The better mate...A Rabbit and a Wolf compete over a Vixen's paw...
This is my take on a very old folk tale...

The better mate...
Peter the Rabbit had been thinking of getting mated for a long while... So that his life would be easier and less lonesome with someone sharing it. A local Fox's daughter had caught his eye; he had observed her carrying buckets of water up from the river. On a stout oaken yoke, the cold water sloshing on her homespun blouse making the white clothe almost transparent. And thus exposing her pert round breasts, her rigid nipples standing delightfully erect. "Oh... for a nibble." Peter mused longingly to himself. "For one little nibble of those nipples."
So he asked the Bear to act as matchmaker, and sent him to the Fox's cottage to ask for the Vixen's paw in marriage. But after hearing the Rabbits generous proposal, the young Vixen answered disdainfully. "No... I won't marry the Rabbit."
"Why will you not?" The big Bear inquired curiously.
"Well to be perfectly honest." She answered. "His tail is too short... if you know what I mean." The Bear smiled softly and shook his shaggy head.
"But, my dear girl, the length doesn't matter." He growled amused. "It is quality rather than quantity that counts!" The big gruff Bear assured with a knowing smile. "Believe me... I myself have seen Peter twitch young ladies into ecstasies."
"No... No it won't do!" The young Vixen declared firmly. "In my dreams, I've seen the tail I desire." "It is long and strong and quite unlike the Rabbits poor little wisp of fuzz!" "Let us not talk about it anymore..." "Good day Mr. Bear!" And she sent him away to inform Peter of her decision...
Now the gossip soon circulated among the folks of the forest that the Vixen had refused to marry the Rabbit because his tail was too short. This rumor reached the keen ears of the Wolf, who chuckled amused.
'If the Fox's daughter won't marry the Rabbit because his tail's to short.' Mused the Wolf. 'Then she will surely marry me... for I have a long strong tail.' 'There isn't a female in the province who would refuse a ride on it!' And so the Wolf to set off to the Bear asking the big friendly Ursine to act as matchmaker for him. The big Bruin agreed and set out for the Fox's cottage at once.
"You were right..." He said to the Vixen, broaching the subject of marriage once more. "The Rabbit is not a proper husband for you, because of his short tail." "I know of another suitor however, whose tail is much longer and stronger."
"Who might that be?" The Vixen asked curiously.
"The Wolf..." "He is an important personage among us, and his tail is very long and very strong!" The big Bruin assured. "Will you consent to marrying him?"
"Well..." The Vixen demurred. "Seeing is believing."
"Very well." The Bear replied with a sly smirk, he'd expected just this reply. "Stay by the window, and I will have the Wolf walk across your yard with his wonderful tail standing erect." The Bear explained as he went off, but soon returned with news that the Wolf was on his way. "Turn around... my dear and look out the window." He coaxed. The eager young Vixen did as she was asked, a weak feeling oozing into the pit of her stomach and waves of anticipatory warmth jetting between her legs. As soon as her back was turned, the Bear pushed his stiff tail forwards. "Bend over my beauty..." He commanded gruffly. "So that you can get a closer view." The distracted Vixen raised her pert little derriere to target level. The Bear assuring his success as a matchmaker this time, plunged into her bristly little sex just as the Wolf came strutting into view. With his tail looking longer and stronger than ever.
"Ahahahaa." The little Vixen moaned as she swiveled her hips compliantly on the Bears invader.
"Notice the dimensions... my dear." The Bear grunted softly into her ear. "The Wolf can stick his tail deep into any nook or cranny." "Nothing is inaccessible to that stiff rod." He flexed his own tail and thrust it deeper into her. As the Wolf began to whip his tail proudly back and forth... back and forth! The Bears fat body surged up and down in perfect rhythmical accompaniment. The sleek red derriere rotated frenziedly, while the glassy-eyed Vixen stared in fascination at the Wolf's purplish red tail! Resting her full breasts upon the windowsill, she gyrated helplessly. One plump breast escaped from the confines of her blouse to loll temptingly with its nipple over the edge. The big dark Wolf approached, snapping the head of his tail in the breeze. While the Bear rocked as fast as his cumbersome body would allow...
Just as the Wolf grabbed that vulnerable nipple between his teeth and took a delectable bite. A loud 'YIFF!' rent the air, followed by a brutal, primitive growl! Beads of frothy sweat wreathed the brow of the young Vixen. The Wolf and Bear exchanged satisfied grins; they would have their way now!
"Yes... yes I will marry you!" The helpless young Vixen agreed weakly. The big grinning Wolf declared...
"Let the wedding begin as soon as possible, we will have a sumptuous banquet at your house to which we'll invite the whole province."

