Lessons In Love 01 - Thunderstorm

It was the middle of the night, and a thunderstorm was slowly moving in. Lightning tore through the sky, illuminating the Richter house. Inside slept parents Travis and Vera, age 23, twins Lance and Celia, age 10, and young Devin, age 5. But not every feline in this house was to be asleep for much longer. A bright flash of lightning and loud rumble of thunder was enough to wake Lance from his peaceful slumber. As the lightning and thunder grew more frequent, Lance grew more nervous. He started to whine as he pulled the covers over his head, but it was to no avail. He was simply too afraid by himself. Lance leapt from his bed and went running to his parents room, waking Celia in the process.

Celia, in the next room over, rolled on her side and looked at her clock. "Darn it, Lance. Why must you make so much noise?" Celia flopped on her back once more, closing her eyes in hopes of returning to dream land. However, it wasn't much long after that Celia started hearing familiar whimpering coming from the next room. Devin was also awakened by the storm, and he starting to get scared. Celia let out a sigh as climbed out of bed, and made her way to her little brother's door.

Celia opened the door and softly said, "Don't worry, Devin. Big sis is here." Devin's whimpering filled the room as Celia walked through the doorway. A flash of lightning illuminated the room as Devin quickly pulled his blanket up to his forehead. Celia reached Devin's bed and sat down on the edge. She reached out with her arm to rub Devin's head in an attempt to calm him. Devin grabbed Celia's arm with a fearful grip as he whined, too frightened to speak. "Okay Dev," Celia responded with a barely noticeable sigh.

She stood up and lifted the covers as Devin covered his eyes, using his hands in place of his blanket. Once she was laying in bed with Devin, he buried his face in her chest to attempt to escape from the lightning. Devin couldn't remember the first time Celia had come to his rescue during a thunderstorm, but he was always comforted by the fact that big sis was always there.

Celia hugged Devin, who returned the embrace. "It's going to be okay." Celia kissed Devin's forehead, as his whimpering subsided. Devin and Celia would soon fall asleep in each other's arms as the thunderstorm rumbled off into the distance.

As the sun rose the next morning, the rays started shining through the window in Devin's room. Celia started to stir, the sun waking her from her slumber. Looking to her side, she noticed Devin was still fast asleep. Celia tousled his hair and kissed him on the forehead before gently crawling out of bed, so as not to wake her little brother.

Celia walked slowly to the door, but as she started to open it, she heard movement on the bed. "Ce-Ce?" Devin said, sleepily, rubbing his eyes as he slowly sat up.

"Yeah, Dev?" Celia responded, hoping she hadn't woken him up. "Thanks for comin' last night," Devin said with a sleepy smile. Celia walked back toward the bed and gave Devin a tight hug. "You're welcome. I love you. You know that. I can't stand to see you frightened," Celia smiled, leaning down to kiss him on the forehead once more. Devin moved his head at the last minute and caught the kiss on his lips. Devin and Celia both started giggling. "That's my Devvy," she said in between laughs.

"I wonder how Lance did. Little scaredy cat ran off at the first flash. Woke me up, too. He does this every time," Celia sighed.

Vera awoke to the sounds of Devin and Celia in the hall as they made their way to the living room. Travis, her twin brother and husband, lay sound asleep behind her as their son Lance was also happily sleeping, his face buried in her chest. Vera sighed, as she knew the storm would attract Lance. She had always teased Travis for being afraid of the storms, but with both of her sons terrified of them as well, she didn't dare continue teasing Travis in front of them.

Vera tried gently nudging Lance to get him to wake up, but he just moaned a bit and wiggled his face even deeper into Vera's cleavage. Sighing, Vera slowly rose and picked up Lance's nude, ten year old body, and started carrying him back to his room, his little erection bouncing with each step. As Vera set Lance back in his bed and pulled the covers over, Celia stepped into the doorway.

"Morning Mom," Celia said, cheerfully. "I see Lance is still being a sleepy head. Stupid boy woke me up at 2 AM last night with his running to your room."

"Sorry about that, Celia. But you know your brother can't stand storms. He's just like your father, in more ways than one. He's also still asleep, as usual," Vera laughed, as she adjusted her nightgown. "By the way, did Devin do okay?"

"Don't worry, I took care of Devvy." Celia smiled as she tugged on her pink night shirt. "He's so adorable. He's already awake, unlike the other guys. Dev is in the living room, I think."

"You certainly have a good mother's instinct." Vera leaned down to kiss Celia, who eagerly joined the kiss on her lips. "Now, how about some breakfast?"

