The Scrolls of Kapern : Chapter2 A Knight of Passion
#2 of The Scrolls of Kapern
Here is the second "Tail" in the Scrolls of Kapern. With luck this one will be better than the last. I would like to thank Xander Matrix for his help with my brainstorming.

After Handen went missing the current King of Jarido, Lord Richard, Had his men start the search for the scroll hunter. The only way Handen would ever disappear like this was if the scrolls were involved. His men arrived at Handen's modest home and found the notes he had left behind. They then had the order to confiscate all of his notes to aid in the search, but there was a spy who had been posing as one of Jarido's knights that managed to snag a few before they all were taken away. He then sent it back to his employer in The Town of Alfindon. Jarido was not the only Kingdom looking for the scrolls. After hearing of them so long ago other Kings and Lords went in search of them. This in the past had started wars, but now the Kingdoms all looked for it almost as if it was a game. The first to find the scrolls would get the glory and riches.
After the notes and news had been sent back to Alfindon the lord of the province Sent out his men and Wizards in search of any clues to the where Handen might have gone. The original notes had been given to the lord's most trusted knight, Sir Andrew Skymark, and he sent out in search of the rest of the Scrolls.
After reading all the notes through, Anderw knew that he must seek the help of one who could use magic, but because all the Wizards were out in search of the note's writer, there was only one to turn to. There was a witch who lived just outside of town. She often meddled in the dark arts, but knew much on things that a normal mage might not. He came to her hut and asked for her help. She accepted, but only if Andrew would allow her to see the notes. Andrew being a knight of honor would normaly have refused her, but his lord had given anyone the right to seek the scrolls as long as they were found. He unhappily agreed to her terms and read them. After a short while she told him that the mention of purple flowers and a stone had brought something to her mind. She told him that in the forest there was a glade that few knew about. A place of power and mystery. The glade was known as The Glade of Love, and she mentioned about how much "fun" she has had there in the past, but she never thought a scroll could have been hidden there. Yet the glade had many flowers of the color described and had a stone in the center with the name carved into its face.
Andrew quickly went off for the glade, and he had been searching for days. He was probably half way to Jarido by now. The knight sat on his horse talking to himself, a habit that he tended to do, and told him self again why he must complete this quest. "For the glory of my lord Richard!" he said "I have not failed a quest yet and I wont now. If I must search for the rest my life I will." Even though he said this to himself he couldn't help but think that this was a waste of time. "no, no, no! I must not think like that... I have taken an oath to give my life to my lord if he requires it, and so I will! I will not be remembered as a dishonorable Knight."
Andrews Horse Stopped. He tried to get it to continue through the brush but the beast would not move. Andrew decided that the horse must be tired, so he dismounted. "I might as well get some practice in while I'm here" he said to himself, as he fixed his saddlebags. He then pulled his great sword from it's sheath on his back and started swinging at a near by tree. Andrew was not know for just his loyalty. He was one of the best swordsmen in Alfindon, and it showed as he swung his sword with speed and control. His armor shined as whatever light came through the canopy hit it's polished surface. His breast plate was painted with the image a hawk in flight, the symbol of his family name. His helmet also was shaped in the image of the birds head to add a slightly fearsome look to him. All together Andrew looked as noble a knight as any, and he was proud of it.
Andrew stopped mid swing as a smell drifted past his nose. It was sweet. It was almost a fruity smell like cherries but more subtle. Andrew Sheathed his sword and removed his helm, revealing his short black hair and handsome face. The knight sniffed the air trying to find the direction it had come from. "This smell... Could it be?" He ran off into the woods holding his helm in one hand and leaving it off so that he could smell without the interference of the slightly rusty smell of his helm. The was getting stronger as he came nearer, and the knight smiled as his quest might finally come to a close.
He finally came to it. A small glade illuminated by the light that got past the tree's branches. It was filled with purple flowers with red center. In the center of the glade was a small stone. He approached the stone only to find the writing that he seeked. [The shrine of Love.] "I have found it at last!" he exclaimed in excitement. "Now I must find out how to enter." He started looking around the stone trying to find any sign of the object that would once again fulfill his duty to serve his lord, but as he looked he was confused to find that he was becoming aroused. Even though he was popular back in Alfindon, he had had sex only a hand full of times. He had always been too busy doing his duty to enjoy himself, as he was now. Andrew ignored his uncomfortable erection, and continued to look.