On the day of the wedding, the Wolf triumphantly called on the defeated Rabbit to invite him to the ceremony. The Rabbit was lying abed, when the Wolf arrived.
"Come to my wedding little one." The big Wolf demanded gloatingly.
"I can not..." The little Rabbit answered. "Yesterday I ate too many carrots, and today I'm too sick to walk as you can see." The proud Wolf looked around for some answer, and spotted some tack lying about. Without wondering what a Rabbit might be doing with such gear, he promptly proposed.
"I'll tell you what we can do..." "I will wear this saddle and bridle... you can mount me, and I'll take you to the wedding!" Smiling the Rabbit quickly agreed, and swiftly helped the Wolf into the gear. Then strapped on a set of sharp spurs and picked up his riding crop! Quickly mounting up... the Rabbit guided his new mount down the trail into town. As they neared the outskirts the Wolf said plainly.
"I won't take you any farther... people might see us and make fun of me!"
"Very well." Snarled the Rabbit aggressively. "If you won't take me of your own free will... I will force you!" With that he lashed the Wolf mercilessly with his crop and dug his spurs into the Lupines flanks! The proud Wolf was helpless to resist and forced to run into the town. Racing down the streets relieved to see them disserted, but then realizing that the people were at his wedding. The Rabbit guided his reluctant mount up to the blacksmith's shop. The burly Tiger was standing outside unloading a wagon when the pair trotted up.
"Ho Ho Mr. Rabbit... what a fine looking mount you have there." The Burly Tiger laughed, making the Wolf cringe in shame at being seen in this manner!
"Find and fast..." The Rabbit agreed, but then quickly added. "But more than a bit unruly... I was thinking you could help me with that!" He leaped off the Wolf's back showing no sign of illness now. And swiftly secured his unwilling mount to the hitching post.
"Oh... how so?" The grinning blacksmith wiped his big paws and tilted his head to one side.
"What do you usually do with overly aggressive mounts?" The Rabbit asked... making the big feline's smile widen even more.
"I'll get my gelding tools!" The big Feline chuckled as the Wolf's eyes rounded in terror.

The Rabbit halted in front of the Fox's home, flinging the reins at the stable boy. "Tether my horse well, so that he won't run away." He called then hurried up to the eager bride and said sneeringly. "You wouldn't marry me because of my short tail." "It appears that you liked the Wolf's better, but he's only fit to be my saddle horse."
"What do you mean?" The astonished Vixen asked startled.
"If you don't believe it... go to the stables yourself and have a look!" The small gray Rabbit snickered. The young Vixen ran to the stables and saw the saddled Wolf tethered there. His handsome tail now bobbed quite short... and his pendulous jewels gone! She felt betrayed and degraded, clutching her head in confusion she returned to the cottage. The Rabbit generously saved her honor by marrying her on the spot! Never again did the Wolfs proud plume wave so dashingly in the breeze as it had previously. The Rabbits tail on the other hand, grew longer, stronger, perkier, jerkier, thicker and slicker! And night after night the good furs of the village heard wild squeals of delight coming from the Rabbits den...
