her legs, like a furnace hidden just beneath her skin.

"I'm not doing anything to you when you're this big." He said firmly, sliding down her belly and using her outstretched front leg as a ramp.

He flipped off her and landed on his feet like a cat, and resumed picking up the feathers.

He made it all the way until her last feather, when her tail swung out of nowhere, slamming the basket, mangling its delicate woven threads, and sending feathers all over the place once again.

"Oh it's on now!" Matimura cried out, rolling forwards towards her, picking up a feather as he went, leaping up onto her stomach again and beginning to tickle her ruthlessly with the feather.

The feather was huge, as long as his hand, and remarkable soft and warm, with a bit of fluff at the end that was very convenient for what he was doing.

Kylara writhed under him, almost throwing him off. He grabbed a scale and held on grimly, still tickling her with his free hand.

"Glad to sssee you two having fun." A voice said from the entrance, startling them both, causing Matimura to lose his grip and spiral upwards, and then down onto the ground, where he hit with a painful thud, going unconscious.

Debri and Kershahk were walking through the tents of the barracks of the camp. Debri was staring at Kershahk out of the corner of her eye, admiring the way his muscles rippled under his scaled skin. For once she was glad that she was a lycanthrope, because she could see in the dark, whereas Kershahk couldn't see very good at all.

"Did I not wash myself sufficiently?" Kershahk asked politely.

"Why do you ask?" She growled.

"You keep staring at me." He stated. "Am I so unsightly?" He asked.

"No!" Debri said before she could stop herself.

"Then why do you keep staring at me?" He asked, genuinely curious.

"I...I've never seen a raptor before..." Debri said feebly, trying to come up with a half-plausible reason why she would be checking out the raptor so closely.

"Oh." Kershahk said, although he still looked slightly suspicious. "You can look all you want, it's just that you were sizing me up with a hungry look on your face. It looked like you wanted to eat me." Kershahk said.

Debri blushed heavily, glad that her fur hid such embarrassing reactions. Was she that obvious? Was the hungry look on her face so openly visible?

Debri didn't say anything, just kept walking.

Kylara dragged the unconscious Matimura into her treasure room, Skel trailing after her uncertainly.

She had intended to do the spell that night anyway, and Skel had turned up early. She needed Matimura unconscious for the spell anyway.

She had already arranged the treasure in the room into the pentagram needed for both the spells she was going to perform.

Skel was only there as a witness, a much needed asset in this kind of spell, because if she did the spell wrong, then they needed someone who could kill the process before it hurt them. That, and she would be able to show off a bit too.

Skel gasped as he entered the treasure room, staring at all the shiny surfaces, his beak agape. This was the first time he had seen her treasure.

He made his way along the piles of coins and gems, occasionally picking one up and testing its weight, climbing up onto a gold cart, tumbling off it by accident and landing in a splash of coins, earning himself a look of burning reproach from Kylara.

"Now I know wherrre all the trrreasssure goesss when the enemy convoysss don't make it to their dessstination." Skel said, making his way back over to her.

He went over to the pedestal and tapped on the glass dome that held the black rose.

Kylara was suddenly in front of him, hissing at him dangerously, pushing him away from it.

Skel went over and stood by Matimura's prone form, afraid that she might attack him.

"You are here to watch. So sit down and watch." She said, looking like an angry cat.

Skel sat and did as he was told while Kylara began placing diamonds, crystals and rubies at specific places on Matimura's body.

She had gone all through her treasure room, searching for her best specimens, each one worth more than most of the other treasure in the room put together.

When she was finished, she delicately tore his clothes off, and lay down between his legs.

She reached forwards with trembling paws, a single claw unsheathed, glinting in the firelight.

She made a quick cut down the length of him perineum. She then pushed her claw up into the incision, until it was completely sealed inside his body. She then focused her shaping magic on the tip of her claw, and made some very slight changes to Matimura's reproductive system. Nothing visible happened, but she knew that it worked. She then withdrew her claw, and licked the blood off it while healing the wound.

She then moved up his body, until she was straddling him.

She unsheathed a single claw on each paw, and then crossed then in a way so that her claws cut the palm of her paw open on either side, causing blood to run down her front legs as she resumed her position.

"If this doesn't work, I'm sorry." She whispered to Matimura, who obviously couldn't hear her.

She slashed quickly, slicing open his throat on both sides.

The quickly placed her paws over the open wounds, and focused her life-force on the points, her eyes glowing a bright red as she worked the most complex spell she had ever done.

She did that for a whole minute, and then collapsed onto his chest, working her healing magic with the last of her strength, sealing the wounds on his neck, before joining him in unconsciousness.

Skel left quietly.

Matimura awoke feeling better than he had ever felt, noticing that he wasn't where he had fallen, and that Kylara was curled up to his side, purring gently in her sleep.

"Kylara?" He asked.

"Mmm..." She half-answered.

"Why am I naked?"