"Shouldn't we wait for Lance an' Dad?"

"They'll be down soon enough. Don't worry."

Mornings on the weekends and during school breaks always seemed to be extra relaxed, as the family normally spent breakfast in their sleepwear. Celia sat at the table wearing nothing but a long, pink shirt. Devin sat next to her, wearing his favorite sweatpants. Lance sleepily walked into the kitchen, having put a shirt on but no pants or undies, as is his usual custom. Travis followed behind, wearing his boxer shorts. Vera stood at the stove, still in her nightgown.

"So I see the scaredy cat finally got up," Celia giggled as Lance started to

blush. "I am NOT a scaredy cat!" Lance started getting upset as the younger twins engaged in a battle of "Are two!" and "Are not!" Lance finally broke the cycle after three repetitions and asked, "What about Devin? He's too scared to even leave his room! He's a scaredy cat."

Devin started to tear up. "I am not, you big meanie!" Devin started to cry as Celia glared at Lance. "Now look what you did, you big meanie!" Celia hugged Devin, trying to calm his crying. "Apologize to your brother!"

Lance, also on the verge of tears, sighed, "Sorry Devin. But you started it, Celia!" Celia was still upset over Devin crying. "Because you deserve it, you scaredy cat!"

"Knock it off you two," Vera scolded. "Celia, stop calling Lance a scaredy cat, and apologize to him." Celia let go of Devin and sunk in her chair as the voice of authority demanded the argument cease. "Sorry Lance," Celia mumbled.

Vera sighed and resumed cooking as Travis and Lance sat down at the table. Lance looked down at the table as he tried to regain his composure. Travis grabbed the newspaper and went right for the comics section, his favorite part. Devin calmed down, Celia fidgeted with her silverware, and things started getting quiet.

"So, Dev, are you going to be Krystal's knight again today?" Travis asked. "I dun think so," Devin said, a slight whimper still in his voice. "She said...umm... She said that the princess should be the hero this time."

"Aww, that's so sweet, Devvy," cooed Celia. "Can I play, too? I can be the evil witch." Lance looked up with a smirk on his face. "How would that be different?" Lance started to laugh, but then Celia glared in his direction, causing Lance to stop and shy away.

"Umm... I dunno. I think Krystal is having Uncle Scotty be the dragon that captures the knight," Devin started to blush a little. Vera turned around to look at Devin. "Sounds like fun. Oh, by the way, food's done, guys."

*********

After finishing breakfast, Devin headed upstairs to get ready for the day's activities. He opened his closet and pulled out a plastic sword and a suit of armor, complete with a helmet, made from cardboard boxes. As he walked through the living room, he passed the still pantless Lance who was glued to the television for Saturday morning cartoons. Celia, fully clothed by this point, ran up to Devin and gave him a hug. "You look so cute in that," she squealed.

"You always say that," Devin blushed. Celia giggled, "Why don't you ever save me?" Celia tried her best to pout in between giggles. Devin looked down, trying to come up with an answer. "Umm... 'Cause you dun get in trouble?" Celia finally stopped giggling. "Well, if I ever need a brave knight, I know just who to call. Now, I think your princess and mighty dragon are waiting for you."

Devin walked outside and headed next door to the DeMorre house, where his cousin and princess Krystal resides. Devin knocked on the door, and was shortly greeted by Brianna, Krystal's mother and cousin of Travis and Vera. "Why hello, Devin, sweetie. You look simply adorable, as always." Devin blushed, yet again. "Hi Auntie Breena. Umm... Are Krystal and Uncle Scotty ready?" Bri smiled, "Yeah, they should be in the back yard waiting. Are you hungry, dear? Oh, I suppose you just ate breakfast, huh? Well, if you get hungry, we have snacks."

"Thanks," Devin said as he walked inside. He saw Jack, age 10, playing video games with Tanya, age 8. Krystal, who is the same age as Devin, peeked in through the back window. Brianna's husband, her twin brother Scott, stood next to Krystal wearing a green hoodie with pieces of construction paper taped on it, made to resemble a dragon's head. Jack and Tanya both greeted Devin, pausing the game so he could walk past on his way to the back.

"Hey Dev, are you ready?" Scott asked as soon as Devin walked through the back door. "I guess so," Devin responded.

Travis and Vera came back downstairs to the living room after having changed their clothes. The still pantsless Lance sat cross-legged on the couch while Celia lay on her left side, leaning on the arm rest. Vera sat in the recliner closest to Celia while Travis sat in the chair on the other side of the couch.