"Why do I not see any hint of it here if this is where the scroll dwells?" It was then that he remembered something in Handen's notes. He quickly pulled the scroll from his belt where he kept it, (Just in case) and read the line. [Entry 36: My research seems to point out the fact that the scroll is somewhere with purple flowers and with a stone that marks the location. My guess is that it may be under that stone.]
He laughed in victory and placed the notes back on his belt. He went over to the stone (which was no mere pebble) and pushed it from where it had set for many years. Underneath was a ladder that seemed to lead down into what looked like a crypt. "How can it be this easy?" he questioned himself, as he started to walk down into the unknown. He came to a chamber with Glowing gems lining the wall, and roots hang from the roof. In the corner was a skeleton of what looked to be a monster. It had horns and a tail but other then being humanoid did not reveal much of what it was, but in its hand was a leather bound scroll. "By Kildan, That's It!" he said as he freed the scroll from the monster's death grasp. As instructed by his lord he opened the scroll. Lord Richard had told Andrew that if he found the scroll that he was to gain it's power. For the lord would trust no one as much with this gift than him.
Andrew scanned its text just happy that he had brought honor to his lord. [Too unlock the power that you seek you must first hold in your mind the image of a creature of nightmare or dream. After this place your hand upon the marks and say "Nalas tan'du ko Kapern"]
"A creature of nightmare or dream?" The knight thought of this and remembered some of what he had heard of old magic. In the old times wizards would hide their treasure in hidden locations. And to lead them back to it they would create spirit guides that took the form of a beast then showed the wizard the location. This is what the Scroll must be. A spell to guide him to Kapern. Andrew did not want to endanger the spell so he removed his armor so that it would not interfere. That is why the wizards wore robes.
Now he had to think of a creature. What would be fitting to guide him to that which he must find. "I will summon the only beast worthy enough to guide me to Kapern." He searched through his mind and grabbed hold of the image of his family's symbol. The hawk...
The knight of Alfindon placed his hand upon the mark and said "Nalas tan'du ko Kapern." The room around him vanished to be replaced with darkness as energy surged through, and paralyzed him.
A Monster that looked like a demon appeared before him. It had white skin, horns, hooves, a crown of crystals, and two tails and spoke in a voice that commanded respect.
"Hail, Sir Andrew. I am the magical memory of King Kapernum, and I am here to guide you through your initiation into the knights of Kapern." Andrew felt the flow of power stop, releasing him from its hold. He kneeled down bowing his head to the king of the most legendary kingdom of myth. "Your majesty. I don't mean to be rude but I am already in service to my lord. I can not go back on my word."
"Ah, but your lord ordered you to gain the power of the scroll did he not?" "How did you... How did you know of that." The knight said as his skin began to itch. "I am only a memory but I can see into your mind so that I may judge if you are worthy, and worthy you are. Your lords command and the oath you took to Kapern should be enough to allow you to become a knight of Kapern" Andrew thought as he resisted the urge to scratch. "What oath do you speak of?" The demon creature looked at the knight with its glowing eyes and said. "The words you spoke are and oath that says that you give your body to Kapern, and as your honor commands, you must go through with it." Andrew shook his head in agreement but could not speak because of how distracted he was by the horrible itching all over his body.
At last, he couldn't take it and he removed his blue tunic and began scratching his bare skin. "Forgive me your grace. I cannot stop the itching." "Do not fear, noble knight. The feeling will leave you when the transformation is complete, but you could speed it up by removing the rest of your clothes." "As you command," he said as he started removing his trousers and boots. After removing them all the itching was reduced. "Now," his new king said. "You shall gain the form of the symbol you chose."
