This is a prequel story I've been working on about Daniel's life prior to the story in The Raised Tails. It'll be a series and it'll basically tell the tale of how Daniel lives a tedious and tiresome life at college but eventually becomes happier with his life and in the end gets the job he has in TRT, thus beginning the events of TRT.