"School starts on Monday. You kids excited?" Travis smiled as he looked at his children. Lance and Celia shared a nervous glance. "Devin enters Kindergarten this year," Vera sighed. "It's amazing how time flies. My little baby is growing up." "Lance, Celia, you two are in the fifth grade this year," Travis added. "Soon you two will be off to Middle School."

Lance and Celia glanced at each other nervously. "Mom, why do Jack and Tanya get to go to that private school?" Celia asked. Vera sighed, "Sweetheart, we have other priorities. You and Lance ask us this every year. The only thing that the private school has that your school doesn't, other than a minimum 3.0 GPA requirement, is sex on school property. Your cousins have a stronger desire for that sort of thing than you do. I know you miss playing with them during the weekdays, but your father and I don't think the private school is worth the money. I'm sorry." Celia started to sulk, but she knew her mother was right.

Jack and Tanya would often get excessive in their flirting when she and Lance played with them, and they would occasionally be ignored as their cousins stopped playing and starting having sex. This would be a semi-regular occurrence that Lance and Celia simply grew accustomed to. Things would sometimes get out of control if Scott and Brianna walked in on their children having sex, as it may turn into a family orgy. While they would invite Lance and Celia, the Richter kids usually just wanted to continue the game. Lance and Celia definitely loved each other very much, Celia knew this in her heart, but they were satisfied with one long love session a day, usually alone with Lance. While the DeMorre's were accustomed to two or three sessions a day, sometimes with the whole family. Celia and Lance would sometimes join in on the DeMorre group sex, and they weren't strangers to the occasional family session at home, but they simply didn't crave sex that often, nor did Devin or their parents.

"You'll still be able to play with your cousins on the weekends, don't worry," Vera smiled. "Now, what cartoons do we have on today?"

*********

Meanwhile, Princess Krystal searched for her knight. Sir Devin had gone missing after he vowed to slay the dragon that was terrorizing the locals. Princess Krystal had found a suspicious looking cave, and as she ventured farther, she could hear echoes of giggles mixed with pleas of mercy. It wasn't long before she laid eyes on the vicious and elusive Scottzilla. There was her knight, Sir Devin, rendered helpless by Scottzilla's dreaded foot tickle torture.

"Stop right there, you monster!" yelled Princess Krystal. Scottzilla stopped tickling the brave knight and looked at the princess. "Let him go you big meanie," the princess demanded, "or I'm gonna make you pay."

Scottzilla scoffed at her demands. "My dear, I will do no such thing. Your brave knight is helpless. Another victim of my trademark torture. I shall continue to tickle his soft, tender feet until my water starts to boil. After which I shall cook and eat him." Scottzilla laughed as he picked up both of the vulnerable knight's feet. He then proceeded to slowly lick each foot as if to get an idea how his dinner may taste. "Mmmmm. Delicious. I'm afraid once I'm done with your knight that you shall be next."

"Not if I can help it." Princess Krystal dashed toward Sir Devin's sword, which had simply been tossed to the side and forgotten by the monstrous dragon. In one swift move, the princess stabbed the mighty villain underneath his left arm, the most vulnerable spot for any make believe baddie. Scottzilla recoiled in pain, and let out a loud scream, "Nooooo!" Soon the dragon fell, and the knight was freed.

The princess and knight hugged in a sweet embrace, followed by a passionate kiss worthy of a savior. Their lips met, and almost in unison they parted. The couple's tongues slowly extended, entering an area they had explored dozens of times before. The slain dragon lay on his side, but peeked out of one eye to watch the two kids as they expressed their love. Scott sighed at the sight of his youngest child, so in love with her cousin and at such a young age. He could only wish he and his sister Brianna had shared such passion at that age. After a few more moments, the Princess and her Knight broke the kiss.

"Thank you Princess," said Sir Devin as he adjusted his helmet and armor. "You saved me." Princess Krystal smiled, straightening her tiara and gown. "It was nothing." The two kissed once more, tongues again exploring familiar territory. When the kiss ended, Sir Devin looked his Princess in the eye and said, "Booger." The two five year olds broke out in a fit of giggles, and even the mighty Scottzilla couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh you kids. So did you have fun?" Scott asked. "Yeah, thanks Uncle Scotty," Devin said as he gave the adult skunkat a hug. "Yeah, thanks daddy." Krystal hugged her dad tightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad. Now how about some lunch?" Scott smiled as he opened the door to the house.