Pain shot through the knights skin. It felt like he was being stabbed a hundred times at once, but Andrew endured it as his training had taught him. He watched as small brown points broke through his skin and started growing longer, and as they did fine hair like fibers grew on the spines. As his feathers grew, the pain subsided and his attention was pulled to his hands. The skin on them composed it's self into scaly bands, and black talons grew from his fingernails, like that of a birds.
His legs and feet also reconfigured into a more avian form. His toes changing so that he had three talon tipped toes up front and one where his heel use to be. He felt the pressure on his face as his mouth and nose fused into a hooked beak, and pressure at the base of his spine and shoulder proved to be his tail and wings growing in.
After a few more changes their stood a proud anthromorphic Hawk. "As my last gift to you, I have made your armor so that it will fit your new form and I will give you your new name... You are now, no longer Andrew. You are Sir Aleon, Knight of Kapern."
Aleon stood up looking at his new form and found it to his liking. "What do you now require of me, my lord?" He said with a air of anticipation in his voice. "Return to the shrine. There the other Knight of Kapern has wondered, and there is where you shall start your new life. It will be easy for your fellow knight to find what she seeks while in the glade. Just remember good knight. Do not fear what is to come... Embrace it." The stone room once again faded into reality and Kapernum was gone.
Aleon quickly gathered his altered armor and sword and started to make his way out. He could hold off putting it on until he had returned to the glade. He did not want to fail his first order as Aleon. As he came to the surface, he was once again greeted by the sweet smell of the flowers, he looked up at the world in awe, as his new senses were much stronger, and he so he stood there, armor forgotten, as he just took in the sights and sounds of the forest.
Mist had been walking for days, and she had found that her new form had the advantage of being able to eat grass and leaves. She also instinctually new what plants and fruit were safe to eat, yet despite the gift given to her by the memory she still didn't fully feel like she should be like this, part animal, female, and living in the forest. She now accepted her new roll in life but it just didn't feel right.
She had been following her instincts, but they have seemed to have taken her away from Jarido, but at this point she was in no rush to possibly have her new form discovered so that she may be experimented on, so Mist continued to follow her feelings to see where they would lead her.
She came upon a glade filled with purple flowers and a fruity sweet smell. Mist's tongue clicked with recognition of the flowers. They were the same ones described in her notes. The ones that may have held one of the other eight scrolls. The doe quickly ran out into the flowers to find the stone that she had read about in the arcane texts, but she was startled to see a bird-man standing next to it, looking at the treetops. Mist was about to run when her tongue clicked again with the thought that this may be the other Knight of Kapern.
The Hawk creature must have heard her click and looked over to see her. He looked her up and down apparently intrigued by her odd appearance and said "Greetings my friend. Are you the one that my lord spoke of?" He said with what seemed like a smile on his beak. Mist came closer but not without caution but not because she had nothing on but her pack. She had seemed to forget her modesty awhile ago. She wanted to be carful because if she didn't know that the scroll would turn her into a female deer monster she imagined then what else could she have not foreseen?
"Who... who are you?" she stuttered. "I am Sir Andr... Sir Aleon." He stumbled. This to Mist was a good sign. If he was still unsure of the name he was given then that is the proof that she needed to know that he was who she needed to find. "The memory said I should seek out the other knight of Kapern, and we have to become bound together or something. Do you know what he meant?"
"I'm afraid I do not, my lady. My lord only said that it would be easy for you here to find it." Mist didn't know about him calling her "My lady" but she at least she knew she was in the right place.
The doe clicked in realization that she had not given this knight a proper greeting. "My name is Mist by the wa..." she stopped suddenly as she tripped and fell, knocking Aleon over and landing ontop of him, and stirring up a small cloud of pollen from the flowers they fell on. "I'm so sorry" she said, worried at how he might react.
If it were not for the feather covering his face she would have seen him blushing from having a naked woman fall ontop of his own clothesles form. He now regretted not putting on his armor. Aleon regained his composure and said "No Problem my lady. It was not your fault."
They both paused as the sweet smell of the flowers hit them like a boulder. Mist suddenly felt herself become wet with arousal which was worsened as she felt Aleon's slick member slide across her belly from the place it hid within his groin.
Aleon didn't know what happed but his temperature rose because of the embarrassment of becoming so turned on all of a sudden by the odd creature he had barely met. He was also surprised when some of her juices dripped onto him. Could she be attracted to him?
Mist rolled off the hawk, pulling her pack off and slipping it next to her, as she went into heat for the second time. Her mind strained to try to find what could have caused this sudden activation of sexual desire. Her tongue clicked between her heavy breathing as she figured it out. "Its... It's the flowers! The pollen must cause who ever inhales it to enter a state of arousal!"
Aleon Couldn't help but think the clicking she did was cute, but pushed it out of his mind as he now knew why it was called the shrine of love...
Mist started to shiver now as she tried to resist her urges. Her sex was dripping more then what would be natural now, and it became increasingly hard to not give in. It was made worse by the fact that next to her was a sexy male hawk with a hard on. Wait... how could she think of him as sexy?!?!
Aleon resisted the urges better due to his training and discipline, but he too was breathing heavily with the power of his pulsating avian member. Though it seemed odd he found her appealing with her two tails and grey deer like body. She was beautiful even with her clawless feet and paws, and her eyes were a enchanting yellow...
The laid there shoulders touching, looking at each other, and finally Mist gave in.
"Im sorry to ask y you this," She said still shaking from her resistance. "but... will you have me?" Aleon was taken aback but he knew he couldn't hold on much longer ether, and she was shaking with obvious discomfort from her need. He accepted her offer by leaning over and kissing her.
As soon as his beak met her mouth Mist grabbed hold of the Hawk and returned the kiss passionately. Their tongues intertwined as Aleon rolled on top of her, embracing the creature who hours ago he would have killed as a demon.
Mist looked into the blue eyes of her lover and the last bits of her former self and worries melted away. What did it matter what or who she use to be. The only thing that mattered is she had a amazing Avian on top of her and she wanted more.
Mist made a half-whine-half-moan sound, asking her new friend to continue. Aleon took the offer and plunged his new avian member into his doe's awaiting hole. She whimpered at the feeling of being filled again, and she continued to assault his mouth. Both not being able to stand it, they rocked back and forth as the slammed together again and again. Aleon had never felt anyone so slick and warm before. Not even the best human could have caused him the feeling he now had. "Please..." She cried in-between the kiss. "Please!" "As you wish my lady..." He thrusted harder and faster. His wings helped embrace her as her tails did him, as the pressure built in his member. Mist orgasm for the second time in her new form, and it was even stronger than the first as the waves of pleasure rippled through her, then after a few more thrusts, Aleon released his seed into her sex. The force of the orgasm was more then the knight had ever felt, and he laid on her, both of them gasping.
After what seemed like hours Aleon pulled out of her, and rolled off, allowing their mixed juices to flow from Mist. Her mind cleared and her breath slowed as the lust faded, allowing her to speak again. "Im... Im sorry for making you do that." She said. "It's just that I couldn't... couldn't..." Aleon Kissed her again, but this one was calm and gentle. He broke the kiss and said "You were not the only one who wanted it. It is my fault as well." "Yes, well... What now?" Aleon thought for a moment then said. "I'm going to take a wild guess and say that us mating was that bond the lord spoke to you of."
Mist made her tongue and agreed with him, and Aleon could help but say, " I love that click sound you make... Its so cute!" Mist blushed to the complament, and thanked him. As a human male She had never been thought of as cute or sexy, but here was someone who seemed to actually care for her. It made her... Happy.
"I guess we should go find the other scrolls then" she said. "Oh! I have notes of a scroll hunter that went missing about a week ago. It has a few notes on another of the scrolls. We can use them to find it!"
Mist resisted the urge to ask where he had gotten a hold of her notes but she didn't want to revile her past form to him on the chance that he could leave her. So she just agreed.
Aleon gathered his armor and weapon again and they went of to where his horse was. Unaware that it had left in the time he was gone, scared off by some other wild animal. Mist without Aleon knowing had picked a few flowers and hid them in her pack, but as they walk Mist couldn't help but think to her self. "I couldn't become pregnant could I? No. There is no way! Right?"
